Hi all thought I’d share my first experience with Mamedica.
So I moved to Mamedica from TMCC due to terrible experience with them never getting back to me and generally not caring about anything but taking my money. It felt like buying from the worst street dealer. Mamedica had good reviews on here and were very good at calling back and following up etc right up until the point they took my money. Had my consultation 2 weeks ago and was told it’d be about a week to get my script which is fair enough. Got my script last weds and things are out of stock (why prescribe if it’s out of stock??) so I can’t have them. Emailed them now 3 times Thursday and Friday about alternatives and no reply. Waited all weekend and now today and still no reply. Feels like they don’t care about me now they have my money (I paid £200 to cover all future appointments so they’ve basically got me). All in all a poor experience and I haven’t even had my MC yet. Very disappointed. Now had to spend my money allocated for them on the black market because I’m at risk of very dangerous severe seizures without it (I’m an epilepsy patient).
Are there any clinics which actually care about patients and not just taking their money? 😞

I recently got a LG2 for Black Friday last year. At first when I got it, it ran perfectly fine (as a matter of fact it was better than I thought it would be). When searching other posts on this subreddit I found a lot of complaints of there being a lack of backlit keyboard or lacking screen quality/definition, non of which have bothered me.
My issue is that around the start of the year (2-3 months) of using my computer, Roblox started crashing after around 45 mins of gaming on level 3 graphics and on games that aren't necessarily demanding. Initially I thought I had an update that I didn't yet install or I was on battery saver. Also, I have only had a 1 or 2 apps open in the background, normally Spotify or Edge. However, this started happening constantly. All of these times I had no updates that haven't been installed along with the computer having high battery levels or being plugged in.
My LG2 has 236gb on it and I haven't even used 80 gbs of that. I doubt that's the cause but just for good measure. I simply googled how to get Roblox to stop crashing on PC and it said something about setting the Roblox file to the highest priority in some management thing. As you may be able to tell, I'm not the best at tech stuff (especially PCs). I'm not sure if this has done something to impact the performance of the game client which I doubt it has given it's supposed to make it faster.
If any expert (or simply anyone smarter than me lol) knows if this has done anything towards the performance of my computer please comment what I should do. Should I return it (still in warranty) or are there any other fixes for this. And yes, I have deleted it and reinstalled it multiple times.

Frederique Constant’s New Highlife Automatic Is An Interesting Rolex Oyster 36 Alternative At 1/5th Of The Price
Ask on a forum what would be a great alternative if you weren’t ready to spend about $10.000 on the really nice and colorful Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36, and the two most likely answers you will get are the Tissot Gentleman (which lacks the range of colors) and the Casio Tsuyosa (which is all about color). And these are two mighty fine watches. But they are also sub $500 (depending on where you shop). And it’s very clear that they are not luxury watches. Now, if you want a great alternative to the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 that is trying to make a break towards the luxury watch market, take a look at the new Frederique Constant Highlife Automatic. Not only are they introducing a bunch of great colors, they also have a very interesting dial. And they’re almost 1/5th of the price of the Oyster Perpetual.
Frederique Constant might be a watch that’s not on your radar every day, but they offer great value for money, entry level luxury - especially in the Highlife Automatic - with some pieces that can get up there in price. Their entry into the same realm as the Oyster Perpetual comes up a bit short, at 34mm, but with the trend of customers wanting smaller and more vintage-looking watches, this is a great option. Most of the case is brushed, with polished links on the integrated bracelet. The watch also comes with a white rubber strap.
Where the watch majorly differs from any competition would be the dial. It comes in ice blue, champagne gold, and blossom pink, with a subtle pattern which looks like the grid around a globe. This is a pattern found on many FCs. Inside the watch is the FC-303, based on the Sellita SW200.
The Frederique Constant Highlife Automatic watches in the new colours are unlimited and available now, priced at $1,895.

The Porsche Design Chronograph 1 Celebrates 75 Years Of Porsche’s First Car
75 years ago, Ferdinand “Ferry” Porsche built one of the most influential cars to ever exist - the Porsche 356 Roadster. Not only did that car change the car world by itself, it also set the groundwork for one of the greatest sports car brands in the world. 24 years later, Ferdinand “Butzi” Porsche (yeah, they weren’t all that creative with their names, Ferry’s dad who constructed the Beetle was also named Ferdinand) created a company called Porsche Design, a production design studio that will take the Porsche ethos and apply it to stuff that isn’t cars. One of the things Porsche Design perfected is watches, and to celebrate the anniversary of the 356, Porsche Design is releasing a new version of their Chronograph 1 – the 75 Years of Porsche Edition
The original Porsche Design Chronograph 1, manufactured by Orfina, wasn’t just popular because of its looks, but also because of its technological advancement. It was the watch that pioneered the use of PVD treatments on watch cases, making a fully black watch. It also appeared on the wrist of Tom Cruise in Top Gun. The new model isn’t a replica of the old one, but look at them side by side and you see a clear evolution.
The Chronograph 1 – the 75 Years of Porsche Edition is made out of titanium, 40mm wide, once again gets a matte black finish and paired to a textile leather strap with light-blue decorative stitching and a central red stripe or the included black leather strap with matching black stitching. The anti-reflective, matte-black dial was inspired by the dashboard in the cockpit of the Porsche 911, but the case has been updated to titanium instead of the original stainless steel used in 1972
Interestingly, the old Chronograph 1 was powered by the Valjoux 7750, and the new one has the WERK 01.140 which is, in essence, a modernised version of that movement. Very modernised, very upgraded. It has a flyback chronograph functionality, black-coated decoration and COSC certification that ensures accuracy within +6/-4 seconds per day. Also, the automatic winding rotor has taken the shape of the legendary Fuchs wheel with a Porsche crest
The watch is limited, frustratingly to 475 pieces. Yes, I get you would like to sell more watches, but 475 doesn’t mean anything. 75 means something. 356 means something. Anyways, sale starts June 8 and it’s priced at $11,000.

Chopard L.U.C. Full Strike Gets An Update In Full Blue Sapphire
The Chopard L.U.C Full Strike is an award winning watch, and it’s no wonder why. Introduced in 2016, it was the brand’s first minute repeater and just look at it. It’s a perfect blend of tradition and innovation, exhibiting exceptional construction and decoration. Now, Chopard is releasing a new version of the watch - this time in a blue sapphire case. So, if you ever wanted to get the Hublot Big Bang Integrated Tourbillon Full Blue Sapphire, but wanted an actually fantastic watch, here it is!
To use the biggest cliche of them all - this is not a revolution, it is an evolution. But it really is an evolution, as it is a color update to last year’s Full Strike Sapphire, with the 42.5 mm case, and crown with its integrated minute repeater pusher made of sapphire. It still has the same insane sapphire crystal gongs, machined from a single sapphire block.
The dial is made of sapphire, too, with the movement in full view. For easy reading, the railway-type minutes track was engraved and painted on the crystal, and eight rhodium-plated, shaped hour markers, positioned from 12 to 7 o’clock, were applied to make the chapter ring.
The L.U.C 08.01-L hand-wound movement is COSC certified and bears the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark. It comprises 533 parts, beats to the frequency of 28,800vph and has a power reserve of 60 hours.
Unlike the Hublot, which comes on a full sapphire bracelet which many watchmakers have called an impossible dirt trap, the Chopard L.U.C Full Strike Blue Sapphire is offered on a blue alligator leather strap and it’s limited to just five pieces. The price is on request, but last year’s clear sapphire version was rumoured to cost $450.000

The Norqain Freedom 60 Chrono 40mm Ice Blue Limited Edition Is A Summer Ready Baby Blue Watch
Norqain is only five years old and yet, it currently has more than 50 different watches in their lineup. Started by Ben Küffer who brought over a bunch of people from Breitling, where he worked, one of their early successes was the Freedom 60 Chrono, housed in a 43mm case. People loved the watch, but they loved the 40mm version launched last year even more. Norqain is now releasing a limited edition of the 40mm chronograph with an ice blue dial.
It’s the same old watch as it was last year - 40mm in diameter and 14.9mm thick, with a box-type AR sapphire crystal and 100-metre water resistance rating. There are three strap options and Norqain is proud that they are all animal cruelty-free - a stainless steel bracelet, a black Perlon rubber strap and a linen Nortide strap made of recycled plastic recovered from the ocean.
The dial has a tri-compax layout and gets a new color palette with a sunray brushed ice blue dial, with black subdials and silver applied indices. There’s a colour-matching angled date at the unfortunate position between 4 and 5 o’clock. Inside the watch is Norqain’s calibre NN19, based on the Sellita SW510, a cam-operated chronograph with 27 jewels, 28,800vph (4Hz) and a power reserve of 62 hours. This is an update last year’s 40mm model, which had an ETA based movement.
The Norqain Freedom 60 Chrono 40mm Ice Blue Limited Edition is limited to 300 pieces and retails for CHF 4,250 with the steel bracelet, CHF 4,150 with the rubber strap and CHF 3,990 with the Nortide strap.

Revolution’s Latest Collaboration With De Rijke & Co. Gives Us A Whimsical Miffy Watch With A Sapphire Dial And Great Price
If you are by chance, like me, a parent to a little girl, you know all about Miffy. If you are not, all you need to know is that Miffy is cult Dutch cartoon bunny created by Dick Bruna, whose books have sold more than 100 million copies since 1955. Miffy being Dutch is appropriate, since this watch is made by De Rijke & Co, a relatively young Dutch watch brand that was started after it’s owner Laurens de Rijke in 2013 took his fifty year old Vespa scooter for a trip on the Silk Road, covering a distance of 11.000 kilometer, he past countries like Azerbaijan. Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Born from this trip was an inspiration to create a watch, and it’s very interesting. While many brands want to create a fully modular watch, it always ends up being cumbersome. De Rijke went another path - he created a two part case that allows you to spin the internal part that holds the dial, crystal and movement, up to 90 degrees, allowing it to be positioned wherever you wanted for comfort. The lugs of the watch are also unique, solid and made for straps to pass through them. All of this gives the watch almost as much modularity as a modular watch, while still being a good watch.
Also, this is not the first time you will find Miffy on a De Rijke & Co. watch. They have a completely sold out collection of four Miffy watches differing only in color and limited to 25 pieces per color. The watch is powered by the Sellita SW 288-1, a movement that has been seen modified for the MING 37.05 Moonphase and unmodified in the Farer Moonphase. All of this makes sense, as the De Rijke & Co. Miffy watch is a moonphase watch, where the moon is replaced with an illustration of Miffy.
And now, here comes Revolution magazine with their special edition of the De Rijke & Co. Miffy, but this time it’s the Double Moonphase. This version of the watch has a translucent sapphire dial, which allowed them to add a second Miffy, which turns the watch into a dual-hemisphere moonphase indicator.
Production will be limited to 100 pieces and the watch is priced at EUR 3,100, which is EUR 400 higher than the already sold out Miffy’s which don’t have the sapphire dial. Available for purchase on 6 June 2023, 10pm SGT 4pm CET 10am EST

The Romain Gauthier Introduces The C Titanium Edition Four In Black And Blue
There’s a certain type of watch one expects from an independent watchmaker. Serious, classical, with all the watchmaking talents on display and highly personal. Romain Gauthier took all of those characteristics and applied them to his watches. Then he decided to create the Continuum, which is, in fact, an independent’s version of a sports watch, filled with Gauthier’s trademark touches. The model was later renamed C by Romain Gauthier, but the series retained the essential idea and continued to evolve aesthetically. The brand has just revealed the new edition of the C by Romain Gauthier Titanium in a Grade 5 titanium case coated with black ALDC.
If you follow the work of Romain Gauthier, the new C by Romain Gauthier Titanium Edition Four will look very familiar to you, for the watch sports the same 41mm x 9.55mm, 50m water-resistant case crafted from Grade 5 titanium, with a black diamond-like carbon coating, as the Edition Two from last year. All of the titanium used also gives the watch incredible lightness and the whole thing weighs just 55 grams.
The new reference is distinguished mainly by coloured elements. The crown at 2 o’clock features a blue rubber ring. The main dial plate in black Grade 5 titanium received a straight-graining finish; the slightly off-centred hours and minutes are indicated with the white Super-LumiNova-filled 18k white gold hands and applied numerals and hour markers.
But all of this is secondary to the movement. It is a contemporary in-house calibre, manually wound, with exceptional decoration and finishes. The movement with signature Gauthier-reinterpreted historically typical finger-style bridges in natural titanium and rhodium-treated gears is the same as in the previous Continuum editions. It beats to a frequency of 28,800vph and has a power reserve of 60 hours.
The C by Romain Gauthier Titanium Edition Four is a limited edition of 38, and comes on a black textured rubber strap with satin-finished and polished Grade 5 titanium pin buckle coated with black ADLC. It’s priced at CHF 38,000 and while this is an insane amount of money for a watch, I can think of many mass produced watches with less impressive materials and movements that will ask you for much more money.

Watch Worthy - A look at an offbeat, less known watch you might actually like

Classy, With A Touch Of Sportiness; The Moritz Grossmann Power Reserve Vintage
Made out of solid silver, the finishing is outstanding. The elongated black Roman numerals exude elegance and are embraced with a very fine minute track. Look closely and you can see small blue markers at every five-minute increment, a touch of colour that ties in with a key element on the dial: the power reserve indication. This simple little horizontal display is very practical on a day-to-day basis when dealing with a hand-wound watch (which this is).

I noticed that my enemies, followers, creatures are acting very idiotic. They sheathe a thousand times, say the same thing a thousand times, taunt again and again, they sometimes don't even attack until i do, followers are barely any help because they just watch me or get stuck on sneak, or shout ''Iaah'' and such things while getting attacked by enemies but not attack them back and just stand there. %90 of the time it's like that.

My girlfriend (23f) , a close friend (24f) and I (23m) just moved to Jersey city from nyc. We viewed the apartment in early may, it was advertised and shown as this beautiful 1st floor brownstone apt in JC only 30 min from Manhattan. We moved in 3 days ago and Our landlord (Katie) has been raising some concerns...
During the viewing, we noticed a few things like trash in the backyard, construction equipment and even a few piles of dog shit which katie assured would be cleaned and fixed. We were told that she would be hiring cleaners for the apartment after the prev tenants left too. Everything looked good so we signed the year lease.
The day we arrived with all our stuff, the floors were disgusting, the windows were dusty and everything in the kitchen was used and unwashed. My cats paws are black from all the dirt on the floor. The backyard was still covered in dog shit and rubble from construction. We went to the basement where we were promised to have laundry but we're met with two old machines that didn't work and "needed repairs". The door that separates our apt and the shared space hallway barely locked and could be pushed open after "locking".
Before we moved in, I asked about flooding and water damage and was told "absolutely not, has never happened". But, on the 2nd day my rooms ceiling began to leak because of the upstairs neighbors shower. We ran upstairs and knocked on the neighbors door, she said that katie knew about it because the previous tenants would complain all the time! That really sent me so I called her and was told that contractors would be there tomorrow to fix all these issues right away.
The following day, contractors come and katie's follows. Everything I mentioned is never met with an apology but with lies and excuses. She acted like she hired cleaners and was surprised saying "oh wow, they did such a bad job" when they never fucking came! She made it seem like all these problems were things she already knew about but didn't want to mention so she could get us to sign. She also acted like she never knew it leaked even though the floor boards are lifted from water damage. The contractor end up ripping a huge hole in my ceiling and fixing the pipe. Katie tried to have them leave the hole there u til Monday so I'd have to live with this gape above my bed. I got mad and demanded that it's fixed right away. We all spoke to her and expressed how unfair alot of this is. Two of us couldn't provide proof of income so she asked for another month so she could " feel more comfortable renting to people who can't prove they can afford it" which I get! But she doesn't want to ensure security in our living space. She's a liar and cheap and she doesn't take accountability for anything. The door was fixed by putting a tiny lock on it that I could still bust down, my ceiling just has bare drywall now, and my floors seem impossible to clean. The basement where the laundry was supposed to be is extremely dusty and there's a giant yuck puddle swamp down there. Last night I noticed my floor had a puddle seeping out between the floor Molding and the floor boards. My floor boards are completely warped now and the walls are soft from water damage. Katie told me to "put some paper towel down we will do adjustment" WHAT? ADJUST WHAT? REPLACE THE FLOORBOARDS. IF I WANTED WATER IN MY ROOM ID BE A FISH, why do I have a wet corner of my room?!? She's so nonchalant about it because she fucking knew about all this stuff.
We talked to her about being more lenient about our owed 2nd month and we didn't think it was fair. Her solution was to pay us for the days we miss work. Like what? No just fixed the shit and cut us some slack on the next months for this trouble. I hope I'm not out of line by asking that.
I don't know what to do. It feels like she doesn't listen to us and just treats this as a side hustle, she doesn't care about the apt and she doesn't care about her tenants.

As darkened clouds loomed overhead, lightning tore through the sky, illuminating the dark forest with a brilliant burst of light. The crackling energy split the heavens, casting jagged veins of illumination across the landscape. The resounding BOOM that followed reverberated through the air, shaking the very foundation of Cornelia's cozy cabin. Inside, she reclined in her plush chair, enveloped in its welcoming embrace. A soft, crackling warmth emanated from the fireplace, casting a gentle glow that bathed the room in a comforting radiance. She sighed contentedly, the flickering flames casting dancing shadows on the walls, as if they were performers in a mesmerizing show.
"A good sign, isn't that right, Wendy?" Cornelia whispered, her voice a delicate murmur filled with reassurance and affection.
“Wendy wike wain,” said Wendy, with her lustrous ebony-colored fluff, nestled against Cornelia's stomach, her presence a velvety touch against her skin. The room filled with a soft, contented humming as Wendy expressed her happiness.
Cornelia smiled as her pale fingers traced gentle paths along Wendy's back, their movements a tender caress. Her gaze drifted to the window, where nature orchestrated a symphony of raindrops cascading against the glass. Each droplet carried its own rhythm, harmonizing with the crackling fire to create a symphony of soothing melodies.
As Cornelia admired Wendy, a sense of curiosity began to blossom within her. Were there other fluffies out there with the same unique hue? Elves and wealthy humans often boasted vibrant and diverse-colored fluffies in their care, while the "street-rat" fluffies that roamed alleyways possessed more muted variations. Yet, Wendy's fur was a rarity—pure black that held an air of mystique.
Whispers had spread among the villages, snaking through ears and fuelling imaginations. Tales, distorted and embellished, spoke of a sinister pact between Cornelia and the Demon Vlae. In their twisted narratives, the villagers claimed that the evil spirit-lord resided within Wendy, bestowing upon her the cloak of inky blackness.
Cornelia knew these rumours to be falsehoods, mere figments of overactive imaginations, but that did little to quell the villagers' misguided intentions. Not wanting the villagers to burn her at the stake, Cornelia made a deliberate choice to slip away into the embrace of the ancient woods. There, among the towering sentinels of bark and the rustling tapestry of fallen leaves, she sought solace and a life of peace with Wendy.
Just as Cornelia and Wendy began to settle into a tranquil nap, an insistent knocking on the cabin door shattered the serene atmosphere. The abrupt interruption stirred them from their drowsy state, pulling them back into the realm of uncertainty and peril.
Ygor knocked on the door with the force of a strong but controlled thunder. The heavy wooden door swung open by itself, revealing a flaming shadow with crimson eyes that glare into his very soul.
“You do not disturb a witch’s nap you...” scowled Cornelia but she paused upon seeing a sad yet familiar ogre standing before her.
In the ogre's hands, cradled gently like a fragile treasure, was an injured blue fluffy curled up into a ball. The fluffy's delicate hooves pressed against her belly as she whimpered in pain, her soft cries filling the air with a heart-wrenching melody. The scent of fear and desperation clung to her, mingling with the damp earthiness that permeated the cabin.
Cornelia's piercing gaze softened, her eyes lingering on the wounded blue fluffy nestled in Ygor's hands. The dancing flames of the crackling fireplace painted shifting shadows on her face, accentuating the genuine concern etched across her soft features.
“Ygor?” asked Cornelia, her voice a gentle murmur that wrapped around the room.
“Ygor need help, widdle fluffy hurt” replied Ygor, his voice filled with a mix of deep worry and desperation.
"Bring her inside," Cornelia replied, stepping aside and waited for the giant ogre to enter her home. "Don't worry, the cabin is bigger on the inside," she reassured him, her words imbued with a touch of enchantment.
Ygor carefully stepped into the cabin, his massive form casting long shadows against the sturdy wooden walls. Inside, he found himself awestruck by the magic in the cabin. The air is alive with ethereal energy, a tangible testament to Cornelia's formidable abilities.
With deliberate grace, Ygor approached Cornelia, his every movement infused with cautious tenderness. The crackling flames of the fireplace cast a soft, golden glow that danced and flickered, creating a mesmerizing play of light and shadows across the room.
Cornelia placed a soft, crimson blanket on the smooth surface of the wooden table, its vibrant hue contrasting against the rustic backdrop of the cabin. Cornelia's voice resonated with warmth and reassurance as she spoke; her words carrying the echoes of countless months spent mastering witchcraft.
"It's one of the first spells I had to learn as a witch, so don't worry about trying to fit in," Cornelia assured Ygor, her tone comforting like a soft caress.
"Now, tell me what happened," Cornelia gently prompted, her voice a melodic invitation to share their burdens.
Her empathetic eyes fixed upon Ygor and the poor fluffy, eagerly awaiting their tale of woe. The fire crackled and the raindrops tapped against the window, forming a soothing symphony that seemed to draw the elements closer, eager to listen and offer solace.
“Ygor fed fwuffy raw meat, now fwuffy tummy hurts,” Ygor explained.

“Put her on the table!” Cornelia's command sliced through the air, her voice resonating with authority as she directed Ygor to carefully place the injured fluffy on the plush red blanket that adorned the sturdy wooden table.
With eager determination, Wendy scurried towards Cornelia. The little fluffy snatched a flask from a nearby shelf. The green liquid concocted from the nearby river and the roots of an ancient tree glowed inside the flask. The aromatic scent of the potion wafted through the air, mingling with the comforting aroma of burning wood. Ygor's sensitive nose caught a hint of bones in the fragrance, causing him to raise an eyebrow in curiosity.
“Ygor smell bones” said Ygor upon picking up a strange scent coming from the flask.
"It's just the potion, Ygor. You can sit near the bookshelf; I'll handle this," reassured Cornelia as she guided Ygor to a seat beside the collection of well-worn tomes. His heavy footsteps resonated against the wooden floor, creating a gentle vibration that shook the nearby furniture.
Meanwhile, Wendy, her ebony-colored fluff rustling with each hurried step, made her way to the kitchen. The soft tapping of her little legs echoed through the cabin, the sound blending with the crackling fire and the rhythmic pitter-patter of rain against the window. Guided by Cornelia's request, Wendy retrieved a bowl of ash and garlic, their distinct scents mingling in the air, creating a heady mixture of earthiness and protection.
Cornelia's hands moved with practiced precision, like a knife gliding through the cloves of garlic as if guided by an invisible force. With each expert stroke, the pungent aroma of freshly cut garlic permeated the air, mingling with the earthy scent of the wooden table.
Once the garlic lay in neat, small pieces, Cornelia turned her attention to the bowl. She poured the green liquid into its depths, a shimmering cascade that glimmered like emerald flames. As the liquid settled, Cornelia's voice hummed with an incantation, her words carrying the weight of ancient knowledge and power.

Ygor's gaze locked onto Blue, his eyes filled with concern as he witnessed her unconscious. Despite her silent state, his sensitive ears detected faint, almost imperceptible whimpering that tugged at his heartstrings.

“Wemembeh’ jus’ one dwop o’ fwuffy fwend goes fowebah sweepies” Wendy reminded, her voice filled with caution and trepidation. The anticipation was palpable, causing her little legs to tremble with a mixture of anxiety and hope.
“I know, Wendy” Cornelia replied with concern. Slowly, with delicate precision, she reached out and began removing the intricately carved magic runes that encircled the floating bubble. Each rune dislodged weakened the magic, and the room seemed to hold its breath in anticipation.
As the runes dissipated one by one, a single drop from the shimmering green bubble fell into Blue's mouth, like a droplet of life itself. In that fleeting moment, the magic took hold, invigorating her senses and drawing her back from the abyss of unconsciousness. Blue's eyes fluttered open, her vision initially blurry as she adjusted to the renewed world around her. Gradually, the fog lifted, revealing the figure of another fluffy sitting in front of her, a woman with a mysterious allure, half of her face veiled by a cascade of hair, and Ygor, the gentle ogre.

"Mommeh?" Blue's voice trembled with a mixture of longing and confusion, seeking comfort in the familiarity of a mother's embrace.
"No, sorry," Cornelia replied gently, her voice carrying a touch of sympathy. With great care, she cradled Blue in her hands, providing a sense of security and protection.
The cabin enveloped them in a cocoon of warmth and safety, shielding them from the world's uncertainties.
"Let's give you a bath before I return you to Ygor, is that okay?" Cornelia offered, her words laced with kindness and concern. Blue nodded, a silent agreement to the caring gesture that awaited her.

I don't know how easy or hard it is to get an appointment for a diagnosis in the US or UK, but here in Germany it took me roughly 8 months just to get the appointent, because all the psychiatrists who can diagnose ADHD are overstaffed or not accepting new patients.
For months now I have been reading up on the subject, watching all the "How to ADHD" videos, reading the books by Edward Hallowell, John J. Ratey, and most recently now Russell A. Barkley.
However, the chapter 5 "What Will The Evaluation Tell You?" has really deeply unsettled me, because I permanently had the feeling, what if I don't have ADHD after all and I've been kidding myself all along, because I'm so helpless by now.
At the same time, I know that my psychotherapist is 100 percent convinced of the diagnosis and that my parents now also believe that my father passed it on to my sister and me.
For the diagnostic appointment, I also had to look at my elementary school report cards, and there, too, it is written in the third grade in the assessment of my class teacher that I always have difficulties with my attention, make careless mistakes, distract my classmates, chatter and am never really on the point, although she saw a lot of potential in me.
So far in my life (probably because of this) I've always clashed, been bullied heavily in 5th grade through 9th grade, always had trouble concentrating, always had black-outs in exams and no motivation/concentration to do my homework. Do you know these thoughts? Is it normal to doubt yourself and your eventual diagnosis so much and question everything? What can I possibly do between now and the appointment on Friday to calm myself down?

Hi there guys! Came here to ask some stuff my build (recommendations, opinions) and tell you about my (ongoing) journey with the air cooler Dan A4 H2O.
Part list:
Case: Dan A4 H20
Motherboard: AsRock H670M-ITX/ax
CPU: Intel i5-13400F
CPU cooler: stock Intel box cooler
Ram: 2x16gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti LP (placeholder)
SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB
PSU: be quiet! SFX L Power, 80+ Gold, 500W
Case Fans: 2x Arctic F12 PWM PST (set to exhaust)
Temps:
On idle: CPU 40-50 °C , GPU 30 °C
Under load: CPU around 80, GPU 50°C top
The fans on the top really help with the airflow and get the temps down. The RM1 stock cooler does the job, but in my opinion gets pretty loud and obnoxious. The F12's are really quiet, and as the internet says, they're a great and cheap alternative to the Noctua fans.
Temps could be improved, but at the cost of noise. I'm using FanControl to set up the custom fan curves.
Overall Impressions:
The Dan A4 H20 is an amazing case, it feels premium. Nice to build in and intuitive, would really recommend. Everything fits nicely, but the SFX-L PSU has its challenges regarding cable management.
Future plans (and where I'm now asking for your guidance):
I have some upgrades in mind: I've bought a Thermalright CPU Contact Frame from Ali Express, because I've heard it could bring better pressure distribution on the CPU, correct or prevent CPU bend, and, in some cases, improve temps.
Because I don't really like the noise and would seek lower temps overall, I'm thinking of grabbing the Alpenföhn Black Ridge. I'm considering either this or the Noctua NH-L9i-17xx. Both seem to perform roughly the same, but the Black Ridge is a bit cheaper. Which would ultimately be better?
As for the GPU, I've been thinking a lot about what to get, but I've mostly come to the conclusion that the RX 6700 XT is the best candidate. Specifically, the XFX RX 6700 XT SPEEDSTER SWFT 309. It has 12GB of Vram, is better than the RTX 3060 Ti, is sometimes compared to the RTX 3070, is power efficient enough to fit inside the current PSU (I know the recemented wattage is around 600W, but I think it should be fine, furthermore with a slight undervolt - please slap me if the assumption is wrong, do tell if I should get a better PSU). The price is also magnificent, Can't wait for the RX 7700 XT to come out so prices go down even more. Also about the RX 7700 XT - if the offer will be good enough so that it competes, might consider it over the RX 6700 XT.
If you have any suggestions about about anything that could be improved, anything I should not do or any overall tips.
