10gal betta that we’ve had almost two years. Ruby started being lethargic and resting in abnormal spots about 36hr ago and then this morning (6/5) I noticed this weird spot. When I open the top of the tank he still swims up excited for food but when he notices I’m not feeding him he’ll just sink back down and settle. I’m waiting for the fish shop to open soon so that I can take Ruby’s water for testing and hopefully get something to help him feel better.

I feed the other fish flakes and pellets before tossing in a couple frozen blood worm blocks for the bichir, but often times the angels and my gourami demolish them before they can reach the bottom where the bichir can sniff it out.
