I’m tall, I have 3 tattoos I’ve been boxing for almost 2 decades now and I lift weights. I’m a little bit introverted but do have some extroverted tendencies from time to time. I like to read fiction and non-fiction, poetry is among the things I love to write and I’m also really into anime and gaming (PC, PS5 and Switch). I work full-time (from home) and I’m doing a masters on the side, it gets lonely sometimes having such a busy schedule but I always make time for myself and the people close to me. I have a decent commute into work which gives me time to think about stuff - today thought was the Assassins Creed Reveal trailers...
I feel like AC games have some of the best "reveal trailers" hands down....a lot come into mind but I'd have to say one of my favorites is the AC Black Flag reveal trailer. Following VERY close to that trailer is AC Brotherhood trailer. Then AC2 and AC3. Anyone still have a soft spot for the "OG" AC game and that trailer is their favorite?

I'm not the best at souks like games, but it seems I'm a bit better with this one. After someone carried me through Rhom and got armor and material I finally beat Gorefist, those bombs and his sweeping attacks are annoying and in such a tight space. Originally I just followed the line and tried to beat him with my main gear, I kept failing.
Well I finally got to Singe and that only took me 2 tries. The only reason being that I ran out of ammo and forgot i had an ammo box. His battle was soooooooo much easier then Gorefist.
Now I got to the desert area just after the Labryinth and probably will need help again.

People do strange things. POT SD contacting me on Seeking, the right kind of message, had successful arrangements before etc. We were on the same wavelenght, he does not have a photo so I ask for one and he sent over Seeking message promptly.
We then moved on to a messaging app to discuss details.
All well and agreed, sugar talk out of the way etc, just M&G needed.
He then tells me he will message later…then blocks me!
But he hasn’t blocked me on Seeking and he has been online.
C’mon man! I understand you changed your mind, at least say something or go disappear properly.
I thought one of the advantages of sugar dating was to avoid games.

I held down the power button my PC, forcing it to shut down, while the PC was already in the process of being shutdown. It now seems Window is broken, and the PC can't boot properly. When turned on, the PC goes into automatic repair mode, and shortly afterwards, it becomes stuck on the Mobo boot screen (MSI arsenal gaming motherboard) and goes nowhere. Is this fixable?

Got the game when it was free, got platinum + FP since so effectively Anthology + Ceasar and LP and I've been loving the game for 400+ hours. My issue isn't that 2KLauncher hurts my performance too much, it's that, even if I close the game and the launcher, it still runs the game, Discord tells me I can stream it etc. I have to always go into file/app manager to turn it off afterwards.
I've already tried running the game from the folder and it sadly doesn't have all the DLCs/LP/runs the game offline. Is there any way to skip the launcher or fix this relatively unknown issue of mine?

I was one the players who received this but due to not knowing after making a in-game purchase i just had to lose it and now it my biggest DC Regret

This post isn’t in a form of distaste for the game. D4 has been excellent in many ways. However, I do wonder how much extra money they made by dangling an early access date that was on the weekend. I wonder how much extra money they made by doing this.
Now hopefully it makes for a smoother experience for those joining on the 6th. But I have to hand it to them it was a idea they knew would work. I just wonder what the figures are.

One of my squad mates has a weird, intermittent bug. I didn't find anyone else with this issue when googling. My friend is on xBox, I'm on PS5, and our third squad mate is on PC. Issue has only ever happened to the xBox user, and the problem is that the game crashes/restarts when he tries to open the friend/squad menu. He can play fine on his own, but he can't join or start squads. It happened a few weeks back during the Division 2 free weekend, and it happened again today. PC squad mate and I can squad up just fine. xBox mate has tried two different xBoxes, reinstalled the game, using his phone as a hotspot instead of his cabled internet etc etc. We last played roughly 14 hours ago and everything was fine. Any suggestions? It's kinda hard to troubleshoot since it's intermittent and only happens to him. I do have an xBox but I have neither the Game Pass thing for online, nor the game on there so I can't see if I have the same issue at the same time.

What I'm about to say is going to get a bit dark but it feeds into why this game is important to a lot of people in this community from a mental point of view.. If you don't want to read below, the basic point is this:
Comradery creates a sense of Brotherhood regardless of where your from or what your differences are and frankly, we just don't find something like this anymore in many games.These kinds of games create more than just friendships, but lasting memories that bring joy for men and women alike. I can personally speak on a Brotherhood and friendship I have formed with great guys I play with and for the first time in 15 years, I actually found a game I enjoy playing again. Whether it's with friends or strangers, the idea of a "Brotherhood" and bonding with each other made not just between your squad, but you and other squads is a really powerful sensation I feel like we're all missing. Being part of a cohesive, elite unit of 50 guys (and ladies at times) all working together as a team to win is incredible. I would love to go as far as saying that some humanities best side comes out in this kind of environment which I believe says a lot. If you decide to read all this, I really think you'll find the perspective I lay out interesting. But I'm going to warn you, it gets a little dark. I always find the music to helpful in reading this kind of stuff.

In the 31 years of life I've had on this planet, I've seen what war does to people, I've seen (and experienced) some of the worst mental and physical pain imaginable and subsequently fell into depression, addiction as a result of some of the darkest, most cruelest aspects of life I never thought the world could offer 10 years ago. From the screams a Mother makes when her child passes, harrows of opioid addiction all alone in the world trying to survive, hearing your own mother cry in agony from disease and pain, engaged and then cheated on or the relentless rage of an abusive father growing up. Then came homelessness in Chicago in the middle of winter for several years. Despite having a loving Mother and my younger Brother, life--like many of you in the USA and around the world--all have seen in some way how truly painful life becomes becoming an adult and trying to find purpose and meaning. However, one of life's cruelest acts is how painful pure loneliness is when you're broken.

Point is this:

Life has been cruel to all of us in this world and it will carry on. You get use to it but it will always happens in a new way and each time it will sting like it was the first but like before. Just gets easier recovering each time. As we make this tumultuous journey in life and understanding our purpose and meaning in life, we take a moment to play this game where--albeit a videogame--the reality of how we interact together changes compared to reality around us. For instances, that squad lead trying to guide you and your squad to a victory was probably dealing with a horrible breakup you had no idea about. To him, you guys were probably the closest friends he had to him or someone to talk too. You know the brave Commander who stepped up even though no one else would? His Mother may have died a few months back leaving him alone in the world with nothing, debt and a ton of pain as the world swallows him. Probably dealing with emotional pain but sees everyone around him as a friend that he knows will care when he helps and leads you and everyone else to win. You know that medic that could of been any other class instead? He didn't have to play a role to support you or the squad yet he did. He was thinking about himself and found you worth the run across the field of gun fire to pick up. He didn't have to do that yet, in the little free time we get in this cold, lonely world we live in, you were all that mattered to him. Each of you--whether you see it or not--are creating the Brotherhood we as humans are programed to have in our lives.

Final Thoughts

This is the only game I have ever played that has had a community of people in game who actually care about each other regardless where they are from. I know this sounds stupid, but when you're an adult in this cruel world and you feel worthless, lonely and depressed and you have no family or they died and you work your ass off barely make rent only to realize you'll likely never retire, have a family or a loved one, it feels really good hearing a medic come running to save you. I don't know, maybe I'm just overthinking about it, but many games today are very individualistic. This game depends completely on teamwork and the idea of a cohesive team that contains people doing something they enjoy is special. This is where that Brotherhood forms.
