Are his feelings love, compassion, or sympathy? But it's not really like that. Many things are superimposed on each other. He was afraid of the temptations and feelings that came up. He was also grateful that those feelings finally disappeared in the end. Dong-hoon takes the safety of his surroundings very seriously. He has a very strong desire to protect his family. If it is seen as love in a broad sense, it can be said to be love. But it is not the kind of love between the opposite sexes.

When I was still a shipper, I was reluctant to admit how much sense Lee Sun-kyun's words made.
Park Dong-hoon's feelings for Lee Ji-an were merely a result of emotional transference during his low point in life. These emotions were highly unstable, and once Park Dong-hoon's life improved, he would realize that his feelings for Lee Ji-an were just an illusion.
I believe many people have had similar experiences, haven't they? During difficult times, we often seek an escape from reality, searching for a way to alleviate the pressure. At such moments, as long as someone reaches out a helping hand, we might develop feelings for them, but we can't explain the empty nature of these emotions. When the life pressures subside and we reflect on why we developed feelings for that person, the answer becomes obvious—it was because we wanted to escape reality.
Therefore, although before the time-skip we could see that Park Dong-hoon had some interest in Lee Ji-an because she reached out to him during his most challenging moments, this was merely an illusory emotion because we can see that the fact remains that his feelings for her were not strong enough to consider divorcing Kang Yoon-hee.
Hence, after the time-skip, once Park Dong-hoon chose to repair his relationship with Kang Yoon-hee, he let go of that illusory affection for Lee Ji-an.
This is why I believe Lee Sun-kyun's words, spoken during the 2019 Blu-ray director's cut interview, make a lot of sense. Because in the end, Park Dong-hoon indeed appeared to have let go of his illusory feelings for Lee Ji-an and chose to return to his family life.
In the Chinese-speaking world, a middle-aged internet user (male) shared a personal experience similar to the drama. He said his life had many similarities with Park Dong-hoon's—his wife also had an affair, and a person resembling Lee Ji-an appeared during his low point in life. He was torn between his wife and this young girl (who comforted him through an embrace, assuring him that everything would be okay).
However, he ultimately chose to reconcile with his wife, and he used this as an explanation for the final photos of Kang Yoon-hee and Park Ji-seok in My Mister, which was enough proof that Park Dong-hoon did not divorce and was actively working on repairing the relationship with Kang Yoon-hee.
Because some people have experienced similar life developments, I believe Lee Sun-kyun's statement is reasonable and aligns with reality.

The slush sloshed under my feet with each step, giving the dead streets some much-needed sound. As I made my way to the house, a sense of regret took hold. Along with a desire, a desire to have the last bit of my memories come back. Despite everything, the only set of memories I still lacked was where Scott had taken me on the day that started everything.
“Damn Terry, why couldn’t you have just been home?” I grimaced, rubbing my arm at the statement. A quick flash of the USPM Commander knocking me out shook my head. “Why couldn’t I have just…” I sighed, “No…”
I gazed up, snow clouds still looming overhead. I took in a deep breath, releasing it slowly, hearing nothing but the crunching of snow under my feet, reminding me of snapping bones. The thought made my mouth water, “When I finally get out of here, I needa see Rachel.”
“God, this asshole better be home.” I knocked to no response. Twisting the knob, I pushed the door open. Taking a deep breath, I tried to ease my nerves. Focusing on my ears, it didn’t take long for me to hear my heartbeat, then my nervous system, and just before I stepped in, there was a third thing, a writhing inside me.
I pushed the door open, keeping my eyes shut, I listened for any subtle change as I shut the door behind me. I could feel the vibration of the air in my ear canals bringing them to a ring. I took a breath, stepping further in. I side-stepped into the kitchen, flinging my eyelids open. A man stood, holding an extendable baton that made a clicking sound when he pressed a button. Next to him on the counter, a knife block.
Opening a drawer behind me, I pulled out the first thing I touched right as he lunged at me. I blocked the rubber-gripped metal spatula I’d pulled out, “Oh you’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.” I backed into the living room as the man pulled out a second baton.
Then I heard something behind me, I rolled over the couch, getting both men in my line of sight. The throbbing in my side returned, not painful this time, it was invigorating, “Come at me!” The second man pulled out a short sword and I couldn’t help but notice they didn’t have guns.
They charged me from both sides, I held up my left arm to the guy with the short sword, hitting the second guy’s batons to the side and kicking him back. The short sword guy was reeling back for another swing. I lunged back over the couch running to the kitchen, dropping the spatula and ripping a bread and chef’s knife from the knife block. The short sword plunged into my back and I whipped around, slicing the guy with my chef’s knife, slicing open his cheek.
Then, a tasing in my left arm, and I swung, but he knocked the bread knife away with a baton. He reeled back for another shot at me when I swung the chef’s knife as hard as I could down at his left baton. It made a crackling sound and he dropped it, hitting me in the neck with the good one. I fell to a knee, reaching and pulling the sword out of my back. The unarmed man tried to punch me in the face, but I swung the sword wildly and he fell back, waiting for an opening.
The baton guy staggered back just long enough for me to stand back up. I dropped the Chef knife, the pain in my forearm growing too strong as it went through the healing process. I swung at the man with the baton, he jumped back, blocking the blade with his shock stick, which bent before frying just like the last one. He took a couple steps back before turning and running out the door. I turned back, the other man was trying to book it too. I chased him out of the kitchen and tackled him to the floor.
“Look buddy, I’ve had to deal with assholes like you since I got here, so I hope it’s not too much trouble for you to give me just a tad bit of information.” He seized in response, flopping under me like a goldfish. Flipping him over, he was frothing from the mouth, pupils dilated, “God damnit.”
The man convulsed as I pulled his wallet and cell phone from his pockets. Turning the phone on revealed I needed a four-digit pin code, “I hope you were an idiot when you were alive.” I flipped open his wallet, sure enough, his social security card was in there. I checked for the last four digits and dialed them into the phone, unlocking it. “Wow man, wow.” I dropped his wallet on him and staggered to my feet, feeling the hunger take hold again. But looking down at the dead man on the floor, I didn’t wanna take any chances, so I left him be, promising myself I’d get some food soon.
I scrolled through notes, then texts, eventually finding myself at emails. One had stood out to me while scrolling, an exchange with a guy he called, ‘The Jack' from a couple weeks before. They were talking about the revolution, and that, “the men need to be ready in three weeks.”
There was an address that felt vaguely familiar, as well as a bunch of other details about everyone in the rebellion. Basically, a bunch of stuff to make sure there wouldn’t be the issue of a revolution anymore. The wordplay and deceptive speech patterns were just way too familiar, “Make that five, asshole.” I headed out the door, and as I walked, I couldn’t help but notice the car that pulled around a corner a few blocks behind me.
I never looked back, but my ears were too in tune to not notice the consistent crunching of snow and pistons firing. They were quiet for sure, but my paranoia was quieter. I heard them inching ever closer. With each foot gained, I could sense where they were that slight bit better. Every second pumped me with more adrenaline, and when I could see the bumper out of the corner of my eye, I readied myself, that’s when the window rolled down.
“Ahhhh, Joseph, care to take a ride?” The question flung me through a wall.
“Huh?” I looked over, metaphor man held a gun at me.
“It’s been a little while, I thought since you were in the neighborhood, you wouldn’t mind riding around with me for a bit. You know, since you so graciously took me where I needed to go last time.”
I swallowed, “Those aren’t normal bullets.”
He smiled, “Would you like to get in the car?”
I opened the door, sitting patiently, biding my time, until a wide barrel pressed against my neck, angled up. “It’s been a bit, how are you?”
“I’m doing quite well, how’s my spark plug doing?”
“Seen better days.” The suppressor shoved into my neck, “Look, I was kidnapped by Scott.”
“Yes, I’m well aware, but that mess you made, that was far too close of a call, and you didn’t even call us. While you staying alive is important, you aren’t necessary. What about our mystery man?”
“How am I gonna–” The barrel stabbed me, “Sorry, I just, wanted to know who I was. I haven’t figured out who that guy is yet. I thought maybe my memories could give me some insight.” I almost blew a raspberry out of surprise, I couldn’t believe how quickly I came up with it.
“I see, well?”
“Sorry, nothing yet, but I’m sure–”
“How was Scott? Anything you feel you should tell us?”
“It sounds like he’s in with a bunch of other groups in town. Also, any time he’s around, I’m calm, not intentionally or anything though, I just can’t get pissed at him.”
“We’re aware of a couple of other organizations he’s a part of, how many can you be certain of?”
“He told me four when I was locked up, but there’s also this phone.” I pulled it out, typing in the password and pulling up the email, “Sounds like–”
“Hand it back, he’ll look over it.” Doing as he said, we sat in silence for a few minutes.
Then the voice behind me sounded, “Yeah, big raid on the rebellion.” He handed the phone back to me.
“That would be nice for us, if only so many of them weren’t such big parts of this town.” Metaphor man paused, then said, “You were headed there when we picked you up.”
“What of it?”
“I have a proposition. You find a way to end this farce, and you will gain access to the file on your friend, Terry.”
“That’s one hell of a trust violation. How about I just follow through on what I already planned on doing?”
“Call it a hunch. It sounds like you want to get out of this town, whether it be stubbornness or knowing you’ll die the moment you leave, you’ve decided to stay in town despite regaining your memories. How about we leave it at that, you get the revolution you want, as well as some information you need.” He pulled over.
“I can just not read it.”
“I never said you had to, it’s a gift is all.”
“Okay fuckfa–” The barrel hit me so hard my vision faded for a moment.
“Please, we’re all friends here now. Let Joseph go.”
I opened the door, stepping onto the slushy sidewalk.
“Oh, right, before you’re off, be careful with Scott.” I turned to face him as I grabbed the door, “He can pacify people if their emotions aren’t strong enough, so get pissed at him or something along those lines before going down there.” He drove off, leaving the door to slam shut with the speed.
I watched as they turned a corner, nearly skidding out on the slurpie-covered road. Then I looked around, trying to figure out where they’d dropped me off. Soon enough, I noticed the wall, and the vaguely familiar building beside me, everything cleared, and I stomped into the building, keeping everything Scott had done to me at the forefront.
“WHERE’S SCOTT!?” Everyone stopped what they were doing, turning to me.
“Who’s asking?” The man behind the bar counter asked, with a vague sense of familiarity.
“JOSEPH, I was in here the other day! You guys have a snake down here, and I need to have a talk with it!”
“I don’t know a Joseph, but you oughtta be out of here if you’re gonna claim something like that!”
Some of the people nearby stood, approaching me, “I have evidence! Each one of you can look it over while I beat the shit out of Scott if you need!”
“Quiet down.” It pierced through every other sound, like a dog whistle, bypassing everyone’s voices, and silencing them. From the back of the room, I saw the older woman from before coming out from the back room. “Come with me, we should discuss this in private.” Her voice was so crisp, I almost followed her on instinct. Taking a breath, I made my way to her.
The back room wreaked of vodka and body odor. Heading through another door, I found the source of it. Scott sat chained to a table, and they’d apparently given him a bottle of cheap liquor to go to town on, which lay empty beside him.
“What the hell?”
“We can’t get anything out of him, we thought some alcohol would loosen him up, make him more willing to talk. But not even a 5th was enough.”
“So you already know about the raid?”
“Excuse me?”
I looked at Scott, “He goes by ‘The Jack.” I saw Scott’s giggly face falter ever so slightly as he rolled his head around the table. “Said their team needed to be ready in three weeks, that was two weeks ago. Any idea on that?”
“No… We’re all set to leave in two…” She stared hard at Scott, “You will die for this.” Turning back to me, she asked, “How can you be sure it was Scott if they never used his name?”
“Here, just read some of these messages, sounds like a certain fuckhead if you ask me.”
Taking the phone, she scrolled a bit, backing out a few more times to scroll some more. I could see the moment she got to THE email, something behind her eyes cracked, along with the phone. She dropped the now broken phone on the table. “We need to speed up our plans. While we appreciate your help, Joseph, we can take it from here.”
“No.”
She looked at me, indignant, “Oh?”
“I didn’t come to sit on the sidelines, I want out of this shit town too.”
“I’m afraid you can’t help us. Everyone you met the other day has already forgotten who you are, as per you not joining us.”
“Hold the fuck up! What!?”
“I advise you be on your way.” My muscles twitched at the suggestion, “Now!” My body turned to leave.
“You killing him? He’s my brother you know.”
“You want us to let him go?”
“No, I’d rather be sure he’s gone. Not to be a dick, but I don’t think I can take you at your word.”
“We have other intentions, his abilities are too useful to kill him outright.”
“Do you mind giving me a moment then?”
“I’m staying here, but if you want to say goodbye go ahead.”
I walked over to my brother, looking him up and down, “God you’re pathetic. But maybe the next time around, you’ll have a better go of it. Must’ve been hard being raised here by yourself.” I reached into his shirt, ripping the crystal off his neck and pocketing it. “That doesn’t mean you’re not still the worst kind of person.” I turned to leave, “Do whatever you want with him, make sure he regrets his existence for me if you can.
As I stepped out the door, she stopped me, “Hold on. What was that?”
“Family heirloom.”
“Let me see it.”
I took a step back in, holding the glowing crystal out, “Nothing special.”
“Alright, get going then.”
I put the necklace back in my pocket, “When can I expect the revolution? I wanna slip out in the chaos.”
“Four days, if you see any of us fighting anyone, just ignore it, leave town, I don’t want any debts.”
I walked out, muttering to myself, “Could just get the memory of the debt erased.”
I pushed open the door, wiped. Locking it, I made my way through every room, locking every window. Pulling my pillow and blanket into the bathroom and dropping them in the tub, I locked the bathroom door and quickly passed out. The only dreams I had were reforming memories, things like the giant dildo attack, the fight against Takeo, the name that pissed Terry off so much. What happened back then? Why was it such a sore spot?
I shot up, already in fight or flight, looking around, I was still in my bathroom. I let out a sigh, allowing myself to relax. Getting out of the tub, I rubbed my aching side, throwing the pillow and blanket to the side. After some time, I’d thrown them into the wash from all the dried blood I’d rubbed into them, then took a shower, and went to the store for a meal.
Once I’d had some food, the daze I didn’t know I was in passed. I was about halfway home when my brain seemed to boot back up. “How long was I out?” The question made me reach for my phone, only to remember I didn’t have one anymore. “Great, can’t even message metaphor man and tell him I took care of it.” I walked in silence for a few moments, “Why would I want to?”
Turning the corner, my house came into view, and I noticed something weird. My car was parked in front of the house. I sped up, splashing the slushy concrete under me, soaking my shoes. When I got to it, I pulled out my keys, pressed the unlock button on my fob, and sure enough, the lights flashed. I opened it, a phone sat atop an envelope. I picked them up, looking around me, but no one was in sight. I checked behind the Camry, but while there were light tracks, snow from the night before had faintly covered them.
Looking around one more time, I hurried into the house, locking my car with the key fob. My socks and shoes flopped to the floor as I made my way to the couch.
I emptied the contents onto my coffee table. A flash drive, a few hundred bucks, and a note, “We appreciate you going through with your decision to aid us, and in such a timely manner. As thanks, we have left you with your friend ‘Terry’s’ file. As well as a few other items, including your car, we hope for a long-lasting relationship. Don’t forget what you owe us. -The Mechanics”
I threw the money in my wallet, staring at the note, occasionally glancing down at the drive. “Yeah, what I owe you… assholes.” I crumpled the note, tossing it in the trash as I entered the kitchen. I twirled the flash drive in my fingers, leaning against the counter, nothing occupying my mind. I stared at the opposing wall as if it held some deep secret to the universe.
Some time passed with me sitting on the couch, watching tv. At some point, I’d reached into my pocket, feeling the smooth plastic on my fingers. I spun it around in my pocket for an episode or two before standing and heading to my office.
Slipping the drive into the back of my computer, I turned it on and opened the storage device.
There were two folders. One marked Terry, and one named Tresca. I hesitated and clicked on Terry’s folder. There were hundreds of pages, on the main document. I didn’t read all of them, but there were parts I did go through in depth. His history with Maerod, the contract association, the people he’d left behind, the names he’d dropped before starting new lives. Most notably, his past with a woman named “Tresca.”
It didn’t say what she was; but made it very clear she had an extremely fragile soul, even weaker than a human. He took her in one day, and eventually, grew a fondness for her. Some time passed and he decided to give up contract killing for her. But when he confronted Maerod to tell her he was giving it up, she warped his memories, twisting his love into hatred of Tresca. She’d used an ability not unlike Smudge’s to do it.
When he came home later that day, he put a tentacle through Tresca’s head and threw her body outside where it got ravaged by wolves later that night. Over time, and with him choosing to live secluded from the world, keeping to himself in the cabin he’d made in the woods, the memories would return to him. He’d remember all the happiness he’d held with Tresca, and eventually moved into civilization, using some of the contacts he’d made previously to move into an apartment and eventually make enough money to buy the entire complex.
A few years later, he picked up a new name and decided to settle down. But when he didn’t have anything to do, his mind would return to the person he shouldn’t have killed. He used every possible thing to distract himself, from drinking to hobbies, when he wasn’t capturing atypicals for FetchQuest, he was doing what he could to forget. Eventually, he picked up drawing, taking to the art style of his favorite medium of entertainment. This eventually led to painting, but for a reason unspecified, he gave up art as a whole not long after.
That’s around where I came into the picture, so that’s where I stopped. I sat there afterward, processing the details I’d gleamed. I shook my head in disgust with myself. But there was still that tinge of curiosity perched in the center of my mind. “What about Tresca’s side?”
After grabbing a glass of water, I sat back down, closed Terry’s document, and hit back on the folder. I stared at the second name. Double-clicking the folder revealed several documents. I leaned back, sipping from my glass, mind empty. I swirled the water around, staring at the blank ceiling.
“What haven’t I done yet?” A dry chuckle pushed out of me. Leaning forward, I downed the glass of water, grabbed a bottle of whiskey, and opened the document.
I avoided all the pages that didn’t involve Terry, it felt the least disrespectful between that and reading everything. But in all honesty, it’s because I didn’t really care about her, I wanted to know why the file was on the drive.
She’d come across his cabin one day, apparently running from something that I didn’t have the context for. She hid there, and when the people showed up, Terry, or Kenet at the time, came home shortly thereafter. They were disposed of when they attacked him, and soon enough Terry found the woman hiding out. They talked about what she’d been through and he offered to let her stay with him until everyone thought she was dead. Terry never really minded people, but he had to eat human children to survive, so he was despised by any people that knew about him.
The strange thing was, she never minded that aspect of him, and she never went insane. He wasn’t sure why, but eventually, it passed him by. As time went on, they forgot about their deal and she stayed with him on a permanent basis, learning to hunt and survive on her own when he went on his trips, a word he used so she wouldn’t know he was killing people. She found out one day while cleaning the cabin when she found his pile of contracts stashed away. But it didn’t change anything, and she never told him.
She read books in her spare time, going into the city to buy new ones every so often when she ran out of stuff to do. Eventually, Terry started reading some of them. They’d discuss the stories day in and day out, and Terry progressively took fewer and fewer contracts, thinking up countless ways to spend more time with her. They ended up getting into board games and even manage to jimmy rig a tv using a generator and a VCR. They’d spend days with each other, and when the time came, Kenet gave up his old name and told Maerod he was giving up contract killing. Which is where her story ended.
By the time I’d finished reading, the bottle of whiskey was empty beside me. I rubbed my temples. My brain holding loose connections it didn’t know what to do with. I wanted to see Terry again, but something made me nervous. It wasn’t the murders, not even killing Tresca, but I couldn’t tell what. Something about her felt… familiar to an extent.
I stood from my seat, crossed my arms, and looked around, “Guess I should start packing?” I shut my computer off, pulled the drive out of my computer, and took it to the kitchen where I smashed it to fragments with a meat tenderizer.
The day of the revolution had come, and I was squeezing the last of my stuff into the trunk. Heading back into the house for the last time, I looked back at my car, cringing when I saw my pc in the back seat.
I looked around, seeing if I’d missed anything I wanted to keep around, my eyes eventually falling on the business card on the ground. Walking over to it, I picked it up, “The Remnants of the Crystal Age.” I flipped it in my hand a few times, sliding it into my overflowing wallet.
“Maybe later.”
I walked about, just kinda looking at everything. My eyes passed over the painting I’d seen one night. Despite all the memories that had returned, I could only remember seeing the three figures in that office one other time, the night I was kidnapped, which started this whole crazy shitshow. I smirked to myself, a tear forming. “This really is it huh? I don’t even know how things are gonna go down when I see him again. Will he even be home?” I rubbed the wall, “Maybe I’ll have to take another road.” I turned my head around, staring at the door.
Leaving the house behind, I pulled the key from my chain, looking down at it, then into the sky as I tossed it off to my side.
Snow had already started falling, “Damn.”
Sitting in my car, I checked my phone, “8:13 pm.” An explosion triggered the first siren. I took a deep breath, backing out of the driveway.

Starting off with Death Rides a Horse a tale of revenge , this will be a theme in the next movie and that is what you call forshadowing. They killed his family now John Phillip Law has to kill them with the help of Lee Van Cliff, you will hear this again. Finishing off the night with For a Few Dollars More. The second movie in the man with no name trilogy. Clint Eastwood plays a bounty hunter looking for some bad dudes and Klaus Kinski. Lee Van Cleef acts a backup and surprise, surprise the bad guy killed his daughter and he needs to get revenge. The soundtrack for both movies was done my Ennio Morricone, so expect great tunes with your violence.

BOYNEXTDOOR is a brand-new 6 member boygroup debuted on May 30th under KOZ Entertainment, a company headed up by Zico and that falls under the HYBE Umbrella.
Let’s start with some stuff we know about the members! Fair warning, we still don’t know everyone’s positions (or know if we ever will) and new info comes out all the time! We’ll go in age order.
Sungho: Real name Park Sungho, he was born on September 4th, 2003. He seems to be the group’s Main Vocalist. KOZ wasn’t his first company though, he’s a former Pledis trainee. He is the member who’s been at KOZ for the longest period of time. Sungho is an extrovert (ENTJ) despite having the most “Introvert” face I’ve ever seen in my entire life. He says that his charming points are his broad shoulders and clear skin, and that he’s jealous of how good Jaehyun is at leadership and wants to be more like him in that respect. He speaks only Korean, but seems to understand a bit of English! He says that he is the group’s energizer, and that he enjoys planning ahead. He is continuously the Most Shocked Member when he sees their viewership on WeVerse lives (recently it surpassed 100K).
Riwoo: Real name Lee Sanghyeok, he was born on October 22nd, 2003, and he is visibly the shortest member of the group. He appears to be the group’s Main Dancer. We don’t have much info on when he joined KOZ, to my knowledge. He enjoys dancing and says that he’s very confident in his skills and thinks he’s really cool when he dances. He speaks almost exclusively Korean, though seems to understand some basic English. The other members mentioned that when he doesn’t understand a question in English, he’ll simply say “yes” and laugh. He then immediately demonstrated that this is in fact exactly what he does. He’s apparently said he’s close with Trendz’s Yoonwoo, and that prior to shooting for their debut album he had never pet a cat. He is also very flexible.
Jaehyun: Real name Myung Jaehyun, he was born on December 4th, 2003. He is the group’s leader and Main Rapper. He lived abroad for a time, and as a result speaks Korean and English (I don’t think he’s fluent? But he understands and speaks decently well). He claims he’s the mood-maker of the group. He is an Ex-YG trainee and seems to have personal(?) ties with iKon’s Bobby and the YGX dance crew. Jaehyun also seems to have the most confusingly familiar face ever. Nobody can agree abt who this mf looks like. Going onto tiktok is like a game of “Who’s the lookalike today?” As of right now, the list of idols/musicians he reminds people of includes, but is not limited to, Heeseung (Enhypen), Hongjoong (Ateez), Jungkook (BTS), Lee Seunggi, Karina (Aespa), Bobby (iKon, easily the winner imo), Lisa (Blackpink), like 3 members of The Boyz, Hyunsuk (CIX), and Joshua (Seventeen). This isn’t even all of them, it’s just the ones I remember. Jaehyun also has writing credits on 2 of the debut songs. He has been with KOZ for the shortest time of all the members, potentially joining as recently as November of last year.
Taesan: Real name Han Dongmin, born August 10th, 2004. He seems to be both a rapper and vocalist for the group, and has said he’s an all-rounder. Along with Jaehyun, Taesan has writing credits on their debut. He’s a shy person and an introvert, and thought Leehan was rlly weird for approaching him at first. He was a Source Music trainee for like 5 years prior to joining KOZ. The other members have said that Taesan is really quick-witted, and usually the first one to catch onto pranks. Taesan enjoys customizing and making his own clothes and accessories, and he’s close with Hong Sungmin of Fantasy Boys fame. He has also discouraged solo stanning and responds to comments about only liking him with “Please love all six of us!” He seems to be the tallest member at the moment, and refers to himself as Giant Mountain. His stage name was chosen because his dad always wanted a son named Han Taesan.
Leehan: Real name Kim Donghyun, born October 20th, 2004. He is one of the group’s vocalists. His nickname amongst fans is Prince Leehan, and the members call him Princess Leehan. He says his charming point is his sparkling eyes. Leehan’s main hobby is raising fish, and one of his other hobbies is tank decoration and customization. He enjoys making even typical rocks look extraordinary in a tank. He purposefully themed almost his entire debut persona around fish and being hot. He doesn’t speak much of any English, and when being spoken to in English his posture gets better and he holds his hands clasped in front of him, as politely as he can. He also loves gummies and said if you want to be his friend, just give him gummies.
Woonhak: Real name Kim Woonhak, born on November 29th, 2006. He’s another all-rounder for the group, and has labeled himself their promoter and greatly enjoys promoting the group and their music. Like Jaehyun and Taesan, he has writing credits on their debut songs. He says he loves it when people smile at him, and that if someone does he’s immediately on their side, and he considers one of his strengths to be making people feel happy. A flaw of his is that he has no flaws. He is also the first male ‘06 liner to debut in Kpop.
Now for some general things about the group that we’ve learned from the members and fans that’ve seen and met them:
-A large portion of their training was centered around learning how to make music and produce their own songs
-They were allowed to choose the direction their debut went in within their concept. They chose the easy-listening, upbeat route, and Zico and his producers accommodated that
-Their staff and Zico seem to spend a lot of time hyping them up and telling them to be confident
-Zico did not attend their debut showcase, but he attended their first-ever music show performance and gave them pointers. According to fans who could hear him, he kept assuring them they were doing great and telling them to just have fun, and that he had faith in their talents and uniqueness
-The members all think Riwoo is really cool and that his high kick only gets better and better the more he does it
-Jaehyun and the group’s manager do Aegyo to each other over the phone
-Sungho is the only member whose favorite debut song is One and Only. Taesan and Woonhak chose Serenade as their favorite, and Jaehyun, Riwoo and Leehan all chose But I Like You as their favorite.

then come s2 when I heasee grant is married with a son named “lincoln lee wilson,” I was immediately like, “omg grant and yeet fell in love and got married just like high school sweethearts darryl and carol amazing etc”
but nah it’s some dude named marco and yeet’s last name is spelled “bigley” ????
jokes aside, I think it makes sense that grant and yeet didn’t marry and have link together. grant had the classic, coming of age baby gay experience: the first big crush you decide to take a chance on, the feeling nervous and anxious that not only might they not reciprocate but that they might not even be gay AND that it might ruin everything, the bittersweetness of unrequited feelings in an irrevocably important childhood friendship… anyway

Chapter 27
Reunited
Part 4
Alan watched his tired daughter stare at her eggs. It was just a day after the run in with Psy-Ko and Sindri and he could tell she was still blaming herself.
“Hey, only Parker is allowed to be that gloomy.” Alan said.
Anna looked up and gave a weak smile. “Sorry, it’s just that it still doesn’t feel real.”
Alan sighed and walked over to her, picked her up by her shoulders and hugged her. “Time to find a new focus.”
“Like Zuko did?” Anna asked.
“Like Zuko.” Alan nodded.
“Can I help with the animals here?” Anna asked. “You know, while we’re both here.”
Alan laughed, “We’ll talk to Henry.”
Anna smiled.
“But what comes after?” Alan asked. “You know I can’t just bolt off, I gotta actually do a bit of work.”
“So do I!” Anna reminded him with a shake of her head that reminded him far to much of her mother.
“That’s right.” Alan smiled. “So what’s gonna be your first act?”
“Save G’kar and Londo.” Anna smiled.
Alan gave a deep resounding sigh.
“What?” Anna asked as she finally began to dig into her breakfast.
“I’m sure Wraith and Perfection have told you mortals don’t have ‘fate’...” Alan said, “But the simple fact is that most mortals tend towards the selfless when it comes down to it. They’d rather see others rise above them and survive. They will sacrifice themselves to save the many.”
“Is this about them or everyone?” Anna asked.
“A bit of both. People aren’t inherently good or evil, but we protect those we care about. That’s what those two always do.” Alan sighed. “I’ve saved them once with a decent outcome, but it’s always their deaths that bring a better age.”
Anna sniffled, “Why?”
“Because they are remembered at a better value than they ever felt they had given.” Alan gave a bitter laugh. “Especially Londo, his self loathing is legendary by now. He knows what’s coming Anna. Everytime he knows.”
Anna was lightly sobbing. “It’s not fair.”
“Being a hero rarely is.” Alan said as rubbed his daughter’s back to comfort her.
“At least I can watch out for them.” Anna nodded. “Make it easier?”
“Is that a question?” Alan asked.
Anna shook her head. “I’ll make it easier for those like them, maybe work with Wraith to find a reaper of heroes.”
Alan smiled as he went back to his breakfast.

A few hours later Alan and Anna were checking on the pachycephalosaurus families. The camp had two families in the same track of land. They milled around with the brachiosaurus herd often but could also be found competing when separate from the other species. That was what they were doing now.
Anna watched as the dinosaurs would mock charge each other and then swing their skulls rather than fully charge each other. It kept them safe and let them practice. There were thirteen total pachys, most were fully grown with the pairs now guarding their nests and a few of the younger ones competing for mating.
“Bunch of butt-heads.” Alan sighed as he leaned back in the driver’s seat of their jeep. “I prefer the stygimolochs.”
“Didn’t Dr. Wu say you keep getting put in the hospital by them?” Anna asked as she put her binoculars down to look at her father.
“They got spirit.” Alan grinned.
Anna rolled her eyes.
“They are not simple.” Rio said with a smile. “They compete for more than just mating.”
Anna looked at Rio. “You want to find one like you.”
Rio nodded. “Pokemon, it seems, are unique.”
“Oh wait till you meet a digimon.” Alan laughed.
“Digimon?” Anna asked.
“Digital Monsters.” Alan smirked, “They are the champions.”
Anna squinted at her father, sensing one of his hidden jokes.
“Digital Life forms that can bond with humans. They’re typically a lot more powerful than pokemon, but I wouldn’t put money on any of them against any of the legendaries of the pokemon, let alone the mythical ones.” Alan explained. “But they can get ridiculous in theory.”
“Quain.” Dr. Grant’s voice came over the radio. “Unfriendly guests coming from your direction. Looks like the Red Runners.”
“Red Runners?” Anna asked.
“Poachers.” Alan sighed as he put the jeep into gear and picked up the radio. “Give me the deets.”
“THEY HURT BUMPY!” Ben’s voice raged over the coms.
Immediately Alan and Anna focused on the mountain of rage that they felt nearby. Rio merely got out and ran towards it. The jeep followed, not even a moment behind. They burst from the woodline to see Ben holding Bumpy’s side. Nearby another Ankylosaur was being prodded into a red and black storage unit.
Alan slammed on his breaks. “Anna take care of the bad guys, I gotta save the Bumpster.”
Anna stepped out of the jeep and focused. Two balls of fire appeared in her hands as she walked forward.
“Boss...” A mercenary called as he raised a rifle at Anna.
“Well shoot her!” A man called from the cab.
The mercenary fired off multiple rounds that turned to ash as Anna raised a barrier of red and black. Anna moved forward and Hong Long sprang forward, he tore into the tires of the cab of the vehicle. The front axel was soon separated from the cab.
“SHOOT HER!” The man inside screamed
The mercenary could only stare in terror as Anna stood in front him, despite having a good foot and a half over her in height he could only raise his hands in surrender.
“Sit down.” Anna growled as the men that had been prodding the ankylosaur stopped and moved forward to her.
The man sat down and tossed his rifle away.
His allies ran at Anna and swung their dino-prods. She dodged backwards using the two orbs of fire to provide her a boost to her movement. The fire caught both men on their pants legs and they quickly dropped to the ground and began to roll to put the fire out.
Anna turned to their leader who was now in a very crushed cab that Hong Long had coiled around. The dragon had ensured the man was still alive, just unable to escape. Anna walked up and peered inside, a gunshot rang out and hit her barriers.
“I can kill you with my brain, you moron.” Anna said flatly. “Good aim though.”
“Fuck, another freak.” The man groaned.
“Yeah. I’d advise you to stop hurting dinosaurs.” Anna smiled with a false kindness.
Ben walked up to the other side of the cab and reached into it and pulled the man through the broken window. Anna didn’t see what happened immediately after but heard a series of punches and kicks from the survival expert. Then Ben was back at Bumpy’s side, hugging her head as her father helped the animal up to her legs.
The second ankylosaur then nuzzled up to Bumpy.
“Aww.” Ben smiled. “I’m glad you got a fella.” Ben patted Bumpy on the head and watched the pair wander off.
“You gonna cry?” Alan handed Ben a tissue.
“Already am.” Ben took it and blew his nose.
Alan reached up and tousled the taller man’s hair. “You’re a good kid.”
“I’m almost thirty.” Ben laughed.
Alan sighed, “And I’m endlessly old.”
“Hey that’s my line!” Anna shouted as she went around the cab to see the leader’s bloodied face. She simply nodded and levitated him to his underlings.
“Red Runners seem a bit light today.” Alan said as he turned and crouched by the leader. “Bit low on the recruitment drive?”
“You fuckign freaks.” The man groaned.
“Yeah, us fucking freaks.” Alan smiled. “Remember that.” He slammed his fist directly into the man’s skull. “You know, if you can through the cranial trauma.” He stood up and dusted himself off, then looked at the truck.
Hong Long was bust coiling over the entire structure as Anna clapped and guided him.
“We were gonna need that for evidence.” Alan sighed.
“Oh.” Anna winced. “Right.”
“Eh, it’ll still work.” Alan shrugged. “I’ll just say the pachys got it.”
“Does anyone ever believe that story?” Ben asked.
“They don’t have to.” Alan smiled. “They just need to put it as the official story because no one will believe the real one.”

The days passed, Anna would help her father and Ben or Darius or even Dr. Wu. Then one day, nearly a week in, Ben and Darius were leading Anna and her father to their cafeteria. Alan was smiling, and shaking his head. Inside the cafeteria were four new people, two couples. Alan merely waved. A tall asian man stood up and pointed.
“She’s here!” He smiled.
“Yes, she’s here.” Alan smiled as she patted Anna’s back. “Anna, this is the rest of the Camp Cretaceous Six, guys this is my daughter Anna.”
“You have amazing hair!” A curvy woman with a floral blouse and medium wavy hair nearly squealed.
“Down Sammie.” A taller middle eastern looking woman sighed as she calmly pulled the other woman to her seat and cuddled her.
“I really don’t” Anna laughed, “It just looks amazing because I have to wash it so often.”
“Hey.” A blond woman with pink highlights waved. “I’m Brooklynn and this tall drink of silly, is Kenji. That’s Yaz and Sammie. Your dad had drowned us with stories of you.”
Anna blushed.
“Should we get Rio?” Ben asked.
“She is on her way.” Alan smiled.
“Is Rio Anna’s pet?” Sammie asked as she seemed to vibrate where she sat.
“You have a lot of energy.” Anna laughed.
“I do.” Sammie laughed. “It keeps us going.” Sammie hugged Yaz.
“And she out competes the kids.” Yaz laughed.
“Yeah, which is impressive.” Kenji nodded.
Rio then walked in behind Anna.
“Oh, blue dog person.” Brooklyn said as she put her phone away. “Not an article I need to write.”
“She’s a pokemon.” Alan sighed. “Like those monster raising games.”
“Suromon?” Yaz asked. “Toby loves that game.”
“Kinda, but this is more prevalent in the multiverse.” Alan sighed.
“Why?” Yaz asked, her tone carrying clear offense.
“Pikachu.” Alan sighed. “No I’m not explaining beyond that.”
“Fair.” Yaz shrugged.
“Pikachu is cute.” Anna said, confusion rampant on her face and in her tone.
“They are.” Rio nodded.
“She talks.” Brooklyn blinked. “In our heads.”
“Yes.” Anna nodded. “She’s like an adopted sister mostly. She keeps me safe when I need to focus and she’s a much more competent fighter than I am.”
“Hong Long has me beat.” Rio shrugged.
“Well..” Anna summoned Hong Long forward.
The dragon immediately began to move up to and sniff the new people, coiling around them as he did so. Kenji froze in fear.
“Is this a snake or an illusion?” Kenji asked.
“It’s a lung dragon you doof.” Brooklynn sighed.
Hong Long went up to Brooklynn and nuzzled her.
“Aww, he feels soft.” Brooklyn giggled.
“So, what brings you four up here this time?” Alan laughed.
“Two things.” Brooklyn smiled as she pulled out a book with the Camp Cretaceous logo. “My book is out, you can all have a copy.”
“Oh.” Alan smiled and nodded. “Just the right thickness for the broken nightstand.” He took his copy and got smacked in the head by another copy thrown by Samie. “Ow.” He said, barely registering the impact.
“Sammie, Alan...” Brooklyn sighed.
“So you’re clearly the parent of the group.” Anna laughed.
Brooklyn rolled her eyes and nodded.
“Is that the other bit of news?” Alan asked.
“No.” Brooklynn shook her head.
“Really are sticking to the no kids, aren’t you?” Alan smiled, “Good on ya.”
Brooklynn smiled. “The second reason is the Lockwood foundation is going to be remaking Isla Nublar into another sanctuary.”
Alan looked at her. “Please tell me we aren't repeating history.”
Kenji sighed. “We aren’t. We’re using Mantah Corp security tech combined with Bio-Syn and InGen to make a much easier to manage and control sanctuary. We’re running out of space if you haven’t noticed.”
Alan nodded. “It’s not gonna let up either, not unless someone actually pushes for harsher punishments.”
“Well the good news is the I-Rex siblings have been traced to a lab.” Brooklynn nodded.
“Where?” Alan asked with a glint of malice in his eyes.
“Dunno.” Brooklynn shrugged, “I tend not to get that information nowadays since the last group of scientists were found with their heads twisted one hundred and eighty degrees!” She snapped.
Alan just stared. “Huh, that is odd.” He then opened her book and began to read.
Darius sighed.
“Dad.” Anna huffed and crossed her arms.
“What? Prove it was me.” Alan countered.
Anna glared.
“To quote an annoyingly powerful vampire, I’m not apologizing.” Alan said flatly.
Anna shook her head.
“It’s all right, we’ve had to deal with this multiple times.” Kenji sighed. “And sometimes it actually isn’t him.”
“What?” Anna asked.
“Assassins.” Rio nodded.
“Pretty much.” Kenji nodded to Rio. “Also, am I the only one who wants to pet her?”
Rio’s tail wagged as she sat next to Kenji.
Kenji smiled and began to pat the pokemon.
“She’ll never outgrow pets.” Anna chuckled. “So what has my dad been up to since he came here on his own?”
Brooklynn smiled, “Have a seat.”
“I’m gonna get us some ice-cream.” Alan closed the book. “Who wants what?”
“Oh no.” Darius smiled. “I’ll pick it up.”
“Chocolate dipped banana!” Anna smiled.
“Oh wow, same.” Yaz nodded.
“Third!” Ben raised his hand.
“Banana Split.” Kenji nodded and gave a pair of finger guns.
“Chocolate Shake.” Brooklynn nodded.
“Pepperoni and Onions.” Alan sighed, for my tombstone.”
“This is Ice-cream dad.” Anna snickered.
“Fine, regular sundae.” Alan huffed.
Darius grinned. “Perfect. I’ll be back.”
“Remind me isn’t the closest Ice-Cream place like an hour away?” Kenji asked.
“Darius knows shortcuts.” Ben nodded. “And he’s dating a Food Finder driver.”
“Ah temperature bags.” Booklynn smiled. “Now, onto embarrassing your dad...”
Alan watched his daughter smile at him and decided the blow to his ego was worth it.
Several hours and ice cream treats later the group had shared all their stories of the Islands and of the post islands adventures they had with each other. Most of them from after the islands involved them getting together to bust illegal cloning facilities. Then the group collectively stood up and made their way outside. There they stopped and stared as a dark form floated above them.
Alan took off his sunglasses and glared up at Darkseid.
“Leave us alone!” Anna roared as Hong Long roared forward at Darkseid.
The New God of Evil grinned as he casually slapped the dragon to the ground. Anna went to her knees. She hadn’t had her aura over Hong Long and now she was regretting it.
“Apparently your family does not learn lessons well, Psion.” Darkseid frowned.
“Get inside.” Alan said to the Cretacious six.
None argued as they retreated.
“Stand up.” Alan said as he looked at Anna.
She nodded and forced herself to stand, it was easier than she had expected. Hong Long also got back up and coiled around Anna.
Rio was in a stance charging up an aura sphere.
“Then today is the end...” Darkseid stopped talking as he looked down and saw the curved blade of a scythe going through his torso.
“Today is a day you will leave these two ALONE!” Wraith roared as his form erupted from the shadows behind Darkseid.
The Scion of Death was clearly embracing the concept of his nature. His form was completely skeletal and covered in shadows and black roiling cloth. Claws of bone and limbs of shadow pulled the New God inwards.
“I AM DARKSEID!” Darkseid roared, “AND I...”
“SHUT UP!” Wraith formed two monstrous claws that gagged the New God. “I may not be able to take your life, but you will not violate the balance here!”
Then both were gone as the shadows snapped shut over Darkseid’s form.
“Holy shit.” Anna gasped.
Hong Long let out a confused growl.
“I’m so done with this.” Alan gritted his teeth. “He takes and takes...”
Anna looked at her father, she felt something bright burn deep within him.
“No more.” Alan looked at Anna. “We leave tomorrow.”
Anna nodded. “Give me one more day, please.”
Alan paused and nodded. “What’s your plan?”
Anna smiled, “You’ll see.”
“Why does this keep happening?” Rio asked, “Almost a fight and then nothing.”
“We’re being watched, Rio.” Alan explained, “This is a calm before a very large storm and the Scions do not want it going off just anywhere.”
“The Fifth.” Anna nodded.
“It can take the beating.” Alan nodded.
“The Fifth?” Rio asked.
“The fifth world I ever got dropped in.” Alan explained.
“Where I started my journey.” Anna continued. “It’s coming full circle.”
“I will be there.” Rio nodded. “But what are we doing if we are waiting?”
Anna smiled again. “I want dad to actually have some time with friends.”
Alan tilted his head curiously. Rio did as well.
Hong Long let out a happy howl and a few yips.
“Trust me.” Anna smiled, “I’ve been wanting to try this.”
“Okay, now I’m curious.” Alan laughed.
“Get your grilling gear.” Anna smiled.
“Oh crap, I’m gonna have to kill him if he hurts a dino.” Alan sighed.
“Mr. Vegeta wouldn’t do that.” Rio said.
Alan broke down laughing.
“Rio, he really would.” Anna sighed.
“Is he gone?” Ben called from the cafeteria.
“Yeah, Anticlimactic attempt to threaten us.” Anna shouted.
“Well that sounds boring.” Ben said.
“It is!” Rio huffed.
“I’m also gonna invite one of dad’s friends for a cookout tomorrow.” Anna smiled. “You guys like steak?”
“Vegan.” Brooklynn said.
“I’m down.” Sammie smiled.
“Food.” Kenji smiled and nodded.
“Is this a competitive cook off thing?” Yaz asked.
Anna nodded.
“I want in.” Yaz grinned.
“I’m double down!” Sammie clapped.
Darius sighed, “We’ll have to do this off site.”
“Oh, yeah.” Anna nodded.
Ben was clearly thinking. “I’m more of a burger guy honestly. But I can put ketchup on anything.”
Alan slowly loomed behind Ben.
“He’s doing the scary looking down at me thing isn’t he?” Ben asked without looking.
Anna just nodded. “Don’t joke about using ketchup on steak around him. Vegeta less so.”
Alan put his arm around Ben’s shoulder. “What do we put on steak?”
“Pepper?” Ben asked with a wince.
“Acceptable answer.” Alan growled.

This team cannot unload folks fast enough it seems. They are now looking to potentially move on from LB Isaiah Simmons who in many folks eyes has not lived up to the hype from the draft. WE shall see if they can get anything for him if they do decide to move on. The storyline I am most interested in watching this year here is first how long Kyler Murray will be out and second how rookie QB Clayton Tune is developing. It seems like they took him so they could try out a young QB in the interim while Murray is working his way back. Apparently thus far he has been doing well in OTAs.
Atlanta Falcons:

Team expects TE Kyle Pitts to be ready for season opener
Ditching gradient uniforms and will wear throwbacks 3 times

Not too much news from the Falcons but many will be excited to hear about Kyle Pitts expected to be back for the season opener. Hopefully this is the year he can really break out but a lot will depend on the QB Desmond Ridder actually being able to throw him the ball unlike the past quarterbacks he has had who have not made things easy.
Baltimore Ravens:

WR Zay Flowers is impressing with his route running capabilities early on

Good news here because receiver seems to be a position where the Ravens have struggled to get good production. With new OC Todd Monken that should start to change and with an added emphasis on the passing game it inevitably should change as more throws are made.
Buffalo Bills:

Rumored that QB Josh Allen will be featured on the cover of Madden

Great move here signing Ed Oliver to his extension. He is a key piece of that d-line and helps hold them together. I personally don’t believe they or really any of the other teams that have said they are out on DeAndre Hopkins actually are. To me it appears more to be a message saying they are not going to be paying him the money that WR Odell Beckham got earlier this offseason. Only time will tell. Great news for the team that EDGE Von Miller should be back by the season opener. Personally though I would take my time with him and would be overly cautious to make sure he is fully healthy. Hopefully that is by week 1!
Carolina Panthers:

QB Bryce Young is already impressing with his poise
Plan to use some Deebo Samuel-like packages for WR Laviska Shenault

The hype appears to be real for the Bryce Young but it is what every team says about their rookie quarterback who is a top pick so hard to decipher how folks are actually feeling. I am excited about how Frank Reich will use WR Laviska Shenault because I have always been impressed with his athletic ability and expected him to break out more. It seems this could have been the type of role he has been waiting for.
Chicago Bears:

Have other sites in mind potentially for a new stadium besides Arlington
QB Justin Fields donated $10,000 to the special olympics
WR DJ Moore has been performing well in OTAs
Stadium is at risk after property tax assessment

A lot of news around the future stadium of the Bears. It appeared a couple weeks ago that everything was moving along as planned and no issues had come up. This week there was nothing but concerns and problems. I wonder if these are all real storylines or if it is something they are using to try and negotiate more with the government to get help with the stadium. In more football news is appears that WR DJ Moore and QB Justin Fields are enjoying working together and developing a good connection. This is important to give Fields someone he can trust like he did his receivers at Ohio State.
Cincinnati Bengals:

WR Tyler Boyd feels they one-upped the Chiefs signing Orlando Brown Jr.
DE Sam Hubbard excited for what’s next this season
Will hold joint practices with the Packers

Not too much football news here but they appear to be ready to take on the Chiefs again this year and make a deep playoff run. Also, it appears at this point that the team will keep RB Joe Mixon based on comments from the team and HC Zac Taylor. This offense per usual will be an exciting one to watch.
Cleveland Browns:

Strong possibility that WR DeAndre Hopkins ends up here
- QB Deshaun Watson is working hard to recruit him
DC Jim Schwartz sees a benefit in d-linemen playing fewer snaps to stay fresh
Gained $10.9m in cap space after June 1st release deadline

Good news and good vibes are finally coming out of Cleveland. Feels like it has been while. QB Deshaun Watson appears to be benefitting from having a full offseason and getting work in with his new receivers. He has been pushing hard for Hopkins and the Browns would make sense as a good landing spot for him given the prior relationship Watson and Hopkins had during their time in Houston. I have been pleasantly surprised by how well things appear to be going so far this offseason.
Dallas Cowboys:

Started long-term extension talks with CB Trevon Diggs
WR Antonio Callaway was arrested Saturday in Miami
Micah Parsons is more concerned with making impactful plays on defense
Supposedly out on WR DeAndre Hopkins
RB Tony Pollard is a little ahead of schedule with rehab
Gained $10.9m in cap space after June 1st deadline

Similar to the Bills I don’t think the Cowboys are actually out on Hopkins but probably sending a message that he needs to bring down his asking price. I wonder sometimes if they are still saving room for RB Ezekiel Elliott to come back here and play especially with them gaining the $10.9m in cap space after the deadline. Also, hopefully the team can get something done with CB Trevon Diggs sooner rather than later because he has been an impactful piece on defense despite the big plays he occasionally gives up because he can change a game with one of his interceptions.
Denver Broncos:

HC Sean Payton puts a heavy emphasis on the importance of Guards in the NFL

Not too much news here but they did find their replacement for K Brandon McManus in Elliott Fry. I would say less news from this team this offseason is better because ever since QB Russell Wilson struggled it seemed like the media was out to get him and the team any chance they had. HC Sean Payton must be running a pretty tight ship.
Detroit Lions:

OC Ben Johnson expects offense to take a huge step forward this season
RB Jahymr Gibbs has been standing out in practice running and catching the ball
OT Penei Sewell is embracing leadership role
S Tracy Walker expects to be fully cleared for camp

All good news this week which should be good for morale. Seems they have strung together a couple good weeks during their OTAs. Great to see that RB Jahymr Gibbs is getting some reps in and showcasing his abilities that made the team feel the need to spend a high draft pick on him. Great to see as well that Penei Sewell at the young age of 22 taking on a leadership role and getting good work in as well. With that said OC Ben Johnson could be prepping and is expecting for the offense to have a big year.
Green Bay Packers:

WR Romeo Doubs doesn’t think there will be a regression with QB Jordan Love
OL David Bakhtiari says disrespectful to say they are rebuilding
Will hold joint practices with the Bengals

It appears that it may be a bit tough in the post Aaron Rodgers era as expected. However, it does sound like there is less front office drama now that they are not having to work with him in the offseason. Time will tell whether the drama was more caused by a lack of good communication as Rodgers claimed recently or by the former Packers QB himself.
Houston Texans:

QB CJ Stroud is ahead of where the team expected him to be at this point
RT Tytus Howard is in line for a big extension
Released DT Taylor Stallworth with injury settlement
Will hold joint practices with the Dolphins and Saints

Good news about CJ Stroud but again as I mentioned with Bryce Young it is hard to find a team that drafted a top QB in the draft not raving about their quarterbacks progress at this point. The joint practices they have setup will be great for QB CJ Stroud. The Dolphins and Saints should each have tough defenses this year and will give Stroud a bit better of an idea of what to expect from an NFL defense in a real game.
Indianapolis Colts:

QB Anthony Richardson is looking really good overall
Worked out WR Breshad Perriman

Looks like the Colts are trying to get receiver help but haven’t decided on any yet. This is the team that should go out and get Hopkins. They need a true #1 receiver and Josh Downs while I think he will be really good would benefit from having a big bodied possession type receiver in Hopkins. Also, it would give QB Anthony Richardson more of a safety net in terms of a WR that can help him progress and see things that he may not have picked up on otherwise.
Jacksonville Jaguars:

K Brandon McManus called special teams coach to express interest in the team after being cut
EDGE Josh Allen is the only player under contract not attending voluntary OTAs
Being cautious with WR Calvin Ridley during OTAs
Plan to have a RB committee approach

I am really excited for the Jaguars this season. They are kind of the forgotten team in the NFL most years but appear to be poised to make a deep playoff run this year. WR Calvin Ridley is going to be a huge difference maker this year and should benefit from QB Trevor Lawrence continuing to progress going into his 3rd NFL season.
Kansas City Chiefs:

Wife of Chiefs owner Norma Hunt passed at the age of 85
Supposedly out on WR DeAndre Hopkins
WR Justyn Ross has the trust of QB Patrick Mahomes

Sad news to hear about Norma Hunt’s passing as the whole league mourned and sent their condolences. They are also supposedly out on Hopkins which I believe means they are really saying we need you to come down on price. The Chiefs though per usual have revealed though their secret weapon in WR Justyn Ross who many had forgotten about due to him sitting out with an injury his rookie year. It looks like Ross may be back to prior form when he was making plays at Clemson with Trevor Lawrence.
Las Vegas Raiders:

Open to listening to trade offers for WR Hunter Renfrow
HC Josh McDaniels is not worried about QB Jimmy Garoppolo’s foot surgery

Even though the media and some fans were starting to worry about Jimmy G’s foot surgery it does not appear McDaniels has any worries about him missing time because of it. Will be interesting to see what the team ends up doing with Renfrow with all signs from earlier in the offseason pointing towards a release or trade.
Los Angeles Chargers:

WR Quentin Johnson has been impressive according to teammates Keenan Allen
OT Rashawn Slater is at 100% and has been for quite some time

Not much news here but it was great news to get confirmation from OT Rashawn Slater regarding his health and to hear WR Keenan Allen’s thoughts on rookie WR Quentin Johnson. This team should give us what they think they will every year and go far in the playoff this year.
Los Angeles Rams:

DC Raheem Morris helped save drowning child

Not much news here but signed WR Tyler Johnson who can help them make some big splashy plays on offense. DC Raheem Morris helped saved a drowning child and credited his AED training. Always cool to hear these stories about NFL coaches and players leaping into action to help and save other in the community.
Miami Dolphins:

Hope to sign DT Christian Wilkins to an extension before the season
QB Tua Tagovailoa is completely healthy and showing signs of growth as a leader
Real possibility they end up with RB Dalvin Cook this year
Opted to only use 6 of 10 available days of OTAs
Gained $13.6m in cap space after June 1st deadline
Will hold joint practices with the Texans

This team appears to be click on all levels so far this offseason and there appears to be a lot more good coming with the team working to get a Wilkins extension done before the season and may even still end up with RB Dalvin Cook here soon. Tua being completely healthy at this point doesn’t feel like much of a surprise but it does appear that he is trying to take on more of a leadership role after finding his confidence last year. My main worry though with Tua is that last year he still was very much a rhythm quarterback in my mind so when he got knocked off that rhythm he had some really bad games. However, when he was able to keep in rhythm he at times looked like the best passer in the league. It will be key this offseason now that he knows the offense to be able to play off rhythm when necessary and make those plays that the top quarterbacks in the league make if he wanting to take the next step.
Minnesota Vikings:

Seems that only thing left for RB Dalvin Cook is an announcement of how he will be leaving the team by trade or by getting cut
Head Coach Kevin O’Connell described RB Alexander Mattison as a every down RB
Paid off their debt on stadium 23 years earlier saving taxpayers $226m in interest
Expected that WR Justin Jefferson to be highest paid WR when he signs his extension
Will have joint practices with Tennessee

It appears that the Vikings are in a holding pattern and I imagine are hoping to get a trade package they approve of for RB Dalvin Cook. Sooner or later though it appears that Dalvin Cook will not be with the Vikings this year. Big win though for the fans and locals in Minnesota with the team paying off their stadium early and saving taxpayers a bunch of money. Might get some more buy in from good press like that.
New England Patriots:

QB Mac Jones is aiming to earn the respect of his teammates

Not much news here but it appears things are moving along really well in comparison with last year at this time. QB Mac Jones seems happy and is working hard. It will be tough for this Patriots team with how stacked the division is but maybe a big move to get Hopkins and some improvement from the offense and Mac Jones and who knows they may be right up there with everyone else in the division.
New Orleans Saints:

DE Cam Jordan will play for the team as long as he wants
QB Jameis Winston feels that he is still a starting QB in the league
Excited to WR Michael Thomas to be ready for camp
Will hold joint practices with the Texans
HC Dennis Allen had Jon Gruden attend OTAs in order to aid offense with QB Derek Carr
TE Juwan Johnson has been studying Julian Edelman tape at QB Derek Carr’s urging

Another team where things just seem to be clicking so far is here in New Orleans. QB Derek Carr seems to be doing a good job taking on a leadership role and working with teammates such as TE Juwan Johnson. Things will be going even better if WR Michael Thomas can actually return for camp and find a way to play near a level that he used to. Right now in a wide open NFC South it appears that this team will be the favorites to win it going into the season.
New York Giants:

Did homework on WR DeAndre Hopkins and are now supposedly not interested in pursuing him
Officially added Ryan Cowden as executive advisor the general manager
QB Daniel Jones is ok with rookie center John Michael Schmitz using “dead snap” technique

Not much here which may be a good thing for a New York team to get a break from all the media. This season will be an interesting one with how the team went all in on QB Daniel Jones. It kind of feels like besides the Eagles the rest of the division is up for grabs with no true strong contender emerging yet.
New York Jets:

QB Aaron Rodgers has enjoyed the communication within the organization

The team and Quinnen Williams are not far off in contract talks

Good news on the Quinnen Williams front and in keeping Aaron Rodgers happy. Williams and the team are not far off in contract talks which hopefully means something will get done here very soon. Rodgers has been raving about the Jets communication skills which was his main gripe with the Packers. Now lets just make it clear that he does not need to be pulling the sled.
Philadelphia Eagles:

Team is excited for QB Jalen Hurts to make another huge leap
Offered to trade for QB Russell Wilson but Wilson did not want to play in Philly
DT Jordan Davis broke a blocking sled

Man what a difference one decision can make. Jalen Hurts I imagine would have been in Seattle had the trade happened for Russell Wilson. I bet Eagles fans are happy this didn’t pan out but it does not mean they need to cut Wilson any slack for not wanting to play in Philly if these teams meet in future seasons or end up playing each other in the Super Bowl. Eagles appear setup to be the main threat in the NFC.
Pittsburgh Steelers:

First round pick Broderick Jones getting 1st-team reps at Left Tackle

Not much out of Pittsburgh per usual but the good news is that Broderick Jones is progressing nicely and is already getting 1st-team reps at Left Tackle. I am sure QB Kenny Pickett is pleased with that.
San Francisco 49ers:

S Ji’Ayir Brown is already taking first team reps and has stood out in OTAs
GM John Lynch feels QB Trey Lance has had a really quality offseason
Very encouraged by progress and throwing session QB Brock Purdy had
DL Arik Armstead very excited about adding Javon Hargrave to the group
RB Christian McCaffrey excited to have a full offseason with HC Kyle Shanahan
Plan to make DE Nick Bosa highest paid defensive player

Things are moving along just fine for the 49ers. Exciting to hear that S Ji’Ayir Brown is making good progress and apparently had 4 or 5 interceptions during OTAs. I imagine the team is also very pleased with the progress QB Brock Purdy is making in his recovery from elbow surgery. He appears to be on pace with the original timeline. If this team can figure it out at the QB position they just might be the most complete all around team up there with the Eagles.
Seattle Seahawks:

HC Pete Carroll expects his team to be aggressive when returning kicks and expects more squib kicks to be used
WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been extremely impressive

Gotta love HC Pete Carroll. It seems like so far it has been pretty unanimous that all those that are playing or coaching football do not love the new kickoff rules. I am sure folks will find ways to take advantage of it though. Once again this week WR Jaxon Smith Njigba was impressive and should be establishing himself within that offense. Seahawks could very well be a sleeper team in the NFC that was good last year but that folks are paying a ton of attention to this year.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

Antoine Winfield Jr. is expected to play Free Safety this year
Respect is a key factor in the quarterback battle that is ongoing
WR Chris Godwin feels his explosiveness coming back

This team has all the big name weapons at receiver one could ask for as long as they stay healthy. It was great to hear that Chris Godwin is getting his explosiveness back. Now not surprisingly it comes down to the QB battle and a big part of that is gaining respect from those veteran players and coaches in the building. I still feel like this battle is QB Baker Mayfield’s to lose at this point.
Tennessee Titans:

Longtime executive Bob Hyde passed away
QB Will Levis had a rough week at practice
P Brett Kern announced his retirement
Will have joint practice with Minnesota

Sad news this past week here as well with the passing of Bob Hyde. Also, finally some negative news about one of the Quarterbacks from this year’s draft. Will Levis has been struggling. However, this should not be viewed as a bad sign because every rookie is going to struggle and Levis with his situation has the benefit of time.
Washington Commanders:

The Josh Harris bid after making some changes is inching closer to full approval
CB Emmanuel Forbes has been thriving in the slot
QB Sam Howell has looked the part and is taking command of the offense thus far
OC Eric Bieniemy wants everyone to be like WR Terry McLaurin
Gained $8.37m in cap space after June 1st deadline
Released CB Cameron Dantzler
Releasing G Andrew Norwell once he passes physical

Seems we are inching closer and closer to the Josh Harris Group’s bid being fully accepted by the owners after some minor adjustments. From the actual team and players it sounds like things are going really well and maybe better than a lot of folks expected. CB Emmanuel Forbes has been doing well in the slot and QB Sam Howell is looking the part and taking charge. The Commanders will be a fun team to watch this year and see how they end up when it is all said and done.
Miscellaneous/Other NFL News:

Restaurant of the Week: (Pittsburgh - Burgatory)
Get excited Pittsburgh fans and all folks going to a game here! Burgatory is only a half mile from the stadium and has some of the best food so far from the restaurants that have been featured. One of my personal favorites is the Piggy Butter & Jelly. Yes, that is a burger with peanut butter and jelly on it. Don’t question it just try it. However, if for some reason you do not my other recommendation would be The Triple B which is a Bison, Beer Cheese, and Bacon burger. Hence the name Triple B. You can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu and the important thing though is that you don’t forget to grab a shake as well. My personal favorite is the Oreo Peanut Butter Pie shake. They are open every day starting at 11am and closer at 9pm everyday except for Friday and Saturday when they close at 11pm. Hop on over and enjoy this delicious food when in town for a game!
