Recommendations

Seven Spires is always good. I am not a big fan of live albums but overall I enjoyed the listening, knowing their songs very well. In the song Succumb at 3:17 Adrienne introduces the band members. I remember that same moment in the same song during a recent concert of theirs. The timing chosen for that speech gives me goosebumps. Especially the last sentence: “...and I am Adrienne”, a fraction of a second before the music changes. It’s simply a wonderful detail in their performance.
I already recommended Emetropia on multiple occasions and I do it also with this acoustic EP. Underrated band imho. Go and check their 2022 “Equinox” album because it’s really wow.
Kamelot also released an amazing album last Friday. Not marked as symphonic on MA but could easily be listed there as such.
u/McMetal770
Phantom Elite’s album a couple years ago was one of the most exciting debut albums I’ve heard in a while. This new one isn’t quite as good, but it’s still a really fresh, proggy take on the genre, highly recommended.
Memoir Sonata piqued my interest, too, I’ve only heard a couple tracks so far but it’s solid, if standard, fare.
u/OwainGlyndwr
Raxar is pretty good: they’ve got a nice sound and a good vocalist, so I’d love to see another album with more varied songs and themes, but this was enjoyable.
Emerald Force might be a fake release? It seems like a parody of Twilight Force, all the music has been removed from Spotify/YouTube, and the powermetal comments on the single suggest that it might intentionally have been a gag song.
u/RB181
I don't recommend anything from this list - blame Metal Archives for excluding all the good stuff (IMO). See comment section for releases/recommendations not on the list.

2023.03.26 15:07 LeatherSlight3242 I asked ChatGPT to create a fan-made MMPR episode. Here's what it made:
Title: "The Return of Rita"
Opening scene: The Power Rangers are training in the park when suddenly, a group of Putties attack them. The Rangers quickly morph and begin to fight them off. After defeating the Putties, they hear a familiar voice calling out to them.
Rita Repulsa appears on a nearby rooftop, cackling and taunting the Rangers. The Rangers are surprised to see her, as they thought she had been banished to a distant planet. Rita explains that she has returned with a new plan to conquer Earth.
Act 1: Rita sends down a monster named Scorpina to attack the city. The Power Rangers morph and go to fight her, but they find that she is more powerful than they anticipated. They are forced to retreat, leaving Scorpina to wreak havoc on the city.
Act 2: The Rangers regroup and come up with a plan to defeat Scorpina. They realize that they need to work together and use their individual strengths to take her down. They come up with a plan to distract Scorpina while the Pink and Yellow Rangers use their combined powers to trap her.
Act 3: The plan works, and Scorpina is defeated. However, Rita is not finished yet. She sends down a group of Goldar's and a new monster, the Robo-Knight, to attack the city. The Rangers are outnumbered and outmatched, but they refuse to give up.
Act 4: The Rangers are forced to use all of their powers to defeat the Goldar's and Robo-Knight. It's a tough battle, but the Rangers emerge victorious. With their enemies defeated, the Rangers think that the threat is over.
Act 5: However, Rita has one final trick up her sleeve. She reveals that she has captured the Green Ranger, Tommy, and turned him back into her loyal servant. Tommy appears, under Rita's control, and attacks the Rangers. The Rangers are shocked and saddened to see their friend turned against them.
Epilogue: The episode ends with the Power Rangers vowing to save Tommy and stop Rita's evil plans once and for all. The fate of Earth rests in their hands, and they are ready to face whatever challenges come their way.

2023.03.26 15:06 8Eevert The more I rely on Craft, the less it works for me. Where do I go from here?
Hello Craft reddit,
I’ve been struggling with this for a while. I’m hoping you’ll have ideas to share on what to do.
I’ve been using Craft as a ”second brain” for my research notes since 2021. Just to make sure my problem scenario can make some sense, here’s what my workflow looks like:
1. Raw material collection 📝
- Capture research abstracts / highlights into markdown, create a new document with the article’s title and a date of capture
- Add link from @today to document
- This gives me a trace of what articles I’ve been reading when, and I get a nice index of my findings for each day
2. Refinement and discoverability 🌐🔍
- Link keywords from article, relying on the exact wording that happens to occur in the text
- Write summary for article in @today, linking relevant keywords, choosing ones I think optimize for later rediscoverability
3. Model concepts and their relationships 🔁
- When new concepts that I want to link to come up, I need to ”figure out where to put them” such that the result serves both
- the development of my mental model of these concepts and their relationships
- the immediate linkability-to for this concept, accounting for eg. the specific abbreviation that happens to appear in the text
- the later rediscoverability and navigability of the chosen modeling
- The result looks like eg. [angiotensin-converting enzyme 2] → angiotensin II/ACE2/angiotensin-converting enzyme 2, where
- angiotensin II is a document,
- ACE2 is a group in that document,
- and angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 might be either a block or a group
4. Some practical problems which can be overcome 🤷♂️👨💻
- What if I want to change my modeling?
- Let’s say I want to have all my angiotensin -related concepts under that document instead of parceling some under angiotensin II . I will
- Copy/model the concepts where I want them, in angiotensin
- Go through the ”source” document angiotensin II and all of the groups/blocks there.
- For each group/block, I will link to #deprecated and the desired target
- I will copy a link to the target, then go through each backlink in the group/block, replacing the earlier reference with the new one
- Once the list of backlinks is empty, I can delete the block and continue with the next one; or if there are too many to handle at one go, I will leave the #deprecated notice in place and move on
- Needless to say, that’s a lot of work for what, in the domain model, is actually a really simple refactoring — but it can be done.
- There’s a common failure mode where Craft will seem to operate just fine. I can edit text, create links,
- but if I try to change a block’s formatting, nothing happens.
- At that point I will know that Craft has not actually persisted my recent edits
- To recover, I will need to navigate out of the document, let Craft think for a moment and refresh the document index, then navigate back and redo my work.
- If I navigate out without noticing Craft is failing me, it’s possible I won’t even notice it’s thrown away my edits 🤷♂️
5. The actual problem 🤦♂️💩
- There are many articles — easily tens of articles per day depending on my rate of capture vs. summarization activities
- There are many concepts and subconcepts and their abbreviations and aliases
- Shouldn’t be a problem, right? Computers are pretty good at indexing — one human can’t possibly generate too much content!
- But… when sufficiently many research articles with a specific term in the title appear in the index, Craft can’t find the target concept to link to, unless that concept is its own document.
- Also, Craft appears to unceremoniously omit some things from the index; when I touch a forgotted block, it might get reinserted in the search index, or not.
- As a result, at this moment I can’t link to eg.
- COVID-19 , Long COVID, SARS-CoV-2
- ACE2, or angiotensin II receptor (but angiotensin II receptor antagonist works)
- H3 (but H3R works), or histamine receptor
- autism spectrum disorder (but ASD and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) still work)
- chronic fatigue syndrome or myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (but myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) works)
- …and the list seems to grow every day.
- Admittedly, there’s a workaround: if I know which document the target concept is in, I can
- link to the document
- navigate to the document, find the concept
- copy markdown deeplink
- navigate back
- paste the deeplink to replace the link to the document
- That adds extra work onto the linking process, but is basically doable. It’s just that…
- there have been more and more and more out-of-index blocks, such that I feel like I spend more time on fighting with Craft than on trying to understand what I’m reading
- and the more I need to be navigating between documents while I’m linking, the more often Craft just ends up throwing away my work.
- So, you see—
I’m just so tired of fighting against my tools to get things done.
I know I’m likely to be an extreme outlier in the extent of my use of Craft, and that the people working on it are unlikely to have any interest in putting effort towards fixing these fundamentals. They have their cool new AI widgets to polish.
So, the question is, where do I go from here?
6. My requirements for a second brain 🧠🧐
- UX that is not broken
- Markdown import & export
- Support for rendering images along with the text, as well as capability to attach arbitrary files like PDFs
- Links & backlinks, preferably but not necessarily a network graph view
- First-class capability for ”nesting” content blocks inside other blocks, as well as the ability to deeplink to those— with a functioning autocomplete/search index
- First-class iOS and MacOS support; preferably some way to access content on Windows/share to the web, but those being worse isn’t entirely a dealbreaker
- Shortcuts automation support on both iOS & MacOS, for content capturing
- Content stored on local device, but with reliable cloud sync; not exclusively web-based
- Some plausible way for me to move my boatloads of content over from Craft (and not break all the deeplinks because… most of the value is in the network graph, not the content, and it wouldn’t be feasible to rebuild from the ground up)
Yeah, I know that’s a lot to ask for. Or at least it was last time (circa 2021), when I spent massive amounts of time and energy looking through all the options on the market; neither of which I can spend this time around.
Give it to me straight, doc—just how f✘cked am I?
tl;dr: the more content I have in craft, the more linking between documents breaks down, plus craft keeps throwing away my work 🤦♂️ — please share your top Craft alternatives for second brain shenanigans, thank you very much for any suggestions 🙏

2023.03.26 15:06 sarasmiles08 What’s the best way to set up a property now to go to a child after death of both parents?
My parents own a house in WA state that is designated to go to me in their will. I am an only child, so there’s no concern about splitting it up or fighting over it. I am listed as an account holder on all of their bank accounts to help make that transfer easier. Is there a better way to set up the house to minimize the effort involved to transfer it to me later? Some information: The house currently has a small mortgage of 20% of total value that I could afford to refinance or make payments on. My parents want to set this up to make it as easy as possible for me to manage in the event of their death. Both parents are older but currently very healthy. There is zero concern by any of us regarding fraud, fighting, stealing, etc. They would be happy to add me to the deed, create a trust or Transfer on Death, but looking for the easiest way that also has the least financial burden including taxes.

2023.03.26 15:05 RobotDevil222x3 Reddit Strength - Week 1.3
Welcome to week one of eight of the Reddit Strength program, third pass. I hope you've all been enjoying it so far. If you're brand new to this or missed any previous weeks, this is something you can jump into any given week you don't need to have been there week one for it to work. This strength schedule is designed to help you progress from one weight to the next (if that is what you want, you are of course free to maintain the weights you use as well). There is a #RedditStrength for those interested in joining it.
This is an eight week cycle that repeats. Each time we come around again I'll be looking for a couple newer classes to replace some of the older classes previously used.
Each class will list "light" or "heavy", this is not to be confused with the Light/Medium/Heavy weights instructors ask you to use for each move. What it means is, lets say you normally use 5/10/20 but you are hoping to level up to 10/15/25. When my class says "light" you would use your 10s when the instructor calls for medium weights and when my class says "heavy" you would use your 15s for the same move. This will help us to progress to where the 15s are your new normal.
Monday:
Wednesday:
Friday:
Extra Credit
Benchmark: Every 2 weeks (unless feedback is you'd prefer every 4) we will repeat these classes to measure our progress. Do everything you can in these classes (similar to an FTP test for PZers). You can measure yourself any way that works for you; number of reps, weights used, or just how tired you feel afterwards.
Extra Credit: These are extra classes for those who want more work than the standard schedule. They are also good substitutions if for any reason you don't like a class or instructor on the schedule.
You can stop reading here unless you want to know why I am scheduling what I am scheduling. The basis is a 4 week progression. In each body area we will use light weights for 2 weeks then heavy weights for two weeks per the definition of light and heavy above.
It follows this pattern, aiming for 30-60 minutes a day 3 days a week:
- Round 1 - 2 days light
- Round 2 - 3 days light
- Round 3 - 2 days heavy
- Round 4 - 3 days heavy
Each body area has the schedule staggered, so you're not trying to go all heavy in every area in the same week. This week we have A&S in round 1, C&B in round 4 and G&L in round 3.
Stretching Some have requested stretches to go along with the strength work. I haven't been scheduling them because I tend to do a few of the same ones over and over. Its usually one of these or I am trying out a new one, but use whatever works for you.
Feedback I would love to hear what everyone things. Specifically; Are there any classes you would like me to rotate out (why)? Is this the right amount of strength work for you? Do you have a favorite class you are hoping I work into the mix?

2023.03.26 15:05 DeleriousX Does server control panels affect website speed?
It's time to upgrade my old outdated opencart site and I am looking into improving my site speed while I am at it.
I will go with a very lite OC theme and use openlitespeed. But what about the control panel? Does my choice of control panel affect website speed? On top of my list are Cyberpanel and Directadmin.

2023.03.26 15:05 AutoModerator [Get] Dan Koe – Digital Economics Masters Degree Full Course Download
| Get the course here: https://www.genkicourses.com/product/dan-koe-digital-economics-masters-degree/ Dan Koe – Digital Economics Masters Degree https://preview.redd.it/4w9tt8nthyoa1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=aaacbd9fdb837f07a27a37c49cd406115367f9e4 What You Get Phase 0) Digital Economics 101 The Digital Economics 101 module will open 1 week prior to the cohort start date. This is an onboarding module that will get you up to speed so we can get straight into the material. This will be required to finish before the start date. - Gain a deep understanding of all of the pieces in the digital economy.
- Learn about the future of media and code — the front-end and backend of the internet — so you can focus your efforts.
- Understand digital leverage, distribution, no-code tools, and digital assets so you can take part in the mental & financial wealth transfer.
Phase 1) Creating A Meaningful Niche Every day I hear people going on and on about trying to find their niche.I also hear people talking about how they don’t know how to combine what they love talking about with what will sell. You already have the answer. You just don’t have the clarity. - Develop a long-term strategy to create your own niche — meaning you don’t have to worry about your “competition” playing status games.
- Discover your life’s work, curiosities, and obsessions. I see too many people that are uncertain about this for years.
- Cultivate and turn your vision, goals, and values into a brand that attracts an audience you love interacting with (and that will buy from you, and only you).
Phase 2) Content Strategy There is one thing that separates those who make it in the digital economy and those who don’t.It’s the quality, articulation, and perceived originality of their content. The content you post has to make sense to the people you attract.Everyone has a different voice and tone that they resonate with. That they are congruent with and trust. It has to change their thought patterns or behavior — that’s what makes you memorable. That’s what separates you from the sea of people posting surface-level copy-cat style posts.Example and putting my money where my mouth is: - Become an expert-level speaker or writer on the topics you care about.
- Never run out of content ideas for your posts or promotions (without using content templates — that’s how you stay a commodity).
- Create posts, blogs, tweets, images, and videos that resonate with other’s on a deep level. People will actually ask you how you got so good at what you do.
- Separate yourself from the ocean of B-tier creators that struggle to sell their products, services, andhave their ideas stick in the head of their audience.
- Implement our Epistemic Research Method — which is just a fancy way of saying scientific research method… but it’s for researching your mind to craft brilliant content and product ideas.
Phase 3) Crafting Your Offer Most people are sitting on a goldmine of skills, experience, and knowledge ( that they can use to help people 1-2 steps behind them). That is what people pay for.Considering 95% of the market are beginners… if you are good at something, you can help them get to your level ( no matter how “basic” you think the information is).Do you not watch basic content all day anyway? People don’t want new information, they want to be reminded of what works. - Use our Minimum Viable Offer strategy to start monetizing immediately (and have something to improve over time, rather than procrastinating until it’s perfect).
- Have a strategy for reducing the time you spend working over time (as you build leverage and improve your offer).
- Know how to create your own customers from the audience you are building, instead of “finding” the right customer for your offer.
- Take the guesswork out of building coaching, consulting, or digital product offers.
Phase 4) Marketing Strategy You aren’t making money because you aren’t promoting yourself or your offer. That is literally the only way to make money. Have something desirable and consistently put it in front of peoples’ faces. In Phase 4, I will show you how to systemize, automate, and be consistent with simple promotions. You will be able to make money without having the chance of forgetting to do it (or letting fear of failure get in the way). - Learn to sell on social media, in your writing, and across different platforms.
- Have consistent sales coming in while focusing on your meaningful message (no need to sound salesy all the time).
- Learn advanced automation strategies that you can implement at your own pace, especially once you validate your offer.
Bonus) The Creator Command Center The Creator Command Center is a Notion template that houses all of the systems. This is how you will manage your brand, content, offer creation, marketing strategy, and systemized promotions for consistent sales. Bonus) Live Product Build & Launch In the first Digital Economics Cohort, I built out my course The 2 Hour Writer.I have videos showing how I build it with the strategies in phase 3 and 4.There is a bonus module that shows how I had an $85,000 launch that resulted in my first $100K month.I did this to prove the strategies inside Digital Economics work if you stick to the plan. And, this past Black Friday, I blew my that monthly high out of the water in 4 days. That’s the power of these strategies if you stay consistent with your life’s work. submitted by AutoModerator to GenkiCourses_2023 [link] [comments] |

2023.03.26 15:02 SunnyJim57 WE NEED $20M - where and how do we find it?
With the somewhat surprising "win now with Daniel Jones" FA splurge, we find ourselves with something on the order of $1M-$3M of remaining cap space. The 10 draft picks will cost something on the order of $10M in 2023 cap space according to Sportrac. The amount of available cap space to operate during the year is always uncertain and injury-dependent, but a safe number is again ~$10M.
That's ~$20M needed as of this moment.
How does Schoen get there? Before looking, we can at least acknowledge that this hurdle is not as high as last year and can actually be achieved while making the team stronger.
The easiest and safest way to get there appears to be extending both Dex and Thomas now and restructuring one or both of Lenny and Adoree.
According to OTC, an extension of Thomas and Lawrence would save the team ~$3M & ~$10M respectively this season. Not sure how they get there but I am accepting those numbers for purposes of this discussion.
Restructuring Lenny and Adoree, according to OTC, saves ~$8.5 and ~$5M, respectively, simply by adding a void year to each contract. This seems too simple to be true but I profess no real knowledge of how the salary cap and NFL player contracts works. I'm a litigator, not some goddamn pencil pushing boring contract lawyer.
OTC says an extension of Saquon would save ~$7M this year. Accepting that, coupling a Saquon extension with a Williams-Jackson restructure gets to $20M even if Dex and Thomas can't be reeled in now.
If, however, extensions for Barkley, Thomas and Lawrence prove elusive, then the question of cutting Lenny comes front and center. OTC puts a post-June 1 cut at $18M in cap savings. That's virtually all that is needed. If they felt they needed more, they can save another $2.7M by cutting Darnay Holmes (I am of a belief that this will likely happen regardless of other moves). If they did cut Lenny, despite his injury marred 2022, that leaves a very big hole on an otherwise inadequate D-Line. If no restructurings or cuts are announced before the draft, one can imagine pick 25 going to DT (Breece, Kancey, Smith?) and then Lenny disposed of afterward.
If not Lenny, would Schoen consider cutting Adoree? That seems hard to believe given he is our best corner; but he is and has been oft-injured, and he's not the greatest corner in the league, so maybe. To make that math work, post June 1 cuts of Adoree ($9.5M), Holmes ($2.7M), Peart ($1M), LeMiuex ($1M), Cam Brown ($1M), Coughlin ($1M), Colin Johnson ($1M), etc. could get you there. For all the marginal players listed at $1M of cap savings, they can be replaced (assuming they actually need to be replaced) with rookies at the 2023 NFL minimum salary of $750K. Not a lot of savings of course. Thus, going the Adoree route seems unlikely. However, coupled with a Lenny restructure then more feasible. But again, takes a weak unit and makes it greatly weaker in the short term.
Given the apparent decision to go all in on winning now with Daniel Jones any scenario that includes cutting either or both of Lenny and Adoree seems highly unlikely.
Circling back then, there seems to be only one avenue open for traffic -- extend Barkely and some combination of Thomas and/or The Sexy Man now, and restructure one or both of Lenny and Adoree.
Does anyone see other alternatives I am missing?

2023.03.26 15:02 Windgesang_ Ranking all IS#2 maps
Hey y’all. Just a fun post this time.
Integrated Strategy is my favorite game mode of this game. I legit quit every other gacha games as soon as IS#2 dropped back in July 2022. As IS#3 is on the horizon, I’d like to look back on IS#2
and the billion hours I spent on it like what am I doing with my life and, as you see from the title, to rank all of the IS#2 map, including boss stages and encounter stages, in an order from easiest to hardest.
Now, maps actually change their relative difficulty depends on what relics you have, what playstyle you go for, and occasionally what recruit tickets they throw at you.
Since I can’t create a template on tierlist maker as it will just be a bunch of text anyway (or a very small picture of each map which is hard to see) I guess I’ll just type it out manually here. Hope you remember all of the map’s name!
Just kidding I will post pictures of the maps. But that will bloat up this post a lot so you can see why this is a Part 1. Probably? Maybe by the time I managed to trim this post down by merging all the picture or something I will probably forget to edit this particular part and I will be talking about a Part 2 that will never come. Idk you will soon be able to tell that all of this is literally first draft.
Shit I should stop bloating this post with dumb talk then.
Here we go! All IS2 maps, from easiest to hardest.
Regular reminder that this is a tier list and therefore it’s biased af lmao. (More like this is my "get out of jail" statement, can't fault me for placing the hard map you hate the most on a lower tier now haha
looking forward your comment on my Unending placement).
––––
My assumptions for comparing their difficulty will be as follow:
- no relics
- hard mode difficulty “Calamity Faceoff” (since that’s the only difficulty I play in).
Different hard mode relics usually wouldn’t change the relative difficulty so that’s fine.
And I will shorten the Emergency form to (E). If I meant both the regular map and its emergency version it will be (+E) instead.
––––
“A Date with Slugs” tier
https://imgur.com/a/QJOKJBq Literally the easiest map in the entire mode. It cannot be threatening. Even with Chachek + Imagined (+54% ATK, DEF, HP) it’s still just barely harder than the next tier.
F tier
- Accident, Beast Taming, Gun Salute, Fight to the Death (+E), Destitute Knights (+E), Unequal Split, The Grand Finale, Patrol Squad, Duck Lord’s Play
https://imgur.com/a/9COpvjv - Originally named the “super easy, barely an inconvenience” tier. They are Floor 1 and 2 maps after all. However, you may notice some Emergency version are missing.
D tier
- Accident (E), Beast Taming (E), Gun Salute (E), Unequal Split (E), First Come Last Served, Bound By Self
https://imgur.com/a/65Q1WIq (only 2 images cuz only 2 “new” maps)
While these are harder than F tier (cuz emergency duh), they also
feel much harder than they actually are because of how early they can show up when you have barely any team build up (Have you ever got Bound By Self – Playwright’s 1st encounter – on the very first node of floor 2?). Them dogs in Beast Taming will mow through pretty much any E1 melee ops (some E2 ops even).
Accident is technically not as bad as the rest of this, as there are a notable amount of ops that can tank the archers or kill them fast enough to not overwhelm the medic. But they have to be higher than the above tier because it is still a significant step up from regular Accident. In normal mode, there is not much difference between the regular and the (E) version actually.
Also, for Gun Salute (E), technically just the Chadigan will tank the mortar guy with ease (need constant heal spam tho), making it F tier, but the issue is the RNG spiders, in (E) their death explosion will kill pretty much any ranged units, and you don’t have much space as they have to avoid both Chadigan and the spider and manage aggro away from the mortar boi.
C tier
- Sculptor and Statue, Premiere, With the Crowd, Alpine Visitor, Fireworks Show, Gopnik’s Fist, Surprise Factory, Drone Landing Zone (+E), Absurd Trickeries, Sarkaz Desire
https://imgur.com/a/zbnVbrE These are the opposite of the above tier, where all of these stages listed are way too easy for the floor they appear in.
I first met Sculptor and Statue on its (E) version and not the regular one. I forgot entirely that the pillar can form chokepoints and still won that map leakless even when I had to hold 2 lanes. Note for this map though: the pillar’s ATK is less than the Gargoyle’s HP, meaning it won’t be an insta-kill. You have to lower its HP first before dropping the pillar on them.
Drone Landing Zone (+E) is probably an odd choice here. But as overwhelming as the drone horde looks, it’s fairly simple at its core. The only requirement is not using E1 Steward, Earthspirit, and Podenco as your only anti-air options. You can probably put the (E) version on the next tier.
You may also notice that Sarkaz Desire – a floor 6 map – is here. Again, easy for the floor it appears in. If you got to Floor 6, that means you beat either Phantom or Big Sad Lock (BSL). If you beat Phantom, you will beat Sarkaz Desire, period. Because the only threatening part of this map is the Balloon horde. Or more accurately, killing all of the Balloons on top of your ops and just wiped them with a burst of like a million damage. If you beat BSL, well it depends on if you beat it with a melee team or a ranged team (for obvious reasons).
C+ tier
- First Come Last Served (E), Patrol Squad (E), Justice, Pressing Ahead, Duck Lord’s Party, Unending, Shrouded in Cloud, Theft From Above, Fatal Melodies
https://imgur.com/a/5DEnksu Now we’re at the next level of C tier where they are easier than the floor they appear in, but they are hard enough to not share that tier.
This tier also shares spot with maps that are hard if you lacks a specific functions but is otherwise easy. For example
Justice and Pressing Ahead: 1 non-Charger Vanguard, and a sufficiently tanky 2-blocks unit for Justice specifically, which can be that Vanguard. (Technically you can just get the +DP relics and it’ll also be sufficient, but I banned relics from this tier list lol)
Fatal Melodies: Any medic that isn’t Honeyberry or 3* and lower. Ansel could work with extreme finesses (and prayers).
I also have beaten this map without medics (or with only Ansel as medic) multiple times already. A DPS Ambusher or Dollkeeper on the healing tile will buy you enough time to musical chair the other DPS units to kill the boss. You can even deliberately block him with any weak unit just to stop the DoT for a split second to buy time for Ansel to heal up. Strong duelists like Nearl2 S2 will do wonder. What
doesn’t work is the 3* Medic + Defender combo that usually works in Normal Mode. Both Chadigan and Spot will quickly die to the boss even with Ansel or Hibiscus. (Especially again, I’m not counting any relics for this tier list).
Unending: I heard y’all hate this map. It’s frankly not that hard. There are a lot of units that will help a lot with this map: the classic Defender + Medic, any Trapmasters, Dollkeepers, Ambusher, Decel Binders, Elysium, Roberta, Cliffheart, Gladiia, Red,... anyway the list goes on. And that most of the units I listed are still good in pretty much the other maps. (Cliffheart especially, but I’ll mention her later when it’s time). In IS#2 you also have 2 stun devices to help.
What doesn’t work are Sleep and Freeze user since those
don’t reset the Lancer’s speed. But for Gnosis, his freeze and fragile are probably good enough for you to kill them anyway.
Note that if you’re placing 2 Defenders for this map, place the stronger one on the right, that’s where 3 Lancers Leaders will go to (not at the same time but you know what I mean). Unless you’re sure they can’t survive regardless.
A great thing about this map is that Hard Mode doesn’t change the difficulty that much. Most of lancer’s damage come from their speed, not their ATK. (Which also means that Shamare -50% ATK doesn’t work.)
End point is that you usually have more options than you think and the fact that it appears way at floor 4 means you have times to prepare for it.
B tier
- The Grand Finale (E), A Familiar Face (+E), With the Crowd (E), Reform (+E), Beast Fighting (+E), Premiere (E), Scupltor and Statue (E), Vintage Transport, A Dance Together (+E), Alpine Visitor (E), Bob’s Beers, Surprise Factory (E), Terrifying Legends, Mind the Doors, A Cold Separation
https://imgur.com/a/CewWfTO This tier is a bit crowded but it’s essentially most of the Floor 3 maps. Floor 3 marks the middle tier or “average” difficulty of the mode. Obviously that means most Floor 3 maps will be here.
Some of these maps are also part of the “hard because early” gang. They are in floor 3 itself tho, just pray that you get their (E) version later in the floor.
The 3 boss stages are not necessary harder than Theft From Above and Fatal Melodies. But they don’t have the potential to be easy either. Basically they are… stable(?) in difficulty I guess?
Terrifying Legends is another map that got much harder in Hard Mode because of the stat scaling. The boss hurts because all of the buff stacks multiplicatively. The Hard Mode boost and his own +ATK/ASPD scales together resulting in him destroying most melee units even with healer. You just have to win the DPS race in Hard Mode because he does need ramp up. Or get a total of 4s of hard CC which may or may not be easily available.
B+ tier
- Vintage Transport (E), Knights’ Duel, Fireworks Show (E), Unending (E), Pressing Ahead (E), Traveler From Afar, Disorderly Banquet, Dangers Abound, The Night of Ritual, This Ursus Man
https://imgur.com/a/PqB8FOJ - If you’re playing with Leader Squad, Knights’ Duel is the easiest map in the entire game: just leak them all. Otherwise, it’s relatively hard. The simplest strat is to just leak the axe boi while dealing with the rest of them. Cliffheart and Gladiia in particular can just yoink the archer boi down the hole even before he starts moving. FEater can also yeet him down the hole but requires a bit of finesse.
Unending (E) is a mile (per hour) above regular Unending. The faster speed means more damage, but more importantly it means you have less breaks in-between charge. More damage combines with less breaks means you’re more likely to die to attrition because you can’t heal up your defenders fast enough. Lancers Leaders now 1-shot anyone without immortality, shield, or massive HP/DEF pool like an E2 skill-active Protectors. But Bind, Stun, Dollkeepers, AMB-Ⲭ Ambusher,... still work wonder so it’s still in this tier.
Traveler From Afar regular mode is fairly simple. What you need to worry is the fireball caster and get units that can attack the hovering bois without being distracted (not necessarily Marksman). E2 S2M3 Cliffheart in particular destroys this map. She can yoink caster down the hole and ground all of the hovering boi. She doesn’t prioritize S2 on enemies she’s blocking from her side so it works wonder for prioritizing them. Bottom lane of this map has fairly low traffic, just Chadigan can solo it all the way until the red defender… I think. I never really paid attention to it.
This Ursus Man can be cheesed with AoE silence. Otherwise you need either Reapers, Dollkeepers or some Centurion. There is a spot that is guaranteed safe from Gopnik when he makes his first round: upright of the blue box. This spot is a bit awkward though as sometimes the spider will spawn the thingy away from that tile which let them slip pass, but it’s a great spot regardless.
A tier
- Justice (E), Bob’s Beers (E), Demonic Cage, Shrouded in Cloud (E), The Red Mist (+E), Absurd Trickeries (E), The Night of Ritual (E), From Afar, The Biting Cold (+E), Sarkaz Desire (E)
https://imgur.com/a/rDyBFWu - And here’s the map with the biggest jump from regular mode to Emergency: Justice. Most other (E) maps become hard due to the stats scale turning the regular mobs into a dangerous beasts (Unequal Split, Beast Taming, Grand Finale,...) But Justice makes every mobs stronger and also keeping the Civilians the same stats. Even when you deployed a unit right in front of the red box, the enemies can still take 1 shot toward the Civilians because they spawned inside the red box and can’t be blocked yet. And with the (E) stats they will take less shots to kill the civilians. I hate these damned civilians so much. (I guess a puller will yoink the enemies away from red box so here’s another Cliffheart shill)
Sarkaz Desire is another one with a big jump. Like I said in the normal version, the only challenge of this map is not killing the balloon at the wrong time and have a million damage on your ops combined with a 10 seconds stun. But the (E) version makes their speed fast meaning said challenge is much harder. And the increased stats do make the other mobs more threatening.
Bob’s Beers is also a case of (E) stats turning the regular enemies into beasts, in this case the Brawlers and the regular drones. They are deceptively strong and then any single bomb dropped on your ranged unit means death.
Demonic Cage is uhh, a fairly simple map. But as I said somewhere in the beginning, there are some maps that do change their difficulty based on your playstyle. And mine doesn’t rely too much on strong melee units. The easy strat is to leak the first guy while passively collects DP to instantly deploy a bunch of units with the melee being lasts to draw aggro. It’s probably somewhere around B/B+ tier for other people, or even lower. Cliffheart is also amazing here because she can yoink the ranged enemy away from the ranged tile so you have a much easier time to deal with the rest.
S tier
- Traveler From Afar (E), Dangers Abound (E), From Afar (E), Observation, Ursus Desire, The Point of No Return, All I Ask of You*, Twisted Every Way
https://imgur.com/a/TMqzLe3 I don’t think I need to explain what tier this is. But I do need to explain why some of the (E) stages can match the “boss fight” of this game.
Dangers Abound (E) has
6 Wraith Leaders with about 30000 HP, 1000 DEF, and 50 RES. The Bullies also chonk af but they are blockable while not hurting that much.
Traveler From Afar should also be self-explanatory. The Caster actually chonk af and the hover boi hurts. (But Cliffheart still destroy the top lane of this map. She might have to be worry with the mobs this time though.)
From Afar has the stats scaling to the extreme, +50% ATK (stack multiplicatively with the Hard Mode relic) and +500 DEF (fortunately only add after the Hard Mode relic) from the 5 Heralds which makes the opening harder because of the snipers’ multi-target. If you haven’t killed enough Heralds by the time the elites and singers reach your frontline, it’s going to be a bad time.
Observation is pretty overwhelming at first and still difficult after getting used to it. The singers spam during the middle phase is pretty awful and if you accidentally trigger their passive once, they will shred through your line. Then the Golem spam at the last phase is also awful. Actually not that bad if you have relics.
*read below for more things about All I Ask of You
“Holy shit” tier
- Ursus Desire (E), New Chapter, All I Ask of You*
https://imgur.com/a/JSHJImc Emergency Ursus Desire. Oh boy. 5 UFO drones with 36000 HP, 1600 ATK, 1200 DEF. 4 Shieldguards with 45000 HP, 1300 ATK, 2500 DEF. 4 Demolitionists with 55000 HP, 3500 ATK, 2100 DEF. Even the bottom lane is big pain with the stats-boosted bears and 2-block Raiders spam. If you somehow got Imagined (+10% ATK, HP, DEF), it’s going to be a fu…n time.
New Chapter’s actual boss is the Shaman. But Nightingale will trivialise that right? NOPE there are a billion shaman and their combined arts damage with the death explosion with Playwright’s constant onslaught means without NG S3 your units will die quite quickly (without relics).
Tbh, Playwright alone isn’t that bad. His mass AoE is preventable with the checker-deployment thingy and Nightingale (it is bad in the sense that he pretty much forces a NG on your team or relying on busted relics). Dollkeepers shrug off his -ASPD debuff when swapping back and forth (though only Spectwo is the only frontline that survive the shaman horde for any reasonable amount of time). You don’t even have to spawncamp him and instead burst him down in 2 different intervals (the idea is to avoid his <50% phase as much as you can). There are a bunch of big pp DPS units courtesy of year 3/4 powercreep (and heck even some old units still kinda works) so technically you have options. My dude has 90 RES when below 50% HP though so be careful with arts damage.
*Extra note: if you have Crown or Chachek, All I Ask of You is in this tier as well. BSL's ATK got buffed to the point where you might not be able to set up a squad at all (until 60s in), as they will get wiped. Again, I don't count relics, meaning operators will only have 10% ATK and HP and DEF to protect themselves with.
K that’s it you can now go flame my ranking or me in the comment or something bye.

That’s the power of these strategies if you stay consistent with your life’s work. submitted by AutoModerator to Agency_Navigator_Gadz [link] [comments] |

The
basic rules are (but PLEASE review the full rules):
- You MUST upload a photo of the items you are trading or selling - No stock images or images that are not yours. You can upload images to Imgur and share the link in a comment on this post. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO TRADE OFFERS. Comment with a photo of your item you are offering to trade before private messaging.
- Any very RARE items should have a photo with a handwritten timestamp (your Reddit username and the date handwritten on a piece of paper).
- i.e. "Record Store Days" Vinyl Records, 'Lover' Snow Globe, Signed Items, and Lithographs
- If you are interested in a sale or trade, comment "Sent a private message to you. I accept your listed price or I have X item to trade" so the moderator(s) know who is reaching out to who.
- No "Taking offers" comments - Items being sold must have a clear price. If anyone tries to sell something to you ABOVE their listed price - please let the moderators know.
- If you want to negotiate a lower price or offer something else that is not an ISO, please do so in the comments first.
- Insane price gouging is not allowed.
- If you are unsure about the value of an item, feel free to make a post with the "Fair Trade/Value Question" flair.
- Please edit your comment once you've accepted an offer and tag the user you are selling or trading to.
- No trade or sale sniping - If an offer is accepted, other members should wait 24 hours before commenting to ask if the transaction went through. If two users make the same offer, the person who offered first gets priority.
There are a lot of scammers out there or bad sellers so these rules are in place to help protect the members of this subreddit. There are new members joining every day and some people are completely new to Reddit. No worries if you make some mistakes. PLEASE be wary about selling or trading to
ANYONE who does not want to follow these rules (i.e. not uploading a photo and listing a clear price).

2023.03.26 15:01 Sir_David_Davidson When haters try to knock you down, discourage or hold you back, remember that 'we always condemn most in others, that which we most fear in ourselves.'
Hi, David here!
There will be many barriers to overcome on your journey of self-improvement. You may be surprised to find that lifelong friends may ridicule you and try to hold you back. There are multiple reasons why they may try to do this. Firstly, they may care about you and fear your success because it means that they might lose you from their lives. Another reason is that your actions make them reflect on their own lives.
If you can succeed, then they must consider what this means for them. Rather than serving as an inspiration, you can serve as a reminder of what they too could have achieved if they had chosen to put in the effort.
Try to identify the reasons behind people’s actions before you judge them. In addition, be aware of becoming resentful of your complacent friends who may serve as constant reminders of what you are fighting so hard to escape. As stated by Robert Pirsig:
“We always condemn most in others, that which we most fear in ourselves.” The greatest success barriers will likely come from within you. It is common to commit self-sabotage because success leads to change and change can be scary. This often takes place on a subconscious level, where your brain will rationalize a decision before you can even consciously question it. It is more comfortable to remain in a known space than venture into the unknown.
Your fear of change may cause you to rationalize your limiting beliefs in order to protect yourself and justify inaction. You may believe that if you were to try and fail, then you would only prove to yourself without a doubt that you are not good enough. Thus you put off trying in order to preserve hope and protect the belief that you will succeed in the future.
You must remind yourself that failing does not equate to failure. As long as you keep honestly trying and learning from your mistakes, then you have no other option but to improve. The only true failure is outright choosing inaction.

2023.03.26 15:01 provinzkraut Starlite updates March '22 2.0 is coming
Hello fellow Pythoneers, it's time for me to once more talk about Starlite for a bit!
Recap
What's Starlite?
Starlite is a flexible and highly performant ASGI framework, focused on building APIs while delivering great developer experience by offering ready-built solutions for common tasks such as ORM integration, caching, session management, key/value stores, OpenAPI-schema generation and interactive API docs, type safety and much more.
You can read more about Starlite's features in our
documentation!
So what's new?
Starlite 2.0 on the horizon
It's been over two months since
we announced Starlite 2.0, more as a side note than major news, so it's about time to see how things are going!
Firstly, as with any proper project, there has been a
slight feature creep, and the 2.0 update will be a bit more involved as initially expected. But we have it under control. We can stop at any time. I promise.
Jokes aside, the announcement still holds true: Starlite 2.0 retains most of its core functionality, and from a user perspective, not a lot has to change when upgrading your app from 1.x to 2.0; If you don't want to make use of new features, the upgrade path will mostly consist of changing some import paths and slightly adjusting a few configuration values.
But let's take a look at what has changed, and what is yet to come.
Adieu Pydantic
Starting with the release of 2.0.0alpha1, Starlite replaced most of its internal models that relied on Pydantic (mostly with data- or plain classes). In the following releases leading up to 2.0, we will remove the last dependencies on Pydantic, and you can use Starlite completely Pydantic-free.
But why? The main motivations behind this were performance improvements and flexibility:
Performance Pydantic is a great library, but being fast is not one of its strengths. Its performance will likely increase drastically in version 2.0, with the
core validation logic written in Rust, but early tests indicate that it will likely still be slower than other libraries when it comes to (de)serialization.
In many cases this might not be an issue, but having the option to switch to an alternative if desired is still a valuable option, and can have significant impact on the overall performance of an application.
Flexibility Pydantic is by far not the only library of its kind, with prominent members of the same class being
attrs,
cattrs or even plain
dataclasses for some use cases.
Starlite currently only supports modelling data with Pydantic, which means this will necessarily force an integration of Pydantic into the rest of the application's layers, be it by directly using Pydantic models there, or simply the need of an additional "translation layer".
By removing Starlite's reliance on Pydantic, we're opening doors to a new, more flexible type of integration, which will ultimately allow to plugin in arbitrary modelling libraries.
Does this mean I won't be able to use Starlite with Pydantic anymore? No. Starlite will continue to support Pydantic modelling of any kind, and you'll be able to keep using Pydantic models everywhere you've used them before.
Pydantic will be removed as a core dependency eventually, which means Starlite will be able to run without it, but there are no plans to stop supporting it.
All new DTOs
DTOs will become more integral in Starlite 2.0, taking care of most of the data conversion between various types of models.
This feature is yet to be released, but it will allow you to seamlessly use data modelled with for example Pydantic,
SQLAlchemy,
msgspec or
dataclasses in your route handlers, without the need for an intermediary model; The conversion will be handled by the specific DTO "backend" implementation. This new paradigm also makes it trivial to add support for any such modelling library, by simply implementing an appropriate backend.
emit("We have an event bus now")
Starting with the first alpha release - 2.0.0alpha1 -, Starlite includes a simple event bus that can be used to emit and receive events, supporting both synchronous and asynchronous listeners. Currently only a basic in-memory, per-process backend is included, but future versions will add support for inter-process communication by adding backends for
Redis,
RabbitMQ and others.
This is an exciting new feature, as it allows powerful patterns such as websocket broadcasting, or can, in combination with
background tasks, eliminate the need for external task queues such as
celery or
arq.
Data stores
Another exciting new feature coming in 2.0 are the all new, fully integrated
data stores. They are simple key/value stores, including backends for the file system, memory, or common key/value databases like
Redis.
These stores are managed centrally by a
registry, providing easy configuration, isolation and a hierarchical structure via
namespacing, and integration with third parties such as plugins. Via the registry it's possible to easily access stores used by various built-in features such as rate-limiting or request caching, making them available throughout the entire application context.
What else is new?
To keep this post (relatively) brief I won't mention all the changes going into 2.0, so if you want to know everything that's changed until now, you can take a look at the detailed
2.x changelog, which includes all the currently released changes, features (and bugfixes).
What's left to do
There are a few more things that have to be done before Starlite 2.0 will be released. Yesterday the second alpha version (
2.0.0alpha2) has been released, but it won't be the last development release before 2.0.0.
A few major items on the 2.0 todo-list currently are:
- Finishing new DTO implementation
- New signature modelling backend using attrs
- Remove the remaining parts that rely on Pydantic
- Writing a migration guide for 1.x > 2.0
- Writing tutorials / prose documentation for the SQLAlchemy repository
and of course lots of minor issue that need taking care of.
There is no set release date for 2.0, but as things are currently going, I expect one more alpha release before the first beta version comes out. At this point, no more breaking changes will be introduced, allowing the beta to be tested for a while before it can be considered stable and ready for the final release.
And as always, if you want to get involved or in touch, check out Starlite on
