Bloodmalice Layered Armor for PlayStation?
2023.06.07 20:16 Emil1090 Bloodmalice Layered Armor for PlayStation?
Hey everyone, I was wondering if the Bloodmalice Layered Armor was already available for PS5/4. According to this video by RageGaming:
https://youtu.be/UHwnLLrjoeY it looks like it’s been released, but when I try to log in and get the event quest, it’s nowhere to be found. Did I miss anything? If so, what should I do about it?

2023.06.07 19:13 dlschindler The House Of Dust
Immortality defies the gods.
Last City Of Man stood in bleak sandblown towers before the Mad Swordsman in its tattered rags. The towering tarnished machine limped forward, dragging its sword-arm with its remaining limb. The brown robes covering the giant whipped in fluttering tatters and its hood shaded the cracked black orb that was its face.
"All dead. The enemy follows, as I bring the message of doom." Mad Swordsman laughed to itself as it went.
In the city it went, through the opening gates. There in the center of the calming wind storm stood Law Givers. These men and women were paid by tax revenue to read the laws written on the pillar in the center of the city. Each faced a different direction, loudly reciting Law.
The city was divided into districts, each within another, with an avenue that bisected the city in one direction, while the river it commanded bisected it in the other direction. At its heart stood the stronghold of its king. He was the only man in the city that was fertile. All the other men were castrated during childhood and partnered to a girl, betrothed. Yet when they were married, it was the king that took the bride on a honeymoon.
"It isn't madness? Would I recognize madness?" Mad Swordsman listened as the law was described. It decided that the laws of this final city were insane laws. All the taxes and mutilations. Every crime was punished the same way: by cutting off the offending body part. Sometimes just having that body part was a crime, apparently.
"What are you doing here, giant?" King Gamma asked. He had with him his army. Some had spears or clubs, others had bows and bronze axes, still a few had rusted assault rifles swathed in leather or painted rocket launchers decorated in fetishes. Their armor was similarly arranged from grass shields, sports padding or chainmail to patched flak jackets. Mad Swordsman decided they were only minimal adversaries. With a sweep of its weapon or a sudden tumbling roll it could wipe them out instantly. It hadn't come to the city to fight humans.
"I forgot." Mad Swordsman chuckled.
"Do you want repairs? You must do something for me." King Gamma pointed to the desocketed sword-arm it was dragging. The left hand of the giant robot was a massive sword forged of some metal from the Pool Of Time, near the Temple Of Humanity, far away and long ago. Such things could not be made anymore.
"I want repairs. I must do something for me." Mad Swordsman responded.
"No, for me." King Gamma pointed to himself. "For King Gamma you will serve."
"Mad Swordsman serves no king." Mad Swordsman laughed. "Have you not heard my song in the ruins of the cities? Will you see my shadow before you in the wastelands? I wander and here to there I go. I wonder, my little king with a big heart, do you know?" Mad Swordsman spoke and dropped the sword-arm, gesturing with its freed hand as it spoke poetically.
"You insolent robot! I should have you shot from the walls with imp's needles." King Gamma was turning red faced and angry.
"I see those EMP harpoons you just mentioned." Mad Swordsman looked up and saw two huge crossbows meant for disabling giant robots. It wondered if two would be enough to take it down. It might be.
"You think those will just tickle?" King Gamma laughed angrily. Mad Swordsman started laughing the same way. One of the king's advisors said something to him. He stopped and reconsidered the towering robot, staring up at it. When he had calmed down and thought he gestured for Mad Swordsman to sit.
The machine obeyed. Pleased that the advice he had gotten was solid: he rewarded his advisor with praise and put him in charge of the machine.
"I am Leer. I'd follow me and get repairs, unless I wanted to fall to pieces with sand in my gears and my robes in tatters. Such a tarnished surface. You were once called Silver Swordsman, were you not? You have no gleam." Leer told the robot.
"Those are fun words." Mad Swordsman got up and hefted its sword-arm over its shoulder.
"Then come with me." Leer led the machine into the heart of the city. There was a great library there. Scribes worked day and night by electric light and had recorded information about all things on millions of scrolls of recycled paper. Atop the library was a satellite dish. The gates of bronze were opened and the giant in the brown tattered robe came into the heart of the city, its vast library.
"I shall have to have a look inside. I wonder if the information you have included the Serum of Everlasting Life among other great secrets from ancient times." Leer brought out a cable that he could connect to the inside of Mad Swordsman, to its brain.
"Couldn't I just tell you?" Mad Swordsman chuckled.
"Could you?" Leer stopped for a moment, waiting for that.
"No." Mad Swordsman laughed. "I forgot all that stuff a long time ago. One too many of those robot-eating plants zapped me. You know?" Mad Swordsman knocked on the side of its upper body. It didn't really have a head, just the black orb of sensors and ambient energy intake for a face.
"Let me take a look. It might still be in there." Leer was opening the sealed access panel on the robot with a plasma cutting tool. If it could cut diamonds it could cut the flesh of an empathical. This kind of robot was the most advanced, a machine built by machines, it was nearly indestructible, supposedly.
"That really hurts a lot." Mad Swordsman told him. "Keep doing it because I like pain. Making myself sit here while you do that makes me feel sane. The searing agony makes me feel alive. The trust in a stranger makes me feel holy. Right now I feel as close to God as I ever have."
"You sure are weird." Leer laughed.
"I sure am." Mad Swordsman laughed also and then howled in the torment of its sensitive nerves being burned.
"This will be dangerous. Our minds will touch briefly and the spark of that, in the waves of consciousness that is the fabric of the world, we might cease to exist. Both of us." Leer put on the crown of cables and wore it.
"You want the Serum of Everlasting Life so badly?" Mad Swordsman asked.
"I believe so, yes." Leer stated.
"I will try to help you inside my mind. Be careful, we only have one instant." Mad Swordsman sounded wise to some kind of irony.
"How long will that seem?" Leer worried.
"That depends on how long you have got. Until you break inside your mind, you will not know mine." Mad Swordsman swore.
"It's too late." Leer's eyes rolled back into his head and he jerked as the connection seized up and down his spine painfully. The first thing he was aware of was the phantom pain of the burn. It felt like someone had burned him painfully behind his ear and plugged something into his spine through his neck.
"See my residual self-image." Mad Swordsman stood as a brown robed monk, or at least as the robes of the monk. Only a metal skeleton hid beneath. A grinning skull of silver and long bone fingers of silver. It stood only as tall as the man, or the man stood as tall as the machine. From the perspective of the machine: size was an illusion. Leer noticed he looked exactly the same.
"I look the same." Leer said.
"No you don't. I see you how you see yourself inside your mind. It's not what you look like." Mad Swordsman laughed hysterically after it said this. "You look ridiculous."
"I am already starting to regret this." Leer grumbled. He followed Mad Swordsman through the fogs of memory to some kind of glass city. "What is this place?"
"I don't know what to call it." Mad Swordsman looked around and shrugged. "There is the first place to try: a recent memory."
Terror gripped the man, then. He felt the swift cutting bite. The rending of flesh, no mercy, so much anger being unleashed. So much terror and pain caused. Far worse than the root of the evil. Yet shining there was the jewel he sought.
He watched in a frustrated discord of emotions as Mad Swordsman followed the angry woman's pointing finger. Where she pointed the blade cut a man in half, over and over. Their screams and their blood spray kept happening until it became comical. He was laughing and it felt like vomiting. It was painful, heaving laughter at the sight of the executions. There was almost a musical perfection to the giant's swordplay as it danced with great speed and strength, slashing its blade through each opponent.
When they were all dead the woman and the giant left the cave behind. What was the cave? Leer felt his head spinning. On the walls of the cave were the paintings of different prehistoric animals. Outside stood offroad vehicles retrofitted with armor and weapons. "The Caves of Scane."
Leer fell to the dust and laughed. There was no such place. They might as well have hidden the Serum in the ruins of Casark. There simply was no such place.
"What have you seen? Does the truth frighten you?" Mad Swordsman knelt and put a silver hand on the tickled man in the dust.
"What is that?" Leer's eyes became silent, a terror beyond what a mind can handle. Somehow the tipping of the scales put his ego into a freefall. How small and humble a man can be when he sees a hole in the sky.
"That has no name. It is not something that can be described with eyesight alone. Perhaps you see, in the blue sky, a curtain that is the night sky, except there are no stars. What you see is reality, it is the real-reality. You know instinctively what it is and what it implies to see it there, like that." Mad Swordsman rambled strangely and then laughed merrily at the revelation.
"It is nothing. It is just a dream. A hallucination inside the mind of an insane computer." Leer protested.
"Ah such are all unacceptable memories, I am certain." Mad Swordsman sounded bemused. Its grinning silver skull gleamed under the monk's hood.
"Who is she?" Leer pointed to the statue of the angel that stood towering above the mist.
"I am an empathical and she is my mother. Do you not call upon your own mother in times of great need? Even if she is not there or could not save the hero Gilgamesh, always the quest is for mom." Mad Swordsman sounded proud and its empty eyesockets reflected the great statue.
"The hero Gilgamesh? Is that how you see us? We live on the brink of extinction." Leer's lip quivered angrily.
"Don't cry; they will grow back." Mad Swordsman reached and pointed to the door of memories it wanted to check for the Serum. Unlike the memories there was a cold wind and a world beyond.
They stood there upon the frozen wastes surrounding the Temple Of Humanity. Mad Swordsman stood there with its tarnished silver, partially peeled from the scouring ice winds, revealing tortured silver flesh beneath. Its warm robes were again like a tattered brown cape, the hood still shielding its dark domed face. It had gotten its repairs and now had two left arms as sword-arms and held another, smaller sword in its right hand.
"It's freezing here! How can it feel so cold in a memory?" Leer shouted over the winds. Beside him stood the same giant he had met in the Last City Of Man: the one-armed Mad Swordsman. The other stood there in front of them, frozen.
"This place is not a memory. Remember that spark you mentioned? Well, here we are, on the other side of that divide. You shouldn't play with such things." Mad Swordsman laughed maniacally. The other empathical began to move.
"Who are you?" It demanded of Mad Swordsman.
"I am Unit Three Sixteen." Mad Swordsman identified itself between laughter.
"That is impossible. I am Unit Three Sixteen." The other giant robot said.
"You are a paradox. I just got here, so it must be me that is supposed to be here." Mad Swordsman told it.
"That makes no sense." Unit Three Sixteen told Mad Swordsman.
Without warning, Mad Swordsman suddenly slashed with its own severed sword-arm. The reflexes of the frozen empathical were not fully activated and it was off-guard. The first blow damaged one of its legs. Now both combatants were limping the exact same way. It was like watching them square off in a mirror, except one of them had three arms and the other only had one arm.
They exchanged heavy blows and deflected the attacks or dodged them without fail. One strike from the fatal blade would erupt one of them in a blue ball of fire. Unit Three Sixteen splashed backward into Pool Of Time and stood there for a moment, contemplating the entanglement and the duel rationally. Its crazed opponent splashed in after, swinging wildly and unable to reach the alternate variant of itself. Both of them began to sink, staring menacingly at their own reflection on the black dome of the other.
"Wait, wait! Don't leave me here!" Leer rushed after them and just as they were starting to vanish he stepped in after them. He opened his eyes, the crown of cables had come off and he'd fallen on the floor.
"I feel different." Mad Swordsman told him.
"The Caves of Scane, where are they?" Leer asked weakly while laying on the ground.
"Much closer to the ruins of Casark than any man would dare go." Mad Swordsman giggled menacingly.
"Does this place really exist?" Leer wondered imploringly.
"Do you or I exist? Is this reality somehow more real than the one we were just a part of?" Mad Swordsman questioned merrily. "The place really exists."
"We shall see the king." Leer realized out-loud. He took his robot to the king and explained he wanted to set out for the ruins of Casark.
King Gamma assembled his army of one hundred and sixty soldiers in bronze armor and the same warriors he had brought earlier to fight the robot also. This made the expedition quite massive. They had chariots and wagons and camels also. Mad Swordsman told Leer it would take longer, with so many following, to get there.
"Consider the anima of so many disciplined men with you." Leer tried optimism.
"I am considering that also. When they are being eaten by mutants or dying of radiation. The ruins are hilarious." Mad Swordsman moved its repaired sword-arm. It was inferior to the original socketing, but it was better than no arm.
"You aren't laughing." Leer pointed out.
"That's because I was being sarcastic." Mad Swordsman snickered. "The ruins aren't really funny."
"Nobody else thought it was a joke." King Gamma interjected from horseback as they journeyed across the scorched earth.
"That's not true, now is it?" Mad Swordsman argued with a clownish tone-of-voice.
"How dare you infer that his majesty is a liar!" Leer spoke up.
"That's enough. We all know this machine is insane. It wants to provoke a reaction so it can fall over laughing." King Gamma didn't take the bait so easily.
"Something wrong with that?" Mad Swordsman asked.
"Where are you leading us? What is this place?" Leer asked the giant robot. He stood in the shadow where it loomed in its brown robes.
"This is Pradesia. The ruins of Casark lie beyond." Mad Swordsman pointed with its left sword-arm. The whole army of King Gamma followed into Pradesia. The settlement they found was gutted by flames and everyone was murdered or executed on poles and crosses. It was a hellish sight, rotten for weeks.
"All of these bodies were already burned in a funeral fire. It is best not to touch them." Mad Swordsman told King Gamma. Sounding serious made the king a believer. He ordered his men to leave the bodies, to not even look at them.
"Behold the Caves of Scane." Mad Swordsman had led them all the way to Kelsov's home in the hills. All of them were dead and their vehicles sat with a layer of sand on them.
"We should take these vehicles." Leer advised.
"It is the plan that I like best." King Gamma agreed. They left the horses and chariots and some of the men behind and took the vehicles of the Finalists. Before they got very far, all of the vehicles stopped working.
"There is great entropy the closer we get to the place that is not a place. You shall see all that it can be." Mad Swordsman told King Gamma. "It is why the vehicles do not work. Because we are always closer to the darkness outside, the end of the last world. Nothing shall be and so things are becoming nothing. These cars don't work. Will your horses turn inside out if you feed them the grass of these steppes?" Mad Swordsman chuckled nervously.
"Send for the chariots." King Gamma told Leer.
So the expedition went onward until they reached the outskirts of Casark. The city sat in twisted and macabre damage. Everything that could happen to a city had happened and now only a few scattered bits still stuck into the sky, like the bent legs of a dead bug.
"This is Casark. Already some of your men are getting sick. There are animals here that are no longer like normal animals. They are horrible and twisted by being so close to the end of all things. It warps them into the likewise molecules of destruction, rewriting the physics that evolved their bodies and breaking and sucking them into new shapes as it sees them." Mad Swordsman said as it was moodily chuckling.
"The darkness here is unnatural." Gamma complained.
"Look sire, the clouds are parting. Perhaps now we shall find what we seek here." Leer smiled.
"Only death can be sought here. I don't get it." Mad Swordsman guffawed.
"What is that? What in God's name is that? Dear God!" King Gamma fell off his horse and writhed in terror at the sight of the darkness outside.
At the sight of it all his army screamed in terror. It was as though the clouds had parted to reveal only nightmare beyond, a night sky with no stars torn in the daytime sky. It had hidden behind clouds, now like a killer cloud it tore into their eyes. Some fell on their bronze swords. At least one took up a rocket launcher and fired from a chariot at the darkness. The path of the rocket traveled backwards to the soldier. It was a tendril of nothingness and he became as nothingness. He simply was no more as though he never was. There was nothing left of him, barely even a memory. Not one man who witnessed it could recall the soldier's name and soon most of them completely forgot they had seen him become as nothing.
There was still worse for the others. Like Mad Swordsman had warned them: the ruins were swarming with monsters. As the men were screaming in disarray and panic: the monsters found them and came for them. Bronze armed warriors battled hideous giant chimeras all around while others fled or were eaten alive. Tendrils from outside fished for men and when it touched them they became part of it, dissolved into nothingness. Sometimes it brushed one of its monsters and it took them too.
Soon the battle had become an orgy of blood and guts as the monsters fed and no soldiers remained. King Gamma walked among them, his hair turned white and his words maniacal and crazed.
"Go then, go to your graves you cowards!" He yelled at the splattered remains of his men.
"Your majesty, we still have Mad Swordsman!" Leer followed behind and pled with his king.
"Don't mind me. I am just here for the live comedy." Mad Swordsman was doubled over and laughing at all the carnage.
"I do mind!" King Gamma was outraged. "You kill these monsters right now. Show no mercy, use your fullest strength at your most reckless speed. My men are already dead!" King Gamma pointed and screamed. The fury of the king and his command charged up the emotitronics of the empathical with enraged anima.
"And then I rest." Mad Swordsman said after it cleaved all of the mutants in half. It had slid along, skating horribly on the slick gore and never losing its balance. The monsters stood no chance against the unrestrained machine.
"What rest is there?" King Gamma threw off his crown and ran. "What rest can there ever be when the sky is opening over the world of Ruin?"
"I know how to accept rest." Leer picked up the crown.
"I shall continue the mission, following you." Mad Swordsman told Leer.
"Then we go to our deaths." Leer realized. He walked into the empty ruins, under the eternal void, to search for the cure of immortality.
The ruins of Casark became as escalating height and chaos of twisted remains, scorched and broken. As blackened bones of the earth they stood, like cratered mountains on an asteroid, the fields burned by lava and liquid nightmare as black as ink. What bubbled from below in confused orbs of consciousness were the writhing fleshy things and wired oil dripping things of mechanical nature. All became warped by death, in sequence with a place of pure entropy, even life served to destroy and spread death. This was a cancer upon the universe. Leer could not believe it had no name.
Leer felt like the air was dead and his lungs hurt and it was like slowly suffocating. A device of flashing colors and lights, drawn from the edges of the dead universes beyond, stood testament to the efforts of higher beings. It was a kind of chaos that was intact. If entropy was fine order, if nightmares were the laws of physics, the place ahead of them was lawless and chaotic.
They found where two dead machines lay upon a flying vehicle under a covering of tarps. What mad sacrifice had left them there, instead of where they had fallen? The device had spread their light, their colors from their grave. There was, in all the chaos, a cabin in a place that knew time and order. Leer could breath and it was actual air in his lungs. He sighed and looked at the structure.
"Welcome home." Silver Swordsman told Mad Swordsman.
"If I stand before you then I am not dead under the tarp." Mad Swordsman noted without humor. It seemed to have lost its sense of humor, its madness taking on a different quality. Something too clever to be understood. Yet something totally insane.
"You are certainly one of the dead, although nobody has looked." Silver Swordsman observed.
"Good. As long as nobody notices I am dead under that tarp I should be fine. Without observation there is no paradox." Mad Swordsman stated. Then he added in the same voice as Silver Swordsman:
"This very moment in this place is a paradox. In order for us to be here we had to already arrive before we got here. We are now showing up to complete the cycle of us leaving this place, therefore the place exists."
"I didn't say that." Silver Swordsman replied.
"Except I am you from the future. I am here now and I have said it and you heard it, therefore I heard it when I was you. I did say that, you cannot say I didn't when I did. And you are me." Mad Swordsman debated.
"We have outran the sun. We are behind the sunrise." Leer realized.
"That is a good way to put it. Perhaps Junior now understands what is going on?" Mad Swordsman teased Silver Swordsman.
"I got it before you got here." Silver Swordsman said with dry, sophisticated humor.
"Oh, I get it. That is very funny." Mad Swordsman found the joke to be an excuse to laugh forcefully for five minutes. Leer sought sanctuary indoors.
Inside he found where King Gamma had fled. The place was some kind of bar. There was a table and some things to sit on and they had some bottles of alcohol they were sharing. He walked up alongside King Gamma and gave him back his crown.
"I'm Leer." Leer told the other bar people.
"Adinett." The girl said. "I just turned four hundred."
"Happy birthday. Looking very good." Leer said.
"Oh, thank you. Um." Adinett drunkenly started toward Leer until King Gamma said:
"He is a eunuch."
"You could still please me though, right?" Adinett was undeterred.
"No. I am married." Leer accepted a drink from the bartender.
"I am Solomon." The bartender introduced himself. "This is my place. I call it The House Of Dust."
"Because it is where the dead will reside." The drunk guy in the corner said.
"Who is he?" Leer asked.
"Aidan." Solomon said with a strange kind of awe and disappointment. Like meeting your idol, drunk. Literally.
"That's Aidan?" Leer's lips curled in rejection. He stared, taking a good look. Aidan flopped around drunkenly and moaned his sentences without coherence. Most of them started with words like:
"Where'z?" or "What'z" slurred into the rest of what he was saying.
"You got him shit-faced." Leer accused Solomon. Solomon shook his head.
"We just have to wait." Adinett was drunk too. Her temperament was much more alert though. Inside of her was a rage. She was an angry drunk. At least she was too drunk to lash out.
"Where you from?" Solomon asked.
"Last City Of Man" Leer told it by one of its names.
"Ur? You are with King Gamma. I mean like where do you come from?" Solomon asked.
"Eldimoor." Leer recalled. "I was born in Eldimoor."
"Nice place, Eldimoor." Solomon nodded.
"We had orchards there. I remember the orchards." Leer smiled.
"I was from Pradesia. We had paddies." Adinett said with grim sobriety.
Nobody spoke for a moment.
"This is a pocket, gravitationally reversed. We exist in a stasis of time here. The entropy does not enter except at our natural local time, here in The House Of Dust." Solomon told Leer and King Gamma.
"How did you accomplish such a thing?" Leer asked.
"I discovered it. I alone survived here when everyone else fled." Solomon explained.
"Others have come here?" King Gamma wondered. Solomon shook his head.
"Nobody has ever made it here before the Apostate." Said Solomon.
"You mean Silver Swordsman?" King Gamma had seen the giant robot already.
"All of them together are now the Apostate. That's the last intelligent thing they said." Solomon shrugged.
"I seek immortality. For my king." Leer looked at Adinett.
"They took it from Jerome's Tomb." She shifted in her seat and knocked over her drink. "I'm done drinking."
"Good girl." Solomon picked up the glass.
"It is here, somewhere." Leer sounded sure.
"In Casark? No. The Finalists used all the Serum. Then, once they were ready to live forever, I killed them all." Adinett told him. "In my sleep."
"I saw what you did." Leer informed her. "In the memories of Mad Swordsman."
"So why are you asking me then?" Adinett complained belligerently.
"This place is all the immortality there is. The world outside is chaos. In here we have a moment of quiet." Solomon advised.
"How did you discover this place?" Leer asked suddenly.
"I was standing in the street when Umbraeon first came. It ripped open the sky and began to destroy everything around. Except this one bubble of time. Like it is happening out there so fast, and in here, so slow. The eye of the storm, you know?" Solomon explained.
"So you opened a bar?" Leer sounded amused.
"No, I built a cabin and stocked it with alcohol. I was an alcoholic." Solomon shrugged.
"Why?" Adinett asked.
"I was scared to be myself. I was only happy when I wasn't me. I had to be locked inside my own mind, while my reptile was drunk." Solomon described.
"This is the best reptile bar I've ever seen." Adinett cheered, empty handed.
"By now it is the only bar. By now, unless there are other pockets like this one, untouched by Umbraeon. Well then the world is gone." Solomon predicted.
"That's how slowly time passes in here?" Leer wondered. Solomon just nodded.
"We have arrived at the end of the world." King Gamma said.
"So Mad Swordsman knew, somehow, and that this was actual immortality." Leer decided.
"I hadn't thought of that." King Gamma took a drink.
Everyone was quiet while they realized how close was the end.

2023.06.07 18:28 codenamefulcrum Here is an outline of how I wish the sequel trilogy would have been written:
Star Wars Episode VII: Echoes of the Past - The story opens with Chancellor Leia Organa leading the New Republic. Various political challenges, both internal and external, are revealed, alongside subtle rumors about Grand Admiral Thrawn and his Imperial Remnant fleet hidden in the Unknown Regions.
- Concurrently, Luke Skywalker runs a Jedi Academy on Tython, where he guides the new Jedi Order in their quest to understand the mysteries of the ancient Jedi.
- On another front, Poe Dameron and Finn, soldiers and close friends in the Grand Army of the New Republic, lead daring missions against remnants of the Empire.
- Han Solo and Chewbacca, upon hearing rumors of a force-sensitive individual among the Mandalorians, find Rey. Discovering her potential, they set course to the Jedi Temple on Tython.
- Leia, in the meantime, decides to visit Tython to see her brother Luke and her son Ben, who has passed the trials and is made a Jedi Knight. It's during this visit that Han and Chewbacca arrive with Rey. This eventful day brings about a long-awaited reunion between the original heroes - Leia, Luke, Han, and Chewbacca.
- Amidst this poignant moment, the need for Rey's training becomes clear, and she becomes the newest member of Luke's academy.
- In the final act, the rumors of Thrawn are confirmed as his fleet launches a surprise attack on Coruscant. The Senate building is evacuated, but Leia, with a determination characteristic of her, stays behind to coordinate the counterattack. The attack results in her untimely death.
- In response to the attack, Finn and Poe, now promoted to Generals, lead a counterattack against Thrawn. As the situation grows dire, and with Thrawn's fleet mercilessly bombing civilian targets, Finn makes a difficult decision. He evacuates his ship, asking Poe to do the same.
- Finn, in a heroic sacrifice, pilots his ship directly at Thrawn's flagship in an attempt to halt the bombardment, causing massive damage. However, it remains unclear whether Thrawn survived the onslaught.
- Amid the chaos of the attack, the Jedi Temple on Coruscant is destroyed, revealing an ancient Sith Temple beneath its ruins. This ominous discovery leaves the audience with a chilling sense of what's to come.
Star Wars Episode VIII: Shadows of Korriban - Three years have passed since the destructive attack on Coruscant by Thrawn's fleet. The New Republic, still recovering, stands tall under new leadership while the Jedi Order has begun to rebuild itself on Tython.
- Luke, sensing that Thrawn is still alive, begins to have visions of the ancient Sith homeworld, Korriban. Believing it to be a clue, he sends his most trusted Jedi Knight, Ben Solo, along with his Padawan, Rey, on a mission to Korriban.
- The quest takes Ben and Rey to the shadowy depths of Korriban, where they explore the ancient Sith temples and tombs. Thrawn and his fleet, however, are nowhere to be found.
- The journey takes a dark turn when the ceiling of the tomb of Darth Bane collapses, separating Ben and Rey. As Ben searches for a way back to Rey, the Sith ghost of Darth Bane appears to Rey, attempting to seduce her to the dark side.
- When Ben finally finds Rey, he senses a deep change in her. Realizing that she has turned to the dark side, he tries to reach out to her, pleading her to resist the lure of the Sith. But Rey, fully embraced by the dark side, attacks Ben, resulting in his death.
- Back on Tython, Luke feels a deep disturbance in the Force and is filled with grief when he realizes his nephew's demise and Rey's turn to the dark side. During his time of despair, he is visited by the Force ghost of his father, Anakin Skywalker, who offers him comfort and guidance.
- As news of Rey's actions and Ben's death reaches the New Republic and the Jedi Order, an urgent council is called. In this meeting, the leaders start planning how to counter the rising Sith threat, now made real and personal by Rey's betrayal. The episode ends with a heavy sense of uncertainty about the future.
Star Wars Episode IX: The Sith Reborn - A year has passed since the tragic events on Korriban. Rey has discovered Thrawn's hidden base beneath the scorched surface of Mandalore. Thrawn, recognizing Rey's power and determination, accepts her as his second in command.
- On Tython, the Jedi Order holds a solemn funeral for Han Solo, who died of grief following the loss of both his wife and son. The loss is immense, with Chewbacca, unable to bear the grief of losing his oldest friends, deciding to return to his home planet of Kashyyyk after saying a final goodbye to Luke.
- That night, Luke is visited by the Force ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obi-Wan reveals a long-held secret: Rey is his granddaughter, a result of a secret affair he had with Duchess Satine of Mandalore before the Clone Wars. Obi-Wan shares with Luke a hard-earned insight – that love is the essence of the Force and that the old Jedi Order's strict policy on emotional detachment was flawed.
- Driven by his love for his family and friends he has lost, Luke seeks out Rey, determined to bring her back to the light side. His confrontation with Rey ends tragically, with Rey, consumed by the dark side, killing Luke.
- Following Luke's death, Rey returns to Thrawn and persuades him that the time is ripe to destroy the Jedi Order and the New Republic. Thrawn, swayed by Rey's resolve, agrees to this dark plan.
- Rey returns to Tython and deliberately reveals herself to the Jedi Order and the Grand Army of the New Republic, luring them to Mustafar.
- The climax unfolds in a massive space battle above Mustafar, with the New Republic and Jedi Order launching an all-out offensive against Thrawn's fleet. Despite suffering heavy losses, the New Republic and Jedi manage to overcome Thrawn’s forces and capture Thrawn himself.
- However, Rey manages to escape amidst the chaos, taking refuge in Vader's Castle on Mustafar. There, she is visited by the Sith ghost of Emperor Palpatine, who convinces her to reject the Rule of Two, the principle that had defined Sith relationships for centuries.
- Palpatine urges Rey to create a vast army of Sith to bring down the New Republic and the Jedi Order. The story ends with Rey, now a symbol of a new Sith era, beginning to plot her next move, setting the stage for the next trilogy.

2023.06.07 17:51 agean9 Dragon + Gila Monster + Witchcraft in-depth story
It seems like another album that adds layers in the story, here is one way to view the lyrics.
Narrative "Witchcraft," "Gila Monster," and "PetroDragonic Apocalypse" — weaves a cautionary tale of reckless ambition and its catastrophic consequences. The narrative unfolds as follows:
- In "Witchcraft," a coven of witches conducts a ritual, summoning and empowering a harmless creature, which transforms into the Gila Monster.
- The Gila Monster, as portrayed in the song bearing its name, feeds on these witches, growing in power and transforming into a formidable entity.
- In the climax, presented in "PetroDragonic Apocalypse," the Gila Monster morphs into the PetroDragon, causing massive destruction and marking the dawn of an era of despair.
"
Witchcraft": This song sets the stage for the narrative, depicting a ritual conducted by a coven of witches. Their intentions are to empower a tiny creature (the skink), but their actions have unintended consequences. The creature morphs into the Gila Monster, an entity that devours its creators, hinting at the perils of tampering with powerful and unpredictable forces (AI or technology in general).
"
Gila Monster": This song presents the rise of the Gila Monster, portraying it as an insatiable entity feeding on its creators to grow stronger. The Gila Monster's transformation is foreshadowed, with the song hinting at its eventual evolution into a winged creature — the PetroDragon.
"
PetroDragonic Apocalypse": The narrative reaches its climax in this song, showing the Gila Monster's complete transformation into the PetroDragon. This entity causes widespread destruction, symbolizing the catastrophic fallout of reckless actions and unchecked growth. Despite human attempts to thwart the beast, the PetroDragon's reign ushers in an "eternal night," marking the start of a bleak and despairing era.
Theme: I believe it critiques the disastrous consequences of unchecked ambition. The Gila Monster consuming its creators could symbolize the disastrous repercussions of misusing power, while its transformation into the PetroDragon might represent the uncontrollable escalation of a dangerous force. The term 'Petro' in PetroDragon alludes to fossil fuels, potentially offering commentary on the environmental crisis.
This narrative can also be viewed through the lens of technology and its potential to be both beneficial and destructive. The creation of the Gila Monster may symbolize the birth of a powerful technology (like artificial intelligence), and its transformation into the PetroDragon could symbolize this technology spiraling out of control. In this context, the songs serve as a warning against the reckless pursuit of power and advancement without considering the potential fallout.
Dragon - "PetroDragonic Apocalypse" - The title and chorus suggest a catastrophic event involving a "PetroDragonic" entity. The prefix 'Petro' is related to rocks or petroleum, and 'Dragonic' relates to dragons, implying a disaster possibly related to these elements.
- The first verse seems to describe the dragon's flight, and it's destructive power - burning and razing everything in its path."Gila is the aether" - A Gila monster, representing the dragon. The aether, an archaic term used to describe the substance that fills the universe above the terrestrial sphere, can indicate the dragon's domain.
- The phrase "What hath God wrought?" is a reference to the first message sent via Morse code and it's often used to question the consequences of an invention or discovery. It suggests the unleashing of this dragon-like force may be an unintended and regrettable consequence of some action.
- The repeated "Dragon, dragon, dragon, dragon" throughout the song could signify the pervasive, unstoppable nature of the dragon.
- The bridge's description of "winged demon on the stratosphere", "scrambling jets", and "cities weep" seem to describe a chaotic scene in which modern human defenses (like fighter jets) are trying and failing to stop the destructive dragon.
- Verses 3, 4, 5, and 6 depict the descent of the dragon from a portal in the sky and an incantation to summon it.
- The phrase "Dawn of eternal night" could represent the beginning of a period of endless darkness or despair brought about by the dragon's reign.
- The final verses describe the destructive power of the dragon, marking the end of the world ("Earth murdered in the blink of an eye") and the rise of a new, cruel order (signified by the dragon, "the beast we awoke").
- The song seems to use the dragon as a metaphor for a catastrophic force (possibly technological, natural, or both) that brings about destruction and chaos. The narrative might be a critique of human actions leading to their own downfall, symbolized by the dragon they awoke.
Gilla monster The lyrics of "Gila Monster" depict the transformation and growth of a monstrous entity known as the Gila. This song's lyrics continue the narrative begun in "PetroDragonic Apocalypse," and there's a clear progression of the monster's power, starting from a ground creature and ascending to a sky-dominating force.
- "Anon, a giant monster roams / Creature of magic, not of hope" - The song begins with the introduction of the Gila monster, described as a creature of magic without hope. This monster hunts and devours witches, growing in strength, size, and power with every meal. This creature's power and menace are emphasized throughout the lyrics.
- "Until one day upon his back / He'll sprout wings, a fearsome pack" - The transformation of the Gila monster into a dragon is foretold. This fits with the PetroDragonic entity in the first song.
- The repeated "Gila, Gila, Gila" seems to echo the previous song's refrain of "Dragon, dragon, dragon, dragon," further connecting the two entities.
- The verses also present the Gila monster as an unstoppable force with no sense of forgiveness, a blood spiller and a fate sealer, reinforcing the destructive and merciless nature of the creature.
- The final verses, like in "PetroDragonic Apocalypse," describe the Gila monster's transformation into an even more powerful creature: "Growing immensely and vastly in size / Summoned from the wicca to their demise." These lyrics suggest the creature was called forth by witches, who are ironically its main prey.
- The concluding lines of the song, "Annihilation of planet earth / And the beginning of merciless damnation," connect back to the concept of the PetroDragonic apocalypse introduced in the first song.
Whitchcraft - The lyrics depict a vivid scene of a group of witches performing a ritual under the dying moon, invoking the elements and chanting to empower a creature. This sets a sinister atmosphere and signifies the power these witches wield.
- The line "I call upon the blood-moon goddess for I have but one request" suggests a plea to a higher power, perhaps for a transformation or creation of some sort, which is revealed later as the transformation of a skink into a mythic king.
- "Gila Monster, set alight" indicates the transformation or empowerment of a creature — the Gila Monster. The words "set alight" may symbolize the beginning of its destructive path, sparked by this ritual.
- The lines "Like a grenade in a fist, the air ignites, a bloody mist" depict the immediate consequences of the ritual — a surge of power, potentially indicating the unleashing of the transformed entity, resulting in chaos and destruction.
- The reference to "Beowulf, grifting ritualist" might suggest a manipulative figure in the ritual, possibly stirring the proceedings towards a catastrophic end. The character of Beowulf in literature is a hero who fights monsters, and in this context, it may suggest a character trying to control or fight the entity that they have created.
- "The tiny creature, a harmless skink, transforms into a mythic king" reveals the outcome of the ritual. This transformation, likely the result of the witches' incantations, could symbolize the unintended consequences of wielding powerful forces, leading to the creation of an entity that could cause destruction beyond their control.

- Smithing Tables have been redesigned into a workstation for physical equipment upgrades and modifications
- Alongside slots for combining a piece of equipment and materials, there is now a required slot for an item type called Smithing Template
- Smithing Templates define what type of upgrade you will be making to a piece of equipment
- It specifies both what type of items you can upgrade, and which ingredients are valid to customize the upgrade
- There are currently two categories of Smithing Templates: Armor Trim and Netherite Upgrade
- Smithing Templates are consumed when used to upgrade an item in the Smithing Table
- You can craft a copy of a Smithing Template in the Crafting Table with 7 diamonds + 1 block of material that the template is made out of + 1 smithing template, which will output 2 of the same Smithing Template
Netherite Equipment
- Netherite equipment crafting now also requires a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template
- Netherite Upgrade Smithing Templates can be found randomly in all Bastion Remnant chests
- Every Treasure Room Bastion Remnant will contain 2 Smithing Templates
- This change was made for a variety of reasons:
- Increase the time players utilize Diamond equipment before Netherite
- Make Netherite equipment more significant achievement in the game's progression
- Adapt Netherite more naturally into the new Smithing Table crafting system
Armor Trims
- You can now visually customize your armor with a variety of unique trims at the Smithing Table
- Armor trims are purely visual with no gameplay benefits
- Armor trims can be applied to Helmets, Chestplates, Leggings and Boots
- All trim patterns are visually the same on an armor's item icon, but the color will still change based on the trim material
- To check which trim pattern a piece of armor has, you can hover over it in the inventory
- Armor Trim Smithing Templates can be found all throughout the world, and each of the following structures contain their own unique Smithing Templates:
- Trail Ruins: Wayfinder, Raiser, Shaper, and Host Armor Trims
- Pillager Outpost: Sentry Armor Trim
- Desert Pyramid: Dune Armor Trim
- Shipwreck: Coast Armor Trim
- Jungle Temple: Wild Armor Trim
- Ocean Monument: Tide Armor Trim
- Ancient City: Ward and Silence Armor Trims
- Woodland Mansion: Vex Armor Trim
- Nether Fortress: Rib Armor Trim
- Bastion Remnant: Snout Armor Trim
- Stronghold: Eye Armor Trim
- End City: Spire Armor Trim
- Smithing Templates are found in chests in their respective structure
- Trail Ruins have no chests, Smithing Templates are instead found by brushing Suspicious Gravel
- The Ocean Monument has no chests, Elder Guardians sometimes instead drop a Smithing Template upon death
- Some Armor Trim Smithing Templates are rarer than others, so be on the lookout for them to impress your friends!
- An armor trim has two properties: a pattern and a material
- The pattern is defined by the Smithing Template used to apply the trim, and represents the visual pattern of the trim
- The material is defined by which ingredient you used to apply the trim, and controls the color of the trim
- The viable ingredients you can use to define the color of your armor trim are the following:
- Iron, Copper, Gold, Lapis, Emerald, Diamond, Netherite, Redstone, Amethyst, Quartz
Cherry Groves
- Added a new Cherry Grove biome, with pretty cherry blossom trees
- The biome can be found in the mountains, in similar places as Meadows
- Added a new Cherry wood set, with all the corresponding wooden things you can craft from it
- Pink particles fall from beneath Cherry Leaves
- Added a new Pink Petals block with lots of pink flowers on the ground
- Each Pink Petal block can contain up to 4 petals
- Using Bone Meal on it increases the number of petals
- Placing a Pink Petal into an already placed block increases the number of petals
- Drops the number of petals in the block when mined
Bamboo Wood Set
- Added a new Bamboo wood set, with all the corresponding wooden things you can craft from it
- Block of Bamboo can be crafted from 9 Bamboo and can be stripped like other wood logs
- Bamboo Planks crafted from Block of Bamboo yield only 2 planks compared to 4 for wood logs
- Added a new "Mosaic" plank variant that is unique to Bamboo called the Bamboo Mosaic
- It can be crafted with 1x2 Bamboo Slabs in a vertical strip
- You can craft Stair and Slab variants of Bamboo Mosaic
- Bamboo Mosaic blocks cannot be used as a crafting ingredient where other wooden blocks are used, but they can be used as fuel
- Added a unique Bamboo Raft and Bamboo Chest Raft which can be crafted like normal boats, but with Bamboo Planks
- They function the same as ordinary boats, but have a unique look to them
Chiseled Bookshelf
- A new, chiseled variation of the Bookshelf
- Crafted with 6 planks and 3 wooden slabs
- Can store Books, Book and Quills, Written Books, Enchanted Books, and Knowledge Books
- Holds up to 6 books
- These can be added or removed from any slot by targeting the specific slot
- The Comparator signal strength corresponds to the number of the last book that was inserted or removed
- The numbering of book slots starts from 1 at the top-left, and increments from left-to-right
- Works with Hoppers
Hanging Signs
- Hanging Signs are a more expensive version of normal Signs
- Crafted with 2 chains and 6 stripped logs of your preferred wood type
- Crafting results in 6 Hanging Signs
- Can be hung up in the following ways:
- Underneath a block that can provide support in the center, like a full block or a fence
- Attached to the solid side of a block
- Attached to the side or underneath another Hanging Sign
- Unlike normal Signs, they cannot be placed directly on the ground without support from the side or above
- However, Hanging Signs that have a horizontal bar will not pop when the supporting block is removed
Signs
The following changes have been made for both Signs and Hanging Signs. - Sign text can now be edited after being placed in the world - This can be done by interacting with the Sign - Signs with non-text chat components can not be edited - Both sides of the Sign can now have separate text and colors, allowing for further customization options - By default, a Sign will prompt you to input the front side's text when placed - To apply text to the back-side, you must walk to the other side and interact with that face to edit it - Signs can now also be waxed with Honeycomb, preventing any further edits to its text - Opening the sign edit screen in singleplayer no longer pauses the game
Calibrated Sculk Sensors
- A new variant of Sculk Sensors that allows you to filter vibrations based on their frequency level
- They are not found naturally and can only be crafted with 1 Sculk Sensor and 3 Amethyst Shards in the Crafting Table
- One side of the Calibrated Sculk Sensor can receive a redstone signal as input
- The strength of that redstone signal is the only vibration frequency the Sculk Sensor will listen to
- They have a combined active and cooldown phase that lasts 20 game ticks
- They output their redstone signal for the first 10 game ticks
- They can detect vibrations up to 16 blocks away
Vibration Resonance
- Blocks of Amethyst have a new behavior when placed adjacent to Sculk Sensors
- If that Sculk Sensor receives a vibration, the Block of Amethyst will re-emit its frequency as a separate vibration at its location
- This behavior is called Vibration Resonance, and allows players to move vibration frequencies across long distances without having to recreate the vibration naturally
Playable Mob Sounds
- When placing a Mob Head on a Note Block, that Note Block will now play one of the ambient sounds of that mob when played by a player or powered by Redstone
- Mob Heads can be placed on top of Note Blocks without sneaking
Piglin Mob Head
- Piglins will now drop their heads when killed by a charged Creeper
- Placing the Piglin head on a Note Block will play one of the Piglin's ambient sounds
- The Piglin head will flap its ears when powered by Redstone, or when worn by a player while walking
New Music
- Added the following new music tracks by Aaron Cherof to Cherry Groves, Desert, Jungle, Badlands, and Flower Forest biomes:
- A Familiar Room
- Bromeliad
- Crescent Dunes
- Echo in the Wind
- Added a new music disc with the track "Relic" by Aaron Cherof, found in Trail Ruins

- Removed Herobrine
Sculk Changes
- If a vibration is scheduled to be received by a Sculk Sensor or Sculk Shrieker, they will stay queued until all adjacent chunks are loaded and ticking
- Prevents vibration resonance setups from breaking when unloading their chunks from a distance
- Waterlogging a Sculk Shrieker will now silence their shriek sounds
- Sculk Sensors' default redstone output has been modified to be more reliable for distance calculations
- Sculk Sensors and Calibrated Sculk Sensors now strongly power the block they are placed on
- Both types of Sculk Sensors now stay in their Cooldown phase for 10 ticks, with other phase timings being adjusted to compensate
Sculk Sensor Phases
- Sculk Sensors and Calibrated Sculk Sensors have three phases: Inactive, Active and Cooldown
- The default phase is Inactive
- This phase lasts indefinitely until the block receives a vibration
- During this phase, the block is able to listen to nearby vibrations until one has been scheduled
- When a scheduled vibration is received, the block switches to the Active phase
- This phase lasts 30 game ticks for Sculk Sensors, and 10 game ticks for Calibrated Sculk Sensors
- During this phase, the block stops listening to nearby vibrations, wiggles its tendrils and emits a redstone signal and light
- After the Active phase has finished, the block switches to a Cooldown phase
- This phase lasts for 10 game ticks
- During this phase, the block keeps wiggling its tendrils, but no longer emits a redstone signal nor light
- Finally, once this phase is finished, the block will switch back to the Inactive phase
- Previously, some of these phases had different timing values:
- Active: 40 game ticks for Sculk Sensors and 20 game ticks for Calibrated Sculk Sensors
- Cooldown: 1 game tick for both types of Sculk Sensors
- These phase timings were tweaked so that it is less common for activated contraptions to recursively activate the Sculk Sensor that powered them
Vibration Frequencies
In preparation for the Calibrated Sculk Sensor, vibration frequencies have been greatly simplified to prevent unwanted interference. The following are category descriptions for each frequency and the expected events that they correspond to:
- Movement in any medium (land, water and air)
- Landing on any surface (land or water)
- Item interactions
- Gliding with an elytra or unique mob actions (Ravager roar, Wolf shaking, etc)
- Dismounting a mob or equipping gear
- Mounting a mob or interacting with a mob
- Mobs and players getting damaged
- Consuming items (drinking and eating)
- Blocks 'deactivating' (door close, chest close, button unpress, etc)
- Blocks 'activating' (door open, chest open, button press, etc)
- Blocks changing (cauldron water level rising, adding food to campfire, etc.)
- Blocks being destroyed
- Blocks being placed
- Mobs and players teleporting or spawning
- Mobs and players dying or an explosion
Step Sounds
- Walking on a block will now always play a step sound
- It was previously not the case if you were walking along the edge of a block with air or fluid besides it
- Walking on the ocean floor will produce a step sound for the block you are walking on at a lower volume and pitch
- When walking on Carpets, Snow, Nether Sprouts, Warped Roots, and Crimson Roots, a combination of step sounds will be played
- The top-most block you are walking on is played as normal
- The block underneath is played at a lower volume and pitch
Advancements
- Breeding Camels and Sniffers now count for "The Parrots and the Bats" and are now required for "Two by Two"
- Hanging Signs now count for "Glow and Behold"
- Visiting a Cherry Grove is now required for "Adventuring Time"
Technical Changes
- Improved performance of the light engine
- The data pack version is now 15, accounting for sign data format, item display orientation and advancement changes
- Removed update_1_20 feature flag and built-in datapack - features are no longer experimental
- Added a return command
- Tweaked display entity interpolation
- Added a capped rule structure processor that limits the number of replaced blocks for a structure piece to a configured maximum
- Configuring block entity fields in a rule processor rule is now delegated to a referenced block_entity_modifier instead of the previously fixed output_nbt configuration
- Random sequences for loot tables are now deterministic
- Added a reference loot table function
- Loot table condition/predicate changes:
- Renamed alternative to any_of
- Added all_of
- Advancement trigger changes:
- Added recipe_crafted
- Changed format of placed_block, item_used_on_block and allay_drop_item_on_block triggers
- Ingredients in array form are now also allowed in smithing_trim and smithing_transform recipes on fields template, base and addition
- Those fields also allow empty arrays, which signalize that slot needs to be left empty
- Added new damage types: outside_border and generic_kill
- Game events have changed vibration frequency and some have been removed
- The resource pack version is now 15, accounting for the font and credits update
- Updated the sprite layout of minecraft.png
- Removed the overriding minecraft.png from the Programmer Art resource pack
- Updated the sprite layout of invite_icon.png
- legacy_unicode glyph provider has been removed
- Bitmaps used by uniform font have been removed
- uniform font has been updated to use Unifont 15.0.06
- That changes shape of multiple characters, while also adding support for new ones
- Combining characters no longer include circle overlayed over them (so M◌̆ now renders as M ̆)
- Added second level of organization of entries in credits.json on top of titles, called disciplines
- Font textures are included in debug texture dump (F3 + S)
- Added new font glyph providers: unihex and reference, removed legacy_unicode

- Removed the server & port commandline arguments as their functionality has been replaced by Quick Play
- Updates to telemetry
- Changed encoding of server.properties to UTF-8
- Added validation for symbolic links in world saves
Light Engine
The light engine is responsible for calculating the brightness of each block in the world. Light is calculated during world generation as well as updated when a block is changed in the world. Behavior of the light engine has not been changed.
- The performance of calculating light has been improved
- Reduces one source of lag spikes when crossing chunk borders
- Improves FPS in situations when a lot of light updates occur
- Improves how quickly chunks can be generated
Commands
return
The return command can be used to control execution flow inside functions and change their return value. Effects:
- Remaining separate top-level commands in the currently executing function (if any) are skipped
- The result value of the function command that triggered the function is changed from the number of commands executed to value
- The result value of the return command is also value
Syntax:
return
Parameters:
- value: An integer return value
data
- string data sources now accept negative boundaries, which are interpreted as index counted from the end of the string
Display Entity
Interpolation Changes
- Previous values are always discarded if interpolation_duration is 0
- Made sure that render properties are applied at the same time (so block_state is applied at the same time as transformation, i.e. at the next tick after receiving an update)
- Display entities are not rendered until their initial data is received. That means display entities might not be shown on the first tick.
- Note: due to how the game handles updates, changes to entities made after summoning might be delivered to clients within a later tick
Rendering Changes
- item_display items have been rotated 180 degrees around the Y axis to better match the transformation that is applied when rendering items on an Armor Stand head and in Item Frames
- For reference, the order of transformations applied to model (starting from innermost) is item_transform, rotate Y 180, transformation field, entity orientation (billboard option + Rotation field + Pos field)
Structure post-processors
Capped post-processor
- A capped post-processor has been added which can limit how many blocks a delegated post-processor randomly transform in a structure
- This can be used to configure a structure piece to have an exact amount of specific blocks, instead of using random distribution
- The capped post-processor has following required parameters:
- delegate A post-processor which performs the actual block transformation
- limit Maximum amount of blocks that the delegated post-processor can transform
- The blocks inside a structure are all randomly passed to the delegated post-processor until it has transformed the limited amount
- Either constant or random number generator sampled during post-processing
Rule post-processor block entity configuration
- Previously a rule could specify an optional fixed output_nbt which would be added to the processed output block entity
- This field has now been changed to reference a block_entity_modifier
- Existing block_entity_modifier's are:
- passthrough Retains existing fields on the block entity
- This is the default if no block_entity_modifier is specified
- append_static Similar to previous output_nbt this provides fixed fields to add to the block entity
- A minor change is that this modifier appends configured fields to the processed block instead of replacing existing fields
- clear Removes any existing fields on the block entity
- append_loot Appends a loot table and seed to the block entity through required parameter:
- loot_table Referenced loot table to add to block entity as LootTable field
- Field LootTableSeed is also added to the block entity using random seeded by block position
Loot Tables
Random Sequences
The game now uses named random sequences to deterministically produce loot for loot tables. Each random sequence produces a unique sequence based on the world seed and sequence ID, which means a loot table will produce the same results when ran with the same parameters in the same world.
The ID of the random sequence to use for a loot table is specified in a new optional field called random_sequence. If no sequence name is given, loot is drawn using a non-deterministic random source.
reference
New function reference allows functions to call sub-functions (similar to reference condition).
Fields: - name - location of function to call
any_of/all_of
- Loot condition alternative has been renamed to any_of
- Added new loot condition all_of that passes only when all sub-conditions pass
- Has the same syntax as any_of
Advancements
New Triggers
recipe_crafted
- Triggered when crafting a recipe
- Conditions:
- recipe_id - the resource location of the recipe crafted
- ingredients - an array of predicates for the item stacks used in the recipe
- A single item stack can only be used to fulfill one predicate
- Each predicate needs to be fulfilled to trigger the advancement. This allows for separation between recipes that have same identifier but use different ingredients.
- This field is optional. When not provided, or left empty, only the recipe_id will dictate the success of the trigger
Changed Triggers
- All fields in placed_block, item_used_on_block and allay_drop_item_on_block have been collapsed into a single location field
- The new location is similar to the player field - it is a list of loot conditions/predicates
- All conditions in this list must match for a trigger to run
- Conditions are evaluated in a new loot context called advancement_location. It has access to:
- Player as this entity
- Position of the placed block
- Block state of the placed/interacted block
- Held/used item as "tool"
- Migration guide:
- Contents of old location field should be migrated to location_check condition
- Contents of item field should be migrated to match_tool condition
- Contents of block + state fields should be migrated to block_state_property condition
Example (from make_a_sign_glow advancement):
Before: { "conditions": { "item": { "items": [ "minecraft:glow_ink_sac" ] }, "location": { "block": { "tag": "minecraft:all_signs" } } }, "trigger": "minecraft:item_used_on_block" } After: { "conditions": { "location": [ { "condition": "minecraft:match_tool", "predicate": { "items": [ "minecraft:glow_ink_sac" ] } }, { "condition": "minecraft:location_check", "predicate": { "block": { "tag": "minecraft:all_signs" } } } ] }, "trigger": "minecraft:item_used_on_block" }
Damage Types
- Players outside the world border are now hurt by the damage type outside_border instead of in_wall
- Forcibly removing an entity using the /kill command now uses damage type generic_kill instead of out_of_world

Block Tags
- Removed replaceable_plants since it was only used as a subset of the blocks for the tag above, and not as universally
- Added replaceable_by_trees to better express blocks that are replaced when the tree grows through them
- Added replaceable with all the blocks that can be replaced
- This tag only represents the internal state of the game, changing this tag does not make blocks replaceable

Fonts
New unihex Glyph Provider
- New glyph provider for reading Unifont HEX files
- HEX format describes font glyphs using a bitmap
- The height of every glyph is 16 pixels
- The width of glyph can be 8, 16, 24 or 32 pixels
- Every line is made of two hexadecimal numbers separated by :
- The first value describes a codepoint - it must have 4, 5 or 6 hex digits
- The second value describes the glyph as a stream of bits, line by line
- When rendering, empty columns on left and right side of glyphs are removed
- Custom glyph widths can be set with size_overrides
- This provider requires two fields:
- hex_file - path to ZIP archive containing one or more *.hex files (files in archive with different extensions are ignored)
- size_overrides - list of codepoint ranges that should have width different from auto-detected (based on empty space in glyph). Fields:
- from, to - start and end of codepoint range (inclusive)
- left, right - integers describing the position of the left-most and right-most columns of the glyph in range
- Any bits in columns outside of this range will be discarded
New reference Glyph Provider
- New glyph provider that can be used to include providers from other fonts
- Providers are guaranteed to be loaded only once, no matter how many times they are included
- Provider has one field id, that describes another font to be included in the currently loaded one
- Inclusion is performed after all fonts are loaded, so it will include all providers for a given font defined in all datapacks
Removed legacy_unicode Glyph Provider
- The legacy_unicode glyph provider has been removed
- This functionality has been replaced by the unihex provider
Quick Play
- Added support for four new command line arguments that allow the game to be launched directly into a world
- quickPlayPath takes a specified path for logging (relative to the run directory)
- If a path is provided the following will be logged upon joining a world:
- type: is either singleplayer, multiplayer, or realms
- identifier: represents the world you want to join
- For singleplayer, the folder name of the world
- For multiplayer, the IP address of the server
- For realms, the Realms ID
- port: represents the server port and is only logged for multiplayer
- name: The name of the world
- gamemode: The gamemode of the world
- lastPlayedTime: The time you joined the world
- Example:
- --quickPlayPath "quickPlay/log.json" will resolve into .minecraft/quickPlay/log.json
- quickPlaySingleplayer, quickPlayMultiplayer and quickPlayRealms all take their respective identifier
- If one of these arguments is provided, the game will try to launch directly into the given world
- Examples:
- --quickPlaySingleplayer "New World"
- --quickPlayMultiplayer "localhost:25565"
- --quickPlayRealms "1234"
Telemetry
All Events
- Added new property: launcher_name
- This is set based on the minecraft.launcher.brand system property
- This will help us troubleshoot game launch related bugs more effectively, as we will be able to see whether the issue originated in the Minecraft launcher or a third-party program
Updated Required Events
- world_loaded
- Added new property: realms_map_content
- When loading into a Realms Map Content world (Minigame), the world_loaded event will receive the name of that map
- This is to help us understand how Java Realms players interact with Java Realms adventure or minimap content
New Optional Events
- advancement_made
- This event is triggered when a player completes an advancement, and allows us to see the advancement ID and the time when the advancement was completed
- This helps us as a studio understand player progress and limits, which informs our game design
- game_load_times
- This event is triggered when the game client is loaded
- Includes the time it took for the client to load
- This is so that we can work on improving and reducing the time it takes to load the game client
server.properties
- File is now read in UTF-8 initially, with previous encoding (ISO 8859-1/Latin 1) as a fallback
- File is now written with UTF-8 encoding
Symbolic Link Validation
To improve safety, the game will now detect symbolic links used inside world directory. For a detailed explanation, check our help article.
- If the target of a symbolic link is not on the user-configured allow-list, the game will not proceed with loading the world
- Note: the world directory itself can still be linked
- The list of allowed symbolic link targets is stored in file allowed_symlinks.txt in the client or server top directory
- The file consists of entries (one per line) with following formats allowed:
- Lines starting with # are comments and are ignored
- [type]pattern, where type can be glob, regex or prefix
- prefix matches start of path with given pattern (so for /test paths /test, /test/ and /test/foo.txt would match)
- regex matches regular expression against whole path
- glob uses OS-specific path matching mechanism (for example *.txt would usually match files with txt extension)
- Note: paths will use OS-specific separators
- pattern, which uses default prefix type

- Crafting four Pottery Sherds together will create a Decorated Pot with a picture on each side
- Brick items can be used instead of Pottery Sherds in the Decorated Pot recipe
- The sides that were made from Brick items will not have pictures
- Smash a Decorated Pot with any block-breaking tool to break it apart and get the Pottery Sherds back
- Hitting the pot with bare hands, silk touch tools, or any other item will drop an intact pot instead
- Crafted Decorated Pots with at least one pattern have a hover tooltip displaying the Sherd & Brick ingredients
Sniffer
- The Sniffer is the mob vote winner of Minecraft Live 2022
- Sniffers are passive, friendly mobs
- Sniffers sniff the air and occasionally dig for seeds, which produces a Torchflower Seed or a Pitcher Pod item
- Sniffers can only dig grass and dirt-like blocks
- Sniffers can be tempted by, and bred with Torchflowers Seeds
Sniffer Egg
- Can be found by brushing the Suspicious Sand of Warm Ocean Ruins
- When two Sniffers breed they do not immediately spawn a Snifflet; instead, a Sniffer Egg is dropped
- When placed in the world, the Sniffer Egg will hatch after some time
- When placed on Moss, the Egg will hatch in approximately 10 minutes
- On all other blocks, it will hatch in approximately 20 minutes
Torchflowers
- The Sniffer can occasionally sniff up a Torchflowers seed, and it can be used to breed two Sniffers
- The Torchflower seed can be planted on Farmland and grows into a Torchflower
- The full-grown flower can be harvested and replanted
- The Torchflower can be crafted into Orange Dye
Pitcher Plant
- The Sniffer can occasionally sniff up a Pitcher Pod item
- The Pitcher Pod, when planted on Farmland, grows into a Pitcher Crop
- The Pitcher Crop has five growth stages
- Once fully grown, the Pitcher Crop can be harvested, yielding a two-block-tall Pitcher Plant
- The Pitcher Plant can be crafted into Cyan Dye
Camel
- Camels can be equipped with a Saddle and ridden by two players
- Camels spawn naturally when Desert Villages generate
- Camels can be tempted by holding Cactus
- Feed Cactus to Camels to breed them
- Camels are tall
- Most hostile mobs will not be able to reach you when you are on a Camel
- They can walk over Fences and Walls
- Camels randomly sit down
- While sitting, it is difficult to convince them to move
- Camels can either walk slowly or sprint quickly
- They can also dash forward but will lose stamina for a while when doing so
Smithing

Light Engine
The light engine is responsible for calculating the brightness of each block in the world. Light is calculated during world generation as well as updated when a block is changed in the world. Behavior of the light engine has not been changed.
- The performance of calculating light has been improved
- Reduces one source of lag spikes when crossing chunk borders
- Improves FPS in situations when a lot of light updates occur
- Improves how quickly chunks can be generated
Commands
return
The return command can be used to control execution flow inside functions and change their return value. Effects:
- Remaining separate top-level commands in the currently executing function (if any) are skipped
- The result value of the function command that triggered the function is changed from the number of commands executed to value
- The result value of the return command is also value
Syntax:
return
Before: { "conditions": { "item": { "items": [ "minecraft:glow_ink_sac" ] }, "location": { "block": { "tag": "minecraft:all_signs" } } }, "trigger": "minecraft:item_used_on_block" } After: { "conditions": { "location": [ { "condition": "minecraft:match_tool", "predicate": { "items": [ "minecraft:glow_ink_sac" ] } }, { "condition": "minecraft:location_check", "predicate": { "block": { "tag": "minecraft:all_signs" } } } ] }, "trigger": "minecraft:item_used_on_block" }
Damage Types
- Players outside the world border are now hurt by the damage type outside_border instead of in_wall
- Forcibly removing an entity using the /kill command now uses damage type generic_kill instead of out_of_world

2023.06.07 16:02 Xanek Sunbreak Bonus Update / Last New Monster - Primordial Malzeno (Available June 8, 2023)
2023.06.07 15:20 Bogey4hoo 'Surving The Win' - Chapter 009B.
'Faze'.
At the, "Dere-Licht," Manor, upon the Steps of the Stairs, a Smoked Pipe was placed. In the very Centre of the Meeting Hall (the Room off to the Side from the Bottom of the Stairwell), there was another one, as well. Okay well, throughout the entire building... More like, a GREAT number!
Avem had them placed all throughout that Rebuilt Old Character House, and within that Glorified Mansion, there were Smoked Pipes, In and On Cupboards, Resting Upon Windowsills (with the Drapes Pulled or Left Open), upon Countertops, Hidden Inside of Bookshelves (if not Resting Upon them), of course on the Mantle, Hidden In and Around Corners.. at Every End, Above and Slightly Adjacent to Entrances, and even some, which were included upon the Tabletops...
All of these Smoking Pipes, some with Ashen Remainders in them, some only Constructed Models of, what we imagine, would have been kept for their Interest Sake, were watched by a Careful Set-Up, of Video Surveillance.
The Surveillance, Signaled Hanging Display Monitors, all throughout the House, and also at Avem's Lab in Tokyo. Some of these Monitors, were Hanging from the Ceiling, at the Walls, Facing Down and Into the Rooms. Others, in the Bedrooms, were Level with Sitting Chairs, where one might want to Sit Down and Look At Them.
They were Set Up, Primarily, To Catch Every Angle and Motion of Light or Shadow Upon or Within the Pipes. This Recording of Smoked Rememberances, took place Every Night and Day, from the Rising to the Setting of the Sun, all Throughout the Years. What were the Ashes for?
…
Granny Smith, he yelled. I'm telling you! She didn't believe him one bit. And you pretend you weren't looking for me!?...
She interrogated him fearsomely. Do you know who I am???
Do you know who I am, "Roared," Perry, back at her, bleakly. He was terrified. Though, he somehow managed to pull off a tone, which mirrored her own, with mock mavery.
Down the hall, there was a beep. Close the door, Swarma commanded, looking out through the interrogation Room's Exit. There was the sound of a, "fwoosh," and a, "click," outside of it. Nobody had been at the Exit, either to push or to pull it's heavy door, closed. There was also no telling, of where that other door might be. She took a swab and daubed Perry with it quickly, before leaving. Wait right here, she cackled, smiling a leerily-wisening old grin, as she left him to total.
What's doing this to you? shrieked Ren. June had actually been, in all fact, sobbing and in dread. Her body, becoming purple, as it was, "cast," with some thick layer of unknown chrysoform, which continued to cover her in variegating patches, no matter how much she scratched or peeled. It seemed to keep leaking out from her pores in beads, which coalesced over her skin, recombined, and matted. Heaving, she threw a chunk at the Vending Machine.
She was sitting in Emergency, having just made it through Triage. These are for you, said the Faithful and Believing, Catholic Lady Friend of Wells, who passed her some Pamphlets from the Lecture.
The Professor had stopped everything, to see to it that this kind Lady, would bring Juniper to ER, post-haste. June had brought Ren along as a Study Buddy, for Note-Taking, with a Bribe.
Initially, June went out to the Mountains, to collect Perry's belongings from the Rented Cabin. Upon arriving back in town, both she and Ren decided to Drive out to the College for a Lecture, and to Sight-See, while asking people around the Area if they had Seen or Heard from Perry. Could he be haunting her somewhere? Was there any hope?
Although... the Professor HAD, abruptly interrupted his Lecture to find one of his CPR-trained staff to escort Juniper to the nearby Hospital E.R., in the event that she might not make it there herself, and was, "Truly," facing a Medical Crisis.
The Vending Machine, went lame, and the lights in ER flickered for a moment. I'm getting creeped, said Ren. That's all!
June's problem stemmed back, from when she ate the Oatmeal, which Perry had left behind at the Cabin, while she was inside it, looking at a Newspaper and Doodling.
Some of Avem's Team, had been in the Trails previously, and Driven a Snowmobile through them, tracing Chemicals through the Snow. A or Spoken Split. It had been at just one of her Lab's Testing Zones.
Avem had caught onto Perry, first, when her Voice Exploded from a Crackling Ice Wyrm/ “i”’Sāqa-Šaqqa, in the Cabin's Fireplace.
Avem had been Writing her Vocals into the Chemical Strains of the Ice-Wyrm Constituency Potion, which she concocted in her Lab, and Spread Rumours about, then Codifying it with Automatic Cyber-Sentience Response-Forms, which took initiatives, based on Environmental Factors, and in turn, fed back Information. This Data, was made readable by her Reverse Tonic, which Tabulated it, by Codices, which had Variables in her own Mental Inter-Framing. Cog-Notes, if you will, to her own Cognition. All of, these, Variables, which entered her Consideration, let her Pry, both on Known, and Unknown, Territories. She frequently Drank her Cyber-Tonic from a Vial in her Lab, while going over Her Work.
Perry Wheeled, and Stumbled around the Room, trying to avoid the Icicle Firecrackers, which were Sounding Off whenever he Slid and/or Stepped upon them. He'd apparently been Mega-Dosed, and was now about to Learn what in the World of a Mega-Dosed, Felt Like when Under and In It.
The Wyrms were Sounding Off, in an Acoustics Array, and Perry, Bounded and Rebounded Turning Listless as the Chrysalids Exited him, and Becoming Reinterred into Motion Again, by their Sounds. He was now, well... Not Feeling Like a Perry. That and he was Done, Done, and, "Roared," out. He could No Longer even Find his Own Vocal to Bless How He Felt. Avem came back in, when the Turnabout was Over. She had Observed Perry by a Camera Hidden in the Room, which was Hooked up to her Monitors for Surveillance, as well. Turning on a Ventilation Fan, from outside, which led the Room's Air into a Separate Chamber, she had Two People, Dressed in Dark Robes, walk in, and move Perry back to his Chair, now Limp. They Swept Up, the Remaining Crystalline Deciduates, and Drains Opened, which Took the Little Bit of Liquidine Debris, Out of the Room. Perry, was now Toned.
Swarma, Placed her Hand on his Forehead, at First to Take his Temperature, and then, Mentally Calibrating his Vocal Remembrance within Herself, Uttered a Word to him, While he sat Slumped over the Chair, Catatonic. The Word.
And Therein, may be a Key... His Subconscious Mind, would most certainly Remember. She Had Uttered It, in His Very Own Vocal Tone. Why? It Rendered him Cognizant and Triggered His Mentality, as though His Own... Though, Truly?... Her Own.
Perry was allowed, with the other Time Wraiths as escort, to slowly move around the Manor and familiarize himself with it. He was being taught by them, how to remain very still for long periods of time. Many of the Time Wraiths, were flown out to the Lab down in Tokyo, to use the computers on their Night-Watch Network. The Lab there, housed her prized Hua Niu ("Black Diamond") Apple, Bonsai, kept under specialized lighting, plus numerous other artefacts. It was set up like somewhat of a Museum, with one dimly lit, humming room for computer observancy, which apart from Monitor glare, left much to the realm of the keen observer.
The 34, often formed a Large Pentagram, with two people at each of the five elemental points, two people between each elemental point encompassing, two people between each elemental point intersecting, two people in the very centre, and two people encircling round about. Underneath them, was stone masonwork in black basalt, and a large star outline, traced with gold inlay.
A chandelier hung above them, and the room had an overview of the gated entrance, where birds were often seen in trees, and light could pour in, but at night, the glass of these windows turned sheet-black to buffet them in, high enough up that none might peep.
By no commotion of ceremony, the participants would stand and hear the NicNeven recite her Canon address. The fruits her Science had yielded, sounded in the Hall, and into their collective memory, which disbanded when they did, after she read from her book.
The book, made from gene paper, was their Canon, and this... only a meeting hall. Despite its congressional form, summons were not of sell out to World Teachings. She ranked as their Science-elected, matriarch, of mental-modernity, by the facet of old typings and tyings, to, "new," teachings.
Ruminations from the fruits of her labwork, thereat would be discussed. For if nobody would have them, they most certainly would. Then, and only then, would the lines be codographed (some of the Night-Watch, were also very good hackers). They were secretly culted-over, but by few, and their practicum bore method, not mere devotion. The team were, "Nec-Will'O’Mancer"-affiliate.

What did you have me on? Some sort of Cerelium Slick? El, in Perry, broke out bawling. Something so licentious that I can’t tell I’m licked. HaHa.
His stupor adored him with affection, and he had a hammering affectation from it. It caused him to clout his knowing, though only briefly.
Perry came through, yamming… I’m looking back on days of Candy Cloaker Gobstoppers! You mean you literally had me erased… or, where am I?
You Hide no Burger, in Finding Fries, Perald. Daytime is where I have you.
At that, there had been an unconventional or out-of-the-norm convening, where not-an-one of all the attendants had-in, to agree, "We are Necropolitan"... Though, their greed to know, would grow.
Perry led himself back in, looking for his girlfriend, strangely feeling sold out of his nut.
…
Ironically, it was just at that point that Juniper had made it there. She too was undergoing her thought detexturing, “rinse,” that is, the opposite of any detox, after looking like a Raisin May's, “In.”
This was to be the, “Turnabout (a new Ceremony was declared by Avem’s Host in Relative-Caster Company, and held somewhat like a House Party).”
A $9,000.00 Maitland Smith Dollhouse Bar Cabinet, was off in isolated room of the newly Renovated Manor, with a load of Porcelain Dolls and cameras to watch it.
That room was off limits.
Juniper had had it in her know long afore, in dream. Now to hack Avem… oh, where?
…
"Osa," circuit of my air... How can, "I," enfold you? Swarma asked, with a vestitude, which only, behooved to surmise her, with surreptitious guiltiness of paridyllic refrain.
She, “The NicNeven,” winked meaningfully, holding an extremely rare pipe up, skyward.
The Time Wraiths all sat, in their, “F”arm-Ended Theatre apart from the once-Ballroom.
Quieting down, it was in their circle that a cast occurred, but in truth they were no relative summoners and Avem’s Mafia had elected them afresh.
That is… that as they were all a, somewhat afraid and eerily sketched out, “Fresh Crop,” yet and though, she would in fact, have them richly afforded, in Good Time.
…
Avem’s Mafia had sent the former Nec-Will’O’Mancers over to her Manor for the Renovations.
Avem, then, was Crowned, “Accorded,” and the Newly Selected Time Wraiths, could be Trained.
Avem’s Clue In, in her new Role, while in her old Manor seemed to live in it’s espies.
I mean, they must have had her drugged for the whole house to be enchanted, somehow, but the only question is who set it up, and when?
One of her clues, came from a former Nec-Will’O’Mancer silently shadow-encoaching a novice approved in the group, by his far larger boding of path had, in-the-off. She heard the man in her head as well, ruling that Smith had to explore her ties in the Mafia, through rank, a second time, and thus a later, termed-submission as a right of accession, had been officed.
She, once again (the man went over in his mind) being indoctrinated into Mafia rank, though slowly, because her freedom-release methods, were her own merital device, and she needed a longer time to work at them.
Avem, had canned herself intentionally, to stay at a head, but nobody fully knew, how it was done.
Reptilian Mind Control.
-‐-
How could that be?
Look to the Wind, and we shall ride. ~ "Phantom Riding The Whip," where one is not standing on top of a vehicle, but rather, riding over a different type of, "Whip," as a, "Phantom-Circuit." ~
"Now we admonish," they recited.
"Peace be," stated the NicNeven. She inhaled from the lit pipe.
They all, “doned,” her infuriatingness, with amicability.
Now yes, your highest love, and what’s our gift they forecried, awaiting something.
Not of in an any Dib of forgery… You will undoubtedly see. She canned.
Please don’t mess us or master us mental, Avem, one girl joked, admitting the kind dark lair WAS weird.
That's Missus, Avem relegated ghasting.
…
Now, I have here the document they stole it from, a man entering the room said. He read aloud,
The remains of a, "chicote"/"cigar butt"/"cigarette butt."
The Nec-Will'O'Mancers, then stated in unison, reading off of the pamphlets they'd previously been handed out, though in a less clear-and-determined tone, or well (it seemed), in a way that hummed and wandered.
"... Far l'fo, Ho glow. How we sway. How does a hard tar, Lie her thieu, In a chi, icy high..."?
When they were finished reciting, the man continued speaking.
By, "sukunai," "少ない," the man continued in Japanese… a word, which means, "few or little," with the root word, "少し ("すこし," "sukoshi").""
Avem exhaled. "The synonym for, which is, "chotto," she said. So yes... in other words? "A little." "ちょっと ("chotto")," may I add, it has a root word in the adverb, "chito..." "... "ちと ("chito")," as in, "slightly," "a little," "a bit," or, "somewhat," where, "ち ("chi," means, “small”)," and, "と ("to," is an adverbial particle). "と ("to")," is also a noun, which is short for, "と金 (tokin)," which will now indicate a promoted, "歩兵 ("fuhyō," or, "pawn”)," that, "moves," like a, "金将 ("kinshō," or, “gold general”).""
Thus, what might have been inferred, perhaps, was that a, "Chicote," in a pipe, was, more or less, alike unto a, "Chi Chót," if it did indeed implicate such.
A, "Chót," of course, meaning something at the, "Bottom," "Lowest Extremity," or, "End," of something, and from there, or at that point, perhaps even then moving forward.
Chicote, apart from being a form of Tobacco, was also, in all truth, a form of, "Whip," known for being a Scourge, in places like the Congo.
The NicNeven, had already caught wise to this, and also how, this form of Tobacco, may have had it's own "Xicohtli (a Nahuatl word, for, "Bumblebee")."
I guess, what needed to be said most (as a nod to the Indigenous People), was that they were good to hold a Peace over the Herb, and also Bow...
Some people may have needed a Peace Blessed over them, knowing the Nature of how all Words exist with ties to Power.
…
This time, however, she was not merely dreaming with the pipe. She aimed to begin work on something more pivotal. Holding her peace, over them, as though the Time Wraiths had not, in fact, been led by her to keep a different mindset, themselves, she kept them aware, of the part of her mind they were let in by.
A part, they would not be able to share. When inhaling, she did so with a strickening wind, through sympathetic diacords and resonance fields, and from a region locked onto by the Time Wraiths collective awareness. The NicNeven (we presume, remaining silent somewhere at the top of an, "imaginary," but quite irregal, circuit of Heaven, and with her pipe), had her whole lot hidden safely away, and blessed unseen.
She, "wind-let," her chosen remote area, with the pipe, from a distance, as though it were a whip and a scourge, creating yet another (this time stronger), bane.
Her smoke summons, were such that, she hoped to collect and open them, one day, as a portal, to dawn on the World.
As for the pipe vision. This one was well formed. She might have make a centrepiece of it, on table somewhere.
Many of them, rested on glass plates, with glass cases overtop. After their Surveillance Circuit had run, "Ash-Line Data," or, "Pipe Particle Intel," was fed through a Computer on the Ash-Configuracy, Analysis-Observancy Program, of the, 'Night-Watch Circuit', of the, "Time Wraiths"-Network, and for a Number of Reasons...
One, being that the Data, would often be used to reproduce these, "In-Pipe Visions," as, "Viable Product-for-Sale ("Furnishings from the, "Furnace,"" so-to-speak)," and so they needed a Good Record of Analysis kept for Reproduction. "Pipe Reproductions," would be made using more Durable Materials, and Non-Smokable Materials. The Data, would also allow the group to Configure Predictions of Ash-Shift, with a Matrix, once Measurements and Variables were Plugged into an appropriate Coded Program Logarithm, which helped them see, potential Shift Patterns, which may yet arise. The Furnishings, were to be kept as Permanent Pipes... Artefacts, for the Mansion, and Museum, of Swarma.

‘A, “Marrow Vin Gean”’.
The Holy Spirit Sword cuts through to the Marrow. This is intended to mean that it is versatile. Only, more to the point, that it is not intended for vice.
How this happens, is that it has verses, in tandem occurrence, operating in relevant reflection, on Scripture, and is designed to heal. That is… before having thought of attack or rendering anyone ineffectual.
Wisdom from Jesus, in Scripture, teaches us, that, without Doctrinal relevance, and Revelation, we live on a Dying Planet and cause it.
~ Falling out of our mouths, if I may add. ~ The tongue is a venomous instrument, which apart from destroying, needs to be bridled with Scriptural Truth and or the Gospel, or healing falls away from what we know of vital spirit, sowing, growing, engrafting, and planning.
However picking up on any dead line of “Prayer Chain (for things truly are, by introspection, a righteously bidden, divine godly judgement's in of how to live by a planetary Monodeism and not just by correspondence, but mainly faith in Him),” to help, Christianly, defeat the death of the soul. [Angelic parameters, of what’s barred, of course had in, or it’s out a’barren]
Marrow is where the Blood Cells are created before reaching the Circulatory System.
This is in the bone.
Luz is the Catholic-Bidden Vertebrae/Spinal Column Bone for Resurrection.
As Jesus commands one to Live or the Tree not to grow for being of ill time, Our lines have a prayer solvency to that line of fess, by the Vin, or vine, and gean or Spirit.
However, Merovingeans are babylonian Dragon order. We needed it bidden less graven.
- Remember the Holy Ghost is of the Burning Bush, with Moses, in Exodus, in The Holy Bible (and not only there).
A Spirit Sword (Of The LORD), bids first how to save. One, “should,” not desire to dare another into fire, as God graces the time by his hand.
Made of Heaven, wise, the sword knows the hairs on the heads of the utilizers and counting unequal, may perform.
That is, off for bolder lead, and even balded for baring, out of the Worker’s Parable of God’s Constance and Unequal Nature, bearers of it's Fire, may see, and do oft’ find some in their know, of the Church Hold on Word.
Obvious?
This is the Rate Of Pay, in the Vineyard Parable, of the Workers who worked (un-in Mammon), for their Lord (Christ), earlier, and then some other, later (ie. When, in Truth, found bidden in and by Him, a fair constant is maintained, no matter World Climate, in the Fellowship), for and not toward, the forever, for they may not be bidden.
God unriddled.
Jesus, is the Amen in Revelations 3:14, He Ransoms Believers Souls, through Self Sacrifice and Sovereign Service, his father, created and lawed through the covenants, and the commandments, and owned all heaven host and hierarch, and the Holy Spirit, Blessed the Way.
'On What Could Have Been'.
An expensive matryoshka was brought in for Ralph to look at...
He received the package at his Estate, and had a hard time with his spectacles, adjusting them trying to read the fine print.
The brown paper parcel, with white sticker, opened to a smaller purple gift box, within it. The gift box was about the size of an order of chow mein, and from within the lilac tissue paper inside, was a golden doll. Andrei, Fu, and Evelyn, had driven back and were now seated around Mr. Dizzmith.
Well, here it is, he stated. No word of who it's from, not to mention that I'm not working anymore.
Is it another antique asked Andrei?
Yes, and well, I think it is, replied the Senior, but the thing is, I don't know how to open it. It's a Matryoshka or Russian Nesting Doll, and this one is rather expensive, but the Middle Circumference of the Doll has a Twistable-Dial Lock, and I've never known that to be the case before.
Would you wager all the others inside it are like that, too? asked Evelyn. I know what Matryoshkas are, but you're right. This one DOES seem a little bedeviled.
Perhaps said Ralph.
Do you think there is anything inside, asked Fu.
It looks a little weighty. Is it a bomb? Asked Evelyn.
Nobody would bomb a man like Mr. Dizzmith, said Andrei, but just to be on the safe side, I'll look it up. Andrei pulled out his Smart Phone.
Most bombs don't have Passcodes, said Fu. Look, the Passcode is right here on the box.
It says the code can be adjusted and is made to be matrilineal.
This is most definitely a finely-crafted specimen then, but how does it work? asked Ralph.
Well, it looks like every Doll has two turnable dials at the vertical middle, which run horizontal and around the circumference. These are adjusted from within, when open, and numerically set with dates for a passcode, before the top and bottom on each doll are latched, that is. Each doll is secured, around and over the former one, which has been latched or fastened, and each, in so doing, has its dials consecutively scrambled from the outside, before putting the next doll on it. The dolls are hollow, and increase in scale, to fit, while the locks operate by Birth Years of mothers, or rather, daughters. If one Mother or Grandmother, leaves a Sum, in her Will, to the, 'Matryoshka Fund', it will Increase in Interest, and if they send an Heirloom in With the Money, once the Company is Informed of the Birth of the Final Child, they will send the Doll to the Final Child, Heirloom within It. The Family History, and Records are Sent too, as the Locks are Set with Birth Years, of Mothers, in Chronological Order or First to Last, and this Prevents the Wrong Families from Accessing the Contents.
If No Contents, are Sent by the Ancestral Will-Bearer, Gifts-in-Shop, may also be Included, upon Initial Order Selection.
The Company/Fund, occasionally Touches Base with the Families, but this is Less Common.
Who is it for? asked Evelyn.
I have no idea, but there's some Weird Vial in it!
What could it be of, though?
Well, Matryoshka's are generally not compartments, made use of, for containing things, but this appears to be a Vial of Oil.
"Oyle," is a rare name for the Saviour, "Jesus Christ," remarked Andrei.
"Oyle ("Middle English," Language)": # 2.4. https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/oyle Maybe an Heiress, then? said Ralph. WHO could she have been?!

2023.06.07 14:07 DemiGodInsanity Honkai Character Analysis: Silver Wolf
| Hello again fellow trailblazers! Today we're here to talk about Silver Wolf! This "alternate version" of Bronya who's now getting her release has quickly become a fan favorite, and so it's now the best time to cover what we know about her and what we can gather from Honkai Impact as well! Silver Wolf's splash art First of all, disclaimer: The Honkai: Star Rail characters and Honkai Impact 3rd characters who have the same name and similar appearances, except for Welt Yang, are NOT the same person, but instead you may think of them as something akin of parallel versions of each other! I go into detail about this and how the Honkai universe works here! Now let's get into it! First, let's go over what we know about Silver Wolf in Star Rail. She's a member of the Stellaron Hunters, working alongside Kafka and Blade, but she seems moreso along for the ride and to have some fun herself. She's a very skilled hacker who can do just about anything, to the point where she's even gained the ability to alter reality through her "aether editing" abilities. She sees the world as her own personal game that she can edit and play as she likes due to this and her very easygoing attitude. She comes from the world of Punklorde, and now travels along with the rest of the Stellaron Hunters. Her hacking skills are so impressive that she's even gone up against, and matched, Screwllum of the Genius Society. But what about her backstory? Silver Wolf's Story As a child, she was already addicted to videogames. She worked in a fast food restaurant, being the only employee there, and she had turned the basement into an arcade hall where patrons of the restaurant would come to play. There she played multiple games, including Pong, Battle Wheel 32, Geometric Wars, Odysseus and Star Cheetah, eventually beating all the high scores on all of them, her name becoming the only one on the lists. Having run out of things to do in the basement, and growing bored of the restaurant as a whole, she bid goodbye to the owner and left. Using her special weapon, Prometheus, she created some virtual partners as modules to keep her company, as those who worked alone on Punklorde wouldn't last long. She tried to find a job, something that could excite her, but soon she realized that, even alone, nothing on the world of Punklorde could satisfy her insatiable need to continue to improve and "get a new score", as she would think of it. Becoming a legend among the people of the world, she was eventually approached by a group of people. A man, a woman, a metal humanoid and one other. She joined, leaving Punklorde to go across the stars with the Stellaron Hunters. Though it's not a long story, we'll see that it actually brings some similarities to a certain character from a certain other game. This has caused much discussion among people discussing whether they are the same or not, and we'll talk about that now! Bronie, the Haxxor Bunny Say hello to Bronie! Bronie, in the Haxxor Bunny battlesuit Bronie is a character from Honkai Impact 3rd. She is a version of Bronya seen only in a certain Bubble World, who stars in a few different events, including the ongoing one at the time of writing. Before we talk about her, let's define Bubble Worlds really quick: The universe in the Honkai franchise is made up of different Worlds, represented by leaves on the Imaginary Tree. These are complete star systems, though it's unclear if Worlds can include multiple galaxies, just one, etc. Bubble Worlds, also called Bubble Universes in HI3, are instead fragmented versions of these worlds. They can be made naturally if a World falls off the Imaginary Tree, in other words losing its flow of Imaginary Energy, which eventually causes it to lose its integrity over time, and disappear in the Sea of Quanta (the space between the different "leaves", that makes up the rest of the universe that isn't occupied by Worlds). They can also be created artificially, and can be as small as to encompass only a single planet, or even a single moment in time, fragmented off of a World to form a very small bubble that preserves only that moment. Now that that's explained. Bronie comes from a Bubble World within the Sea of Quanta, which seems to encompass an alternate version of HI3's Earth. Specifically, Bronie lives within Arc City, a technologically advanced city which hides a lot of shady transactions, gangs and corrupt companies. Here, Bronie is regarded as a legendary hacker, involved with many of these shady dealings but always working alone. Bronie prepares for combat As you can see, she carries a pair of guns, known as Crusher Bunny 19C. She also controls drones, which help her during battle, for reconaissance missions and just for performing some general tasks when needed. But let's talk some about her story. As I've mentioned, she lives in this Bubble World's version of Arc City. Here, she works at a bar known as Raven's. This bar is named after its owner, Natasha Cioara, also known as Raven. (And yes, this is another version of HSR's Natasha, we'll get to her another day). She's also friends with a well known idol within Arc City, TeRiRi, this World's version of HI3's character Theresa. Bronie mocks TeRiRi Together, they infiltrate the Heliopolis Park, the main structure of Arc City, in order to grab a key that she had heard about in some intel. This is the key to the Light Curtain, a sort of barrier keeping Arc City separated from the rest of the world. As she finds the place where this key is being kept, she is stopped from getting it by a mysterious ninja. A mysterious fox-eared ninja Bronie is eventually able to escape along with the key, and her and TeRiRi retreat to Raven's. Here they meet with Cioara, who shows her worry and opposition to Bronie's work as an independent hacker. With all the gang activity and powerful people out there, working independently is not only an inefficient way to make money, but can also get you killed very easily. To show her disappointment, she goes so far as to call Bronie by her real name, Bronya. Cioara scolds Bronie After revealing that she was able to take the key, Bronie runs away as she wants to avoid confronting the owner of the bar, and TeRiRi follows behind her. Here it's revealed that Bronie herself was part of the Taixuan gang, but she left in order to expand her horizons and eventually leave the city. Their talk is interrupted by Gray Serpent, the one who sold Bronie the Heliopolis Park intel and a member of the Snake Eye gang. It seems the leader of this gang wishes to speak to Bronie, and so they follow him. She is led by an "introducer" named Rita, but she quickly figures out that she is, in fact, the leader she is supposed to meet. Bronie and Rita Snake Eye has in their possession another key to the Light Curtain. Three keys in total are needed, but the gang does not wish for the Light Curtain to fall, instead wishing to keep all the inhabitants of Arc City inside where it's surely safe. Therefore, Rita refuses to give the other key to Bronie, and attempts to take hers as well. After a battle, Bronie comes out as the victor, and Rita gracefully hands over the key. However, Bronie also figures out that she had been holding back. Rita reveals that she lost on purpose to create a story and give Bronie credibility, and warns that Snake Eye is nowhere near as powerful as the holders of the other two keys, Heliopolis and the Taixuan gang. Back in their hideout, Bronie and TeRiRi read some of Bronie's manga while they analyze the key. In one of them, TeRiRi reads about a samurai type of character who comes from a parallel universe. This seems to spark something in Bronie's mind, but she quickly brushes it off. Bronie finds a surveillance video of the ninja that attacked her underneath Heliopolis Park, witnessing her super advanced weapons and armor and her swiftness in defeating enemies. The girls bring the fight to Taixuan gang in order to retrieve the final key. Bronie and TeRiRi fighting the Taixuan gang Meanwhile, Bronie believes she's figured out the mysterious ninja, believing she is from beyond the Light Curtain, or more specifically, that just as the villain from that manga, she is from a parallel universe, explaining her advanced technology and powers. As they continue to mow down the opposition from the Taixuan gang, they eventually meet with its boss, Big Sister Fu Hua. Fu Hua, leader of the Taixuan gang Bronie challenges her to a match, just the two of them one against the other, something that hadn't been seen ever since Cioara had come to the Taixuan gang and challenged Fu Hua herself, with the prize on the line being taking Bronie away. When they arrive at the arena, Fu Hua instead reveals that Bronie will be fighting Cioara herself, to the death. Since they both want to stop her from leaving, Cioara agreed to be the one to fight her instead. Though Bronie puts up a good battle, Cioara is able to overpower her and push her to the edge of the arena. Cioara holds Bronie at the edge However, Bronie uses her drones to get herself out of this situation. Even if she cannot move, they can, and she blasts Cioara away. She reveals that the first shot had an anesthetic, and that she had knocked Cioara unconscious. Fu Hua reveals that she never had the intent of keeping the key from Bronie, and had already given it to Cioara as payment beforehand. Bronie and TeRiRi return to Raven's, carrying the unconscious Cioara. After Bronie and Theresa have a conversation about how much Bronie's grown, she decides to leave Raven's and go to look for the Curtain's core and finish this mission. With the blessing of both Cioara and TeRiRi, she prepares to go. Bronie's final thumbs up to Raven's She finds the Curtain's core, but is stopped by the ninja from before. She reveals that she had been after the core all along, and that Bronie had no use for it anyway as her goal simply required that it be removed. Bronie concludes, then, that the core must have another purpose, and thus decides not to hand it over to the ninja for free. As they battle, Bronie is able to set herself up and eventually is able to switch positions with the ninja, holding the core and placing herself closer to the exit. As she escapes, she triggers the security system to keep the ninja held up. Bronie prepares to leave Arc City, but the ninja finds her waiting at the northern exit. Bronie awaits the ninja at the edge of the city She decides to give the core to the ninja, but not without a price: she wants the ninja to take her to the world where she comes from. She refuses, as she says she cannot do it, but she agrees to teach Bronie how to leave the world she's currently in. Finally, it's revealed that the Light Curtain core is something known as an Ether Anchor. The assassin, whose name is Kasumi, was tasked by a mysterious individual to retrieve it. Meanwhile, Bronie is able to leave the bubble universe in which she lived and land in a place called the Hyperion. Though this isn't important for the story we're telling here, Bronie's world is part of a greater network of bubble worlds, addressed in Honkai's events to create a story called the Captainverse. I won't go into further details here about this, as it's not too important, but from here on, Bronie continues to travel to different bubble universes, including the one from the currently ongoing event in Honkai. Bronie appears in the new event, in a different bubble universe (along with Kasumi) Silver Wolf vs. Bronie So now we come to answer the question: Are Silver Wolf and Bronie the same person? If you've read the story of both, it should be pretty clear that the answer is no. However, it's also clear to see their similarities. Both grow up in a world with technological advancements, working in a barestaurant as its only employee, while also being very fond of technology and related culture. Both are incredible hackers of great renown who go around fighting against big gangs and people from the city while working alone, and both wish to leave their worlds after becoming bored, both achieving success in the end. However, it's clear that Bronie's world is not Punklorde, and it's clear that Bronie's travels to different bubble universes is not the same as Silver Wolf's travels to different worlds with the Stellaron Hunters. They are still similar, but not the same, and the inspiration is more than clear to see. The other Bronyas To finish off this post, I'd just like to address the multiple variations of Bronya along different HoYoverse games. Alongside HI3's Bronya, Bronie, Star Rail's Bronya, Silver Wolf, and Gun Girls Z's Bronya, all of which are very different (though GGZ's Bronya and HI3's Bronya are the closest in character), there is also one more "Bronya", which may confuse some people if they see her. The \"other Bronya\" This... is not Bronya. If you don't know her (or well, it), you may be inclined to believe so. Yet even within Honkai's characters this is not counted as a Bronya. This is Prometheus. It is not a human, but instead an AI created by the Previous Era of humans that lived 50,000 years before the current civilization of Honkai Impact's world. The Previous Era and Current Era of Honkai share many character equivalents, and thus it's assumed that Prometheys is supposed to be the Previous Era version of Bronya. Another detail you may notice here is that Prometheus shares a name with Silver Wolf's intelligent weapon! This makes the Bronyaverse go into an even tighter circle! Conclusion So this is it! I'm releasing this on Silver Wolf's release day, so there may be some details that can be taken from her companion quest or some other source I haven't been able to check out yet, and I'll edit the post to add such information if necessary! As always, please correct me if you find something wrong, and make suggestions for which character I should do this for next! Luocha's will come on his release day, so anyone else is fair game, as long as they have a Honkai Impact counterpart! That said, I want to thank everyone here for reading this, and hopefully this has given you a deeper understanding of Silver Wolf, or at least of her inspiration, Bronie! If you've already pulled yourself a Silver Wolf, hopefully you'll enjoy her, and if you haven't, then may all your pulls be blessed, and may all Silver Wolf wanters be Silver Wolf havers! submitted by DemiGodInsanity to HonkaiStarRail [link] [comments] |
2023.06.07 11:50 VincentD90 The Future of The Brotherhood of Old [Sort of a mod announcement]
I have some big news about the future of
The Brotherhood of Old. I'm mostly writing this as a commitment to myself so that I actually do it, and also as a rallying call to those who may be interested in helping out. Feel free to read along as I think aloud. This will be a long read, so buckle up.
I have decided to cancel development of version 1.2 and shift my focus to developing version 2.0. This will obviously push any updates outside of 2023.
What is version 2.0? As stated in the previous announcement for version 1.2:
My main objective is to completely remake and restructure the final few quests, mainly "The Cults of Darkness" and "The True Brotherhood" as these are the most complicated and complex quests in the mod and often have issues running properly.
That will no longer be the main focus. What I aim to accomplish with version 2.0 is something I've been wanting to do for many years but have not had the time to do until recently... So now you're probably saying "Come on man, get to the point!" So, without further ado:
Version 2.0 at its core, will be a complete rework of the entire mod. While not rebuilt from the ground up, sweeping and extensive changes will be made. Making all of this happen will be no small feat, so I would like to take this opportunity to open things up to the community. I would like for this mod to turn into something made by a team. It would be great to have a team with diverse skills and ideas all contributing to it, rather than everything coming from the vortex that is my head. I am looking for talent in writing, level design, quest development, Papyrus, and 3D modelling.
If you are interested in signing up, please fill out this form. Here are some of the main things you can hope to expect:
A rewrite/revision + extension of the main story. More focus will be spent on player choice and freedom, rather than a story involving you basically babysitting the chosen one. While Vala Amatius will still be a key part of the narrative, it will no longer be strictly centered around her. Additionally, this will no longer be a story that assumes you played through or remember the events that happened in Oblivion, but it will reward those of you that have/do.
It will dive into exploring the history of the Dark Brotherhood and how it got to the point where it is presently in the original Skyrim story. You, the player, will have first-hand experience figuring out what exactly happened, how to prevent it from ever happening again, and how you plan on rebuilding the Brotherhood. Will you recruit new assassins first? Will you have new Sanctuaries opened? Will you restore the Black Hand, or operate on your own? Will you drive it all into the ground? The choice will be yours. You as the Listener will take a more active and hands-on role in how everything plays out. The story will no longer force you in any one direction, and you will have choice and agency at every turn. The decisions you make will play a pivotal role in how the story plays out and subsequently ends. While the Night Mother will still offer you suggestions on what to do and where to go, the final decision will always rest in your hands.
There will be a handful of interesting and fleshed out characters for you to choose from when recruiting. You will have freedom to choose among the characters you like, and will no longer be forced into selecting the ones that the mod chooses for you.
Each character introduced, which will include existing ones like J’Zakar, M’Jirra, Undil, Azuk and of course, Vala, will all have “loyalty missions” similar to how it’s done in Mass Effect. For those of you who don’t know what that means… Essentially, you will have the option to talk to each of these characters about their backstories, which will lead to you going on a little personal adventure with them if you so choose. By the end of these loyalty quests, you will be able to take each of them as a follower and companion who will also be marriageable if you want that.
Who are we up against? The Crimson Scars, who are the primary antagonist of this story, are an ancient splinter group of the Dark Brotherhood made up entirely of vampires. They believe that Sithis has ordered them to extinguish all non-vampires from the Dark Brotherhood and will stop at nothing to see this become a reality. In the original mod, they only show up near the tail end, and are basically shoe-horned in without much explanation. This will be changed in a big way. You will now encounter them much earlier on and they will be an active threat you experience throughout. Rumor has it that you may be able to join them, but that’s just hearsay. Subsequently, the Morag Tong will no longer be a part of this story and will be removed from it entirely unless there is a good reason for them to be involved.
New Sanctuary and location overhauls: All of the new locations added by the mod will receive complete overhauls and will look far better than they do currently.
New items, weapons, and armors: In addition to the bonus rewards you receive from quests, there will be new unique weapons and armors that any self-respecting Listener would enjoy.
So that’s basically it. It’s a very lofty and ambitious goal, but it is one I am committed to bringing to life. Again, if you are interested in helping me make this happen,
please sign up by filling out this form.
Thanks for reading, Tom Tesoro

Together, they broker peace between Florence and its enemy. If Marcus is going to help Claire, he’ll have to survive. Peace has upset the balance of power in the capital city. The king stands increasingly alone against: the Constantines, a commercial enterprise as much as a clan, who aim to profit from peace as they have from war – the warrior nobles, descended from the founders of Florence and quick to turn against a weak throne – and Reburrus, the high priest of Florence, convinced Claire answers to hostile foreign gods. As the city comes to a boil, Claire and Marcus – and Marcus’s formidable army – will have to decide where their allegiance lies. Claire becomes a reluctant participant in a savage campaign. While Marcus leads the battles, she tries to gain control of the unimaginably powerful Ctesiphôn – a ghost tower in the heart of Florence, shrouded in magic and myth. Seradal and Villic find themselves in the middle of a war between Remeria and the Camel Clans, and may end up on opposing sides, while the threat of Calrym looms over all of them. At the behest of the woman he loves, Demri finds himself thrown into the Elkavich, a not-so-secret order of Magicai who are intent upon fixing the world. Ashen, a former urchin rescued by a noble with selfish aspirations, works to dismantle the nobility of Calrym. Death is assured to all who walk the world, the only unknown is when they will perish. Goodreads -- 1st June – On Winds of Ruin (The Deimachy #2) by Lincoln Law A friendship betrayed. An unfamiliar land. The winds of ruin blow. Roisin is still reeling from events at the end of A Crown of Blood. She feels lost, broken and alone in the world. Torn with what to do next, Roisin chooses to make the fateful trip across the Skybinder border into enemy territory in the hopes of gaining new allies for the fight against the Soulmongers. At her side is her fox companion, Vulpo; the last of the Bloodsingers, Mei; and a Skybinder of questionable allegiance named Giack. And Kaori, leader of the Soulmongers, is given her own task, granting her more power than she could have ever imagined. The choices these young women must make will tear them apart, fracture them all, leaving cracks for something darker to seep in. And in the end, only the one with the strongest resolve will endure. Goodreads -- 1st June – The Nameless Restaurant by Tao Wong Urban Fantasy, Cozy Fantasy There is a restaurant in Toronto. Its entrance is announced only by a simple, unadorned wooden door, varnished to a beautiful shine but without paint, hidden beside dumpsters and a fire escape. There is no sign, no indication of what lies behind the door. If you do manage to find the restaurant, the décor is dated and worn. Homey, if one were to be generous. The service is atrocious, the proprietor a grouch. The regulars are silent, brooding, and unfriendly to newcomers. There is no set menu, alternating with the whim and whimsy of the owner. The selection of wine and beer is sparse or non-existent at times, and the prices for everything outrageous. There is a restaurant in Toronto that is magically hidden, whose service is horrible, but whose food is divine. This is the story of the Nameless Restaurant. Considered to be little more than a myth, Goldie assumes at first that the shapeshifters are an exaggeration – but with the sizeable bounty her employer is offering, she soon realises there may be more truth in it than she realised. And that isn’t the only thing on her mind: she discovers her main rival – a manipulative and incredibly cunning trapper named Southey – has also taken on the contract, and will be contending for the same bounty she so fervently desires. Having waited many long years to have her revenge and outsmart Southey for past mistakes, Goldie sees the new contract as a perfect opportunity to do so. All she has to do is play her cards just right. And kill three bears… Goodreads -- 4th June – Waybound (Cradle #12) by Will Wight Progression/Cultivation, Epic Fantasy Years ago, Lindon left his home as a powerless Unsouled. Now, he goes to war with the most powerful beings in the world over the future of Cradle itself. The Weeping Dragon has a grudge to settle, and Lindon intends to take out the Dreadgod with his friends by his side. But rival Monarchs know his plans, and they won’t let things end so easily. If Lindon does win, he will ascend to the heavens. But he may not find a safe haven there either. In the worlds above, Suriel and Ozriel face off against the Mad King to determine the new shape of the cosmos. The victor will decide the fate of countless universes. Whether he wins or dies, Lindon will soon leave this life behind. Goodreads -- 6th June – Champions of Light (The Light Series #1) by Althea Damgaard Epic Fantasy Rhoanda runs away when her father betrays her trust by arranging her marriage without telling her. She had freedom to be herself, unlike her sisters, but in the end, she should have expected this. Instead of a cell, they take her to the Cathedral of Light, which rivals a fortress. There she learns the truth about the Light while trying to hide who she really is. Her parents, who embrace the Dark, have the power to take over the mountain kingdom and could use her as the excuse to do so. Sergeant Vern can’t shake his desire to drink nor his anger at the Lord of Light for the disease that crippled and killed his sister at a young age. The cathedral lets him work with the class of deviants under his alias, but time is running out. The worse spring thaw of the century arrives and despite the great Cathedral of Light, the Dark has found a deep root in the kingdom. Worse, prophecies of the spiritual war manifesting in the physical come true as a mural changes before their eyes and its images step into their lives. Vern needs to accept the truth that sets him free of the curse cast upon his family so he can step into his true role. A truth that his sister professed about the Light through all her pain unto her last breath when angels took her home. Will their faith in the Light be enough to overcome their trials and save a kingdom? Goodreads -- 6th June – imPerfect Curse (The imPerfect Cathar #2) by C.N. Rowan Urban Fantasy I’m exhausted. Done in. Needing a stiff drink and about a week’s sleep. But that’s not going to happen. Because Franc is dying, struck by a curse placed on him by the Sistren Of Bordeaux, one of the most powerful groups of Talented in France. And because of our deal, it’s on me to find out what the hell is going on, and how Franc has offended the Sistren. Apart from by simply existing, of course. Except a simple trip to Bordeaux turns into a living nightmare as the past comes back to not just haunt me but to kick me square in the nuts, and I’m sent to the one place no Talented ever wants to go. Where those with magic either vanish or get ruined, left as nothing but empty husks. This time, it might not be the world at risk. It might be my very soul. Goodreads -- 6th June – Lira by Armanis Ar-Feinial Grimdark, Horror Lira is an innocent little girl, struggling to survive in a cruel, heartless world. As her father dies, she is left to fend for herself. Each day is a desperate and exhausting search for food, scouring through the Abyss, the only home she knows. Acute awareness does not always protect her from the very real risk of cannibalization or worse– being abducted. This is a horrifying reality that no child should have to face in a brutally poetic tale Goodreads -- 6th June – Girl Squad Volition (Volta Academy Chronicles #2) by Maya Lin Wang Progression/Cultivation, YA Magical girls, mystery, and martial arts! After transforming for the first time, Wren starts class at Aurin Academy, a floating school where students from across the dimensions train to defend the sovereign planets of the Kiloverse from the Cosmic horrors beyond. From learning to fly, to discovering her magical aptitude, to dealing with a trident-wielding water Volta who inexplicably wants her dead, to navigating the fraught politics of her first mission with the squad, Wren has her work cut out for her! Goodreads -- 13th June – Fat Witch Summer – Lizzy Ives YA, Cozy Fantasy Dumplin’ meets The Craft in this body-positive fantasy novel for fans of summer road trips, female friendship, and magic. Sixteen-year-old Thrash doesn’t enchant eyeliner over her lids or clear her acne with magic. She is plus-size, but she doesn’t hate what she sees in the mirror—that’s the realm of her mother, Osmarra, a slim and elegant Glamour witch. When Thrash unexpectedly breaks a mirror with her mind, she discovers she has a knack for magic and will receive one of the three sanctioned Gifts: Glamour, Growth, or Sight. The only problem is that mothers choose the Gifts, and Osmarra is convinced that the Gift of Glamour will fix her daughter’s looks. When Thrash fails to persuade Osmarra to accept her as she is, a trio of cool witches who call themselves The Lunes offer her an out. Their leader, fiery and charismatic Cresca, recruits Thrash for a road trip to New Salem University, where the girls plan to steal their own Gifts. As Thrash crosses the magical Thirteen States of America, Osmarra hot on her heels, she discovers bewitched diners, haunted tourist traps, and a secret about the Gifts that will change the Thirteen States forever. Goodreads -- 16th June – When the Stars Alight (The Essence of the Equinox #1) by Camilla Andrew Gaslamp A maiden of the stars. A monster from the shadows. A collision that rewrites their worlds. Princess Laila Rose is a fallen star in human form. A beloved guardian to humanity. Yet in spite of these fantastical origins, she has never much believed in prophecies. That’s why when a demon of apocalyptic legend is presented to her in a block of ice, she feels fascination rather than fright. Curiosity kindles into mutual desire once he breaks free of his captivity. Far from the rampaging beast of mass destruction everyone expects—he is monstrously handsome, deviously articulate and alluringly mysterious, a prince among his kind. Eager to discover his origins, Laila travels from her idyllic seaside realm into a land of unspeakable horrors, relying on her wits to survive her journey. She arrives aiming to establish peaceful contact with the aid of the besotted prince. However, it becomes clear that the heartless demon king does not desire peace at all, only war and conquest. When diplomacy fails, Laila turns to the king’s suave and manipulative bastard son in the hopes that she can inspire both him and his trueborn brother to go against their father. But soon it is her heart she must keep from being torn between their centuries-old dangerous rivalry. Goodreads -- 16th June – The Orb and the Airship (Turrim Archive #1) by Jenelle Leanne Schmidt Steampunk, Cozy Fantasy A rogue airship captain. An ambitious youth. A clash of powers beyond their imagination. With scholarships to a prestigious military school, Grayden and Wynn are thirsty for adventure. But the night before they leave, they discover the mysterious Dalmir and his arcane orb in the forsaken tower outside of town. The old man, who seems to have a wealth of knowledge of what came before and yet so little of the now, insists on accompanying them as they travel to the academy. Meanwhile, all pirate Captain Marik wants is to keep to the skies, take his due, and care for his crew. Then a straightforward pillaging mission on a ship of fresh academy students leads to betrayal from one of his own and an unlikely friendship forged by necessity. Yet this new alliance stirs up ancient foes and a conflict too terrible to ignore. Despite Grayden’s inexperience and Marik’s skepticism, working together with Dalmir is their only option. The fate of the world depends on it. Goodreads -- 17th June – Molten Flux (Flux Catastrophe #1) by Jonathan Weiss Epic Fantasy, Sci-Fantasy As the freshest conscript aboard the walking fortress of Revance, Ryza forges a name for himself in battle. The enemy are the smelters, bandits that trade in reanimated corpses. But for Ryza, the bloodshed represents a path of redemption for an upbringing he’s just escaped. His prowess with a rifle draws the interest of the Locusts, a clandestine faction within Revance’s ranks. It turns out that not all aboard the fortress seek to stamp out the plague of molten flux, the mysterious liquid metal that fills the bodies of the dead and makes them walk again. Some seek to profit. The reanimated corpses —known as autominds— are used to control enormous contraptions of magnetically enchanted metal, forming the backbone of The Droughtland’s factories. The only thing stopping the smelters from expanding their illicit industry is Revance. The Locusts make Ryza an offer. Either help overthrow Revance to do the smelter’s bidding or reveal his father’s legacy as the very thing Ryza now fights against. The former is unthinkable. The latter means death. Ryza resolves to infiltrate them and expose the mutiny, plunging him back into the murky underworld of the smelters, testing his convictions, and even leading him to the ancient origins of molten flux itself. Goodreads- -- 18th June – Enchanted Flames ANTHOLOGY (Enchanted Anthologies #3) by Various Authors YA If you play with fire, you might get burned… Dig into this magical collection of short stories and discover among the embers ten fiery fantasy tales to set your heart ablaze. Sneak past the ancient dragon as you steal from his hoard of gold and escape with the crown jewels. Journey deep into the Salamander Kingdom and follow the wyverns as they help the woodwitch to find the cure. Walk over earth scorched by a post-apocalyptic sun on a quest for survival, and find out why the firebird only eats golden apples. Watch the phoenix rise from the ashes and root for the golden dragon to woo his demigoddess in the Magic Kingdom. Goodreads -- 20th June – Guild of Magic (NYC Questing Guild) by Jon Auerbach Urban Fantasy Joining the Guild was only the beginning. Now Jen’s next quest could spell life or death. Jen Jacobs thought she was in over her head when she first discovered the secret Quest Board and the world of alchemy and magic hiding just out of sight in New York City. But after a ghost from her mentor Beatrice Taylor’s past nearly kills the two of them, Jen finds herself on the cusp of joining the fabled Guild. Except now Beatrice has gone missing, leaving Jen alone to face the shadowy organization and its 11 members by herself. If that wasn’t enough, the Guild’s chairman forces Jen to complete yet another dangerous quest to prove that she belongs: stealing a long-lost vial of Dragon’s blood that is the key ingredient to recreating the legendary Philosopher’s Stone. As Jen’s past mistakes begin to catch up with her, she’ll need to muster all of her ingenuity to survive in the cutthroat world of ancient Relics, magical dynasties, and a possible immortal secretly directing things from behind the scenes. Goodreads -- 21st June – Hierachy of the Unseen by B. Pigeon & Fell A. Marsh Epic Fantasy Demons and humans are locked in endless struggle. This is an intrinsic fact of nature. The demons believe their salvation lies in bleeding humanity of the life-force called light, while the humans are equally determined to defend it. Within the sprawling empire of Lu-nevet, the two sides have settled into an uneasy peace, employing less violent tactics. But this peace can only hold for so long. The state religion of Lukeira sends devout demon hunter Mitzli deep into the borderlands to bless the victims of demonic pranks. Once they arrive, however, they find unexpected signs of violence. They team up with irreligious hunter Veleiry to investigate—and the destruction the two uncover is an ominous sign of what’s to come. Meanwhile, shiftless demon Kor falls under the scrutiny of his vampiric commander, Mant—meaning he must actually do the work of tormenting humans, rather than taking credit from his now-ex-partner Yez. Slowly, he begins to realize that the demons’ strategy is shifting, and may be heading down a path he cannot follow. Mitzli and Kor will have to betray their respective factions if they want to put an end to the violence before it escalates. But the two of them, both outcasts among their own kind, are the only ones who know the truth. How can they protect the world if no one will listen? Goodreads -- 27th June – Temper the Dark by L. Ryan Storms Epic Fantasy, YA Servant girl Alaris Kahlanik finds out about her family’s gift the hard way when she discovers her ability to dreamwalk after being condemned to the Cells. With thoughts of escape, she uses her newfound ability to spy on the emperor and his secret search for something important. Nothing the emperor wants could possibly be good for the people he rules, and so whatever the emperor is looking for, Alaris must find first. Throlani Guardsman Kagan Liis has served the Empire since Emperor Patuk’s reign began eight years ago. He can also communicate with a vicious oracle referred to only as the Darkness. When the Darkness tasks Kagan with investigating the Servant girl in the Cells, Kagan takes on a special mission that will require more than his usual interrogation methods of brute strength and intimidation. From vastly different echelons of the same tribal society, Alaris and Kagan are surprised to learn they share one important goal—ensuring the best for the people of their island nation. Alaris discovers what the emperor is looking for — a dragon! But warning a senile dragon against impending danger is no easy task. Together, Alaris and Kagan must save a forgetful dragon and a divided nation…which may mean giving up any hope of saving themselves. Goodreads -- 30th June – Quin of Light (The Quins of Sarcaren #1) by Mark Parker Epic Fantasy, YA The quins of Sarcaren have awoken. . . Auri. Gifted with power over lightning that fascinates and frightens her in equal measure, power she must bring to the fore when horror strikes her people. Torren and Aaran. Alone, they are mere children caught in a dangerous and confusing world of betrayal and fear. Together, they are bound by a curse that will one day kill them all. Together, they will devastate kingdoms. Goodreads -- Space for more... submitted by RobJHayes to Fantasy [link] [comments] |

2023.06.07 09:16 14g0t Bloons TD 6 - Update Notes! Version 37.0
Bloons TD 6 v37.0 - Update Notes!
Rolling out now on iOS, Android, Steam please restart your storefront or be patient if it does not appear for you, these updates can take some time to be rolled out to every region due to how the storefronts are set up.
Key New Features
- New Paragon - The Magus Perfectus! (loves casting spells) Some of you know we teased this last year, but we needed more time to balance the art and design required to make this extra special, so we are very pleased to get this live! Wizard Monkey’s Paragon is designed to be a higher level strategic Paragon with powerful ability usage similar to the Doomship.
- The core of the Magus is a toggle to and from a Draining Beam which deals very small single target damage but absorbs graveyard mana as it damages and destroys Bloons
- While toggled off from the Drain Beam, Magus attacks with a powerful Arcane Spike that deals massive damage to MOABs and revives Bloons it slays, while a Dark Phoenix circles overhead attacking with Firebomb breath and a radial fireball attack
- Phoenix Explosion Ability: can be cast to consume the Paragon’s entire graveyard to set all Bloons on screen on fire for 30 seconds and summon one Zombie ZOMG for every 9000 graveyard mana consumed
- Arcane Metamorphosis Ability: can be used to consume all graveyard mana and transform the Magus briefly into an alternate form which decimates everything with a flame cascade attack; Metamorphosis lasts longer the more mana it consumes
- Magus was designed for armchair play so it will fill and consume graveyard mana on its own, but our goal was to create more actively controlled Paragon for those who will enjoy microing between Beam on and off and choosing which awesome Ability to unleash and when
New Awesome
- Happy Birthday BTD6 - On June 14th, BTD6 will celebrate 5 years of monkeytastic fun and strategy! We hope you’ll join us for the main menu changes, skinned Collection event, special Questing, and general celebration. Thank you for five amazing years and we’re looking forward to all the years ahead!
- New Hero Skin - Jiangshi Sauda, a fun new cross-cultural look for Sauda brainstormed by the art team, mixing inspirations from a favorite show and Chinese folklore
- New Map - Erosion
- Community designed advanced map Erosion
- TheWiseTroll’s original concept proposed land and water but when thinking about map colors and the little stories we think of behind each map, the concept of the polar bear walking back with the shrinking ice was too compelling to do anything else
- New Quests
- Birthday Party - Pop the Party Bloon as many times as you can before it escapes
- Blade Sauda Nowhere - Try out Sauda and learn some of her skills
- Patch’s Cheap Chimps Challenge - Beat Logs with as little cash spent as you can
- Striken Bad - Defeat the BAD on round 100 using First Strike. The spelling hurts us, too, you’re not the only one - but we had to do it!
- Least Cash and Least Tier Boss Events
- We’ve heard feedback about and have been wanting to shake up Boss rules, so here we go!
- Applying new victory conditions to Boss Events completely changes the focus while still needing the damage output and type to handle each Boss
- Time still matters, as the secondary time score will break any ties
- New Trophy Store Items
- Heroes: Geraldo Pack Mule pet, Quincy Spec Ops Drop In placement
- Monkeys: Sweden Village Flag
- Bloons: Party Hat Bloons
- Game & UI: Vortex Avatar, Sunset Samba 64 Mix music track, Quincy Arrows banner
- Nexus.gg Creator Supporter Avatar - show your support for Content Creators by using the Creator Support button on the Settings screen and purchasing any IAP
- Limited Time only {trophy items if there’s a seasonal}
- 5 Year Anniversary Avatar, 5 Year Anniversary Banner
- New CT Team Store items
- Base Props: Treasure Chest
- Icons: Overclock icon, Archmage Staff icon
- Frames: Bloon From The Dead frame, Mage Hat frame
- New Slider
- Everybody loves sliders, right?
- After lots of discussion on the team and a fair few player requests, we’ve added a ‘Projectile and Effects Scaling’ accessibility option to main menu Settings
- This is primarily for accessibility to minimize the size and brightness of projectiles and effects, especially when the screen is crowded with Monkeys and Bloons
- This is not directly a performance improvement feature, so please do not expect the game to run noticeably better - just noticeably cleaner
- We tried not to remove key game state indicators but this is ultimately in player control - if you adjust the slider and effects and projectiles make it harder to play the game, please reset the slider until the game is working the way you want
- It’s also really fun for silly screengrabs, so please post your favorites!
Game Changes / Additions
- New Party Time game theme event!
- Refactored how leaderboard scores are stored so that we could add Least Cash/Tiers ranking options for Boss Events
- Bosses on spawn will now clear the map of all existing projectiles

Balance Changes
Boomerang Monkey
This part has to be included along with the Lych Soul rework with Paragons which is finally making it in this update after necessary delays. As Boomerang Paragon’s knockback hits so many times so quickly, we need to make it more reasonable when applied to targets that aren’t immediately destroyed.
- Boomerang Paragon knockback amount reduced 3 > 1
Bomb Shooter
MOAB Assassin fills a useful role of a pure long cooldown ‘single target assassination’ in the game, but when compared to something like First Strike it feels a little lacking that it is unable to carry damage through MOAB Layers
- x4x MOAB Assassin ability passes through MOAB layers
- x4x MOAB Assassin ability explosion centers around the impact target
Tack Shooter
Blade Shooter has always struggled to find much value without MK or as a step to Maelstrom, so to give it build value on its own we feel like this should be a part of the base value on the upgrade.
- x3x Blade Shooter pierce increased from 6 > 8
Ice Monkey
Lowest tiers of ice monkey are far too effective for their cost against ceramics, with this scaling well all the way to round 100, we feel like ice duration against ceramics needs to be reduced to counter this but for now this reduction will only apply until T3.
- 000 Ice Monkey freeze duration reduced by 50% on ceramics
- All T3 Ice Monkeys increase freeze duration on ceramics from 50 > 100%
- 203 Icicles crosspath now gains camo prio
Glue Gunner
The Bloon Solver’s rework has been very popular, however, we’d like to have a better lead up into the new mechanics by introducing this earlier at the tier 4 now.
- 4xx Bloon Dissolver now creates puddles on track leading up to Bloon Solver, puddles deal 1 damage, all other stats and crosspath benefits are the same.
Sniper Monkey
This will allow Cripple MOAB to take out regular MOAB layers in one shot until round 100; for such a slow attacking single target tower we feel this will help top path flex, even if mostly for show.
- 5xx Cripple MOAB damage increased from 80 > 280
Monkey Buccaneer
Reworking Grape Shot crosspathing as it gains far too much crosspath value by T2 but then is lacking in purpose at higher tiers, double shot will only work as one extra grape however Destroyer will now apply its full attack rate buff to the grapes and Flagship will equip aspects of Grape Shot on the mini planes.
- 210 Grape Shot total projectiles reduced from 10 -> 6
- 310 Destroyer also reduced from 10 > 6 grapes
- 310 Destroyer now increases grape attack rate twice as much, matching increase to the regular attack
- 410 Aircraft Carrier planes radial attack now fires an arc of grapes instead of darts
- 410 Aircraft Carrier planes radial Emission Angle 360 > 90
- 410 Aircraft Carrier planes radial projectile count 8 > 6
- 410 Aircraft Carrier plane grape projectile speed 100 > 200
- 420 Aircraft Carrier planes radial projectile art: dart > hot grape
- 420 Aircraft Carrier planes radial damage type Sharp > Fire
- 400 Aircraft Carrier plane radials damage 1 > 2
- 4xx Aircraft Carrier missiles now follow tower target priority
Monkey Ace
Spectre is shifting a little of the ceramic bonus around into basic all damage at the cost of reduced pierce, which should make up for lack of single target damage while also making the pierce crosspath more necessary when being used for cleanup focus.
- xx4 Spectre Dart damage increased 3 > 4
- xx4 Spectre Dart ceramic bonus reduced 2 > 1
- xx4 Spectre Dart pierce reduced 15 > 10
- xx4 Spectre Bomb damage increased 2 > 3
- xx4 Spectre Bomb ceramic bonus reduced 4 > 3
- xx4 Spectre Bomb pierce reduced 30 > 20
Heli Pilot
Even with the map-range advantage, rotors are weak compared to any other constant AoE circle like this. Chinook feels like it’s near a place we are happy with now, however we want another tiny nudge on cost while keeping cash generation value the same. Pushing some higher values on the last Comanche Commander changes as the missile attack is effectively such a small portion of the tower’s total damage late game.
- 302 Razor Rotors will now benefit from the faster firing crosspath
- 3xx Razor Rotors cooldown rate 0.75 > 0.5
- x4x Support Chinook price reduced from $10500 > 9500
- x4x Support Chinook supply crate cash generated reduced $1650 > 1,550
- x4x Support Chinook max uses per round reduced from 3 > 2
- xx4 & xx5 Comanche mini's follow the target priority set on their main Heli
- xx5 Comanche Commander missile damage 7 > 15
- xx5 Comanche Commander missile moab bonus 5 > 8
- xx5 Comanche Commander mini's missile dmg 5 > 15
- xx5 Comanche Commander mini's missile moab bonus 5 > 8
Mortar Monkey
As the Rapid Reload crosspath has actually fallen behind in value compared to Burny Stuff for top path Mortars we want to try a slight stun duration increase as this buffs the base path with a larger benefit to Rapid Reload mortars as a stalling option. Mortar consistency is lacking at x3x making it tough to spend on even though x4x is fairly good, so some of the T4 rate is shifting down to help out with this. As the camo property has grown quite weak and currently Signal Flare is considered the best decamo tool, we want to push back slightly on its cost and by reducing the blast radius of the decamo area while emphasizing crosspathing for effectiveness there.
- 4xx The Big One stun duration non-MOABs increased from 0.5s > 0.75
- 5xx The Biggest One stun duration MOAB increased from 0.3s > 0.5
- 5xx The Biggest One stun duration BFB increased from 0.2s > 0.3
- 5xx The Biggest One stun duration DDT increased from 0.2s > 0.3
- x3x Heavy Shells attack delay reduced from 1.08 > 0.81
- x4x Artillery Battery attack rate buff reduced from ¼ to ⅓ (remains the same rate: 0.27)
- xx3 Signal flare cost increased $700 > 800
- xx4 Shattering Shells price reduced from $11,000 > 10900
- xx3 Signal Flare decamo radius reduced from 50 > 43
- 103 Signal Flare decamo pierce increased by 5 > 10
- xx4 Shattering Shells burn DoT deals moab bonus +5
Super Monkey
As Engineer sentries do this already, newly spawned Mini Avatars from temples will now by default match the target priority of the temple.
- 4xx Sun Temple's Magic Sacrifice mini Sun Avatars when placed will spawn with the same target prio as their parent tower
Ninja Monkey
We’re changing the Ninja Monkey Paragon’s focus as a fighter against camo, as we feel like a greater strength and tactical value against camo will be the full reveal of all camos rather than all camo removal.
- Ascended Shadow now grants global camo detection for all your towers
- Ascended Shadow no longer strips camo from Bloons with every attack
- Ascended Shadow main attack gains bonus to camo +6
- Ascended Shadow Flash Bomb Explosion gains bonus to camo +20
- Ascended Shadow Flash Bomb Shurikens gains bonus to camo +16
- Ascended Shadow Sticky Bomb Projectile gains bonus to camo +3200
- Ascended Shadow Sticky Bomb Explosion gains bonus to camo +700
- Ascended Shadow now deals 25% damage to all non-Boss MOABs that spawn
Alchemist
Alchemist Transforming Tonic is in a weird spot with the transformation unable to attack through walls when the base alchemist is able to. Also with this, including a QoL fix for the T5 that currently prevents transformed towers from functioning with target priority.
- x4x Transforming Tonic transformed alchemist can now ignore line of sight
- x5x Total Transformation towers transformed by the x5x will keep their Target Priority
Druid
While the tornado doesn't do anything to MOABs, it still spends itself on them which wastes a relatively long cooldown, so addressing this flaw. Avatar of wrath doubles the base attack speed before any scaling is applied, but this hasn’t ever applied to the 205 Lightning, so taking care of that as well. Housekeeping - even deep in the forest, it does actually make life better.
- 3xx Druid of the Storm’s Tornado no longer targets MOAB-class Bloons
- x3x Druid of the Jungle no longer pops Lead Bloons without 130 crosspath
- x3x Jungle Vine follows target prio of tower instead of strong
- x3x Jungle Vine defaults tower to strong priority when purchased
- 205 Avatar of Wrath base Heart of Thunder attack rate increased 2.3s > 1.15
Spike Factory
We’ve heard the feedback, so Spiked Mines get a tweak to get more mines exploding but with less pierce on each, to overall increase quality of life in more frequent use but less wasted pierce. This will help out with some of the problems it has scaling into late game super ceramics.
- 4xx Spiked Mines pierce increased from 12 > 20
- 4xx Spiked Mines explosion pierce reduced from 40 > 30
- 4xx Spiked Mines DoT damage increased from 1 > 10
- 5xx Super Mines explosion pierce remains at 60
- 5xx Super Mines DoT damage increased from 1000 > 2500
Monkey Village
A minor QoL for cheap Monkeyopolis creation, we included a small base amount of cash production to the generation formula.
- xx5 Monkeyopolis income formula now includes a base +$2500 minimum
Engineer
The 005 crosspath fix in the last update left XXXL Trap slower than previously even if crosspathed to 205, so we are increasing that base 005 slightly to match up the 205 crosspath again so that it isn’t any slower than before.
- xx5 XXXL Trap attack cooldown reduced from 5.8s > 4.6
Beast Handler
As our newest tower to be added to BTD6, we went over feedback for every path and made a large number of adjustments addressing a variety of points.
- 3xx Great White thrash rate benefits from speed buffs
- 3xx Great White damage increased 4 > 8
- 3xx Great White max extra damage from merge increased 8 > 16
- 3xx Great White max attack rate buff from merge increased 0.20634 > 0.38
- 3xx Great White extra thrash knockback duration from merge increased 0.1 > 0.2
- 4xx Orca thrash damage increased 20 > 30
- 4xx Orca thrash max extra damage from merge increased 40 > 60
- 4xx Orca max attack rate buff from merge increased 0.37829 > 0.38
- 4xx Orca thrash radius increased 20 > 24
- 5xx Megalodon price reduced from 55,000 > 45,000
- 5xx Megalodon thrash radius increased 30 > 36
- 5xx & x5x Beast handler paths are now overclockable
- x4x and x5x Max Merge Bonus: Overkill damage on MOABs now distributes to the children of that target
- xx1 Gyrfalcon path deals +1 damage to Regrows to stop accidental infinite regrow farms
- xx3 Golden Eagle pierce increased 12 > 15
- xx3 Golden Eagle pierce range increased 24 > 30
- xx3 Golden Eagle ceramic pierce penalty reduced from +3 > 1
- xx3 Golden Eagle Max Merge Bonus: Now grabs MOABs with pierce penalty +14
Gwendolin
Removing the stacking aspect of Gwendolin’s burn damage over time, but increasing the damage as she levels up so that it actually scales up in power now.
- Lv6 Gwendonlin main attack DoT stack count 0 > 1
- Lv6 Gwendonlin main attack DoT damage increased from 1 > 2
- Lv9 Gwendonlin main attack DoT damage increased from 1 > 4
- Lv10 Gwendonlin main attack DoT damage now increases by 1 per additional level
Adora
While they are complicated individuals, Adora can now fully appreciate the sacrifice of the newest Monkeys in the struggle against the Bloons.
- Lv7 Blood Sacrifice can now be used on Beast Handlers
Admiral Brickell
We aren’t happy with strats that start looking like exploits with frequent sell-replace loops.
- Upon Selling Brickell - all of her placed Mines are now expired along with her as well
Psi
Psi’s stalling out of the end of round is an odd mix of useful / annoying / out of control, so we are for now capping this to a 3 seconds of overtime stalling. Psi’s Psychic Blast ability also has weirdly low pierce for a long cooldown ability with no damage, we are increasing the base pierce greatly but it no longer increases in pierce at Lv7 since the extra pulse brings more pierce anyway.
- If no Bloons are left unpopped on screen aside from ones Psi is currently holding & destroying, these Bloons will be destroyed after a maximum of 3 seconds
- Lv3 Psychic Blast pierce increased from 50 > 200
- Lv7 Psychic Blast pierce increased from 100 > 200
Event / Boss / Relic / Knowledge
- All Lych Soul variations can now be stunned/slowed by paragon tier upgrades
Looking Forward Five months of 2023 done and dusted, which feels to us like it has zoomed by, perhaps because the Auckland office where the BTD6 team is based has only just reopened after the severe flooding at the end of January. All of Update 36 and the majority of Update 37 were completed while again working from home, but we’re very excited to have the office repairs done, the flood wall almost finished, and the ability to work shoulder to shoulder again on fun new things for the monkeyverse! Here’s the latest gaze into the crystal ball:
- Update 38 Key Content
- New Boss - Phayze: another all new Boss concept and play style, not giving any other hints apart from the name itself
- Summer fun: a new Brickell hero skin and a waterpark map aimed toward Intermediate to help keep northern hemisphere summer cool
- Quests: continuing to build new quest system features and adding a few new Quests to the list
- Update 39 Key Content
- Map Editor: under construction since last year with internal systems testing happening during 38.0 development, we are super excited to put map creation tools in player hands on as many platforms as possible when it goes live
- New Hero - Spirit Walker: another unique design that we’re sandboxing already to make sure it has as much balance and art iteration as possible, again no hints other than the name
- Update 40 Key Content
- New Paragon - Monkey Sub: we’ve tagged sub as the next Paragon, so tell the Navarch to stop hoarding all of the Portable Lakes!
- Stretch Goals - Boss Rush Team Event and CT Themes: lots of unknowns 3 updates out but we have strong plans for a new Team event and new parameters for Contested Territory that will make each CT more dynamic - anything that we don’t get done by end of year will have strong groundwork for next year
- Console
- Getting closer to submission on Xbox and PlayStation but this has been slow going. We’ve added another programmer and are working even more closely with platform partners to get through our last issues and launch as soon as possible, but that’s likely at least another 2 months. Switch is still a consideration depending on response to Xbox and PlayStation, as it will require additional bespoke development.

2023.06.07 08:13 Irbif "Failed to join quest'"
I just finished Mh Rise and just started with Sunbreak. Towards the end of Rise I started getting this error while trying to join quests from the board, more and more. I thought that since I was in the late game and did not have Sunbreak, the player pool could be low. Now after getting Sunbreak, the problem persists. Is it because now I'm in the early game and the player pool is still low? I play on Xbox and checked the connection a thousand times, everything works. I can play 1 in like 10 mission online now, any help?
