2016 chevy cruze cabin air filter
In cabin filter replacement

Had my Santa Fe in for an oil change and they said it needed the in-cabin air filter replaced. They wanted $39 so I said no and grabbed a bosch for $12 at the parts store. When I went to put it in, I realized I had the glovebox locked. So the question is how did they get in to inspect it since I just gave them the fob and they had no physical key? It's a 2018 as far as I know there is no inspection window or some sensor that would tell them it needed changing. So, I am guessing they got lucky and it was dirty or they just look and see when they asked me last time then ask me again.

| 2014 Cruze, could you guys pinpoint what's ticking? 80k miles, Mobil 1 oil and filter past 40k. The ticking isn't noticeable until you open the hood. It's been there forever. Has no codes, drives fine. Fiance's car, I'm not a chevy guy. Thanks! submitted by Independent-Ad9095 to AskMechanics [link] [comments] |
