| The RX-124 TR-6 Woundwort would be a 3-Star Support or General Type unit. The Woundwort will be a transformable Unit, it's main weapon is the Composite Shield Booster and it's secondary is the Vulcan Guns. The sub weapon being the claw mode from the Composite Shield Booster. I'd say this unit would be a Cost 500. I don't know what else to say, add the thicc bunny gundam submitted by AlanG00-zafan to GBO2 [link] [comments] |
2023.03.30 07:01 based_trad3r A big thanks
The TLDR is that I really appreciate this community; it enabled me to come very far in a short period of time turning my office into a proper work station when before all I had was 7-14mbps internet on a good day, With your collective help, I've run cat wires, spaced things out, installed Dream Machine SE, 24 PoE Pro Switch, and a handful of U6 E's and U6 Mesh! Thank you so much!
I just wanted to thank everybody in this community. From watching from the sidelines and occasionally daring to post, I've reall¥ learned a lot. I'm not ready to do an install for someone, maybe even myself ¥et, but I've learned a lot about networking and the hardware just by reading through the posts, questions, and debates. I started off with no network knowledge. I had one Asus router for a 5000sqf house with stone walls and no wired ethernet anywhere in the house; it was just... bad. Fast forward to the second half of 2023-early 2023, and I can proudly say I have vastly exceeded my wildest expectations. I have a Dream SE, a 24 POE switch, and two Synology NAS units (one is for home and famil¥ use, and the other is focused on my primary business - doing start-up super bootleg, working on the early stuff on a NAS before upgrading to something more serious.
Of course, if I shared it, there would be many criticisms of my build and decisions I made - some of which were forced on me and I'm working to correct - the electricians, when they ran lines, just left them all hanging in the same area of the Rack, with RJ caps on them, rather than female, so working on converting them to female jacks to use patch cable on the POE to the lines up into the house. It was a little irritating, but whatever they knew, they had a somewhat easy mark. The next hurdle is to figure out what CAT wiring they did the house in, I really worry they cheaped out, but unfortunately, when they were in the house to wire, I was on the other side of the country. So I will be inspecting, and I anticipate calling them back to re-run higher tier cable (this is largely due to the imminent fiber connection getting lit up to my house with 10Gbs Up/Down. It might be different from the prettiest, but it's coming along.
The large increase in bandwidth coming aside (and yes, I am aware few, if any, of my devices will be able to even support that speed - except the key one, my mac studio, which I use in Parallels to run Windows due to most financial market software runs on windows. With all the tools that should be running, I am hogging up a lot of data (and CPU power...). I need to run about five trade systems - pre-trade/ post-trade, communications suites, market pricing, DOM, very low latency charting, compliance filings, etc. But that’s all besides the point. What I really want to do is thank you all very much. Not long ago, I was getting 14mbps in my office ( i recently lost access to a commercial office), which was a disaster, but now, having read this and exploring ubiquitin thoroughly, I have a serious network running in the house, all wired, using Dream SE, 24 PoE Pro Switch, some smaller switches at the ends of the lines for rooms that have more than one ethernet plugin option. I have 5 U6 Enterprises and 1 U6 Mesh (Pepsi can). Spread throughout the house, and I have to say, WHEREVER I am in the house, and this is a large stone house, basement, first, second, and third ( attic) floor, and I never drop below 660-700, wherever I am, which is true, not even sure how to put it into words, a miracle. Especially given the price points. Yes, expensive, but you really get what you pay for, and the learning curve isn’t impossible. I'm a very happy user, and I hope that maybe someday soon I can help answer questions all you great people have!
PS. I mentioned 10Gbs coming to where I am, just a few blocks away now. I will need to return to the drawing board on some hardware. The U6 Enterprises support 2.5, so on the APs, I'm content with that. I want to ensure a 10GBbs connection is going to my workstation (mac studio) and that my NAS units play nice with it. I have to figure out how to upgrade a NAS to reall¥ take advantage of a full ten connection, right now m¥ NAS units are quite simplistic, they are just entry-level NAS units with standard NAS HDDs, but I'm ready to make an investment into a beefier system and integrate 10Gbs ports for the highest speed traders possible. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again, everyone, so much. I owe this group a huge debt.

2023.03.30 06:57 Throwaway032923 Workplace Issues and HR Confidentiality Breach
Dear LegalAdvice, I am seeking legal advice regarding a series of incidents that have occurred at my workplace, a Fortune 500 company in the United States, where I am currently employed as a principal level employee in good standing. I have experienced situations involving HR confidentiality breaches and other concerns, and I would appreciate your guidance on the appropriate course of action. Please find the details of the incidents below: A few years ago, I reported a senior employee to HR for serious misconduct, which led to their termination. I was promised anonymity by both HR and the director to whom I reported the issue. However, a manager (not in my direct reporting line) later broke HR confidentiality and revealed my identity as the person responsible for the report, along with specific details from the report, to multiple of their subordinates, including my significant other at the time who was among their direct reports, several of whom notified me in writing with details of the report they would not otherwise have access to and expressed concern for my physical safety. This breach was potentially personally motivated as it followed an incident where this manager, while drinking as a self-professed alcoholic, took me aside and confessed their love for my significant other, and suggested I end my relationship with them. This caused concern for my safety, ongoing health issues, significant financial costs, and affected my personal and professional relationships. In a separate incident, now several years later at the same company, I reported my current director (not involved in the above) to HR for a potential child abuse situation that occurred during a recorded Zoom meeting. Despite my expectation of confidentiality, my supervisor informed my director of my report, and my director acknowledged this to me (verbal, recorded). Since then, my professional life has become difficult, with exclusion from communication and the recent issuance of a company laptop with restrictive monitoring and tracking software, with instructions (verbal, recorded) from my director to violate company policy in the usage of this laptop for the performance of my responsibilities. These incidents have caused me significant stress, the former resulting in multiple cardiac events (I am in my early 30's) and a diagnosis of PTSD with ongoing medication. I have been actively seeking new employment, but my professional network has diminished due to early retirements. I am concerned about the potential impact on my health if I remain in my current position. I am considering seeking legal assistance in order to address these issues and protect my rights, but I am uncertain about the appropriate steps to take. My questions are as follows: Should I consult with a lawyer regarding the HR confidentiality breaches and the impact on my professional and personal life? If so, what type of lawyer should I seek counsel from for these concerns? Are there any legal actions I can take regarding the incidents mentioned above, or would it be more prudent to focus on finding new employment as soon as possible? I appreciate your time in reviewing this matter and any guidance you can provide. I look forward to your response and further discussion on how to best proceed in this situation. Sincerely, Throwaway032923

2023.03.30 06:56 Thankkratom Frustratingly bad portion on Cannabis in China’s Report on Human Rights Violations in the United States in 2022
I read the entire thing, and damn this part was bad. The rest of it was almost perfect… but this is decoupled from material reality. It ignores that the US people agree and ask for legalization. It also ignores that China itself didn’t ban cannabis until the 1985 when the UN and US asked them to. Ignoring the racist origin of the “Controlled substances act” was wrong. One of the architects of the law even admit it was a way to attack black Americans and other political opponents such as college kids. You don’t have to agree with drug legalization to know that objectively the start of the drug war with the passing of that law in 1970 was not about public health.
They totally mischaracterize the drug problem in the US by focusing on “marijuana” and ignoring that not a single drug death is due to marijuana, nearly all are from fentanyl, or stimulants like methamphetamine and cocaine. There is absolutely no connection between states with legal weed and states with high drug overdoses. Legal weed does not cause drug overdoses to increase. Alcohol use has increased dramatically and goes ignored, despite its real health problems. I have a lot more to say about it but reading their whole report was enough phone time for me.
Here’s the section, thought y’all would agree it’s bad.
The U.S. government actively promotes the legalization of marijuana regardless of people's health. Marijuana is a controlled narcotic drug by the UN International Drug Control Conventions. In the 1970s, the United States promulgated the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), which classified marijuana as a federally controlled substance. The federal and state governments of the United States have failed to regulate drugs and substance abuse and even pushed for the legalization of marijuana under the influence of lobbyists groups, resulting in more and more young people becoming victims. In their book Can Legal Weed Win? The Blunt Realities of Cannabis Economics published in 2022, Robin Goldstein and Daniel Sumner, researchers with the University of California, Davis, underlined that one of the pipe dreams behind the legalization push is the intention to make legal cannabis a new cash cow for the government through tax. Marijuana sales in the United States have exceeded 30 billion dollars so far, and the U.S. marijuana market is expected to reach 65 billion dollars by 2030. According to the data released by Open Secrets, from 2018 to 2021, some marijuana and products-related enterprises and trade associations in the United States spent more than 16.6 million dollars on political lobbying, with an average annual expenditure of about 10 times that of 2016; In the first three quarters of 2022, more than 5.6 million dollars were spent on marijuana lobbying. Enterprises and organizations profiting from marijuana trade money for power, and form interest groups with politicians, thereby letting drugs and substance abuse going unchecked, a striking demonstration of Washington's failure in social governance.
Drugs and substance abuse endanger life and health. According to a survey released by U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, 59.3 million Americans over 12 years of age abused drugs in 2020, of which 49.6 million smoked marijuana. According to public information on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), nearly 40 percent of American high school students use marijuana for a long time. According to a report released by the U.S. National Institutes of Health in August 2022, 43 percent of young Americans have smoked marijuana in a year, 8 percent have used hallucinogens, and 11 percent have smoked marijuana every day, the highest level in record. According to a study released by the Manhattan Institute for Policy Studies on August 4, 2022, the number of Americans dying from drugs and drug abuse has increased dramatically in recent years, by more than 100,000 per year. More than 107,000 cases involving deaths from drug overdose occurred in the 12-month period ending in August 2022, according to data from the U.S. CDC. Marta Sokolowska, the Deputy Center Director for Substance Use and Behavioral Health in FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, pointed out that drug abuse has become one of the most devastating public health crises in the United States.

If you’re feeling burnt out and discouraged, this is for you. Just like so many of you, I’ve been working full time and studying for this god forsaken test. I took it the first time November ‘21 and I’m planning on taking it this July. The last few weeks I was feeling like my goal score was not attainable (170’s), and I hadn’t take a full length practice test in a while. My separate timed sections were in the high 160’s, but I just was feeling so burnt out. I took almost three weeks off and started up again last week. Friendly reminder that we got this and just take a couple of weeks off!!!

2023.03.30 06:50 OudSmoothie Gosen Inferno Smart (2022) review
| Heya, back here with another review of a weird & wonderful racket! This time we have the Gosen Inferno Smart. Let's have a look. YMMV I have here a 4u 2022 version of the Gosen Inferno Smart. It has been strung with Yonex Aerosonic string at 25 lbs. I have additionally placed a thin overgrip on top of the polyethylene grip protector. I am swinging this racket with a body that's 185 cm and 94 kg. Background Gosen is a Japanese racket sport equipment company that has been around since 1951. It is quite conservative with distribution and releases new products at a glacial pace, and thus it isn't well known or commonly encountered outside of East Asia. However, within its home region, its rackets are well respected and very popular. The original release of the Inferno sold out in Japan and Taiwan instantly. Not to mention the rare MiJ Ryoga line racket releases - these are considered collectible by enthusiasts, such is the quality of manufacture. Gosen is known for the quality of its shafts and its well considered details. The Inferno range is MiT (I think by Fleet OEM?) and launched with the original Inferno back in 2016. It was one of the most daring releases for Gosen - a new (and weird) looking spiral frame! A series of modifications on this base model were released subsequently, including Plus, Lite, Touch, EX, etc. In 2022, series has a soft relaunch with the Smart (direct upgrade of the original Inferno), Raid (direct upgrade of the EX variant) and Air being released. Let's check out the Smart today! Handling The Inferno Smart feels great in the hand, with its medium flex 7.0 mm shaft and rigid head giving it a whippy feel in motion - hits are stable but somewhat bouncy & soft, in a good way. The snap-back of the shaft is incredibly quick, and there's no lag on big hits even if the shaft doesn't have the usual rigidity of most pro-tier rackets. Overall, the Smart plays comfortably and gives you plenty of feedback, whilst being relatively forgiving for an intermediate player. It is ever so slightly head heavy. It's a great racket for whipping, rather than solid bat smashing (think Astrox). Keep in mind tho, the handle is rather stiff - with polyethylene coating on wood - and very thin at G5. Most people will need a thicker overgrip on this. Control The Smart produces good accuracy and consistency across all types of shots, though it doesn't have the pin point precision on big hits of similar quality rackets with a stiffer shaft (Thruster F variants, for example) that very advanced players may be seeking. Net play and drop shots/lobs are very easy with the Smart. It also plays well defensively and can handle smashes & pressure very well. One interesting thing with the Smart is that my steeper shots are more reliable. Speed The Inferno frame is not only strong, but also very quick. It's not an absolute speedster, but is noticeably quicker than power rackets and many all-rounders, to the point where you'd need to make timing adjustments if you're coming from an Astrox, for example. It's fast enough to be formidable at the net in doubles play, though it may still be one step behind absolute speedsters like the Jetspeed 12 ii I reviewed previously. Power The Smart offers decent power ceiling and great power generation, but it is by no means a boom stick. You'd need to get the Raid version of this release, with its stiffer head & shaft, to have an offensive oriented racket. What the Smart excels at is the ease of generating a harder hit and the slightly steeper angles on a smash you can achieve. It offers an easier and more forgiving power transfer, with a flexible but snappy shaft and a stiff & steady head - the birdie can be whipped, rather than batted. Technology The Inferno line of rackets, at its core, is built around the Inferno head shape, which is the most dramatic yet still functional frame shape I've seen. Gosen claims the shaping gives the head increased strength by 13% and increased impact stability and torsion strength at 6 to 7%. Indeed, it's while being 4u at the lightest (the Smart coming in at 82 grams), most Inferno rackets have Gosen endorsement to be strung up to 32 lbs. The Smart is constructed from Mitsubishi'a Pyrofil and M30 carbon. All-hot-melt process was employed to ensure better structural uniformity throughout the frame, which ideally should (and certainly does) lead to better shock absorbance and feedback quality. The Smart includes a new feature not present in the original, which is a polyethylene grip cover over the wood handle instead of a traditional factory grip tape. Which means you can continuously reapply overgrips (or even replacement grips) without worrying about what's underneath. The Smart also has an improved matt paint compared with the glossy original, making it a much sexier racket IMO. It has has refined weight distribution and utilises a new resin, making it stronger than the original Inferno but one gram lighter overall. Quality of Manufacture The Inferno Smart has a level of craftsmanship that rivals the top tier products from the Big 3 brands - it looks sleek, flawless and very premium. Which is not surprising, given Gosen has excellent R&D, and actually take the time needed to refine a product, rather than push out a new model every 3 months. Aesthetics The matte black coating is sexy! This is my favourite looking racket of all time - almost Giger-esque... well, as much as a badminton racket can be. Keep in mind though, because the spiral shaped frame does have sharp edges, any impact during doubles play might be hazardous! Value With a RRP of 26000 JPY, the Gosen Inferno Smart is certainly a luxury racket and not a value-oriented product. I picked it up on discount at 75 GBP, and at that pricing the Smart was a steal! Who is it for? The Smart is for players of all proficiencies who have an all-around style of play. It excels as a general doubles racket. The Smart is very suited to recreational players - it offers a fun and well rounded experience. Who is it not for? Players who are looking for absolute power or prefer a stiff shaft will not gel with the Smart. The shaft will likely prove too flexible for very advanced players. Pros: Very high quality racket Truely for all levels Well balanced all-rounder Snappy but stable Faster and more powerful than you'd assume Relatively forgiving and very fun Looks otherworldly awesome Stringing up to 32 lbs Cons: Limited distribution/hard to buy Very thin and hard handle at G6 May be too flexible for very advanced players submitted by OudSmoothie to badminton [link] [comments] |

2023.03.30 06:49 hashtag-blessed Reports from separate hospitals re: my mom's endometrial cancer do not match?
My mom was diagnosed with endometrial cancer the week before Christmas last year. That hospital was great. She went in for a reeeeally swollen leg, which was deep vein thrombosis. The blood thinners for that made her bleed out terribly, so she went back to the hospital and that's when they were like, oh, that's cancer. From their notes:
ASSESSMENT: 60F with a bleeding stage III endometrial adenocarcinoma, grade 3 with necrotic Lt external and common iliac LNs. Of note, she recently had an acute DVT and requires anti-coagulation
RECOMMENDATIONS:
We reviewed the patient's diagnosis and treatment options at length. She has a high grade endometrial cancer. Unfortunately, her case is complicated by bleeding with the ongoing need for AC from DVT.
To address vaginal bleeding and severe anemia, tentative plan will be for two fractions of radiation, delivered on 12/21 and 12/22, which will hopefully stop her acute vaginal bleeding and allow for discharge. We will then re-simulate the patient for IMRT planning and treat with preoperative radiation over ~5 weeks starting ~12/27. This will be followed by hysterectomy and lymph node dissection with Dr. Redacted a few weeks after RT is complete.
Simulation scan was performed today. A 2nd scan will be performed in our department likely on Thursday.
Given her extensive nodal involvement, we will plan for a PET scan as an outpatient to rule out distant metastatic disease.
She did radiation as prescribed, but had to go to a different hospital for the rest of her treatment because of her insurance after she completed radiation. That's where they did her hysterectomy, and the notes from that are:
FINAL DIAGNOSIS: UTERUS, CERVIX, TUBES AND OVARIES, TOTAL HYSTERECTOMY, BILATERAL SALPINGOOOPHORECTOMY: RESIDUAL CARCINOMA, SEE CAP CANCER SUMMARY.

The second report mentions nothing about the lymph nodes, correct? The first report says "extensive nodal involvement"? Or does "no nodes found" mean there was nothing malignant on them? Did all the radiation work? The second hospital's documentation is pretty shitty compared to the first, so if anyone can interpret this for me I would be really grateful! I don't want to be a Karen or a Dr. Google at her follow up, but I want to make sure I ask the right questions if anything is amiss here. It's very different messages going from one provider to another. (P.S. We never got a PET scan because her insurance wouldn't approve it, they would only allow a CT scan that got no mention of her lymph nodes)

2023.03.30 06:48 ElectricL3af Need someone to celebrate with me about my practice AP test
TL;DR: took practice AP chem test without studying and having 2 untaught units and still got a 4
So, I am currently in my second semester of AP chemistry, and the AP test is coming up soon. Last semester I ended with a 98 in the class and got 100% on the final.
In preparation for the AP test, we just took a practice AP test, which was the 2019 official AP test. We have not finished learning intermolecular forces, and have not done any kinetics or electrochemistry. I decided to use this test to gauge what I needed to study, so I did not study for it at all.
We obviously started with the multiple choice section, and when my teacher announced the halfway mark (45 minutes left), I was surprised because I only had 3 questions left out of the 50. I used most of the rest of the time to double check, but didn't get around to all of them before I just turned it in because it was the practice test anyways. Ended up missing 2 questions I would've gotten if I had double checked, and missed plenty of the ones I had no idea how to do.
We then did the free response portion, and an entire question was electro, but I somehow managed to score 1 point from it out of 4. I finished this section with 25 minutes remaining, and did not double check anything.
At the end of the day, my teacher graded mine, and gave it back to me and I had gotten a mid-low 4. The threshold for a 4 was a 70/100 and I got a 73/100. A 5 would be 82+/100.
Edit: I am also planning to pursue chemistry as my degree :) the college I am going to does not offer chemical engineering so I will probably go straight chem since I love it anyways

2023.03.30 06:46 ouryouus 21-day itinerary check: Kansai + Chubu
Planning a 3-week solo trip to Japan in November, this will be my first time going! This is a fairly low-budget trip and I plan to stay in hostels most nights—I’d like to keep my expense per day under 100 USD. Main interests are art, history, traditional music, and nice views.
General questions: - I have a moderate soy allergy. Soy sauce is fine (thank god), but miso/tofu/less processed soybeans are not good. Is it worse etiquette to leave miso soup untouched or to ask for it not to be served? Also, are there any foods where soy might be lurking but not be obvious (the brown flour on mochi, idk what it’s called but those little soy curds that get mixed with vegetables, etc.).
- Thoughts on goshuin? The idea is super appealing to me, but the costs seem like they would add up very quickly—has anyone tallied up their goshuin-related expenses so I can get a feel for what I might be looking at here?
- I am ethnically full Japanese but the extent of my language is like basic greetings/English loan words/food (I’m gosei, lol). Should I not even lead off with Japanese in any conversations/interactions? I don’t want people to assume I can actually communicate effectively.
- Additional day-specific questions in italics! Also open to any restaurant/bar recs!
- Sunday, Day 1: Osaka > Fukui
- Land at Haneda early morning, approx. 2 hour layover before flight to Osaka -- Is this enough time to get through customs/immigration + pick up pocket wifi?

- Asuwa Shrine
- Fukui Osagoe Minka Garden
- Monday, Day 2: Fukui
- Yokokan Garden
- Daihonzan Eiheiji
- Ichijodani Asakura Ruins
- End the day in Ono for easier access to the Dino Museum area tomorrow—explore area if there is extra time, or just head to hostel if not
- Tuesday, Day 3: Fukui

- Matsui no Mori Museum — Saw some internet reviews saying that you are allowed to play the drums. Can anyone confirm/deny? Do I have to bring my own odaiko-appropriate bachi or do they have some there (these would take up so much luggage space…)?
- Visit a sake brewery — Recommendations on a particular one (or more than one)? Is there an expectation that you buy a bottle after a tasting?
- Sunday, Day 8: Takayama
- Miyagawa Morning Market
- Takayama Showa-kan Museum

2023.03.30 06:43 Thankkratom Extremely unbased section in China’s Report on Human Rights Violations in the United States in 2022
I read the entire thing, and damn this part was bad. The rest of it was almost perfect… but this is decoupled from material reality. It ignores that the US people agree and ask for legalization. It also ignores that China itself didn’t ban cannabis until the 1985 when the UN and US asked them to. Ignoring the racist origin of the original US cannabis ban was wack. They totally mischaracterize the drug problem in the US. Alcohol use has increased and goes ignored, despite its real health problems.
