I'm sorry, but I need to get this off of my chest. The show has a lot of flaws that I'm seeing hardly anybody talking about, but I will say this, that this is the last time I'm talking about the show. The Owl House is just a show that was not meant for me. I used to love the show, but I began to be more put-offish around it during the start of Season 3. I will admit that there are a lot of good things about the show like the backgrounds, the thrilling action sequences, some good characters moments (key word:"some"), and wrapped up on a good note. The flaws became too glaring to me to enjoy it and I just quit on it as a result. I will say this, most of these issues are because of brain-dead Disney screwing the creator over, and a great number of story-lines have to be scrapped because of it.
The character writing is heavily flawed. I kinda explain how Luz hardly developed during the whole show, because most of the show develops other characters or put out unneeded plot-lines in my last post, but this problem goes further. Lilith, one of the big baddies in season 1 was too easily forgiven after cursing eda in their childhood and almost her and Luz killed, then season 2 had her in 4 episodes, have her absent in middle of the season with a mention here and there, and in the last episode, they gave a harpy form just to pass it off as fan service. She was just a wasted opportunity that the show hardly finished, just like Luz. Amity just became Luz's girlfriend who was OK with her constantly lying to her. Willow and Gus barely got any form of development and when they did, it fell flat. Raine is just a boring side character. And Vee is just an unneeded character that took screen-time from characters that actually needed it. This comes from the show having too many characters and little time to do with them. And because of that, they became static.
The story is absolutely cramped. When season 1 was just making preparations for the story arc, season 2 and 3 just flat-out rushed it out. Throughout the most of the season 2, there would be these plot details like the Titans hunters, The collector, That creature from e204, the time pools, Luz's witch cloak, Luz's titan form(yes, that one too) all of that, the show just add them because of shortening. Because these plot details will never be utilized properly. There's also the coven heads, who are just plot points for the show and not characters, only 5 of them were used and the others were just sidelined. And there's also the unneeded drama, which is the reason why ! quit the show after season 2. Luz's stupid guilt complex over helping Belos, although it was the whole demon realm that help him into his raise and she was just a puzzle piece, and her fear of everybody hating her is spoon-feeding the viewers unnecessarily drama.
The Owl House is just Disney wanting a Steven Universe show, but there is nothing pleasing to Disney, so they have to screw over the creators, the show, and the viewer. I really like the show, to the point that I joined the Sub-Reddit. But the show just has these problematic issues that I can't get over.
TL;DR: To me, The Owl House is mediocre at best. It's not a god-awful show, far from it and I can understand why most people can like it. It just has a lot of flaws took me out of it.

So I have a WFH job. I'm 31 years old, my wife (29) is an unemployed SAHM, and I'm currently living with my parents. Today I decided to lease a workspace in the city so I could actually do my job for the duration that home renovations are going on. I parked by a parking meter and was about 10 minutes late trying to pay for the meter again, and in that short 10-minute span, I got a parking ticket. The ticket cost me about the entire day's pay. Then later I got a call from my brother asking where I was. I told him about my wife and our mom telling me that he didn't want me at his office, and I ended up leasing a spot downtown since I couldn't work from home during renovations. I didn't tell my brother about the ticket.
He then says that I can keep coming by his office and not worry about it. At this point, I already got a lease, I already got a parking ticket. All in all it's been a really bad day so far.

My emetophobia and OCD have been absolutely terrible recently so going out hasn't been easy at all. Hello. This post is regarding my cat, Magic. He has been misdiagnosed over 7 times in the last 6 years and was most recently diagnosed with chronic kidney failure, which I do not believe to be accurate. I will do my best to provide details.
The current diagnose was a few days ago where an X-ray and bloodwork was done to determine Magic’s weight loss of 1 pound. The last time I saw this vet was around December and I believe the weight loss happened much more quickly, perhaps less than a month. I unfortunately was unable to obtain a copy of the X-ray (which my vet told me was clear) and am still working on it. The bloodwork will be listed below but I will say she told me that Magic has high BUN and CREA, with the rest in normal range.
Magic was brought to the vet 6 years ago because he started obsessively licking off all the hair on his chest and stomach. The vet at the time went through everything before determining it to be stress and sent him home. Magic to this day has a naked torso, although I never see him even so much as clean himself anymore. The vets tell me he must when I am not there but because of my unique situation I am with my cat 24/7 and the only time he would be able to do so is when I’m asleep. Seems a bit paranoid for a cat.
I next brought Magic to the vet because he started vomiting white foamy bile. I once again went through repeated testing before the vet told me it was because he didn’t get fed on time.
I normally have my cat free feed but took away his food at night because mice had infiltrated the home and I still, unfortunately, have been unable to remove them. I gave him back his food at night but the problem continued to persist for about 1 week or 2 weeks every month for a year.
The vet then prescribed hydrolyzed dry food (royal canin) and the problem mostly disappeared as I stopped giving Magic anything else, including treats sadly. I later combined this with aging 12+ wet food (royal canin).
I suspected IBD at this time.
The third time is when Magic was brought to the vet for an inner ear infection. Because of Covid it was difficult to make a vet appointment and by the time I did Magics problem was severe. I was told by a different vet that this will be a recurring issue with tresaderm and ear cleanser being needed for the rest of his life.
The vet at the time strangely thought that Magic’s seizure episodes were not related and refused to treat the ear until the problems could be fixed.
She suspected IVD and I removed all tall furniture from the house because she said that if he jumped his spine would be permanently paralyzed for the rest of his life. She gave me cortisone, which surprisingly fixed the problem. I gave him this for about a week.
She then said that Magic also had three other disorders that I can’t quite remember. I switched vets after this because she cost me over 3,000 dollars and did not fix his ears, which I came in for. The other vet did however.
Magic has a current ear infection, sadly, but no cancer in his ear, thankfully.
I recently took Magic in as he was losing weight and had a diarrhea episode. Before this I took him in with crying at the litter box but the vet told me he was likely going senile and was not constipated.
Anyway, he now had diarrhea, maybe caused to the lax-stat I picked up off of chewy because I thought he had constipation. His poops were small and hard. I will say I only used a tiny amount, even smaller than recommended because Magic does not handle laxatives well.
His diarrhea smelled horrid, but he did not poop very much, likely because I feed him mostly wet food nowadays like his royal canin aging and tiki occasionally. I switched to tiki recently as I thought Magics body could now handle treats after fixing his ear finally, but perhaps he does have allergies after all.
He also had trouble eating which I thought might be a mix of Magic missing 90% of his teeth and general fussiness as Magic is finicky and picky and as often been bored of food after awhile, ever since he was a kitten (with the exception of Purina that he was raised on). He would still eat wet fine so I gave him more of this.
He then had a severe bout of pee, literally covering the entire litter box as if he had been unable to pee all this time and that’s what the crying had been about. The entire litter box was soaked, for two days after and then normal pee resumed. I felt guilty after this. I had thought it had been constipation. He also started vomiting white foamy bile again.
Magic then started drinking and eating normally. Nevertheless I took him to the vet. She diagnosed him with kidney disease after the X-ray and bloodwork came back, though she was pressed for time and did not hear any explanation I tried to offer.
I’m not saying Magic could not have kidney disease but I do not believe he does. After the IV the diarrhea subsided and he has been much happier.
He has no more symptoms as he has started eating kibble again and now eats like a kitten. In fact, he has been consuming everything. I’m worried he has been starving all this time. He eats so much. I think his weight will return quickly. He drinks a normal amount of water. He no longer has foamy bile episodes.
Magic is a fixed male cat, around the age of 16. Unknown breed, short hair, black coat. Current body weight of 8.7

I recently got a urinalysis done and the vet told me that his protein loss was 'on the high end of normal' and that he had a PH level of 9, which could be indicative of urinary tract disease.
Please help me lower the PH value of his pee. She gave me antibiotics but right now we're not even sure if he has a UTI. I'm still going to use it obviously but the high values in his pee could give him kidney disease if I don't treat him quickly, if they haven't already. This value is after a week and a half on urinary care food, so it was likely much higher initially.

I am currently undergoing treatment for my second ectopic pregnancy. I got my BFP and a few days later I knew something wasn't right, but explained it away as me just being overly anxious because of the first ectopic.
I can't fault the hospital that treated me this time around at all. I was treated with compassion, understanding and patience despite the fact I was at the hospital 5 days out of 9 because I knew something wasn't right. I was given treatment options and time to consider and ask questions, chose the injection and I'm currently waiting to go for my day 3 blood tests to see how it's working. I have absolutely no concerns that they're going to make sure I'm okay.
The first ectopic was so different it's frightening. I got my BFP and did what we all do, got excited and started looking forward to a future. Then light, brown staining started and didn't stop for 4 weeks. I phoned a different hospital and spoke to a nurse who was rude, dismissive and as it turns out, not qualified to work in early pregnancy. Initially they tried to fob me off with I don't love in their catchment area. I pushed back and said I would have had to drive past their hospital to go to the he hospital they wanted me to. I was then told it was probably just my period or implantation bleeding, that it was all fine and that I didn't need pain relief when I asked what was safe to take. When I was told I didn't need painkillers, I hung up in anger. At no point did they even attempt to check me over, it was phoned based diagnosis. No discussion of warning signs for an ectopic pregnancy whatsoever.
5 days later, I was at a different hospital for a scan because of the bleeding. Before I was scanned, I described the symptoms I'd been having - pain right up my back, not being able to go to the toilet, extreme dizziness, sweating and extremely painful cramps. I hadn't even got on the scanning bed and was being talked to about an ectopic pregnancy off the brief chat about symptoms. The scan showed nothing in my uterus and a lot of free fluid in my stomach. It was a ruptured ectopic pregnancy that needed urgent surgery. It was initially planned to be keyhole, but had to be converted to open surgery because they couldn't see what they were doing because of blood. I had been bleeding internally. I now have a 14 inch scar across my stomach.
I followed the first hospital's complaints procedure. They dragged their heels, labelled it a serious adverse incident, changed their mind, brought me up for a meeting the week I would have given birth, got me to cooperate with their investigation then lied and said they didn't treat me because I didn't fall into their catchment area. They'd already accepted my forms for prenatal care there. They were overly concerned with documenting that I accepted their apologies and not too concerned about the fact that they missed an ectopic pregnancy by not examining me and that I ruptured. Everything I had said is prefaced with the word "alleged" and they have basically made the emotional healing drag out for 10 months.
Their complaints procedure is complete now. Their final report caused so much anxiety, pain and anger that I took 6 weeks off work, then changed job to something that didn't require me to be emotionally okay. I was a support worker before this and absolutely loved my job, but the people I supported deserved better than someone who got anxious when the hospital was mentioned and broke down completely because my partner had to see a doctor with the possibility of going to the same hospital. He is fine now fortunately.
Having been through another ectopic, I've seen exactly how bad the hospital that didn't treat me actually was. I knew it wasn't good, but the degree of sheer negligence is boiling my blood now.
Here's where I want your opinion... I'm extremely angry and pursuing the complaint further. I don't believe their investigation has resulted in a fair conclusion - to be extremely blunt they absolutely failed with duty of care in my opinion.

I just need to get this off my chest because today was CRAZY. As most of you know there’s bad air quality alert (~180 last time i checked) in some areas, and that includes mine. We have a lot of disabled partners and even one that’s pregnant, and everyone was feeling sick because of it; they refused to let us close the drive through window. My SM literally kept telling us we couldn’t close it over the phone, because policy, even though it got so bad partners had to wear masks. I think it only got so bad for us because we’re constantly running back and forth across the floor (My DM said it wasn’t that bad but he was in there for like 10 mins).
Eventually once one of our borrowed (/past) partners raised hell about it to them about the dangers, our DM eventually agreed to let us leave, but still we aren’t allowed to close the drive through window. Most of us walked out of course, however i tried to stay because they refused to close the store when most of our partners left and i didn’t wanna let my others partners including my shift (who was forced to stay) to deal with the rush. But then i had to because i almost passed out on the floor (i have a history of breathing issues). It didn’t matter to them and they stayed open (even till now) but only after having me put a cone onto drive through to stop people coming through (however still refused to close the store + mobile with limited partners on the floor). Apparently they’re about to reopen drive through rn too (friend of mine working told me)… anyone else think this is so unreasonable?

I have been smoking for 10 years and have gone up and down in usage. My girlfriend quit over a year ago due to anxiety, but never pressured me to quit.
About a month ago I started buying smaller bags or even joints at a time to have less around, or just smoking with friends when we hung out.
I stopped keeping anything at the house about 2 weeks ago, but still had residual green around. I took about 4 days off last week, and this week haven't touched it since Saturday.
I dont plan on quitting permanently, but now I enjoy it more with friends and only really feel the urge the day after I smoke. I can feel my lungs healing each day and and have started to have a better outlook on life (although still very much a nihilist)
I think the key was keeping myself busy when I wanted to smoke, but I am wary I might fall back into daily usage.
Anyway, it can be done, and I hope this is a new chapter in my life. I don't see myself quiting permanently, but I do hope to lessen my dependence.

Magic then started drinking and eating normally. Nevertheless I took him to the vet. She diagnosed him with kidney disease after the X-ray and bloodwork came back, though she was pressed for time and did not hear any explanation I tried to offer.
I’m not saying Magic could not have kidney disease but I do not believe he does. After the IV the diarrhea subsided and he has been much happier.
He has no more symptoms as he has started eating kibble again and now eats like a kitten. In fact, he has been consuming everything. I’m worried he has been starving all this time. He eats so much. I think his weight will return quickly. He drinks a normal amount of water. He no longer has foamy bile episodes.

I recently got a urinalysis done and the vet told me that his protein loss was 'on the high end of normal' and that he had a PH level of 9, which could be indicative of urinary tract disease.

Please help me lower the PH value of his pee. She gave me antibiotics but right now we're not even sure if he has a UTI. I'm still going to use it obviously but the high values in his pee could give him kidney disease if I don't treat him quickly, if they haven't already. This value is after a week and a half on urinary care food, so it was likely much higher initially.

I didn't do meth to cope with how busy I was. I did all of the above because I had so much extra time thanks to the meth, and decided to fill it by learning the Russian language. All of it. In one night.

Back in Gainesville, I had a group of associates (drug addicts often don't have "friends") whose favorite thing to do was get really high and go out to Paynes Prairie (PP) at midnight. PP is a unique natural feature in north-central Florida. It's a vast grassland ringed by dense, spooky live-oak hammocks and marshy areas, and also a few residential houses that run some cattle. It's very big, very wild, and mostly untrailed.
We'd go out there at midnight and take off all of our clothes, including our shoes. We'd split up, and spend the rest of the night walking alone and totally naked in the darkness. We were definitely high AF, but we weren't dangerous. We were weirdos and artists, members of punk bands, and also, sometimes, River Phoenix.
This was in the late '80s and early '90s, so there were no cellphones, and we never ever brought flashlights. Your eyes would adjust to the moonlight very quickly, and the few trails out there were made of fine white sand, which gleamed even when the moon was new. Once you got off the trail, though, you were on your own, and many dangerous things bit us while we were out there.
One night, I was 1/2 way down the main trail away from the parking area when I heard voices. Lots of voices. It was 2 am, and I was alone and naked. The moon was totally full, and the trail I was on seemed to radiate its own silver light. The voices belonged to young men and women, and they were laughing and shouting and saying, "Duuude!" and "Ew, HEATHER! That's SOOOO GROSS."

This might be a problem for me only but I feel like I explored too much of totk before doing the dungeons. My biggest regret playing through breath of the wild is that I didn't get any memories so when totk had dragon tears(memories), my first instinct was to get a lot of them fast.
So a bit of a disclaimer this point on its spoilers, but the TLDR in the end isn't.
So the dragon tears spoil almost all of the regional phenomena and the phantom ganon fights which just made me bored to do the story I felt like it was just a quest to tick off and not a main story. Since it spoils you the whole reason of saving the princess. At the same time I think this is also a bit of a problem in totk's design that all of the dungeons have the same story that is on the dragon tears and that a main quest that's more like a big side quest is ruining the main main quest is quite disappointing.
I'm not hating on totk I'm just angry at myself for choosing to go for the dragon tears before the dungeons and a little bit angry that I couldn't feel the story since it was just a cutscene that I watched 10 times already and the events after that.
It's also not that I didn't love the dungeons I just couldn't be bothered with the implications of having to do this to unlock a piece of the puzzle on a puzzle I've completed already.
The part that I blame nintendo for is that there isn't even one warning on telling you that the dragon tears are a huge spoiler and also that the 4 main temples tell you the same story instead of doing a different story maybe compared on the amount of temples you have already done.
I found myself getting bored on the temples after I beat them where the sages say the exact same words and the same cutscenes just change the name of their tribe and the voice acting.
Tl:DR: Don't do all the dragon tears(especially the last one) until you have beaten the regional phenomena or it will ruin your main story experience.

Hello, I have a downstairs bathroom sink with a drainage issue. To begin, I re-did the P-trap under the sink myself and confirmed it is not an S-trap. It is also not clogged in the p-trap, and when I snaked the drain (at that point, from after the dis-assembled P-trap) I got at least 10 feet in without finding anything.
The symptoms are that the drain seems to "fill up". If I run the sink for about a minute, water begins backing up into the sink. It will stay there, sometimes for days, and then be gone later. What could cause this? What should I look for? The opposite side of the bathroom wall is unfinished, so I can look at how the rest of the drain is built with ease.

M16A3- I have little issue with the M16A3. It has a plethora of barrel options, most grip options, although I personally would have loved to see the MGL laser sight added. Puzzlingly the OG red dot 1.25x was removed and the only 1.25x sight options available is the kobra sight or TR-1 thermal. Overall this is what I expected AOW attachment options to look like on vault weapons minus the puzzle exclusion of sights I'd consider to be std across the board like a 1.25x red dot or K8 holo.
ACW-R- This is where it already goes off the rails to me. There are plenty of sight options, minus the K8 holo again. However, the barrel options are underwhelming to put it lightly. You have a whopping 4 choices. Standard barrel, wrapped suppressor, 6KU suppressor, and a warhawk compensator. There is no champion muzzle break, tactical compensator, or arcom tactical muzzle brake which IMO is pretty bad. The underbarrel attachments are not much better. The only new attachments are a bipod and STNR laser sight. You get 6 total options. Standard underbarrel, bipod (yay?), flashlight 😑, STNR laser sight, foregrip (worse than it was before), and a LS-1 laser sight. To not even get the LGW or BCG light grips at minimum is ridiculous IMO and I'm just curious at why even the MGL laser sight couldn't be considered considering the lack of options altogether. Also the UI is wrong on the extended mag. It isn't 36 bullets its 40 for the extended mag. How does know one catch that?
A-91- The sights are fine unless you like the K8-holo like me, the barrel options are fine too as it covers what I'd consider to be the standard for AOW weapons. It has the champion muzzle brake, wrapped suppressor, warhawk compensator, arcom tactical muzzle brake, tactical compensator, and 6KU suppressor which I would consider to be the minimum all vault weapons should have. What I do have a problem with is the under barrel options. There is literally nothing new. It is std underbarrel (nothing), a flashlight, LS1-laser sight, and a forgrip which again is worse than what it was before this update. I find it laughable that the A-91 can't even get any other grips or laser sights when the foregrip fits. You can't convince me a BCG, LGW, or MGL laser sight wouldn't fit if the large foregrip does.
M416- Sights are fine, K8 holo users get disappointed. The barrel attachments are pathetic like the ACW-R. You get the standard barrel, wrapped suppressor, warhawk compensator, or 6KU suppressor. Thats it. The underbarrel is where DICE really lose me. Now I'm sure there are people who love under barrel GL/shotgun options, but how much time was spent and was necessary to add every M320 option (frag, smoke, bucks, and armor) AND 4 options for the M26 (mass buck, dart, frag, slug) option while failing to add a single STNR or MGL laser sight. At least there is the option for a BCG and LGW grips, but to only have the LS-1 laser sight while offering 8 under barrel weapon options feels like bloat when I rarely see those options being used.
MTAR-21- Our first sighting of the K8 holo. As with the other vault ARs no real complaints about the sights on offer. The barrel options though are just a real head scratcher. Once again it seems the champion muzzle brake, arcom tactical muzzle brake, and tactical compensator are too cumbersome to add, but we get the ability to attach the type 4 heavy suppressor and the PB heavy suppressor. Had the other attachments been included I wouldn't have a problem with the heavy suppressors being an option, but outside of just wanting to use them for the cool factor who is attaching the suppressors that dramatically increase TTK? Who was saying "you know what the MTAR-21 really needs? The heavy suppressors!"? The underbarrel options are abysmal. You get 5 whopping options. Standard (nothing), flashlight, LS-1 laser sight, foregrip, and LGW grip. You want to use a better laser sight or BCG grip? Kick rocks.
AEK-971- You get the K8 holo option, the OG red dot, and anything else you'd want really. No complaints on the sights. The barrel options cover the minimum I'd accept so no real complaints from me. With it being a Russian weapon I'd expect this to be a candidate for the PB heavy suppressor, but it doesn't. Not a big deal it at least covers all the compensators, muzzle brake, wrapped, and 6KU suppressor. The underbarrel as with most of these guns is underwhelming. We have the GP-30 frag, smoke, buck, or LVG option, a bipod 🫠, forgrip, or LS-1 laser sight. That's it. Once again no BCG light grip, LGW, MGL laser, or STNR laser sight.
Once again I had low expectations coming into this update to vault weapons, but IMO for not ever vault weapon to have at minimum the warhawk compensator, tactical compensator, champion muzzle brake, arcom tactical muzzle brake, wrapped suppressor, 6KU suppressor as barrel options and for underbarrels to not offer at minimum the BCG light grip, LGW grip, foregrip, one of either the MGL laser sight or STNR laser sight is IMO a complete lack of effort from DICE. You cannot convince me that a gun that can fit a forgrip on its underbarrel is incapable of fitting one of those other options listed above. Sure I'm probably nitpicking that the K8 holo isn't included in every weapon, but that is a std site on most weapons in the game.
Overall DICE somehow managed to fall short of my already low expectations for the vault weapon AOW attachment update. To know that we get this sad of an update on vault weapons and that to do so will cost us getting more vault weapons this season makes the update feel even worse. I will have even lower expectations on the rest of the weapons as this season progresses I guess.
