Hello everyone Quick story: Me and my ex girlfriend fought over a stupid thing and from there many other things came out. I was the one who wanted to close our relationship and I came up with things like: we're too different and I'm hurting you. Well, the real reason I wanted to leave her is just the second one. Unfortunately I'm struggling with depression and I started therapy, but our relationship was becoming all about me and my unhappy life and that was making her unhappy too. She wanted to help me but she couldn't so I decided that it was best if we broke up to avoid her sufferings. A month passes by and one day I go talk to her, telling her that I couldn't accept losing her as a friend and I wanted to be friend with her. But she answered that we had to stay away from each other and that she was feeling better without me, that I was right on all the things on our relationship. After that, 2 weeks passed and I couldn't take it anymore. The situation was the following: the two of us living in the same college and going to the same university, seeing each other everyday, with friends in common, and at one point she posts a story with one of my best friends with an heart. My first reaction was: "really? She thinks that I will be jealous of my friend, he wouldn't do nothing with her" But then I thought that maybe she didn't do it for me, she just did it and I was overthinking it. But then again, she never posts any stories, especially with other people, so why would she do that? (I'll leave the answer to you, I still haven't figured it out) The day after I asked her to talk again, went to her room and it was very normal, like two friends talking about their lives. My personal opinion is that she still loves me, but she convinced herself with the things I said and maybe her friends and family said, about our relationship being difficult and us being too different. The battle for Bakhmut, the Ukrainian city which Russia has spent months trying to capture, is "Stabilising", says Ukraine's commander in chief.
On Facebook, Lt Gen Zaluzhnyi said that while the situation on Ukraine's frontlines "Is the toughest in the Bakhmut direction...due to the tremendous efforts of the defence forces, we are managing to stabilise the situation".

I would like to start off by stating this is my opinion.
United Aviate is a new program. Being accepted is a privilege on its own, but with that of course it’s reasonable to feel frustrated with the waiting. I feel as though that people went into this with a timeline and plan set up in their heads when they got their (conditional) acceptance by aviate and now that it’s not going according to plan they are getting frustrated.
I think it’s important that we show better maturity and patience in regards to the words and post that are being placed as it is in no one’s intentions to make anyone wait. I’m sure they are working as best as they can to get everyone into the school and have them eventually take their first flight as a paid employee at united.
It can be good to use this blog as a source of information and questions or concerns we have that we can all help each other with. I know when I read the emails sometimes I can be uncertain about the meaning of something so I then check on this page.
But,
I just don’t think that it’s helpful to constantly talk or demean the program we are all eagerly waiting to start in. I also don’t think it looks good on us to be so negative or demanding towards a program of their future employer.
Don’t get me wrong I’m right there with all of you on being at the edge of my seat waiting to get a class date, but I think there is a classier way of conveying our questions and concerns.
I hope everyone could understand where I’m coming from and understand what I’m trying to say. So with that I can’t wait to see all of you at the school sometime!

My gf and I have been together for almost 3 years now. I love her very much and I actually think she’s the love of my life. There’s only one thing that I absolutely can’t stand about her and it’s how awfully disgusting their house is. I live pretty far from her which is why whenever I visit I tend to sleepover for a week max especially during the lockdowns before. Whenever I visit I can’t help but cringe because of how dirty everything is. She lives with her mom and two younger brothers and they currently have 8 dogs.
Just to give you guys a visualization of how messy it is I’ll lay out in detail what you’ll see on a regular day once you go inside their house just so everyone knows I’m not exaggerating: as soon as you open the front door stench of dog shit and pee will hit you like a truck, their living room floor is filled with it and it sometimes extends to the dining and kitchen area. The sink in the kitchen will probably be stacked with unorganized dirty dishes which sometimes extends to the counter tops as well. The dining table and the kitchen island is filled with spilled watefood debris and leftover food. The refrigerator is unorganized and filled with leftover food that hasn’t been touched or reheated in days. Even the kitchen cabinets and the walls (which are white) are stained with grime/brownish stuff. Once you go upstairs to where the bedrooms are, the hallway is also filled with poop and pee and carcasses of whatever it is the dogs decided to rip up and play with (e.g. comforters, the loofah from their bathroom, cardboard boxes, plastic bottles etc.). The bathrooms (which have no locks and doorknobs) are filled with wet dog fur and random stuff that the dogs destroyed since they like hanging out there. The living room is basically inhabitable because of how there’s constantly poop everywhere and things are scattered everywhere. I also have a hard time eating at their dining room most of the time because of how I can see and smell all the dog shit and pee (I asked her once if they were used to it that it doesn’t bother them and she said yes) . They’d only clean it once a week or sometimes even longer than that so just imagine how much dog shit and pee accumulates. The dogs are also very filthy and are only given baths once or twice a month and I even saw one drink water directly from the toilet bowl. They also love playing around in the bathroom and get all wet and muddy. I used to consider myself a dog lover since growing up, my family and I loved adopting strays and take care of them (I currently have 2 dogs, both potty trained and regularly bathed) back at home who I love very much. But seeing how they let the dogs get so dirty and shit everywhere and anywhere, I can’t even bear to pet them or go near them. They used to only have 2 adult dogs: a husky which can only be bathed once a month apparently and a golden that stinks most of the time and is barely given a bath as well, but then the husky gave birth to 6 puppies which made everything worse of course. Even way before when they only had one dog, the house had rats because of how messy everything was. The only time I saw the house get really clean was when they re-hired a house helper that used to work for them in one of the houses they’ve lived in before. Now that that helper left, everything is back to shit again. Literrally. They originally planned on selling the puppies which is such a relief since there’d be less poop around but then they decided to keep 2 so now there’d still be 4 dogs that aren’t potty trained.
I would always try to help out by doing the dishes, cleaning after myself, giving the dogs a bath whenever they’d allow me to, cleaning her room (the only place in the house I could stand since the dogs don’t go in there when I visit so there’s no dog poop and pee), etc. I also used to sweep and mop the floor before they had so many dogs but I can’t now because I hate the smell of dog shit and pee (my gf also knows this). I don’t know what to feel anymore because even though I am very much turned off from how dirty everything is in their house, I feel bad because I know that most of the time my gf is the only person who cooks and clean in their house. Her two brothers are still young (16 and 13 y/o) and they can’t be relied on much when it comes to chores, her mom is a single mom working 2 or more jobs most of the time which is why she also can’t look after the house most of the time. In out house we never had a house helper but we managed just fine which is why I was also shocked when I first saw how messy and filthy their house was.
The only reason why I am asking for advice here on reddit only now even though it’s already been 2 years of this is because before, I would only visit so I only had to bear with it for a week max and go back to my clean and comfortable home. However, something recently happened with my family and I (too long of a story to include here) which is why in the meantime I am living with my gf in her house just until I can work things out and find a place of my own. I feel like such an asshole to even complain about this and I would understand if people here call me one too since my gf and her family welcomed me in their home and I know how hard it must be for my gf since she’s currently stressed about college as well. Again, I still try to help out by doing the all dishes everyday, cleaning her bedroom, mopping and sweeping the floor when it isn’t covered by poop, etc. But I really can’t stand it anymore and even if I do find a place of my own already, I know I’d still be visiting her from time to time since it’s always been that way in our relationship (I visit her more than she visits me) so the problem would still be there. Please help me because I really don’t know what to do anymore.

Dpi does not matter. Your in game sensitivity value matters more. Theoretically higher dpi has less input delay but with diminishing returns at very high numbers. Best case example would if 400 vs 1600 dpi. Redundant if you go higher. As for in game sensitivity, the lower values tend to produce smoother mouse movements. The whole “lower dpi causes skipping” is a myth, it’s actually the high in game sensitivity value that causes it since people use higher values when playing with a lower dpi. But use a lower in game value when playing with a high dpi, so mouse movement appears smoother and wrongly attribute it to dpi being the factor.

Hello everyone, I move to Tokyo on Jan 7th this year. I have been living at this apartment for 2 months. I don't understand Japanese at all.
My neighbor looks like 60-65 years old woman and lives alone. She starts talking in a loud voice from 2am in the morning, she bangs on the wall multiple times. Sometimes she goes to the balcony, and talks in a loud voice.
One time, at 4 O'clock in the morning, she kicked on my door and rang the bell ring multiple times. She did the same with other rooms on the same floor. All the people including me complained to the management company several times. But, they haven't taken any actions yet.
They told me they contact her by phone initially but found her really strange. And they said they will visit her with a ward officer. When I emailed them to know what's been decided, they responded ward officer did visit her but no progress so far.
I am not sure how to solve such a weird scenario. Even if I go to police, will they be able to solve it? I can't speak Japanese. Since she is mentally retarded, i doubt even if they confront her, anything will change

Ingredients:

• 2 kg Maris Otter malt
• 200 g Crystal malt
• 100 g Fuggles hops
• 50 g East Kent Goldings hops
• 10 g Nottingham yeast

Instructions:

1. Steep the Maris Otter malt in 5 liters of water at 65 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.
2. Remove the malt from the water and rinse it with 2 liters of water.
3. Bring the water to a boil.
4. Add the Crystal malt to the boiling water and boil for 5 minutes.
5. Add the Fuggles hops to the boiling water and boil for 60 minutes.
6. Add the East Kent Goldings hops to the boiling water and boil for 15 minutes.
7. Remove the hops from the water and let it cool to 20 degrees Celsius.
8. Pitch the yeast into the cooled water and stir to aerate.
9. Put the bag of malt in the water and seal the bag.
10. Leave the bag in the water for 60 minutes.
11. Remove the bag from the water and rinse it with 2 liters of water.
12. Boil the water for 5 minutes.
13. Pour the boiled water into a fermenter and add the malt bag.
14. Top up with cold water to 10 liters.
15. Ferment for 2 weeks at 20 degrees Celsius.
16. Bottle the beer and condition for 2 weeks at 20 degrees Celsius.
17. Enjoy!

I delved into wine questions etc as well , it was scary , most was accurate but a few things were off and I flagged those . Don't agree with it's Nottingham yeast suggestion though lol.

My spouse and I were placed with our first foster child last year, at the time he was 10 mo old, severely malnourished and on a feeding tube. Bio parents had to complete a 24 hour pcu stay but failed to do so. During their stay they demonstrated they were able to successfully set up and operate the feeding tube and pump, however would never do more than 1 feeding consecutively, and were actively lying and trying to convince the nurses not to feed him. There's a language barrier and parenting classes were waived as well as a psych eval. We have a document in which the hospital stated the child will be repeatedly hospitalized or die if he remains in the care of the parents. The only training or education that's been provided to bio parents is how to operate the feeding tube and pump. We've pointed this out to our case worker multiple times over the past year as well as the GAL and there's been no follow up to offer the parents any sort of extra information or training. Last year our case worker mentioned to us the GAL had never conducted an investigation into this case. The current plan for reunification is to start expanding visits then move to overnight visits and just hope for the best.

Just watched 'Farzi' and I'm blown away by the kind of intensity and range Shahid Kapoor possesses. I believe OTT brings out the best in actors and is more often than not, purely content driven.
Now, we all would agree that it's the lack of a good plot that led to the streak of failures for SRK, storylines and screenplay that couldn't utilize the potential he packs. We don't have to see far beyond FAN and Raees to appreciate his capabilities as an intense performer.
That being said, do you believe SRK should stick to theatre and sail through his career doing whatever he loves to, or can a thrilledrama series benefit from what SRK can bring to the table?
Of course there can be more reason for SRK to stick or staw away from theatre releases.

Is valheim worth as a singleplayer? I love minecraft but after countless hours it kinda bored me. Now I Look fof something now where I can build stuff. How much do I acutally need to farm to Bild a nice and big as house, or get the best weapon/armor? Is if a grindfest where I have to do the same for like 15 hours just to get started or is the farming exciting in some way?
