2023.03.30 20:19 Ordinary_Cat_6490 Should men be able to stop a woman they had sex with from getting an abortion?
I think men are the more important part of reproduction, even though women are very important to it as well. A man's sperm is needed to make a baby. Women are basically dirt. You can water it all you want but it needs a SEED planted in it if you want a flower. The seed is the man's sperm and the flower is the baby. In that logic I believe men should be allowed to stop a woman's abortion because it's HIS seed that will be destroyed if the abortion is carried out.

2023.03.30 20:13 wildistherewind Let's Talk: The critical reevaluation of Fleetwood Mac's Tusk
This is a spin-off of yesterdayâs wider discussion about double albums. Fleetwood Macâs Tusk is now considered a classic, typically showing up on those âbest ofâ mega lists we all love to hate. But it wasnât always this way. On release it was seen as a commercial failure. In the United States, only two of the albumâs six singles broke the top 10 (compare that to the four-for-four top 10 singles from 1977âs Rumours). In England, only the title track was a hit single. In a contemporaneous review from Robert Christgau for the Village Voice, he mostly praises the album (though writes that it âshows Stevie Nicks up for the mooncalf sheâs always beenâ - take that latent misogyny as you will) and gave it a score of B+ (Marianne Faithfullâs Broken English also received a B+ in the same review). Even in the 00s, I remember reading that Tusk was still seen as a dark horse, a fan favorite album, code for an album that regular people didnât like.
Letâs talk first about what went wrong. Rumours was, of course, bounding with inter-band romantic drama but, in the lead up to Tusk, stories were written about the financial drama during the recording of this album. In the end, it cost $1.4m to make ($5.6m in todayâs money) as the band spent 10 months in a studio built for recording the album. Contrast that with the economic recession in the United States from 1979-1983. Fleetwood Mac were blowing money fast while average Americans were waiting in gas lines. Something that isnât talked about much is the cost of this album upon release: $16 for a double LP ($64 adjusted for inflation). As a matter of fact, two weeks after the release of Tusk, Stevie Wonder released his double album Journey Through The Secret Life Of Plants. With two experimental albums with few radio singles and a giant price tag, it is easy to feel like the buying public were getting screwed.
I have a theory about how Tusk has turned its legacy around, and itâs a simple notion, streaming has made it so you can listen to the parts you like and not listen to the parts you donât like. Fair weather fans can have their own personal favorite deep album cut (âHoney Hiâ for me) without the burden of having to listen to all 70+ minutes every time. In this way, many people can say âoh yes, I like this albumâ without really liking, or even knowing, every part of it. We share in the illusion of consensus. Obviously, Fleetwood Mac super fans will like it because it exists and music writers will like it for its scope. Streaming unspooling the tracks makes it approachable in a way a double album monolith is not.

2023.03.30 20:12 MireilleCockrell So-Fi Revolution, REPUBLIK Raises 3.5m. Airdrop incoming?
REPUBLIK, a content platform that uses integrated smart contracts to supercharge monetization tools for creators, announced today that it has raised $3.5M in its seed funding round, bringing its valuation to $75M.
The latest investment includes funding from founder of âThe Blockâ, Mike Dudasâs 6th Man Ventures, Arcane Group, Define Ventures, Enjin, FBG Capital, Mirana Ventures, Sora Ventures, and Justin Sunâs Tron Network.
REPUBLIK's key focus is creating a new level of interaction between creators and their communities, allowing creators to make 100% of what they earn and rewarding audiences for the time spent on their platform. The platform features familiar web 2 tools (social functions, tipping, content subscription, streaming) supercharged by web 3 tech (blockchain, smart contract), Standing strong at 100k users on the platform, REPUBLIK is a up and coming project that everyone should know. The platform is already avaliable on both iOS and google play store, with fun and interesting content already being published on the platform, my take would to be to check it out and join their socials while we see how this platform eventually plays out. Overall, I'm bullish on the project

2023.03.30 20:12 zhwlsfw Fermenting mustard and liquid dropped below the seeds..what do I need to do?
I started some fermented mustard about 2 weeks ago. I followed a recipe from Insane In The Brine that someone posted on here I think. I noticed this morning that the brine in the jar has dropped below the top of the seeds and other ingredients. I am using a 1/2 gallon mason jar with a silicone nipple lid. I think some of the liquid came out through that, but I'm guessing most of it absorbed into the mustard seeds.
Is it going to be safe to eat when this is done? (The recipe said to ferment for 1 month). Is it too late to add more brine, or remove some mustard seed? What options do I have?
I also have some peppers fermenting for hot sauce that I'm keeping an eye on to make sure this doesn't happen with them but would love to know how to troubleshoot if that does happen!

2023.03.30 20:11 FormerFruit I just had my first serious confrontation with someone - I feel sick to my core.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this in advance but if anyone has any opinions please share.
So my male employee and I were nearing towards the end of the trading day when a youngish woman about 30 came in, she was acting totally shifting but we both agreed there was nothing much we could do but keep an eye on her. We took it one at a time because it looked like she was either drunk or on drugs and didn't want to provoke her. I knew in my gut she wasn't going to be buying anything yet she was filling up a basket of stuff willy nilly, a load of random crap. I do believe in giving everyone the benefit doubt so I was being extremely cautious. So I don't know what she was at. Even if she was going to run with the stuff the amount of them would have made it very hard for her to run. She was carrying plants when she came in and was asking for another plastic bag off me to carry her plant.
Employee came to me pointing at his stomach indicating her clothes, which looked like they were stuffed with stuff. We don't know for certain of course and were both standing there sick with worry not knowing what to do. Of course we having no fucking CCTV. But it all made sense, she was repeatedly asking me for a plastic bag before she went around with the basket so that one seems obvious.
We decided to close early to try and get her to leave and she wouldn't, she apologized saying she'd only be a second. Couple of minutes later male employee swears he saw her put something under her jumper so he confronts her about it. It got aggressive quickly, a screaming match at the door. As a female I tried to be the mediator and said I'd talk to her about it at the back out of his sight and if it was a misunderstanding, it was our responsibility. I tried to talk to her from woman to woman but she wasn't having it, she got angrier and angrier and by now we called the police. I asked her to show me what was in her pockets numerous times as did she and she wouldn't, she was ranting all kinds of crap - For example she needed to get home as her mother with cancer has two weeks to live, she has a son at home and she wasn't showing us what was in her pockets as it was personal stuff such as cigarettes and stuff from prison. I was so frightened by now so could barely half understand what she was saying.
She ran off down the back of the shop screaming and crying and my male employee followed her saying she was going to destroy the place. She only kicked the basket of stuff she picked up. I rang the gardai again asking where they were as I was so frightened. I warned my employee not to lay a hand on her. She came back to the door absolutely enraged screaming in my face and showed me her pockets, nothing in there. I apologized and she was screaming threats, solicitor, her fella would come in to kick us to death. I feel sick. We let her go, the situation was bad enough and there was nothing else we could do.
A Garda came a couple of minutes later and we told him what happened. We have no solid proof but my employee knows what he saw about her at her pockets. We went around cleaning up both upset about what happened and at the back we saw a lot of stuff that didn't belong there, small enough to fit in a pocket. Boom. No proof of course and doesn't mean anything but it looked like when she ran to the back before my employee caught up with her she tore her pockets out and emptied the stuff, there were pencils there and when we were confronting her at the door we heard something that sounded like pencils.
Typical of no CCTV. I don't know what she was act when she came in but the way she was asking for the plastic bag before she went around picking stuff up sounded like she was going to fill it up and do a runner. That was why I was reluctant to give her one, plus she had half her stuff in one plastic bag (plants), why didn't she get a plastic bag for the other plant wherever she got it from? I asked my colleague if he touched her once, he didn't. The first thing I thought when she ran down the shop was that she'd scream rape or something if he laid a finger on her. We were also looking at the stuff in the basket, nearly everything in it was something WITHOUT a security tag. I knew she wasn't going to spend any money, it's a fairly expensive shop, she looked like she could barely afford to wash her hair.
Christ I feel sick, I honestly can't tell if she was just lashing out because she was in a corner or if her threats were sincere. How could we have handled this differently? We should have called the police before we confronted her, we should have had CCTV, we should probably have just let her go as we had no solid proof. I was shaking when we locked up, colleague is telling me not to worry about it.
Any opinions appreciated, be as honest as necessary please.

2023.03.30 20:09 MireilleCockrell So-Fi Revolution, REPUBLIK Raises 3.5m.
Overall, I'm bullish on the project.

2023.03.30 20:09 smthgdbrn Blank canvas, please help!
| Hey, new gardener here! Iâve just replaced my fence and I really need some help! Can anyone advise how I can transform this blank canvas? I want to have bushes on the side with the new fence but Iâm unsure what type or where to source them as Iâm on a pretty tight budget. I was thinking of buying big follower pots for the decking and filling with lavender for the bees. My neighbours need to replace the back fencing but Iâd like some larger bushes or trees to add more privacy. Apart from that Iâm completely stuck. Any advice would be gratefully accept, especially on where to buy affordable plants! Thank you đż submitted by smthgdbrn to GardeningUK [link] [comments] |

2023.03.30 20:07 tables_AND_chairsss I watered an avocado pit for 7 months but it wasnât sprouting, so I almost tossed it. âTil I noticed roots beneath. Pls read on for my trash to treasure storyâŠ
| This is my avocado pit that I saved from a Trader Joeâs avocado that I ate, roughly 7 months ago. Iâve never had any luck getting an avocado seed to sprout, but something compelled me to place it inside a tiny Japanese teacup and water it. I maintained the water level for 7 months, but I felt like it wasnât changing much. And I was lazy and didnât bother checking how it looked underneath very often. Eventually it started to look like another one of my lazy failed gardening projects run amok, so I decided to clean my apartment one day. I was doing a deep clean⊠like Marie Kondo style cleaning. Toss or donate objects that no longer spark joy inside of you. I was certain that the avocado pit had become a piece of trash/compost. It didnât have many nubs sprouting on top and I kept it in such a dark corner of my bedroom (due to space limitations) that I simply assumed I hadnât provided it with enough proper care to grow into a seedling. But then⊠just as I pulled it out to end its life of sitting in a teacup bath of water, I noticed the roots beneath it. They were big and STRONG! Despite the low levels of light, the avocado seed wanted to LIVE! So I quickly shifted gears and placed it inside a pot with soil. And I moved it to a window where it could receive better lighting. And I believed in my little avocado seed. Even though the nubs on top looked like lil runts that were too deformed to sprout⊠I gave the potted seed love and water for 3 weeks⊠roughly the amount of time that I spent simultaneously recovering from a bad case of covid. I loved that avocado seed with all my heart. And now? 3 weeks later, the seed is starting to sprout. I believed in it. What I previously considered to be a piece of trash was now my cherished treasure. The first photo in the series here is how the seed looks today. Iâm so excited for it to grow its first leaf. The TL;DR of this story is⊠sometimes you might perceive something as being a piece of garbage. But if you take the time to look at it differently and give it some love and attention⊠you never know if it might become your new treasure. And thatâs my avocado pit story. đ„ đȘŽ submitted by tables_AND_chairsss to gardening [link] [comments] |
2023.03.30 20:06 kibhen How to get leaf/plant symbol during raid/rupture?
Hi everyone,
Me and my friends usually run raid/rupture with fresh tickets yet none of us shows the leaf/plant symbol now.
When we do the runs, none of us gets any bonus drops because noone from the party has the leaf/plant logo.
Does it have any set conditions for it to appear? For context, all of us are at 300k power.

2023.03.30 20:06 the_kind_1 What is this plant and how do I take care of it
| I just got this plant (from somewhere) but don't know how to take care of it. I want to save it but the leaves keep drying off... Even some buds dried off. I am watering it everyday but I feel I am not doing it right. It has pink coloured flowers which were a little flat in full bloom. Please help if anyone has any idea. 2023.03.30 20:03 FollowMeToHelloThere Crazy start on TSL Earth Huge with new Victoria, managed to snatch Paris and Amsterdam by turn 36 without using any army (Standard speed, Diety)
| New leader pass is out, so I wanted to see how OP is new Victoria everyone is talking about. After few standard Diety experiences (a.k.a. the game of lawn mower and tall grass - me being the grass), I decided one more restart will do. I guess the game sensed me hovering the uninstall button 10s ago, so it decided to give me a game so lucky, that it makes you wonder whether you play lottery today aswell. Not even in my wildest dreams could I guess what would happen after I happily settled for the playthrough after only 23 restarts. Chilling on the British Isles by myself, I discovered that Dutch and French leaders forgot about my desire to expand on everything that resembles the coast tile. They even settled their cities so close to mine that I thought Sid Meyer personally designed this seed for everyone who has been mauled several times in a row in 20 turns by AI. The game started like this: on turn 1 the notification appeared that Iâm going to lose my capital due to rebellion in 10 turns. Luckily for me, Paris (cosplaying the state in the city nowadays) was in even bigger shithole, having 7 turns until rebellion. Anyway, after the classic Civ 5 monument start, Iâve noticed that for some reason French and Dutch people prefer to live in an empire where the sun never sets, so I decided that for Wilhelma and Catherine the sun will set forever very soon. Paris flipped to my side on turn 20, while Amsterdam required Victor being installed in Paris to finish the job on turn 36 (Secret societis ftw). Meanwhile, on the other side of the Europe Trajan decided itâs time for Roman Empire to thrive again, taking down poor Ludwig before he even tried his wonder shithousery. Good for me, since I always wanted to complete the poker of top Europan capitals under my rule. Managed to easily find iron (who wouldâve thought) and started to play again the game of lawn mower and tall grass - this time me mowing some Roman tall grass. The game is still going, maybe I post the update, but for now I will post screenshoots. The game is completely off the rails, I researched Industrialisation on turn 153 (860AD), netting 600+ gold per turn with 4 capitals conquered. Nobody has settled Africa and South America, so Iâm in a ride to make my processor a frying pan. Mods: Secret Societies, Mono.&Corp. 2023.03.30 20:03 Cultural_Friendship6 Taming skill pitch a more full and fleshed out vision.
In OSRS i believe animal husbandry and breeding would work well as sub-category in Taming similar to how farming is different in that it supports many ways to farm, you have the crops, trees, herbs, specialty crops that go along with other activity as well.
I imagine taming to begin with players need to acquire animals either by purchasing them from NPCs or trough questing or by capturing them in the wild similar to how you would acquire a rare herb seed. Once you have the animals, players need to provide them with food, water, and shelter. The better the care the animals receive, the healthier they will be, which can affect their performance in certain activities such as providing current resources or alternatively new ones to support the older parts of the game.
Breeding could also be an essential aspect of taming which could be added into the game as a "taming stage 2 patch" This way there could be a clear path for players to imagine the future of the skill without having to doubt if the skill would be further supported by the developers. Here players could breed animals with desirable traits to produce offspring with better stats or sell them for a profit. Players could also perhaps train their animals in various skills, such as racing(new minigame?), carrying goods, gather more or better resources trough openworld activitys which can increase their value.
Players might also have to deal with animal health issues such as diseases and injuries, requiring them to provide medical care similar to how plant cure works to their animals. Additionally, players may have to protect their animals from predators or npc thieves, making security and protection important aspects of taming/breeding/animal husbandry. This could maybe use some requirements from crafting, construction, hunter, thiving and even magic.
Overall, animal husbandry and breeding in a taming setting provide players with a unique and engaging gameplay experience that combines elements of simulation, management, and strategy that are already key elements in OSRS skills.

2023.03.30 20:03 HR_Office_Guy 39 [M4F] #Milwaukee - Turning You Into My Pregnant Traditional Housewifey
I (39 m Milwaukee MAGA) have always known I was going to be a father one day. After college that dream turned into something more. This primal, raw, animalistic need to breed. To push deep inside a soaked fertile pussy, flooding her womb with my thick hot white cum. Pumping wave after wave of potent seed inside of her. Filling her. Claiming her as mine. Marking her with my cum. Knowing that in that moment I may very well be changing her life, our lives, forever.
This...need...only seems to get stronger. Most days seem worse than the last. I quickly realized how much it turns me on to hear about how this same need is with my partner. How her hormones are forcing her past the point of
craving to be filled and impregnated, it is all she can think about. To feel stretched full, looking into my eyes as I give everything to her. Letting me see her reaction, both of us knowing what it means, as she feels the weight of my body pressing against her. Knowing that I am making sure that every single drop is as deep inside of her as it can be. Where it belongs.
For me, it is so much more than a simple creampie. There is nothing hotter than giving in to that hormonal
need, knowing that it will lead to a family. That I would make her my wife, keeping her constantly full, pregnant with one baby after the other...
I want to hear just how badly that need is for you. To be claimed, impregnated, and filled. A pregnant Housewife
