Welcome to the subreddit dedicated to the artist Burial. Releasing records under the pseudonym "Burial," William Bevan comes from South London in England, and is one of dubstep's most enigmatic artists. With home made chopped up beats, swooshing synths, and haunting modified vocals lifted from an eclectic range of pop songs, he brings his listeners back to a time when hardcore, d'n'b, 2step, and house music dominated the London underground club/rave scene.
2023.04.01 13:06 MrBuckBuck (Extra Kispert) Fun facts & stats from the Wizards' 109-116 L the Orlando Magic
FINALLY, REDDIT FIXED THE BUG THAT PREVENTED ME LETS ME FROM UPDATING MY DRAFT POSTS (I had to use other methods that were way less comfortable)! A song for the current mood - my favorite rap song! Teams:
- The Wizards are now on a 34-43. The Wizards fell to 3 games behind the Bulls now, as the Bulls won 121-91 the Hornets (37-40 records). The Bulls remain in the 10th seed & the Wizards are in the 11th seed. If the Wizards lose the next game & the Bulls win, the Wizards will be officially out of the play-in tournament & therefore the playoffs. Why? There are currently 5 games left to the season, and if the Bulls win & the Wizards lose, the gap goes up to 4 games. BUT, the Wizards & the Bulls record is 2-2 tie during the regular season , and according to rules since none of the teams are even close to lead their division, we go by the Conference record, and the Bulls have a significantly better conference record of 26-23 vs. 20-28 by the Wizards - a gap the Wizards cannot close.
- The Wizards are currently 18-20 at home games & 16-23 at road games.
- The Wizards are now 18-22 in the year 2023 (17W & 22 L) - from 16-21 to 34-43.
- The Wizards are now 6-13 since the All-Star break.
- The Wizards are now 5-9 without Kyle Kuzma.
- The Wizards are now 13-17 since the trade with Rui Hachimura (12 W & 17 L). Before the trade, the Wizards were 17-13 (17 W & 13 L) with him (in games he played), and 3-13 (3 W & 13 L) in games he wasn't playing.Overall, the Wizards were a 20-26 record before this trade.
- The season series between the two teams ended up in a 2-2 tie. The Wizards won the first two & lost the last two - both teams won home & away game against each other this season.
- The Wizards lost 6 out of their last 8 games, and 9 losses out of their last 12 games.
- The Magic won the Wizards in 2 straight games, after losing the previous 7 games to the Wizards.
- It was the 135th regular-season meeting between the Washington Wizards & the Orlando Magic (102 as the Washington Wizards & 33 as the Washington Bullets).
- The historical head-to-head matchup during the regular season - Washington Wizards vs. the Orlando Magic: 60-74 to the Orlando Magic.
- The Magic won 4 out of their last 5 games & 5 out of their last 7 games.
- The Wizards were 0/10 from 3 in the 4th quarter until Corey Kispert made his only field goal attempt in the 4th quarter (1/1 from 3PT), with his 9th 3-pointer of the game.
- None of the Wizards players went to the free throw line more than 3 times tonight.

- All but 2 players in Orlando had at least a single block tonight - Gary Harris, Markelle Fultz, Goga Bitadze & Cole Anthony had 2 blocks each, Wendell Carter Jr., Jalen Suggs & Franz Wagner had 1 block each, and Paolo Banchero led with 3 blocks. Only Caleb Houstan & Moritz Wagner didn't have a single block tonight on their part.

- The Victims list: Deni Avdija, Daniel Gafford & Johnny Davis got blocked 3 times each, Anthony gill got blocked twice. Wright, Goodwin & Kispert got blocked once each. The Block list & videos.

- The Wizards attempted 105 field goals attempts - that's more 17 field goal attempts than the MAgic had tonight (88).
- The Wizards also made 3 fewer field goals despite taking so many shots. The Magic made 44 field goals out of 88 attempts (50%)
- The Wizards were 39.0% from the field tonight (41/105) - that's their 4th worst this season & the 5th time overall this season. It's also the 5th worst FG% a team shot vs. the Magic this season.
- It's the 2nd time this season the Wizards end a game with a result 109-116 - both of them (including tonight) were losses. The last one was 109-116 L to the Toronto Raptors on March 4th, 2023.
- The Wizards had 96 points in the first 3 quarters, but scored only 13 points in the 4th vs. 31 points by the Magic.

- None of the Wizards played scored more than 4 points in the 4th quarter, which was belonged to Delon Wright.
- It's the first time since January 25th, 2023, that the Wizards shot below 40% from the field, since the 108-103 W over the Rockets.
- The Magic dominated the Wizards in the paint, with 58 points in the paint vs. 42 points in the paint by the Wizards.
- The Wizards dominated the 2nd chance points, with what seems as a season-high of 28 2nd chance points vs. 11 2nd chance points by the Magic.
- The Wizards dominated the fastbreak points with 19 fastbreak points vs. just 8 fastbreak points by the Magic.

- Deni Avdija became the Wizards' player with the most games, missing only 2 games this season. Daniel Gafford was tied for 2nd with him until he got injured & didn't play the previous game. - Corey Kispert tied his career-high for points in a single half with 18 points, and had a career-high of 18 points in the 1st half (the previous was 16 points). Source.

He also had a career-high for 3 pointers in a single half (the previous was 4 3-pointers). Source Fun Fact: Gary Harris scored 6 3-pointers vs. the Wizards in the last game between the two teams (March 21st, 2023 - 112-122 L), and he was 6/9 from 3PT in the entire game. - Kendrick Nunn scored 12 points in each of his last 2 games.
- Xabier Cooks committed his first foul in his NBA career - an offensive foul%20(B.Taylor)) (resulted in a turnover) - a career-high in personal fouls for him as well - 9:55 left in the 2nd quarter.
- Therefore, It took Xabier Cooks exactly 849 seconds (14 minutes & 24 seconds) to commit his first foul in the NBA. I just summed his minutes & multiplied it by 60 for seconds, and then added the seconds from the MP & deduced it from total seconds (1,049 minus 3*60+5 because he fouled after 3 minutes & 5 seconds of playing time in the 2nd quarter). Source.
- Xabier Cooks had his first dunk in the NBA.%20(Goodwin%204%20AST))
- It's the first time Xabier Cooks played in the 2nd quarter, as he subbed in the break between the 1st & 2nd quarter.
- Xabier cooks played in each of the last 3 games - a career-high in straight games played.
- Cole Anthony had 10+ points in each of his last 10 games.
- Gary Harris had 0 3-pointers tonight, after scoring 6 3-pointers in the last game between the two teams, in the 122-112 W over the Wizards.
- It's only the 2nd time this season that Gary Harris finished with 0 points, and the first time this year. It's also the first time this year (2023) that he didn't score a single points in a game. The last time was on November 30th, 2022, in the 108-125 L to the Hawks. It's the first time he got 0 points in 20+ minutes (20:13 tonight) this season. It was also his 2nd most minutes played without scoring a single point during his entire career, which was on March 4th, 2017, with the Nuggets, as they lost 102-112 to the Hornets - 0 points in 21:32 minutes..
The best food we ever had! So far, the Wizards' FO with the best April Fools joke ever - the Wizards ^_^
Peace.

2023.04.01 13:05 Hash1erka Not being able to access my account
Calling out all LastPass users!
I'm seeking your help, because at this point, I'm desperate.
I have trouble with the LastPass app - I had a free account for a few years now. It worked perfectly, I have all my passwords stored here. But I recently switched phones and since then, I have trouble logging into my account. I've never changed email adress linked to my account, neither the Master Password. I remember the Master Password, my phone also remembers it, so I know it's right.
Every time I try to log in, I see a banner saying "We couldn't log you in" and two options: "Review your login info and try again", "Look for a confirmation email from LastPass: xx*****@xxxxx.xx".
Okay, got it, I switched devices, so I have to verify the new one.
There are two issues going on here - I tried it several times and sometimes it shows different email adresses - once "xx*****@xxxxx.xx" and "xx***********@xxxxx.xx" - the second one is the actual one I'm using. Maybe it's some sort of protection, but for me, it's just another confusion.
The second issue is, that I never receive the verification email. I checked all my folders, but I never recieved this kind of email. But at the same time, I keep receiving emails about sales and past incidents from LastPass support adress, but never the one with verification.
Spent few evenings reading support articles, Reddit convos, nothing helped. I also tried to contact the LastPass support, but seems like they are unreachable. Bawling my eyes out over freaking app, but I'm so afraid to lose all my data.
Eventualy, I realized, that lot of sources are talking about security email - well, I don't remember setting one for my account, ever. What do I do now?
I put all my hope in you, guys.
Thank you in advance,
Anna (Hashlerka)

2023.04.01 13:02 WtotheStar Am I mentally ill?
I’m 16 and tend to let my impulsive thoughts control me when I’m not in the right mind space, which when i think about them don’t sound like something any sane person would do. I’ll say a few just to give you an idea.
- I was play fighting my sibling and a certain thing they did made loose control due to ptsd, I then proceeded to grab a hammer out from under the kitchen sink, go to my room and smash my walls with it to let off some steam. Then I ran away to my boyfriends(at the time) house without telling anyone and was reported missing for a week. (I returned home safely after being kicked out his house)
- I used to have an extreme fear of the dark(after being locked in a dark room for hours when I was younger) and couldn’t be in a room without most of it being lit up, in the middle of the night I decided I wasn’t scared of it anymore and walked in the pitch dark and…pee on the kitchen floor.
- I was bored out of y mind one day and annoying my siblings wasn’t very entertaining, I was sitting in the kitchen eating and was feeling very tense so I grabbed one of my mums wine glasses, chucked it in the air and watched it break. I then sat back down and continued to eat, my mum then came back inside from the garden and cleaned it up and offered to take me to a psych ward(which I said no to obviously because who would say yes).
I cbf writing the rest but you get the point.

2023.04.01 12:59 harleyuk My experience of True Self after five years without a therapist
I first discovered IFS and parts five years ago at a crisis point after collapsing in my bath in tears and had given up.
At the time I had come off a pharmaceutical medication called Lexapro (SSRI) and was experiencing some pretty substantial shifts in mood and behaviour. Previous to taking the drug I was suffering from anxiety and depression and was managing my shifts in mood with alcohol, nicotine, drugs, medication, exercise, success, admiration, attention and achievement as tools to try and suppress my pain and maintain some form of homeostasis where I was ok.
From the outside I was the guy everyone wanted to be, had lots of money (and lots of debt) had a fashion company and a tech company (all for show), attractive, charming, successful and athletic but inside I was completely empty, perpetually unsatisfied and in a lot of pain.
This is ten years ago and that pain had reached such a point that I could endure no more. After seriously considering taking my own life (thankfully I didn't) I made the decision instead that I wanted to get better, I didn't know what that meant at the time but it was my only intention, I wanted to be OK again and that was my sole focus.
I held that intention as the only thing I wanted.
The next five years were spent attempting to come off my SSRI, and remove my other attachments to alcohol, nicotine, drugs etc.
Eventually I succeeded but without my tools I experienced worse swings in emotion and behaviour than I could ever remember, cycling through periods of pure ecstatic joy and a huge love for life to very painful depressive periods.
My mother had also had a stroke and I had taken on the job of being her main carer, helping her learn how to eat, walk, function and helping her around the house daily.
In hindsight this duty was an absolute blessing in disguise as it gave me focus outside of myself and I started to experience some sort of balance again.
This only lasted for around a month though as life had obviously decided that I needed another little shock to the system to keep me on my toes!
My mother returned home after a checkup at the doctors regarding her swallowing and had discovered she had terminal oesophageal cancer.
Bang.
Literally five days after this I got a phone call from my ex-partner announcing that my daughter had been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
BANG.
I was down and out.
Got into the bath and cried my eyes out, I couldn't take any more, my life had been nothing but pain from the earliest I could remember. I cried out to anything that was listening that I couldn't go on, my mood swings had returned and I admitted defeat.
I incorrectly self-diagnosed bipolar disorder and planned to go to the doctors the following day to request a diagnosis and medication.
Whilst lying in bed that evening a thought popped into my mind and I searched on youtube for the term 'The truth about bipolar' and discovered a video by Peter Gerlach that described parts in a way that described my inner experience perfectly.
Just hearing Peter explain this must have been enough for me to let go of identifying with any other part of me and I experienced my true nature for the first time in thirty years.
This state didn't last long as life did life and I now had the job of helping my mother starve to death in a hospice and learn how to manage my daughters new diagnosis (awesome!) but I now knew what I truly was and that I had been identifying with small parts of myself.
The following five years have been an investigation into my true nature and my parts.
I no longer have shifts in mood beyond normal human responses to life, am neither attached to or need to avoid anything (including nicotine and alcohol) and have absolutely no requirement for medication.
This is my experience of operating from my true nature;
There is absolutely no wondering, pondering or questioning wether I am my true Self, it is not even a consideration.
Discovering new parts is an absolute joy.
Unconditional love is a natural quality and the love towards all my parts is palpable.
Parts can sense this and are usually very relieved that I have found them, relax in my presence and re-integration is easy.
There is no need to seek externally to others for advice or guidance - I know intuitively what to do and what is best for me in all situations.
I have no extreme aversion or attraction towards people or things.
My inner environment is predominantly silent, spacious and comfortable.
The body is recognised as a part of me and is looked after and loved deeply, I have found myself experiencing sadness at how I have treated it for many years.
I feel satisfied, joyous and fulfilled.
Emotions are accepted as part of the human experience and are not repressed or denied nor are they extreme in nature.
There is little to no polarisation or opinion but there is still preference.
There is a deep knowing that growth is a never ending process and that I am no where near finished, nor could I ever be.
Thats my experience of my true nature after five years of exploring parts without a therapist, I hope this might help/inspire someone and feel free to ask any questions!
Thanks for reading.

2023.04.01 12:59 Christ3ns3n What is the point if its just constant failures
For some reason wherever I go, I cannot connect with people,
I see how they distance themselves from me, to the point where I'm classed as the weirdo/strange/"scary?" guy, tbh I just want to find my place in this world, I don't bother anyone I keep to myself, but somehow I've been told I come across as judgmental/"thinking too highly of myself?", which is funny because my self esteem is extremely low. I just don't have a lot to say, I'm well aware its a me issue, I try to make an effort, but I find small talk/most people unrelatable, extremely boring... not that I'm better, its just that I don't want to hear about their new solar panels and what school their kids go to..
I have trust issues, I've had several experiences at work places where boundaries were very washed out and I found myself in the vulnerable position, people knowing too much/using it against me. For the past couple of years I find myself constantly having to defend, justify myself/my actions even though I'm a borderline normie who just wants to get on with it, go home and read my books/listen to music. I really "envy" or rather admire people who can talk a lot without really divulging too much personal information, yet they come across as open and friendly. I just sort of bulldoze my way and say things as they are in my life or nothing at all..
I've been in therapy and its somewhat helped, even had medication, but the therapist wanted to focus on segments of my life that I didn't find were that relevant to my issues... whenever I find myself in a social setting, with smarter more successful people which is always lately, I just seem to deflate and not be able to add anything interesting to the conversation.. And I'm always trying to guess what people think of me which of course leads to more confusion and unnecessary tension.
I'm also far away from my home country, in a society that has very subtle/cliquey social dynamics that are not exactly helpful to my "condition". I've been away from my original home for too long that they are no longer a home, but not long/good enough to call this place my home either.
tldr I'm really tired of being stuck in a no-social skills and having a perpetuating bad self image which seems like a vicious circle.

Disclaimer: Some of these have unknown April dates. They are identified with a '*' 1968 - The J5 perform at a campaign rally for Richard Hatcher in Gary with Bobby Taylor and Diana Ross & The Supremes among others. Hatcher was the first African-American mayor of Gary, Indiana for 20 years, from 1968 to 1988. At the time of his first election on November 7, 1967, he and Carl Stokes were the first African-Americans to be elected mayors of a U.S. city with more than 100,000 people*

1971 - The Jackson 5 play at the Mid-South Auditorium, Memphis, Tennessee
1972 - J5's cover of Bobby Day's “Little Bitty Pretty One” is released by Motown. It is also the first song where you can clearly hear Marlon's voice. It will reach #13 on the Hot 100*

Off the Wall. He was visiting Carole in the studio when she invited him to join the session. He came up with such a special part on the Bacharach/Sager composition "Just Friends" that they happily offered him a co-production credit*

https://imgur.com/a/ZnDLbeA 1987 - Michael withdraws from The Jeovah’s Witness, a step that normally means he must be shunned by family members and friends who remain in the religious sect.
A representative of the Woodland Hills congregation where Jackson belonged said that the entertainer “disassociated” himself from the congregation and “no longer wants to be known as a Jehovah’s Witness.”
The official would not state what the implications of “disassociation” are, but when asked if they are serious, he responded, “Correct.”
Though Jackson’s anti-drug stance in public appearances was in keeping with the Witnesses’ clean-living codes, the entertainer’s Grammy-winning album
Thriller produced tensions with the sect leaders in 1983 because of allegations the record and short film encouraged occult beliefs*
1988 - Michael plays the last of three nights at the Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut
https://imgur.com/a/g5555p4 The story of Anne Miner: Anne is a great-grandmother who never attended a rock concert and prefers Big Band-era music. She says she is 'excited' about going to see Michael Jackson with tickets she won from a radio station but plans on taking cotton with her for her ears
'I'm excited. It's a chance of a lifetime experience,' said Anne Miner, 70. 'How many times are you going to see Michael Jackson in concert?'
The Greenfield woman, who admitted her favorite group was the Glenn Miller Band, big in the 1940s, won the tickets in a Michael Jackson Trivia Contest sponsored by WHAI radio and the Pepsi Co.
A chauffeur-driven white stretch limousine complete with champagne were to pick up Miner and a guest at her home and drive them to Hartford Civic Center in Connecticut and back.
She even considered wearing her old black-leather coat to the concert. She intends to go with her 20-year-old nephew, Michael J. Smith.
Smith said he prefers hard-rock bands like Bon Jovi over Jackson, but still expected to enjoy the concert. 'I'm just glad (Jackson) doesn't wear that white glove anymore.'
The two were given floor seats worth $22.50 each to the concert, which sold out just hours after tickets went on sale.
To earn the tickets, Miner answered three questions:
- What's Jackson's current record label?
- What's the identity of the celebrity who discovered him
- Where did Jackson grow up?
Miner said she determined Jackson's record label was Epic by going to a record store and that she learned his hometown was Gary, Indiana at the Greenfield Public Library. She admitted she guessed that Diana Ross was the celebrity who discovered him
'I'm always winning something,' said Miner, a retired waitress of 41 years. She said she's a compulsive contest player who occasionally gambles on the Massachusetts State Lottery and always buys raffle tickets.
Miner said she has seen Jackson 'shaking around' on television and thinks he is a lot like Elvis Presley, but adds he 'looks like a girl.'
1989 -Michael is on the cover of Ebony magazine.
https://imgur.com/a/UeLPsn8 1989 - Filming of "Liberian girl" short film takes place over 2 days. Veteran video director, Jim Yukich, was brought in to help craft a memorable clip.
“CBS Epic called and Michael Jackson wants to do a video for this song ‘Liberian Girl’ and I hadn’t heard this song yet,” said Yukich. “I’m thinking like ‘Off the Wall’ or ‘Rock with You’ or just I figure it will be one of those classic Michael Jackson killer songs, right? And ‘Liberian Girl’ is not a killer song. It’s funny — what do you do? So again, we’re throwing the kitchen sink at it, and so I pitched the idea to Michael that we would have him shoot the video while all these are people waiting to begin the video, and they don’t realize it until the end is that he’s directing.”
“He loved the idea. We started calling people, and we just called in favors from friends. I had just done a television special with Richard Dreyfuss, and Richard said he’d love to be in it. He said, ‘Can I call up Steven?’ and I said, ‘Steven who?’ and he said ‘Steve Spielberg and Amy Irving, and I said, “Yeah!” So he called Spielberg and Amy, and then you start calling people saying you have these people, and I’d start naming names and it was easy. It was very easy to get people because as soon as you get a couple of big names, everybody wants to be in it.”
The shooting day basically consisted of Yukich and his crew filming all the celebrities on a soundstage as they wait for Michael to show up. The final list of guest stars served as, in retrospect, a truly strange snapshot of that year in showbusiness.Comedy writers were given the task of writing some interesting things for the cast to say on camera while they waited.
“So we just had two days, and we had the live audio with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John doing the scene when they sang together, and they hadn’t sang together onscreen since ‘Grease’, so it was something to do that, and we just shot this grand stuff of people talking, and the outtakes are incredible because it’s just people talking. The song is not even playing! It’s just great getting all these stars in a room and you’re just filming and they’re saying, ‘What are you supposed to do?’ and we’d say, ‘We’ll get back to you,’ and you’d just mike everybody and shoot stuff.”
Yukich said that in a room filled with stars, Steven Spielberg’s uneasiness on the other side of the camera was the biggest surprise. Yukich used a push-pull camera shot on Spielberg, who was the director that made that camera shot popular, hence its industry nickname – 'The Jaws Shot'
“He was nervous. We did that push-pull move for that shot, and he was more nervous than I was, you know, being on camera. He wanted to try to do this favor for Michael because he wanted Michael for a movie.” Yukich also said that working with Michael was an amazing experience, but required some on-set preparation.
“Incredible,” he said. “I mean, at first, it was funny because he sent his handlers in first, and they check, and they said he is coming in 10 minutes. They go in all the different rooms to make sure that no bombs were there and there were no fans hanging out, and they kicked people out, and it was almost like going through airport security or something. They basically kicked people out there who weren’t supposed to be there, and they bring in a microwave oven with bananas for Bubbles the monkey and Max which was the baby monkey. It was like a real rigmarole, and then when he showed up, you know, he was unbelievably nice. Such a pleasant person and a nice guy.”
Jackson also had only one request involving the removal of a person from the final cut.“He called me a couple of times after he saw the edit. He would make us do some things, like he took out David Spade. David Spade was in the original cut. He called me up and he said, ‘Jim, this is Michael,’ and you think somebody was fooling with you, basically. You would never know if it was really him until he started talking about specifics and you could say, okay, that is Michael. So he called us up and he on a walkie-talkie phone or something, or he’s up in Santa Barbara, and says, ‘You know, in 3 minutes and 20 seconds, there’s a guy blonde here. Who is that guy?’ I said his name is David Spade. ‘I don’t know who he is, take him out.’ So Spade was out, and I’m sure Spade was, like, pissed!” (Spade had not yet joined SNL)
Yukich is still aggravated that the song, and hence the video, was never released in America.
When Jackson died suddenly, Yukich immediately thought back to the video and a conversation the two had.
“To this day, I’ve been – I guess not so much anymore, because years have gone by — but I was convinced when he died that he didn’t die. We made that video, and he said to me, ‘I would love to be hiding and see what people say about me, you know?’ I mean, having shot all that footage and then he died? It was just kind of weird.”
The video is dedicated to Liz Taylor, who is in fact not a Liberian girl *

In his suit, Lee claimed that Jackson hired him in the late 1990s to put the musician’s finances in order, only to turn a deaf ear when it came to taking Lee’s advice by refusing to curb spending. Lee then claimed Jackson never paid him, instead relying on “charlatans” and “hucksters” for advice.
In his court papers, Lee called Jackson a “ticking financial time bomb waiting to explode” who owed banks hundreds of millions of dollars in loans.
Michael would countersue claiming Lee and Union Finance swindled millions from him and destroyed financial records to cover up their misdeeds.

Michael goes to court with Katherine & Joe. Testimonies of Jeff Klapackis, Jack Green, Larry Feldman & Jesus Salas.
Larry Feldman, the attorney who first interviewed Michael Jackson's accuser testified that he was never asked to file a lawsuit against the singer.
However, he did acknowledge under cross examination, that the boy and his younger brother could file civil lawsuits until they turn 20 years old, the accuser being 15 years old now.
The prosecution had called Feldman to explain how the alleged molestation came to the attention of the authorities, but the defense used his appearance to try to show its belief, that the accuser and his family were out to get money from Jackson.
Jackson's defense lawyer, Thomas Mesereau grilled Feldman about the the impact of a criminal conviction, whether or not it would make a financial judgment easier.
"If Mr. Jackson was convicted of felony child molestation in this case, (the boy or his brother) could use that case to win a civil case alleging similar of same facts against Mr. Jackson, is that correct?" asked Mesereau.
"That is correct" said Feldman.
The two lawyers sparred over the exact requirements of a civil suit, and Feldman denied accusations of encouraging the criminal action, in an attempt to avoid incurring costs involved in preparing a civil lawsuit.
However, Feldman insisted that there would still be litigation expenses.
DA Tom Sneddon asked Feldman whether he was planning a lawsuit at the time, that he referred the accusing family to Santa Barbara prosecutors, to which Feldman replied "There was no lawsuit and there were no plans to file a lawsuit. It was up to you to investigate"
Feldman was permitted to tell jurors of a previous accusation against Jackson in 1993, where Feldman represented another boy, who won a monetary settlement. Jurors were not told how much the boy was paid, but Feldman said there were no trouble collecting it. An amount which has been reported to be millions of dollars.
Sneddon projected a photograph of the boy from the previous allegations on a courtroom screen, and asked Feldman to identify him.
"He was much better looking at that age. He was adorable," Feldman said, a remark which the judge ordered stricken from the record.
The picture showed a boy who many believe bears a striking resemblance to the current accuser.
Feldman said that while he met with the current accuser's mother many times after he ceased to represent her officially, he has "never been asked to file any lawsuit against Michael Jackson"
When Feldman walked outside the courthouse in an afternoon break in testimony, fans yelled "liar", "tell the truth" and "you're making money off the backs of these people"
Feldman said, he was first contacted by the family because of a dispute over the boy's appearance in the documentary,
Living With Michael Jackson where he appeared holding hands with Jackson. Feldman then referred the family to psychologist Stan J. Katz "to make out some heads and tails of what was being told to me by the family"
Katz reported suspicions of molestation to authorities after interviewing the family.
Also on the stand Friday, was an an investigator who testified that linens seized by police from Michael's bed, had failed to yield any DNA linked to the teenage accuser or his brother.
In other testimony, Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Klapackis defends the scale of the effort, when 69 investigators served a search warrant at Neverland on Nov. 18, 2003.
The large number of investigators were needed, he said, because they had only been allowed one day to carry out the search, because the district attorney didn't want to "burden the ranch and its employees with our presence longer than that," Klapackis said. He also said that there were large buildings to search at the 2,800-acre ranch.
Klapackis also said, that they took all bedding during the search, because that is where the accuser and his brother claim to have frequently slept, and where they allege the molestation took place.
During cross-examination, Klapackis said authorities did not test bottle and glasses containing alcohol for fingerprints - found in Jackson's bedroom as well as the home's wine cellar and kitchen. Nor did investigators test furniture, boxes, mannequin toys and rails along Jackson's stairwell, or his bedroom doors for fingerprints.
When asked on redirect why, Klapackis said, "It didn't enter in the investigation at the time."
However, they did test pornographic magazines. The boy's brother testified how Jackson showed them magazines. A fingerprint analyst has testified earlier, that the prints of Jackson and his accuser were recovered from the same magazine.
Jack Green, president of a Ventura telephone systems company, testified that he had inspected Neverland's phone systems. He explained that it had a function to allow someone to listen in on other's calls, but there was nothing to prevent anyone from calling 911.
Prosecutors allege the family's calls were monitored by Jackson, whereas the defense say the family could have called for help, if they truly were captives.

2023.04.01 12:58 peachimplosion How likely is it for ADHD medication to alleviate depression?
I think my most severe symptom is boredom. It’s sustained and overbearing. It makes me feel bad all the time, it makes work really suck, but then when I arrive home I feel dread and exhaustion over the daily realisation that it’s not going away, that it’s inescapable. My interest cannot be held for any significant amount of time by one or even multiple things which means that nothing ever fully stimulates/satisfies me. My relationship ended because of the lack of sex. I have a low libido already but the fact that I get bored during sex to the point where I avoid it and cut it short every time was enough of a problem for my partner to break up with me over.
That one symptom seems to affect my whole life. If you can’t find fulfilment from anything due to becoming bored, distracted or understimulated, it makes sense that you would become depressed.
Is it possible for ADHD medication to remedy the boredom problem and allow me to generally feel better and happier?

2023.04.01 12:56 aleventuresxp Monthly game night at Olde Mother Brewing 4/5!
2023.04.01 12:56 bullettears Stuck in a contract with a nightmare live-in landlord, help!
Hi everyone,
I (24F) need help ASAP. Two weeks ago I moved into my landlord's (38F) home as a lodger. I'd paid four months rent upfront as the housing market is crazy right now and she'd said she had a lot of interest in the room. The rental agreement was such that any remaining amount paid upfront would be returned to me should either party terminate the agreement, with one month's notice.
Four days after I'd moved into the property, she served me notice. This was after I'd spent hours securing a second-hand wardrobe off Facebook marketplace to match the furniture she already had in the room (I'm not joking, it is literally the exact same as the wardrobes already in the room), and paying a 100 quid for it. I was obviously shocked as I had just started to settle in.
Her reasoning was that she needed money urgently for her aunt's surgery, and her ex-husband had offered to pay the full amount in return for his friend living there. Tearfully, she cried to me that she wanted to live with me, a lodger she had picked over many others, and not her ex-husband’s friend who she knew nothing about. I felt badly for her and offered to pay the remainder of the year’s rent upfront so she could use it for her aunt’s surgery. At this point, she had been super sweet so I asked for a fixed term contract of one year, but she agreed to a 4 months notice period instead.
After paying the years rent of 6000 pounds, on top of the 3000 pounds I had already paid, her demeanour completely changed the next day. So far, she has: - Restricted me to using the kitchen only for 10 minutes at a time - Has come in multiple times within those short periods of time to wipe water droplets on the sink from the utensils I’d washed, making me feel extremely uncomfortable even just making a smoothie - Shouted and screamed at me repeatedly. One of these instances was for a time at 2 am where I had been startled by her cat as I had gone to the washroom without my spectacles, and I couldn’t see clearly. She screamed at me not to mistreat her pets when all I had done was let out a startled “Aah”, to which she screamed “OI”, came running out of her room, and screamed at me for apparently screaming at her pets. - Left her dog’s poop in the kitchen (I have pictures), along with uncovered bowls of cat food that stunk up the whole property – she'd not told me she would be doing this when I came to view the property. - Has thrown an ice cube at me. I was making a smoothie and an ice cube had fallen on the floor. She threw the ice cube at me. - Has physically pushed me out of the kitchen - Has called me an ‘idiot’ and a ’silly silly little girl’ - Has threatened me multiple times over using the common facilities by using the terms “I am the landlord” and “I own this house” - Has told me to clear out a kitchen cupboard she previously said I could use
She has served me notice for being antisocial towards her today (I had told her to stop shouting at me). I had given her verbal notice earlier this morning because of the cat incident at 2 am but she emailed me saying I'd breached the contract for being antisocial and that was the reason she was evicting me.
Either way I want to move out, but I want to move out earlier than the 4 months notice period, in fact as soon as possible, and recover the rent paid for the 4 month notice period. I really think she is trying to drive me out of the house earlier than the 4 months notice period because her behaviour changed so suddenly after I transferred her the year’s rent. I have asked her to reduce the notice period length as she clearly does not want me in the house, but she insists that the notice period is 4 months. I have even been crashing with friends because being here makes me so uncomfortable. Does anyone have any advice?

2023.04.01 12:54 TheSaxo Do people know about your anhedonia?
I have only one real friend who knows about my condition and supports me, along with my mum. Some other family members (cousins, uncles, etc.) know I have some mild "depression," but this is far from the truth, and they have no clue what I am experiencing.
I still see my old group of "friends" sometimes, but they do not know anything about my condition, as I have always masked everything. I genuinely think that if people around me acknowledged my condition, I would be more open to going out and meeting them. However, at the same time, I know they are uneducated about mental health and probably not very open-minded on this subject.
I think I would be gaslighted if I tried to open up, but at the same time, I cannot mask this anymore. I have become too indifferent and cold for people not to notice, and since then, I have started isolating myself more and more, as I don't want people see me in this condition, because this is not my real me. At the moment, there is really no point in meeting people and masking, as it just makes me want to go home as soon as possible.
I also know that people who haven't experienced anhedonia or emotional numbing can't understand this, but at least people can accept your situation, although it seems hard.
What's your opinion? Have you opened up to people around you? How did they react?

2023.04.01 12:52 hauptrealty Edmonton Acreage For Sale – Make Sure You Know What You Are Looking For
| A professional who specializes in selling full-time residences in the area is a good choice for a buyer who wants to buy one. On the other hand, it is preferable for people looking for investment properties to work with a person who has been facilitating such transactions with other investors for a few years. Set up a face-to-face meeting with the home expert to get a full picture of his or her skills and expertise, even if the candidate meets these four qualities. Most professionals are more than happy to answer questions from potential customers. Using these tips to find a real estate agent for Luxury House For Sale Edmonton will make the entire home buying or selling process much simpler. Be sensible and start at the lowest level when bidding on a home. You should be cautious enough to deal intelligently because there are numerous buyers for these activities. Before placing a bid, the property rates should not be disclosed. Edmonton Acreage For Sale You must review the property's legal documents after purchasing the available repossessed home. Written documents must be used for all payments. Before hiring a lawyer to keep the records, make sure that payments are made. There are three options available in the event of a foreclosure: the pre-foreclosure home, the REO (real estate owned) or even property-owned home offered by the lender following the foreclosure, and the home offered during the foreclosure period. There is a brief sale at the pre-foreclosure point. The price stays low, and the atmosphere in the house is simple. All REO units are exempt from this rule, but there may be a slight price increase. Banks are offering substantial discounts to sell the numerous repossessed homes. In most countries, a place to live must have facilities for sleeping, cooking, and bathing. Each studio in a condominium shares some common areas. Your studio or bachelor attic, which has one room, a kitchenette, and a tub, is one popular living space. The next software takes you to the point where the available home goes up for auction while this mortgage is foreclosed on. Some of these houses are bought by investors, while others are bought by banks so they can keep the land. The next strategy is to acquire the available foreclosed homes that are bank property. Because everything is taken care of ahead of time, this is the simplest method for having a home available. It is important to do your homework well and know everything there is to know about real estate if you want to own a beautiful home. The primary factor that led to the listing of your home on the market for foreclosure is the owner's inability to pay the mortgage balance. That is a lot of money, but when the realtor does their job well, it's not outrageous. There is some wonderful news. Many people are unaware that a realtor can be used to negotiate contract conditions. Why are they intending to do so? The fact that you are not a one-trick pony is a fantastic justification. You do not just have one piece of land; you also have a lot of homes for sale. Even at a slightly lower amount, the commissions are likely to add up quickly, right? A potential buyer for the Edmonton Acreage For Sale would be tempted to squirm, rush through the screening as quickly as possible, and then move on to another property. A skilled stager can completely turn this around. They are experts at making available those homes. What do people look at when they enter your house through the front door? They check out the landscaping, front door, porch, brick, and paint on the house. Most likely, a lot of the homes for sale in this area need a little facelift. submitted by hauptrealty to u/hauptrealty [link] [comments] |

MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT!!!
I'll discuss the following topics: how it could be avoided, hyperrealism, same-sex relationships failing to work out in scripted TV shows, symbolism, and how it affected me.
For anyone who has seen The Confessions of Frannie Langton, I would like your input on this.
I won't explain a backstory to the show, but I'd recommend checking it out for those who have yet to see it.
It's available on BritBox. There are four episodes, around 50 minutes each.
I will briefly explain how the death of Madame Marguerite Benham and Frannie Langton could've been avoided or attempted to be avoided. I'm also assuming that everyone has a basic/intermediate knowledge of the show and characters, so I won't be going into immense detail, so I can make this relatively short.
How Frannie's execution and Marguerite's death could've (potentially) been avoided:
Frannie falling for Marguerite was a mistake, to begin with. However, you cannot control who you fall for. I just knew it would be a mess from the beginning. I was just defeated that Frannie died due to dealing with the Benhams. To correctly determine if/how Frannie's execution could've been avoided, I must figure out when Marguerite committed suicide. Was it after Frannie killed George Benham? Marguerite was asleep during that time/alone in the bedroom. Regardless of either, I am going to backtrack. Sal, the brothel owner, welcomes Frannie and provides her with a home there after the Benhams kick Frannie out of their house after discovering the affair. If we stop it right here, this is where Frannie could have thrived if she had stayed with Sal.
The white individuals around her respected Sal, who was well off financially and intelligent. The entire mess could've been completely avoided if Frannie hadn't returned to the Benhams (where she never had to be from the film's start). But obviously, characters always seem to do the dumbest things, and viewers/readers know what's ahead of them. In episode 4, around the timestamp 17:38, Frannie talks to Marguerite and states, "Come with me, please." Marguerite replies angrily, ".... how do you think the two of us would do happily in a little cottage by the sea." I don't believe Frannie initially wanted the two to live together. I think, at this moment, the two could've and should've left to live with Sal at her brothel. Even though it wouldn't have been ideal, both deaths could've been avoided.
Disregarding this, I believe the reason Marguartte decided from suicide was also because of her husband's pressure about being unable to conceive children. At the film's beginning, Marguerite makes it aware that she miscarried twice. We do know that she miscarried a third time after becoming pregnant by Laddie, which would prove that she cheated on her husband and that she cheated with a black man. Even though black individuals were free under British law in 1825, it was still difficult to be black and shameful. Let alone a white person of nobility and high statutes becoming impregnated by a black man, despite Laddie being of high standards and respected by his white counterparts, both would still be shamed. Therefore, the pressures form on Marguerite from the revealed same-sex affair, which was shamed, inability to produce children which were humiliated, and becoming impregnated by a black man, probably the most shameful of them all during that time, caused Marguerite to end her life. Although, that was not necessary. Marguerite had another miscarriage after the affair with Laddie, eliminating one problem. Anyways, they should've moved in with Sal, but alas. Despite Marguerite becoming pregnant in Frannie's absence, Frannie is crushed, but it's clear that she still wants a future with Marguerite and is willing to move forward from this, but Marguerite cannot seem to grasp this. Not to mention, that Marguerite is addicted to Laudanum, and gets Frannie addicted too, which negatively impacts both character's decision-making and judgment skills.
Moving forward to the trial, which I don't want to spend much time on, the family placed stabbed wounds on Marguerite to cover up the suicide, which would be incredibly shameful to a white family of high nobility. Unlike in today's time, where we realize how sad suicide is and use it as a talking point of discussion, in 1825, this was the complete opposite. Moving forward, Frannie was already in opposition. Being a black person in 1825 England, being accused of practically anything by a white jury and white accusers meant that you would most likely lose 99% of the time, ignoring the fact if you were telling the truth or not the execution was inevitable. so I don't want to be the person who says, "well, technically, the jury could've believed the evidence her lawyer brought forth." A doctor was supposed to testify on Frannie's behalf, stating that Marguerite died from laudanum and was not stabbed by Frannie, but he didn't show up. Even in this case, while the judge might've been inclined to believe her, if he was to side with a black individual, he could be lost his occupation. Therefore, he was to place a facade on a fair trial regardless of the proof and evidence brought forward. Thus, once Frannie killed George, she transitioned to "the point of no return." Even if she fled Benham's house after doing so, she still would've been framed. However, I hoped she wouldn't have reached that "point of no return moment" which she could have avoided by staying with Sal or not killing George Benham. She let her emotions get to her, which is understandable. Benham was an asshole, so who cares if his character was dead? But that's not the point. That time when she was arguing with Benham could've been when she comforted Marguerite. Although Marguerite committing suicide was her decision, and there's nothing she could've Frannie could've done, so there's a possibility that it could've been prevented, but we cannot be sure. Therefore, staying with Sal would've guaranteed a 100% assurance percentage that Sal would not have been put on trial. Not killing Benham and staying with Marguerite would ensure a 50% assurance. Conclusion: Frannie should've stayed with Sal.
Hyperrealism:
Although I wish the show and novel had a happy ending, and I so desperately wanted Frannie and Marguerite's relationship to work out, I knew it wouldn't. The novel's author (Sara Collins) did a FANTASTIC job of writing it and creating hyperrealism for the show's producers to follow. Therefore, everything would play out similarly to the show in real life. It would've ended the same, if not worse. So we must not ignore reality. But trust me, and I did want a happy ending.
The nature of unsuccessful same-sex relationships in movies and TV:
Hate to be the one to say it, but I've noticed lesbian relationships seem to never work out in scripted TV shows. The characters can never seem to "get it together," or their environment, as portrayed in The Confessions of Frannie Langton, is against them, putting them at odds.
Symbolism:
The story warns us not to let our hearts impact our knowledge and not to get ahead of ourselves by thinking about the "what ifs." Frannie ignored her logic. She was very well-spoken and well-written, and she knew the potential negative impacts of pursuing a forbidden love with Marguerite. Still, she chose to ignore them until it was too late.
However, there are other areas I want to touch on. First, I want to reference timestamp 48:14 of episode 4 when Frannie utters, "I'm afraid," and looks to her left to see Marguerite sitting on her prison bed, smiling at her, and Frannie smiles back. This happens again at timestamp 48:58 when Frannie looks back at her bed as she's being walked out of her cell to be executed and sees Marguerite again sitting on her bed.
There are a few ways I'm interpreting this. (1)-Either Frannie is so nervous about her execution that she's starting to hallucinate, which is called "Anxiety Hallucinations," the more likely option. (2)-The following possible reason for Frannie seeing Marguerite after saying, "I'm afraid," represents us thinking about an individual who brings comfort. Sometimes, I ask, "what would XYZ do in this situation" to comfort myself in adversity. Or, I'll think about them for comfort. With that being said, Frannie seeing Marguerite could mean that Frannie was thinking of her, and the directors needed a way to portray that. (3)-The third possible option is that Marguerite was there in spirit form and presented herself to Frannie. Regardless of whether spirituality is a current force in your life, you cannot indeed denote the fact that the writers might've been trying to help us viewers realize that Marguerite was there and allowed herself to be seen by Frannie since Frannie said, "I'm afraid," and that was her way of comforting Frannie, and saying "I'll see you soon, in the afterlife" without saying it deliberately. This is a likely option because, at the first timestamp, 48:14, Marguerite has light shining on her from the window. In many religions and spiritualities, light often represents the presence of a spirit or force; therefore, that could be what the writers intended.
I also believe that Sal and Laddie illustrate what Frannie could've been if she had taken the reigns of her own life. They were wealthy and well-off independent blacks, respected and heard by whites which weren't typical of 1825 England. They represented who Frannie could've strove to be but decided against it by staying in her comfort zone (Pursuing love with her mistress). Therefore, this novel and show are trying to communicate that we should always strive for excellence, regardless of our circumstances, and that our beginnings never determine the end.
How this show affected me:
Man... saying I love this show is an understatement. It's completely taken over my mind, and I cannot get over it. I wish there were ten episodes of four. I've watched it twice now. The final scene I referenced in my previous paragraph, where Frannie was in her prison cell, made me tear up the first time I watched it and almost entirely cry the second time, which is incredibly rare. I wanted them to work out soooo severely. Frannie made so many sacrifices for Marguerite, and Marguerite made so many sacrifices for Frannie. It's clear George Benham didn't truly love Marguerite and only wanted her so that he'd be able to have children, which was a status quote. I see myself in the storyline. I understand forbidden love and operating in a world full of unacceptance and trying to figure out ways to find acceptance and a place to fit in. This show made me wonder how many handmaidens in this time fell in love with their mistress, either kept it a secret or carried out a secret relationship that ended badly. This reflects reality during that time, and I hate that real people experienced events like this. Frannie went through such a hard time, and I hate that her efforts were thrown in the garbage, all because she decided to pursue love with a woman who didn't truly understand her. She went through all of that for nothing.
I've attached a few links to read in case you need help understanding certain characters or the storyline completely.
FANTASTIC SHOW! 10/10
Thank you so much for reading, and I would love to read your responses and opinions to what I've typed and the show and novel in general.
Thank you.

2023.04.01 12:47 CaptainLazy99 SCART switcher suggestions to prevent interference
| I have a Samsung PAL CRT TV with one SCART input and 5 consoles with SCART outputs. NES, SNES, MegaDrive 1 (new PSU), Original Xbox (recapped), N64. So I need a switcher to be able to connect them all at the same time. I have two of those. One with actual switches that has 3 inputs. The other one is an 8 euro one from Amazon has 5 inputs and switches automatically depending on which device is on. Ideally, I want to connect them all at the same time so I don't have to plug cables in and out to play a game. When I connect the consoles directly to the SCART in put of the TV, I get clear image and sound from all of them except the MegaDrive. That one has a some bands of horizontal waves but barely noticeable during gameplay. However, if I connect all 5 of them to the cheap switcher I get what seems like waves of interference going on. Weird thing is that the OG Xbox is causing most op the problems when connected. Audio level goes down significantly and the image looks like bad reception with an antenna in the 80's. As soon as I unplug the Xbox SCART cable problem goes away. The only console that doesn't cause any problems is the SNES. For example, if I connect just the SNES and the MD then there is no problem with image and audio. But when I plug any other console together with the MD to any of the SCART switchers, I get annoying bands of waves moving vertically on the TV. The Xbox original being the most extreme taking down the audio with it as well. I tried all possible combinations while taking down notes. All clues point to the switchers as the culprit. They are still selling SCART switcher on AliExpress but they range from 60 euros to 120 euros. A lot of them are auto switching and some of them have actual switches on them. Has anyone bought one these before? Are there any switches that someone can suggest to get the best possible image and audio from my consoles? Thanks for your help! https://preview.redd.it/x2spctln39ra1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b7b1821c36a9dd9e1e09319aafe3ae8aed149aa submitted by CaptainLazy99 to retrogaming [link] [comments] |
2023.04.01 12:43 Yogi118 TIFU Taking a bump of coke from my wife's boss
I am writing this as I sit on the toilet, I was waiting in line at the bar with him. He pulls out a little pocket bullet and gives it to me. I said to myself "He makes 6 figures, it must me good and I trust it" bad mistake, I pooped my pants at the bar. There was a bathroom attendant and there was no trash can in the stall, the first time it was a drop of water dooty. I can live with that considering it was a very important work event for my wife. I cleaned it really well and did my best to be a trooper. Second time, I will mention at this point it was no warning. No stomach ache, no pressure. All I did was stand up slowly, no fart, nothing. Second trip to the bathroom it was all over, luckily it was contained in my boxers (not the tight ones, I was lucky. I know, it didn't run down my leg) Second trip to the bathroom I was able to dispose of the evidence the trash and free balled it to go immediately home( this was how i got around the attendant, no trash can in the stall i pulled them off and rolled them up real tight. Dirty part on the inside and put it in my front pocket, washed hands and smuggled them in the trash with the used paper towel) I wipe and there is blood every time, there is meth in it for sure on top of whatever is doing that. I only do it maybe once a year, lesson learned to never trust anything I don't get myself. Ouch. TL;DR had a bump cocaine from my wife's boss and now my but is bleeding

From billboards and TV commercials to sponsored posts on social media, it's hard to escape the constant barrage of marketing messages that bombard us every day. But have you ever stopped to consider how this hoarding of advertising impacts your own behavior as a consumer? What is Hoarding Advertising? Hoarding Advertising is a form of Outdoor Advertising that uses large, often billboards, to promote a product or service. This type of advertising is most commonly used in busy urban areas where there is a lot of foot traffic, such as on sidewalks or in subways. Hoarding ads are usually placed near the point of sale for the product or service being advertised, such as in store windows or at eye level on shelves. Hoarding Advertising can have a significant impact on consumer behavior. This type of advertising is designed to be highly visible and difficult to ignore, which can lead consumers to take notice of a product or service they may not have otherwise considered. Additionally, the size and placement of hoardings can make them difficult to miss, which can prompt spontaneous purchases. How Does Hoarding Advertising Impact Consumer Behavior? Hoarding Advertising is a form of Outdoor Advertising that involves the placement of large, often brightly-colored advertisements on buildings or other structures. These ads are usually placed in high-traffic areas, such as near transit stops or on busy streets, in order to reach a large number of people. While some people may view hoardings as eyesores, they can actually be quite effective in influencing consumer behavior. There are several benefits of Hoarding Advertising, including: 1. Increased brand awareness: Hoardings are difficult to miss, which means they can help increase brand awareness and name recognition. If potential customers are repeatedly exposed to your company’s hoardings, they’re more likely to remember your brand when they need the products or services you offer. 2. Greater reach: Hoardings can reach a wide audience, including people who may not be exposed to traditional forms of advertising such as television or print ads. 3. Cost-effective: Hoarding Advertising can be very cost-effective, especially when compared to other forms of Outdoor Advertising such as bus shelter ads or billboards. 4. Flexible: Hoardings can be placed in a variety of locations, which gives you flexibility in terms of where your ad will be seen by potential customers. 5. Targeted: Hoardings can be placed near specific target audiences, such as those who live or work near the hoarding location. This ensures that your ad reaches the people who are most likely to use your products or services. Strategies for Effective Hoarding Advertising There are a few key strategies that can be employed to create effective hoardings advertising. First, it is important to create a strong visual impact. The ad should be highly visible and eye-catching, using bright colors and an attention-grabbing image. Second, the copy used in the ad should be direct and to the point. It should clearly state what the product or service is and what benefit the consumer will receive by using it. Finally, hoardings ads should be placed in strategic locations where they will reach the target audience. For example, if targeting consumers who are likely to be driving, then placing hoardings along major highways would be ideal. Conclusion Hoarding advertising has a significant impact on consumer behavior and the way businesses advertise their products. It creates an emotional connection between customers and brands, making it easier to form loyalty with them. This translates into long-term relationships between consumers and companies – as well as higher sales of products or services. The use of hoardings also helps businesses establish brand awareness in local markets, further increasing visibility for the company or product.
