2023.03.29 18:05 Turbulent_Age_1715 This game has peaks and valleys like no other game I’ve played before, ever.
Last night, I played the most exciting game of HLL I’ve ever experienced. The beginning was very rough, we had no commander, no tank crews, and I thought we were absolutely going to lose, but as the minutes passed, someone stepped up to be commander. Command chat started coordinating, we all immediately started responding to changing tactical conditions. Enemy troop movements, supply drops, recons, were relayed to all squads and up to the commander. As a SL, I felt like I was part of a hive mind, the synergy was perfect.
The enemy team was very persistent, and had a superior strategic position over our team, we were still reeling from the lack of communication in command chat before we got a commander. First problem we had to deal with, was the armor. Germans had very competent tank crews, three crews total, with a puma, panzer iv, and a tiger. One by one, and through great effort and coordination, we took them out, all without armor of our own, as we were struggling to find competent players to fill those roles. Eventually, we were able to get support from a sherman 75, and a very crafty Stuart crew. The defense finally stabilized, despite repeated satchel bombings on our single defensive garrison. We simply were not able to get better garrisons at this time.
Next, after resisting the initial German pressure, we slowly gained a momentum of our own. Steadily, infantry squads were able to push up through the creek west onto the point to apply pressure to the Checkpoint (I forget what the map was called, but we fought most of the battle over Checkpoint). The constant communication between command chat never ceased, and never got bogged down with anybody blaming another group for not doing something fast enough, or any drama that you often find in command chat. No, it was all business. We built up offensive garrisons all around the checkpoint, and finally, after an apocalyptic assault (and epic defense, credit goes where credit is due) we took the point. From this moment on, we knew we were going to win, but nothing was going to stop us from trying to take all of the objectives.
Sorry for the huge wall of text, but I just couldn’t pass up sharing my teams story of dragging victory out of the jaws of defeat, through sheer will and cooperation. I’ve never felt so elated by a victory in another game before. Perhaps it’s because of the time investment required to see a huge game of HLL through to completion, idk. But I felt proud of our win. I hope y’all are able to enjoy this game as much as I have been able to.

2023.03.29 18:04 NecessaryNo6845 online shopping mall services
Online shopping malls have become increasingly popular in recent years as consumers have embraced the convenience of shopping from the comfort of their own homes. These shopping malls are essentially virtual marketplaces where multiple retailers can sell their products to consumers through a single platform. This model offers several advantages for both retailers and consumers.
One of the primary advantages of online shopping malls is the convenience they offer. Consumers no longer have to physically travel to multiple stores to find the products they want. They can simply log onto the online shopping mall's website and browse through a wide variety of products from different retailers. This saves consumers time and money, as they don't have to spend money on gas, parking, or other expenses associated with traveling to physical stores.
https://www.market2home.online/blog/your-one-stop-solution-for-all-your-delivery-needs-in-the-uae Online shopping malls also offer consumers a greater selection of products. Since multiple retailers can sell their products through the same platform, consumers have access to a wider variety of goods than they would in a physical store. This is especially true for consumers who live in rural areas or small towns, where the selection of products may be limited.
For retailers, online shopping malls offer several advantages as well. First and foremost, they provide retailers with access to a larger customer base. By selling their products through an online shopping mall, retailers can reach customers from all over the world, rather than just those who live in their local area. This can help retailers increase sales and grow their business.
Online shopping malls also offer retailers a cost-effective way to sell their products. Setting up and maintaining a physical store can be expensive, with costs like rent, utilities, and staffing. By selling their products through an online shopping mall, retailers can avoid many of these costs and pass the savings on to customers in the form of lower prices.
However, there are also some potential drawbacks to online shopping malls. One of the biggest concerns for consumers is the security of their personal and financial information. Online shopping malls must take steps to protect their customers' data from hackers and other cyber threats. This includes using secure payment processing systems and encryption technologies to protect sensitive information like credit card numbers.
Another potential issue with online shopping malls is the risk of counterfeit or fake products. Since multiple retailers can sell their products through the same platform, it can be difficult for consumers to determine the authenticity of the products they are purchasing. To address this issue, online shopping malls must have policies in place to ensure that the products being sold are genuine and of high quality.
https://www.market2home.online/ Overall, online shopping malls offer many advantages for both consumers and retailers. They provide consumers with a convenient way to shop for a wide variety of products, while also giving retailers access to a larger customer base and a cost-effective way to sell their products. However, it is important for online shopping malls to address concerns around security and product authenticity in order to maintain consumer trust and confidence.

2023.03.29 18:03 Ready-Indication-320 Register a business with the KvK before starting it, to get a loan/mortgage.
Hi all,
I want to purchase a small building located in Italy, currently active on
booking.com as a holiday house.
My original idea was to get a mortgage from the bank, however:
- Dutch banks don't provide mortgages for purchases outside the Netherlands
- Italian banks don't provide mortgages to individuals that don't work/live in Italy.
I found myself in a vicious cycle. Calling my bank, I understood that if I set up a business I can get a loan from them. With this loan, I could buy the property and continue managing it for profit (holiday rentals. The way I understand it, if for any reasons I can't pay the loan back the bank can use this building as a collateral.
I am now thinking of making an appointment with KvK to setup this business. Can someone please tell me more about this?

2023.03.29 18:03 Due-Pattern7819 Can you sue for emotional distress?
I met someone online and he manipulated me into sharing nudes several times. He knows I am disabled. He strung me along for a few months. He kept telling me he’d meet with me until we were in the same town. He’d continue to lead me on until we were supposed to meet then he went silent. He played games with me the whole time but I wasn’t aware. He would get mad and yell at me when I accused him of toying with me.
On our last day in the same town, he ended things and blocked me. I was completely torn. I lost weight, could barely work and eat and missed rent and some bills. I was worried about revenge porn and googled him up. I learned that he is a public figure in politics & legal field and all the information on him including his residential address. I approached him with the information and he didn’t deny it.
He continued doing what he did to me even after the reveal. Recently, he insisted that I sent nudes or he will sever contact with me. He knows how much I like him and I sent nudes. He may have blocked me again. I hate how he manipulated me with sending nudes. He is aware of all the emotional damages he inflicted on me and doesn’t care. Is he untouchable and what are my options? This is in Texas.

2023.03.29 18:02 Horse-Cock-Enjoyer [Fully Lost] A strange World War II, German mod for Morrowind.
Hello, recently I've started taking interest in game oddities, like strange mods and bootleg versions. I rememberd that one of my old friends bought himself a weird Morrowind CD while we were on a trip in Germany. It must've been somewhere around 2013... He found it on a flea market, sold by some younger guy; he had a whole basket full of newer and retro games that he got from his uncle if I remember correctly. He gave us better price for buying at least 5 games and among those my friend got a German version of Morrowind, packed in some cheap looking paper Morrowind CD cover, the ones you could usually get in gaming magazines; the CD itself was a regural CD you could buy in most electronics stores, with Morrowind and some German words written on it with a marker.
It turned out that it was some heavily modded version of Morrowind, of course all in German, and it was supposed to be like a stylized WW2 mod or something... I don't remember much about it, beause I've seen my friend play it maybe two or three times and I tried it once, but I remember that it had some poorly implemented gun models (which were "working") and you could join Germans, Russians and Americans/British. It must've been an unfinished project because some locations looked just as they do in Morrowind and some were completely remade, with new buildings and NPCs. The entierty of Balmora and Seyda Neen were completely changed, that I remember for sure.
The game was VERY unstable and would crash at least every half an hour or so, and when my friend got himself a laptop with Windows 10 he couldn't even run it anymore, the game would crash in the main menu. Couple weeks ago I've asked if he still has it but because it didn't work he donated it to a local charity house alongside with some other games. It's been years now so I highly doubt that they still have it lying around.
I was wondering if perhaps some of you know if such a mod exists somewhere on the internet or at least something similar to it? I tried looking around but haven't found it.

2023.03.29 18:02 tableau_kun Backyard Office - Total Cost Per Sqft?
We’re considering building a 200 sqft backyard office to free up space in our house. I’ve looked at various companies suggested in other posts (i.e. Tuff Shed, Sheds and More, etc), but wondered what others are seeing in cost per sqft for a nice, fully finished out detached office space?
Fully finished out = foundation (concrete pad?) + structure + insulation/drywall + electrical + HVAC (mini split?)

2023.03.29 18:02 CT_Phipps Ten Recommended Forgotten Realms Novels
https://beforewegoblog.com/ten-recommended-forgotten-realms-novels/ Dungeons and Dragons novels are pretty much responsible for me becoming the fantasy fan I became as an adult. If not for the books I bought at my local Waldenbooks (the literary equivalent of a Blockbuster from the Nineties and just as absent today), I would have rotted my brain on silly things like interacting with my peers or group activities like a healthy functioning teenager. Whew. Glad I avoided that. Just kidding.
One of my favorite settings for Dungeons and Dragons novels were the Forgotten Realms. The creation of Ed Greenwood with other authors adding to it, I always found the setting to be wilder and more fantastic than Dragonlance's Krynn.
People who have been following my work on Before We Go or Reddit will note this is the third article on the subject with
Ten Recommended Classic Dungeons and Dragons Novels and
Ten Recommended Dragonlance Novels.
Special thanks to Whitney Reinhart who helped me write this.
10. Darkwalker on the Moonshaes by Douglas Niles The first of the Forgotten Realms novels wasn't actually intended for the setting but was written independently. Nevertheless, I love the people of the Moonshaes. A very simple "beginner's novel" for people getting into fantasy, it's really good and entertaining. The dark god Bhaal wants to take over the Moonshaes and kill the Earthmother. Its sequel trilogy is even better, dealing with the generational nature of Forgotten Realms as well as how even heroes can fall.
Bhaal and his minions are pretty generic "muhahaha" villains while Robyn and Tristan are stalwart goodie-goodies but that isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes you just want a god of darkness invading the peaceful Not-Britons before they are defeated through the power of love. I also liked the fact druids are the focus of the book since they rarely got attention in classic Dungeons and Dragons.
9. Azure Bonds by Jeff Grubb and Kate Novac Azure Bonds is fantastic as an introduction of the differences between the Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance or, say, something like the Lord of the Rings. Whereas other stories ease you into the weird, Azure Bonds has cloning, a halfling bard, a dragon man paladin, a chatty red dragon, demons, liches, sexy sorceress ex-opera singers, and a magical curse in just the first volume. The characters are likable, entertaining, and just plain weird. It's a reminder why 5th Edition has Tieflings and Dragonborn as starting characters.
Alias is a fantastic protagonist as a sword-swinging sarcastic mercenary with the voice of an angel. She has no respect for the gods, society, her fellow mercenaries, and altruism. Which is problematic when she has a charitable lizard man, a faithful merchant, and a roguish halfling as her associatives.
8. Dissolution by Richard Lee Byers What do runaway males, a slave revolt, and powerless priestesses have in common? The potential for true chaos and societal collapse. Lolth’s priestesses struggle to contain the secret of Lolth’s disappearance while wizards contrive to exploit their unexpected weakness. Rogue male drow band together and partner with an unlikely ally to incite a rebellion and wreak further havoc on the always precarious balance of power in Menzoberranzan.
In this, the first book of the War of the Spider Queen sextet, the Ruling Council chooses four representatives to determine whether other drow enclaves are affected or if Menzoberranzan stands alone. Phauraun Mizzrym, chief threat to Socere archmage Gromph Baenre; Ryld Argith, a Master of Melee-Magthere; Quenthel Baenre, Mistress of Arach-Tinilith and next in line to the Matron of House Baenre, First House of Menzoberranzan; and, Faeryl Zauvirr, daughter of Ched Nasad and ambassador to Menzoberranzan must journey into the Underdark and work together to preserve and protect their homeland, their way of life.
7. Elminster: The Making of a Mage by Ed Greenwood Who knows the Forgotten Realms more than the creator? Ed Greenwood manages to distill the events of an entire trilogy's worth of epic fantasy into a single book. Elminster of Shadow has long been the ultimate quest-giver in the Realms, being a sage on everything but also slightly mad. Reading his origins is a fun deconstruction of classic fantasy tropes as he is a hidden prince as well as farm boy who needs to retake his homeland from the sinister Mage Lords. Along the way, he becomes both lover as well as apprentice to the goddess of magic, Mystra.
Some people have criticized Elminster as a Gary Stu over the years, do to the over-the-top nature of his adventures but I actually appreciate the more interesting story of self-realization that he undergoes. Mystra forces Elminster to live a life as a rogue, priest, and even woman to help give him a perspective on the varieties of lives in the Realms. While he wants to overthrow the Mage Lords, by the time he finally confronts them, he's mostly let vengeance leave his heart. We also get why Mystra wants so many Chosen, magic tends to attract power-hungry lunatics and this turns the public off it.
6. Prince of Lies by James Lowder The gods are always active in Dungeons and Dragons but the ones in Krynn are far more morally absolute than the ones in Faerun. Here, at least under some authors, they are every bit as petty and conniving as the Olympians. Their flaws are exaggerated and even the gods of good are prone to major screw ups. After the Time of Troubles, three new gods are elevated to ruling over the spheres of Death, Magic, and Evil. Watching Kelemevor, Mystra, and Cyric grow into their roles is a fascinating story.
Prince of Lies has Cyric as the primary focus with the newly crowned God of Evil being absolutely crap at his job. He's more concerned about making his followers worship him fanatically and systematically dismantles the Zhentarim that, previously, were the most effective force for villainy in the Realms. However, just because he's terrible at his job doesn't mean he's not incredibly dangerous. An idiot with omnipotent power is no less terrifying than a genius. Just in different ways. The sequel, The Trial of Cyric the Mad, is also a fantastic follow-up by Troy Denning.
5. Elfshadow by Elaine Cunningham Arilyn Moonblade is a fantastic character and I really enjoy her as a contrast to Drizzt and Tanis Half-Elven as "outsider" characters. Drizzt is a fantastic character but being a drow means that stories regarding racism always have the tinge of, 'But Drow are a race of evil schemers.' Tanis also has a really dark origin as well. Arilyn Moonblade? She's a half-elf who is hated precisely because elves are blood purity obsessed bigots. Worse, she struggles with the fact that as the only half-elven Moonblade wearer, she is a "model minority" to some while a hated usurper to others. She just wants to kick some Zhentarim ass.
Arilyn is accompanied by a Wizard/Thief/Fighter named Danilo Than. If you're thinking multiclassing into those three classes versus going into Bard is a bit overcomplicated, then you're probably right. Also, it predates a similar joke in Order of the Stick by a decade. It's also one of the rare fantasy romances I'm actually invested in.
4. Canticle by RA Salvatore While the Legend of Drizzt books are some of the most famous fantasy of all time, certainly up there with the best of "popcorn fantasy", I actually prefer the Cleric Quintet of Bob Salvatore's creations. Cadderly is an agnostic cleric of Deneir who struggles with the existence of his god despite being granted magic by him. He is aided by a beautiful bare-fisted monk named Danic and two oddball dwarves named the Bouldershoulder Brothers.
I like Cadderly as an alternative to Drizzt as he while he constanty questions and philosophizes, he often comes to definitive conclusions. I also feel like priests and clerics are an underrepresented group in fantasy.
3. Daughter of the Drow by Elaine Cunningham Liriel Baenre is a drow apart. She is the daughter of Gromph Baenre, Archmage of Sorcere and brother to the most powerful Matron of Menzoberranzan. Liriel’s innate magical abilities are beyond those of most drow wizards and under Gromph’s protection, she is allowed to run free and wild throughout the city and wild Underdark tunnels.
She laughs and dances, fights and schemes, studies and explores at will…until Matron Triel Baenre orders her wayward niece to enter Arach-Tinilith, the proving grounds for all of Lolth’s priestesses. But Liriel yearns for more than clerical supremacy. She discovers a way to take her Underdark magic to the surface world but the power players, both priestesses and wizards alike, seek to strip her of her discovery, her freedom, her life.
2. Forgotten Realms Classics by Jeff Grubb This is cheating because it's a comic book series rather than books but I have to say that Jeff Grubb's Forgotten Realms comics are one of my all-time favorite. The crew of the Realms Master are an eccentric bunch of oddballs ranging from an iron golem to an alcoholic former paladin to an incredibly obnoxious elven priest. The crew only grows stranger from there. It's the willingness to embrace the wackiness of Dungeons and Dragons that makes me happy.
Dungeons and Dragons is, at its heart, not just fantasy. It is all fantasy everywhere shoved into a blender and then you hit frape. This is the kind of book where you have an airship, a winged rogue, liches, and the Time of Troubles. Yet, for all the sillingness, there's actually quite a few stories that are touching or serious. When you hear about a halfling with substance abuse problems, you think it's a joke, but it's actually played entirely straight. Not everything has aged well (a half-drow is split between her dark and light personalities and guess which ones are the evil?) but most of it is awesome.
1. Homeland by R.A. Salvatore There was really no chance that there could be any other book at the top. As much as I love Everis Cale, the Spellfire books, or the Cormyr series, nothing will ever approach the popularity of the Legend of Drizzt series. While it technically started as the Wulfgar series with The Icewind Dale books, the books that cemented the popularity of D&D’s most iconic ranger (if not character) were the ones about his origins in Menzoberrazan.
Part of what makes the books so great is that they’re so very different from typical fantasy. The decadent corrupt matriarchal society of the drow is incredibly fun. It’s absolutely ridiculous but played dead serious as Drizzt struggles to deal with the fact everyone else he knows is an enormous sociopath. The subsequent books lack the punch of Homeland but subsequent series have given us many more insights into drow society (two of which are on this list). Bob Salvatore may not have created the drow, a lot of the society he depicted was in
Vault of the Drow (D3) but he certainly popularized them.

2023.03.29 18:02 throwRAbigchanges My (27f) husband (33m) says I'm not doing my job as a wife right and I need to quit my hobbies/career goals (part 2???)
A lot of people in the last post assumed that the time we spent together had changed since I was able to make such drastic changes.
Nothing about our at home schedules have changed. I go to the gym before he even wakes up most mornings and am back home cooking breakfast before he gets out of the shower. If I don't have time to go in the morning, I go during my lunch break since I work remotely.
People asked regarding me buying the house and getting a new car if this bothered him: Yes and no. Obviously owning a home cost us more than renting but we split bills 70/30 and I pay the majority. I made sure his monthly costs would stay the same amount since his pay at work has not changed in 2+ years and likely will not change soon.
There was also questions about the other changes I had left out or changes to my appearance, yes, I lost 80-90 lbs and went from dying my hair purple/pink/blue/blonde and went back to my natural redhead/ginger. I didn't exactly ask his approval but any chance I made he knew was happening before it happened.
After I told him he was coming off as bitter and insecure, he started acting all offended and upset. I started playing one of the old youtube series we bonded over while dating and we tried to kill the tense vibes with some casual conversation and snacking.
I opened up the floor for a conversation and we had a heart to heart, but I'm left feeling even more confused and irritated than before.
He said that while he likes the changes, and he is more attracted to me than ever, other people in his life have been comparing my "success" (I would hardly call it that) to his lifestyle. His friends have called me his "sugar mama" and were the ones that put the idea in his head that I would only start putting this much effort into my looks all of a sudden for another man.
I told him his friends were either jealous or sexist, but neither of them are good enough reasons to internalize their words and then cause us REAL problems by their fake mindsets. He decided to start defending his friends.
Then he said don't act like your friends are so much better than mine, because the one I'm closest to is a stay at home wife and has never worked a salary job a day in her life since she got married really young. I asked what that was supposed to mean, and he said she was just another woman who only has something to offer by cooking, cleaning, and sex.
This is where I might have gone too far. I egged him on. I asked him about all the negative things he thought about those kind of women in an agreeable tone and he went into a bit of a rant about how wives like that have no use, bring in no money, just stress out their husbands and annoy their kids, etc.
Then I asked him what he thinks those wives think of him. Compared to their husbands. And what they would have to say about what he comes home and does after work, which is absolutely nothing. And told him to stop judging people who took a different walk of life if he doesn't want anyone to judge him for his.
I reminded him that I do 95% of the cooking and most of the cleaning and he still fucks up our laundry every time he washes it and has to be reminded to take out the trash while I still pay majority of the bills and pay for all dates/vacations too. So judging them when you're living an even "easier" lifestyle and have no children to watch after and can't even do laundry right.
We went back and forth and things got heated and he told me that I always hated myself, thats why I had to change everyone about myself to be happy. I told him don't be mad at me for wanting to fix what I hated about myself instead of just hating everyone else and being an asshole to the people who care about me.
He said inside I'm still the same fat girl no matter what I do. I told him that I know that and hope it stays that way forever because it showed me whats real and whats not. He said I'm no where near the same person he married, and I said I guess not. And told him he was silly for expecting me to stay the same 24 year old forever and that never giving me room to grow is like putting me in a box.
He said he loves me and isnt trying to do that but that I'm biting off more from life than I can chew and causing unnecessary problems by being selfish. I asked what about my decisions or changes were selfish, what inconveniences him, etc. He could not give me one straight answer. I asked if he wanted to split up (could not use the word divorce. felt to heavy during the convo.) and he said no immediately but that he also doesn't feel happy feeling like he can't measure up to me.
Another part where I may of messed up, I gave a deep big ass sigh and started telling me to stop comparing his self to me because we're two different people sharing OUR lives not living one life and he needed to get some self esteem and stop worrying about the opinions of other men who aren't doing any better in life.
Also, the "friend" that said most of this shit to him is in the middle of a nasty divorce after getting caught cheating on his wife and her airing it out on social media and him losing his rank in the military and facing possible discharge so yeah of course he wants to sabotage someone else's relationship.
Our conversation didn't do anything besides let me know that all of you were right, he's resentful that I bettered myself and is lashing out at me. He promised that the cheating accusations would stop, but he still feels like I am going out of my way to upset the balance in our lives and making things difficult. But when I asked him if I should go ahead and order some McDonalds and start gaining the weight back (a joke lol) he immediately was like "noooo you're so hot thats okay but the other stuff..." aka career and hobbies. Aka anything that doesnt do something for his dick.
I was so disgusted after that I went to workout and then told him I need some time to think and organize my thoughts alone. He needs to worry about breakfast lunch and dinner on his own for the next few days so I can have time to think. He seemed pretty surprised and thought I was being extra.
I wanted to give an update, but also wanted to know if someone out there in the interverse knows of some resources where I can help myself work through this. Of course, we discussed couples therapy but the price is ehhhh and would require some rebudgeting to make it work longterm.

- Learn about the future of media and code — the front-end and backend of the internet — so you can focus your efforts.
- Understand digital leverage, distribution, no-code tools, and digital assets so you can take part in the mental & financial wealth transfer.
Phase 1) Creating A Meaningful Niche Every day I hear people going on and on about trying to find their niche.I also hear people talking about how they don’t know how to combine what they love talking about with what will sell. You already have the answer. You just don’t have the clarity. - Develop a long-term strategy to create your own niche — meaning you don’t have to worry about your “competition” playing status games.
- Discover your life’s work, curiosities, and obsessions. I see too many people that are uncertain about this for years.
- Cultivate and turn your vision, goals, and values into a brand that attracts an audience you love interacting with (and that will buy from you, and only you).
Phase 2) Content Strategy There is one thing that separates those who make it in the digital economy and those who don’t.It’s the quality, articulation, and perceived originality of their content. The content you post has to make sense to the people you attract.Everyone has a different voice and tone that they resonate with. That they are congruent with and trust. It has to change their thought patterns or behavior — that’s what makes you memorable. That’s what separates you from the sea of people posting surface-level copy-cat style posts.Example and putting my money where my mouth is: - Become an expert-level speaker or writer on the topics you care about.
- Never run out of content ideas for your posts or promotions (without using content templates — that’s how you stay a commodity).
- Create posts, blogs, tweets, images, and videos that resonate with other’s on a deep level. People will actually ask you how you got so good at what you do.
- Separate yourself from the ocean of B-tier creators that struggle to sell their products, services, andhave their ideas stick in the head of their audience.
- Implement our Epistemic Research Method — which is just a fancy way of saying scientific research method… but it’s for researching your mind to craft brilliant content and product ideas.
Phase 3) Crafting Your Offer Most people are sitting on a goldmine of skills, experience, and knowledge ( that they can use to help people 1-2 steps behind them). That is what people pay for.Considering 95% of the market are beginners… if you are good at something, you can help them get to your level ( no matter how “basic” you think the information is).Do you not watch basic content all day anyway? People don’t want new information, they want to be reminded of what works. - Use our Minimum Viable Offer strategy to start monetizing immediately (and have something to improve over time, rather than procrastinating until it’s perfect).
- Have a strategy for reducing the time you spend working over time (as you build leverage and improve your offer).
- Know how to create your own customers from the audience you are building, instead of “finding” the right customer for your offer.
- Take the guesswork out of building coaching, consulting, or digital product offers.
Phase 4) Marketing Strategy You aren’t making money because you aren’t promoting yourself or your offer. That is literally the only way to make money. Have something desirable and consistently put it in front of peoples’ faces. In Phase 4, I will show you how to systemize, automate, and be consistent with simple promotions. You will be able to make money without having the chance of forgetting to do it (or letting fear of failure get in the way). - Learn to sell on social media, in your writing, and across different platforms.
- Have consistent sales coming in while focusing on your meaningful message (no need to sound salesy all the time).
- Learn advanced automation strategies that you can implement at your own pace, especially once you validate your offer.
Bonus) The Creator Command Center The Creator Command Center is a Notion template that houses all of the systems. This is how you will manage your brand, content, offer creation, marketing strategy, and systemized promotions for consistent sales. Bonus) Live Product Build & Launch In the first Digital Economics Cohort, I built out my course The 2 Hour Writer.I have videos showing how I build it with the strategies in phase 3 and 4.There is a bonus module that shows how I had an $85,000 launch that resulted in my first $100K month.I did this to prove the strategies inside Digital Economics work if you stick to the plan. And, this past Black Friday, I blew my that monthly high out of the water in 4 days. That’s the power of these strategies if you stay consistent with your life’s work. submitted by AutoModerator to Agency_Navigator_Gadz [link] [comments] |

2023.03.29 18:01 lifeguard37 Putting emergency savings into this short-term bond fund: a terrible idea?
My wife and I are newbies to personal finance but trying to get our financial house in order. As a first step we hired a financial advisor which we thought was fee-only, but have since realized also gets commissions on what they sell us (and was pushing for us to buy a whole life insurance policy, which is what first raised red flags for us).
We've decided to go for term life instead but have thought that maybe other than the life insurance thing (they are affiliated with Mass Mutual) they might be giving us sensible advice. Recently we had a conversation about our emergency fund. We want to put aside a larger-than-normal amount for both emergencies and what we're thinking of as "contingencies" (e.g. an unexpected need for house, e.g. a new oil tank, that isn't so urgent that we'd need cash on hand the next day, but where we might suddenly need $5-10k that we weren't expecting in a period of weeks or months).
I'd already stashed a good chunk of cash in a high-yield savings account with a current APR of about 3.5% for this purpose. Our advisors said that that APR may drop back down to low levels and suggested instead that we put that money into a short-duration bond fund instead. They sent us a prospectus for one from Lord Abbett (I've uploaded a screenshot of the first page
here). I'm completely inexperienced at reading prospectuses but based on the Average Annual Returns listed on page 1 this looks like it would be a terrible investment, and much worse than my savings account. Am I missing something here?
Thanks in advance for any insights.

2023.03.29 18:01 IAmTheGlazed Should I tell my housemate about the scummy stuff her boyfriend has done?
Long post, read if you want
So over the last month, me and my 4 other housemates have gotten in to a fight with our other housemate, I will call them Jill.
She's extremely messy and leaves mess for us to clean, she acts like we are her parents who have to clean up after herself. She's accused us of stealing her money which I know for a fact, no one has, that's the main reason I am not speaking to her, don't ever accuse me of stealing money. And overall, she has just been condescending and sometimes rude (tbf, she clearly isn't aware) to us.
We barely speak now and she mainly spends her time at her boyfriends who I will now get into. Just over a week ago, I found out two of my close friends used to live with the guy in first year of uni. They told me stuff that makes me loathe him.
There was a lot he said and acted when he lived with them but the main things was
- He had a crush on both of my friends, but specifically, my friend who I will call Bea. Bea was open and said she was debating her own asexuality. However, he still was apparently trying to get with her. However, she started dating my other friend to which his response to when she mentioned it was "Well, I guess you're really not asexual then" in a snarky, mean attitude. This upset her a lot. Now for the big issue.
- He sold his exes nudes. So my friend, who we will call Phia, was doing a whole thing with a sugar daddy in which she exchanged nudes with him consensually. Phia was open about this and the guy openly gave his ex girlfriends nudes to her (Phia has claimed responsibility on her part in this. I'll be honest, I don't care, I trust her still as my mate, she's not the one who gave his exes nudes to somewhere carelessly).
So with this information, I am the decider of whether I should say something or not. My house says that it's your choice but tbh, they are clearly at a point where they want to see it blow up in her face (selfishly, a part of me wants that as well, she has a horrible taste in men, she should figure it out herself). The house also say that it's not our business now since we clearly are no longer friends with Jill.
But with that said, a part of me wants to be friends with her again. She was one of the closest friends I had and I think everything that happened didn't have to get this bad. Despite this, she still hasn't apologised to any of us or me. I want things to go back to normal but she is making it very hard for me.
Bea, Phia and the rest of our friend group believe I should say something but are adamant really on what I do since they know its not their business.
The other thing is, I don't want any more drama. I have been dealing with a lot of drama amongst my friends like with Jill and a collective of other stuff with people who are scumbags. I'm tired. I know if I do say something, it'll get bigger and I am going to be in the centre of it and I don't want to drag Bea & Phia into a whole new thing. I'm exhausted.
Also, despite how much she has pissed me off, she seems happy with him. They are a very cringe couple but Jill and this guy seem to be happy. Maybe he has changed a new leaf. But again, he's sold his exes nudes for fucks sake, he surely doesn't deserve sympathy.
What should I do?

2023.03.29 18:01 betsyrosstothestage Plumbers (and Bathroom Enthusiasts) Can we talk about venting?
Preface: before I get the “hire a plumber” comments, which is completely understandable and I will, let me just say this is a project that’s a few months out and I just want as much information as I can for the early planning and costs.
Question: How does venting work in plumbing? Can I install a shower drain on the line currently as is?
I have a century house with a classic northeast 6ft. basement. The upstairs has a full bathroom. There’s a rear 1st floor addition that has its own dirt foundation, no access. The rear addition has a toilet, sink, and washedryer hookups.
I want to install a shower in the rear addition. You can see in the pictures how the drain lines run out against the back wall. The most left is the kitchen sink/dishwasher. The middle is the toilet, and the right is the sink. I’m realizing now, I don’t know where the washing machine drains, but I bet it’s tied under the subfloor to the toilet. All three are tied into that’s tied into the main sewer line. You can also see the drain stack for the upstairs full bathroom and the outside French drain for the gutters. I don’t have any issues with sewer gasses or backup, but the sinks are S-Traps.
The rear addition does not have a vent stack above it. The main house, I’m not sure, but I bet that it has a vent stack above the upstairs full bath.
The Plan: Keep the toilet and sink as-is. Move the washedryer stack over, but keep them in the addition. Install a shower drain along this same back wall and attach it into the 3” line where the other lines are tied into. I can also tie the washedryer separately into the same 3” line. I’m tearing out the back room down to the studs because the shitty flooring as-is has buckled and could be used in the next Olympics gymnastics event as a spring board.
I am having a professional plumber install the drain, because I want the permits recorded. Do I need to consider venting in this situation? I’ve read up on it, I understand the siphoning problem, but not sure if that applies in this circumstance.
https://imgur.com/a/ugneAwM I’m also okay with moving the washedryer to the basement and tying them into the sewer line further down, but would rather have it upstairs.
Also: I’ll be cleaning up the PEX, insulation, and electrical. 🙄 I love a good cousin Frank renovation.
Thank you!

2023.03.29 18:01 legalthrowaway541 Unauthorized Use of My Voice? Am I SOL or is there anything I can do?
Using a throwaway as the individual mentioned below is aware of my main account and has been watching me like a hawk.
In short - An ex who’s in the music industry used an iMessage voice note that I sent him in confidence in a song that he will be releasing on streaming platforms for monetary gain. He released a teaser of this song, consisting only of my voice note and added instrumentals, to his social media platforms that are also monetized. Over a year ago, prior to our break up, he revealed he’d been saving my voice notes to use in his music. I immediately let him know I don’t consent to the use of ANY of my voice notes. I think clarified I’d take whatever legal action necessary if he ignored this. I have written clarification of this as well where I clearly voiced I did not consent. Do I have any options for pursuing this legally? It’s preferred that this not be released, however if I do not have any standing to prevent that, am I entitled to a percentage of any money made? Just wanting to know what my options are, if any. I am based in Texas, while he is based outside of this state. There’s no doubt that this is my voice. I still have a copy of this voice note as well.
Thank you for any advice/insight!

2023.03.29 18:00 MyopicChihuahua86 Is it fair that I sent this to my dad?
Hi everyone. I am a 36-year-old woman who is married with two lovely boys, aged 7 and 11. When I was a kid, I was the middle child. My father was raised in a home where he was adopted, and once heard his dad say he wanted to send him back. As a result, he ended up lying all the time, to please his parents, and now lying is a way of life for him.
But it's more than that. When my siblings and I were kids, my dad was verbally, emotionally and mentally abusive. From time to time, he also got physical. We got spanked, as many kids did back then, but this was farm from a whack on the bum as discipline. My dad would scream at us, chase us around the house, pin us down and pull our pants and underwear down and wail on us as hard as he could (even when I was as old as 17). He also would beat my brother sometimes, for the smallest of infractions, such as finishing off the pail of ice cream (not eating the whole thing, just finishing it off). And one of my earliest childhood memories is waking up to my parents fighting and opening the door of my room, standing in the dark and seeing my father push my mother up against a wall and threaten to kill her. I might have been 5 or 6 years old, and my mother told me this really did happen so it's not a false memory.
We have all been impacted by my dad in different ways. My mom is a people pleaser with really low self esteem. She is still with him to this day. My brother has anger issues that he takes out on his family. My sister struggles with anxiety and CPTSD. And from a child, I have struggled with OCD, anxiety and depression and recently was told I have CPTSD too from my therapist.
About ten years ago, when my first born son was only a year old, my dad suffered successive strokes and a degenerative kidney disease. The strokes really changed his personality and weakened him physically. Now, I no longer fear him, or fear that he will hurt my mom. But even though the strokes made him more sensitive, even since then there has been so many times that he has been very cruel and mean emotionally.
It all came to a head just over a year ago when I had had enough, I had caught my dad staring at my older son as though he hated him for no reason (my sons are both sweet, gentle, quiet boys) and then he snapped at my younger son for no reason. I told my mom and dad that I was not comfortable with my boys being around my dad and that we wouldn't be coming by the house. At the same time, my sister was finally getting to the root of some of her issues and had told my mom about them. All this was too much for my mom and she threatened to divorce my dad. They slept in separate bedrooms for months but both went to therapy separately, and in the end it died down and things went back to the way they were.
I noticed a change in my dad. He seemed to be trying hard, but of course there were times when his old ways would return. They did again yesterday and it was just too much for me. I've been going through a bit of a harder time with my anxiety and depression, due to some big life changes (my older son came out as trans -- so beyond proud of him that he is being true to himself, and we are fully supportive, but it's still a lot to digest) as well as contemplating a possible move that would mean me leaving a job I really love, but one that would be really good for my family. I've never been good with change and so it kind of had my nervous system a little over-sensitized with my old symptoms coming back, which sucks.
I told my mom I was struggling and she told my dad, and so they thought of driving to where we live (forty-five minutes away) to take us to lunch. I thought it was a lovely idea. It's spring break for my kids and my husband is working all week, so we were looking for fun things to do.
Lunch was going good, but my oldest son has the tail end of a cold and so is sniffling a bit. Well, my dad right away started mocking the sniffling, but in a subtle way, by copying my son every time sniffled. Then I noticed that my older son sniffled and my dad started glaring at him. I called him on it right away. Calmly, but firmly, I told him to stop mocking and stop glaring. My dad said he wasn't doing either, I said it was obvious he was and to please stop.
Then he turned his hate-filled glare on me, and it made me feel like I had shrunk down to the size of a little toy soldier. I told him that now he was doing it to me, and he needed to stop that behaviour if he wanted to continue to be around my kids or myself. He didn't say anything, just that he wasn't doing it. I sat there for a few minutes and then excused myself to the bathroom to collect myself.
When I got home, I broke down and told my husband about it and how it made me feel unlovable and unworthy, even though I know that is not true.
I called my mom when they got home and she said that she had told my dad she was disappointed in him. She ate dinner in a different room and he didn't sleep in their bedroom with her last night. So now I'm feeling guilty that I caused an issue between them.
I was hoping my dad would call me yesterday or this morning to apologize but he didn't, so I ended up sending this message to him:
Hello Dad, I was hoping that after you got home yesterday or even sometime this morning you would have reached out to me to apologize. I am disappointed that you did not. It was very apparent that you were mocking Will's sniffling yesterday, but you always do that. Mom told me you do that to her every time she has a cold, and when she calls you on it, you just lie about it.
But then you glared at Will. And whether you were aware you were doing it or not, the moment I told you you were, you should have been apologetic, not defensive. You should have said, "Ooops, sorry, I didn't know I was doing it, I'll try not to." Instead, you just focused a really mean stare in my direction. And again, when I called you on it, you just lied and said you were not doing it. It completely ruined the lunch for me, and it really hurt my feelings.
We have told you time and time again that your mean glares are hurtful and that it is totally unacceptable for you to do that to me or the kids. ESPECIALLY the kids. For a while, you were working on it, when you were in therapy, and you were doing really well. We were all really proud of you. But now you are doing it again and I'm really disappointed. But what's more disappointing is that when someone tells you what you're doing and asks you to stop, instead of apologizing and trying to do better, you just double down and lie about it.
You caused me a lot of sadness and pain in my childhood. That is what it hurts so much when you glare at me with so much anger in your eyes. It reminds me of what it was like when you were verbally, mentally, and emotionally abusive to me.
I had planned on taking the kids to sleep over at your house tomorrow night, but I no longer feel comfortable with that. Will shouldn't have to put up with you glaring at him, and I shouldn't have to put up with worrying about whether you will or not, or whether you will glare at me. It will take some time before I will feel comfortable around you and before I want the kids around you.
Here is how he replied:
Thanks Millie, I’m truly sorry for the way that I acted yesterday. Please feel comfortable that I will try to never make you or the kids uncomfortable with me. Please give me another chance and plan on coming back tomorrow.
Then I asked him why he lied about it. He said: I can’t explain why I lied about it, I guess it’s a very poor way of trying to keep me out of trouble. I thanked him for his honesty and told him I appreciate it. I said I will need a little time but that I am happy that we had the talk and that I loved him.
I guess part of me is feeling guilty because was it fair to send such a long and complicated message to someone who struggles with their cognition because of their strokes? And now my mom is mad at my dad and I feel bad. It's just like in my childhood -- my sister was to young to get involved and my brother stayed out of things, but I would always get in the middle of my parent's fights to try to defend my mom, and make them worse, and feel so guilty about it. Ugh, I just need advice. My biggest aim in life is to treat everyone with kindness, and I don't know if I was kind!

2023.03.29 18:00 meeshkyle Boat Cover, Car Port, or Garage/Storage?
Hello Fellow Boaters,
I might be upgrading my old '88 runabout to something newer, better, and more expensive. I live in West Arizona on the Colorado River, and the summers get damn hot and one of the running jokes/issues in the area is that the sun destroys everything. Right now, I keep my '88 runabout on my side yard with a standard boat cover. It looks to have done its job well in keeping the interior from getting destroyed in the 3 years I've owned it. I did just replace the cover after 3 years because the old cover did get a little degraded from the sun, and did get torn from the wind because of it.
With my looking at getting a new boat in the future, I'm trying to evaluate if doing my boat cover method would be suitable for it, or if I should try other options.
I do have an option to build a car port type structure to give it permanent shade. That would be the lowest cost long term solution at about $2000 to build/install. It of course would still have the general heat of the area to deal with, but there would be the extra shade with the boat cover still installed.
The other option is that there are many boat storage places around the area with indoor garaged (some climate controlled) storage. However, they do cost $150-$500 per month depending on place, size, access type, etc.
I guess I'm trying to ask from much more experienced Boaters, how reliable do we think boat covers are in protecting the boat from the elements?
If you are not a fan of outside with only a boat cover, would you choose the car port idea over the off-site garage storage?
And no, I don't have a boat-deep garage at my house, so it won't fit in the garage.

2023.03.29 18:00 Mefx97 How do I transition from Auto finance/sales into a Saas Career?
My background was a typical salesperson for 4 years at a car dealership. After some experience I finally broke into a hybrid role in which everything is over the phone and I close deals for vehicles.
This current role I do is sourcing, doing objection calls and logic closing for clients which I do good. Very difference since I do the finance and lease contracts over the phone/email. Compared to in-person like a dealership.
At the end of the day I’m just tired of doing vehicles and want a career that allows me to work from home eventually. My sales experience is pretty good considering I’m 25 and have cleared over 100k each year. I just know for a fact I can have better potential branching out.
