2023.03.22 08:15 PatrikPatrik I can sing toxic by Britney but what else?

Hi!
I don’t know anything about singing but I like to sing. So I’m going to use the wrong words here but hope you understand. So for karaoke purposes I like singing but as a guy I realise there’s a lot of songs I love to listen to but my voice can’t sing it. Like blur, strokes etc is incredibly simple at times compared to Whitney Houston but it’s not my vocal range (key?) and they are impossible to “transpose?”. And here’s what I wanted advice on; I love to sing toxic by Britney because I can sing it in a lower register than the recording but it still matches the key. So I looked it up and the song is in c minor. But that doesn’t mean I should look for those types of songs right? What songs are the same vocal range as toxic is my basic question but I don’t think that’s the correct terminology

2023.03.22 08:15 Emo_Pimp [HELP] Rhyme Schemes

For the past year I have been obsessed with writing poems and raps that follow a specific rhyme scheme. I do not know if it is an established rhyme scheme or if it has a name. The last word of every stanza (slightly different for my raps) rhymes and I use the same rhyming sound for the whole piece. The part that makes it a little different it's that the rhyming words occur in alphabetical order. Think abecedarian, but with the last word instead of the first. Is there a name for this?

2023.03.22 08:14 Disastrous-King7451 i wish i was just skinny

I'm 18f, for context I'm also Indian and i have really severe pcos. im usually better at handling my body image issues but I just cant do it today.
growing up, i was never skinny per se, but I also wasn't fat? I look back on my photos and realize I was actually at a good, healthy weight but I have vivid memories of my mom being so mean to me. i remember being 11 and being told if i didn't lose weight and get skinny no one would want to marry me or be my friend, or not letting me wear jeans when we visited extended family because my thighs "looked too big". I don't understand why I keep letting it get to me. my entire life I've tried everything, starving myself, exercising till I'm about to pass out, eating less but nothing works.i feel like she's never satisfied with the way I look, if I gain weight if my stomach looks too big, but if i lose some weight my nose looks too big, my neck looks too small. it's always SOMETHING.
I feel like hating the way i look is all I've ever known and I'm so tired. I talk to my friends but I dont think they really get it? i just feel so gross all the time, I wish I could just put on some fucking clothes and look in the mirror and feel okay. I understand, with the society we live in that it's seen as the norm to make comments like these, ive tried communicating so many times that it genuinely hurts my feeling, every time I cry she says "if i don't tell you, who will?" and that's the end of it. I love my mom so much, and i understand she's been conditioned to think this way but sometimes I hate her for making me feel like this my entire life. I know it's also my responsibility to undo all this internalized insecurity but it feels too big to get over sometimes, feels like the crux of my existence.
that's all, thank u for listening haha

2023.03.22 08:13 cold_quinoa Never ever ever name anything blue waffle

I suppose somebody in some corner of the internet did something gross or weird? I really don't care. The great thing about being over 40 is that I don't waste a single second worrying if internet virgins want to giggle at every word in the English language and pretend it's sexual. I make my waffles blue sometimes because I love cornbread, and blue cornmeal has a better flavor and texture than yellow.

2023.03.22 08:13 user18382619 How do I explain professionally that I can’t live with my parents?

(TW- Self Harm) Hey guys, I’m 20yrs old from Aus and I’m currently trying to claim centrelink. I was working but due to mental health/medical conditions I can no longer work and afford rent. I need to explain why I am unable to live at home with my parents and i’m struggling to word it professionally. It’s not as though my parents are abusive, they aren’t bad people I just cannot be there. Even when I visit for a little bit I get overwhelmed and need to leave. Being in their house brings up triggering memories from my teen years which I work really hard to forget. The atmosphere is horrible as there is heaps of tension between my siblings and my dad & stepmum (I think they are doing to break up and my parents divorce already gave me enough trauma). My stepbrother whom I’m not comfortable with due to some incidents that occurred a few years back is now living there and there’s next to no space or privacy (especially because they are doing renovations and there’s only one shower). The house used to be my step-families and it’s cluttered and messy and makes me feel dirty constantly. It really triggers my OCD. I’ve struggled for years with self-harm addiction and i’m scared moving back their with make me relapse. I haven’t lived with my mum for 8 years as living there caused me so much anxiety and we would constantly fight so that’s not an option. Anyway, you get the general idea. Anyway I can professionally shorten that down?

Introduction to altcoin trading strategy
What is an altcoin? Altcoins are simply alternative cryptocurrencies to Bitcoin. The term “altcoin” is short for “alternative coin”. So, essentially, altcoins are all cryptocurrency assets that are not Bitcoin.
What is an altcoin trading strategy? An altcoin trading strategy is a plan for investing in altcoins with the goal of making profits.
There are many different altcoin trading strategies that investors can use. Some common strategies include:
  1. buying and holding altcoins for the long term;
  2. investing in altcoins that have a low market capitalization and are therefore more volatile;
  3. investing in altcoins that are similar to Bitcoin but have different features;
  4. investing in altcoins that are based on new and innovative technologies.
Each of these altcoin trading strategies has its own risks and rewards. For example, buying and holding altcoins for the long term is a relatively safe strategy but it may take a long time to see any profits.
Investing in low market capitalization altcoins is a more risky strategy but can lead to greater profits if done correctly.
Investing in altcoins that are similar to Bitcoin is also a risky strategy but can lead to profits if the altcoin increases in value relative to Bitcoin.
Finally, investing in altcoins that are based on new and innovative technologies is the most risky strategy but can also lead to the greatest profits if the technology is successful.
No matter what altcoin trading strategy you decide to use, it is important to do your own research and to always invest responsibly.
2. What is altcoin trading?
What is altcoin trading?
Altcoin trading is the process of exchanging one cryptocurrency for another. This can be done through a variety of different exchanges, and can be done either through fiat currencies (like US dollars) or through other cryptocurrencies.
There are a few different things to consider when you're trading altcoins. The first is the exchange rate between the two currencies. This will fluctuate over time, and you'll need to pay attention to it in order to make a profit (or avoid losses).
The second thing to consider is the fees associated with the trade. Different exchanges will charge different fees, and you'll need to factor this into your calculations.
Finally, you'll need to be aware of the risks involved. Cryptocurrencies are volatile, and prices can move quickly. This means that you could lose money if you're not careful.
If you're thinking of trading altcoins, then you'll need to do your research and make sure that you understand the risks involved. However, if you're careful and you know what you're doing, then altcoin trading can be a great way to make profits.
3. How to start altcoin trading?
There are a few things to know before you start altcoin trading. The first is to have a clear understanding of what altcoins are. Altcoins are simply alternative cryptocurrencies to Bitcoin. They are often created to improve upon Bitcoin in some way, or to address a specific problem that Bitcoin doesn’t solve.
The second thing to understand is the different types of exchanges that you can trade on. There are two main types of exchanges:
  1. Centralized exchanges – These exchanges work similar to a stock exchange, and they match buyers and sellers to trade. Examples of centralized exchanges include Coinbase and Binance.
  2. Decentralized exchanges – These exchanges allow direct peer-to-peer trading between buyers and sellers. There is no central authority or middleman. Examples of decentralized exchanges include IDEX and Radar Relay.
The third thing to understand is the different types of orders that you can place on an exchange. The most common types of orders are:
  1. Market order – A market order buys or sells at the best available price.
  2. Limit order – A limit order buys or sells at a specific price.
  3. Stop order – A stop order is triggered when the price hits a certain level, and it buys or sells at the best available price.
  4. Trailing stop order – A trailing stop order is like a stop order, but it automatically adjusts the stop price as the price moves in your favor.
Now that you understand the basics, let’s look at how to start altcoin trading.
  1. Choose an exchange – The first step is to choose an exchange that you want to trade on. As mentioned above, there are both centralized and decentralized exchanges. It’s important to do your research and choose an exchange that’s right for you.
  2. Create an account – Once you’ve chosen an exchange, you’ll need to create an account. This is usually a simple process, and you’ll just need to provide your email address and create a password.
  3. Deposit funds – Next, you’ll need to deposit funds
4. What are the benefits of altcoin trading?
What are the benefits of altcoin trading?
If you're looking to trade cryptocurrencies, you may be wondering if there are any benefits to trading altcoins instead of the more popular options like Bitcoin and Ethereum. After all, altcoins are often less expensive and may offer more anonymity than the major coins.
Here are four benefits of altcoin trading that you may want to consider:
  1. Altcoins May Be More Affordable
If you're new to cryptocurrency trading, you may want to consider altcoins as they may be more affordable than Bitcoin and Ethereum. For example, at the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at over $11,000 while Ethereum is trading at over $1,000. In contrast, there are many altcoins that are trading for less than $1.
Of course, you'll need to do your research to find reputable altcoins that are worth investing in. But if you're looking for a more affordable option, altcoins may be the way to go.
  1. Altcoins May Offer More Anonymity
If you're concerned about privacy, you may want to consider altcoins that offer more anonymity than Bitcoin and Ethereum. For example, Monero is a popular altcoin that is known for its privacy-centric features.
When you trade Monero, your transactions are hidden from the blockchain so that no one can see what you're doing. This can be a benefit if you're worried about someone tracking your activity.
  1. Altcoins May Be More volatile
If you're looking for more volatile options, altcoins may be the way to go. While Bitcoin and Ethereum are relatively stable, altcoins can be much more volatile. This can be a benefit if you're looking to make quick profits.
Of course, you'll need to be careful with your trades as the volatility can also work against you. But if you're comfortable with the risks, altcoins can offer the potential for higher rewards.
  1. Altcoins May Have More Potential
Since altcoins are often less established than Bitcoin and Ethereum, they may have more potential for growth. If you're looking to invest in a coin with long
5. What are the risks of altcoin trading?
When it comes to altcoin trading, there are a few risks that you should be aware of. First and foremost, there is the risk of losing money. just like with any other investment, there is always the potential for loss. Even if you do your research and invest in a reliable altcoin, there is still no guarantee that you will make money.
Another risk to consider is the volatility of the altcoin market. Cryptocurrencies are known for their volatile nature, and altcoins are no different. Their prices can fluctuate quite a bit, and this can lead to losses if you are not careful.
Lastly, there is the risk of scams. Since the altcoin market is not as regulated as other markets, there are a lot of scams out there. Be sure to do your research before investing in any altcoin, and only invest in coins that you trust.
6. How to create a successful altcoin trading strategy?
Decentralized exchanges are slowly gaining traction as the go-to platform for trading cryptocurrencies. In a decentralized exchange, there is no central point of control. Instead, the exchange is powered by a network of nodes, each of which contributes to the overall security and functionality of the platform.
One of the main advantages of decentralized exchanges is that they are much more difficult to hack than traditional exchanges. This is because there is no central point of failure that hackers can target.
Another advantage of decentralized exchanges is that they offer more privacy. When you trade on a decentralized exchange, your personal information is not shared with the exchange. This is in contrast to traditional exchanges, which require you to undergo know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) checks before you can start trading.
If you’re looking to trade altcoins, then a decentralized exchange is the way to go. In this article, we’ll take a look at the best decentralized exchanges for altcoin trading.
  1. Binance DEX
Binance DEX is a decentralized exchange that is powered by the Binance Chain blockchain. The exchange is designed to offer fast trading speeds, high liquidity, and enhanced security.
Binance DEX uses a new matching engine that is capable of processing 1 million transactions per second. The exchange also features a user-friendly interface that is designed to appeal to both experienced and novice traders.
  1. KuCoin DEX
KuCoin DEX is a decentralized exchange that is powered by the KuCoin Shares (KCS) token. The exchange offers a variety of features, including a user-friendly interface, high liquidity, and enhanced security.
  1. IDEX
IDEX is a decentralized exchange that is powered by the Ethereum blockchain. The exchange offers a variety of features, including a user-friendly interface, high liquidity, and enhanced security.
  1. EtherDelta
EtherDelta is a decentralized exchange that is powered by the Ethereum blockchain. The exchange offers a variety of features, including a user-friendly interface, high liquidity, and enhanced security.

7. What are the common mistakes in altcoin trading?
There are many common mistakes that newbie altcoin traders make. In this blog post, we will explore 7 of the most common mistakes made when trading altcoins.
  1. Not Doing Your Own Research
One of the most common mistakes made when trading altcoins is not doing your own research. Many new traders simply rely on the advice of others, or follow the crowd without really understanding what they are doing. This is a recipe for disaster, as it is often difficult to predict which way the market will move. It is essential that you do your own research before investing in any altcoin. This includes reading up on the team, the technology, the roadmap, and the community. Only then can you make an informed decision about whether or not to invest.
  1. FOMOing
Another common mistake is FOMOing, or Fear Of Missing Out. This is when you buy an altcoin simply because it is rising in price, without really understanding the technology or the team behind it. This can lead to you buying an altcoin that doesn’t have a solid foundation, and is more likely to crash in price.
  1. Selling Too Early
Many new traders sell their altcoins as soon as they make a small profit. This is often a mistake, as the price of altcoins can continue to rise for some time after you have bought them. It is often better to hold onto your coins for a longer period of time, in order to maximize your profits.
  1. Not Selling Early Enough
On the other hand, some traders hold onto their coins for too long, in the hope that the price will continue to rise. This can be a mistake, as the price of altcoins is often very volatile, and can crash suddenly. If you are not careful, you can end up losing all of your profits.
  1. Not Having a Stop-Loss
Many new traders do not use stop-loss orders, which can be a mistake. A stop-loss is an order that you place to sell your coins if they reach a certain price. This is useful in case the price of the altcoin crashes, as it will
8. How to avoid losing money in altcoin trading?
When it comes to altcoin trading, there are a few key things to keep in mind in order to avoid losing money. First and foremost, always do your own research before investing in any altcoin. There are a lot of scams out there, and it's very easy to get caught up in the hype of a new coin without doing your due diligence.
Another important thing to keep in mind is to always diversify your investments. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, so to speak. Invest in a variety of different altcoins, and don't put too much money into any one of them. This way, if one coin doesn't perform well, you won't lose everything.
Finally, always be mindful of the risks involved in altcoin trading. Cryptocurrencies are a volatile market, and prices can go up and down very quickly. Make sure you have a solid risk management strategy in place before you start trading, and don't let emotions get in the way of your decision making. If you can stick to these three simple rules, you'll be much less likely to lose money in altcoin trading.
9. The most important thing to remember in alt
There are a few key things to remember when trading altcoins that can help you be successful:
  1. Do Your Research
Before investing in any altcoin, it is important to do your research and understand the risks involved. There are many scams in the cryptocurrency world, so it is important to be aware of them. There are also many different types of altcoins, so it is important to understand the differences between them.
  1. Have a Strategy
It is also important to have a strategy when trading altcoins. There are many different ways to approach altcoin trading, and you should find the one that fits your style and preferences.
  1. Be Patient
Cryptocurrencies can be very volatile, so it is important to be patient when trading them. The market can go up or down quickly, so you need to be prepared for both scenarios.
  1. Stay Disciplined
It is also important to stay disciplined when trading altcoins. There will be times when you will be tempted to sell or buy based on emotions, but it is important to stick to your strategy.
  1. Have a Risk Management Plan
It is also important to have a risk management plan when trading altcoins. This includes setting stop-loss orders and taking profits when they reach your target.
  1. Don’t Over-Trade
One of the biggest mistakes you can make when trading altcoins is to over-trade. This means that you are buying and selling too often and not giving yourself enough time to make a profit.
  1. Be Careful With Leverage
Another mistake that traders make is to use too much leverage. Leverage can help you make more money, but it can also lead to big losses if the market goes against you.
  1. Don’t Chase Altcoins
One of the most common mistakes that traders make is chasing altcoins. This means that they invest in an altcoin because it has gone up in price and they want to make a quick profit. However, this is often a recipe for disaster.

2023.03.22 08:13 HarleyPanther Attempting to build Marchesa, the Black Rose - Thoughts?

I've been tinkering around with [[Marchesa, the Black Rose]] over the past few months, and I decided to go full force into building her, as I pulled her from a 2X2 box I'd been sitting on.
I found Marchesa to be a difficult commander to build around (definitely a good challenge) due to her being fairly "open-ended," as in there are many different ways she can be built (+1/+1 counters, aristocrats, theft, etc.). Her EDHREC page was difficult to utilize since it consists of a mishmash of cards that support her many different strategies (Using EDHREC's "By Theme" filter didn't really help either).
Here is the deck I'm working on: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/XnW9w52o8Ea89UE-aXa03w
The deck is currently focused around aristocrats, with a +1/+1 counter subtheme. The deck also contains a few theft cards such as [[Mob Rule]] and [[Mark of Mutiny]].
I believe this deck still needs a ton of work. For now, any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks!

2023.03.22 08:12 Minute_Way_7675 How often, in a single day, do you tell yourself : 'i should have' and 'I have to' ?

My therapist pointed this out that i used these words a lot and should reflect on why im using these compelling, pressuring words for myself. It struck me how im mentally putting myself down everytime i dont do a task and how unrealisitic i was to make a list of 10 things to accomplish in a day. How many of you write in your diaries with the lines starting with ' things i will accomplish today' or 'tasks to do today at all costs' ....

2023.03.22 08:12 lurkingkyrn I have no words …

After seeing their Q&A, I have no words. I used to follow Drue, back before the wedding. When she came up on my FYP, I instantly related to her. My husband and I got married young, we both worked full time jobs (still do), as a nurse and a steelworker, we had (& still have) so much fun together adventuring, raising our daughter, and navigating life. My husband is the best, truly, he treats me like a princess, he is a present husband and father, we are equals to one another, and we have the best life. I say all of this to say, and I hope she realizes, how disgusting and disrespectful Gabe was towards her in what he said in that Q&A. I would be heartbroken and mortified if my husband spoke of me and our intimacy the way Gabe did of Drue & their sex life. Have more respect for your wife than that, Gabe. Seriously, both of you, DO BETTER. It was one of the cringiest videos I have ever watched in my life. I just wish she were smart enough to realize how disrespectful it all was, like she’s a piece of meat. It’s okay to have a healthy sex life, if they even do, but the hand gestures and the commentary was distasteful to say the least.

2023.03.22 08:12 Yoda1269 i enjoy having facial hair

im amab, i came out about 2-3 years ago, and nothing in my life felt more fulfilling then switching from he/him to they/them tho for years i felt like i was forced even by my trans friends to conform to a certain standard of "androgyny" i had a friend who would constantly suggest hair cut options, try to get me into makeup, buy me skirts despite me specifically saying wearing them makes me uncomfortable, and when i would try to voice my insecurities about things i wanted to do that i felt i couldnt without being seen as a man their response was almost always "then don't do that" and through out that time, i did cave, i would shave twice a day, ended up giving myself multiple shaving scars and rashes, i'd wear skirts despite them making me feel extremely exposed, but over the years i got more and more tired of trying to keep up with that, until i gave up, more recently i've fully embraced presenting masculine while maintaining my non binary identity, i enjoy having facial hair, wearing jeans and t-shirts, keeping my hair short, and essentially presenting masc, but what i've found is that now not a single person in my life respects my gender, not even my trans friends or partners, i noticed people stopped correcting themselves when they misgendered me, and now they'll even act annoyed when i correct them myself, i just feel as tho there's no way to present and identify in ways that make me comfortable without them clashing according to the people around me, and it just makes me honestly fantasize about just meeting somebody who doesn't even have to think about my pronouns, someone who can just use they/them without having to correct themselves and it just feels so defeating that it's become a fantasy in my mind more then something i could actually hope to find, at the end of the day i'm not a man and i wish people would respect that

2023.03.22 08:11 No_Knowledge_3488 i wish i was born in another life

i think i’m reaching my limit.
my mother doesn’t love me unconditionally like she loves my father, practically worships the men in her life because she’s so fucking stupid to stand up on her two little feet for once. she’ll end up killing herself for him and i will just have to watch it happen, hating myself for loving her unconditionally despite how much she hates me. hates my body, hates my personality, hates my happiness and hates my depression. hates all of me, in ways that i never thought a parent could hate their child. a men-over-pride kind of woman, the kind that will have nothing to show for except an old wedding band and belly scars. i hate my father. i hate that he’s the pinnacle of man, that he believes himself to be above god’s words and yet he’s reaping what he sowed. i hate my parents for beating me as a child because they didn’t know any better as immigrants, i hate my parents for not being better parents, i hate my parents for the fact that they will choose each other and any of my other siblings over me. i hate that i will never be their first choice and somehow i’m supposed to be fine with it. i hate my life. i don’t perform well academically because of some adhd, but yet i still want to be a teacher. i wanted to publish a book at one point.
yet i’m hopeless. i hate my life. i want to die because i’m unloved by the people who should’ve loved me more than anything in the world and yet they hate me. my father’s perverted and conservative views hate me, hate me for being a daughter instead of a son, hates me because i refuse to bear a child when my own parents couldn’t even love their own. i hate being an american child, seeing the drastic difference between parents and seeing just how much family love is so genuine and yet there is no warm in my home. there is no love. i’m a college drop-out, struggling to find a job, struggling to learn out to drive, struggling to find a way to live and maybe i’m just a spoiled brat. i know my parents feed me, keep my head out of the rain, will keep the house warm when it is cold. but love is not a requirement and they will never show me that. why cant i have one thing?
i wish i was born in a different life. where my mom didn’t insist that starving me was right, where she could think with a mind pure of her husband’s influence and pure devotion to men, where she could love me with eyes that didn’t despise me. i wish i had a dad that loved me, that stayed for me even if he had to work. that didn’t now try and form a relationship now that he’s old and dying, that he could put down his views once and fucking see me. i wish i was a better older sister, who could shield my sister from anything and be the best role model in the world. yet i’m fucking miserable. i’m depressed and i’m clutching this bottle of tylenol, crying through grit teeth because i don’t want to live anymore. i don’t want to live this life. i would rather die than live this life.
i am so exhausted.

2023.03.22 08:11 thespuzz Nvidia unveils Isaac Sim on Omniverse Cloud for better robot design

Nvidia has unveiled its Isaac Sim platform for its Omniverse Cloud, enabling engineers to work together remotely to simulate robots and finish designs more quickly.
Isaac Sim enables global teams to remotely collaborate to build, train, simulate, validate and deploy robots. Nvidia said that its Isaac robotics platform will now be available as Isaac Sim on the Omniverse cloud platform.
“The Isaac Robotics platform is end to end and it really expands our products from cloud to edge,” said Gerard Andrews, product marketing head for robotics at Nvidia, in a press briefing.
Nvidia also said at its Nvidia GTC online event that Microsoft Azure will be used as a host to increase access for managing AI-based robots.

The company also said that a full lineup of Jetson Orin modules is now available, offering a performance leap for edge AI and robotics applications.
“The world’s largest industries make physical things, but they want to build them digitally,” said Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang during the GTC keynote. “Omniverse is a platform for industrial digitalization that bridges digital and physical.”

Isaac Sim on Omniverse Enterprise for Virtual Simulations

Building robots in the real world requires creating datasets from scratch, which is time-consuming and expensive and slows deployments.
That’s why developers are turning to synthetic data generation (SDG), pretrained AI models, transfer learning and robotics simulation to drive down costs and accelerate deployment timelines. The Omniverse Cloud platform-as-a-service, which runs on Nvidia OVX servers, puts advanced capabilities into the hands of Azure developers wherever they are.
It enables enterprises to scale robotics simulation workloads, such as SDG, and provides continuous integration and continuous delivery for teams to work in a shared repository on code changes while working with Isaac Sim.
Isaac Sim is a robotics simulation application and SDG tool that drives photorealistic, physically accurate virtual environments.
Making Isaac Sim accessible in the cloud allows teams to work together more effectively with access to the latest robotics tools and software development kits. Omniverse Cloud gives enterprises more options in the cloud with Azure, in addition to the existing cloud-based methods of using Isaac Sim for self-managed containers, or with using it on virtual workstations or fully managed services such as AWS RoboMaker.
And with access to Omniverse Replicator, an SDG engine in Isaac Sim, engineers can build production-quality synthetic datasets to train robust deep-learning perception models. Nvidia’s Replicator tool is included in the Omniverse to assist with synthetic data generation, which Andrews said is a superpower to help improve model performance for all kinds of robots.
Amazon uses Omniverse to automate, optimize and plan its autonomous warehouses with digital twin simulations before deployment into the real world. With Isaac Sim, Amazon Robotics is also improving the capabilities of Proteus, its latest autonomous mobile robot (AMR).
This helps the online retail giant fulfill thousands of orders in a cost- and time-efficient manner.
Working with automation company Idealworks, BMW Group uses Isaac Sim in Omniverse to generate synthetic data and run scenarios for testing and training AMRs and factory robots. Nvidia is developing across the AI tools spectrum — from computing in the cloud with simulation like Isaac Sim to at the edge with the Jetson platform — accelerating robotics adoption across industries.
When it comes to robots, there’s a computer in the robot itself that acts as the brain of the robot, and that’s based on Nvidia’s Jetson robot hardware platform. Then there is a cloud computer that trains the models and creates the synthetic data. Generating synthetic data can take hours because of the scale of the large data sets required for the models.
“When we say cloud to the edge, we really make a complete platform from the robot brain and the software that runs on that local robot as well as a big brain in the sky,” Andrews said.
Nvidia has moved its Omniverse platform, a metaverse for engineers, into the cloud so anyone can access it from any device, like an iPad. By putting Isaac Sim on the cloud, large numbers of engineers can work together to design a robot and simulate it so that it functions properly.
“If the computer is in the sky that is actually in the cloud that’s doing the simulation, then you can access the simulation results on any compute device,” Andrews said.
In addition to Nvidia’s cloud, Nvidia also has another cloud option with Amazon Web Services.

2023.03.22 08:11 skdimu All my relationships ending in the “you’re too young for me” talk.

I (19F) am very sad tonight. I find myself in these situations very often. I date a man for a couple months , I suggest that we should speak about deciding what direction we’re taking, and he ends up saying “you’re just too young for me, you’re going to grow up and change your mind so I can’t fall in love with you.”
It happens very often. Is this just how it is with age gap relationships? I hate feeling like it’s my fault. I have so much love to give, so much loyalty I want to share with someone, so much growth and closeness I want to enjoy as well. Even the hard times I’ve prepared myself for.
Why do older men date me knowing they will never want something serious with someone my age? I don’t understand. It makes me want to give up.

2023.03.22 08:11 Higher_Minded 40 [M4F] Los Angeles/Anywhere - Lets get married and make babies

Yea, thats what I want. I think that marriage is a decision, and love is a conscious commitment. Looking to make a conscious commitment with someone and start a family. As a logical man with his wits about him, I understand what it takes to have a deep committed relationship and do what it takes to make things work. I want to raise kids in a household that is stable and has great guidance from both parents.
Now while I completely understand traditional gender roles, I am looking for a woman who is looking for that. Which of course begins at respect and ends at loyalty. I think those are the basis of most issues within a relationship. Being conscious enough to communicate and knowing when to lead and when to follow. Leadership of course cannot be given when respect isn't present.
BLah blah, ok what about love? I am a Capricorn and looking for maybe a water sign or maybe air, I dunno, I'm open. I have a lot of saggitarius in my chart. Love languages are touch and acts of service.

2023.03.22 08:11 WhiteCrow747 How growing in a orthodox indian Christian household is

I grow in a orthodox Christian family in south.Everyone in my family, my parents, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmother are very pious, except me. My Grandmother conducts these fking annoying meetings every Friday and around 30 people come. There will be a pastor guy who would conduct these meeting, it goes in an order like they would sing songs, pray then comes this thing... They would be praising 'god', they speak some rubbish with few words of Hebrew in it and call it holy language as if they are speaking with God, I know a few of my relatives who go over the board with this shit and start dancing and jumping. They say it as the epitome of holiness and the holy spirit has entered you The shit these christians do is so annoying to me! I still have to go these meetings, not every friday though, as my grandmother lives like 3 hrs from us(thank god). Whenever I go there it is compulsory for everyone to attend it, irrespective if you want or not. My parents kinda nowadays know I'm atheist and forcing me to follow religion. Since I'm still a student and am financially dependent on them I ought to act for a few more years. Also my parents spend a minimum of 2-3L for this religious bullshit every year (including donations to church, funding missionary idiots who go to this job as they didn't study properly, etc.), I have always said my parents to donate to some orphanage or elderly home but they wouldn't listen. The only reason why they do this is to get some pride and respect in church and get validation from some random ****.
Next coming to the advice I receive, from my grandmother it is always about god and bible, she always asks me to read that piece of sh*t, the bible, it is very illogical and I can't stand it, when I think of God mentioned in bible, he seems to me as biased racist homophobic moron.
I must have made many errors, and i know this is not structured properly, it's just a rant.
Ask me any questions regarding myself or about the things that these christians do.

2023.03.22 08:10 FadingFire234 Autism makes it easier for me to love myself

TW: mentions of depression and eating disorders
For a long time I have struggled with very low self esteem. Everytime people said I said something rude or I'm behaving weirdly or I'm not being respectful and understanding of other people's emotions, I felt like a horrible person. I was trying my best to be nice and empathetic but I couldn't do it. I thought there was genuinely something wrong with me and that I was broken and didn't deserve to live or have nice things because I was a bad person.
I also lied about a lot of things when I was a kid. It was mostly little things but I felt overwhelmingly guilty about it. So I started punishing myself the only way I knew how- restricting my food intake. Everytime I felt that I was not behaving properly or being a good girl, I didn't eat. I lost a lot of weight and had to be hospitalized. I take a lot of vitamin supplements now and everytime I feel that I've been "bad" I don't take my tablets because a bad person doesn't deserve to recover.
Last year I decided that I would start being a little nicer to myself and not self-sabotage like this but I couldn't do it. I thought that I was a bad person who can't even empathise with people and since I was a child I've been taught that my sole purpose as a human was to help others and I can't even say a few nice words to a friend who was crying so I didn't deserve to live.
Now that I know I'm autistic, I have realised that there's nothing wrong with me. I'm not a bad person. I'm just autistic. The "lies" I told were just masking and I wasn't trying to hurt anyone. I was born like this and there's a lot people like me who struggle the same way.
And now suddenly I find it so much easier to be kinder to myself. I can't suddenly stop restricting my food intake but it makes it so much easier to realise that I'm not bad. It's the first step in a long road to recovery but I'm so happy and relieved to know I'm autistic.

2023.03.22 08:10 Best-Storm-7089 How can I disassociate my personal account from a professional sub-account?

I made a professional Instagram page using my personal account for a band that I was in at the time. I’ve since left the band and cut ties with them because of some inappropriate behavior of one of the members. A friend of mine who was affected by his behavior blocked the band page as he has access to it, but when she selected “block this user and all other accounts they have or create in the future” it blocked my personal account too. She ended up changing her selection to just block the one account, but is there a way I can unlink or remove my personal account from being associated with that one so that this doesn’t happen in the future? I would rather not be involved with these guys at all or attached to their business in any way.

2023.03.22 08:10 da_ponch_inda_faysch legacy edition/14~16 hockey stop away from opponent

It seems that whenever you do a hockey stop by pulling your left stick opposite to where you are moving, you will always end up doing a hockey stop while facing the opponents net. It's really problematic when you are trying to face away from your defenders who are between you and their goalie. Is there a way to do a hockey stop while facing away from the opponent/opponents goal? It seems the only way I can face away is if I curl away first before fulling pointing to the opposite direction, but it is much slower than a direct left stick opposite direction pull.
Also is there away to choose which side to spin when switching from forward skating to backwards skating? Even when I pick a side using the right stick, it seems to not follow in that direction. I haven't been able to get a direction change I want with any consistency, I'm wondering if the spin only happen in one direction without me noticing.

2023.03.22 08:09 mafoo123 Axyz router support

Hi, we are looking at setting up the axyz router and I am looking for a gcode or mcode that will perform the task of "function 34".
Function 34 on the hand control is remove all tools.
We have tried T0 M6 but it doesn't register T0.
I do not want to leave it awaiting a tool change to a manual tool before the end of the program, which does remove the tool from the spindle but sits awaiting a prompt for either 'abort' or to continue.
Does anyone have any experience or advice that could help us progress this further.
Thank you in advance
