Hi everyone. I have been lockpicking for a couple of years now, I started as a teenager with a set I bought from eBay, I broke some picks along the way but then broke/bent my main two hooks and needed to buy another set. I went with an AliExpress set that LockNoob featured on his channel (the one with the red handles) and honestly it isn't bad at all, but I switched my main picks to some I bought froml from Sparrows and it's the best one I've had yet.
This is where I need some advice. At this point I need a solid kit that I can get in Europe. I can't really get any recommendations from local lockpicking companies, as they usually just drill the locks and put a new one in. I've used .020 and .025's until now and I'd like to keep it that way. I also need a small carrying case like the Sparrows Tuxedo or the Covert Instruments Genesis with quality picks inside. What would you recommend? Thanks!

There is a cat that I have been feeding for over a year. She was abandoned by someone when they moved. They had her inside and never socialized her. I am her closest friend. A human friend of mine and I got shelters and put them in my friend's yard for last winter and this is where our cat friend stayed. When she got pregnant she went back to where she was abandoned to have her babies. I can't let her continue to have litter after litter but I am afraid of attempting to use a trap and worried about her recovery afterward. I have "trapped" before but never with a trap. I have been together with my bf for over a year and a half now. The start of our reltionship was unconventional just like most relationships that start off a dating/hook up app are. My bf at the time was recently seperated from his wife of almost 5 years for 3 months when I met him and I was still dealing with the truama and heartbreak of my first relationship 8 months prior.

A few months later I had ended up getting really sick and quarantined myself for 2 weeks, and in those 2 weeks we were playing games online together every night, he would message me he missed me, he told me one night during those 2 weeks that i was 'his person'. So obviously from that point the dynamic of our relationship had shifted and things that hadnt bothered me before now started to.
One big thing is that my bf likes to go out every weekend with his friends, he really didnt have friends when him and his ex had moved to the area and once they seperated, he started going out and making friends and then it became his ritual every weekend. I didnt care about that, he deserves to have fun and at that time it wasnt really my scene anyway. Until i saw how much fun he and his friends would have and the cool experiences he would go to. Night art festivals with fire breathing dancers. Nightime pool dj parties. Clubs with cool themes and concepts. Silent discos. I started to get that fear that i was missing out on my life too. I started to want to be involved but when i brought up the idea of inviting me out some nights he got uncomfortable at the idea. He likes when we're together but he also needed a life outside me too so he didnt feel like he was jumping out of one relationship into the other. So i conceded and just went back to what i was doing before but the jealousy slowly built over the course of our time together.

This was my first true attempt at a comprimise but he still has the same reservations he had the first time.
So again i conceded, but this time the anger and jealousy were now constantly there. I would get hurt everytime i saw clothes that he would wear on weekends. I would get upset when i saw his friends. I would get uspet when he would start to get excited that the weekend was getting close knowing i was just an outsider looking in.
Another 4 months had gone from that point and we finally had our first big blowout. Not over the weekends or anything else but over something really small and it wasnt a huge fight either but it was enough for us to realize that i wasnt okay and neither was he. I took a couple of weeks to be by myself and when we came together we had a really big talk over everything. I told him that I wasnt interested in being an addition anymore. If he wanted his seperate friends and places, thats fine, but would it hurt if just some night it could be just us? Going to new places? That way i can get to go out with him like ive been wanting and he wont feel like im trying to insert myself into all aspects of his life. He kind of disagreed again but for different reasons. He said due to my truama with my ex hed feel like we wouldnt have fun going out because id be too busy watching him to make sure hes not checking out other women to have a good time.

I decided to get a 2nd job on the weekends to make some extra money and to help pass the feelings of loneliness. Its helped because my new coworkers are so nice and working nights with them fulfills the social need ive been searching for. My bf started taking a medication too that he'll be on for 6 months and during that time he cant have a drop of alcohol or else it could really mess up his liver so he stopped going out on weekends too but the pain of it all still sits heavy on my mind. I will be applying to IBA AND IOBM for Accounting and Finance degree program. The thing is I have given SAT as well, so have enough score to get exemption, but not enough to get direct admission in either universities.

Hello, I am hoping to find ideas or products to help with IHC processing of extremely small tissue samples while simultaneously not wasting expensive reagents.
Right now my solution is wrapping in biopsy paper and sewing it shut, but this led to some unfolding and loss of the tissue. I have also tried making mesh baskets by cutting off the bottoms of 8-strip tubes and melting nylon mesh there instead, but the baskets also had their own set of problems like trapping bubbles from the detergents (TritonX100) when used in a 96-well plate and did not drain well They also could not have their cap closed or else no draining occurred. Ideally I need to purchase/make a product that is able to be completely contain the tissue throughout all of the washing/incubation steps but be small enough to not waste the antibodies.
The tissue is an intact organ that is approximately 100 microns wide and 500 microns long, it is just barely visible to the eye. I am aware of tissue cassettes, biopsy pads, and biopsy paper that may be able to safely contain these organs, but the ones I see commercially available are extremely large in comparison, even ones labeled 'micro'. I am hoping to find something to contain the organs in that can fit inside either a 96-well plate well or a 1.5ml tube like I do with our larger samples.
Any ideas histology folks? I tried making a clamp like a cross-stitch loop from micro centrifuge tube caps but it was also way too big. I'm open to anything!

To start, I’m glad modern controls exist because as a general rule I think accessibility options are a good thing, but I do think just talking about how they relate to the difficulty of motion inputs is kinda missing the point. Past a beginner level, inputs aren’t particularly difficult, and they’ll of course get more consistent the better you get. The real crux of the issue, and how it affects game balance, is time. A big way that the power of some supespecial moves are balanced is by the time it takes to input them, and making them executable with one button is a significant change. No matter how good and fast you get, one button will always be faster than a motion + a button, and a mere few frames can make all the difference
For example, compare playing against a human Zangief on classic vs a high level CPU Zangief. The reason the CPU Zangief will be consistently command grabbing you through the smallest gap in your pressure is because the human player has to take the time to make the input. Finding the window to do that input safely is an entire additional layer of timing and judgment that is largely removed by making the move doable with one button
Take DPs, as another example. The reason you don’t always get anti-aired perfectly or hit with a reversal through every little gap in your pressure is because it takes time to make that input. Another thing to note is that, during the input of a DP (and many other special moves), you cannot block. That time spent unable to block, short as it may be, is a risk that much of the genre has historically been balanced around, and it’s almost completely removed with one-button inputs
The reason every move you throw out that’s just the slightest bit minus isn’t always punished by a super? Or the reason your opponent doesn’t confirm into super off of every little jab? The time it takes to do the input.
Again, I don’t want this to come across as shitting on modern controls. I’m glad they exist and I’m glad they’re opening up the genre to new fans. However, they do significantly change the way the game is navigated and I understand why people may have valid balancing concerns that have nothing to do with being salty. Tbh the playing experience is so different that I think it would be reasonable to allow players to filter matches based on control type if they want, but that’s another discussion.

I've noticed most creators on the platform aren't putting in any effort to bring their viewers to Nebula or invest in it. Not only do they never mention Nebula on YouTube or Twitter, but they don't even put a link to Nebula in their descriptions on new videos or their about page.
Even worse, many of them even have Patreon exclusive content that is not available on Nebula. For these creators, Nebula often costs more than Patreon, but provides nothing more than YouTube does for free.
I think a lot of creators are treating Nebula as a platform to get paid to advertise their channel. The idea is because it's an exclusive platform, there isn't much competition, so it's much easier to secure new paying viewers than relying on the YouTube algorithm. So they bring nothing to the table in terms of new subscribers, but compete for a limited pool of revenue sharing.
The whole business model seems unsustainable to me. Nebula is spending huge sums of money($500k+ per month) to selectively recruit and sponsor new creators to promote the platform, that just neglect it and treat it as a dumping ground for videos the moment the sponsor money dries up, and then the subscribers nebula paid them to acquire just churn.
This strategy worked great when CuriosityStream was paying the bill, but when Nebula is, it's incredibly inefficient.
It just doesn't make sense to me considering there are creators that want to join Nebula and make it a priority, without the need for sponsorship to convince them, but instead the company is dumping money into new creators that neglect the platform.
And I worry for sustainability. Ever since CuriosityStream stopped their cross promotion from Nebula, subscriber growth has slowed down significantly despite lots of large new creators joining the platform and significant marketing expense.
Nebula has reported a net loss every year and is only kept afloat by CuriosityStream's massive semiannual equity investments, and these losses widened this year when they had to start covering their own marketing. Eventually CuriosityStream will stop investing new money.
I would argue the following:

1. CuriosityStream's upcoming price hike from $20 to $40 will lead to significant churn due to the majority of Nebula subscribers being on this bundle.
   
2. The profit sharing structure needs to incentivize Nebula first and exclusives more, to reward creators for investing in the platform.
   
3. The platform needs to stop relying on referrals and expensive sponsorships to grow & instead focus on creators that actually want to make the platform their premium platform. Right now there are very talented creators that want to join Nebula without needing a sponsorship, but can't.
   
4. The money spent on expensive sponsorships could instead be spent on originals to reduce churn and provide value to the platform.
   

I watched the season finale of Dave and I am extremely disappointed in the direction of the show and this episode in particular.

• Why have ANOTHER episode where Dave spends a huge amount of time with a fan, where he doesn't appreciate them on his own level? There was just a show with this theme a few episodes ago.
  
• Do we really need to see someone urinate on the floor in a graphic manner?
  
• The hostage situation was very unrealistic and really was never resolved in a way that moved the show forward. The crazy fan all of a sudden had a gun? Then she found a crossbow where she shot Brad Pitt in the chest, but he has no real threat to his life after being hit in the chest with a crossbow arrow at close range?
  
• Why bring in Brad Pitt, when you are not going to do anything with him other than have a very contrived and fake feeling hostage scene with him.
  
• Where is the rest of the cast? It feels like they all have done cameos only since about episode 6.
  

Season 1 was legitimately hilarious, and I thought so again on a rewatch, but as I saw someone else mention in another sub, watching Dave is now more of a chore than something enjoyable.

Hello fellow kindred mains ! I'm kinda new to kindred (Mastery 5 only) and i really love the design of her kit , her lore and her design but she's really frustrating to play for me the reason being :
1: I feel like most of champs in the jungle have dashes which make it hard for me to kite them and i feel like i get obliterated once they're in range, i'm not even talking about shaco and khazix
2: Well , my kiting is horrible : It's so hard for me to move while shooting arrows and i almost always dash in the wrong direction after hitting the enemy
3: The marks : I'm never on the good scuttle early, always in the opposite side of the map when they spawn and even in low elo peoples love to contest my marks even the supports are clearing them

• 20.74% Vanguard FTSE Developed All Cap ex North America Index ETF (VIU)
• 7.92% Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets All Cap Index ETF (VEE)

I've made several tweaks to it:

• Replaced VUN with VFV.TO to focus on the S&P500
• Diversified into US REIT with SCHH holding a very small amount (this has performed poorly over last few years)
• Bought small holdings in all-in-one ETFs such as XAW.TO and VEQT (which is essentially the 'light' model portfolio above) to test how well it performs

Note that I've bought this on the Canadian exchange with Canadian dollars. These are my questions:

• Are there any gaps or risks in my portfolio? For example, am I holding too much VCN if I'm already investing with the Canadian dollar i.e. home bias? Should I be reducing this currency risk?
• Should I consider VUN instead of VFV.TO to capture small and mid-cap US firms? I didn't think they were important so I just invested in the top S&P500
• Is my portfolio strategy outdated? Should I simplify further and hold one ETF e.g., VEQT? I recall fees are marginally more expensive this way, but it would simplify investing

Hey there adhd crew, I'm practicing vulnerability and hoping to help make some of your days just a lil easier by sharing some of the things I've learned.
Hygiene - Have a toothbrush, tooth paste, q-tips, cotton swabs, contacts, a hair brush, deodorant, all the basics in every bathroom in your house. You're more likely do do it if it's easy and handy so don't let your partner taking 2 mins too long throw off your whole morning routine.
Skin care - Have your nighttime routine in order of operations. For me it's glasses (to remind me to take out my contacts), makeup remover, soap, toner, moisturizer. The fact that it's in order means I can just go down the line without thinking about it nearly as much.
Alexa - I know we're worried about security/privacy/etc but shouting into the universe that I need more [insert random thing here] and having it show up before I forget to actually go buy it means that I can keep functioning and my routines aren't disrupted by a lack of an item.
Relationships - If your partner is being an asshole, they're just an asshole. It's not your ADHD. Patient, understanding, partners who love you for who you are, the WHOLE YOU, are out there. You deserve a healthy relationship.
Self confidence - You have a super power and a curse just like every super hero, you're going to have days when you love your magic powers and some where they frustrate you/make you cry. The ocean has calm days, stormy days, blue water, clear water, etc. You're aligned with nature than you might think. You can see the forest and the trees when most can only see one. You're dynamic, you're ever changing, you're fabulous just how you are!

I think custom lobbies (rooms) would be PERFECT if they gave us the option to have voice chat. I seen the room comments that they have for the mode and it says stuff like "learning x character" "teach me x character" .... so we have those room statuses ... but you want someone to teach you "x" character in a custom lobby, non-verbally? Should they teabag to say yes, or spam the move they want the teach you from a custom? Just give people who want voice, the option to have voice.
I know most of reddit may not want to talk to strangers on the internet, and they say things like "no, dont add voice chat ... i dont want to hear your parents and babies crying in the background." ... i get that .... keep voice chat in general off for the game ... its whatever
but CUSTOM LOBBIES should atleast have the option for voice ... and the custom lobby can even have a big ass unavoidable mic icon so people who don't want to hear strangers or talk to strangers can avoid that lobbies.... hell.... even give them a prompt when joining to further protect them saying "Are you sure you want to join this custom room. Voice chat is currently enabled". This way, they can't even accidentally join a voice enabled lobby.
What y'all think ...once again .... this is NOT for the general game, like battle hub, casual, ranked, etc. This is for CUSTOM LOBBIES that you would VOLUNTARILY have to join.
