Help with selecting a suitable foldable electric bike for work transportation
2022.10.09 06:51 mtgcomplaints Help with selecting a suitable foldable electric bike for work transportation
Greetings everyone. I am looking for a new foldable electric bike to get to and from work, which is about 5 miles from my apartment. I am looking to spend at most $1200 for a model that can handle weights of up to 200 pounds and can handle urban and suburban settings, and after some quick Googling, found 3 choices that might be suitable. I have listed their choices below, as well as the prices that I can get for each of them.
Lectric XP 2.0, $949
Murtisol 3-speed, $575
Qualisports Voladar $1199
Which bike do you think is the best out of the three choices, and what would be the best choice to lock each of these bikes so that they do not get stolen? I appreciate any answers that can help my decision making.

2022.07.27 13:52 Daly215 I have a question about a digital ebike display can somebody please answer?
So I have a murtisol ebike, and it does not have a digital display on it, I took it to the bike store about a month ago and acquired about it but didn't really care too much bc that's not what I was there for at the time, anyway the person at the store told me that I would need a murtisol display from the company bc that's what seems attach to the corresponding wire, but murtisol stopped making ebikes so it's almost impossible to find that particular display, how would I go about getting a different display put on my e-bike preferably digital in this situation.

2022.03.21 18:35 Daly215 Really need help with a Murtisol Ebike
Hey guys so a few months ago I purchased a Murtisol New sport, I haven't had any real problems with it yet except for some wear and tear, the biggest issue that I'm writing about right now that I need help with, it's because recently I took my bike to the store for a simple repair to my display, it started cracking where the screw gets placed to keep the display on The e-bike handlebar, anyway I took this to a shop so I could purchase a new display and they said to me that I have to order a display from the company "Murtisol" because the displays that they had in the store did not fit on my e-bike, after searching the web when I tell you there is nowhere to order parts for my Murtisol Ebike, literally the only thing I have found is Murtisol treadmils, so I guess my question is what can I do about this, and is it possible that maybe the store just didn't have the right size for the display? Because if I can only order these parts from murtisol once they break on my bike then I'm just screwed I guess? Can somebody please help me with this issue I don't know what to do and I depend on my bike to work I'm a delivery driver.

2020.09.30 20:39 PinaColluder Folding bikes without chainstays
I was looking at getting my first folding bike. Looking at the murtisol folding bike which looks cheap and cheerful. But noticed it doesn't have chainstays. I see there are a few other folding bikes without chainstays and was wondering how that effects the ride. Does anyone here have a folding bike without chainstays and do you find the BB tries to pendulum? if that makes sense.

2019.04.19 21:33 Actkeen Need help finding a replacement throttle
I recently found out that taking my bike through the rain will kill my throttle (but not the button that turns the ebike on apparently). Luckily I still have my pedal assist so I can still rid it in the meantime.
I looked for a replacement that has the right connection but I can't find one.
Here is what the connection looks like, the top connector is from the esc, the bottom from the throttle.
I'd prefer to just get a throttle with this connector, but I know it might be easier to just modify a different throttle. If that's the case then I might as well upgrade to a better throttle. I've seen a lot of throttles with only 5 wires, how do I know which wires do what for my esc? I don't have the manual anymore but
here is the conversion kit I have.
I've included some throttles that I might want, I'm wondering if they would work after changing the connector.
- Voltage reader twist throttle
- Voltage reader with thumb throttle
- Fall back plan (This is the one I currently have)

2018.10.27 20:21 IIIStarkIII SW 900 Issues
Hello all,
I recently revamped my ebike from a front motor to rear, and got a new controller for it as well. The new controller came with the SW 900 LCD. I had no issues with my first kit, but this new one is doing some really weird things. If I start it up, the motor will immediately go full power in reverse. If I push the throttle to full and back, the motor will spin down, then start going in the opposite direction. I'm very confused as to why it's even possible for the motor to be allowed to go in reverse. The LCD also displays and error code 07, which is a motor code. This is a brand new motor, any idea what could be going wrong?
Any help is appreciated!

Edit: It makes no difference if the hall sensors are attached or not, so I'm guessing it might be a bad motor?
