Hello everyone, I am planning a 24days trip with my wife in September and I spent some time working on what to do and see in Kyoto to Plan our 4 full days there and I wanted some review and advice if possible :
Note that the order of days is not settled

Day 1 : Inari Taisha and Kyoto Station Area
Wake up early to go to the Inari JR station, Spend the morning in the Fushimi Inari Taisha before the tourist crowd arrive, then after taking a breakfast at the top, slowly walk to Tofu-Ji, visit the place, and walk to the Higashi Hongan-Ji Temple. I don't really know how much time is needed for those 2 temples. After that we wanted to do the Kyoto Tower, and visit the Kyoto Station. Come back to the hotel near Gion then pass the night out there and find a restaurant

Day 2 : West Kyoto
Leave early for Arashiyama Station, to take the love train to Kaeoka at 9Am, get back by boat on the Hoguzawa river boat at 11AM. Visit the Monkey Park at arashiyama when back in the city, head to the Tenryu-Ji temple and Bamboo groove near it to finish the afternoon. Probably finish the day near Nishiki market to eat there.

Day 3 : EAST Kyoto
Be at Kiyomizu-Dera at the opening time to avoid the crowd once again (6AM I think), visit the place then, walk to Kodai-Ji, then Maruyama Park. After that we tend to classic touristic path to Nanzen-Ji and Eikan-Do before doing the philosopher path to Ginkaku temple. This day my contain a lot of walking so we Put in option a tour to go to the DaimonJiyama mount if we still have stamina.

Day 4 : North and new Center
Begin the day at Kinjaku-ji, then go to Ryoan-Ji next to it. Do a tea Ceremony near this place (Camélia Garden have nice reviews). Get back to the center by transport to Nino Castle in the afternoon. And Maybe to finish the day head to ShinPuhKan and Rokkaku-Do temple with is not far one from another.

I tried to choose which place suit more our taste, with no museum and exhibition. There is a lot of temple to see I hope to not have missed a lot for important ones (even if this is near impossible.)
I don't mention Nara and Kobe here which are obvious one days trip from Kyoto must see, but we already are visiting both from Osaka before heading to Kyoto
We also walk a lot and like big days filled with a lot of stuff to do and see so please be free to leave any suggestions :D (And sorry for the bad english)

My partner and I have seen a wedding venue that we really like. It is a country house with a private estate near the Lake District and is about 45 minutes away from where we, and most of our guests, live. The cost to hire the venue for a wedding on a Saturday includes the use of the entire house for 2 days, including a two-night stay in the house before/the night of the wedding. The house has 9 double bedrooms each with an en-suite, so 8 would be available for our guests to use for two nights.
We are planning to give our bridesmaids and best man a room each to have with their partners for both nights but then there will be about 5 rooms left over. Our immediate family will already have accomodation on site as there are also several cottages and a barn which would be perfect for them.
So we are thinking of having the rest of our close friends stay in the house to use up the rooms. However, I am unsure whether to charge them for this as the venue is slightly over our budget and I know they would be paying for hotels in the area anyway?
The plan was to just offer the rooms to our friends, but make it optional. We would just say that there's some rooms in the main house that are available to stay in on the night of the wedding if any of them want one. I would just price them at what I think a hotel of that standard in the area would cost (probably around £150 per room). Then it would be up to them if they want to stay. They would then have to transfer me the money as we will have already paid for the venue in full.
Is this really cheeky of us or do you think it's fair to expect guests to pay for the own accomodation on the night of the wedding, especially as they arent in the wedding party or family, but are our wider friendship group? Thanks!

Hello, I'm trying to make Narset Voltron themed deck and I would appreciate opinions on it. Some assumptions: No additional turns ( I don't want to make my opponents bored while I'm playing myself 4-5 extra turns) I don't mind few extra combat phases as I need to be able to finish my opponents quite fast. I wanted to add some copying Narset flavour so I end up with 2-3 buffed Narset's finishing the game from time to time. Really like mechanics for searching for situational spells - Sunforger , Open the Armory , Sovereigns of Lost Alara , Enlightened Tutor , Mystical Tutor etc. It would be cool if there's some budget upgrades to lower the cost of the deck.

I apologize in advance that this might be a long and confusing post....
My ex and I were together for about 6 months... she is 29, widowed with 3 kids, I am 30, no kids.
We met online on a dating app and talked for about a year, within that year we learnt about eachothers childhood and adult traumas, and our hopes and dreams for the future. She learned about the childhood abuse I experienced being raised by parents from a war torn country. She learned about my abandonment issues that I carry to this day. I learned about her experiences growing up in a broken family and how she ended up in an abusive marriage for years.
Over time we both felt like we were "good for eachother" and would be able to help eachother heal.... we spent a few months talking about dating eachother before we ever even held hands or kissed. Because of our separate pasts we thought it would be best to take things slow. So eventually we both agreed it seems like it's a good time to date.
So we started dating, and constantly she reassured me that this is what she wants and that she is happy with everything. I remember feeling a feeling of this is all too good to be true, feeling a feeling of she's either telling me everything I need to hear or I really did get lucky and found a good match, feeling a feeling of this is all a dream.
Eventually, I met her kids, and they were instantly comfortable with me. It wasn't that long before they were calling me dad. And pretty much after they called me dad for the first time, I felt responsible for filling that role for them. Her 2 younger kids may be too young to understand the gravity of it all but her oldest is old enough to understand. I did not know, nor did I intend to be hit with such an intense sense of honour, responsibility and fulfillment from her and her kids. The last thing I said to her kids that night was "be good for mom, we'll go out and have another fun day like this, next weekend". If I knew she was gonna break up with me, I would have never lied to her kids...
That same night when I got home, she dumps me online... on Instagram (we agreed before we started dating, that if we ever had to break up, then we'd do it in person) she told me "you fell in love with the idea of me" which at the time upset me, it implied that I don't really know her, unfortunately I did not see at the time, the truth in that statement. she's right, I fell in love with the idea of her, I fell in love with the version of her she presented to me.
For months I begged, pleded, lowered myself and shifted my boundaries.... for what? I understand that people can make mistakes in life, but I wish we never met, never dated at all. I wish I was strong enough to see the flags for what they were when they were presented to me... and I know no ones perfect, and the same could be said about me, I wish she was strong enough to see my flags when they were presented to her.
I fully realized we are just 2 people who need healing and not 2 people who need eachother, when she admitted to me "I never wanted you to be their father figure to begin with"

I'm 20, still in college. My dad died last year, September. He was our legal guardian as our mom is abroad for work. I have an older sister (25) and little brother (12). Immediately when my dad died, my tita and her two daughters moved in to our house, to my room. So thag prompted me to share a room with my brother. My sister only has a single bed.
They had to move in to take care of my brother as me and my sister could not take care of our brother full time kasi may work siya and I have my studies.
She also gets paid twice a month by my mom as she does take care of the house as well. And sa bahay na rin sila kumakain. That I do not mind at all. Those are basic needs and everyone deserves to have constant supply of those.
I grew up with the thinking of always considering other people's feelings and putting their needs before mine. I was raised to have the thinking that I cannot be selfish with the things I have - as I am fortunate. I go to a good university and I have a scholarship and an allowance.
Lately, I just feel like I do not have my own space and my own things. I feel like I can't have a quiet place to study and just to be alone. My room is occupied with my tita's and her daughters' stuff and I can't complain because my mom really welcomed them and told them they could be in our house for whenever they like. My cabinets and dresser is filled with their things.
Another thing is that sometimes they feel entitled to the things we have. My tito, (the said tita's brother), took my dad's guitar without even letting us know na hihiramin niya. This was like 3 months ago. Yung motor ng dad ko, basically pinamigay na rin sa tita ko kasi nasira raw yung motor ng asawa niya. Nagpadala ng package yung mom ko, and iniisip pa rin ng mom ko sila and minsan i know na that they're joking but they're demanding stuff na kesyo wala man lang daw chocolate or like the things they want.
I know it sounds so fucking seflish but I also feel like it's not??
They do have a home, they go home on Fridays and come back on Sundays.
I feel like screaming sometimes because I feel like I earned to have my own room, my own space. I feel like screaming because despite of my achievements, I am overlooked for the things I do right and constantly criticized for the things I do wrong. Ewan ko na. I just feel like running away and never coming back. But I can't.

He always wants me to do hard, continous and organized, precise work and I feel like I'm not capable of that shit. (not talking about housework and the basic stuff) He forces me to be somebody that I'm not, cause he thinks his is the only way. I also feel like he never appreciates me enough. He is the type of person that will ask you why didnt you dry the dishes after you washed them for him as a favour. But if it's the other way around and I don't kiss his toenail for the smallest work, he throws a mini-tantrum. Also everytime he gets home he looks for something that he can verbally abuse me for. A glass I left on the kitchentable, a pack of bread I left open, the smallest shit.
It has gotten to a point where I'm avoiding him as much as possible. I'm going to places with friends and I try to arrive home as late as possible. Obviously he doesnt really like this. I also know that this is not a healthy father-son relationship at all, so I'm just looking for advice from people like me how to handle people like him.

Hey there! I am a 20 years old guy from Romania, Europe. Lately I felt lonely and I decided to try my shot here trying to find someone truly special to share my days with. Currently I am working a full time job and I live alone in my appartment. I am looking for someone to starts things slowly, not rushing it. - Movies and series. I don't watch them that much, but if it's a good movie or serie I would not turn it down. The best movie I watched is Shawnshank Redemption and serie I watched was Peaky Blinders which I still didn't finish it. I am open for any movie night if you have good suggestions.
- Youtube. I like to watch gameplays and travelling videos mostly. I like travel videos because one day I would like to travel too around the World if I have the opportunity.

Hello guys! I plan to build a PC in the near future from the red team. Basically I want to buy the rx 7900 xt and pair with a ryzen 5 5600x. I would mainly play on this PC with the new single player titles, like Hogwarts legacy, Plague tale requiem, Elden ring, Sniper Elite 5. Occasionally some League.

There are a few things I'm not really sure about:
-Does my PSU is a good choice?
-Did I pick the right motherboard, or look for something else in this price range? Like the Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite V2 or the Asrock B550M Steel legend.
Could you recommend me a good case, which is not super expensive?
Do you have any suggestions to improve this build while keeping it at a comparable price?
Is there any incompatibility?

I feel so guilty for crying whenever my bf leaves. We have been in a LDR for nearly 2 years, we see each other once a month for 1-2 days.
Every time he is leaving either the day before or night before, I will end up crying (ugly tears) saying how I’ll miss him, long distance sucks when I’m with him etc etc
He has been so overwhelmingly supportive and understanding throughout this and in between visits but gets upset thinking that when I cry, I’m upset at him, when really, I’m just upsets at the situation NOT him.
He always asks what he can do to make it easier etc. there really is no solution except for him to move up back to my town next year for 1-2 years but if all depends on his work so nothing is definite.
Please share some encouraging words or experiences that will help me get through and anything that you’ve used to stop me from feeling so upset?

Have a 12 week beagle/golden retriever puppy. Now on our 3rd week at home. She has been pretty good re toileting, mostly accidents only when I don’t get the door open on time. She sleeps 5 hours per night in her crate, so going well enough there. But She won’t tolerate any alone time. Barks constantly even when she can see me through the window/gate.
I am miserable, I’ve always wanted a Dog and thought I was ready, been reading for months. I have no issue with the routine, but none of it gives me any joy. I’ve had loads of help from my family but also feel guilt at how much I’ve asked of them. Beyond dreading the return to work next week. I honestly think she’s the worst thing that I’ve ever gotten in to and starting to seriously resent her, hate how awful a person that makes me. I honestly thought I was ready. Seriously considering rehoming but feel guilty about it/ being a failure. 😢 Just need a vent

I worked for this family for nearly a year as an aupair. They have a nanny who was morally harassing me during my free time. Whenever I wasn't working and she was, she found a way to shout or accuse me of something I didn't do. As I was a live-in, had nowhere else to go. The family never helped me deal with this unhappy person, and still made me share a house with her on their uncountable trips. She used to left all her mess and filth for me to clean up. She used drugs and during her psychotic episodes, she took it out on me repeatedly.
I requested a rematch on a Friday, and they kicked me out of the house and never paid me for the week I worked. They also never reimbursed me for the car they made me rent in my name, for a trip that I had to cancel because they wanted me to work for them before the agreed period, and for food, which I had to pay for myself because the person in charge (the nanny) never bought food for me. I have proof of everything.
The aupair agency that was supposed to be responsible for me has a local coordinator who did not help me find housing, threatened to call the police on me, and when I was leaving the house, she blocked the street with her car and filmed me without my consent, accusing me of theft, and wanted to see what I was taking from their house, which was just my belongings.
What can I legally do?

looking to purchase a car within the near future, honestly had my heart set out on the infiniti q50 awd since it was within my budget of around 28k or less and it has the performance i need, but then i came across a 330i x drive and now i’m at a cross roads. I’m gonna go test drive both of them soon but i wanted to know what would be more reliable since i would have these cars for about 3-5 years and which car would have better tuning capabilities if i would be looking to add more HP. Leaning more towards the 330i but i wanted to know if it would do me justice for that time period, i can find one for around <28k with under 30k miles in my area for both cars. thanks for your input.

I was using my TV last night to play Diablo 2: Resurrected, and all was fine. But this morning, I tried to use my PS5 but it says there is no signal. I made sure that the console was plugged in and the HDMI Cable was connected to the TV. No luck. I tried opening another app on my TV (SmartCast), and it has said it is loading... but I have been sitting here for at least 20min without anything changing on the screen. Can anyone help me please?

Hey guys, I'm a freshman engineering student at UC Berkeley and I'm interested in going into more management positions within engineering firms and companies post-graduation. To go more into detail, while in university I plan to join engineering clubs and take on engineering internships, as I am an engineering physics major, but I want to pursue engineering management or product management as a career.
My question may sound money minded but, what fields within engineering, apart from software engineering, pay the most for people in managerial roles within companies in these specified fields? As a physics major I'm open to entering different fields, and a main contributor to what I enter, I have to admit, would be money, so I'm curious to know which fields compensate the most for my desired position, so I can take upper division classes at university in these fields if I happen to have a genuine interest in it. Experienced managers, please give me some insight if you can! Bless!
