Hey all, finally got the option to make submissions recently and there's still a lot of interesting historical spots in my small town that aren't wayspots so I was going to try and submit those.
I have a small book that lists a lot of those historical places, with dates and interesting information etc. but I only have this in physical form and there are no online sources, it's just a small town after all. I'm wondering what the best way is to make those submissions with all the info available to me but not the reviewers. I can't put links to the info into my submission as it's a physical book. The amount of text I can put in the additional info field is also a bit limiting.
The places are obviously legit, so are the photos I'll take and the info I'll share but I don't know how to make sure it seems legit to reviewers. What's the best way to do this?

Avem had them placed all throughout that Rebuilt Old Character House, and within that Glorified Mansion, there were Smoked Pipes, In and On Cupboards, Resting Upon Windowsills (with the Drapes Pulled or Left Open), upon Countertops, Hidden Inside of Bookshelves (if not Resting Upon them), of course on the Mantle, Hidden In and Around Corners.. at Every End, Above and Slightly Adjacent to Entrances, and even some, which were included upon the Tabletops...
All of these Smoking Pipes, some with Ashen Remainders in them, some only Constructed Models of, what we imagine, would have been kept for their Interest Sake, were watched by a Careful Set-Up, of Video Surveillance.
The Surveillance, Signaled Hanging Display Monitors, all throughout the House, and also at Avem's Lab in Tokyo. Some of these Monitors, were Hanging from the Ceiling, at the Walls, Facing Down and Into the Rooms. Others, in the Bedrooms, were Level with Sitting Chairs, where one might want to Sit Down and Look At Them.
They were Set Up, Primarily, To Catch Every Angle and Motion of Light or Shadow Upon or Within the Pipes. This Recording of Smoked Rememberances, took place Every Night and Day, from the Rising to the Setting of the Sun, all Throughout the Years. What were the Ashes for?

What's doing this to you? shrieked Ren. June had actually been, in all fact, sobbing and in dread. Her body, becoming purple, as it was, "cast," with some thick layer of unknown chrysoform, which continued to cover her in variegating patches, no matter how much she scratched or peeled. It seemed to keep leaking out from her pores in beads, which coalesced over her skin, recombined, and matted. Heaving, she threw a chunk at the Vending Machine.
She was sitting in Emergency, having just made it through Triage. These are for you, said the Faithful and Believing, Catholic Lady Friend of Wells, who passed her some Pamphlets from the Lecture.
The Professor had stopped everything, to see to it that this kind Lady, would bring Juniper to ER, post-haste. June had brought Ren along as a Study Buddy, for Note-Taking, with a Bribe.
Initially, June went out to the Mountains, to collect Perry's belongings from the Rented Cabin. Upon arriving back in town, both she and Ren decided to Drive out to the College for a Lecture, and to Sight-See, while asking people around the Area if they had Seen or Heard from Perry. Could he be haunting her somewhere? Was there any hope?
Although... the Professor HAD, abruptly interrupted his Lecture to find one of his CPR-trained staff to escort Juniper to the nearby Hospital E.R., in the event that she might not make it there herself, and was, "Truly," facing a Medical Crisis.
The Vending Machine, went lame, and the lights in ER flickered for a moment. I'm getting creeped, said Ren. That's all!
June's problem stemmed back, from when she ate the Oatmeal, which Perry had left behind at the Cabin, while she was inside it, looking at a Newspaper and Doodling.
Some of Avem's Team, had been in the Trails previously, and Driven a Snowmobile through them, tracing Chemicals through the Snow. A or Spoken Split. It had been at just one of her Lab's Testing Zones.
Avem had caught onto Perry, first, when her Voice Exploded from a Crackling Ice Wyrm/ “i”’Sāqa-Šaqqa, in the Cabin's Fireplace.
Avem had been Writing her Vocals into the Chemical Strains of the Ice-Wyrm Constituency Potion, which she concocted in her Lab, and Spread Rumours about, then Codifying it with Automatic Cyber-Sentience Response-Forms, which took initiatives, based on Environmental Factors, and in turn, fed back Information. This Data, was made readable by her Reverse Tonic, which Tabulated it, by Codices, which had Variables in her own Mental Inter-Framing. Cog-Notes, if you will, to her own Cognition. All of, these, Variables, which entered her Consideration, let her Pry, both on Known, and Unknown, Territories. She frequently Drank her Cyber-Tonic from a Vial in her Lab, while going over Her Work.
Perry Wheeled, and Stumbled around the Room, trying to avoid the Icicle Firecrackers, which were Sounding Off whenever he Slid and/or Stepped upon them. He'd apparently been Mega-Dosed, and was now about to Learn what in the World of a Mega-Dosed, Felt Like when Under and In It.
The Wyrms were Sounding Off, in an Acoustics Array, and Perry, Bounded and Rebounded Turning Listless as the Chrysalids Exited him, and Becoming Reinterred into Motion Again, by their Sounds. He was now, well... Not Feeling Like a Perry. That and he was Done, Done, and, "Roared," out. He could No Longer even Find his Own Vocal to Bless How He Felt. Avem came back in, when the Turnabout was Over. She had Observed Perry by a Camera Hidden in the Room, which was Hooked up to her Monitors for Surveillance, as well. Turning on a Ventilation Fan, from outside, which led the Room's Air into a Separate Chamber, she had Two People, Dressed in Dark Robes, walk in, and move Perry back to his Chair, now Limp. They Swept Up, the Remaining Crystalline Deciduates, and Drains Opened, which Took the Little Bit of Liquidine Debris, Out of the Room. Perry, was now Toned.
Swarma, Placed her Hand on his Forehead, at First to Take his Temperature, and then, Mentally Calibrating his Vocal Remembrance within Herself, Uttered a Word to him, While he sat Slumped over the Chair, Catatonic. The Word.
And Therein, may be a Key... His Subconscious Mind, would most certainly Remember. She Had Uttered It, in His Very Own Vocal Tone. Why? It Rendered him Cognizant and Triggered His Mentality, as though His Own... Though, Truly?... Her Own.
Perry was allowed, with the other Time Wraiths as escort, to slowly move around the Manor and familiarize himself with it. He was being taught by them, how to remain very still for long periods of time. Many of the Time Wraiths, were flown out to the Lab down in Tokyo, to use the computers on their Night-Watch Network. The Lab there, housed her prized Hua Niu ("Black Diamond") Apple, Bonsai, kept under specialized lighting, plus numerous other artefacts. It was set up like somewhat of a Museum, with one dimly lit, humming room for computer observancy, which apart from Monitor glare, left much to the realm of the keen observer.
The 34, often formed a Large Pentagram, with two people at each of the five elemental points, two people between each elemental point encompassing, two people between each elemental point intersecting, two people in the very centre, and two people encircling round about. Underneath them, was stone masonwork in black basalt, and a large star outline, traced with gold inlay.
A chandelier hung above them, and the room had an overview of the gated entrance, where birds were often seen in trees, and light could pour in, but at night, the glass of these windows turned sheet-black to buffet them in, high enough up that none might peep.

To sum up my last post, I had an older coworker with whom I was interested in a fling. He seemed to be dropping little signals.
I’ll cut to the chase and say those of you said he’s interested, were very correct.
In my last post I noted that I went far out of my way to say goodbye to him at his desk before the weekend, as I wanted to try and leave him with a reason to think of me when I wasn’t there.

Before I say anything, I'm very very much enjoying the game, and I'm sure folks have probably already brought these up a dozen... or hundred times, I'm not sure. But There are just some QoL changes for the game that I think could make this the best version of itself, and they could possibly add these in patches or expansions. To be clear, I'm not saying these are easy to add, just things I hope they look into someday! Some of these are more complicated than others!

1. A way to save builds, including the Paragon boards that go with it. I'm not even deep into the Paragon system yet (Only have 1 Additional Board so far) but I can already see that it would be a PITA to undo it all every time I wanted to change my build completely. I would love to be able to save a layout, and just pay the total cost to swap it at the press of a button, however I would say it should be limited to in town only (Maybe at the Wardrobe like D3), and using it would close your town portal so you can't swap out quickly just for a boss fight or something.
2. The inability to mark items as Junk while I'm in my stash is frustrating! I keep trying to but end up evading instead. I would very much like to do that as that's where I'm organizing my items
3. A loot filter would be nice. I like Last Epoch's version where I can change the color of the test of loot when it drops based on conditional statements so if I'm looking for items for a different build I can know at a quick glance if that item will fit a build I'm going for.
4. This is a weirder one... I want to disable the mini-map. It's personal, but I don't like Mini-maps in games, I find myself looking only at it and not the game itself and it's frustrating.
5. More mounts that aren't horses. Horses are boring to me. We could get some Wolves or bears or something. Heck I'm a druid, let me run around as a Werebear (would act the same as a mount for this purpose).
6. Let me choose which town I want to set as my "home" so I port to that instead of the closest one when I hit T. I only say this cause The layout of some towns are far better than others for shopping and services. And one of them, is atrocious!
7. Gems take up WAY too much space, to the point where I don't even like picking them up. Either shrink them down (same with rings and amulets) or have a gem bag, or something. Also, when going to my stash, let me auto stack all similar items like Gems with a button.

Hello, I am using my daughter's account but I am a male.
I recently had my colon removed and now have an iliostomy that requires frequent bathroom trips. My job is mostly done from home and requires the occasional drive across town. Unfortunately, these trips across town tend to place me in a situation without an available bathroom for hours, and with my condition, I need access to a bathroom hourly. My boss and EO office say they cannot accommodate me in my current position and instead offered me a lower position.
Another employee that has the exact same job as me was allowed to work from home and not make trips across town while pregnant. That's understandable. What I don't understand is how she, more than a year after childbirth, is still allowed to work from home and is not required to take trips across town, while I am refused the same accommodation. From what I understand, she is allowed to work from home to watch her children..

Honestly, I myself don't know what exactly I am looking for. This is gonna be more like a rant ig. Just leave your opinion below guys.
I have been lurking in this sub for a while now and most people here seem chill, laid back and friendly. I thought, maybe reaching out to people of this sub would help me in some way or other way.
I'm 19M, I have been living with my parents. I'm from a tier 3 town in central Tamil Nadu. I'm an engineering student at a Tier 3 Anna University affliated college in my town. I'm a B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering student to be specific. I never really wanted to join this college tho.
I was a happy and studios kid back in my 10th std. My shit was together. I was the popular kid, but never really bothered to be popular in first place. (I'm sorry if I sounded cocky here)
I scored very good marks both in my 10th std midterms and preboards but, due to my lethargic attitude and my newly formed phone addiction back then, I messed up 10th std final boards and got only 372/500. I had the potential to get 400+ but screwed up big time.
We had a new principal at our school back then. She implemented strict rules for admission of previous 10th std class students into 11th std.
You had to have scored above 350 to even secure admission for 11th std (even if you were the old 10th std student). You had to have secured 400, to demand for Maths stream, otherwise you had to go for pure science.
My dad thought that there isn't much scope with pure science stream so he wanted me enroll for CS-maths. Since I had scored only 372/500, my dad decided to change my school.
I lost touch with my old schoolmates, couldn't make any new friends here. I hated every second in that new school. I was very depressed.
2020 came, so did COVID. This is when my mental health deteriorated. I also found out that my parents might not be the kindest people, which I thought them of to be.
One day, I heard my mom talk shit about me and gossip about me to one of my aunt on phone. I overheard it. Prior to that, I have told her multiple times to not do that anymore but, she still did. I was infuriated and wanted to teach her a lesson, so I took a blade from my sharpener and cut myself deep in one of my arms. When she the scar, she was horrified. She did feel sorry for a while about it but, when on to do it again.
I once kinda tried to do similar thing with my dad as he was also no receptive to my talks. I drank a bottle full of phenoyl from bathroom and cut myself multiple times. He didn't even feel sorry like my mom did. He just flat out told me that I was doing this all for attention. I drank that phenol while he was about to go to bed. He didn't do anything, he didn't even care anything about me, he didn't even flinch. He didn't care if I was alive or dead.
Now some of you may ask that this is highly toxic of me. Yes, I agree but, what can you expect from an only child born to two emotionally unavailable parents?
There were many times where their activities clearly bothered and I would tell them. They would still go on to do it. How am I supposed to communicate? Isn't communication a key in any healthy relationship? What if the person you are trying to communicate to, isn't receptive at all?
The more and more I hurt myself, they lesser receptive they became. They never bothered to ask me what I wanted or what's that's bothering me. The more and more I cut myself, they would take me to this money minded psychiatrist, who also never listened to my problems but would prescribe me bunch of sedatives, when I had no sleeping issue in first place.
I eventually formed a dependance on his sedatives down the line and couldn't get rid of them for nearly 1 year. I was taking meds throughout 2020 for nothing.
My parents would buy me anything but were never emotionally available or supportive. They were downright abusive to say the least.
Then, by the year 2021, I was about to write my 12th board exams but COVID second wave happened.
I got 357/500 in 12th std, which isn't some good marks. My batch got passed during second wave COVID lockdown when government declared us all to have passed the exams without writing them.
I always wanted to pursue my bachelors outside of my own hometown, like Chennai or Coimbatore but, my dad refused to let me go outside of this town cos he said he doesn't trust me and I would toil away all of my course duration, partying, goofing around instead of studying.
I even tried to convince him to send me to Trichy SRM but, he didn't bulge to it too. He said that our house is too far away so I wouldn't be able to study everyday after returning from college.
Trichy itself is 1½ hours away from my home. Not to mention, I myself have seen SRM bus often time crossing our neighborhood. I even begged him to get me enrolled at a hostel for the sake joining Trichy SRM but adhuku kuda, "Nee veetta vittu veliya pona padika maatta" crap.
I was basically given two options, get BCA at Sastra or go for B.E at this local engineering college. I chose the latter. I tried convincing my dad he didn't bulge. One of my relative even tried to support me but, he still didn't bulge.
I somehow secretly resent him for what he made me to do.
Now, let's talk about the real stuff that has been bothering me.
I joined this local tier 3 Anna University affliated college. I got one backlog in 1st sem. Then got 3 backlogs in 2nd sem. 4 new backlogs in 3rd sem. By the time I got 4 new backlogs, I had already cleared 3 out of the 4 old backlogs (1 from 1st sem +3 from 2nd sem). Now, I have total of 5 backlogs and I'm in 4th sem.
I was always afraid that I would spend the rest of my course duration trying to clear backlogs and I would never develop skills required for employment in the industry. Other times, I'm just scared that I will become one of this poor souls with 20+ or 30+ backlogs, who never managed to get a degree.
But then, I would always tell myself that it's okay. From now on, I would work hard. I will make sure I don't add up new backlogs anymore while simultaneously studying to clear old backlogs.
But what happened today, completely shattered my confidence.
Today was our second day of 4th sem final exams and I messed it up. Today we had EMF (electromagnetic field). Day before yesterday was our first exam, it was EVS. It went pretty well.
I had prepared well for my emf exam. I had scored good marks for this subject in both the internal exams. I got 75/100 in 1st internal and 71/100 in 2nd internal but still I messed it up in final exams.
Even the class topper was scratching his head during this exam.
Another thing to mention here is that I have decided to write my backlogs next sem as I had zero time this sem to prepare for backlogs.
This is when my biggest fear flared up.
What if I start to pile up even more backlogs, even if I put the hardwork.
What if I become one of those guys who are stuck with Anna University forever?
What if, even if I manage to clear all backlogs, it would be too late as all my friends from deemed and autonomous institutions would have developed skills and bagged jobs with high package?
I'm envious of my friends who got into IITs, NITs, SRM, Sastra and other autonomous institutions that follow AU syllabus.
Now, you all may say that if I had put hardwork, I could have got into it and my dad would have trusted me enough to let me go to Chennai or Coimbatore to pursue bachelors.
I'm not gonna blame my deteriorated mental health back then but, some of my old schoolmates, who scored way below than me in 12th managed to get into institutions like SRM.
My dad had wished to, he could have also sent me to SRM but, his ego has affected my career very badly.
All of my schoolmates at deemed institutions and autonomous institutions don't have any arrears and are actively working to develop skills required for employment. Many of them are doing projects, internships and freelancing, improving their CV.
I'm afraid I will be left behind. I'm afraid there wouldn't be any future for me.
I just wanna kill myself (sorry if I sound dramatic).
The only way to escape my abusive household is to get a good job but, what if I remain dependent on my parents for the rest of my life.
I often feel powerless and controlless about my own life. I'm tired of my life. Wish mom had aborted me.
I admit the fact that I wasn't very serious with my studies when I joined college but, isn't there anything to fix it? Am I doomed forever?
If I toil away all the hours for backlog prep, when will I have time for skill development?
I sometimes believe that Anna uni affliated colleges only create engineers on paper for name sake. Engineers with zero skills (I'm sorry if I sound stupid here but that's how it all seems to me) what do you all think?
Our college does have campus interviews but most of the companies that come here are start ups.
I don't wanna get into an unorganised startup.
After getting into my college and being part of my house, I know how it feels to be part of something so unorganised and chaotic. I can't do this anymore.

Newbie from out of town, have to relocate to NYC. I've been looking at a couple places to live commutable to NYP Columbia, and one popped up near the subway station at corner of 145 and St. Nicholas, close to the lower end of Jackie Robinson park. How safe is this area, especially for walking home from subway stop some later evenings/nights? Hi! I’m leaving for the Frances from SJPDP in a few weeks. I’ve gotten the advice a lot to walk a little extra to stop for the night in towns in between the traditional stages, as they won’t be as crowded. However I’m not sure what these crowded stage towns actually are, aside from the obvious like Pamplona. Is there somewhere I can see a list of these traditional stages? Which ones in your experience have been most crowded?
ALSO if there’s any smaller in-between towns that you’ve stayed in and really enjoyed, let me know! I’m trying not to plan too much in advance but I want a vague idea of where is a good place to stop each night.

Boyfriend allowed his racist friend to visit him at our place on his birthday
My boyfriend (now, ex) and I lived in a shared student apartment. I was the only person of color and there have been multiple incidents in front of him where if something goes wrong, it's indirectly pointed towards me ( like the shared money missing) especially by another roomate, P. Couple of these incidents have happened in front of him and we never addressed it cause.. what is there to say.. it's so obvious that we (I) usually try to shrug it off. P and her bf (who was also a roommate and somewhat like a friend) moved out after her studies got over to a nearby apartment. Before she left I confronted her and she denied everything and she went around saying to other in the apartment that I said some nasty things to her and tried to hurt her. I never addressed this, my problem was with her and I wanted to give her a chance to explain herself and kind of sort things out before leaving. Well, it didn't go that way.
It was my bf' s birthday and P's bf wrote to him prior asking whether it's okey for them to come by and wish him and he says yes to it and doesn't tell me anything about it. On his birthday evening, I made a birthday cake and was making a dinner for us ( he doesn't have any friends in this town) when P and her boyfriend comes in with a cake to our apartment, invites other apartment members ( some of them who are new and don't even know my bf well, we don't decide who lives with us, it's run by a management) and throws a small birthday party in our kitchen. I leave and go to my room when they are there. I was in a way happy that my boyfriend had a good evening but pissed that knowing the history they should have asked me atleast.
So, after they have all gone..I write to P's bf that ' it was nice of you to visit him, but next time ...it would be great if you let me know in advance ". I tell this to my bf ( about the message I sent) and he gets upset and tells me that they had asked him yesterday whether it was okey for them to drop by, but he didn't expect a party of any sort like what happened and then he shuts off and avoids looking at me, he is bit pissed. I get really upset and I leave his room and throw a plastic bottle at him before leaving.. I asked him to apologize for hurting me and he refused to do that.
My bf ( now - ex) is conflict averse. This happened sometime back. I talked to a friend then and she advised me to talk about my feelings than putting the blame on him, even though it's his fault cause some people shut down when you accuse them. When I did that, he just nodded and didn't say anything much and I let it go. I didn't want P to have the power to ruin my mood and I also thought I should accept that my boyfriend is conflict averse and it's not about me and no one is perfect....it's unfair for me expect others to stand up for myself, I felt I was able to stand up for myself and it's unfair of me to force others to act in a way that makes them uncomfortable and if I really love him, then I have to accept him with his flaws and not force him to change.
Now, why I am writing this is because, after the breakup I have been trying to see my and his issues that led to this place.
I don't want to repeat the same mistakes in future.
Can someone point out my red flags in this incident here and if my justification was valid or healthy or was it a sign of low self-esteem?
TLDR: Got upset at my bf for hiding from me that he allowed his friends who in the past have been racist/ rude to me for to visit our shared space on his birthday and throw him a small party.
I suspect my boyfriend to be avoidant and i want to know the POV in the scenario from people who identify with avoidant attachment style.

Is it done different times in different places? Or do franchises maybe have some leeway into when it happens? I'm driving later today after taking five days off, and it seems like someone would have mentioned it to me. Also, we had a week of half-price pizzas about six weeks ago. It's a college town - maybe they wanted to get it out of the way while school was still in?

Maybe it's confirmation bias, but I've noticed my home of Charlotte hasn't been a tour stop for JRAD, as well as my fav, Billy Strings (not counting the one-set Outlaw tour), and even WSP hasn't played in Charlotte for almost 10 years.
There are decent venues around town, so I'm not sure why this place has been in a jamband music drought for years.

The story of the well-known Pokémon anime starts with a 10-year-old boy, Ash Ketchum, dreaming to become a Pokémon Master.
However, his journey does begin with a rough start. He wakes up late and misses the chance to get his starter Pokémon from Professor Oak. Because of this, he ends up receiving a super-powerful but disobedient Pikachu, whose respect was luckily earned by Ash.
Because of having a ridiculously OP Pikachu, Team Rocket's James, Jessie, and Meowth hunt him and Pikachu down for like 25 years.
Ash Ketchum also lost many Pokémon battles due to having a Pokémon team that could be better.
So, I asked, "What if Ash Ketchum wakes up early? Does the Pokémon anime change?" and the answer is, "Yes, it does!"
Here are some POSSIBLE changes if Ash Ketchum wakes up earlier.
WARNING: The anime MIGHT get boring.

1. His starter Pokémon is Squirtle instead of Pikachu while Gary Oak picks Bulbasaur from Professor Oak. Ritchie possibly gets Charmander. (Ash never gets the OP Pikachu nor does he get Squirtle from the Squirtle Squad and instead has a Blastoise.)
   
2. Ash Ketchum MAY travel alone similar to Red from Pokémon RBY/FRLG/Origins.
   
3. He may POSSIBLY have the chance of getting Red's Pokémon in the Pokémon Gen 1 like Snorlax, Eevee, and Lapras.
   
4. Since Ash Ketchum doesn't have the OP Pikachu, Team Rocket doesn't follow Ash Ketchum but meets him in different places just like in Pokémon Gen 1, that being Mt. Moon, Lavender Town (specifically the Pokémon Tower), Celadon City (Rocket Game Corner), Saffron City (Silph Co.), and Viridian City Gym where he battles Giovanni for the Earth Badge.
   
5. Ash now has a bigger chance of winning the Kanto Indigo League tournament. Since he wakes up earlier, he has a chance of meeting better Pokémon, add them to his team, and evolve them.
   

BONUS:

1. Ash Ketchum MIGHT'VE got Pidgey in Route 1, Zubat, Horsea, Psyduck, and Vulpix, or even better Pokémon like the ones I mentioned above, Snorlax, Eevee, and Lapras.
   
2. Gary Oak and Ash Ketchum battle in the finals instead of Ash VS Ritchie.
   
3. Both Ash Ketchum and Gary Oak MAY meet and battle the Kanto Elite Four, Lorelei, Bruno, Agatha, and Lance.
   
4. Ash travels the Orange Islands with Gary (who respects Ash after Ash beats Gary in the Indigo League) and they both travel the Islands with Tracey (and possibly Ritchie).
   
5. Ash Ketchum MIGHT still receive the OP Pikachu from Professor Oak AFTER he won the Pokémon League Tournament and proved himself worthy of owning dangerous and powerful Pokémon.
