Howdy all. It's time to free up room in the safe as it is starting to overtake the room, top of dresser, top of safe, and closet. Venmo, PayPal F&F, cashapp accepted. The price you see is the price you pay shipping included (besides add on items) If you buy something from me, pick a free hat and I'll throw it in the box. Need more or better pics? Just ask. If prices are out of line, make me an offer, I want this stuff gone to a loving home. Comment, then PM.
Trades>bundles>dibs>PM's.
$230- Holosun 510c GR. Green multi dot. Bought here, previous owner said to have a couple hundred rounds. Zero by me. Glass is perfect. Light salt, just some light safe rash. Comes with box and all orginal stuff. Brand new battery installed. Green is somehow worse for my astigmatism? I'm going to continue to push through it using red dots, but the green isn't for me. $230
$45-Bushnell TRS-25. Older model, white letter Bushnell, no stylized "B" on the optic body. Purchased around 2018. Comes in orginal box. New battery, just put in to take pictures of it working. Had it on a range toy AR-9 before the brace thing made me nuter it.
$45-Crossbreed Super Tuck for TLR-7 sub Hellcat, horse leather, red dot cut, $45
$45-Werkz IWB for Hellcat with TLR7 sub/optic cut. Comes with add on dual j clips, never installed. Basically new, only used like twice. $45
$30-Bravo concealment OWB for Glock 19/17 with TLR1. Comes with pancake loops (never installed) Only used for nightstand gun holster. $30
$35- 2 holsters for glock 17 with TLR7. These are from when the TLR7 had the weird side button, but I assume will work with newer TLR7a lights, but I do not have a new style TLR7a to test. 1 Gearcraft IWB with concealment claw, 1 unknown OWB. Unknown holster has sharpie mark where I marked to heat it and reshape for better retention, so consider it a freebie with the IWB. $35
$60 Mesa Sureshell Aluminum 6 shell carrier for Mossberg 500/590. Minimal salt from banging up against stuff in the safe, mounted, took on 1 range trip, removed shortly after. Comes with all original contents in orginal package (minus stickwr because its on my cooler sorry) , allen keys extra retention rubber, ect. Shells were not stored in it so it is still super tight. $60
$50- Cloud Defensive LCS for Surefire ST-07 tape switch. New, never used. I'm too poor for Surefire lights, ordered by mistake because I can't read. $50
$400 PSA 14.7 CHF chrome lined pin and weld upper. Factory PSA upper purchased middle/late last year dirrect from PSA. Added magoul dust cover. Less than 100 rounds through it. No BCG or CH. Ran great. Shortly after I got this I got a BCM and realized I like having a fixed front sight post. Very lightly salted from having a light and forgrip mounted, but in very good shape. Too nice to be my loanebeater upper. $400
$225-Sinus clear-er 9000 upper, built by me. This was my first AR, so dont shame me too much. Cerro forge forward assist upper (probably an Anderson) with a 6"ish? DPMS 1/9 twist chrome lined barrel. Pistol length gas. FSP cut down to clear a Fortis REV-9 Keymod handguard. KAK flash can. No BCG or CH. Light salt on the upper, light mark on the underside of the rail where I had a AFG mounted because I like not shooting my hand. I cannot even begin to explain how loud this thing is. I always put foamies in, then also used muffs. Tired of waiting for a cold range to go hang new targets? Just get this out, do a mag dump and you usually end up with the range to yourself very shortly. $225? Idk what it's worth, make me an offer if that's not reasonable. I don't really want to part out because somebody "borrowed" my armorers wrench.
Add on items below. $5 shipping if bought alone, free shipping if bought with something else. Buy 2 add ons and I'll cover shipping.
$15 Trinity Force Chinese AF buffer kit. Comes with tube, spring, and carbine buffer. Not sure what I expected. $15
$15 Magpul MOE grip. Only removed from box for pics. Came with PSA kit, I prefer the K2. $15
$15- cabrine length M4 ribbed for your pleasure handguard. Probably off of a PSA. Looks new. $15
$20-rifle length ribbed for your pleasure handguard. Came off a PSA premium 20", immediately replaced with RAS5 for GWOT drip. $20
$15-Shockwave birds head grip for Mossberg 500/590. Comes with screw and washers. No plug, not sure the originals had a plug, and this one is old. Low salt biggest imperfection is around the screw hole. $15
$20-Mossberg 500 plastic corn cob pump. With "don't shoot your hand off strap" low salt, whoever put the strap on did a bad job at getting the screws symmetrical, but it works. $20
$10-Polymer heat shield for Mossberg 500 will not work with Magpul fore end. $10
$30-OEM Mossberg heat shield. Came installed on 7 shot tube 20" Mossberg 500, plastic stick may be able to be cut for 5 round models, no idea of fit for other than 20" 7 round models, as the plastic stick rests on the barrel nut block thing to hold it on. Don't ask if it will fit your gun. I have no idea. Will not work with Magpul fore end. $30
$10 NDZ anodized red aluminum safety for mossberg 500. Will include screw and little ball. $10
$20-Odin works XGMR-1. Fits New Frontier style AR9 lowers. New in package. Bought wrong one. $20
(3) Mapgul B.A.D. levers. Minimal salt. $20 a piece, $50 for all 3 and I'll cover shipping
$15 Multicam sling. Made by a member here, Allforthe2nd. Nice cheap sling, I just keep a sling on my main rifle, and don't need it, NO QD's $15.
$25 Blue Force gear Standard Issue Vickers sling. Well-used, absolutely ratfucked would be another way to put it. Still works fine, just frayed on some edges. Great for your clone correct beat to fuck GWOT larp. I bought this as surplus, and took a risk not seeing a picture. Smelled like rancid assholes, 3 trips through the washing machine mostly got the smell out, remaining sand from the Middle East included for free. NO QD's $25
$25- JMT single stage trigger. I think this company is out of business. Rightfully so. This trigger will not reset when the bolt travels back. I couldn't get it to work in 2 different guns and gave up. Buy anything else and you can have this for free. If this doesnt sell I'm gonna drop it in a random box and curse one of you sorry bastards with it. $25
Buy anything off of me and pick a free hat! Hats are not for sale, and can be picked in order that items are dibs'ed.
*edit-aimpoint gone
Imprzeza gone
Other free items (2) gun locks. New in bag with keys. Free with any purchase, just let me know how many you want.
Trades I may be interested in, money on top could go either way with trades: Holosun Aems (Non core) red Holosun 515cm red T-Rex Arms Lightbar m-lok Mbus PRO rear sight Streamlight TLR1 HL BCM KAG m-lok- black KAC (or P&S) broomstick VFG BFG sling in the Lord's plaid (Multicam). Time stamp: https://imgur.com/a/ZZmzbnv
Selling some odds and ends from my parts box. All prices are 🚒 and somewhat negotiable. Shoot me a PM.
Unknown Manufacturer 18in Mlok Rail ($50)- Bought this on a whim but never did anything with it. Plenty of salt.
Inforce WMLx SOLD - White light only with strobe feature. Only mounted and looks to have little to no salt.
Buffer Tube ($25) - It’s a buffer tube. Mounted by previous owner, light salt.
Salty-Ass, Rattlecanned PSA Upper SOLD
Unknown Manufacturer 16in 5.56 Barrel ($55) - Came to me pretty salty, still pretty salty. I never built it out, but it’s clearly seen a few rounds.
PSA 10.5in 5.56 Barrel ($40) - Was my main budget squeeze until it was pushed out by a 12.5. Idk the round count but if I had to guess it’s close to 800ish.
Esstac Piggy Chest Rig w/ Mag Pouches ($90) - This is one of Esstac’s chest rigs with molle on the front, but currently has 3 mag pouches mounted. Very little salt.
Primary Arms Red Dot and Arisaka Mount ($110) - Pretty simple. Just a PA MD-ADS red dot with a little black spray paint on the battery cap. Works well, but the + button can be finicky if you don’t press it hard enough. Arisaka Mount is a Lower 1/3. Will only split if I have a buyer for both.
I CANNOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. All my flair has been from non-PayPal transactions. See u/jumpingbeaner and u/BDOisPOO for a reference. I will accept most other forms of payment.

2023.06.05 22:19 MissionSuccess Things I've learned after 1yr in as a FTHB and DIYer

Buying a home in this market is stressful as all hell, and I feel for you all. Prices and availability may have you considering homes with critical flaws or in conditions you never thought you'd be willing to accept. I want to share our experience from a doozy of an inspection to the approaches we took to cut costs and make a fixer upper doable for us.
A heads up, this post is DIY heavy. I realize that's not for everyone. This is for those who are in that mindset, or are on the fence about DIY or learning how to research and manage trades quotes.
My wife and I purchased our first home in Denver at the height of the market in June 2022. Interest rates were much better than, but the prices were still very high.
We found an almost unmolested/untouched 1969 3br 3ba two-story time capsule with a full height unfinished basement in a nice part of town. It had a lot of deferred maintenance. Let's start with the inspection, which we absolutely refused to waive. DO NOT WAIVE THE INSPECTION. Knowledge gained via inspection later saved us $30k at the negotiating table.
Inspection Report - Major Items:
  • Significant street facing foundation wall crack. Two structural engineer assessments point to soil expansion pushing the wall in, slipping house on mud sill on that wall only. We're told it's due to poor front yard grading in the first 10-15ft causing water to pool.
  • Flat roof has seams + cracks and is due to be replaced.
  • 18 somewhat leaky, poor-condition original aluminum single-pane windows.
  • Potentially dangerous electrical panel, using known bad manufacturer from the 60s
  • Failing valves for old water softening system; complex old piping to split house between two systems.
  • 27 y/o AC condenser unit.
That was a lot barrel to stare down, but we had already done a lot of research in ways of mitigating, repairing, and spreading out these or similar issues to reduce risk and up front cost across our 6 months of shopping and putting in offers. We gave ourselves two weeks in our offer to go/no-go, to give us time to do the legwork needed to move forward, back out, or negotiate.
So we put in our offer, and quickly learn we're the only non-flippers, non-corporate buyers. The previous owners are sentimental, and so that wins us the house. After almost 20 offers, we finally have our house. The rush subsides quickly with a ton of work ahead of us.

Quotes and Fixes

Foundation fix

3 quotes, 2 structural assessments for $300 ea, 3 different approaches. We could anchor and epoxy for $12k or $15k (two companies), demo and repour for some astronomical number like $50K+ (contractor), or based on a tip I found...reinforce, epoxy, and regrade for $4.5k if we DIYed the reinforcement via a wall brace kit. After talking with the engineer at Gorilla Wall Braces, and our structural engineer, our condition was a good fit for the system and we went that direction.
Final cost was $2.6K for the kit + spec steel beams + DIY install, and what we were told might be a grade issue turned out to be a sprinkler head leak next to the foundation causing countless gallons of water to pour down it each grass watering. Once that was fixed, the area dried right up. We had it assessed and were given the clear. We later had it regraded for $700 as part of some landscape work for peace of mind.
Scary wide range, but fixed a major flaw in the report for a fraction of the price.

Old AC Unit

Stopped working within the first month of ownership during the peak of summer, in 90 deg temps. 3 quotes, Home Depot, some local HVAC company, and a guy in a truck on Thumbtack. $15k for the first for a whole new central system, $36k from the local outfit for a whole house ductless setup, and the final guy was $300 to replace the damaged capacitor and get us back up and running.
You gotta realize part of the stress here is that each outfit will sell you hard that you "absolutely want their option and no other will do, because of XYZ" and make you feel like an idiot for considering anything else. They'll use hard sell tactics to get you to sign on that line today. It can be tempting to pull the trigger for a now-fix, and they'll give you all sorts of bullshit offers and reasons to do so, but it'll eat your reno budget or trap you in finance payments for years. For every issue we had, it took really digging to find other options, but they almost always presented themselves.
Final cost was $300. Guy said it'd probably be fine for another 5 years, and had no leaks. AC worked great for the whole summer, and started up fine this year. It's less efficient, but does the job for now. Later, I'll probably install a Mr. Cool DIY ductless setup for $5-6k when we're ready to modernize, or if/when ours blows.

Leaking Roof

The flat roof started leaking almost immediately when the next couple huge rainstorms hit. At first it was a little, then a lot. That lit a fire on this one. Two quotes. $6k for a local company to patch all potential areas and guarantee the leak would be fixed, or $20k+ to scrape and reroof with TPO.
Final cost was $1.6k We ended up DIYing a Henry's silicone roof coating product for $1.6k that not only sealed it extremely well, but cut our AC bill in half due to the reflective surface. Our roof does have 3 layers on it, so this might just buy us time, but after chatting with a few folks in the field, it might get us 10+ years.

Sprinkler Valve Leaks, Line Cracks

Our first water bill revealed that we had a massive sprinkler leak, that was causing water to pool against the foundation (causing the soil expansion/foundation cracking). It was pooling under the decorative stone, so wasn't especially obvious at first. I didn't even bother quoting this one. With all the easy press-to-fit fittings at the box store, all it takes is a shovel, some fittings, and 3/4" line pipe to do most of your line repairs. $400 later everything was fixed across the yard with all new valves.

Sketchy old plumbing

The previous owners had installed a water softening system in the 80s that piped half the house on soft water, and half not. It was a mess, and every valve was questionable, including the water main. This was more peace of mind, but I opened a permit, bought the $500 PEX-A expansion gun, and replumbed the whole house with PEX to code over the summer while we had walls exposed. Total cost including the tool was less than $2k.

Leaky Windows

Call it ambition or stupidity, after a $30k quote for shitty Champion PVC double-pane double-hung windows, I hunted down a Chinese vendor on Alibaba to build us custom replacement triple-pane low-e nuts-o-quality premium casement + tilt-n-turn aluminum windows for $13k shipped to our door. They are the Bently of windows, in all but brand name. They arrived in 3-months and I was able to DIY all the 1st story windows in before fall hit. What a massive difference in quality of life they made. I might have to hire out a couple of the big 2nd story ones this summer, but even so I'll be so much better off.

Aluminum Wiring + Electrical

This one hurt, but ended up being the the single biggest improvement to the house. We learned that not only was our panel a potential fire hazard, and that the house was on old 150A service, but that most of our wiring was sketchy aluminum Vietnam era stuff that really should be mitigated or replaced. 3 quotes, all within $1k of each other. We bit the bullet. Top tier local company rewired the whole house, plus 200A panel, plus EV charger, couple sub panels, basement lighting, garage shop lighting, whole house LED lighting + switches + outlets, heated bathroom fans, really the works for $27K. Took them 4 months. Not a single old electrical cable, outlet, or switch remains. By the time it was done they told me they should have charged twice that. Feels like a new house.
Wrapping this up. These could have easily drained our reno budget and more had we gone with the first quote, or done everything by a pro company instead of DIY, or a guy in a truck / Thumbtack approach. It takes a lot more legwork, research, physical work, and usually involves taking on more risk, but I wanted to share that sometimes scary inspections aren't always costly ones. Learn what your issue is and the approaches people take to solve it, ranging from the cheap temp fix, to the best permanent one and really weigh your options. Do your homework before AND after getting quotes; be prepared to ask the right questions and be schooled to spot bullshit sales tactics and upselling, and resist and/or evaluate scope creep.
I should have added that pulling a bunch of quotes during that negotiation window gave us the leverage to negotiate the cost of our home down $30k. So while we still had to dish out for our fixes/upgrades up front, that effort was well worth it.
I also strongly advocate for FTHBs to be willing to pick up some DIY skills. I had few of these skills before owning a home. I was somewhat decent at general handyman work and picked up some trades skills from volunteering at Habitat for Humanity. With trades costs skyrocketing, the job market flimsy, and general financial uncertainty, Millennials and GenZ can't afford to throw money at the problem like many of our parents often did. Digging into Youtube and Thumbtack can stretch your budget far beyond where you'd get otherwise, and can make home ownership tenable for those who otherwise might be stretching to maintain a house.
For those considering DIY, or are hesitant, I empathize that it can be scary or daunting to take on some of this stuff at first. Just start small and work your way up. Watch videos, read stuff, double check your work. Start with projects that have lower risk to your home or yourself, where you're just risking the price of a pro to redo it right, then move up as you build confidence. Hardware stores and Youtube tuts make this stuff extremely approachable.

2023.06.05 20:15 Prophet_Rykar [OC] Humanity's Spirit

In the late 23rd century, the skies darkened with the arrival of the Nokrians. A reptilian race known throughout the galaxies as conquerors, destroyers of civilizations, and relentless expansionists. The first contact had a single, chilling message. Surrender or be eradicated. Humanity spread across Earth, Mars, the belt, and the solar system's farthest reaches bristled at the ultimatum. A united response was sent back. "We are the children of Earth. We do not surrender!" And so, the war for Earth began.
The Nokrians had underestimated humanity, viewing them as a young race scattered, technologically inferior. The aliens had crushed such civilizations before. But humankind was different. Beneath the diverse flags, languages, and planets, the fire of unity roared. Human technology, while less advanced, was innovative. Adaptive tactics and strategies changed quickly and unpredictably.
The first defining battle took place in the inner belt of Jupiter. Earth's combined fleet clashed with the Nokrian Armada. The alien cruisers dwarfed Earth's vessels, and their plasma weapons tore through our hulls. The Nokrians watched as dozens of human ships turned to stardust, confident in their victory. But humanity had a secret weapon. Its spirit. The spirit dared to dream, innovate, and resist against all odds. And amid that bloody battle, it shone brightly. Following a hasty, desperate plan, the remaining human fleet utilized Jupiter's powerful magnetic field to create a slingshot effect, hurtling smaller ships with tremendous speed toward the Nokrian Armada.
The Nokrian Shields, designed to absorb direct high-energy attacks, could not adapt to the bombardment of these human missiles. The loss they faced was unexpected and disheartening. The mighty alien Armada was forced to retreat, leaving the humans to celebrate their first victory. That day, the message of humanity echoed across the solar system. "We do not surrender!"
On the Nokrian's home world, supreme warlord K'rul watched in disbelief as reports streamed in. "So, you're telling me we lost our greatest superweapon because humans rammed a flagship into it?" The room fell into an uneasy silence. Humans were meant to be weak and insignificant. Yet they had just dealt the Nokrians a heavy blow. Despite this unexpected setback, the Nokrians remained disdainful of humanity. They saw this victory as a fluke, a lucky shot.
Commander Xok'rath received an order from the Nokrian High Command as the war entered its second year. An all-out assault on Earth aimed to crush human resistance once and for all. Closing his eyes, he remembered a phrase from an ancient human text. "The calm before the storm." The storm was indeed coming, but who would prevail in its wake was a story yet to be told. With a final look at Earth, he ordered his Armada to advance, leaving the future of humanity hanging in the balance. A cliff on the horizon of a story yet to unfold.
"Operation Thunderbolt? I must admit humans come up with interesting names," Commander Xok'rath muttered. Starring at the holographic plans of an Earth-based counter-strike against his armada. He found it difficult to understand how a young and fragile race could put up such a fight. His second in command, Virox, watched the hologram with narrowed eyes. "Commander, have you noticed? These humans fight differently compared to the other races we've conquered. They're more... reckless." "Yes," Xok'rath replied, a hint of curiosity in his voice. "They seem to have a remarkable capacity for taking risks and performing under extreme stress. There's a term they use" Adrenaline." Xok'rath said. Virox tilted his head. "Adrenaline?" "Yes," Xok'rath said. Gesturing at a display, an image of human anatomy diagram appeared, highlighting the adrenal glands. "It's a hormone triggered by stress or danger significantly enhancing their physical abilities. It allows them to perform feats that seem impossible." "Like flying their ships directly into our Armada," Virox murmured, understanding dawning in his eyes. "Yes," Xok'rath nodded. "Like that." Their discussion was interrupted by the ship's automated alarm. Operation Thunderbolt had begun.
Reports started pouring in, and Earth's smaller but highly maneuverable attack force began strafing runs on the Nokrian fleet. From Earth's surface, missiles arced, their brilliant trails illuminating the dark void. Nokrian shield generators sparked and faltered under the sheer onslaught. The human ships danced among the Nokrian Armada. "Incoming! Brace for Impact!" Xok'rath's command echoed through the ship as the Earth missiles found their target. The ship shook violently, the powerful shield failing under the human's relentless bombardment. "Damage report!" Xok'rath demanded, clutching onto the armrest of his command chair. His scales bristled with tension. "Shields down to 17%; we have hull breaches in sectors 7, 9, and 12." A junior officer reported, panic evident in his usually steady voice. "Initiate evasive maneuvers and get those shields back online!" Zok'rath ordered, his mind racing. No enemy had ever breached a Nokrian command ship's shield. Yet, here were the humans achieving the impossible again.
Meanwhile, on Earth, General Maya Serrano watched as Operation Thunderbolt unfolded. Despite the high stakes, she couldn't suppress a small smile. They were showing these arrogant aliens the true might of humanity. Serrano was a seasoned veteran, having served in the Solar Defense Force for three decades. She'd fought against pirates and led exploratory missions into unknown regions of space, and now she was helping to defend against an alien invasion. Her strategic mind was behind Operation Thunderbolt, a daring high-risk counteroffensive designed to exploit the Nokrians' overconfidence.
Back on the Nokrian command ship, the situation was dire. The shields were failing. casualties were mounting, and to Xok'rath's disbelief, the human force showed no signs of relenting. Instead, their attacks became fiercer, their maneuvers more daring. Suddenly an urgent message flashed on the command screen. It was from the Nokrian Supreme Warlord K'rul himself. His statement was brief and to the point. "Fall back to high orbit," "Regroup," "We will not be defeated." Xok'rath stared at the message, his mind swirling with questions. "Fallback?" "Regroup?" These were terms not often used in Nokrian warfare. He looked back at the holographic display of Earth, its blue and green hues seeming to pulse defiantly. "Commander your orders?" Virox asked, his eyes reflecting the unease rippling through the command ship. Xok'rath took a deep breath. A newfound respect for humanity hardened his resolve. "We follow the warlord's orders, full retreat to high orbit." "But make no mistake, Virox, this is far from over. We've awoken a giant, and we must brace for its wrath," said Xok'rath.
As the Nokrian Armada began retreating, the humans watched from their home world, ships, and colonies. They had won this round. Their defiance, unity, and sheer audacity had pushed back the invaders. If only for a while... But they knew this was not the end; the war was far from over. The Nokrians would return more determined, more desperate. Humanity would have to be ready, for they were the children of Earth, and they would not surrender!
The lights flickered in the makeshift lab as a beacon of hope emerged. On a remote outpost on Titan, Doctor Elena Petrova, humanity's leading quantum physicist, made a breakthrough. A radical new technology project, Quantum Lattice, is an adaptive energy shield that could neutralize the Nokrian's plasma weapons. News of the breakthrough spread like wildfire, the anticipation mixed with caution; after all, the security was untested in actual combat.
They needed to be more unified on the other side of the war line. In the Nokrian High Command, disagreement festered; some commanders like Xok'rath argued for a more cautious approach acknowledging the human's unpredictability. Others, like the fiery Z'tran, scorned such caution advocating for overwhelming direct force.
Back on Earth, another development was taking shape. Lieutenant Isamu Takashi, one of the few survivors of the battle of Jupiter, was chosen for a mission most deemed suicidal. Utilizing his combat experience, survival skills, and the new adaptive camouflage suit. Isamu was to infiltrate the Nokrian mothership, gather intelligence, and if possible, sabotage their operations. Leaving behind a tearful goodbye to his family. Isamu steeled himself for the task ahead. He was not just a soldier but a symbol of human determination.
Meanwhile, Project Quantum Lattice was fast-tracked for field deployment. The prototype was to be installed on the USS Vengeance, a newly commissioned cruiser. Captain Amina N'dour, an experienced and unyielding officer, was given the helm. Her task was twofold: test the shield in battle and buy enough time for Isamu to complete his mission. The USS Vengeance embarked on its maiden voyage equipped with untested technology. The moral of the human forces was... Palpable. On the Nokrian side, tension mounted as descent grew. The war was about to take an unexpected turn.
Onboard the Nokrian mothership, Commander Xok'rath studied the report of increased activity among the human forces. A chill ran down his spine; he felt the wind of change, a shiver of uncertainty. He turned to his second in command, Virox. "Prepare the fleet for an imminent attack and enhance security on our ship. I have a feeling... the humans are up to something." And thus, the stage was set the pieces were moving. As the USS Vengeance ventured into the dark abyss, Isamu descended onto the alien ship in his stealth shuttle. The entire solar system held its breath. Unbeknownst to them, they were on the brink of a new chapter in the war for Earth. A turning point was on the horizon, and with it, the tides of war were about to change.
Deep within the heart of the Nokrian mothership. Lieutenant Isamu Takashi navigated the labyrinthine corridors, and the calm hum of alien technology resonated in the walls. Contrasting starkly with the pounding heartbeat echoing in his ears. Invisible under the cloak of the adaptive camouflage suit, he slipped past patrols, moving like a phantom. His objective was clear, gather intel on the Nokrian's capabilities, identify weaknesses, and if possible, sow chaos within their ranks. But first, he had to reach the core command center.
Meanwhile, far from the silent tension of the alien vessel, the USS Vengeance found itself in the throes of battle. The Nokrian vanguard had descended upon them like a swarm of metallic hornets, but humanity had its own sting. "Activate the Quantum Lattice!" Captain Amina N'dour ordered. A shimmering energy net bloomed around the ship absorbing the volley of plasma beams from the Nokrian fighters. The cruiser seemed to glow in a lattice of light before the glow subsided, leaving the USS Vengeance unscathed. In the silence that followed, a cheer erupted on the bridge; The Quantum Lattice worked.
Then, on the Nokrian mothership, Z'tran, a high-ranking commander known for his aggression, stormed into the war room. Reports of the failed attack on the human ship had just arrived. Z'tran blamed Xok'rath for the failures, his words slicing through the tense air. "Your caution has cost us, Xok'rath. These humans... they are not as weak as you believed." A heated argument ensued, voices echoing through the chamber. Z'tran's accusations held weight among those frustrated with the human resistance. The room split, tension escalating until Z'tran, by force of numbers, wrestled control of the Armada. His first order was a resonating call for the destruction of the Earth.
During the power struggle, Isamu found himself at the heart of the command center. He had gathered precious intel, learning about Z'tran's intended all-out assault. Unfortunately, he transmitted the information to Earth before an alarm blared around him. His cover was blown, and his heart pounded in his chest as he found himself surrounded and trapped at the center of the enemy hub. His eyes darted, calculating escape routes, but it was too late. The Nokrians closed in; their alien faces were grim, and weapons were drawn.
Back on Earth, as the data from Isamu started streaming in, they also received his final message. "I've been compromised; proceed without me..." The transmission cut out abruptly, leaving a haunting silence in the command center with the enemy closing in. Isamu steeled himself; he was cornered, outgunned. His chances looked grim, but he was a symbol of humanity, and he was not going down without a fight. And thus, the climax of the War for Earth began with a lone spy's fate and humanity's future hanging in the balance.
The alien corridors were bathed in a harsh red light, the alarm blaring relentlessly. Lieutenant Isamu Takashi, cornered and outnumbered, faced the approaching Nakorians with a defiant glare. He knew he wouldn't walk away from this fight. His hand found the tiny remote in his pocket. a last resort. A beacon to call down hellfire upon his position. He pressed the button. An explosive blaze erupted from Isamu's location, cascading through the Nokrian mothership. Isamu's final act, a daring sacrifice, destabilized a significant part of the alien Armada. It was a tragic but necessary act that the human fleet used to their advantage. On Earth, his sacrifice echoed through the ranks. Isamu's bravery was a catalyst, igniting a resolve deeper than any battle plan.
As Z'tran's all-out assault descended upon Earth, the planet's defenses were pushed to their limit. But inspired by Isamu, the humans held their ground. The Quantum Lattice technology fends off the relentless onslaught. "Remember Isamu!" Became a rallying cry that surged through the human ranks. Each ship fought with a tenacity that was a testament to their fallen comrade.
The Nokrian Armada, vast, began to falter before the stubborn human resistance. And then Earth's forces unleashed a trump card. Within the bowels of these human ships, engineers and scientists worked relentlessly. Exploiting the data gathered by Isamu. They discovered a critical flaw in the Nokrian shield system. A resonant frequency that could disrupt their energy matrix. Timing their attacks to the millisecond, they fired burst after burst. At this frequency, The Nokrian Shields flickered and, with a final, resounding blast, failed. The Armada was left exposed and vulnerable. Humanity pushed, and the Nokrian forces began to crumble.
The victory was not without cost. wreckage of both Human and Nokrian ships littered the Battlefields. The Earth, though protected, was scarred by the relentless bombardment. But amidst the destruction, humanity stood tall. They had faced annihilation and emerged victorious. Both races were left to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of the war.
On Earth, a Monument was erected in Isamu's memory, a testament to the spirit of humanity. In the Nokrian home world, Z'tran's recklessness was held responsible for their defeat, leading to a shift in power. As the dust settled, the galaxy watched in awe. A species they had considered insignificant had bested the most fearsome conquerors known. Their story was one of resilience, bravery, and unity. However, with the end of the war came new challenges.
The knowledge of humanity's existence had reached far corners of the galaxy. Allies and enemies alike turned their attention to the small blue planet and its colonies, intrigued and wary. But Earth stood ready. The war for Earth had changed, unified, and strengthened them. No matter what the future holds, one thing is sure. Humanity would face it head-on, as they always had. Because they are the children of Earth! And they will not surrender!

Timestamp: https://imgur.com/a/jTnfjGe
I’ve got a nice lot of guns, parts, and gear to let go of. Everything will be paid through PayPal G&S and shipping will be calculated using pirate ship.
  1. GHK AK-74 with 2 Magazines $560
Pics: https://imgur.com/a/a9YNdg9 Build total - $840
Love this gun, hasn’t been fielded much, maybe 3 - 4 times. The guns receiver & furniture has been regularly cleaned with REM oil and internals lubed with Silicone Oil. Has a TNT Hop-up & Barrel installed and a FAB Defense UAS Folding stock. The stock has an adjustable cheek riser so if you put an optic on it, you can adjust it to what you need. The bolt was modified to be used for full travel. The system was tested with a friend’s aftermarket full travel hammer and runs smoothly, however one is not installed on the gun as I personally do not own one. The guns runs well with the half travel buffer, but it is a bit rough if not kept well lubricated. I would recommend this build to someone who plans on doing full travel either with the stock bolt or a steel one.
Comes with two green gas magazines with no leaks and prefect feed lips. The top ends of the magazines look a little rough from them being broken in but they fit snug as a rug.
  1. Krytac Vector with upgrades, tracer unit, and 4 mags $590 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/iD3Dy9w
Build Total: $880
Once again, this was one of my favorite guns. Been well taken care of and kept cleaned & greased. Been used with an 11.1v Lopo. It has an ASG 40k motor, MAX CNC Double O-Ring piston head, a Bolt Ported Piston, and an Angry Gun Suppressor with an Acetech AT2000R tracer installed. I have left the hop-up stock as I have had no issues with it and it runs phenomenally. I’ve installed a Kris’s USA sling QD body pin to replace the awful screw-on pin and allows for a second sling point. Runs like a workhorse and reliable. Comes with 4 mags with very subtle scratches from my mag pouches & the gun. they can barely seen by eye and really only by certain angles under light.
  1. Haley Strategic D3CR X Chest rig with MP2 Mag retainer inserts $168 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/EVR7dlf
Practically in brand new condition. It has 4 rifle magazine pouches (fits AR, AK, and other rifle mags), 4 pistol pouches, and two utility pouches for whatever else you want with you. The shoulder straps are an X-Harness with Molle slots. The smooth back piece can be removed to Velcro on to a plate carrier. The magazine retainers will keep the magazines in more secure so the risk of the them falling when running, jumping, climbing, etc. is massively reduced.
  1. Velocity Systems Mayflower Assault Plate Carrier $168 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/OnOl5It
Like the Haley Chest rig, it’s in practically new condition. The Carrier is size S/M while the Cummerbund is L so it can be adjusted to fit any size. The front of the plate carrier has a large kangaroo pouch for holding rifle mags and two smaller pouches on the chest area. It comes with the CBN3 cummerbunds with side plate pockets and elastic inner pouches for mags, tools, etc. .
❗️I can bundle the Plate Carrier and Chest rig together as a Carrieplacard combo for $321❗️ Pics: https://imgur.com/a/9iQ0LAc
  1. Sig Sauer Juliet 3 Micro Magnifier $180 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/BqGYGlK
Fantastic 3X flip-to-side magnifier. In prefect condition other than some very light scratching on some edges. Crystal clear lenses, kept well cleaned, and has a protective cover for the lenses. Diopter adjustment dial on the rear lens and the height is adjustable.
  1. Olight Javelot Tactical Weapon light $100 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/JCENwXL
Like brand new, really nice compact weapon light. 1000 lumen max output, 200 lumens on low. Claimed 600m throw on high with a very prominent hot spot and good candela. The two button pressure switch has a high and low power switch and acts as both a momentary and on/off. Tap the switch to activate on/off; hold it for momentary. The pressure switch connects the the back of the light with a magnet and locks into place. The charger is magnetic and just attaches to the back of the light where the pressure switch goes. The light uses a Surefire Scout foot print and can go on any Scout light mount, will come with a 45Β° M-LOK mount.
  1. Magpul Zhukov-U Hand-guard for AK-47/74/104-5 $95 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/kCtrnmG
Like brand new, tough polymer handguard with an internal heat shield for the AK platform. Multiple M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom. To install this handguard, the lower handguard retainer needs to be removed. Other than that, it’s just a drop in fit.
  1. Novritsch replica suppressor $25 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/EB3ooTN
Novritsch suppressor with light wear, 14mm negative threading. The foam will be included but packed separately.
  1. LCT railed AK dust cover $43 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/ZUjFYZf
Great condition, the tip of the hinge was originally filed down to fit on a Cyma sight block, but this does not affect the functionality of it on LCT, Arcturus, and other AK platforms.
  1. Matrix skeleton stock $15 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/Mjja5nw
Solid stock, rough condition. Wear on the edges of the but pad, bottom, and top. There appears to be a very small spot of thin surface rust on the top which is not hard to remove.
  1. Cyma smooth dust cover $12 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/IT3yWhr
Really good condition
  1. Cyma rear sight block assembly $10 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/Vs3khLA
Light scratches in the usual spots
  1. Cyma AK-104/5 front sight block $7 Pics: https://imgur.com/a/ePLLzaZ
In really good condition
Once again, Payment is through PayPal G&S and shipping will be determined using Pirate Ship, TyπŸ™ƒ

2023.06.05 18:54 hijesushere Welcome to the ExMormon Music Rodeo Showdown, starring your host, Eneagram Hotspot.

Edit: oh, I thought this got posted last night. This ones a doozy you guys. Sorry, it's not, well, its kind of related to being Mormon... I mean, it's in the same ethical framework, I'm exchristian too, I just, uh, went the other direction. Anyways, I missed class, I overslept, so I'm heading over to the schizophrenia subreddit to try telling them over there. They can probably relate at least, I'm sure none of them will listen to me either but, I'm at work, you know what I mean? I can't not be doing anything, no matter how pointless it may seem. We're prospectors after all: gotta keep panning that river am I right, squad? Luh you fam. Don't tear my head off, please. The songs make a movie if you watch then in order. It's all whatever, I had a great time making it for you guys, regardless if anybody wants to play my game or not, I know it's pretty long. Anyways,
Hey whats up you guys, it's Michael, I'm an angel. Well, that's what I tell people online, anyways. I typically don't tell people in person, it just makes for an awkward conversation, and I just don't have enough energy to act weird enough for them to consider it so like... you know, it's just stupid. It's typically a waste of time. "Oh but if you're Michael then blah blah blah" I'm like yeah... boop. Switching gears:: the man does not care in the slightest. Your boy, my sweet ex Mormons, your friend here, who, obviously, is suffering from delusions of Grandeur and... you know, just NARCICISM, is simply looking for attention. Pshhh, ok homie. I mean yeah, wouldn't you? Like what else am I trying to do. Like hello. Like let's get this thing moving, good grief what the heck do I have to do? I could heal someone... I'm still working on my eyes... my powers have been, slightly extended... anyways, holy crap you guys, I'm sorry, this post isn't even about that. I just got off work, I'm just sort of still unwinding. Pretty hilarious day not gonna lie to you. So anyways, basically, I just, well, I'm starting to anyways, but I pick a sub and then I do like a Playlist of whatever type jams I'm listening to. Your boy loves kpop you guys, they sing like angels, don't you think? Anyways... how it works is, I'll play a song, you'll either listen or watch it, it's up to you, and then, uh, you read, uh yeah you read the words that I had typed on the screen. Oh and I'm ex adventist if that counts for anything, that's sort of like Mormon, except Mormonisms better: Mormon dudes get a ton of chicks. That's a religion after my own heart right there.
Alrighty, let's get started.... mmmmm.... what're we feeling... yuhh ok I got one... https://youtu.be/uiUAq4aVTjY.... boom goes the dynamite. I'm on mobile so I can't type while I watch the song, so if I have anything; jfc why am I explaining this.
Yoooo, next up homiesssss: https://youtu.be/h2S3RvIHwGs kapshhhh yo you guys wanna listen to some angel music later? I'm thinking there's a few we could play, Gloria's uhhhh I don't know if Gloria has anything new out but Gabriel and Anik and those guys all have like, er they just came out with a new album or whatever. Ooo, actually I haven't heard it yet, you guys wanna listen to one of theirs right now? Well wait, I already picked one. Ok do this one for now, we can listen to the other Archangels later, they're not going anywhere.
Wouldn't stop until I say so, alright, holy crap that went on for far too long. Took me until 3:20 to remember that I have free will and, uh, this isn't actually a livestream, I don't actually have to listen to the entire song: you guys aren't wearing my headphones right now. Honestly you guys it's a miracle I'm able to get out of bed at all in the morning, you'd think I'd be eating out of a tube in a deluxe gazebo right now if you catch my SABLABLE. sablablsablablsablabllabllabllablabl oh wait song ok yo so, that was kind of terrible I'm sorry you guys I mean but you still have to listen to it. Oh wait, you guys are exmormons, so you're not gonna do what Jesus says, are you? Dang it. Alright look, we can make a deal. I'll be Jesus and you'll do what I ask, but, you're gonna be Mr Swunkles and we're gonna put you in a little bonnet and put you up in your wittwe high chair, yes we are, and we're going to put you with Mr Stinky, oh yes, oh yes we is.. ok, um GOT IT. Brb. Boom.
Ok, yo, that one was a bop. Such a vibe, man. Alright, so now we're gonna play one that I wrote for Gabriel and Anik and Zoaster and whoever else is over there, iunno, Gabriel was the only one who's voice I remembered. Anyways, you're not going to believe this, but I'll tell you anyways, because it's hilarious. So like, I'm on acid. And like, I'm like talking to all these people telepathically. And I hear Gabriel, I don't remember exactly how the conversation went, but, basically, I gave him a song, I was in a state of mind where I could like instantly create and transfer to him because like, that's how we're built, we can do that kind of stuff when we're in our unfallen state. I imagine most of us are in a fallen state by this point, but you can get it back with psychedelics. Anyways, I give him a song, and I tell him, I'm like yo if this is real put a Mexican restaurant song on your album. So then a couple months go by, blah blah blah, yeah whatever, it's all whatever it was just he like I sent them a song or whatever, it's no big deal. But anyways here's Gabriel and my other bros. Oh but we're not going to play the song I wrote, it doesn't have a video and it's honestly not one of my favorites. Like it's cool but like, I dunno I'm kind of over the whole thing, like there's oh my God I'm doing it again, here: https://youtu.be/7bDg7n-chhU.
Man, made it to the end of that one, that's for sure. Man, they're so freaking cool you guys. Freaking bunch of like you guys, like that's like the Capitol you know what I mean? Like when I get to them it's going to be like there's a new White House. It's only a matter of time; because I, am, the baddest of them all, and if you not bout money, then I don't mess with yall. Yall think I won't get girls, cuz I ain't very tall, something bout my stacks, I betchu that she calls. Anyways uh, I'm feeling more a7x, for sure dude, alright yeah let's play the one I sent them. Anyways I want to watch more Red Velvet, let's see, uhhh how about this one, this one's pretty. I never could have gotten to this point without the help of Kpop girls. Imma, here, hold this, I'm gonna go throw myself a nice little slumber party down at the happy times funhouse silly head ranch down on Bartholemew and Brownlee, holy fucking shit man. Haha but fr, like, people think I'm like, schiczi... oh My God, haha how does this keep happening haha. Ok wait haha what haha uh did I link it https://youtu.be/R9At2ICm4LQ
I'm not going to lie to you guys, those chicks make me feel retarded: so retarded that I actually use the word retarded in a sentence online, just to see how it feels. It feels incredible. Absolutely incredible: I'm on cloud nine, because, basically: I'm Young Dolph. So anyways, whoo whoooooo aiight aight aight aight now hollup, now hollup righ qui... blassohftypashhh, camasabringinaquaa... cabringinawhambadahwandarandathemdorktlpftyms? Is basically, wait, what level is this, DUMB DUMB. https://youtu.be/XGdbaEDVWp0 It's funny because I'm actually stupid enough to think that there are messages for me in these songs. Ahh, I shouldn't beat myself up... it's pretty sweet, either way. Like come on you guys, know that you know all of the famous people, like just know that. Just like know that you put them there, or whatever. Anyways, what? Anyways, so oh shit I already linked it haha yuhhhhh.
Anyways, there's like, symbolism in the video if you know what to look for, it's just like everything else in my life. Every step has just led to this, that's all it ever was. Anyways, yuh, let's blast off... lemme think... yuhh I'm feeling it, ok hold up: here.
Dang. That was awesome. They're so fire. I know they're not really my wives you guys, I know that. They could be. I could... you guys... now... ok... now hear me out... what if... and I'm just saying maybe.............................

So, ya know, basically, what I'm saying, is that I got one of those Navage things and I've been cleaning my nose with it every single night. Brent0331 Multicam Tropic Effectiveness Test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhEJTALli1c
If you like Crye combat gear, you will like UF Pro better. After trying UF Pro, my Cryes felt cheaply made and lacking on functionality so I got rid of them. UF Pro's pants have a lot of scalability built into them with the integrated multilevel knee pads, and multiple zipper mesh openings for heat management. Most important to me, the knee pads cannot be ripped out since their are in protected pockets and there is a windstop layer that UF Pro sells which can be added to the pants with ease for windy/colder climate.

Around 500 rounds. Some carbon buildup on end of barrel which can be removed with a CLP soak or some form of Carb-out. There is a small chip in the cerakote on the ejection port cover but you should be rattle-canning this upper anyway.
Gas block pinning done by D. Wilson Mfg. Barrel nut is torqued down to correct Geissele specs using Aeroshell 33 anti-seize grease. The rails crossbolts and set screws are secured with Loctite GO2 Gel/Glue (Heat Resistant Silicone-Based Loctite similar to Blue Loctite for a thread-locking capacity comparison).

Secret Money Making Hack no Game developer knew until today. $$$
Unveiling the SECRET MONEY Making HACK turning Old Flash Games to MONEY PRINTERS
Remember the golden era of online gaming when platforms like Newgrounds captivated players with a plethora of exciting Flash games? Unfortunately, the deprecation of Flash has rendered many of these games unplayable. But what if there was a way to revive these classics and even turn them into a lucrative opportunity? In this article, we will reveal a secret money-making hack that no game developer knew until today. Brace yourself as we delve into the world of resurrecting old Flash games and capitalizing on their nostalgic appeal.
I am a man on a mission of unlocking the infamous "Passive income" a though it has been alluding me for years I think I have found the answer. Sparked by two videos by great game devs I set out even more feverishly to finally succeed. While spending a little more time procrastinating on the development of a card type inventory system for a game I am developing I decided, as most do, to partake in a few YouTube videos all about game development and eventually stumbled upon videos by Jabril who in his video was remaking a legendary DBZ game and HelperWesley who had finally released his rouge like game and amazingly was paid by Newgrounds. NEWGROUNDS??? HELL YEAH. So I got right to work...
Before we dive into the money-making aspect, let's briefly understand the demise of Flash. In 2020, Adobe officially ended support for Flash Player, leaving countless Flash games inaccessible. The shift to newer technologies like HTML5 has rendered the Flash format obsolete. However, this presents a unique opportunity for savvy entrepreneurs who can leverage nostalgia and rekindle the magic of these forgotten gems.
To begin this money-making journey, you could research and identify popular old Flash games that hold nostalgic value for players. Websites like Newgrounds, Kongregate, and Armor Games were teeming with such titles. However Jabril did the work for us deciding on DragonballZ Tournament from Cartoon Network's old collection of flash games. The best part about that video is he somehow managed to not finish the game! Linked Here:[https://youtu.be/JXp7y-JE-e4] So that means there are still not many ways to easily access this classic title. Unless you follow the link at the bottom of the article. Wink wink nudge nudge. No it's not there yet and I'll tell you why as the article progresses.
This article is here not for views but to get you a game up and running on the app store, Google PlayStore and other video game market places as fast as possible so that money can fall into your pockets. In my personal opinion I think that targeting the mobile market is where the bulk of money can be made due to everyone having at least one smarphone.
To maximize the reach and potential revenue of your revived Flash games, it's crucial to optimize them for mobile devices. With the majority of gamers now playing on smartphones and tablets, adapting your games to this platform is a smart move. Consider aspects like touch controls, screen resolutions, and performance optimization for various devices and operating systems. Investing in responsive design and user-friendly interfaces will enhance the gaming experience and attract a larger player base.
When it comes to this game, yes I did literaly just copy and paste the art assets using PicsArt and my Samsung galaxy s23 for editing. From there I imported the pictures to a game engine known as buildbox which is good for prototyping games but due to their high price on the softaware you would have to be certain your game was going to make at least $200 dollars this year to cover the cost. More on circumventing that later. Next is getting the character models which is easy with the hardest part being which models to swipe from the Video game resource sites. 3D models are chosen over 2D because of the ease of animating them using Mixamo or anything similar. For saving time I am only going to program 2 characters while using the silhouettes for other characters "coming soon." Hopefully this kind of advertisements will keep the app on people's phones long enough for me to complete the game. For even more speed I'm using one model as the base model for creating animations and then using the other character's parts to represent those specific characters and provide possible character customization system in future updates. That is of course if I can refrain from being sued.
That part is probably the most important part so let's tackle that as best as we can. First and for most, at least starting off, forget about the money. The longer you aren't making money from your project the more likely you may be able to fly under the radar. Look at the market and see if there are people already using the IP or something similar and see how they may be getting away with this. They may have a licence to use the IP, in this case DBZ, or they may just call it by another name and make the characters look just different enough that you as a viewer couldn't confuse what you've made to be something the official company owning the IP has made. For those who are "getting away" with actually using the IP somehow study just how they are doing it. If, however you have chosen a flash game that is not really owned by anyone officially you need not worry but there may be some flash game creators who have had their work copy righted so it is your responsibilty to investigate further.
Now comes the exciting partβ€”monetizing your Flash games. There are several proven strategies you can employ to generate revenue from your resurrected titles:
a) Advertisements: Implementing targeted advertising within the game or alongside it can generate consistent revenue. Consider partnering with advertising networks like Google AdSense or incorporating rewarded video ads to incentivize players and enhance engagement.
b) In-App Purchases (IAPs):
Introduce optional in-game purchases to enhance the gaming experience. Offer cosmetic upgrades, additional levels, power-ups, or exclusive content that players can purchase to support the game and gain a competitive edge.
c) Sponsorships and Partnerships: Collaborate with relevant brands, influencers, or gaming platforms to sponsor your revived Flash games. Cross-promotion can help attract a larger audience and provide additional revenue streams.
d) Premium Subscriptions: Offer a premium subscription model that provides subscribers with exclusive benefits, such as ad-free gameplay, early access to new releases, or special in-game rewards. This approach can create a recurring revenue stream and foster a loyal community of players.
To ensure the long-term success of your venture, actively engage with the gaming community and leverage social media platforms. Interact with players through forums, gaming communities, and social media channels to gather feedback, address issues, and build a loyal fan base. Regularly update your games with bug fixes, new features, and content expansions to keep players hooked and excited about your offerings.
Lastly release these games to any and every platform you can find. Since the game market is so satuarated these day it is not gaurenteed that your game will be found but if you're very lucky you could be generating money from one game on several platforms. Using the flash games of the past as a template or blueprint also provides for a better approach to learning programming and game development. So it is highly probable that this could be the best business venture for a beginning game developer.
Reviving old Flash games that were once lost to the deprecation of Flash provides a unique opportunity to capitalize on nostalgia and tap into a dedicated player base. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can breathe new life into these classics and turn them into a profitable venture. Embrace the challenge, unleash your creativity, and let the gaming world rediscover the magic of these forgotten treasures.
Now I know that you have now come to the end of the article, and if you have made it this far, I greatly appreciate your views. I had spoken earlier about the high cost of Buildbox's business model when it comes to game development and Buildbox as a game engine overall. In order for one to be able to release games to the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store using Buildbox, it is important that you first pay the $200 a year fee for the software that allows you to distribute your game to platforms like Android Studio, enabling you to place it on Android phones via an APK. However, this cost can be a significant barrier for aspiring indie game developers who may not have the financial means to invest in the software.
Therefore I have two choices. I could make the switch back to Unity3D now or continue to use Buildbox of which I have made the most progress with. I'd much rather continue with Buildbox but I have decided to allow others to help me make that decision by asking for a small contribution to this link [cash.app/$GoodGamerGate].
In a months time i'll be reporting back with the results of the project and this article and if within that time the funds haven't been raised I'll be taking the project to Unity3d. Thanks for reading and let me know what old flash games you would like to play all over again. Maybe we'll make it.

2023.06.05 15:04 Top10TravelYoutube Backpacking The Middle East with Maple Syrup Larnaca, Cyprus 2022.11.22 - 25 5 Min Read Blog Post #50

Context - This is the fiftieth of many blog posts where I share the stories of my travels to people interested and for my future self to read back. This post is about ending off a long trip and my time spent in southern Cyprus.
Well, this will be the final blog of not only this particular trip, but the entire first year of travel. Blog number 50, about country number 50…Cyprus.
An EU country that has always been seen as part of the Middle East, Cyprus is geographically in Western Asia but its cultural ties and geopolitics are overwhelmingly Southeastern European.
Arriving in Larnaca for my extended layover from Beirut, I was keen to see what the city had to offer and try to learn about the nation's long and complicated history as much as possible. To do this I visited The Church of Saint Lazarus, the Archaeological Museum, a nearby mediaeval fort and the Hala Sultan Tekkesi.
I even attempted to make the most of my time by heading to a nearby town and further learning about the history of Cyprus as much as I could during this short layover of a visit. I think a few extra days here sometime in the future would be just enough to check out other regions but I was keen to do what I could this time around. I was really hoping to visit the capital Nicosia and see the UN buffer zone/ disputed border line for myself but that’ll have to be another time.
Not only did I try and enjoy my last day of slight warmth before heading back to Canadian winter, but I also made sure to get my fair share of local Mediterranean dishes such as tiropita, koupes and of course, souvlaki!
After a quick stop back at the hostel to get my bag packed, I set out for one last big walk and found a nice coffee shop by the sea. The owner spoke great English, so we just chatted until it was time for me to head to the airport.
Eventually, with no issues or delays the plane departed and landed around 11:30 PM kicking off my overnight stay in Gatwick. By 5:00 AM I woke up freezing cold and decided to just find an open restaurant and grab some coffee to warm up. With the remaining time I just watched YouTube and then eventually a World Cup match until it was time to check in.
After a brief delay attempting to prove that my bag did indeed fit into the carry-on slot, at last, the 8 hour flight from Gatwick to Toronto took off and I was ready for a much needed nap.
It was the final flight of the year and hard to believe as I scrolled through my camera roll and reminisced, I’m grateful for it all.
Amidst all the fascinating people I met, new and interesting foods I encountered and the countless adventures that’ll remain prominent in my memory for a long time, the biggest lesson I learned this past year was the need to slow down, take things as they come, and not over plan. It's amazing how the people you meet and the places you visit can shape your journey in ways you never imagined. Instead of trying to do it all on your own, sometimes it's best to let the experiences and destinations guide you.
I’m in no particular rush to complete this goal of mine but I often found myself compensating for my slight worry about what the future may hold by looking ahead too often instead of being present as much as possible. I think this was more obvious during my first two adventures of this year where I basically already had a return date and focused a lot more attention and effort into constantly filming everything, taking photos and spending too much time editing in the evenings instead of putting the overall experience first before anything else.
Towards the end of the year and even now as I write this in South America, I’ve definitely made sure to spend as much time as possible being present. Whether that means not spending time planning too far ahead, putting work to the side when there’s a lot going on and deciding what I’m really keen or curious on seeing/ experiencing rather than just doing something for the sake of doing it.
It’s all about finding a balance and taking things one step at a time.

2023.06.05 07:39 0bi1-ken0bi PART 2 of my 5 ATB rant from yesterday - State of this generations gamers

So yesterday I put up this question of why everyone's one a 5 ATB with everyone on stay back tactics and from the replies I understand its a mix of pro players and youtubers using it and hence everyone's just copying it .
Now I'm slightly older and grew up in a very different generation of gaming , and for me I feel like streamers are probably one of the main contributors to the degradation of the gaming experience .
My gaming phase as a kid went from friends huddling up around a console (Pre mobile phone and internet era's ) thru the phase of when internet just got introduced to now .
The best part for me about a gaming experience was just trying to figure out how to get better at a game . There was no YouTube streamer telling you that is the formation to use and this is the player to use . You would sit and grind and try different things out and at some point you would see that you are getting better. That entire learning experience was the best thing about gaming .
And you would notice the same in other gamers cause everyone tried different things and found their own unique way of being good . This in turn trickled down to the fact that whenever you played someone else you'd be face a different style and different kind of challenge , and the trick was on how quickly you could adapt and make corrections .
Every game was a different experience .
Fast forward to today and everyone is watching the same YouTube guys saying the same thing . You can spend money and buy whatever player they ask you to and people just take the shortcut . So suddenly you are only coming up against the same team and tactics game after game . No need to switch play styles , no adjustments , just repeating the same thing time after time like a chore and no wonder people fall out of love with the game .
You are not have fun cause someone is telling you how to play the game and when it doesnt work for you like it works for him , you get frustrated . Use your own head , figure out a game on your own and maybe you'll just enjoy playing the game .

TLDR: If you can sit through a youtube video of someone explaining you how to play a game , you can probably also take to time to read the above .
