DISCLAIMER: As someone in their late teenage years, many of these mistakes have been made, and most of them have been learned from experience. This guide has been created to help educate anyone involved with drugs on how to best protect themselves against law enforcement, and to do this for a very, long time. However, despite this probably being the quickest and easiest method to generate money, the risk far outweighs the reward. You can put your family, friendships and personal life in jeopardy, and you will have to rely on too many stupid people not to get caught. If you or your friends don't mind that, then read this before you do:

General statements

-Keep business and personal life separate. This will depend on the anonymity of your business life. For example, keep your family separate by fabricating an alternate persona for your business life.
-Don't get high off your own supply. Consuming your own product may reduce any profits you make. For example, you buy a bag of product but inject it all in one day, now you don't have enough money to buy more needles and expand your business.
-Frequently test your product. Failure to do so in an unregulated business may eventually result in overdose, arrest and death. For example, you decide to sell a new batch of product your supplier has cut without reagent testing, and you are later arrested because your customer died of a fatal substance interaction.
-Invest and sell in bulk. Only invest in large quantities of product that have the highest profit margins and rate of purchase, while reducing the customer base to bulk buyers. For example, products bought in bulk such as benzodiazepines, cannabis, opiates and amphetamines will generate the most income.
-Trust no one. Don't engage in activities that require trust such as fronting people anything like money, or product. For example, if a junkie can't afford his addiction, don't fuel his debt.
-Loose lips sink ships. Unnecessary disclosure of sensitive information can be used as evidence against you. For example, your customers think it is okay to short change you because you've boasted to them about how many gucci belts you own and how much money you earn.
-Don't shit where you eat. Everything relating to your business should be dumped off your property or destroyed. For example, you should never be vulnerable if you get raided.
-Better safe than sorry. Never get comfortable, always analyse and improve your security. For example, imagine you are the prosecutor looking for holes in your defence in court.
-The aim of the game is to have no name. Make it known to your associates that you will not do business with anyone who discloses your name or any sensitive information. Cut everyone off who does, as this presents a major security issue for you. For example, if you have any unknown contacts for your business, then that is an indication you need to cut off one of your associates.
-Ignorance is bliss. The less you pretend to know about anything related to your business, the better. For example, intent to possess or sell product is usually required for law enforcement to charge you with an offence.

Transactions

-Only do business with virtually untraceable currency, such as cash or bitcoin. This will prevent law enforcement from using money as evidence for any purchase or sale of illicit products. For example, any cash that is seized by law enforcement requires evidence to determine if it is illegal money.
-Never let anyone know your property. This is because your property will link back to your personal life and compromise your anonymity. For example, no one should know where you live, what car you drive or firearm you possess.
-Never handover product first, without the handover of money. Customer could receive product without releasing funds. For example, you give a crack-head a bag of product and he runs away with it.
-Don't do business with anyone you don't know. A verification system must be used to qualify people as associates such as customers, suppliers or employees, where a person requires at least one successful transaction to be able to make direct purchases or sales, and people without verification should not be able to contact you. For example, you can be relatively certain that a potential customer is legitimate if they have made a successful transaction.
-Use third parties and dead-drops for high risk transactions. These techniques make it difficult for law enforcement to create links because they separate you from any transaction. For example, your middleman was able to retrieve your product because law enforcement did not have the resources to constantly surveil the dead-drop.
-Never come under control by other people's property. Doing so reduces the chance of you being able to escape a robbery or arrest. This includes things such as cars and houses. For example, you give money to a person inside his car in exchange for product, then he hands you a bag of dog biscuits and drives away.
-Dictate the location/time of every transaction. This reduces the chances of being robbed or arrested. For example, choosing a time closer to a transaction, and a location further away from a station would give less time for law enforcement to act.
-Keep all transactions public and discrete. This reduces your chances of getting robbed. For example, think of creative ways to make a transaction in public more appropriate and efficient.
-Don't use your vehicles for business. Vehicles have number plates which can be traced back to you through registration. For example, you can get pulled over and charged by law enforcement should there have been reasonable suspicion to search it.

Communication

Don't use unencrypted or any particularly insecure methods of communication. This includes anything that can be used to identify you with your business, such as mobile phone numbers, email services and social media. For example, you were arrested because your phone was tapped by law enforcement while under investigation, or you were caught selling product online when Facebook granted law enforcement access to your account.
-Force any encryption onto electronic communication between yourself and anyone related to your business. This includes customers, suppliers and employees. For example, you can use encrypted anonymity tools for communication such as Tor and Wickr to conduct business.
-It is best only with verified associates to discuss sensitive information in person. Using electronic communication in this case is more vulnerable than communicating face-to-face, given that you can't be certain of who is on the other side. For example, it is important to treat personal communication as a layer of security if you have reason to believe your electronic methods of communication have been compromised.
-Never leave any electronic device to hibernate while you are accessing sensitive information related to your business. Other people can retrieve your sensitive information from devices such as computers, phones, hardrives or tablets while you are not present. For example, a house mate gains access to your sensitive information because you left your laptop to hibernate while you went to the toilet.
-Use a logless VPN to change your IP address (physical location) to hide from your ISP (internet service provider) from your electronic devices when in use. This is so that your communications and browsing history cannot be linked with any of your business online. For example, accessing the same website through both business and personal ISP accounts without a VPN may link your personal internet traffic history to your business activity elsewhere, making you a potential suspect for law enforcement.

Evidence

-Don't store your entire stash on your property. Even if the stealth was so impeccable that you could not find its location yourself, drug dogs in a search warrant will.
-Keep all things related to packaging hidden and separate from product when not in use. This is so that they cannot be identified by law enforcement and linked with the sale of product. For example, written documents, clip seal bags, scales, mail, cutting agents, heat sealing devices and drug paraphernalia.
-Ensure product during processing is disposable at all times. You should be able to dispose of product in the process of packaging before law enforcement can get to it. For example, you flushed the product down a toilet or sink before police could seize it during a raid.
-Move stash frequently. Repeated visits to your stash creates a pattern which can be traced if you are under investigation by law enforcement. For example, the police followed you to your stash from home, planted cameras near your stash and acquired evidence for the stash being in your possession.
-Don't let anyone else apart from yourself know where your stash is located. Doing so will most likely result in a robbery, and it can also result in your arrest if that person became a police informant. For example, your stash goes missing, your employee gets arrested or robbed, unable to return funds or product, and snitched on you after having informed him where your stash was located.
-Wear gloves, hairnets and long cloths when handling business. Biometric evidence such as fingerprints, hair follicles and skin can be used to gather evidence for possession of product. For example, your fingerprints on that bag of product is evidence of you possessing it.
Destroy (wipe) all digital evidence after use. You can wipe hardrives clean with programs such as DBAN, and wipe any digital documents and photo metadata with software like Tails, and learn how to factory reset your mobile devices. Ideally, all digital information must be temporary, amnesic and self-destructing.
-Destroy (burn) all physical evidence after use. Do not dispose of evidence inside your property's garbage bins, as it is routine for law enforcement to search them. For example, if you dispose of evidence such as clip seal plastic bags and documents in your bins, it could be used against you as evidence after law enforcement have collected it during a search warrant.
-Regularly wipe electronic devices that may contain information related to your business. This is so that law enforcement can't use that evidence against you if they have a search warrant to seize and analyze your digital belongings.
-Build a team that live in the same property. Living with other people that work for you increases business availability, and ambiguity for the prosecution after a search warrant. For example, any product found requires evidence such as fingerprints to discover who exactly is in possession of it.
-Remove all physical and digital evidence from property if you believe you are under law enforcement investigation. You must take every precaution necessary so that law enforcement cannot find a shred of evidence of your illegal activity if they execute a search warrant. For example, the prosecutor couldn't press charges on you because they found no evidence to support their case.

Game over

-Don't talk to police. Anything you say can and will be used as evidence against you. Suppose you said everything right, talking to law enforcement is still a no win situation. For example, you could have said everything right in the police interrogation, but the prosecution can still claim that you weren't cooperative since you had essentially denied everything.
-Know your rights. State nothing except for your name, date of birth, and right to silence and an attorney when being interrogated by law enforcement. You will most likely incriminate yourself if you fail to do so. For example, police stopped questioning you when you exercised your right to silence and an attorney.
-You know nothing. Do not admit to knowing or remembering anything. For example, if law enforcement ask you if you remember anything about a package they found in your property during a search warrant, your defence can be a complete lack of knowledge and intent for such a claim.
-Play dumb. You don't know or understand anything about the law, the morality in breaking it or the likely risk of engaging in activities that do. The less culpable (guilty), and the more naive you are about the law, the better chance you have of winning in court. For example, defences such as mental insanity and impairment are successful when the defendant demonstrates that he does not understand the morality of the charges.
-Don't appear guilty. Become void of all body language as not to raise suspicion of your guilt. For example, defensive postures, eyes that stray left and right and feet that point toward the door are all signs of guilt that law enforcement will detect. Leave all emotions out of the process, especially guilt. For example, you confessed in an investigation room because you broke down after being told how many years in jail you're apparently going to serve, and that all further charges would be dropped if you confessed. Don't be that guy.

You're in trouble

-Don't talk to federal agents. Say nothing of substance; anything you do say can be falsified, editoralized or misinterpreted. Believe it or not, at this level law enforcement are willing to lie in order to convict you. For example, a federal agent tells you that you won't hear from them again if you cooperate with police, then you get a call later from a prosecutor detailing your court date.
-You are guilty until proven innocent. The investigation process is no longer about guilt or innocence. For example, federal agents at this level care more about catching you out on a lie than determining your innocence.
-Don't deny anything or behave surreptitiously. Anything you say is now open to further investigation. For example, federal agents opened up an investigation on your associates because you avoided sharing information about them.
-Always divert federal agents to your lawyer. Whether they are dropping their business cards on your car window, turning up to your front door, or in an interview with you, always have a lawyer to engage them on your behalf. For example, a federal agent threatens you with a grand jury-subpoena if you do not talk, you tell them to address your lawyer about it.
-Record any encounters you have with federal agents. The only advantage you have over them is relying on their ability to lie or make errors, since they are not legally allowed to record you, other than in their peer reviewed notes.

THE THREE LITTLE PIGS. WE HAVE ALL HEARD OF THIS STORY. MOST OF US. IN THE FINANCIAL WORLD OF ECONOMIC INVESTMENTS, HOW WOULD THE STORY BE TRANSLATED? THE THREE LITTLE PIGS, INSIDE OF THE FINANCIAL WORLD OF ECONOMIC INVESTMENTS. HOW DOES ONE TRANSLATE THIS? I went through a bunch of different quotes and this was the one that I liked the most. This is a cash price. The rep was really nice with answering questions and the companies reviews are decent, but I wanted to see if anyone sees any issues.

Secondary Question:

• The QCells come with a 12 year manufacturer warranty so I asked for alternatives (since another company emphasized how important that was) and I could get the VSUN450-144BMH with a 25 year manufacture warranty. Does manufacturer warranty matter that much? And given the Qcell or Vsun option, would you recommend one over another?

I just ended a one year relationship with my partner today. He was diagnosed with BPD in September of 2022. I tried everything to help him but in the end it seems he wouldn’t help himself. In august of ‘22 he violently attacked me, gave me a black eye and bruised me up pretty bad. I had to call the police on him and he ended up in jail. He at the time was being treated for what we believe was a wrong diagnosis, of which he was being given medications that had irritability and anger as side effects.
I agreed to stick by him if he got help, of which he did. He attended an inpatient program for two weeks, followed by four weeks in an outpatient program. During his inpatient program it was determined that he was misdiagnosed and the diagnosis of BPD was given, his medications were changed and DBT therapy was introduced. During the outpatient program things got better.
However after outpatient had ended he ceased practicing the skills and tools he gained during outpatient and things regressed. They were minor blowups with the occasional physical violence but it was much more restrained. As time passed little things began to trigger outbreaks, mostly verbal assaults. Granted a few were physical and many a conversation occurred and minor adjustments were made to medications.
Then for several months things were ok, he seemed to have everything under control, outbursts were rare and short lived. I understand that outbursts are extremely difficult to control at times and minor ones I was willing to work thru.
However a few weeks ago things began to escalate, no violence, but the duration and frequency of outburst increased. We again talked and he even decided to talk to our pastor on his own accord, and things were looking up.
This week I had a business trip come up, and thankfully my company allowed me to bring him along. It was a great trip, I got to work, but also spend time with him on the companies dime. We got back yesterday and we were exhausted. This morning we got up and he had a pinched nerve in his neck causing severe pain, something we found out about after I took him to the doctor.
When we got back he became upset over me not eating breakfast, and that I wasn’t taking care of myself. I honestly wasn’t hungry at the time, and needed to get back to work I work from home). He baca me more and more upset and began calling me names and saying some very hateful things.
I was under pressure from work to get things done and didn’t have the time to talk and said that we need to reset (That was a code word he came up with) to cool dow, so we could talk after I finished what I had postponed for work to take him to the doctors.
He got more upset and began to use more hurtful words. Until he said ok, fine I’ll make you coffee and wait till your finished, how long will that be? I didn’t know and tried to explain I didn’t know. That’s when he became enraged and threw the coffee on me, burning my chest and soaking my work laptop.
I got pissed and started yelling at him, my chest burning from the fresh cup of coffee he had just made, I said it’s over and that you need to get out. He instantly switched to remorse and I’m sorry and, baby no. I threatened to call the police or I would get him an Uber to go back to the mental health inpatient program. I told him that we were done and he couldn’t come back because I’m tired of being abused physically and emotionally.
I feel bad because I know he has an illness, but at the same time he wouldn’t work on himself to change things.
Am I justified in my actions? Is there any hope if he doesn’t put the effort to make the change?
Honestly I’m heartbroken, I love him but I can’t continue being abused.
What do I do?

Can anyone please advice?

Have a few 12x24 tiles (4-5) that I ended up with too much lippage on. How much work effort would it be to pull a handful out and reset? Have a overhead light that accentuates the trouble spots more, without it on only a few spots are noticeable.
Also have wedi system, not sure if that will make it harder or not?

So I heard about how amazing GCam 8.8 is so I decided to try it. I found out that my P7 running the march update is only using GCam 8.7 (it said so in the app version) so I thought why not side load an apk? So I got the APK from apkmirror and installed it but now my camera instantly crashes to homescreen without any error and since it's a system app, I cant uninstall or roll back. Side loading GCam 8.7 results in an invalid package error too.
So did I screw myself and have to do a factory reset?

My windows update has been broken for quite a while after a hardware change (been reusing an MBR install but I have a UEFI mobo now). Diablo IV beta forces me to finally update my windows so I did some digging to see if I can fix this without a fresh install. I went through tons of old info to get it working again and thought I'd share this to maybe get some more modern info out there.

Usually comes with: Failed to check whether host has UEFI disk layout.
Probably means you need to create an efi partition on your primary disk
This fix is already catalogued in this reddit thread, but was hard for me to find as a top google result, so I'm including it here. You might have to shrink a partition to make room for the efi partition.
Once you complete the fix, you're likely to get error 0x80070002
ON ERROR 0x80070002
This requires a BCD rebuild. The top google result is this lifewire page, but out of date for EFI systems.
Most importantly, take note of your detected windows installation drive.
The article is still good, but I would add these 2 points:

1. If you are booting through a recovery USB (much simpler), then you will start in the recovery USB drive (X for me). Once you first run bootrec and find your windows installation, change to the drive of your preferred installation (F for me)
2. The attrib command, after selecting the correct drive in the above step should instead be:

attrib EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD -h -r -s 

After doing this and rebooting, update tools should either work or give you 0x80070490 when using the windows update tool.

As far as I can tell, this relates to first time setup of the windows update ecosystem (just making shit up here, but it was fixed by triggering the first time setup of a new account)
From this microsoft answers thread, you need to do the following:
1: Use your current Admin account (mine was local) to create a new local account with Admin privileges.
2: Log out of your current Account and into the new account with Admin privileges. You will se Win10 setting up the account for the first time. As you get logged in, wait a minute or two, as this was the point where I got the message that some apps have gotten their settings reset.
3: After I got the message I went to the store using the new Account and downloaded a free software just to verify that it was Win Store that was reset, and indeed it was. I got no Issues.
4: Logged out and back into my old Admin account to see if it was solved and i was.
EDIT: this might come up one or two more times while updating. Restarting your computer should fix it each time.

“I refuse to step inside the dark room again. Not after what happened a couple of days ago. At least not yet” I thought, while sitting in my room with the events still fresh in my mind. Before I begin telling you what happened since, I just want to thank you all for the advice in my last post. I honestly didn’t know how to approach this situation but with your guys’ help, I had somewhere to start.

It was the day after the incident. I hadn’t told anyone what happened, but I knew I wanted to talk to Felix. I had so many questions for him. He must know something. While I was at work, I was thinking a lot about the old man that used to live in the house. I realized that this entire time, Felix and I just referred to him as “the guy” or “the old man”. I guess I never cared to know his real name.
I thought that if I knew his name, I could just google him and find some information. Coincidentally, as I was driving home from work, my phone rang. Incoming call from Felix. Just seeing his name on the caller ID screen gave me shivers. The incident in the dark room flashed into my mind and I forgot what I planned on saying to him. I answered one handed and spoke, “hey man, what’s up?”
“Hey John, I’m alright. You doing anything today?”
I replied, “um. No not really. Listen, do you remember that film from the box in the boiler room? I know this is gonna sound crazy but-”
“I need some help at my house again bro. Trying to get this done asap and today’s the only day I’ll be able to work on it until next week”. Felix sounded like he was in a hurry. Before replying, I thought that maybe I could explain the situation better in person. I felt like I’d sound like a lunatic over the phone.
“Yeah, that’s fine. I’ll be there soon. Before you go, I gotta ask you something”.
“Make it fast cause’ I gotta go, man.”
“What’s the name of the guy that used to live in your house?”
“Uh...” Felix paused for a few seconds, “I can’t remember right now. Just be here in an hour or two”.
“WAIT. Wait. Are you at the house right now?” I asked.
“Yes. Why”.
“Can’t you like, check his mailbox for some old mail or something? It’ll say his name there”.
Felix sighed, “Why do you want to know it so bad?”
“I’ll explain it to you later. It’s a long story. Sorry if I’m interrupting you.”
Felix said, “alright, hold on” followed by a loud thud. It sounded like he dropped something.
A moment passed before Felix spoke again. “Okay his name’s Travis Rice. Gotta go now. Let me know when you’re here”.

I got home and made myself dinner before going to Felix. While I was eating, I searched “Travis Rice Obituary” on google on my phone. I scrolled through a few Travis Rice’s until I found one that was from my town. The first thing I saw was his picture. A smiling old white man with gray hair and a wrinkly face. Then I read his obituary.
“Travis Rice. May 1931- July 2022. Mr. Travis was an outstanding member of his community, and a true American”. After reading the rest, I gathered that Travis served in the U.S military during the Korean War in the 1950’s. He has three daughter’s and two sons. His wife had passed away 4 years ago. He did volunteer work even at an old age and even was a teacher for a while. I won’t lie, I did not expect his obituary to be so positive. This whole time in my head I assumed he was some maniac cult leader who never threw away any of his junk.
Once I finished reading, I noticed that there isn’t a cause of death anywhere. I guess some obituaries can choose not to include that.

I arrived at Felix’s house, and it was almost turning into sunset. The trash container Felix had rented was still outside, but it was nearly empty. I wondered if it would get completely full again. The front door was slightly opened, and I let myself in. I walked around the main floor looking for him. The living room didn’t look too bad now that it was empty.
Once I entered the kitchen, I called Felix’s name. “What! I’m here” he replied as he popped out from behind the old fridge. He scared the sh*t out of me. “Jesus Christ... What are you doing there?” I said with my palm on my chest.
“I’m putting the hand truck behind this old fridge. It has to go. This thing smells like a dead person”. He spoke.
“Well, what if there IS a dead person in there?” I said, “Let’s open it”.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you”, Felix said while placing his hand on the fridge door.
“Why not? I just want to see what our guy Travis kept inside”.
“Alright, but don’t open it until I say”. Felix took his hand off the door and walked to the other side of the house. “Go ahead”. I opened the fridge door slowly and peaked through. No light bulb turned on so I couldn’t see inside. I opened it halfway and an incredibly foul odor hit my nose and I almost threw up. There wasn’t a dead body chopped up into small pieces, but there was a half empty bottle of expired milk, expired steak, cheese, and other stuff that was probably there for at least a year.
As soon as I slammed the door shut Felix started walking back. “Ha! See, I told you I wouldn’t do that. Next time just listen to me. Come on, let’s put this thing outside”.
Felix and I continued to clean the house. I really wanted to explain the dark room incident to him, but the entire time I was thinking, “how do I say this without sounding like I’m insane?” I concluded that there just wasn’t a way to say it without sounding crazy, so I just did it.
“Hold on, Felix. Let’s pause for a minute. I have to tell you something”.
“Okay, what?”
“Remember those two rolls of film that I showed you the last time we were cleaning this house?”
“The ones from the box downstairs?”
“Yeah. Here’s the thing. I really need you to just believe everything I say, okay? Even if it sounds super ridiculous. Everything I am going to tell you is one hundred percent real. I swear I am NOT lying.”
“Okay, okay, John just tell me. Look, I’ll believe it if I believe it-”
“IT’S TRUE... Alright, whatever, I’m just gonna start. So, the day after I found the film, I went to develop it in my university’s dark room. I- I heard and felt something. It wasn’t human. It- it was like some kind of beast-”
“What did it look like?”
“I DON’T KNOW. I was unrolling the film in complete darkness. I didn’t see what it looked like”.
“Why would you do it in the dark, though?” Felix asked. I was getting frustrated because I didn’t feel like explaining the process of developing film.
“BECAUSE- BECAUSE there can’t be any light in the first step, only the rest of the process. I only heard its footsteps. It blew strong blows of air on me anytime I moved. I thought it was going to attack me, but I turned the lights on just in time”.
Felix just stood there looking me dead in the eye, confused as ever. “What the hell are you talking about?” I lowered my head into a face palm and sighed deeply.
“I mean, seriously, what are you on, man? You think you summoned a demon or something?” He said. “So, did you even get to develop the film anyway, or what?”
“No” I said, “I was too freaked out. I just put the film in its canister and left it in a drawer. I swear I’m telling the truth. I just wanted to see if you knew anything about it”.
“Yeah, no, I have no idea what you’re talking about. So, is that it? Are you done with this whole picture's thing?”
I replied, “Well, I don’t want to relive that experience. At the same time though, I really want to know what those pictures look like. If I’m going back to the dark room to finish, I at least want to take someone with me”. We looked at each other for a few seconds.
“...Let me guess, you want me to go with you?” Felix asked. “Yes. I do”. I spoke.
Felix took a breath, “... I mean, I guess since you’re helping me clean this place up I might as well. It’ll have to wait though. I won’t have time until next week”.
“That’s fine” I said, “I can wait”.

Fast forward to Monday. Felix and I agreed to meet in front of my university in the morning. We walked together towards the art department. We went up the elevator and walked down the end of the hall to where the dark room was. Being in front of that room again was so unnerving. I almost didn’t even want to step inside anymore.
Noticing my hesitation, Felix moved past me and entered the dark room, and I followed.
I had my phone flash again as I quickly switched the light on. I did not want it to be dark again. Thankfully, the next steps in developing the film could be done with the lights on. Felix was standing with his arms crossed.
“Alright, so now what?” he asked. I replied, “I have to set up all of the chemicals and then take the canister out of the drawer that I left it in”.
“Don’t you want me to help with anything?” he asked.
“No, you’re mainly here so that I’m not alone”.
I set up the chemicals as it said in my notes. Pre-soak, developer, hypo-clear, Photo-Flo etc. They were all lined up in beakers in the sink. Then, I went to the drawer that I left the canister with film in. It was still there. I brought it over the sink where the chemicals were ready.
“Here goes” I said out loud. Felix moved from the corner of the room to a few feet away from me. I poured the first solution in, agitated the canister for its required time, and then poured it out. I repeated this step for each chemical solution. Nothing bad had happened yet. The lights were on, Felix was watching over me, things were good.
“So how do I get this demon to show up? Should I turn the lights off?” Felix chuckled. I shook my head and rolled my eyes. If only he knew what I experienced that day.
Fast forward now to the last step of the process. I just had to take the film out of the hurricane film washer and put it to dry.
I took it out and unrolled it. As soon as I stretched it out, my eyes went directly onto the film. “FINALLY,” I thought, “I can finally see what these damn PICTURES ARE”. I held the film up to the fluorescent ceiling light and the negatives were visible now. They were tiny, black and white, but I couldn’t tell what the pictures were of.
The negatives on the film were so unrecognizable. After a few seconds of me trying to figure out what I was looking at, I decided I needed to bring out the light box. A light box is a box that shines white light at the top. Film is placed on top of the light box, and it lets you see the pictures clearly.
"Hold this. Don’t touch the strip of negatives, just hold the top part”. I handed Felix the unrolled film while I looked for the light box. I found it in a cabinet and grabbed it. I then set it on a station and plugged it to the wall. I flipped it on, and it shined brightly.
“Okay, let me see the film” I said to Felix.
“What the hell am I supposed to be seeing?” I looked over and saw he was trying to look at the negatives using the same ceiling light I was using.
“Dude, just give it to me so we can see them on the light box”. He handed the film to me. This was it.
I placed the beginning of the film on the light box, and it showed the first few pictures clearly.
FIRST PICTURE: The first picture was taken from the inside of a house. You could see out the window where there is nothing but trees.
SECOND PICTURE: A landscape of a small lake. A bird is hovering over the water.
THIRD PICTURE: A blurry unexposed shot of a stack of books.
Half of the pictures were like this. Just normal boring pictures of random stuff. “You made it seem like we’d see something cool or crazy. These are just boring ass pictures, man,” said Felix.
I was pretty disappointed so far. I almost wanted to just stop and start cleaning up. Until about the sixteenth picture.
SIXTEENTH PICTURE: A picture of a forest. Many tall trees were in the picture plane. The trees in the center were a different shade than the rest. Seems like it was taken at night, and the photographer was using a flashlight.
“Hey, what’s that there?” I whispered. “What?” asked Felix. In picture number sixteen there was a figure in between the trees. It was hard to see but I thought I saw a silhouette of something humanoid.
SEVENTEENTH PICTURE: This picture was similar to the last, except now, that figure was closer to the camera. I could see a more distinct shape. It definitely wasn’t human. It had an animal shape with a long neck.
“What is that? A horse?” said Felix. I started sweating.
EIGHTEENTH PICTURE: Now the creature was CLOSER. It was an animal or beast. I’ve never seen a creature like it before. It showed its side profile. Its body still hidden behind the trees. The creature was about 15 feet away from the camera. We could see its face. The head was shaped like a goat and horse at the same time.
“What is this thing? Do you know what animal that is?” I turned to Felix. He was wide mouthed now. More disturbed and shocked than I was. “Felix?”
“... I uh... I think we should stop looking now,” he said nervously. I was taken aback. Why would we stop now?
“...Are you okay Felix? What’s wrong?”
He didn’t respond. I continued looking.
NINETEENTH PICTURE: The creature was IN THE AIR. The ENTIRE body was visible, and it took up the whole picture plane. It had claws for hands that were stretched out. Its legs had hooves and its body was long. On each side of its body were long blurry blobs. They looked like wings, but its motion was blurred. It had no pupils in its eyes and its mouth was opened disturbingly wide.
“WH- WHAT IS THIS?” I yelled. Before I could keep moving the film to see the next picture, I felt a hard shove and I fell to the ground. Felix was standing over me with a shocked and worried face. He snatched the film off the light box and started crumpling it.
“FELIX WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR. Wha- what are you DOING!” I yelled at him.
“No one was supposed to know...” he said softly while looking at me dead in the eyes.
“...Know what??” I questioned. He started walking toward me. I was freaked out and discomforted and I kept scooting back while on the floor. Felix put his hand on the table nearest to him and picked up a pair of scissors. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING???” I screamed.
He was only a foot away from me before all the lights suddenly went out and it was completely dark. I felt like I had just died but I heard a familiar noise.
*HUFF*
“What the hell?” Felix’s voice said in front of me.
*HUFF* *HUFF*
“No... God. Please, no,” I thought, with tears in my eyes. The ground started to shake rhythmically.
“WHO'S THERE?” Felix yelled out. I heard things cling and clang as they started to fall to the floor.
*HUFF*
I was still sitting on the floor. I looked up. The only thing I saw in the void of black darkness was two red dots.
“JOHN. WHERE THE F*CK ARE YOU”. I heard shuffling. “WHAT THE F*CK?!”
The two red dots went up, then swiftly dragged down and I heard a disturbing *CRUNCH*. Felix let out a blood curdling scream. What followed was a mix of crunching, Felix’s crying and screaming, and more things falling to the floor. All I could see was those two red dots moving violently around the darkness.
And then, Felix stopped screaming. All I could hear was the gnashing of teeth. I thought that I was next. My adrenaline kicked in and I made a dash for the light switch. The floor shook as I ran. Thank the stars, I flipped them on. I looked behind me. There wasn’t anyone with me anymore. Felix was nowhere to be seen. On the floor where he was standing was the crumpled up roll of film.
I stood there in silence for at least a half hour, not knowing what to do. The crumpled up film was in my hand. I uncrumpled the film and put it back on the light box.
NINETEENTH PICTURE: The creature was once again far away from the camera but still in the air.
TWENTIETH PICTURE: A wide shot picture of the forest. Seems like the photographer got out of the forest.
TWENTYFIRST PICTURE: A picture of a house. Likely the same house as the first.
TWENTYSECOND PICTURE: A closer picture of the house. A silhouette was peeking out from the side of the house.
TWENTYTHIRD PICTURE: A zoomed in picture of the silhouette. It’s a person. I can’t see their face.
TWENTYFOURTH PICTURE: A man is standing next to the house. I recognized his face immediately. It was Felix.

So here's the story:
I'm an 18 years old boy, I had a girlfriend for about half a year more or less, and got really attached to her. Last November she dumped me in a very cold way saying she "doesn't love me anymore" you know, the usual...
Anyway, the week leading to the break up was the most anxious I've ever been in my life, couldn't get her out of my mind at all, all I was thinking about was her. Honestly, I feel kind of disqusted that I got too attached, I knew that this level of obbsessive thinking was terrible for my mental being, so after the breakup I promised myself I'd work on my mental health so this level of attached - obssesive thinking won't happen to the same level again.
So I cut off contact with her.. (as much as I could because we are in the same friend group plus I go to work in the same area that she works so sometimes I get to see her on the bus the way to work.) But I never sent her a message post break up and never showed any intention of wanting to talk to her, even though, without admitting it to myself or anyone, I still want to talk to her.. After cutting off contact, I started meditating, going to the gym for the first time in my life, and overall improving every aspect I could of my mental health, physical health, and looks.
So you are probably wondering, "what's the issue? You started improving yourself that's a great thing!" And you'd be right, I'm extremely proud of myself for actually doing something to improve my life instead of just sitting there crying to myself at night. (Not that this hasn't happened too...) But the problem is my motivation of all that self improvement, I came to the conclusion that I'm doing all those good things to eventually prove her she was wrong to leave me, that I am "better" in a sense. That was/is my goal, and I HATE that.
More than 4 months has passed since the break up and I've learnt about every little detail that I think that I did wrong in the relationship (I'm aware that I did things that were wrong, it's my first serious relationship so of course I'd mess up in some parts, and I'm aware of every thing wrong that she did, but I'm not giving her the benefit of the doubt and I've learnt from my mistakes overall so those mistakes won't happen in the future. I believe I'm a much better and improved person and I strive to get better and be a better person each and every day (:
Well I just realised that I'm writing way too much, it's time I'd get to the point and tell you why I decided to write this post... I just, no matter what I do, can't get completely over her. I'm aware that this is a proccess and that this isn't just a straight line, there are ups and downs. But I can't keep thinking that I'm totally over her, not thinking about her at all, only to find myself the next day with this awful "heart" pain feeling like something's missing in my life. I literally think she is ugly and can't get over her.
Anyways, I was the best i'd ever been in terms of getting over her this last week, haven't really thought about her, and kinda thought about different girls which is amazing. some of that is because I haven't seen her in a long time, But today, I went out with my friends, suddenly they invited her too, it's not so surprising since she is part of the group and I don't really have a problem with seeing her since I kind of have too. But each and every time I see her is like the proccess of healing resets. But today was a great day with my friends actually, I had fun and after a long proccess of working out to be healthy and look more buffed and less skinny I finally got really nice comments of my friends noticing my change, they were throwing at me compliments of how I look buffed and that they notice my chest is looking real good. I was extremely happy, it's something that I worked on for a long time and it finally pays off, and... she got to hear those comments too.. But even though today was nothing but great, after feeling good about those compliments I suddenly felt bad, because SHE was in the picture... Whenever I see her after a long time, no matter how much progress I get of moving on and working on myself, I end up feeling extremely sad. It's irritating me, last time I had to deal with a break up of a relationship that lasted only a MONTH, it took me more than a year to finally get over that relationship, I just feel like I'm broken and I can't get over people. I'm suddenly think about illogical scenarios that 90% didnt happen like she was cheating on me or some bullshit like that, and I get upset over thoae scenarios even though it doesnt really change anything even if it was the case, and then I'm getting upset that I'm upset becasue I promised myself to get better with my mental health. It feels like a never-ending cicle of me getting over her, and then meeting her again only to find out that I'm not over her.
I guess that I'm the most upset that I don't know what she truly feels about me, I don't mean romantically, that ship has sailed, and not even as a friend, I don't plan on being that too. I just feel bad that it feels like I am the only one that cares at all, I feel bad because I feel like I was nothing to her, and seeing her each time only reminds me of that fact.
I don't have a slight of an idea of what she thinks about me, I only know that we are both not comfortable with even talking to each other whenever we see each other at the bus. Maybe that's what irrateting me? The fact that I DON'T KNOW?
I have no idea...
All I know that she didn't treat me right, that she didn't deserve me, that I was able to grow and even understand her view, and even though I'm aware she is not good for me, I want to let go but I don't know how.

Got a new ISP and connected my new router to the modem, but get this orange light on the Internet LED and no internet connection when I connect to this network.
I tried resetting my router and modem, but still no internet. My modem shows that there's internet connection, so I suspect it's an issue with how I set up the router.

I recently purchased a new pair of xm4's and I'm having a bit of trouble understanding what's going on. I'm a big fan of sony having every PlayStation and coming from years of using the cheap but pleasant sony xb700.
I can't get the xm4 to sound right. Going from electronic to hardcore, to metal everything sounds slightly metallic or tinny/more distorted than it should. I don't know if these just bring out the audible imperfections of streaming more but metal especially just sounds terrible, less pleasant than my 80 dollar xb700. I used some eq tweaks i got off here/reddit which helped but to no avail. I bought them new on ebay from a seller so I can't really return them as I've now opened them. Do these sound defective? I went from my phone and my ipad, they generally sound the same from both sources. The left ear especially seems problematic. I don't understand how a new pair could be messed up already? Thanks

Brief context: I host a vanilla server for some friends of mine, all wanted to implement a 7-Days-To-Die type event with raids, here I am attempting said event thing.
What I’m trying to do is once the function, event, trigger, thing is started; every seven Minecraft days, on the seventh day, during a specific daytime window, a raid will trigger at the nearby village. The way I’m wanting go about it is this: - Function triggers during time window - announces a raid is about to start - teleports ALL players to village center - (since raids can’t be started externally) apply Bad Omen to one of the players - raid starts

Okay so I got a free quest 2 from a freind, the thing that's wrong with it is quite strange, and this is all I figured out so far:
1: the controller disconnects and connects every 6 - 8 seconds
2: when the controllers do that the tracking stops for like 4 or 5 seconds, but then I'm able to look around for those 2 - 3 seconds.
3: the cameras do not work on this thing and is probably linked with thats happening
4: I can only use the quest once before I cannot see anything and it just black screens till I reset it.
I cannot tell if this is a software issue or a hardware issue, can anyone give me some advice on how to point out if it is or not software based

Hi! I have a Z370 AORUS ULTRA GAMING WIFI-OP and I never used Blueetoth until some days ago, when I bought a wireless headset (Sony WH-XB910N).
The connection is terrible: I need clear line of sight (my head or the thin wood table is enough to complete block the signal), and even with that it lose the signal at ~2m. I've tried with a XBOX One controller with the same results.
The headset and the controller work perfectly when connected to other devices, like a phone (I was able to hear music even when I went to another room, with some walls in between), so I assume it's a issue with the mobo.
The driver I have is 22.160.0.4 (11/08/2022).

Has anyone had any issues with their OUTFINE standing desk. Ordered mine off amazon and got it put together but I keep getting an E-2 error for the anti-collison detection. It shouldn't be detecting any collision and all my wiring checks out fine. It's been a pain trying to find any troubleshooting or fixes online. If anyone has had this same issue, please let me know how you fixed it. Thanks!
P.S Factory reset doesn't fix the issue.

For context this is something Blizz has said they are considering. This quote is from todays 03/23/2023 Dev post. I think they are still talking about a SR deranking and not a MMR deranking, so it will still be a cosmetic reset. We also do not know what ui changes they have planned, the seasonal SR reset caused a lot of confusion seeing a deranked account in a higher SR game.
These changes could be geared towards a wider audience?
Do people actual like having their SR reset?
How could Blizzard make this work so it does not feel pointless and just cosmetic?

Fairly new to Chase reserve cards but to keep it short - I have a Reserve opened up in October and my wife has her Reserve opened up in February. How can we get the travel credit reset dates in the same month for easier travel planning in the future?
