if you're experiencing random disconnect issues with the Logitech G PRO racing wheel, this may be helpful to you.
I'm posting this because I want to help other unlucky people (here or others googling the issue) to avoid frustration I had to experience.
I was having serious disconnect issues when using Logitech G PRO wheel on my PS5. I couldn't play in any meaningful way from day one due to frequent disconnects ruining the fun. So I thought that I must've received a malfunctioning unit. I opened a support ticked and after multiple days of troubleshooting and many back and forth messages with the Logi support and support from Logitech members active at GTPlanet.com they RMA the wheel and sent me a replacement. The second wheel arrived 17 days later, counted from the day I received the 1st unit. Unfortunately the very same behavior was observed with the second unit as well. So I started much deeper investigation and could find the cause after many days of troubleshooting.

Long story short, the issue is related to the HDMI link with the TV.
Issue reproducibility: 100%
User cases: 2 users (GT Planet forum)
TVs used: Samsung QE65QN95AATXXH (2021), Samsung QN65Q70AAFXZA (2021),
Consoles tested: PS5 disc version (2020 launch model), PS5 digital version (2022 model), PS4 Pro (2016 model)
Once the TV HDMI link is established with the console, the disconnect issues arise with 100% certainty. The nature of the disconnect events is completely random, sometimes they arise within seconds, minutes, sometimes the wheel stays operational for more than an hour. The pattern is completely random. The issue can be 100% reproduced even when the TV's power supply cord is pulled from the wall outlet. As long as there is just the physical HDMI connection with the TV, the issues will continue to manifest.
Issue manifestation: Wheel randomly disconnects after a random amount of time.
Most of the time the wheel enters a re-bootable locked-up state, showing just an infinite startup animation. Rebooting is possible via holding the power button down and pressing it again.
Sometimes the wheel stays in a permanent locked-up state, completely unresponsive to all user inputs, with only two possible user actions:

1. pulling the power cord from the outlet, which may or may not help, there's still a possibility that the wheel would enter the permanent locked-up state as soon as the power is supplied.
   
2. removing the HDMI link with the TV via physical separation, works every time 100%, mind you, this will not restore the wheel functionality, but will unlock the wheel to a new somewhat locked-up state showing the starting animation, but it's now at least re-bootable via the power button. https://youtu.be/TMKO_SPFeVI
   

We can safely assume that the HDMI of the console is working 100% as the issue could be reproduced on 3 different consoles, the only common feature being the HDMI link with the TV.
Linking the console with different HDMI devices such as A/V receiver (DENON AVR-X1700H Black) will not cause the issue, and the issues could not be observed even after many hours of continuous testing. However as soon as the TV HDMI link is introduced into the A/V chain (regardless of order of devices, PS5 to AVR to TV, or PS5 to TV to AVR) the issues will arise. Changing any HDMI related user accessible setting in the TV will NOT affect the issue. The issue arises, even when the TV has no power. The only 100% working solution is to physically separate the HDMI connection to the TV.
This lets me assume that the culprit is only the TV's HDMI board. Now, I'm not saying that the TV is faulty, certainly not, the TV has been operating without any issues since day one.
The USB and HDMI are somehow related. Looking up the pinout diagram reveals that they both share +5V DC output voltage. Source of the voltage is the console, the voltage is being output via USB and HDMI to all linked devices. According to the online sources: HDMI source (in our case the console) is able to power up with the +5V the sink's DCC bus (in our case the sink can be either the AVR or TV) in order to be able to read information about the device even if the device itself has no supplied power via its own power supply. Which explains why we can observe the disconnects even when the TV's power supply is off.
As mentioned, the order of the devices in the AV chain does not matter, the +5V voltage from the console's HDMI propagates through the AVR's HDMI switch to the TV HDMI board as long as there's just the physical connection, even if indirect one.
The Samsung TV model does seem to be doing something "special", perhaps generating weird signals, or signal disruptions, let's call it a "rogue signal". This signal arises randomly, propagates through the whole HDMI chain, back to the console, affecting the USB communication in the process.
Simple USB devices do not seem to be affected by the "rogue signal", different USB mass storages, etc. all seem to be working just fine. Even the more advanced one, like the Fanatec Wheel does not seem to be affected as we have successfully tested Fanatec Wheel for 3 days without manifesting a single similar disconnect issue. The Fanatec does seem to handle these "rogue signals" more robustly, keeping the device working uninterruptedly.
At this point it's safe to assume that the issue can be reproduced on the Samsung TV's, perhaps only models introduced in 2021?
As you can see this issue definitely taints the PRO wheel's name, as I'm 100%, there are and will be many other users experiencing similar issues as hinted by Polyphony's "unresolved issue" list regarding the wheel disconnects.
Recommendations: Reproduce the issue immediately and learn the nature of it. 1. Source the same TV, and more TV samples from Samsung and perhaps even other manufacturers, retest if the issue can be reproduced with other TV brands 2. Issue a firmware fix, if the identified problem can be solved just a by a simple software update 3. If necessary, carry out a revision of the affected electronics, remedying the issue completely
As for me personally, I would definitely welcome it if the issue could be solved by the firmware update only. I do want to keep the wheel but it makes my situation quite difficult. I can keep playing GT7 with PSVR2 only, that's perfectly fine and actually I prefer it that way, BUT in order to keep the wheel operating without disconnects I have to physically disconnect the TV's HDMI connector from the AV chain, and while this is just a minor annoyance, it still represents a problem in long term as it will wear down the HDMI port. Other options are to buy a new TV, but is this really a solution? Definitely not, I paid 2K for the TV set, barely had it for 2 years and buying a new TV so soon just to fix the problem with the wheel is an expensive proposition. As mentioned, I hope that the issue can be solved as soon as possible via a simple firmware update, or at worst, if a PCB board revision is necessary, by repairing the fault under warranty in the coming months. I certainly hope that Logitech will exhaust all options and try to resolve this issue and not sweep it under the rug, just hoping that the return rate will be low.

Is anyone else dealing with a black screen bug? I just started getting it while playing ranked last night. When I would die it'd black screen for a bit then finally load me back in. I had experienced such a delightful dream, however, reality has once again dealt me a harsh blow. My parents' endeavors to provide for our household are meager, and residing in a cramped and dilapidated cottage, I was awakened to prepare for my daily labor.
I am Dante, a 16-year-old boy, residing with my two younger sisters and one younger brother, and both of my parents, in the rural outskirts of Castle Combe, England. The year is 1827. Our family is impoverished, subsisting on the brink of destitution in our humble abode, relying on the proceeds of my father's fishing and the limited bread we can afford through the labor that both my father and I undertake.
As the eldest, I have always shouldered the responsibility of caring for my siblings.
My father is a fisherman and also toils in the same factory as I. We are the primary sources of income for our household, while my mother, suffering from a debilitating condition, oversees the children, and manages to prepare meals and attend to the basic needs of my siblings.
As I groggily extricated myself from my bed, my father, attired in his work attire, wore a perpetual expression of gravity, his black hair tied in a brown cord, his gaze fixed upon me...
"Are you gonna sit there and watch me? Get up!"
I had not realized it, but my body felt as if it were on the brink of collapse. The rigors of labor have taken their toll on me. Six days every week. I felt so fatigued...
"Father, I am not feeling well..."
My father's anger was immediately aroused upon hearing my despairing words. He approached me, seized my emaciated arm, and dragged me from my bed. As I fell to the ground, my head began to spin.
I remained with my head resting on the floor, my father's shouts ringing in my ears.
"Get up or else you will be sleeping in the woods again!"
My mother attempted to placate him, but to no avail, he pushed her away. I ponder what has caused this sudden change in him.
We once lived in a slightly larger cottage, but unfortunately, the land on which it stood was requisitioned to build the factory where my father and I now labor. We were evicted and spent months as homeless individuals, until fate smiled upon us and we discovered this small cottage, which now serves as our home. Sadly, it came with a grueling and perilous lifestyle. It has been five years since we were evicted, the factory was completed two years later. Shortly thereafter, boy children living below the poverty line aged 13 or older were conscripted to work at the factory.
We are viewed as mere expendable laborers, and who can blame them, they hold the power. And where else can we go, we are of no use to anyone other than as manual laborers. None of us have any formal education either. It is a lamentable state of affairs.
I have been employed at the factory for over three years now.
My vision began to blur, but I mustered the strength to hoist myself upright and don my work clothes. It still pains me to see how my father has become so abusive in recent years. I often ponder, "I strive to the best of my ability to not disappoint my family, yet I am treated in this manner. Why...?"
I only had the opportunity to imbibe a small amount of water before my father ushered me out of the cottage, and I had yet to bid farewell to my sisters.
"Don't make me go late, son. You will be dead if we are."
I am surprised that I am able to remain upright, without the support of my father, I fear I would have succumbed to collapse. I can only pray that someone will display benevolence and provide me with something to relieve my grogginess or any other means to achieve the same end.

Upon our arrival at the factory, a cutting-edge knife manufacturing facility established by a benevolent organization, I had formed a few acquaintances. Among them, one individual stood out to me. I had never disclosed my domestic plight to him, yet he seemed to be cognizant of it. He consistently made efforts to look after me.
He exuded an air of jubilance, and like myself, he was of humble means. Despite the harsh winter weather, he persistently wore his work clothes, a sight that caused me much sorrow as I knew he did not possess a coat. As a result, I had resolved to save a minuscule amount of money, with the intention of purchasing him a modest but durable coat when winter arrived. Fortunately, it is currently autumn. His name is Thomas.
My colleagues and friends often likened Thomas and I to the Sun and Moon, with Thomas being the embodiment of brightness and myself being the embodiment of melancholy. I cannot fault them for this perception, as I do possess a penchant for a melancholic disposition. I had even considered cutting my long black hair in an attempt to alter their perception, despite my personal inclination towards it.
My role at the factory primarily involved honing the knives crafted by the older workers. The task could become quite arduous as we were not provided with gloves and were required to perform our duties with bare hands. The heat was a constant affliction, but one becomes accustomed to it over time.
My father and I would separate after signing in at the administration room. I would proceed to my designated work area, while my father would depart. Thomas, however, would always await me in the administration room, at the opposite end of the hallway.
"Top of the morning Dante! Had a good sleep?"
(As boisterous as ever... A perfect substitute for a cup of coffee, his energy alone is invigorating...)
"Yes, I've been okay."
Thomas approached me and ruffled my hair, (great. Now it's disheveled again...)
"Lookin a little pale today mate, you sure you're... okay...?"
He forgot I was with my father, as I mentioned earlier, it seemed as if he were privy to my domestic circumstances. He raised his gaze and saw my father glaring at him.
"Good morning mister Porter! Let's make it a good day today alright!"
He attempted to greet him cheerfully, only for my father to leave an awkward silence as he walked away without a word.
My other friends arrived as well, we were a group of four individuals. We had all met each other at the inception of the factory. I could say that we had grown quite close to one another, even my reticent self had warmed up to them, it was a pleasant feeling to say the least.
Me, Thomas, Okabe, and Gabriel. Okabe's parents were foreigners, hailing from the distant country of Japan. However, Okabe had been born here.
He was not well-versed in the customs of his motherland. He and Gabriel possessed a more relaxed disposition. Both of them were not as impoverished as Thomas and I, yet were still of modest means to be working at the factory. They both had the opportunity to attend school, a privilege that I envied. I am certain Thomas did as well.
Gabriel was the tallest among us, he also possessed the most striking visage. It was sometimes difficult to reconcile that he lived a life of poverty. He possessed all the desirable attributes, with his beautiful short-cropped blonde hair, hazel blue eyes, and well-proportioned physique.
Okabe was the shortest among us, he also commonly donned his work clothes, almost as frequently as Thomas did. He often bore a relaxed expression on his face and was never reticent to engage in conversation. He bore a visible scar on the right side of his face, and he would become hostile whenever anyone inquired about it.
Thomas was our jester, it still befuddled me how he and the others were able to maintain such a positive disposition. I would constantly observe them at the workplace, and it was astounding to me that they were able to laugh and jest while we worked. Thomas was almost as tall as Gabriel, he had freckles on his face, green eyes, and ginger hair color. He often had his hair tied back.
Then, there was me. Compared to my contemporaries, I appeared to be the most unwell. I donned larger-sized garments to obscure my gaunt physique. Though I was unable to conceal my emaciated visage from the others, it was a small price to pay. My dark brown eyes did not lend themselves to an appearance of vitality.
"You sick or something? You're looking so pale, did you have breakfast?" Gabriel inquired.
I ignored Gabriel and cast my gaze upon my father, who was already occupied with his work.
"No..."
Gabriel reached into his satchel and procured a substantial piece of cinnamon-sugared bread, which he offered to me.
"Work this down, I also have some water for you. We have some time before we go work anyway."
I was relieved to have something to eat for breakfast, as I had gone nearly two days without sustenance. I was famished...
We engaged in idle chitchat, with Thomas regaling us with his fantastical tales, as was his wont. He frequently related the dreams he had recently experienced.
But all good things must come to an end, and it was time to commence work. Thankfully, it was also a Saturday, so we did not have to labor on Sundays, which was the day I finally got to rest.

We got to take a little breath, for 30 minutes. We sat together at a table outside, and they all brought food with them. However, I did not have anything with me. I surmised that we only had enough food to eat before nightfall, and nothing to bring with us for the day. I should suggest to my father that we should endeavor to go hunting sometime. We live in close proximity to nature, after all.
(Where even is he? Should he not be here...)
I observed my father indulging in a hearty meal of meat and bread with his colleagues. Lucky him...
"What are ya dozing off for Dante?" Thomas queried.
I shrugged it off, shaking my head, it was nothing, I was accustomed to this, anyhow. My friends most likely did not have enough to share, anyhow, so I would let them be.
"Oh, it's nothing, perhaps I did not sleep enough."
To my surprise, Thomas handed me a piece of bread.
"Here ya go, fella! Chomp it down, you bony vessel."
I supposed it was my lucky day, today.
"Thank you."
We continued our banter, and Gabriel made an unusual comment about me.
"Do you guys not think Dante's vocabulary is so different from ours?"
"Oooh, yeah! He talks like those noble squirrels!" Thomas replied.
Even Okabe silently nodded in agreement. Me, being compared to nobility? What a jest.
"Oh please friends."
"Hey, why not go out together tomorrow? Go in the woods, the cities, steal some food for ourselves, ya?" Thomas proposed.
"But tomorrow is resting day, you know that. Stores are most likely closed on Sundays." Okabe responded.
Gabriel insisted on Thomas his idea, "Let's try it okay? We come here at noon, at the front gate. Is that okay?"
We eventually came to an agreement to venture out together the following day. The only issue was our parents...

The day had come to a close. I returned home with my father, it was always a comfort to be reunited with my family, who were all in good health. My mother was engaged in preparing a meal, and my younger brother greeted me with enthusiasm, having evidently missed me greatly.

I assumed my sisters were asleep, but Mother noticed our return. My father had gone to their bedroom, leaving me with Noah and Mother.

She poured me a cup of tea made from simple ingredients like herbs, plants, cinnamon, and sugar. It was the best tea I had ever tasted, and I felt a sense of pure euphoria with my first sip.

"I'm so glad you do. Change into your nightclothes, and let's relax before bed."
I changed and came back downstairs to spend time with my family. My father was engrossed in a book and not inclined to converse with us. Eventually, I retired to my bedchamber, gazing at the beautiful night sky…

As i am very in to Eink devices i was looking forward to Kaleido 3 these days and on Youtube it seems that Good E-Reader is one of the only channels with up-to-date videos about new Eink Devices, which is a good thing i thought.
They released quite a few Videos about Gallery 3 and Kaleido 3 / Kaleido 2 in the past days.
I saw that there are many comments just gone after a short period of time which are mentioning several stuff about that the Videos are most probably faked in a way that gallery 3 looks best and kaleido 3 looks pretty bad.
To clear things up, here are some examples:
Overall there are 2 things you can do to get a better screen quality: 1. The screen brightness and the combination from warm/cold light 2. The "eink center" settings with dark enchanhement, color brightness etc (they using mostly BigMe Devices

directly in the image in the video preview and at 4:30 you can see a picture with a lot of red. In the Kaleido 3 device there is nearly no red as it is very dark, looks more like grey. At 4:47 he is showing the Eink Settings and of course the Gallery 3 Device is set to "Dark Enhancement 0" and the Kaleido 3 device to 10 If i set that value to 10 on my Kaleido 2 device, i dont have any colors left anymore. Of course he is not reducing this value, just increasing it. In the next "test" image at 6:42 the dark enhancement is set to an extreme value of 35 [they seriously think all people are completely stupid it seems] - while the gallery 3 device is still on a recommended value of 0.
At 1:30 and 1:56 its getting really interesting. They using a stupid dark enchantment value of 27 but they are switching from HD mode to Extreme mode on the Kaleido 3 device. In the Extreme Mode the dark enchantment is not working like in HD mode. If you look at the chrome icon at 1:30 (HD) and 1:56 (Extreme) you will see that it looks much much better in "extreme" mode as the colors are not completley destroyed by that studied dark enchantment of 27 - with the correct settings the colors would look way way better in HD mode.

the Kaleido 1 looks even better then kaleido 3 in this video. Funny thing is, that in the old (5 to 11 Month old) Videos of Good E-Reader, when they didnt had any branded Gallery 3 devices, kaleido 3 looks so incredible good and now it looks more black/white then colorful

Overall i think, "Good E-Reader" is planning every step in their videos - they are in eink business a very long time and they know exactly that they using wrong settings.
For me the conclusion with that assumption is, that they doing it on purpose.

They like the people to buy their branded Gallery 3 device and not the Kaleido 3 device.
Hopefully people are not buying this scam videos.

Why are they doing it? Was it always like that with Good E-Reader?

So this started because one of my corsair commanders wasn’t connected, which i realized because 1/2 my fans were running hardware default RGB. Couldn’t figure out why it stopped talking to ICUE because there’s been no problems with it before. Combed the internet to find a wide variety of things people did, I did a ton, one of which being to update the bios to maybe get the usb recognition working better, i’m not sure. But i went into advanced updates on windows (10), there was a bios update. I click yes, it goes through it all, says it’s successful, reboots, goes to a bios window, says complete, then black screen. I have tried rebooting, killing all power, touching pins to make cmos reset, pulling the battery from motherboard, everything. About 1:9 times I can manage to get back into the bios. When I do get into the bios there’s an error it pops up with about the cpu fan speed minimum, which I run a full liquid cooled setup, so i change to ignore fan speed, and that solves that, however when i click the ssd to boot, the first time it did nothing, another time it blue screened, and the most recent time it said windows is diagnosing your pc then windows is attempting to fix your pc, then back to black screen. I’m stuck now, I checked my version of the BIOS and it’s not an up to date version, the things i’ve read about updating the bios are scary with many people getting stuck in this black screen of death. Which I already am. I fear if I load up the updated bios i will open a can of more problems, and would it even solve my problem?

John Wick director wants to "push the colour palette" in Ghost of Tsushima movie adaptation Eurogamer.net
Director Chad Stahelski, who is currently promoting his latest film John Wick: Chapter 4, wants to find a way to "push the colour palette" in the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima movie.
Speaking to DiscussingFilm, the director was asked how he was planning to approach the adaptation of Sucker Punch's samurai epic.
"Ghost of Tsushima is a really interesting story if you really dive into the tale of Jin Sakai and what the film is really about. And you tie him to these amazing visuals," Stahelski replied.
"You can already tell from the John Wick films that I love colour and I love composition. To really try and not only live up to but exceed what the game has done with its visuals is completely fascinating to me."
He continued: "So that's something we're currently researching and working on. Like, how can you push the colour palette? How can you bring that world to life in a very realistic and grounded way?"
Stahelski echoed this comment during a recent John Wick Q&A. The director was asked what he will bring to the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima adaptation, specifically in relation to his experiences working on John Wick.
"With every John Wick, we try to build the world a little bit bigger with the characters and set pieces and lighting," he shared (via IGN).
"Just what we've learned over the past couple years with DI, digital intermediate - the colouring at the end [of production] - and what you can do with new technology and with new Alexa cameras, that's kind of allowed us, hopefully, to take cinematography to the level that Ghost deserves."
He went on: "You can see the purples and pinks, and we can push the colour and highlights about as far as you can push in Chapter 4... So it was a big technological achievement to get the colours that we did in this and to get them to really stick, especially in the theatres you're seeing them in."
All that being said, the director also suggested Ghost of Tsushima's Kurosawa Mode could make a showing in the film. When asked about the possible inclusion of the game's grainy black-and-white filter, Stahelski teased: "It's definitely a conversation."
The upcoming Ghost of Tsushima film is just one of many projects currently in the works with Sony, with Stahelski confirming last year that this adaptation will have "a complete Japanese cast, in Japanese".
He stated this may "scare the shit out of most people", but said Sony is "on board with backing [him] on that".

Sometimes it fully restarts, sometimes it just stays black screened until I turn it off and on again. One weird thing is that I can still hear friends in discord for maybe 20 seconds after it black screens then it'll all go silent.
The PC never fully turns off. I've completely taken it apart and put everything back in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled windows, drivers everything. Stressed tested the PC every result has come up it's all perfect.

When rendering complex scenes in Eevee (Scenes with many different objects), one of the following occurs:

1. On X11: Computer freezes for about 5 seconds before all monitors cut to black. After about 5 seconds on a black screen, the login screen appears and I can log in as normal, as if I logged out. All of the applications have closed.
2. On Wayland: Render finishes rendering, but many of the objects appear broken; they are semi transparent or appear as if they were using the holdout shader. Returning to the viewport causes all objects with transparency to flicker randomly and appear distorted. Occasionally, the desktop of the computer itself will become broken and artifacted, only logging out or restarting fixes it. This usually isn't possible, however, as after a short while everything all displays cut to a black screen. Unlike X11, however, the only way to recover from this is restart the PC by holding down the power button.

This issue only occurs on linux and does not occur on my Windows 10 partition. I have tested it on both Fedora and Arch, and the problem occurs in the exact same way on both.
I have tried:

• Undervolting the GPU and adjusting the GPU Clock, neither of which made any difference. The issue seems to occur regardless of the GPU Clock and power draw.
• Installing AMD HIP and ROCm
• Trying multiple different versions of Blender
• Trying both the Flatpak version of Blender and the DNF/Pacman version, both of which have the exact same issue
• Adjusting processor affinity and the process priority
• Changing the render settings. The issue seems to be independent of the render settings, or even the render time.

Hello - apologies in advance if this is poorly explained (I am new to both SharePoint and Power Automate!)
I have built a simple SharePoint hub to manage projects and associated actions. The hub contains two linked lists - A includes details of ongoing projects and B includes actions associated with said projects. Projects typically have multiple actions and I use a look up from B to A to link to unique project IDs - results are then displayed through PowerBI bringing both projects and associated actions together on one screen.
What I would like to do is create an action on A that allows users to view associated actions without having to exit A, load B and apply filters. Is it possible to create a flow on one list that returns results from another (without generating an email link - ideally the end of the flow would be displaying the filtered results). Similarly, it is possible to use Power Automate to add an action on B through pressing a button on A (pre populating elements of the action, for example project name and ID)?
The reason I don’t have both projects and actions on the same list is I want to be able to report project and action status at an individual level and didn’t want to either have all actions in one row against a project, or repeat the project details in multiple rows so that actions can be displayed individually.

So last night I had a weird dream that a close friend of mine, a nun (idk why) and i were sleeping in the hut next to my house and everything was fine at fist but then weird stuff happened.
