Hello everyone! About a week ago, I just got the sweetest, most mellow little 3 month old Maltipoo named Chloe. I’ve been taking her to get her vaccinations (rabies vaccine next Friday yay!), I’m meeting with a dog boarder tomorrow so I can establish a relationship with someone in case no one in my family can take care of her, and on top of at-home training (she’s so receptive and smart) I’ve found a reputable training school nearby and next month we’ll be going to obedience and behavior classes! We even almost have a relatively consistent schedule.
…Y’all. The anxiety is through the roof. The vet said everything was “very normal” with her but when she sleeps I find myself checking if she’s still breathing. She pooped an hour later than usual.. is she sick? She napped longer today, is she dying? Am I raising a well-mannered dog? I need to have to her meet more dogs soon, I need to introduce her to more people. She’s just chilling there in her crate not sleeping. Is she sad? Does she feel like I’m imprisoning her? She peed here again? Dang it, how did I not spot her? Oh my god we only have like 10-15 years together? How do I give her a good life?

I just finished Shippuden anime but I haven't read the Mangas yet. I looked at some tier lists and just don't understand how these two are ranked so low.
My main reason is because of their most dangerous weapon, reanimation jutsu and the people that they controlled. It just seems like ever tier list pretends like this isn't part of their power. But this exactly what makes them so dangerous. Orochimaru is directly credited for killing the Third, and his greatest weapons were the 1st and 2nd during that battle.
Kabuto should be credited for all the destruction his reanimation did under his control during the war. His threat level is higher than almost everyone in the show except for those who pretty much hit God status.
Reanimation jutsu seems very similar to dead puppet users, and puppets are certainly considered part of users overall strength.
Reanimation jutsu does have potentially dangerous consequences of the dead turning against you and killing you. But many characters have dangerous jutsu that end up hurting themselves or worse.
If Kabuto used his entire lineup, who could stand up to him besides those who attained Sage of Six Paths power? You can even exclude those dead who broke free and the answer probably doesn't change.
I didn't read the Mangas so there could be something I don't quite understand about reanimation jutsu. Feel free to change my mind.

Hello to members of the ftm community. Over the past few days Reddit has made their intentions known regarding 3rd party apps that many of us rely on to browse reddit and moderate these communities.
For those unaware, Reddit has recently announced some significant changes to its API policy. You can read more about it here To summarize:

• Reddit has completely priced out third-party apps by increasing costs and banning ad-supported tiers outright. Using Apollo as a payment example, it would cost nearly [USD $2 million per month] https://www.reddit.com/apolloapp/comments/12ram0f/had_a_few_calls_with_reddit_today_about_the/ to run. If you currently access Reddit through a third-party app, it is very likely that you will no longer be able to do so after July 1st.
• The NSFW API is getting shut down. Soon, the only way to access NSFW content will be through the official App. Even if third-party apps survive the higher costs, they will have significantly cut down access (up to 40% less). This also means that some bots, which rely on cross-subreddit API communication to prevent things like teenagers sharing images on NSFW subreddits, will break entirely.

How it impacts you, and why you should care
Well, the biggest thing is obvious. If you’re currently reading this on a third-party app like RIF, Apollo, or BaconReader, you probably won’t be able to anymore come July 1st. You might have seen popups on the apps themselves alerting you to this. Third-party app creators have all come out to say that the pricing is going to kill their apps - not because they’re against paying but because the pricing is outrageously excessive.
For another reason, official tools for mobile moderation work half-heartedly at best. Many mods on this and other subreddits moderate from mobile, and most often use third-party apps to do their volunteer work. We do this because we often mod from everywhere - on lunch breaks, while on the train, or anywhere we have extra time. By forcing mods to use the ineffective official apps, posts and comments may stay unreviewed for longer, and modmail may go answered as we wait for someone to be on a desktop. Harmful content may stay up longer - or we may be forced to increase our automod filters more extravagantly in order to reduce potential problems proactively. No one likes getting caught in an automod filter, and adding more can take months to hit the right balance.
The effects on NSFW content are also considerable. Many mods working in these communities are seriously concerned that this will hamper their ability to keep Child Sexual Abuse Content and Non-Consensual Intimate Media off their subreddits. Some mods have spent years building and refining bots that will now break and open communities to harm.

My partner lives in the US. I live in Canada. We want to get married but she can not come to Canada because she has schizophrenia and her father has conservatorship over her. He is withholding her money and passport so she can no come. I’ve gone there a number of times but if I keep leaving I am going to lose my job.
If we get married, would I automatically get conservatorship? Or would her dad just stay the conservator?
Also, how do marriages between citizens of the US and Canada work legally? Could I get her Canadian citizenship and then maybe she wouldn’t need a passport? Is it possible to get married virtually?
Are there any other routes you can think of that we could get her to Canada?

My partner (21m) has suspected bpd (borderline personality disorder) and his emotions can be very unstable. We’ve been dating for seven months. He has never gotten mad but he gets really really sad and says things and then switches and starts contradicting everything he has said, which leaves me emotionally exhausted and confused. He will say he wants to die one moment and the next he’s saying he’s getting better, going in circles. These times happen infrequently (maybe four times since we met), but it’s still hard.
He also has a really hard time being alone, so I don’t get any time to process my emotions or regulate myself. He’s quite sensitive as well and I am not, which can be tiring.
A week ago he had a really bad night after things kept piling up and I stayed up until 6am trying to regulate his emotions. That night changed me, it made me see him different. Now every day I worry about having to leave him because it could be the best thing for both of us. He’s working so hard on improving, we’ve had tons of talks and he fully understands everything that happened and has apologized. We have plans on how he can be better, we have amazing communication and he’s doing intensive therapy workbooks. He is making progress, and I have set boundaries like detaching with love where I detach myself from the situation so he can deal with his emotions by himself. My biggest fear is that it won’t be enough and he will be unhealthy for me. He’s the only person I’ve ever fully opened up to, he makes me feel so safe and I can only envision myself with him. When he’s not unstable he’s the best boyfriend in the world, he treats me amazingly and would do anything for me. Every day I’m in so much pain thinking about having to leave him, every second of the day.
He told me that if he doesn’t change and things are still bad for me, I can leave and he won’t have a problem with it. I am giving him a chance to heal and become stable, it’s just a difficult process. I’ve done a lot of research, and couples with BPD can be successful long term, especially if the person recognizes they have issues and are willing to work on themselves. I am giving him a chance because I know he is the only man I will ever love.

I nor my family have any military experiance. My goal is to pursue a career in IT/cybersecurity, yet I am finding it difficult to advance my career in the civilian sector.
I am drawn to the reserves as I want the benefits, I want to find a higher purpose, gain additional experiance and find a more rewarding career.

So I'm rewatching Steins;Gate, and upon getting to episode 15 and 16 noticed some major inconsistences that I can't suspend my disbelief on, because they seem to make no sense. Would someone please help me understand Suzuha's plan about retrieving the IBN-5100 and deleting the record of the first D-mail?
So the way I understand the plan is as follow: SERN learned about Okabe's time leap machine because of the first D-Mail he sent outside the Radio building. SERN's surveillance network picked up on this, and they began monitoring Okabe and friends. This leads to them obtaining Okabe's time machine and perfecting their own, allowing them to control the world. In order to prevent this, Suzuha says she needs to go to 1975 to get the IBN-5100 to allow the 2010 Okabe to hack into SERN and delete the record of the first D-mail that alerts SERN, preventing them from developing their own time machine. I see several major problems with this, listed below.
Problem 1: If all they need to do is prevent SERN from learning about the time machine and making one themselves, why wouldn't Suzuha just prevent Okabe's time machine from being made in the first place? Why not just stop Okabe from even sending the first D-mail, thus preventing ANY time machines from being built? If she's going back to 1975, she should in theory be able to prevent the entire show from ever happening.
Problem 2: Let's ignore problem 1 and accept that they want to delete the d-mail from the database. Why would Suzuha wait to give them the IBN-5100 until August 13th, 2010, after she time traveled back to 1975 (relative to 2010 Okabe)? Why not give it to Okabe as soon as possible, right after the first D-mail is sent? Why wait until the 13th? If she's going back to 1975 she could find him and give it to him way earlier than this.
Problem 3: Why will deleting the first d-mail from SERN's database 2 weeks after it was sent change anything at all? Doesn't SERN already know what Okabe and friends are doing? They've been sending messages to Okabe and plan on raiding the lab that night, right?. Suzuha travels back in time on August 13th, the day Moeka is going to raid the lab. Haven't SERN already picked up on the d-mail? Deleting it now won't do anything, since it would have still existed for 2 weeks prior, right? By August 13th Moeka is already planning on raiding the lab and killing Mayuri.

I have a friend (J) that I use to be close to since we were kids although our friendship isn’t much there due to negativity. She has her boyfriend (B) who has been best friends with my bf (bf) (her bs is ruining their friendship now though). However “J” got her boyfriend “B” by cheating so that’s how “B’s” ex “M” comes in.
Honestly my loyalty is with my bf not “J” “B” or “M”. I don’t want to get involved but I’ve been put in the middle and am not sure what to do.
It’s been over 3 years that “B” left “M” for “J” however during that time they (all 3) remained “friends” for a while (that was weird for everyone) now they are not and “M” makes occasional posts on the topic however both “J” and “B” are blocked so the way they keep finding out is through “J”s family and friends. They know she is a person with extreme anxiety ect and she’s pregnant so I believe they are being stupid with this but whatever. Point is I’ve seen the posts ya one had “J”s name but other then that they are just the flat out truth everything “j” and “b” have already told everyone they know so nothing new and nothing bad honestly but now “J” has informed me one of her family/friends intends on locating where she works and going there to “talk” to her it’s not just gonna be a talk they have been texting “m” and harassing her. And now “j” is also talking about trying to track her work and home down and get a restraining order and defamation of character idk anything legal but I also know that “b” has a gun and “j” has not hesitated to verbally threaten before. Hey y’all! I’m almost finished Sarah of Yellowcrest Manor and I’m about to run the encounter with Lord Villias in the heart of his cult lair. He uses the stat block of a Mage in the Monster Manual. My players have been absolutely steamrollering the encounters in this adventure and I want him to give them a run for their money. How would you run him like a badass? I’m thinking to start with greater invisibility and then use his highest level damaging spells? Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks

I have been shooting the same arrows out of my 43lb longbow for a long time and I feel like they may not be set up optimally. Here are the specs:
Total weight: 470gr FOC: 13.87% 4 fletched 4" parabolic feathers (right helical) 125gr field points
The goal is to finally get into hunting and as a result, I have begun taking my equipment a lot more seriously. One of the biggest issues with this set up is how these arrows seem to drop like a rock and as a string walker, I am topped out at 20 yards.

I don't like calling myself a "survivor", because I don't think what I went through was anywhere near severe enough for me to consider myself that, especially when I look at the countless others that have gone through far worse, but there are those that insist that I am, so I figured I'd ask here.
This happened while I was living in Vegas a while back, when I was 19. I had just gotten off work at about 11 at night, and was waiting at the bus stop, when this dude who is very visibly drunk stumbles by and starts talking to me, asking for help. I don't remember exactly what he was asking, but he did ask me to head a little down the road with him, to where his family was staying. Even then, I knew the situation was very dangerous, but I was exhausted from work, so I wasn't capable of making the best judgement calls at the time. I also knew the area very well, was confident in my ability to fight the guy off if he became violent, and I was (and still kinda am) a bleeding heart when people in that state came to me for help. Vegas buses run fairly often, so I figured why not, and went with him.
I'll skip the unnecessary details, but keep in mind that I am a trans woman. I bring that up because he was very "romantically handsy" with me while we walked down the street; calling me his girlfriend, holding my hand, walking close, that sort of thing. Given his state, I didn't mind it too much, so I humored him and played along, always keeping on edge in case things went south. I didn't expect him to turn my head towards his and kiss me, though. It was certainly a lover's kiss, I'll say that much. I froze in shock for a moment, but began to push away when I felt him getting a little too comfortable with his hands, I'll say. He played it off like it was nothing and continued down the road. I, on the other hand, was definitely still shaken, though I put on my best customer service poker face to try and hide it. I felt violated, for sure, but I had at least stopped him before he went further. I wanted to turn and run back to the bus stop I was at, but I knew I'd feel overwhelmingly guilty about just abandoning him without knowing he's at least someplace safe in his drunken state, so I stayed with him. The next bus stop wasn't too much further anyway, so I carried on. We did stop at a convenience store, and I did tell some of the people there that he was drunk and I didn't know him, and to call Police if he came back this way later and I wasn't with him.
Fast forwarding a little more (the walk took far longer than I'd have liked), and we stopped at a nearby casino parking lot so he could drink the beer he bought from the convenience store, which I did advise was a bad idea but hey, couldn't expect him to listen to reason at the moment. The next bus stop was very close, and the next bus was due to arrive relatively soon, so I leaned against a nearby post for one of the large casino signs you see all over Vegas. I had my phone out, wondering who I could call to make sure both I got home safe, and this guy got the help he needs, when this guy presses against me, pretty much pinning me against the post. He was gentle about it, but it was still enough to catch me off guard. I couldn't understand what he was saying through the slurred speech, but judging by his eyes and where his hands were moving, I had a fairly good idea of what he wanted. Before I could do anything about it, though, two of the casino's parking lot security pulled up on bikes and asked us what we were doing, thinking we were just two overzealous teenagers or something. I distanced myself from the guy and explained the situation, albeit poorly due to my shaking voice and failing façade. They separated us and one of them asked me something while the other one got the drunken man to walk back up the road and away from me. I don't remember what the other guard asked me, as my mind was still reeling from what the actual hell was going on, but he didn't let me leave until the other guy was out of sight. He then asked if I wanted a ride home in one of their cruisers, and I declined. I just walked to the nearby bus stop, just in time to catch my next bus. I texted my mom about it, and she was the first to say that it was definitely assault and a reportable offense but again, I was way too exhausted to make a report about that so late at night. Even moreso after the fact. But I had also heard countless stories of other people who had gone through far worse than that, and I really didn't think it appropriate for my mother to be saying I'd "survived abuse", as she was adamant about. It was wrong, sure, but again, I'd heard far worse stories, and had known people close to me who had it much worse. So, I just filed it away in my mind as another weird Vegas occurrence.
Now, however, the memory keeps resurfacing every now and again, and I wonder if it really was as big a deal as everyone made it out to be - then and now. So I figured I'd make a post here and ask, to at least get some sort of definitive answer.

Looking for anyone that has idea about how to get incandescent light bulbs in the US now that manufacturers are generally banned from producing them in the US.
LEDs give me migraines, and while I've got a little bit of a stock of incandescent bulbs for the time— wondering if anyone has any over-seas sources and/or suggestions for how to possibly legally getting them in in quantities for personal use? (not looking to start any kind of business contrary to the law).
Not looking for a big debate on LEDs here... I'm just not a fan because I don't like headaches. Just looking for anyone that has similar issues that might have come up with long term solutions.

My girlfriend and I are opening up our relationship, and it’s been pretty hard on both of us for different reasons. I’m trying for both of us.. for her, because I love her more than anyone I’ve ever loved, and she doesn’t feel that monogamy is right for her.. and for me, because I’d like to be a more secure and less codependent person.
I love the concepts behind poly and how it can potentially make you stronger, but I’m currently struggling a lot with jealousy and insecurity.
