Is anyone planning on going to the Crandon, WI show on September 1st?
It’s odd because it was reported that it was being added to the tour on local news stations, and I see mention of it on the official KISS Twitter, but nothing on their website, and no presale links for KISS Army members or anything. I can’t even find any mention on Ticketmaster or Livenation’s websites. Someone on Twitter posted that there were rumors of a presale on Thursday but nothing concrete. Looks like public tickets go on sale Friday.
Does anyone know anything about a presale or where the tickets are actually going on sale?

Bell should be ashamed of how they treat seniors.
An 80+ relative has been charged $30/month since 2021 for a landline that has never been used (the bell records do not go beyond Oct/21).
He is being charged almost $250/month for: skinny basic, mobile without data, a giant internet package and a land line which is never used.
After an hour of discussion, it was plain and clear that deceptive sales practices conned this 80 year old to pay $21 to get a $25 credit.
I escalated the matter to loyalty that clarified all sorts of shady sales practices and confusing offerings.
I was escalated beyond to another group (case management?) Where the woman was ridiculously condescending ("the Internet is like a car and the bandwidth is like gas"). No senior citizen should be subjected to such bullshittery.
The best part is that her "final offer" was more than the prior loyalty offering.
A gong show of diversity not at all focused on the end user.
I mentioned that my crtc complaint will wrack up some lawyer bills but they just DO NOT CARE. The idea I was not negotiating with them further seemed welcome.
Shareholders beware of this business model. Fair markets would have eliminated this nonsense decades ago but hoorah CRTC for employing the otherwise unemployable.

It really doesn't make much sense that Naruto goes on numerous missions to face the akatsuki when they want to hunt him down and extract the nine tails from him. Tsunade really should have grounded Naruto from any missions having to do with them. Her forcing Naruto to remain in the leaf instead of allowing him to go on dangerous missions relating to the akatsuki would have been more in character for her. And while I imagine Naruto wouldn't have been ok with this, wanting to recklessly risk his life regardless, Tsunade still should've remained firm. Which honestly would have made for an interesting character conflict between the two. With them having heated passionate debates about whether sitting him out is the right call along with Naruto attempting to escape the village and Tsunade's anbu surveillance of him numerous times.
But while this is all well and good in terms of things making more sense in universe, the consequence from a meta perspective is that Naruto wouldn't get to play a major role in each arc despite the series being about him. However, I don't think this is as big a problem as it seems. In fact I think had the series gone this route Shippuden would have been much better.
Each arc could have had a side character serve as the main character. Giving much needed screen time to flesh out Naruto's supporting cast. The series even did this a few times during shippuden as seen with Shikamaru during the Akatsuki Suppression Mission arc, Sasuke during the Fated Battle Between Brothers arc, and Jiraiya during the Tale of Jiraiya the Gallant arc. In fact, I would argue that those arcs are the strongest ones in shippuden (excluding Pain's Assault arc).
Following this idea, Sakura could have been the main character during the Kazekage Rescue Mission. After all, Sakura already kind of was the main character during that arc. Developing the antidote, defeating Sasori, and uncovering the intel needed to locate Sasuke and push that plotline forward. So why not full send it and make her the focal point. Continuing on with this idea, why not have Itachi be the main character of the Itachi Pursuit Mission arc. Seeing his pov in order to better understand the operations of the akatsuki as well as get hints of Itachi's true nature as we follow him and Kisame through the entire process of an akatsuki duo locating and capturing a jinchuuriki. Idk, sounds pretty cool to me.
That's not to say Naruto would be on the sidelines forever. He would eventually return as the main pov during Pain's Assault arc when he trains to become a sage and avenge Jiraiya. But idk, allowing him to just be in the background for a bit until the time is ripe feels more organic with what the series had set up prior. I know he's the main character, but a lot of the times the way he was written into arcs felt really unnatural and illogical with how the world had been established. Like the plot was bending over backward to try and include him despite it really not making much sense for him to be there considering the circumstances of him being the nine tails jinchuuriki.
Oh and just to clarify, that's not to say we just wouldn't see him until the Pain arc. Rather its just that he wouldn't be doing missions. We'd still check back in with him and what he was up to in the leaf village. Training hard to keep his mind off how frustrated he was, occasionally having arguments with Tsunade about whether she was doing the right thing, and sometimes even trying to escape to help his friends with their missions. But he just wouldn't be in situations where he was fighting the akatsuki since it really doesn't make any sense for Tsunade to allow him to be so reckless.

I have a pivot table that displays volume for this year and last year or a particular product group and product package. I'm working with sales mixes so these values are displayed as a percent of the parent total. I would like to create a 3rd column that displays the change. To give some context, 7 cases are shipped of a particular product package within a package group (10 is the parent sub total for the group) , so it would have a 70% sales mix. Same thing with last year sales mix. So if I have a 70% sales mix this year and a 60% sales mix last year, I need a calculated field the gives me the change i.e. 10%. If I try to use a calculated field, I can calculate the change in volume but not the change in mix (% of parent total). I have tried getpivotdata to store the subtotals outside of the pivot table, but the problem is I have a filter by product group and retailer, so its not dynamic.
Looking for guidance to fix the problem or go about it in a different way. I'd be happy to elaborate more if need be. Thanks

So we have 3 Cats, all adults, my wife wants to purchase a Automatic self-cleaning Cat Litter Box, its 600$ but on sale for 400$. Has anyone used these with multiple cats? Does it work well, and it is worth the $$?

In the past 20 years or so, the line between pro, prosumer, and hobbyist level gear has been blurred. Those terms don’t even have meaning, anymore (and it’s debatable if they even had merit in the first place in the bigger picture). We’re currently in some crazy future fantasy where even the cheapest of gear is actually quite good with regards to tech specs and capability, and if you put up the curtain, it’s actually quite difficult to differentiate the cheap from expensive in blind tests. Several brands that started off as super affordable have slowly been upping their game, but the discussion here is about brands that have incidentally managed to go “backwards” with regards to brand perception.
My submission for this topic, is Focusrite.

Success through high volume sales is apparently a double-edged sword.
Focusrite ISA series preamps have Rupert Neve lineage, and although he only designed the ISA110 as far as I know, everything based on that is still using his general design. Something something transformers, but put simply, ISA series is not some cheap shit— excellent preamps.
Focusrite used to make a bunch of channel strips and random whatever on the edge of prosumer whatever, but one of their notable releases was the Red 3 compressor. Despite the backwards ratio knob, it’s just solid through and through- “high end” as fuck. If you only know of their interfaces, you’d never know that they made such quality gear, unless you’re a bit older. Weird how that works out. They had some other pieces of quality gear, but I haven’t used them.
What are some other brands that used to be seen as “high quality” but are now seen as more lower end?

I’ve worked in higher ed combined for about 3 years, a little over 2 years as an Academic Advisor for a for profit school & currently at a nonprofit school working as an Financial Aid Advisor for a little over a year. I work remotely in my current role & at the last job it was initially on site & transitioned to temporarily remote bc of COVID. As an Academic Advisor I hated being held accountable for students failing or not being responsive considering they’re grown adults & shouldn’t have to be handheld for every little thing plus I didn’t like mgmt & I know the feeling was mutual. Now as an Financial Aid Advisor I prefer mgmt/my team as a whole so far & don’t feel micromanaged (at least not as much as my last job). At my last job I started at $17.78 (FL) & right before I left they raised us to $20. I was eager to leave knowing I’d be expected to return to the office permanently after COVID. I make $18 atm & in July I’ll get my annual raise (4%). This role is remote, better benefits & a 401k but I feel like I make less bc of benefit deductions. The job is a call center & is always busy, while the other job was also like a call center but not as non-stop. While I prefer the culture here I can’t ignore the fact I made more at the last job. Am I looking for reasons to nitpick or making a good point? I’m looking for work actively but no luck, it’s like ugh you can’t have it all

He's someone who's poised to become an unrestricted free agent. Not next year but the year after, we all know there's new ownership coming in. That'll bring with it various management complications, et cetera. What is the latest with Alex DeBrincat?
Elliotte: You know what that writing that story was like, Jeff, I knew what what it's like for Batman to go up against the Riddler. Everyone was speaking in codes. They're like, well, you've got to find out but they're exploring what to do and things like that. Basically, it was a euphemism of, they're probably going to trade him. You have to be careful, because you know, there's always a chance that they don't buy. There certainly appears to be a feeling around the league that's much more likely to bring it's gonna get traded than not. And, you know, to be fair, there were some people who said to me, there's no chance he's re-signing there, but I had some other people say, don't go there because they think that you know, some of those guys really want to try to convince him to stay because they think he could be a real important part of their team for a long time. But the bottom line is, and I completely understand this from DeBrincat's point of view is he's not signing until he understands for at least for long term, until he understands who the new owner is going to be and what the plan is. And we're not going to know that anytime soon like even if one group suddenly gets okay, you have the right to negotiate to make the sale. It's still going to take two or three months to sort that out. So, Ottawa has made it very clear they at least to have have to have an idea of who's interested by the draft at the end of the month. So you know, they're doing their work there and I think there is interest like for to break it to be tons of interest.
Marek: With that release, I look at DeBrincat and I say on a team that played the way that the Chicago Blackhawks used to play and that is that strong heavy possession game, hold on to the puck and you know, get it to the net, just shoot it whenever it's on your blade, as opposed to a dump and chase team, you know, fetch and catch. I think DeBricnat just sings on any team, the ones that hold the puck as much as possible. I mean, choose your team around the NHL that's like that. I think the DeBrincat would be an outstanding addition. There'll be huge interest.
Elliotte: Absolutely. And like I'll say this, I don't know that this is where he's gonna end up going. But there's a lot of focus on those, like central area teams like, well I shouldn't say that because Detroit's not in the central but they're central ish. We'll call them that, central ish. Like Detroit St. Louis. Like, I had one guy say to me that that's a Doug Armstrong player. Like that's a guy that Doug Armstrong would want. So those are some of the teams that people are kind of focusing on but obviously I think there's a ton of interest

Elliotte: Yeah, that's absolutely true. But the hurricanes to me seem like the kind of team that would rent him for a year. I don't know that they would sign him to what he's going to get in the free agent market.

The dog I am dog sitting is doing this more often, he didn't use to do it, but more comfortable he goes out for walks he really attacks the walls and floor. The elevator to the door of my unit is maybe 100 feet and he does it in some specific locations. My apartment is very populated with dogs so I'm not sure if he is just marking his scent and making himself know. He is a English Bully.
