So after a couple of days of research and considerations, I drafted my first build, and want your opinions, here's the background info:

• It's my first time building a PC so please assume I know nothing
• I play games but mostly titles that came out more than a year ago (and I plan to upgrade my GPU after at least 2 generations (because both Nvidia and AMD are bad in this gen), I also occasionally do creative work and want to play with local AI image generators. I don't want RGB in my build.
• I currently live in Canada so the components will be bought from the Canadian Amazon and Best Buy

Here are my build draft for now:

Here are my questions:

• The most important question is, are all these parts compatible with each other? (including physical sizes, dimensions, etc.) Is a mid-tower PC case big enough for future upgrade to a flagship GPU?
• Am I supposed to buy anything else besides what's listed above? (e.g. power cord, connector cables, other small things, etc.)
• Any comment, suggestions or opinions you have? what are your thoughts about my draft build?

Hi, I'm completely new to building pcs and I've found parts that I think I would like in my first one. Does anyone have any recommendations for any parts that I should swap out? I'd like to keep my budget around $1300-$1500. Thanks.

I bought 2 GiGabyte RTX 4080 Gaming OC cards from amazon.es for my 2 sons new pcs and had them delivered to my country with international shipping. Overall it cost 2720 euros for both cards and the international shipping. They advertised it on the product page by saying get Diablo IV with purchace of the card but i didnt press to read the terms and conditions. I contacted amazon for the codes and they refused to send me any since the cards were not delivered to a spanish address so i was not eligible for the codes and even if they had been delivered to a spanish address i would only be allowed one code per order. This is pure marketing trick to get people to buy more overpriced cards and give them nothing in return. Amazon customer service was rude and asked me to contact Gigabyte or Nvidia to claim codes on my own. Gigabyte and NVIDiA asked me to claim codes from amazon. Its a mess. Is there anyway i can claim these codes for my boys? Can someone help? Or if anyone here has any Diablo IV codes that they dont want would you be so kind and message me?

Selling my 2020 Razer Blade 15 in. It is in great condition and works with zero issues. Been using it for a year and haven't encountered any problems. Upgrading to a newer Blade though so decided to sell this one. The charging block is a bit scuffed up though.

I'm looking for an RTX A4500, bit of a less common card than its A4000/5000 brethren, but I'm hoping someone may have one for sale. I'd love an A5000, but trying to keep the price more reasonable, hence the A4500.

Wondering about this build if it’s not a scam, motherboard seemed to be made by Gigabyte so I guess not terrible? If I was going to build one I would ideally want a tower in that Handsome Thermaltake Core P3 Pro which when built out would be the same price but I haven’t built a pc in years.

First: What do you think of the build?; For quality 1080p gaming, maybe 1440p in the future if I get a better monitor. Games like: Diablo 4, CP77, Hogwarts Legacy, Heavily Modded Games, Future AAA titles, some MMOs. Had a budget of around $1200-1500 in mind but was aiming for lower end of that.
Second: What Tips/Advice/Warnings/etc. do you have for me as I go into this build?; As a first time PC builder who will be starting the build next weekend with his dad for Father’s Day (My dad is a long time PC gamer and works in IT field so he has some knowledge and experience to help me with it and is excited… however it has been many, many years since has built me or himself a PC)
Context: Upgrading from my old system which I think was a i3 or i5 something and 1050 Ti that did me good for several years but hasn’t been able to run newer games at an enjoyable performance rate. Decided to go with a fresh new build for the experience of building it (especially with my dad), and in hopes of a cheaper total price, and for more customization, and yadayadayada yeah pre-builts are bad anyways I settled on this setup. Luckily I had a Microcenter nearby and got a package deal on the CPU, MOBO, & RAM. Originally I was thinking of going with a Zotec RTX 3060 OC 8GB card but swapped to the RX 6700 XT 12GB which I think was a good move as it is a big performance difference for an extra $40 and since the system is only for gaming I’m not privy to the pricier nvidia GPUs that I hear are better for “work” or other PC uses. I’m still pretty open to suggestions on the build as I could easily go back and return/swap any parts if something is really off or there is something arguably much better around the same price. Currently have all parts at home waiting to be assembled but I’m traveling for work this week plus my dad is pretty busy as well so again I plan to start by Father’s Day weekend.

I am asking the subreddit for the best Android app that supports low latency and controller support for streaming games from my Desktop. From what I remember, I was under the assumption that I could use Nvidia's Geforce Now to stream my desktop to my tablet but I don't think it is possible anymore.
I would use Nvidia's desktops to stream the game but I want to play Diablo 4 (not available on Nvidia's cloud gaming library) and my desktop and internet are capable.

Recently I have been wanting to upgrade my GPU in order to gain some performance in 1440p gaming. I have a relatively old Alienware Aurora R6 with the relevant specifications listed below.

32GB DDR4 2400 MHz (lol slow vs today's standards)
4TB Samsung Pro SSD
So far this system has ran flawlessly for me and I have had zero issues. Very pleased with my purchase of many years ago. (This was my 3rd Alienware and have had great luck with their systems)
For the most part I play very low GPU intensive games so I've never really had an issue with my 1080, but lately I have noticed that I'm slacking in some modern titles.
It really comes down to me spending more money and just custom building my own PC, or purchasing a new GPU for my current one. I am open to both options but if feasible I'd prefer to just upgrade what I have and save the money.
Recently I ordered a Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX 6600XT 8gb GPU. I found a killer deal online, but was unable to ever make the system boot with this card. I'm thinking It may have been a BIOS issue? I updated the BIOS with no luck. So I ended up returning the card.
I've done some online research and am considering the RTX 3070Ti for a second upgrade attempt.
The card should fit into my current case and my power supply should be more than adequate to handle the card. Is there any other compatibility issues that I should look for? There isn't a ton of info out there regarding Alienware motherboards.
Any feedback regarding my decision would be much appreciated.

So I'm looking for a job and once hired my main goal is to build a PC for VR and Gaming. I mostly use VR Chat to improve my Social Anxiety and it helps allot. I have a question. Will these specs work wonders if I'm on a budget plan? I'm saving and buying my parts one at a time for each month. I hope that's a good idea. I miss playing VR Chat. Might consider buying a new Quest while I'm at it. Hope someone can tell me if these specs are good enough for VR Chat with out the lag. I want to be in a room with allot of people and make friends and improve my social skills etc. Hope this makes sense. I haven't been on VR Chat in over a year since my PC died. R.I.P. Plus I want to build my own world from Dreams I've had etc. And some cool stuff and my own Avatars. Etc. Here is the Specs I want to get.
i7 12700k CPU 32GB Ram 800wat PSU RTX 2070 for 4k and ray tracing. X2 2TB SSD for gaming and mods for now.
I want to max out my settings with lag free stuff. I hope my ram and the 12700k CPU will be fine. I heard you need 12gb for the GPU specs wise on the graphics card to run VR so you don't lag etc. Which makes sense. Because I also plan to get back into Zenith and hopefully Freeland VR if it's ever coming out. I don't keep track of these things. Hoping someone can help me out I can always upgrade later. My budget is around $500-$600.00 with the new GPUs I don't know how much the older RTXs are going for now. Like the 2070 series etc. That should give me all the stuff I need for now until I upgrade later right? It might be mid range but it's better than nothing. And can someone recdomend me some thermal paste and fans to keep VR cool etc? I like my fans quiet so I don't know what to get. Same with the PSU. I hear VR can be power hungry. Especially if set to Ultra. So just curious is all. Should a 2070 be enough especially if it's a 12gb GPU? I heard you need at least 8gb GPU or 12gb GPU for VR. Hi so recently I've been dealing with pretty notable frame stuttering when I play games while playing a YouTube video on my second monitor or when I am running OBS. I've never had this issue until recently and find it especially odd that it happens while watching YouTube videos while running a game because there is not way my computer shouldn't be able to do that with ease 3x over.
