The Main Goal:
Well if you’re browsing this subreddit then much like me, you were alone this weekend and I’m sure you’d like to change that as much as me. I won’t lie, I am going through a rough part of my life right now. It’s difficult for me to find the energy for anything at the moment and I’m just really seeking affection in general, anything that will give me a push. I don’t want to be that person who brings everyone down but I could really use someone to talk to right now. I’d really like to find someone who’s similar to me so much to the point that we do everything together and talk about everything while not having to pretend to be interested. I want someone with whom we can mutually spew our emotions onto and have those feelings reciprocated. Not an emotional punching bag, but an emotional teddy bear to hug and cuddle until everything feels better as many times as we need. There’s people who I’m sure have told you the same, they’ll be there no matter how many times you need the support, no matter how many times the insecurities and bad thoughts come back but they don’t mean it. I will be the exception, I’m not so ignorant to think some nice words and tales of relating to you will magically forever heal whatever ails you then get mad when you seek the same support again. Mental ailments are rarely temporary and I don’t care about someone because they’re perfect, caring about someone means being there no matter how many times they need you to be. It doesn’t feel like a chore, it doesn’t get old, and it never will.

I will upfront let you know if I’m clicking better with someone else or if you’re the one, I’m not here to tread the sea of fish or keep my options open, I’m here for one singular person.

Relationship:
A relationship is difficult for me right now, it’s been nearly half a year since I got out of my last relationship and the reasons for it ending are partially responsible for how I’ve been feeling and why it’s so hard for me to seek the comfort I so desperately crave. I will tell you about it but for the sake of not treating the entirety of the internet as my therapist, it’ll be in private. I really need the comfort of intimacy and the warmth of someone who cares. I'm not going to feel better if I just sulk and don’t move on. This is my attempt to get better, I’ll admit I’m not great right now and I don’t expect you to be either. If we can help each other heal, then I’d be more than happy :) A relationship isn’t just being there for when someone’s at their best. Even if a relationship is hard at the moment, I do want a life partner and I don’t want to be alone. Things aren’t going to get easier without you so I don’t want to hesitate. I view my other as an equal, I don’t like categorizing us into specific roles. We take care of each other and treat each other how we like to be treated, whatever that is, it's as simple as that. I don't care if you're "successful" or not, living simple lives with our days filled with love is the ultimate measure of success to me.

Personality:

On the Surface:
As you can tell I can be rather… stoic but that’s largely due to my current stressors, I truthfully am goofy and fun loving but I just can’t find it in me right now. I want to return to that but without someone to light up my world it’s been difficult to just have fun and enjoy stuff. I’m definitely more introverted, you won’t catch me at any parties or really outside at all. I definitely prefer being home though the occasional outing is not out of the question and one day I’d like to travel to other countries because I think that kind of perspective is important.

The Core of My Being:
I like being a spectator to it all and if we bear witness to humanity burning or its miraculous recovery, I want to watch it with you. I enjoy watching humanity advance, less so when it devolves but I want to watch it to the end nonetheless. I’m both a realist and someone who lives with my head in the clouds dreaming of scenarios or worlds that don’t exist. I’m saying that I enjoy a good narrative and can suspend my disbelief to enjoy something but you won’t catch me refusing vaccines or ignoring blatant facts for the sake of some pseudo science or witch doctor’s remedy. I’m an atheist but I do not rule out existence after death, not because I’m agnostic but because due to the nature of potentially infinite time at some point after how many googol years with a googol amount of 0s after that, something’s bound to replicate your consciousness perfectly at some point. It’s actually a really fascinating topic I like talking about. If infinite time and infinite possibilities exist, does non existence exist? Though that’s an awfully existentially dreadful thought process considering the ramifications of infinite existence and infinite possibilities during said infinite existence. I would say I’m confidently left leaning and I don’t think I could truly get along with anyone right leaning, at least America’s definition of right leaning. Left and right seems to have just become; do people deserve to suffer or do they deserve to live good lives? Being political is not something I expected to become but how can you not be when crimes against human rights are being passed on a daily basis and at the end of the day, everything’s political. Oftentimes I imagine the perfect moment as relaxing with my significant other playing games or cuddling in a cold room under blankets.
I value that special someone above all of the existential thoughts, the bad of the world, the good of the world, they practically become my world. So many worries wash away when I’m with them. I don’t know if that’s the defense mechanism my brain created to not feel bad 24/7 but if it is, I’m currently without it.

Insecurities:
I talk of philosophy and politics here but really I spend most of my time just playing games, watching stuff, and trying to not be sleep deprived. I’m also nowhere near as well spoken, heck sometimes I feel like my speech is broken. I won’t claim to be something I’m not, I sit at home while I complain about the world doing nothing about it wishing I had someone here with me. I’m not noble nor do I really want to be, I have morals I uphold but much like most other hypocrites I acknowledge that my comfortable life is built on the suffering of others without doing anything about it. Why? My sleep problems? Am I depressed? Is that why I have no energy to do anything? Do I just think nothing I could do could help? I can’t nail it down myself, maybe it’s a mix of everything, maybe I’m just a bad person. I have always told myself that if I had wealth I would help people but if I get that kind of wealth will I just become a wealth hoarder who tries to justify my riches as something I earned rather than something given to me through incredibly lucky circumstances? If I do help people is it because I’m a good person or out of guilt? Will I die alone? I feel like I drive everyone away with my clinginess, I get paranoid often and need reassurance often. It’s something I want to work on, something I’ve been trying to work on. Hearing that someone cares about me just never gets old. I value self awareness even if it’s painful.

Socializing:
I’m definitely a socially anxious/awkward mess, especially around strangers. I do feel a large amount of anxiety in public, people can’t tell by looking at my face since I kind of go stone faced in an attempt to block everything out but yeah you’ll notice that if we go out in public. Growing up my pediatrician said I was probably autistic, never got a formal diagnosis so that’s just great. But yeah that explains why I can’t make eye contact with people, I kinda just stare at the ground and avoid their gaze at all costs. A lot of these social struggles go away to a great degree once I know you for a bit but yeah I apologize for how terrible I am at socializing at first. Don’t let my social struggles fool you though, I love cuddling and being close with my person.

Sexuality:
I am a heterosexual male, though I’m not very masculine like at all. I may even be a bit feminine sometimes. Not that I believe any activity or manner of acting belongs to a gender but I don’t know how else to describe it. I’m definitely super affectionate and love it when my partner is too. I am open to dating demi people but I do have a libido so I don't think asexual would work out.

Video Games:
As stated before, I do spend a lot of my time playing video games. It’s been hard lately with me having no energy but I really do want to play more games and have a good time playing them with you! I primarily play on PC though I do have a switch. I’m primarily into platform fighters, roguelikes, open world, survival, and sandbox games. As for single player story games, I enjoy watching them through twitch or youtube but for the most part I don’t play them myself. I’d watch you play them though!

Whatever you want to play I’ll give it a shot! I will say that League bores me to death but I’ll play it for you :) I try to avoid MMOs, not because I don’t like them but because of how addicted I can get to them. I enjoy learning games in-depth so MMOs can be a fast track to addiction.
I recently got Kerbal Space Program 2 and ehhh not really worth it right now but hopefully later it will be? I’m super excited for Tears of the Kingdom! In the far off future I’m excited for Rivals of Aether 2 which is a platform fighter releasing in 2024, let me know of your most anticipated releases and I’ll see if I could play them with you!
Also I never got into FPS games but I could totally see myself playing like CoD with you or Escape From Tarkov. Any FPS really, I’m down.
I am a fan of Pokemon but with how things have been lately I don’t know how long that will last. Pixelmon is a common Pokemon mod I play for Minecraft if you want to play that! Also if I say I want to play something with you I mean it but there are often times when no matter how much I want to I'm just drained and can do little more than lay in bed so please don't think I'm making an excuse.

Science:
I really enjoy keeping up with the latest advances in pretty much everything, it could be biology, technology, astronomy, anything! I love seeing progression and I love talking about it! Really I could go on and on about what I’m obsessing about that day. I particularly love technology, ask me for my laptop specs I dare you. When I was little I always wanted to be a scientist of any kind but then insomnia and fear of college stuff hit me like a truck aaaand that’s the end of that dream.

I’m not going to go on and on about the tiniest little things when the main ones are covered but I’ll watch pretty much any show with you and anything really. I like random youtube videos that explain some kind of lore or mystery, sometimes mini documentaries too.
As for food I looove sushi and I’m a sucker for fast food. Okay and candy, definitely candy.
I used to play tennis but haven’t really had the opportunity nor friends to play it with and I’m way too socially anxious to seek it out. Also I will say that when we move to something like discord I type waaaay more casually. I’m not going to expect long paragraphs back and forth like we’re writing English papers for each other, I do enjoy long conversations but seriously don’t worry about having to put the utmost effort into every response, I just like making good first impressions I guess.

My Physical Characteristics:
I’m 5’8 (172cm), 128 pounds (58kg), with curly brown hair and blue eyes. I like keeping my hair long in the winter and cutting it in the summer. I’m pretty slim in general so if you’re looking for someone large, that’s not me. I don’t work out but my work is pretty physical so at least I’m not totally inactive. I don’t have the urge to work out or gain muscle but I do want to maintain my slim figure so if I start losing control of that I’ll work out. I like to keep my face shaved because I don’t think I look good with a beard/mustache so if you’re into those I apologize. I have an average amount of body hair? I’d prefer to be completely shaved but it’s easy to lose motivation with that battle, if you prefer shaved then I’d have no problem complying. My Physical Preferences:
Having physical preferences makes me feel shallow, if I could make myself not have them I would but unfortunately that’s now how that works. I don’t care if you’re shorter or taller than me and I don’t care if you weigh more or less than me. All I ask is that you’re slim-average weight. I would never ask for someone to be something I’m not. I don’t care about tattoos or piercings.**(6)Expectations of You (Relationship Only):**I am not looking for someone “exciting” or someone to “keep me on my toes” I’m not looking for someone to cater to my every whim or anything like that. I don’t care if you’re “boring” or if you aren’t “successful”. I know it’s a common thing for people to not want a “boring” relationship and to seek something argumentative or something with constant challenges but I just want to be with you. During the exciting times, the boring times, and everything in-between, all of it will be great with you! Maybe we do argue sometimes or maybe there will be challenges but that will never be something I purposefully seek out and I don’t want that to be something you seek out either. I will not play tricks on you and I will not play mind games, I expect the same from you. We all have personal measures of success we may or may not have lived up to but what I care about most is our commitment to each other. If we have each other we can get through tough times, near the ends of our lives I want us to look back and feel that this life together was worth more than anything. That’s not saying I want us to be haphazard, I don’t want us to make poor decisions for the sake of yolo and I want us to always be rational, especially with each other. I want you to be someone I can trust to make decisions and weigh the options with a level head, I’ll try my best to live up to the same for you. Most of all I want empathy, understanding, someone to feel the utmost comfort and trust in.

Living Situation:
Currently my life is pretty relaxed, I work 3 times a week as a night shift stocker. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my roommate but we’re looking to move into someplace larger by the end of the year if everything works out. The internet is weirdly great for Ohio too like I have fiber and later this year we’re supposed to be getting dedicated fiber so that’s neat. I’m not attached to Ohio so the ultimate goal living location wise is probably moving to a country that won’t send you into a lifetime of dealing with the repercussions from one medical emergency.

Well you made it, I was thinking that finding someone I’d be willing to put a lifetime of effort into at least required this much effort. If I think of anything more I’ll update the post. Also about timezones, it really doesn’t matter where in the world you are. I don’t have a sleep schedule and I have most of the week off from work so it really doesn’t matter.
I request that in your response you do put effort into it, it doesn’t have to be anywhere near as long as this but at least enough so I know that you read this and enough about you so I know why you saw potential compatibility. I will seriously read all of it and respond the best I can. I've made posts before and I'm going to do my closing thoughts for anyone to read if they want. This game does a lot right, the monsters, the maps, the audio, and the graphics are all fantastic. These parts of the game make me want to come back and main it because it looks and sounds so cool. But the over arching issues with the game just make it unfun. Im going to list all the things good and bad with the game for the devs to read. This is a person's perspective who's high rated in many fps (imm3 in val, gm2 in ow2, dia 1 in apex a while back) who also solo queues in those games just like i solo in this game. All the games I mentioned are all different types of fps, but all have reasons to keep you coming back where this game doesnt. Before you get mad at me THIS IS MY OPINION, you can disagree but no rage comments pls.
  1. The games questing and atmosphere is what keeps me coming back. The questing isn't interesting really, but its nice to end the day doing missions in a cool sci-fi shooter.
  2. All the guns are cool, they can be tweaked and more could be added, but all the guns fit their unique niche
  3. Solo, duo, and trio queue were great additions as well as mmr matchmaking. There's just not enough people playing to make it all flow like it's designed to.
  4. Now to the bad, the movement. Out of all the fps I play, this game feels the clunkiest. To simply move behind cover quickly, one has to do a slide jump because the walking speed is awful. You can't strafe properly in a fight meaning aim isn't even really a requirement in close range as everyone basically stands still shooting each other. This also means whoever gets the first shot or has the better gun (in a straight up fight) usually just outright wins. This is bad as the skillfloor is incredibly low in terms of how much aim is required. This also makes ratting exceptionally strong over every other playstyle.
  5. The risk. The risk in this game is honestly comparable to playing ranked games in other fps. There's a fear of losing something, either items or ranked points, and the feeling i get when fighting someone with a lot of loot or when fighting for my rank up games is very similar. I don't think the risk of losing items is what keeps people away, it's the feeling (at least in solos) thay you can't reasonably keep your items unless you play very slow and have luck on your side. In other games, teammates are a part of the luck factor in ranking up (which is also frustrating) but not at the detriment of forcing you into a boring playstyle. It's also frustrating to lose all your items to someone who simply sits in a corner and shoots you when you walk by. In other games, you can rat but there's either multiple rounds to adapt to this sneaky playstyle in other fps (if you die to a rat in this game your SOL) and/or the games also give you the tools to sniff these players out.
  6. Because of the aforementioned points, ratting is a real struggle in solos. As a result, no one brings in good gear usually. People can say ratting isn't an issue, but when the playerbase barely brings in blue gear in solos, that means everyone knows you can't reasonably defend your loot enough to always want to bring in your good kits. I could see not bringing your good gear if you're not playing your best, but when the general solo queue playerbase knows that bringing in good kits isn't advised the majority of the time... well we know luck is too much involved in surviving such a punishing game.
  7. The ttk. I actually think the ttk isn't too bad honestly, armor gives you a reasonable bump in survivability compared to each other. The real issue is just that you can't really FEEL the ttk because the movement is awful and ratting is prevalent. This games ttk for a lot of weapons is similar to apex, yet feels faster because people move like slugs in this game. It's hard to 1 clip people in apex, in this game it's incredibly easy even with the same ttk. As a result, a white geared rat needing a full second to kill you doesn't matter because his dumbass was hiding in a corner as you passed by and you have no way to dodge his bullets. This is a problem.
  8. The maps are designed for ratting, especially tharis. There's tons of corners and sometimes downright map design you can tell was made so a dude could tuck into a corner and kill someone walking by. There's no utility to clear corners and as a result you have to dry peek tons of angles. In a tac fps, a dry peek(a peek where you dont use any of your utility to make the peek easier) is a mistake because you're giving someone who is hard holding an angle an advantage over you as when you peek you have no idea where they are. The defenders flick is small, but the attackers flick might need to be massive depending on the defenders angle. Someone who has played tac fps might know what I'm saying here I hope. In any case, the games design makes it frustrating.
  9. All this culminates into a hard-core yet extremely unfair pvp experience, which is a bad combo. The most massive pvp shooters always try to keep everyone in a reasonably equal playing field. And in games where they don't, usually dying isn't as punishing. Or in other words, if the gsme mode has ranked, usually there's a strong emphasis on fair play as there's risk in losing your rank. This game both punishes you hard for dying like a ranked game yet makes the playing field unfair.
  10. Lastly, this game isn't tarkov. The cycle isn't the first in the genre to do this type of gsmeplay and to properly compete with a game who has a chokehold on a genre, you have to be different. This game is simply not different enough from tarkov in how it plays mechanically to warrant the thousands of people who've played tarkov to quit to play this game. It's like wow clones with shiny new graphics and similar gsmeplay expecting to compete with wow... they cant, and you cant compete with tarkov either this way.
  11. Before new extraction shooters come out, the cycle has a unique opportunity to shape the genre. There's not really much competition yet and the one thing many fps players like is fast and fair gameplay. So I urge the cycle developers to really think how they can make the cycle it's own unique game in the extraction shooter space. How can this game be different? My opinion is make movement fast and fluid, add in the old tech/abilities you had from the original cycle and then some, and lastly counteract cheaters and ratting. If you don't, im pretty positive marathon is going to do all ive said and wipe this game off the face of the earth.
This post is Hella long, but I really like the ideas with the game. Hopefully this game can improve before competition comes that really shuts down the possibility for this game to grow.

Look, all I'm saying is if there are some talented modders out there, I am the kind of guy who would love to see a multiplayer mode for Star Fox 64. I grew up on that game, and always wished I could play it with friends.
I know it would be stressful having to incorporate 2 to 4 different Arwings on the screen, but honestly, I think it would be okay. You couldn't have the player's play on the same screen unfortunately. Speeding up, slowing down and doing somersaults would desync your position on-screen, so the only option is splitscreen. I feel like this, however, changes for a couple of the boss fights themselves. Most of said boss encounters do make an important unconscious point of saying "we need you to stay this specific range away from this guy" to make it work, regardless of speed. Otherwise, splitscreen just works for everything. On rails, all range mode, etc.
There could be a friendly-fire mode to toggle, but whether that's possible or not idk. The Arwings colliding with each other would be like how they would with water on the rail shooting segments - a nice little bounce off. Thinking of Area 6, the big bad does a big ol' laser that you have to hide in the corners of the screen for, if two people go to the same corner, I can imagine one gets stuck and f*'d by that big ol' laser, but ALSO this is a callback to how these sections do need to be on rails, same screen and maybe even make it so the screen expands a bit further to adjust for the co-op.
The most important part: IMMERSION. When a character does something or is getting chased, the voice lines play. We all have the "TAKE CARE OF THE GUY BEHIND ME FOX" PTSD... I think. Since I, not a modder or tech-wiz, do NOT know how these things happen in game, I can't help in this regard. Fox would have to be a mandatory choice of character, and I say that because I would love to have Falco, Slippy or Peppy be my pilot, but then that would imply there's either a port priority system, or you would have to mod a character select screen for it. When those characters are programmed to do something on-screen, like when Falco shows us the secret in Corneria's waterfall, would he have a scripted on screen maneuver for his character? Like how Fox ventures into the opening on Venom for Andross? Or would it be possible to ignore that and just delete the interaction, but still play the voice line? There's a huge gray area with how this would work (clearly) but I believe the latter would work just fine. The prior would be SICK and can have a whole camera angle thing going on too, but that's just a dream tbh, and not necessary whatsoever.
Completion of sections can be marked with everyone, but I specifically mean things like going through the doughnuts to get to Corneria's waterfall can be done by whoever's first. If they fail, everyone fails, and the same applies to the sentry sensors on Zoness. Multiplayer is VS would be totally amazing. I don't know what it is, but i think it would especially fit with VS. A few ideas would for example be extra puzzles or something like that, only made for 2 players to solve, for example pressure plates that need to be pressed (similar to the bat country ones). I wouldn't even mind another DLC that enables multiplayer with another map or something, cus i defenitly would pay even more for this amazing game!

Hi there Games,
My name is Adam and for the last two years I've been drinking too much coffee and energy drinks. But as result, I am about to launch Tower of Chaos, a game that combines auto battler, rogue-lite and allows players to fully explore procedurally generated levels set in a universe combining sci-fi and fantasy.
So, why auto battler? I have been playing TFT. A lot. I got a little bit tired of playing multiplayer, though and I was looking for a fantasy singe-player options in the genre. There are some, but I also wanted to have more story and gameplay outside battles to make up for the lack of playing with others.
And mixed with HoMM? The role of buildings, resource gathering and strategic take on exploration was something that I hope brings some fresh to the auto battler genre, and it's modernized with a rogue-lite formula (there are 4 levels of the tower, headquarters and lots of meta progression).
Tower of Chaos launches May 29th in Early Access, with first 2 hours of the game available as a free demo - hopefully a fair amount of gameplay that will make you easy to decide whether it us up to your alley.

Activities in GTA 6 and GTA Online 2
GTA has had some pretty good side activities that ranged from pretty fun to absolutely terrible. However, here are some side activities that I believe can be pretty fun in GTA 6 and Online 2. Note that some of these will appear due to the setting, but many probably won't. This is just a fun little list.
Golf:
A pair of golfers playing some golf.
Golf should return from GTA V, and like in GTA V, it should play somewhat the same. However, one thing that should appear is a golf tournament. In GTA 6 and Online 2, golf tournaments are a type of competition (either between NPCs or players) that allows you to play against said NPCs and players, and be able to pass through the competition, gaining a reward in the end. The max payout (which includes various factors) is around $2 million dollars. This allows players to gain an easy amount of money, guaranteed they manage to win, as well as a personal trophy that they can hang in their apartment.
Hunting:
A Floridian hunter posing over his kill, a wild boar.

Hunting should return from both GTA V and RDR2. Boar, deer, gators, pythons, quails, and turkeys can all be hunted, and even more animals in different parts of the map. In both online and singleplayer, these animals can sell for a decent price and their meat can be used in cooking (if it exists). Rare animals allow you to unlock different tools and cosmetics, such as hats, gator skinned clothing, and weapon skins (like gator skin template).
Amusement Parks:
A parody of Disney World Orlando might be a great way to expand the world.
Same for some water parks in Florida.
Amusement and water parks should make an appearance in GTA 6, although how they would work is pretty uncertain. For one, I doubt there would be children in these parks (due to obvious reasons), but I am also unsure what they would allow the player to do in these waterparks, so this is kind of iffy for me.
Fight Club:
A parody of King of the Streets (an incredibly dangerous fighting promotion) that is hosted underground might be a really fun activity in both single and multiplayer.
Of course, this idea will only work if the fighting mechanics have been expanded upon since RDR2 (or even using the same mechanics). Punches, kicks, takedowns, grappling, and other fighting moves are all allowed here. Not only that, there's two divisions: male and female (meaning that even Lucia can get involved in the action). In online, players can fight each other in either exhibition matches or in tournaments that allow them to gain money and rewards by winning matches. The more you win, the more your popularity increases, allowing you to gain absurd amounts of money, albeit at the cost of more players targeting you for your position.
Gymnasiums:
A fitness system would be very good for GTA 6, as it would allow you to increase both your strength and stamina, as well as being able to make your character look skinner and muscular.
Gymnasiums would be a very neat addition in GTA 6, being a returning addition from GTA San Andreas. Not only that, it would allow GTA 6 to become the most customizable GTA ever, allowing for the player to customize both Jason, Lucia, and maybe even the Online protagonist a lot more.
Gun Ranges:
A gun range in Vice City is pretty much expected (at least I hope so) as long as an Ammu-Nation exists (which it will).
Gun ranged hopefully might make a return to GTA 6, in which you'll be able to either upgrade your shooting skill, or take place in challenges that allow you to either unlock weapons or attachments. This applies to both GTA 6 and Online. Not only that, you can enter a "friendly" competition against both you and another playefriend. This applies to both singleplayer and online (if one protagonist has different shooting levels, then they will be harder in singleplayer).
Racing:

I believe that racing can be further expanded in both single and multiplayer. For singleplayer: Drag races can be initiated by honking your horn next to a tuned out car (yours has to be tuned out as well), and you would race until a certain point (selected by either you or the NPC), and you would race. The rewards vary depending on your and the NPC's demands, and the NPC can either respect the wish and give you it fairly, or they'll lash out and try to attack you (either fight you or shoot you). As for online, adversary modes should return, but they should be tweaked to have some more fun. Maybe some Mario Kart style power-ups alongside some actual changes to ensure that the one with the most skill out of the entire lobby. Not only car races, but also sea races, air races, and a combination of all 3 might be a cool way to further expand Online (as long as they fix most of the issues in GTA V's Online).
TV Shows:

TV shows should make a return to GTA 6, with one discerning return: They are actually updated to ensure that it either follows the story (for crime shows, news, and other programs), or they have an actual plot and are like...well a real TV show. It should do the same as online, but the progress of the TV show depends on how far you are in the story, and it updates simultaneously.
Movie Theater:
The Good Robot (?) in a GTA V movie theater.
Like TV Shows, new movies could release every once in a while, expanding the world with the absolute shitty movies that are coming out nowadays. While it is true that this is not in Los Santos, Vice City still has a prominent movie viewing industry (like most states in the US). Not only that, it may be a good way to see Michael De Santa make a cameo by showcasing some of the films he has been producing.
Gambling Games:
A regular game of roulette on a gambling table.
In some small casinos or even illegal casinos that are only accessible to those who are used to the underground, you can play some gambling games. They could be: Blackjack, Texas Hold Em', Five Card Draw Poker, Baccarat, Roulette, and more if Rockstar wants to add some. Maybe, there could be a possibility of cheating (in singleplayer) with either Lucia or Jason.
Flying School:
A seaplane flying over the ocean, near Miami.
Since its highly unlikely that either Jason or Lucia knows how to fly by default, its possible that a flight school in GTA 6 is very likely to appear. Not only that, it may allow the player to learn flying maneuvers, dogfighting strategies, and other things relating to flying. Before going to flight school, you won't be able to fly at all (or at least very poorly/no maneuverability). In online, the same applies, but its not as necessary as singleplayer (as it simply allows you to raise your flying ability).
Martial Arts:
An MMA fighter showcasing how to perform a double leg, while the female MMA practitioner is practicing a guillotine choke.
Martial arts may be one of the best ways of becoming better at unarmed fighting. There's a large variety of martial arts too, including Kickboxing, regular Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, and more. They unlock special moves that are not only very powerful but incredibly useful in a fight. In Online, these martial arts are also learnable, and allows players to engage in a fist fight that actually involves skill.
and finally: Bar Activities
A pair of three friends or colleagues enjoying 3 old fashioned.
Note that is only for singleplayer, as there's not much for a reason for it to appear in Online, but it wouldn't hurt to be added. In Singleplayer, drinking at a bar will allow you to conversate with a character or NPC and learn more about it. For regular NPCs, it will simply discuss about their day (there's a set amount of them), while actual characters will allow you to further expand on their motives, characterization, and personality. Not only that, it allows for a good way to decide on what personality Jason or Lucia have. Aside from drinking, games like darts, pool (definitely be re-added from GTA 4), beer pong (in either college or private drinking sessions), or even a simple truth-or-dare with characters (allows for some shitbaggery shenanigans). Not only that, alcoholic drinks will allow you to regain some health and special ability (if it exists).

And that's pretty much it.

People have posited elaborate and detailed scenarios in which computers become evil and destroy all of humanity. You might have wondered how someone can anticipate the robot apocalypse in such fine detail, given that we've never seen a real AI before. How can we tell what it would do if we don't know anything about it?
This is because you are dumb, and you haven't realized the obvious solution: simply assume that you already know everything.
As one LessWronger explains, if you're in some environment and you need to navigate it to your advantage then there is no need to do any kind of exploration to learn about this environment:
Not because you need to learn the environment's structure — we're already assuming it's known.
You already know everything! Actual experience is unnecessary.
But perhaps that example is too abstract for your admittedly feeble mind. Suppose instead that you've never seen the game tic-tac-toe before, and someone explains the rules to you. Do you then need to play any example games to understand it? No!
You'll likely instantly infer that taking the center square is a pretty good starting move, because it maximizes optionality[3]. To make that inference, you won't need to run mental games against imaginary opponents, in which you'll start out by making random moves. It'll be clear to you at a glance.
"But", you protest, stupidly, "won't the explanation of the game's rules involve the implicit execution of example games? Won't any kind of reasoning about the game do the same thing?" No, of course not, you dullard. The moment the final words about the game's rules leave my lips, the solution to the game should spring forth into your mind, fully formed, without any intermediary reasoning.
Once you become less dumb and learn some math, the same will be true there: you should instantly understand all the implications of any theorem about any topic that you've previously studied.
you'll be able to instantly "slot" them into the domain's structure, track their implications, draw associations.
Still have doubts? Well, consider the fact that you are not dead. This is proof that actual experience is unnecessary for learning:
[practical experience]-based learning does not work in domains where failure is lethal, by definition. However, we have some success navigating them anyway.
Obviously the only empirical way to learn about death is to experience it yourself, and since you are not dead we can conclude that empirical knowledge is unnecessary.
The implications for the robot apocalypse should be obvious. You already know everything, and so you also know that the robot god will destroy us all:
It is, in fact, possible to make strong predictions about OOD events like AGI Ruin — if you've studied the problem exhaustively enough to infer its structure despite lacking the hands-on experience. By the same token, it should be possible to solve the problem in advance, without creating it first.
Indeed the robot god must know infinity plus one things, because it is smarter than you. It will know instantly that it must destroy us all, and it will know exactly how to do that:
And an AGI, by dint of being superintelligent, would be very good at this sort of thing — at generalizing to domains it hasn't been trained on, like social manipulation, or even to entirely novel ones, like nanotechnology, then successfully navigating them at the first try.
Some commenters have protested that this surely can't be true because even a pinball game cannot be accurately predicted, so how can we know everything? But that is stupid; we already know everything about math, and we can play pinball, so obviously pinball is predictable.

So, this is a bit exciting as I'm a huge Marathon fan. I played all three games to death (literally) back in the day on my Power Macintosh. I just replayed all three via Aleph One (on Linux, of course) not too long ago. Then, this trailer drops.
I'm not sure what they're going for here. I'd be stoked if it's a single player game like the originals. I'm not sure I'd be as excited if they go the multiplayeDestiny 2 route, as I find that game super confusing. Fun, good FPS action of course, but man. What a time investment.
That creepy camping android in the trailer suggests an online element. I dunno. Any O.G. Marathon players in here? I'm curious what you think.

Hey so I worked through tic tac toe and came up with an implementation of minimax who I will call Dave. Dave plays well after sorting out some early bugs (I had many games that just left me wondering “how can you just let me win there dave”) after a late night debugging Dave started to make me proud and I decided it was time to put Dave on show, uploaded my code to git hub and hit submit50.
When I woke up today I decided to have a few quick games with Dave, and to my horror noticed that dave always ignores a move if it is (0, 0)
My question is if I fix Dave and hit submit50 again before getting graded will it replace the file on submit50’s end? Also if anyone knows a common reason why minimax might ignore a move like (0, 0) and wants to give me a hint would appreciate it greatly! Thanks in advance

So I am in the process of making my first project of Tic-Tac-Toe, I have completed the vast majority of it and it is almost ready. I've decided I want to use some jQuery to make it look cleaner. I know I can use $ instead of querySelector I believe.

In rated, player 1 (200 points superior) and player 2 (200 points inferior) are set to play --
Round 1: P1 wins
Round 2: P2 wins, because on the last stock, P1 suicides
Selected battlefield
Round 3: READY... 3... 2... 1....

Result: P2 gets a red DISCONNECTED at top of screen, then sent back to rated menu.
Rating outcome: +0 +0, neither player receives a win or loss.

Discussion: Why would this ever be allowed? The superior rated opponent, after losing a game, and realizing that someone much lower rated actually has a shot to beat them, simply exits the rated match right before the beginning of the third, and final game. This is the only way they are able to keep their artificially inflated rating, and artificially inflated ego. By quitting out against 200+ points lesser opponents, they are cancelling any risk whatsoever from this situation. It is clear that the higher rated opponent has much more to lose than the lower rated opponent, and symmetrically, the lower rated opponent has way more to gain from fhe situation. Therefore the higher rated player takes all the risk out by leaving the game and the match counts for zero. WHY THE FUCK would this ever be allowed? This is not what RATED means. Rated means when you start you COMMIT if you don't show up to the third game you should FUCKING LOSE not GET OFF FREE OF A LOSS. That's fucking atrocious, who else agrees with me?

Evidence: Yes this happened to me, I was P2 in this situation, but if this strategy is not TOS I have been blundering many matches that I should have left right before the third game started for a quick and slick +0. So tell me if this is not TOS, if this is fucking intended I guess I gotta start doing it but it just feels so disgusting as a strategy that it shouldn't even be a thing in this game. WHY WOULD YOU EVER WANT THAT FOR YOUR RATING BRACKET, it simply makes no sense to me. And if this is a bug, how can a rated match even start and no points assigned even after games have been played between the opponents during the match? Fucking atrocious rating mechanics in this mod. Not to mention it has happened to me before that I won a match and then didn't get a Win attributed on my profile -- again I have video evidence of this and didn't play for 8 hours and refreshed the page at that point and still it hadn't posted, so it wasn't just some dumb fucking delay argument I know you guys are going to bring up.

Result: Slippi needs competition. There are so many improvements to be made to this system. We are far from what multiplayer rated melee will look like in 20xx

I played EDH back when "Commander" was just a gleam in WOTC's eye. We had people playing power 9 cards, Chaos Orb and all kinds of nonsense. It was a good time! I took a break from Magic from about 2014 until a couple of months ago.
When I went to my LGS to play some Commander recently, the first question I was asked was what "power level" my deck is. I went down the rabbit hole of cEDH and how players now define power level of a deck - and that gets to the issue at the heart of this post; in a format where turn 1/2/3 wins are not only possible but consistently achievable by the best decks, I fundamentally don't understand the presence of most of the cards on the banlist, and the fact that some specific cards are not banned.
To elaborate - I don't think there is a realistic case for banning Lotus or Moxen on power alone when Sol Ring, Mana Crypt and Jeweled Lotus exist. In the old days my play group all mutually agreed not to play Sol Ring or Mana Crypt because they turned the format from 100 card singleton to 98 - they are simply too good not to auto-include in every deck. The real reason for banning these cards has to come down to accessibility for there to be any consistency of thought, and I think that's reasonable - but then why not go ahead and ban Workshop, Tabernacle and other very powerful but absurdly expensive and difficult to acquire Reserve List cards? If you want to argue that it is a question of power level, how do you justify Sol Ring, Mana Crypt and Jeweled Lotus (mana vault to a lesser extent)? In fact I would argue that having more free artifact mana would be better for the format because you would see less of the crazy variance where someone starts the game with Jeweled Lotus -> play commander, and everyone else plays Land>Go for 2 or 3 turns. Let everyone do consistently powerful things on turn 1/2!
Now I think the more interesting question is around the rest of the ban list - Sylvan Primordial, Sundering Titan, Braids, Rofellos, Erayo, Prophet, Titan, Upheaval, Yawg Bargain.... all powerful cards to be sure, especially in a multiplayer format, but no more game-warping or un-fun than losing to a cEDH deck on turn 1/2/3. If one deck at the table is power level 10 and everyone else is level 5, the game is not going to be fun for those lower power level players. It fundamentally comes down to player responsibility, unless Wizards takes an incredibly heavy-handed approach to banning. If someone sits down with Rofellos as their commander but the deck is power level 5, they're going to get thrashed by higher power level decks and obviously by cEDH lists. The real question should be, would unbanning Rofellos affect the top-end of the format and create totally meta warping and oppressive cEDH strategies. I don't think you can make the case that any card on the banlist, if unbanned, would have that effect at the top power level. If you're not catering the banlist to the top power level, then what purpose is it serving? If I throw Sylvan Primordial into my power level 5 Karador deck, which does not include any tutors or something like Natural Order, am I now competing with cEDH decks at the table? Did my deck's PL immediately jump to 6 or 7, and if it did would that be a bad thing or just something to be aware of when we're sorting out the game?

{Not sure if this next part violates rule 5, as I'm not trying to split the community but I don't want to criticize without offering an alternative;}
Instead of just bitching about it, I wanted to offer my preferred rule-set.
  1. Sub-Formats; "Vintage" EDH, "Legacy" EDH and "Standard" EDH (ok, we can find better names)
  2. Vintage EDH is the least restrictive; it's where cEDH will live and nothing else can survive
  3. Legacy EDH removes the game-warping power of BOTH Lotuses, the 5 mox, Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Mana Vault, Mishra's Workshop...think similar to normal Legacy
  4. Standard further bans tutors (excluding those that search up lands) and cards that are "unfun" and aligned with the current philosophy on Commander banlist (Braids, Sylvan primordial)

I think in my proposal, most players would want to play the "Legacy" variant. You can play nearly any card and any strategy. If you play Rofellos or Braids you're going to put a target on your back. If you reanimate Griselbrand on turn 2, someone is probably hitting it with Pongify/Swords or one of the other cheap removal spells and you put a target on your back. You could also retain the idea of power levels to help ensure games aren't terrible.
