Alright, I am scared to post this but I don't know how to help my wife besides motivate her and try IF with her. My wife has been doing IF (16:8) for only a week. She has reduced the amount of calories she's eating down to 1000-1500 per day but burns around 1000 calories on average per say. She is 48yrs young 5'5-5'6" she won't tell me what she weighs but if I had to guess I would say 165-170. (God I hope she never reads this!) I think she is a size 10 if that makes sense to anyone. we fast from 6pm-10am. We bike ride 10 miles every morning at 5:30am and then about 15-20 minutes later she gets on the treadmill and does walking and jogging intervals for about 3.2 miles takes her about 45 minutes and I go to the gym. Cardio wise I would say she is in good shape (Definitely better than I am). We have been bike riding like this for about 3 weeks. I have been doing IF 16:8 during the week and sometimes 18:6 on the weekends for 2 weeks now. I am 51 5'7" and I started at 217lbs. I am down 7-8lbs and have lost an inch off my waist. "Before" she started IF she lost several pounds obviously by just increasing her workout regimen. However, now that she started IF (Only a week ago) she has not lost any weight at all. She is extremely frustrated because it hasn't been easy for her to go hungry. I feel bad because of my success and want her to succeed as well. Not sure what she's doing wrong. If, anything at all. Our meals are normally the same because we fast around the same times. When she is able to eat she drinks a 160 calorie protein shake for breakfast with 30 grams of protein in it and 4 grams of carbs. Then for lunch she will sometimes make herself avocado toast using Ezekiel bread and 2 eggs or a tuna sandwich. I eat steak and eggs and sometimes a bagel, egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast. I drink several protein shakes (same ones she does) a day to try and keep my protein count up and have cut down on the carbs. I have lunches that I bring to work and for dinner we have both been eating grilled chicken salads. Here is where we differ. I drink regular water no sweetener. During her fast she drinks lemon water with 4 squirts of Stevia and that's it. Could that be spiking her insulin? She has one cup of coffee with zero sugar creamer and stevia a day when she's not fasting? Could that be it? I am at a stand still with her because she gets really "hangry"...lol. But I love her to death and just want to help. Sorry for the book! Any advice is extremely appreciated!

My primary use case is CSGO, along with city buildesim type games: Civ 6, Cities Skyline, Dyson Sphere Program, etc
I'm an elder millennial gamer who does not buy the latest AAA games. On the rare occasion I do play bigger games, it's usually a few years later for example I'm playing at the moment: Hogwarts Legacy, Death Stranding, and Star Wars Fallen Order. It would be nice to have those games run in highish settings.
I am also in grad school and will be doing ML/data science activities on my PC.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)
I game on a 1440p 144hz monitor. I plan on upgrading to as high as a refresh rate as I can get for CSGO purposes in the near future.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
Budget is not really an issue, but since I have less and less time to game as I get older I'm trying to get the best system for my use case at the most reasonable price. Could I get a 4090? I guess so, but I know I don't need one for what I do.

Basically I haven't kept up with PC builds much in about 6-7 years so I don't know what I'm missing out on. If just grabbing a 6750XT and a new PSU will keep me happy for a few years I can do that.
If M.2? Nvme? (i barely know what these are tbh...) are going to be mind blowing compared to my gaming HDD and my 7700k won't last me another 4-5 years then I'd bite the dust and do a full rebuild.
Just wondering what far more informed gamers would do in my situation.

My (30M) best friend (27M) and I have a pretty close knit friendship. We have had a bit of a rocky month and a half when he seemingly replaced me with a new fwb (20M).
Outside of a 2 week period in mid-May when the fwb moved home for the summer (college student), he hardly makes time to see me one on one anymore. We see each other at things our mutual friends go to but that’s for maybe a total of 2-3 hours in a total week and it’s always in a group setting. The weekend before last the fwb surprised him and came into town to visit for a 48+ hour straight period, this after I asked him to hang that weekend to which he said maybe but probably could. Prior to this 48+ hour period, their hangouts would pretty much exclusively be them doing sexual things for the 12-16 hours they were together and awake.
After the fwb left we talked for a few hours and I found out my friend likes the fwb and they are going to become exclusive. This is a big change for him and I and I ask him if he’d still be able to hangout with me one on one, to which he says “maybe!” The fwb broke up with his gf a few days prior to the surprise visit. Now, according to him when I can talk to him, they video chat each other every waking moment they’re both available.
Am I just jealous and having a hard time adjusting to the new friendship, or am I having legitimate concerns that he is going into a relationship that is going to end up hurting him? I will admit I do have feelings for him but never explored a relationship because he told me early on “I’m not looking to date men” because he is not out yet. Just seems weird that that stance now changed.

I hope someone can give me a suggestion, after 1 half year i'm really, really desperate... The tower case of my PC that i built got a physical hit (my father told me that he accidentally hit it while transportation) and suddenly later, when i turned it on, the gpu only worked on low resolutions (like bootable operating systems, BIOS, Windows safe mode etc) since that moment.
When the OS load in high resolution, the screen become black. If i boot it again in safe mode (so, in low resolution) it work. I made some throubleshooting to understand this, i tried to uninstall drivers without network, and when i turned on (from safe to standard mode), after some minutes, Windows download again the drivers. To confirm my teory, i tried to do a fresh install of my win 10 and then i tried to install win 11, same thing, it won't get the black screen as long as the network return and i get the drivers. I also tried to download and install drivers from the Nvidia website (in safe mode, using DDU before the installation) but nothing. As soon as win install the drivers, and raise the resolution, the screen become black, and if i reboot... after win boot screen, black screen.
I don't know if it's the gpu or the PSU, maybe the additional 6 pci-e Power cable doesn't give the 150w (or 120, whatever) and gpu can't work. I have a multimetetester for current, but i don't know how to use it on the 6 pins..
Please, i'm desperate, believe me... ATM i have nobody to test my hardware on his PC, so i have to count on your wisdom. Anyone please tell me if i can try to test something, some hardware in any ways, any suggestion Is really appreciated 🙏🏻
