Camping bulletin board ideas for preschool

I had a drug problem, and I lived a very chaotic live. I frequently went to bars just to do cocaine with friends and fight people in the bar.
One of my female friends was very concerned about my way of living. I said that it really wasn't that bad. But one day when I got very high on cocaine and I crashed my motorcycle in a farmfield somewhere and laid there until sunrise, I knew it was time to try to change my life. The female friend, named Emma, was very reliefed that I had the courage to ask her for help.
She immediately started to figure stuff out to help me, and after a while she told me she found a program somewhere in the mountains deep in the forest that helped people get rid of their addictions.
The name of the program was ''Pure Order''. I was a bit sketchy at first, but I love the mountains and nature so I thought I could always give it a try.
The only problem, was that I was from New Jersey, and the program was in Montana. But Emma was willing to pay along for the trip, and she'd even come with me to drop me off to make sure I arrived safely.
At the airport, a car, that was part of the Pure Order program, would take us there. The driver was a man in a suit, with combed black hair, a well kept goatee and mustache. He was wearing a dress shirt, suspenders and cowboy boots.
It was a peculiar look that I instantly noticed. It was a very hipster look, but also a very country look. It was a 5 hour, if not more, ride from the airport to the place where the Pure Order program was. It was very deep in the woods and mountains, and very far away from civilization.
When we arrived, I saw 10 feet high walls, made out of wooden beams, with barbed wire at the top. It kinda looked like a military camp to me, but also like a scouting camp. It was close to a very big lake, surrounded by a dense forest.
The big wooden doors opened, and a nice dressed gentleman was standing in the door opening. Also with suspenders, big beard, combed hair, tinted glasses, nice white dress shirt, a black Bolo tie, and a suit jacket.
I noticed some kind of dress code, but I thought that was to tell the staff members apart from the people. The man who greeted me was a very nice man, and super welcoming. Then we heard a gunshot in the distance, and I saw birds fly up from the treelines.
The man was obviously startled by the gunshot, and me and Emma looked at each other. The man said ''Its hunting season, we take the people outside hunting as one of the many outdoor activities we have around the camp'' in a laughing tone with a smile.
The man welcomed me in, and Emma was not allowed in since she wasn't part of the Pure Order program, so they politely asked her to leave. And the driver would take her back to the airport.
The man talked to me for a bit, while we walked to my bed where I could put my stuff and ''Make myself'' at home. I walked into one of those typical summer camp sleeping places, with two rows of bunk beds on each side of the walls, once again very military like.
The man noticed the look on my face and he told me not to worry, as we would only sleep here, and we would be doing activities all day.
Lastly he asked me if he could have my phone, so I'm not distracted by the outside world and we can focus on me getting better instead. I was hesitant at first, but the way he said it just made sense, and before I thought about it I handed over my phone.
Not that my phone had any signal anyway.
He asked that if I had any questions, I could always ask him. I was scared to ask questions but for some reason I just blurted out all the questions I had.
I asked about the barbed wire, why we are so far away from civilization, why I had to hand my phone over even though I didn't have any signal.
He politely told me that the barbed wire was because the wildlife would sometimes climb over the wooden walls. He told me we are so far away from civilization because they don't want anyone to get the urge to get distracted by day to day society, and fall back into our old habits.
I had to hand over my phone because I would be distracted by it, even though I didn't have any signal, they just wanted to be completely sure that I would get better.
That night we would gather around the campfire, the staff members were there, and the other people in the program. The staff introduced me, and I was kinda awkwardly sitting there, but the other people in the program were very inviting as well.
They told me about the program, they had big smiles on their faces and they looked genuinely happy. They showed interest in me, asking me where I came from, what my goal was, told me about their issues and how the program have really helped them so far.
I felt like I wasn't alone, and that I could actually be helped. Almost all my suspicion disappeared. The heat of the fire was getting a bit hot, so I took off my flannel, revealing some of my tattoos. People in the group were very interested in my tattoos.
I had a tribal tattoo that looked like waves, with a boat sailing on the waves. I said it was because one of my best friends was in the navy, and he sadly lost his life in was, and I had the tattoo out of respect for him.
One of the staff member showed me his tattoo. It was a tattoo on his forearm. It looked like a ''Phi'' symbol from the Greek alphabet, but instead of the circle, it was an eye. He said he got the tattoo when he ''Reached enlightenment''.
I didn't know what that meant, but you know, I don't judge, we all got our things, and I was just happy he ''reached his enlightenment''.
As I was getting ready for bed, one of the other people in the program came up to me and told me ''Welcome to the program, one piece of advice, make sure to smile.'' I thought he meant that we had to smile so we don't bring down the mood for the other people and we keep things positive.
So I brushed off what he said, and made sure to keep a positive mindset.
The next day we did all kinds of activities, we painted, we went fishing, we had a couple (Non alcoholic) drinks and it was a very good experience.
When I was getting another drink from the cooler, one of the staff members came up to me, saying that I had a very rough look, with the tattoos and I had a cut in my eyebrow from a bar fight when someone pulled out a knife and tried to cut my face.
I told him about the fight I've gotten in, and said that I could ''basically defend myself''. He said that if I'd like, I could sign up for a boxing match that would be happening that night. He said that they would have boxing matches, so the people could blow off some steam, and since I had a history of fighting he thought it would be something for me. I was actually very excited, so I decided to sign up.
That night I put on the boxing gloves and fought one of the other people in the program. It was a close match but I managed to win. He was laying on the ground, still consious. As I was celebrating they told me to ''End the fight''.
I had a very confused look on my face, the fight ended, he coulnd't fight anymore and I won. But every staff member kept chanting ''End the fight''. I realised I had to kill him. The man that welcomed me at the door, told everyone to be quiet and he told me ''End the fight, prove to yourself that you have what it takes to make a change. Otherwise you don't have what it takes, and we would be forced to take matters in our own hands.'' while putting one hand on a revolver. When I looked around, I saw the other people in the program just silently looking at me. Their eyes looked empty. All of them knew what had to be done, because they were once in my spot.
I realised that if I didn't kill the man in front of me, I would be the one that would not make it out of here. I looked at the mans face, he had this facial expression that begged me for mercy, but he also understood what had to be done. I shut off my mind, and my survival instinct just took over. I killed that man with my bare hands.
I came to the realisation that this wasn't a program to help people get better. This is a cult. And now that I killed that man, I had officially joined the cult.
I walked up to the man who greeted me at the gate the next day, as I got the impression that he was most likely the leader of the cult. I overheard some staff members drop the name ''Head of Order Edgar'', so as I walked towards him I said ''Edgar?'' and he looked up and asked what was wrong?
I tried to maintain calm but couldn't really contain myself and I asked ''What the fuck was that all about yesterday?'' in a very shaken voice. Edgar told me that I had to choose a new path in life, that I had to make a change in my life, and have the strength to make a life or death decision. As the was telling me these things, I noticed the ''Phi'' tattoo in Edgar's neck. The exact same one the other fella showed me before.
I looked at him with a scared but understanding face, while in my mind all I could think was ''These guys are absolutely nuts.'' I knew I had to escape somehow, even though it could be my death with all the wildlife out there, I had to at least try.
The next few days I went along with all their activities, while trying to figure out the patterns of the cult members. I managed to find an oppurtunity to escape. I noticed that every night, after all the program members would go to sleep, the cult members would gather around and they would have a few drinks.
I knew it was risky as it would be very easy to detect me if I were to sneak out, but I had to try.
So after a couple nights, I gathered the courage to sneak out. I slightly opened the door and I noticed the cult members gathered around the campfire. There were even more cult members then I thought, all dressed in the dress shirts, long beards, suspenders etcetera. I sneaked out of the cabin and the door cracked as I opened it.
The cult members heard the sound but brushed it off, but they did stay on their guard. I thought about sneaking back inside the cabin but I knew this had to be my moment, now I had the courage to make a move. I decided to keep going, and sneak towards a weaker spot in the wooden walls.
As I got closer to the wooden wall, a dog in a cage started barking at me. I panicked and kicked down the weak part of the wall and managed to get out of the walls. I felt so free, but I wasn't out there yet. I didn't have time to think and I heard the cult members scream and load weapons.
I didn't think about anything, I just started running, and I heard the screaming get further and further away. I just kept running, I had no idea what way I was running, where I was, it was pitch dark, I guess around 3 am. I heard bullets whizzing by my head, bullets hitting the trees, right next to me.
I zigzagged and all my legs could do was just run. I kept hearing the screaming in the distance, then it got closer and closer and I kept hearing bullet whizzing by. Then out of nowhere, I felt a sharp pain in my leg, I tried to get up but my leg felt heavy, I thought I was struck by as bullet, but my leg got caught in a bear trap. I tried to pry it open, I screamed from the pain, the screaming from the cult members got closer and closer. My heart was raising. And as I looked up I was looking directly into the face of a cult member, with his weapon leaning on his shoulder. He didn't look happy.
They dragged me through the woods, like I was some kind of animal. They said that they had a place for ''people like me''. They dragged me to a tiny shed deep into the woods. It had no windows, just some very small holes in the wood of the shed that let some light from the upcoming sun in.
They strapped me to a chair, and put tape over my mouth. I heard the sound of a shotgun getting cocked behind me. I felt a very cold metal rod getting pushed into the side of my head, the barrel of the shotgun. I was breathing very heavily, I couldn't scream. I felt one single tear roll down my face.
As I looked through one of the holes in the shed, I was looking at the sunrise. I heard a gunshot, and all my pain disappeared. All I could see was Edgar welcoming new people at the gate, as he smiled and said ''Aahhh, hunting season.''

Alright soooo here me out. Demon souls was a slept on huge innovation in the world of action rpgs genera when it dropped, probably, I've never played it so I have no idea if that's true. Dark souls improved on it I think, but it is essentially the same shit by what I can tell. Unlike demon souls, dark souls became popular because of pewdiepie, and now everyone knows about it's formula.
They have then cashed in on this addictive formula with like 5 other games, and have since honed their strategy of hooking introverted video game addicts to their dopamine inducing loop of making your 4th or 5th imaginary character a god eventually by doing the same shit for about 400 hours at a time give or take. And that's fine by me. In our current state of society, until scientific research proves that this is causing untold psychological damage to our youth or something, this shit is still legal as of now so idc.
But you would think that this so called god tier game developer would be able to have thought that maybe, just fucking maybe we would like to have field enemies and maybe some mini bosses be randomized in a lore-true manner, right? Maybe seeing the same 675 enemies doing the same 1 scripted thing, being in the same spot every time would, I don't know, break immersion or something? Be boring as shit perhaps? Idk, keep some key item holding mini bosses in the same spot and keep scripted enemies in dungeons caves camps etc., but have some damn variety in the open world for Christ sakes. Maybe implement a weapon enchantment charm system like bloodborne where random mobs can drop, keep shit fresh and spicy.
And further more, Spoiler warning, why can't we play in any post ending world?? They totally sold out at the end of development. They could have changed the skybox and added post game dialog related to your decision. Ranni's ending? Get ranni as your new companion, a spirit summon version of her, and put a big blue fuck you moon in the sky so I remember my queen. Frenzied flame ending? Forced newgame plus by leaving you in a world burned to nothing except like 1 or 2 mini dungeons like in ds3's dlc's last area. There is 0 reason why they couldn't have done this, but instead this game studio just copied and pasted their formula all over this open world map and for whatever reason they didn't see these obvious no brainer decisions right in front of them. Maybe because while we have been shaming ubisoft, ea, rare, naugtydog and activision we were blind to see that fromsoft sold their soul a decade ago, yeah.
Also, They should have levels 300, 350 and 400 actually be worth getting too. I would love to see some spells and weapons require 60+ in two or three stats, and some new damage types for like Int/Faith int/Arc, faith/arc, and int/faith/arc builds. Ideas:
New Damage types: Curse, Life Essence, primordial
SL 250-300 Arc-Int= Curse damage: Strong against human and holy users. Inflicts curse, along with 1 or 2 of the following: frost, poison or bleed. Scales with arc and int but inversely scales with faith, so lower faith = higher dark damage.
Sl300-350 Wind Element Buff Damage: A No fucking brainer. A quality build should have much more going, it should boast at least 250+ Ar at 80-80 than 80 str or dex builds while dedicating itself to hefty skill based weapons, spears, curved great swords, lances, halberds, etc. Quality builds should get wind damage, which is just physical weapon buffs and spells. This wind damage could then be used to make wind-element damage if they take int-faith or arcane to 55-80 too. Fire wind, magic wind, ice wind, lightning wind, blood wind, poison wind, etc.
Sl 250-300 Arc-Faith = Life Essence Damage. Not effective or ineffective against anything, except undead are immune. Causes 50% stamina loss for 30 seconds when proceed, can be procced twice to temparary wipe one of stamina completely.
sl 250-300: Int-Faith= same, add more shit though
SL 400+ Arc-faith-int=Primordial damage: Does like 50 of all status effects at once, and does a set amount of extremely high physical damage and a set amount of elemental damage equally. However, when damage is dealt, it deals the elemental damage type the enemy is weakest to on impact, along with the physical damage. Super overpowered and access to everything, but at this point you would be so over playing elden ring it fits.

I know what you're thinking, it'll destroy the meta. I argue it won't, there will just be three main pvp zones like there is now (main, there are dozens really). Sl 125-150 makes the most since for PVP, it's where many would stop and takes many hours for most players. Below sl 100 pvp will always have it's own flavor, and then players on a journey to being overpowered will have their own 250+ summoning pool.
There's so much more they could have done with this game. The fact that once I go through an area, I've done all that there is there to ever do there, ever, unless some ambiguous quest happens to be located there, is stupid as shit. Why are we not all outraged about this I do not know, a randomizer and continued variety in the game makes 1000000x more sense than stationary fucking enemies in a world that drop the same shit. Made sense in a game that plays like a hallway simulator, kind of I guess. A 2% chance for a rare helmet? How about a 2% chance for a field mimic tear Malenia boss fight with a chance to drop a unique hand of Malenia weapon drop that has different scaling, or status effect? Why would they not incentivize me to actually go places again and play with the character you had me build? Their answer? NG+, which only resets all bosses and graces.
Stupid.

Conditions: Hendricks and Walker are off the board and at least Wallace or Black are available. The only thing that can entice a team trading up, other than big wings, which are what we are thirsty for as well, is PG. Wallace and Black, at this juncture, are the only names that I could see teams getting nervous about losing and ready to trade up aggressively. Hendricks and Walker are the only top-10ish names that I want in Dallas (discounting the obvious top 3). In our situation, where we need to squeeze every possible route of long-term improvement and we cannot do anything just for the kicks, I don't think it is advisable at all to draft a guy like Wallace, Black, Dick or even Whitmore. We have an extremely tight window to maneuver around and we need to be clean, precise and assertive in our moves. We need to get what we need, not what is cute.
Condition #2: we are not packaging this pick for a veteran. I will have a stroke if we use this to get Ayton, Grant or whatever guy on a bloated contract to make us lose in the 2nd round and get stuck in a roster with Luka, Kyrie, said guy and a bunch of G-Leaguers because the CBA will rekt hard teams with a lot of big contracts. I do want us to get a veteran, but with the 2027 FRP and trying to balance the contracts going out and coming in, specially length-wise.
Partners (going in a crescent order):
a) Toronto: #10, Timmy for #13, Boucher
I still get a bit iffy about that one because we all know Masai loves trades where either he wins or the other partner loses. He doesn't play fair if he is selling, so this would rely hard on him not wanting to pay FVV and wanting to get younger with Wallace or Black. Wallace is smaller than his usual but I'm shocked people are not talking more about Black. A 6'7 PG that cannot shoot? This is Masai's personal dream /s
Jokes aside, I have a little hard time seeing this happening, but more than one Raptor fan told me this would be realistic and within the Raps' MO. A small trade down, although not getting us another FRP, would net us Boucher, an amazingly solid PF/C hybrid, that can either start or come off the bench and contribute now alongside Maxi. At #13 we can still make other moves trading down further or we can even have some flexibility in our choice, specially if we are eyeing a C with the 27 FRP package (we would need to involve Bullock, though, and this starts to snowball in a way that I'm too tired to think right now). Boucher can eat up 25-28mpg from the 4 and the 5 right off the bat. As I said, I think this is a price too steep for what Masai usually likes to spend, but I trust Toronto fans more than myself on their own FO.
b) Utah: #10, Timmy for #16, #28, Olynyk
I always thought that one for Bertans but then I thought "This is Ainge, why in the world would he accept Bertans?". The fact that I like Bertans doesn't mean the league does and the league does not. To get Olynyk, I believe we would need to offer Timmy, which is at least a neutral asset. Olynyk doesn't require explanations, I believe. He would be our starting C right off the bat, he can play the 4, he can get boards, he can set screens, he can pop. He isn't great, he should not be starting, but as an expiring making just 12M? Hell yes. I love Timmy, but he is probably the most expendable guy in the roster with some trade value.
Utah has #9, so we would need to believe here that they would take Hendricks or Walker at #9 and then want to get back at #10 to get their PG of the future. If they get Black at #9 or something like that, there's no incentive at all for the trade-up. Sitting down at #16 will get them in the Hood-Schifino territory, but Wallace and Black will be far gone, specially with Toronto at #13 and teams wanting to trade up. If they do not get their PG at #9, they will want to get one and, if they do not get a PG, they're getting a big wing, which makes Olynyk expendable.
At #16, with #28 available, we are in solid footing. All the 2nd tier bigs (Lively, Clowney, Murray, TJD, Nnaji) and good wings (Miller, Coulibaly, Howard, Cissoko) should be on the board even at #28. We could very well walk out of the draft with a starting-caliber veteran frontcourt guy on a good deal and two young guys ready to contribute now and to be part of our core later. Pretty much one of our best possible scenarios IMO.
c) Brooklyn: #10, Bertans for #21, #22, Doe, Sharpe (maybe)
Best case scenario for emotional reasons. I want Doe back. Yes, he was starting to show some physical decline, yes, he was not the same, yes, he had a hard stint with the Nets...don't care. Doe is the Mavs. I would be extremely thrilled about having a Finney-Smith wearing 10 again, he would make our wing rotation back to a good level with Green and Bullock splitting minutes with him. The Nets actually want to get rid of him (losers), so I would be more, more than up to get Doe back home. I read that, since it is a new season, we can trade for Doe right back at the draft night, but if we cannot, this idea goes down the sink. O'Neale is too rich of a price, Sharpe alone is too poor of a price. Doe is the perfect price for both parties. Going from the 20s into the lottery isn't cheap, after all, and the Nets needs an actual, real PG. A Wallace-Dinwiddie-Bridges-Cam-Claxton starting 5 will rob more wins than people will give them credit for.
At #21 and #22, most of the guys from above would still be available. Lively and Murray should be off the board (people are severely underrating the desire that contenders will have over Kris Murray, a plug and play 3/4, 3-and-D guy), but all the others should be on. If Nico can make some magic and get Sharpe back as well (a tall, tall order), we could walk out of this with Doe, Clowney, Sharpe and Miller (I'm trying hard not to let my love for TJD do the writing, but make of that what you will). The Kyrie trade would pretty much be: Dinwiddie, 2023 and 2029 FRP for Kyrie, Sharpe, 2023 and 2023 FRP. We would see it under way better lights.
I usually had Indy as other option, but I cannot convince myself. Sure, they want less rookies and getting another lotto piece would be neat, but...what are they trading for? They already have a starting PG and a bench PG. Sure, they could trade Nembhard in a splashy move for OG, but I would believe they would be using 26 and 29. If they want 10 to package with 7 for a star, they would be giving up pretty much their whole depth.
I don't believe this would happen, I think they will stay put and actually rebuild the proper way, but if they get too anxious and, for some reason, want to move up, I could see something like this:
#10, Timmy, Bertans for #26, #29, Isaiah Jackson and Duarte
A hefty price, but a sufficient one for trading pretty much two SRPs to get into the lottery. If they need #10 to make a move for OG or whatever, they could pull the trigger here. For us, it would be very, very good. First, considering it would clean up 30M from our cap space if I'm not mistaken, considering Jackson and Duarte are on their rookie deals. This would allow us to actually have something other than the TPMLE to offer in the FA market, which could allow us to bring in some wing or even overpay a C. Second, Jackson and Duarte are two young and good players. Duarte is not that good of a defender, yes, but a solid shooter with the tools to not be a revolving door, that has the potential to be a really special shooter. This is just a cherry, though, I think it is forcing the issue. My real prize here would be Isaiah Jackson. A rugged defender, big body, good rebounder, that can play down low on both ends of the court. He doesn't work as well as a PF without a stretching 5, but he is thick enough to be a C in the NBA. Intelligent, good BBIQ, solid instincts, he would find minutes right away and he is riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight there in order to breakout. This is the move that we need to make: get guys that are about to breakout, not after they broke out and are demanding big-time money. Could we ask for a future FRP here? I think it is forcing the issue too much, but who knows.

Everyone keeps saying Shiv is just like Caroline now -- the wife of the CEO -- OR that she could get back into politics or do her own thing.
She could do all that, but everyone seems to forget she and Tom have been colleagues the whole series. Karolina gave Shiv a heads up about Hugo acting different before the board vote, and the FIRST person Tom asked for was Karolina, as if Shiv gave briefed him as soon as she cast her vote.
Yes, they've both gunned for the top position and thrown each other under the bus doing it. But I don't see why she can't, at the very least, switch roles with Tom and gun for something high-up-ish in the company, like he did with the television division or any other roles?
Matsson never told Tom he didn't want Shiv anywhere , just not in the top spot. In fact, even when he was saying he wants to fuck her, he was speaking highly of her business-wise; not about firing her. She just wasn't the person for CEO.
AND if you think switching to her brothers' side for a few hours would ruin her employment chances, that doesn't track at all with the show. Everyone from Frank to KENDALL got as far as they did after blatant betrayals and fuckery. Tom congratulated Greg on his first blackmailing. And Matsson said nothing about Shiv after she flipped -- it was Greg he called Judas and Greg still has a job. If anything, Matsson knows why Shiv temporarily took her brothers' side and will appreciate still giving him the vote.
If nothing else, Shiv can hold her last-minute vote above Tom's and Lukas' head to get a nice spot in the company, play the card she did at the funeral that her liberal politics won't affect her loyalty to the viewers and become the absent #BossMom she promised to be. Not as CEO. But something, somewhere.
She PROBABLY would get even farther than she would ever have with Ken. Go back to those at-home work conversations with Tom as they bounce ideas off each other, or become divorced co-parent colleagues with a ton of mutual respect. It's not CEO. But it's not immediately Caroline.

• Being in the same house as someone convicted of a crime will get you prosecuted
• Safety codes are enforced through the torture and murder of those who fail to comply
• Doctors must provide abortions immediately on request
• Most social media are banned and its use is a death penalty offence
• Newspapers, tabloids and beauty magazines are banned
• Drinking alcohol is banned

UW Control decks are already oppressive in the current standard meta, but as each set adds new/more/better control cards it's going to become even more difficult for other deck archetypes to play effectively against control. It doesn't matter how powerful red/green/black cards are if you can't resolve them or if they just get deleted the moment they enter the battlefield. It's not fun being completely unable to resolve a spell. If you do manage get more than 2 creatures on the battlefield you can be 100% guaranteed it's because the opponent is about to drop a Farewell or Sunfall which literally have no counter play in standard (except more counter spells). Hexproof, indestructible, protection are all useless against exile so good luck with that - whoever thought it would be a good idea to make a board wipe exile creatures (not to mention artifacts, enchantments and graveyards) is an idiot. Maybe if you are lucky the board wipe will be a Depopulate so death triggers and indestructible actually do something, and you might even get to draw a card.
It's fucking ridiculous that I can play 20+ turns of just watching my opponent counter or blow up literally every card I play because I didn't kill them by turn 4 and they didn't bother to put an actual win con in their deck. Everything they have (except the board wipes) operates at instant speed, so counter play options are limited and good luck waiting for them to tap out to get anything done. I guess it's important that I need to sit around and not play magic while I wait for them to find another Jace to slowly mill me out like a true champion of Magic.
At least rotation might have taken Farewell or some of the counter spells out of play, Memory Deluge, Wandering Emperor, or Silver Scrutiny, to help reduce the absolute oppressiveness, card filtering and card advantage of this deck. Most decks have no way to gain card advantage against this deck once it is online because they will have a hand full of counter spells and removal. Even a turn 2 Thalia feels like pissing in the wind by delaying them from a board wipe by just one turn. If you do beat them somehow, it was probably because they got mana screwed and died before they could stabilize or the grind was so an hour long grudge match and you just want to delete the fucking Arena client by the end of the game.
I have tried playing UW control myself but to be brutally honest the games are just painfully slow and boring. I would rather concede than play out a mirror match because I value my own sanity. I don't enjoy it at all, I doubt I am alone here, and if the mythic tier meta keeps trending in this direction after the recent bans I may just have to quit playing standard entirely.

It’s a sci-fi show, currently on Netflix, about visitors from the future who come back to our time to try and avert a cataclysm that resulted in a series of environmental disasters and the subsequent collapse of society. One noteworthy element of the show is, across the board, 100%, the travelers from the future are horrified by the idea of eating animal products, as much so as we would be if we went back 200 years and came face-to-face with some of the then-accepted, now-barbaric practices related to keeping slaves. In their time, earth has become so inhospitable to life that even seeing an animal is a rare treasure, and the notion of abusing one is unthinkable. I would like to think that would be real: that humanity’s reaction to surviving collective trauma and loss would be a greater appreciation and respect for our fellow occupants of this planet. Kind of a “don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone” situation.

What would you like to see in the MGS 3 remake for the survival part of the game? Should Snake be cooking meals, setting up camps, modifying his weapons, have stamina and also psyche to manage?
I find it interesting thinking about where the remake can change or expand on the original ideas. MGS 3 is definitely not a simulation but it was so immersive how Snake had to do first aid, eat food, choose camo, to survive the jungle.

There are a lot of posts about reporting therapists here. There’s a FAQ that outlines the logistical process, but I thought I’d talk a bit about emotional risk, justice, and closure for the specific group of folks reporting therapists who traumatized them. I hope this is helpful for some. Sorry in advance if it upsets anyone. Please be kind. I’m not a therapist fyi, just in the (long) middle of the process.

1. Remember that the license is a legal agreement with the state, not a professional organization. Accordingly, this is a legal process that could potentially end in a formal disciplinary hearing between your therapist and the state (not you). As in any legal matter, the burden of proof is on you, so you want to gather as much tangible evidence as you can. You may want to give up because you don’t have direct correspondence with the therapist or (one-party state) recordings, but evidence might also include journals, texting or chatting with others about it, social media, or other dated material. Searching through old chats and rereading exchanges, taking screenshots, etc. can be destabilizing (at least it was for me). Depending on the state and/or the violation, you may also need to prepare for a phone call with the lead investigator, which can of course be stressful, and even retraumatizing. You should have plans in place for support. Having my own therapist at this moment was essential.
   
2. You need to write a statement that explains what happened. As the FAQ says, it’s good to explain exactly which codes your therapist violated. Some people are better writers than others. While someone can’t write the statement for you, someone you trust can maybe help you with phrasing and grammar, and also help you see where information may be missing. Understandably this may be hard to do because it requires you to share, but if you feel comfortable sharing with someone, I would recommend it.
   
3. Despite the fact that this is a legal matter, this is not at all like a lawsuit on your end. All you do is write a statement, include evidence, submit the report, maybe talk to an investigator. That should be it. No defense attorney is there to make you look crazy. You won’t need to see your therapist, though they’ll have read your complaint. After speaking to the investigator (if your case warrants it), that’s likely the end of the process for you.
   
4. The disciplinary action may not match the pain you experienced. I see a lot of people telling various OPs to report their therapist because they deserve to “lose their license.” Most of the discipline is rehabilitation. The majority of penalties within recent years in my state are $200-1000 and continuing education, sometimes with a reprimand, audit (ethics), probation, or suspension. For example, one case with multiple ethical conduct violations with clients mandates continuing credits, no fine. One unethical conduct case is simply a reprimand. Another unethical conduct case mandates a few years probation and a course. One disciplined for abandonment had their license suspended for five days. Neglected clients, one year probation. You get the idea. Most unethical conduct penalties allow therapists to continue to practice without interruption. Revocations or surrenders of licenses for unethical conduct with clients were almost exclusively for sexual misconduct. You could check your state records to see how yours handles things (some reports are hard to find or unavailable). All this said, all disciplinary action is public—available for both colleagues and clients to see—and can affect further employment and malpractice insurance. I also imagine reports from multiple clients accumulate. Just don't expect them to lose their license. Ask yourself if a lenient penalty is better than nothing. If my therapist wouldn’t have lost his license, I would have been devastated to the point of severe SUI. Arkansas has an unusually detailed list of actions if you want some idea. For some states you can read the Consent Orders.
   
5. As the FAQ says, be prepared to wait. There may be a quick turnaround, but unfortunately more likely it will take many months, even more than a year, depending on the efficiency of your state board and/or the amount of cases they’re investigating. The wait time could even be longer than the statute of limitations period for a malpractice lawsuit in your state (unfortunate because the report is very useful in a lawsuit). My state’s statute of limitations is 2 years and it’s been 1.5 years since reporting. I still haven’t received closure on my investigation. I spoke to the investigator over a year ago and never heard anything again. Since then the case has changed investigators and my therapist has retired. I’m trying to forget it, since he isn’t practicing, but if he were still practicing I’d probably be losing my absolute shit. Consider if you’re the type to obsess. Will you check every month? Every week? Every day? Is the complaint going to interfere with your own healing for as long as it takes to resolve? And is the complaint worth that? It unequivocally may be, but best to check in with yourself.
   
6. For your sanity, it’s important to stay realistic about the guidelines under which the board is working, and the limitations of the system. Some violations are obviously easier to prove than others. The grey area is not actionable. For example, emotional abuse is one of the most damaging experiences one can have in life, but also complex and hard to undeniably prove (“were you just misreading or misinterpreting?”). On the flip, something that hurt you very much may not be unethical, at least not under the ethics code. The violations in your case need clear definition. Some members of the board may even be more sympathetic to you than your therapist, but they still need to be careful in adjudicating because, again, this is a legal process with major ramifications for the therapist. How will you stay stable and safe if your very valid complaint is rejected because it didn’t fit neatly into the box?
   
7. Because you’re reporting a traumatic experience, it’s really best to work with a therapist if you’re ready and able. A therapist can ask you questions, and you can ask them questions, within an actual conversation. They can help you figure out if a report is warranted, then help you process and understand your goals, if you even want to file, and then consider if it might be potentially harmful enough for you to postpone the report. And, if you do file, they can help with the preparation as appropriate, and to keep you stable during it. I can’t emphasize enough how important my therapist has been in my pursuit of justice and closure. I truly think she saved my life.
   

I’m sure others here have been through the process and can share their own experiences. Just thoughts from my limited experience of the process.

Im teaching some new players (Came from HOTS and SMITE players) to play DOTA, its the 2nd day and they are asking for more in-depth tips and we are focusing in Support Role. But they were shocked and laughing at the idea of stacking neutral camps and remarked that it does not make sense. Joking around that neuts should fight each other since its too cramped. Of course I shared to them the ye olde DoTA wc3 era origins of it.
But this actually bothered me and just realized that there is no lore implications nor sense to it, its just a bug that is now a feature. Can be applied to a lot of things on DoTA tbh but its just kinda hard to justify it. I cant think of any lore/reason as to why this is possible. May be a god in dota that magically adds them? or monster refugees who found a camp but them stacking does not make sense to it. BTW this is not a deal breaker for me but it piques my interest as to how youll explain this that will make sense lorewise?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for recommendations for oceanfront camping in the mid to north East Coast. We are tent campers and would prefer to not be around RVs or generators if possible. We've never been anywhere on the East Coast between Portland, ME and HHI, so I literally have no idea where to start. Thank you so much!

Completely new to this as I just got tray 1 this morning. Now I’m thinking of tons of questions I have for scenarios I find myself in often. What do you all do in these scenarios and do you sometimes forego wearing them 22 hrs a day on occasion?
-monthly (expected attendance) happy hour with coworkers. Usually 2-3 hrs, drinks are on the company and I usually sip on 1 or 2 Manhattan’s while casually chatting.
-live music and drinks with friends on a Friday night, quick bites/apps, drinking beer while watching the band. Approx 8pm to midnight.
-girls brunch or afternoon winery visit. Charcuterie board and sipping wine, again over the course of a few hours.
-baseball game, expect to consume a few beers, peanuts and maybe a hot dog or something at some point.
Did you all have to significantly alter your life? Such as not eating or drinking during events? Constantly removing and replacing your trays? Drink one beer quickly and put them back in for the rest of the event? Not wearing them while there for up to 4 hrs?
I have no idea how to navigate this for the next 7 months 😞

I'm probably gonna get crucified for some of these, but here's just a few builds I've been running with a decent amount of success in my maddening playthroughs. Just wanted to share to to allow people to brainstorm and tweak them!
Vidame Céline + Lyn. (Canter+ - Tome Precision) Main Weapons: Folkvangr +5, Elsurge [Dodge engrave] : Thiss build makes Céline a great Dodge tank, and an absolute nuke on the Frontlines. Ignis procs often with Lyn's clones and Astra storm. She slacks a bit mid game, but soon enough becomes an mvp when she can really start stacking speed taker. Plus, her staff usage in vidame is always a helpful bonus.
Halberdier Gregory + Sigurd (Lance Guard 5, Build 4) Main Weapon: Flame Lance +3 [Wt Engrave] : This one is interesting, but has been working surprisingly well. He needs a lot if investment, but if you put in the effort he will be MVP of damage. His unique skill Survival plan paired with Pincer attack makes him a great flank. He's sort of been a magic version of Timerra on my team. Very fun to toy around with.
Thief Hortensia + Micaiah (Rally Spectrum+, Staff Mastery 5) Main Weapon: Steel Dagger +4, Fracture, Entrap : A crazy idea. But it's my best idea on making an aggressive staff user. She's been incredibly helpful in bolstering my allies and manipulating the board. I put her in thief not only for the poison perks and great damage, but because she becomes an insane Dodge tank for my team with her spd growths. Every single turn she's incredibly useful and has been a lifesaver on maddening.
Griffin Knight Bunet + Byleth (Favorite Food, Reposition) Main Weapon: Wo Dao, Silver Blade. Pretty straight foreward. With Favorite Food, Byleth's Luck stats, and Seconds?, he's a rally machine. But whrn he can't rally he is still great help to my damage carries. Reposition and Instruct are great tools to keep my team bolstered. Plus having staff usage is always great. And the Res +5 on instruct becomes more handy than you may initially think.
I've also been using some of Titanium Legman's builds. Specifically Sage Jade, Plague Doctor Jean, and Brave King Bouche! You can check out his channel for those builds. In his recent Maddening Postmortum videos he goes in depth into them. They're all very good.
I have a few more in the works. Obviously these aren't the best builds on earth but they've been incredibly fun to work with!! Let me know what you think or if you have any ideas!

It al started when i was in 10th and wanted to pursue something else, my parents asked me to get a back up. I agreed. I took up Science in Junior College, joined integrated classes because I thought “If you’re doing something give it your 100%” All went good, except I missed all the junior college fun because i would study all day for the dreaded JEE and CET.
One day before both these exams, I was super chill, no stress nothing. Scored very well in both of these. Scored very well in boards as well.
Now it was time for me to pursue what I really wanted to but my parents forced me to pursue engineering because of such good scores. I was hesitant but they somehow convinced me to get into an engineering college.
In my first year, I thought this is a very bad idea and in my third year my friends completed their degree (Theirs was a 3 year degree) and now they’re free but I still have one more year to go and that was extremely depressing.
tTomorrow is my last exam and I will be an engineer. My parents were right. This feeling of happiness, i cannot let go tonight. Hanging out on the same tapri after college, working late nights to complete projects, writing endless assignments and what not.
I never wanted to be an engineer but i am grateful for my parents to convince me to do this degree, I cannot stop smiling.
My parents have agreed to let me pursue what I want. Once i started researching and speaking to people pursuing that field, i realised that i have the strongest backup than anyone else which makes my degree even more special for me.

Howdy. I'm alone more often than not while still maintaining some lifelong friendships I've held with male counterparts I met when I was a kid. I'd say that most of the time I spend alone I am trying to better myself because I am interested in meeting a potential mate, but my loneliness goes a tad deeper than that. I'm pretty shy and so all of my time is either spent around my male friends or alone in deep thought on what the future holds. I'm just a little tired of it. I'd like to meet a woman who'd be down to just hang. Maybe get to know each other.
With that being said, and you may have guessed this, I am a homebody by nature. But really, I've been trying to get better about that. I frequent the gym and do tons of different activities there from your every day lifting to swimming and yoga. I love learning new stuff and currently it's roller skating with a longing to learn something a little more substantial and less about healing my inner child. Like camping or knowing how someone's taste buds achieve the sensation of umami. Again, I start to drift back to the ideas of the homestead.
At home I'm into arts and crafts, fidget toys, practicing music and dance, and if that sounds intimidating I also always make room to enjoy a little 420 and TV every day. I also game. I'm into VR.
So anyways, I'm looking for a new friend. I'd very much appreciate it if they were a woman as I have enough male friends. After we've had a chance to vibe and know we'd be cool to hang out with it'd just be nice to actually hang out. It'd be neat if you were someone who is active and sees themselves maybe wanting a friend to join their cool activities. Have a computer with a Asus Prime X570 Pro board. Have had it for several years and had no issues. Have 2 M.2 drives running on it since I built it. One 1 TB and one 500 GB in the secondary slot.
Recently got a deal on a 2TB and was planning on replacing the 500 GB one with it. Have cloned multiple drives and never had a problem. Hooked up the new drive in a M.2 housing I had and plugged it into the USB C slot on the mother board. Detects it just fine.
New M.2 is a 2 TB crucial.
Cloned the 500 GB drive to the M.2 in the housing. Cloned perfectly, computer detects it just fine and works great. Turn of the computer, move the new drive into the M.2 housing and replace the previous 500 GB with the new cloned 2 TB drive.
The computer then refuses to boot. I can't even get it to the BIOS menu. It starts and then stops at the ASUS screen.
Tried multiple troubleshooting things after to no avail.

• Removing the original 500 GB M.2 from the board and booting it with the 2 TB hooked up in the housing. That works fine.
• Booting into BIOS menu with new 2 TB M.2 in housing (that works fine) and making sure that the new SSD is selected last in boot order. *Booting with neither the old 500 GB or new 2 TB drive attached (that works) *Changing letter on the new drive to be the same as the old 500 Gb drive and putting it in the M.2 slot (that doesn't work either)

It seems whenever I put ONLY that new drive in the slot it does not work. Works fine in housing. I know some boards act different when you put a M.2 in the second slot but I have been running one in that spot for over 2 years with no issues. Pretty stumped so hopefully someone has some ideas. Thanks in advanced.

So, it would require the lore of the game be changed quite a bit. Mr. House and Bradberton were both in an arrangement, where Bradberton would give Mr. House access to the MK II version of whatever that pod thing Bradberton uses (How Mr. House got that life extending pod), and in return Mr. House gives him a few hundred securitrons. Now after the Cappy in a Haystack quest is completed and you keep Bradberton alive, he will tell you that there is a part of the vault with the securitrons in there. In the little server room there will be a locked door that Bradberton gives you a key to, and after going through a dungeon of enemies, you finally get to the Main generator that you turn on, activating the army. Now, go to the slave doctor and start the Open Season quest, and you get a notification saying "Activate Securitron army? (WARNING: Turns all raider gangs hostile)", which if you say yes to, about 20 securitrons exit through Bradberton's office, and everytime one of them dies another comes out, until all the raiders are dead. (OR, you can do a classic Mr. House move and get the three gangs to agree to the annexation, just like Mr. House and the three families) After that, you complete Open Season regularly and return to Bradberton. Then, he tasks you with getting the rest of the park operational, which you have to do the park quests regularly, and after that you get a notification "Secure Nuka World?" Which will bring securitrons all over Nuka World, retaking areas such as the Hubologist Camp and the Bradberton Town. Also, some of the Galactic Zone robots aid the securitrons if you didnt kill them all, and securitrons patrol all over Nuka World. Returning to Bradberton, he tells you that he is setting his sights on Commonwealth, which then you pretty much do the Raider Raiding settlements except with securitrons, but he starts to turn into a dictator, taxing the skaves and people in his controlled settlements insane amounts. So, if you don't agree with it you can lead a revolt against him with whatever faction you chose to complete the game with. E.G: BoS, siezes the Securitrons and life extending pod technology, Railroad, "frees" the securitrons and slaves, Institute, turn it into a new area to det up a stronghold, conduct experiments, and get new test subjects whenever they want, Minutemen, protect Nuka World. There would be a few ways to handle the securitron army: Turn off the power plant power, which turns of the vault's power, and also the securitrons which tou could repower at any time, a security override which makes all securitrons friendly which would be accessed in the vault in the server room, and the classic "kill them all". After dealing with Bradberton, either by destroying his pod or taking away his control over the securitron mainframe, the securitrons turn friendly. If you dont destroy all the securitrons, the remaining securitrons remain in Nuka World, but with whatever faction you chose to overthrow Bradberton, will have securitrons on their patrols. This would all be voiced using AI, and the securitrons would have the classic New Vegas voice, and they would mention certain events about the events in Nuka World such as Bradberton being overthrown, the raiders being wiped out, certain locations being retaken, etc. Thank you for reading all this. I know it'll never happen, but it was a cool little idea I thought of.
