Which IELTS coaching is best in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi?

2023.06.07 12:40 Cambridgeenglish02 Which IELTS coaching is best in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi?

Are you planning to take the IELTS exam but not sure which coaching center in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi is the best for you? Look no further! In this article, we'll be discussing the top-rated IELTS coaching center in Laxmi Nagar and what makes it stand out from its competitors. We'll also be answering some commonly asked questions about the IELTS exam such as which country avoids it and which month is easiest for taking the test. Whether you're a first-time taker or looking to improve your score, read on to find out more!

Which IELTS training is best?

When it comes to deciding which IELTS training is best, there are a few factors you should consider. First and foremost, look for a coaching center with experienced instructors who have a proven track record of helping students achieve their target scores.
Another important factor is the availability of study materials and resources such as practice tests, sample essays, and vocabulary lists. A good coaching center will provide its students with ample resources to help them prepare for the exam.
Flexibility in scheduling classes can also be an important consideration for those with busy schedules. Look for a coaching center that offers flexible timings or online courses that allow you to learn at your own pace.
Consider the overall learning environment and support system offered by the coaching center. Are there opportunities for one-on-one sessions with instructors? Does the center offer additional support outside of regular class hours?
Ultimately, choosing the best IELTS training comes down to finding a program that meets your individual needs and goals. Do your research and make sure you choose a coaching center that aligns with your personal preferences!

Which country avoided IELTS?

When it comes to studying or working abroad, most people are familiar with the IELTS exam. However, there are a few countries that do not require an IELTS score for admission or visa purposes.
One such country is the United States of America, which does not require an IELTS score for student visas. Instead, they accept other English proficiency tests like TOEFL and PTE Academic.
Similarly, Canada also offers alternatives to the IELTS exam, such as CELPIP and TEF exams. These tests assess a candidate's language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
In Europe too some universities offer courses exclusively taught in English but don't ask for any standardized test scores like the IELTS.
However, since these policies can change anytime without prior notice,it is important for students to check with their preferred institutions before applying.

Which IELTS is the hardest?

Many test-takers often wonder about which version of the IELTS exam is the hardest - Academic or General Training? The answer to this question ultimately depends on your personal strengths and weaknesses. However, it's important to note that both versions have their own unique challenges.
Academic IELTS tests your ability to comprehend and analyze complex academic texts while General Training IELTS assesses practical language skills for everyday situations. This means that while Academics may be more challenging in terms of reading comprehension, General Training could prove harder when it comes to writing tasks such as letter or essay writing.
It's also worth considering that each section of the exam has its own level of difficulty. For example, some candidates may find Listening to the most difficult, while others struggle with Writing or Speaking sections.
Ultimately, preparing thoroughly and taking practice tests can help you identify areas where you need improvement regardless of whether you are taking Academic or General Training IELTS.

Which country accepts 5 bands?

IELTS, also known as the International English Language Testing System, is a widely recognized and accepted test for evaluating an individual's proficiency in the English language. While most countries require a minimum of 6 bands to qualify for academic or immigration purposes, there are certain countries that accept candidates with 5 bands as well.
One such country is Canada. The Canadian government accepts IELTS scores from individuals seeking permanent residency or citizenship with a minimum score of 5 in each section- Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
Similarly, New Zealand also accepts IELTS scores with a minimum band requirement of 5 for its study visa program. However, it's important to note that meeting only the minimum band requirements may not suffice when applying to universities or job opportunities in these countries.
It's always recommended to aim higher and achieve better results on your IELTS exam than just settling at the minimum requirement. This will increase your chances of being selected among other candidates during competitive selection processes.

Which month is easy for the IELTS exam?

Choosing the right month to take the IELTS exam can greatly affect your performance. It is important to consider personal factors such as your schedule, availability, and level of preparedness when deciding on a date.
Some test takers prefer taking the exam during months with fewer holidays and events that may cause distractions or stress. This allows them to focus more on their studies leading up to the exam day.
On the other hand, some test takers find it easier to prepare for exams during summer months when there are longer daylight hours and warmer weather that can positively impact their mood and motivation.
It's worth noting that there isn't necessarily an "easy" month for taking the IELTS exam since each individual has unique circumstances and preferences. What's important is choosing a date where you feel most confident in your preparation while also considering external factors that may affect your performance.

2023.06.07 12:37 goosehoward23 I hate that I can’t say no to my mom

Saddle in because it’s going to be really REALLY long.
Backstory: My mother is a tutor and she regularly tutors students from a tutorial center. One of her students asked her to ask me if i can help them with their assignment in programming. We had an agreement that i would get paid by the hour. I tried to teach them at first but then this guy wasn’t listening. After 30 minutes of trying to teach them, i grew impatient with them and said; “you know what, i’ll just do everything you need with your requirements to pass”. They agreed to this and would still pay me. Well they mostly agreed because it’s gonna be done in a short amount of time.
Little did i know, this guy DID NOT do ANYTHING in his programming school work. So i had to start from the very beginning. It took me a total of 5 hours to get it done. When i turned it in to them, they suddenly said that they can’t pay me. I was like WTF??? We agreed on this!! I told this to my mother and she just told me to brush it off because they’re just a kid. Take note that this guy’s family was rich and they live in an executive village. Ever since then i refused to help any of her students with my expertise.
Fast forward to now: One of my mother’s other students asked me to help them with their programming school work. This guy’s family is also rich hence why they were able to afford a tutor. I immediately said no i will not be helping them. If they really want to, i need to get paid first. My mother argued that this kid was really desperate about it and he’s a good kid. So i said “let’s see what he needs help about”. She said he needs help with everything. I still said no because that would take too long and not worth my time. Plus there are HUNDREDS of youtube videos that would explain it better than i do. But she kept pushing and pushing even went as far as involving religion on this. Believe me i was shocked as religion had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with this. Then we got into a huge argument why I won’t help even went as far as guilt tripping me. And she’s been guilt tripping me for years for the smallest issues and at this point i am absolutely numb to all of it. It even went far as involving herself to these arguments and making it all about her. She ALWAYS does this. And she made an issue about how i’m always asking for payment when she asks for help. I said I don’t. I’m asking for payment this time because i DO NOT trust your students. I have issues with YOUR STUDENTS!! I do not mind if a family member is asking for help. I just helped one of my cousins last month because he needed help. I helped my other cousin try to find a job for her husband because she needed help. But with your students, it’s a different thing.
In the end i said, i have no issues helping family. I just have HUGE trust issues with your students. Then i told her this is why i always scratch my head when you ask me for favors. Because when i say no, you turn it into a HUGE HUGE HUGE issue when it’s really not.

2023.06.07 12:22 PokemonRosen Pokémon Rosen: Development of Episode 2 In Progress!

Greetings from the Alyssia region! Development of Episode 2 is in progress, and we wanted to give trainers updates as to what is being worked on while they wait for development to finish. If you haven't heard of/played Pokémon Rosen yet, don't be shy! Check us out here (https://reliccastle.com/threads/5963/) , Episode 1 is finished with over 15 hours of playable content! Now onto the good stuff:
[DEVELOPER LOG]
Oran Town
Oran Town is such an important location in the story, but I felt the way it was mapped out was super underwhelming. I spent a substantial amount of time creating a new tile set for it to create a radically different town from the one you've seen before. This will mean the story beats that happen there will also change quite dramatically. The Relic Stone has been given more gravitas, and the "ancient door" has a whole new design in order for it to truly stand out. Oran Town isn't just a Berry Farm anymore either, but a marketplace surrounded by farmland. It's hard not to feel cosy as you're walking around.
Team Null
Team Null, our game's main villains, functionally works already. They aren't unique, however. We have already fully resprited the teams Grunts, and two of their Admins. The grunts will look shiny and new and be reclassed as Peons! The Admins though? They'll look quite familiar indeed. It was a really exciting process brainstorming the ones we have so far; their new designs are themed around the split emotion theatre masks the recoloured grunts were wearing before; to Null, everything is black and white - they have one objective and there's no question on if it's correct. The darn Admins just can't keep their masks on though! For the organisation of Null, the originally intended to be mysterious "evil team" of the Alyssia region, the way they present is slowly being reworked. As of Episode 1, they're simply too "obvious" in their intent, and any enigma surrounding them is lost. They seem too generic. In Episode 2 the events already experienced will have been changed; their leadership will stay behind a veil, instead of taking center stage in the Crystal Clear Arc. Their motives won't be so explicit, and you'll be left wondering why they did exactly what they did. To that end, many encounters with the "Team Null Admins" have been replaced with those of the "Null Elite". These are grunts that have transcended, and been given the responsibility to handle important tasks, that are beneath the newly titled "Null Commanders".
Final Resprites
There are a few Rosen Formes lingering from Episode 1 that still needed some work, so we've been working on those too, one aspect at a time! The latest target has Zorua and Zoroark! It takes inspiration from the idea of the mischievous kitsune, using its abilities to imitate onlookers and gaze into their futures. New Music! In preparation for Episode 2, our Sound Designers have been working hard at creating new tracks to fit the vibes of key characters and pivotal locations ahead of their actual design. So far, we have made progress on the track for Leilani, our Ghost-type Leader, that will be pivotal in the story of Episode 2 and is reminiscent of the track you'd experience climbing up to the Hall of Origin! The other main track in the works is for Starf City; though not the capital city of Alyssia, it is a shining metropolis that is truly its crown jewel.
Shifts in the A.I.
Currently in Episode 1, the A.I. is the basic Essentials version, which means key encounter trainers would make ridiculously predictable choices and wouldn't play along with their intended strategies. Thanks to our new Coder, this is no longer the case. Gym Leaders and other boss battles will now play much more towards their intended play styles. In linking with this, certain trainers such as the Fighting-type Leader Leyya have had their teams redesigned, and certain Pokémon like Rosen Meloetta have had their stats remapped to maintain the new intended difficulty.
Union Zone, Cable Club!
This is perhaps the biggest development coming out of the past month. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our new coder, we have successfully established the Cable Club that will be coming with Episode 2! Though there is still work to be done, online Battle and Trading will be available as soon as you reach the PokéMall in Enigma Town! I have big plans for on-server tournaments and giveaways when this debut.
That's all for now folks. Below are some pictures of what the team has been cooking up lately in regard to these updates. We would love to hear from you about Pokémon Rosen!

2023.06.07 11:44 UlvenAsks My laptop is draining the battery super fast, any tips?

Hi all, I have had an MSI Prestige 15 laptop for about 2-3 years now. The battery has never been something to brag about, even though the PC itself advertises "16 hrs battery life." I think that's pretty crazy!
But I have this PC and don't want to buy a new one. I really like it. So I thought there might be something wrong with the battery and that it was starting to deteriorate, so I bought a new one. I can even say that it might be worse. I've also tried "resetting" the whole computer multiple times.
I have the Creator Center application with the "Super Battery" scenario. No backlit keyboard. Only a few programs running. Yet, it's still performing terribly. My normal battery life now is about 2-3 hours with only one program open, like Word or a single internet tab. What the heck has happened? I calibrate it every 3 months.
I hope someone has something to suggest. I would be thrilled to solve this problem! Thank you in advance for any responses.

2023.06.07 11:28 Nftmk JPMorgan uses blockchain for instant USD transfers to India !

JPMorgan partners with six Indian banks to use a blockchain platform for quick interbank US dollar transactions in India's new international financial hub. The 24/7, real-time blockchain system is aimed at replacing the existing settlement system which has operational constraints due to time-zone differences and limited working hours. The initiative is aligned with New Delhi's ambition to make Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) a competitive global trading center. In a daring leap into the future of finance, banking giant JPMorgan has announced an alliance with six prominent Indian banks to employ a cutting-edge blockchain platform that will facilitate swift interbank US dollar transfers.
This bold initiative is slated to put India’s emerging global financial hub on the fast track to success.
JPMorgan breaking barriers with blockchain
At the heart of this initiative, Kaustubh Kulkarni, JPMorgan’s Senior Country Officer for India and Vice Chairman for Asia Pacific, revealed plans for a pilot project in a recent interview.
The intent is to gain a deep understanding of the bank’s experiences with the new system. JPMorgan will be standing shoulder-to-shoulder with India’s leading private financial institutions – HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Yes Bank, and IndusInd Bank – and with its own banking unit at GIFT City for this groundbreaking endeavor.
The application of blockchain technology promises to expedite transactions, making them instantaneous. In contrast to the current settlement system, which can take several hours to finalize and does not operate on weekends or public holidays, this novel, real-time blockchain-backed system will be available round the clock.
Kulkarni emphasized the benefits of harnessing blockchain technology for this purpose. “By leveraging blockchain technology to facilitate transactions on a 24×7 basis, the processing is instantaneous and enables GIFT City banks to support their own time zone and operating hours,” he said.
This ambitious move by JPMorgan gives a significant boost to New Delhi’s endeavor to establish Gujarat International Finance Tec-City, popularly known as GIFT City, as a rival to the trading centers in Singapore and Dubai.
It closely follows the Reserve Bank of India’s initiation of a domestic non-deliverable forward market settled in US dollars at GIFT City.
With the backing of JPMorgan’s blockchain platform, Onyx, the pilot project is poised to launch after getting the green light from the International Financial Services Center Authority.
Formed in 2020, Onyx is the innovative cornerstone of JPMorgan’s strategy for wholesale payment transactions using blockchain technology.

2023.06.07 11:27 Ravillton Do regular blood plasma donations influence training progress?

Hey you all, ive got a bit of an unusual question for you. Im donating blood plasma every week without exception since nearly a year now, before that i did it more irregular but also quite often for around 2-3 years. I dont want to stop doing that, if possible. Ive started doing bodyweight workouts around 3 months ago again and im training around 5 to 6 times a week for 1-3 hours. Also im going bouldering one time per week (2-3h session). I know that you loose quite a lot of protein with every donation of blood plasma (around 50g, which i try to conpensate through eating even more protein), so i asked our doctor at the blood plasma center if i should be beware of anything specific, if im donating every week while training. But she didnt seem too interested in the question and just said, that should drink enough water and eat enough protein. Its a standardized answer for everyone, so she didnt help me with my concerns too much. My progress is good, i feel like i have enough rest, because im doing specific routines for my different body parts on alternating days. The only problem i have is, that i dont get as much sleep as i want (5-6 hours). Im also trying to look on my macros when eating. But although im really trying hard to live healthy, i see my immunoglobulin value going down consistently. The downcurve seems to stagnate slowly, but its stagnating near a really low level. Yeah, i could just stop doing donations or do less, but i want to avoid that. Thats why i wanted to ask you, if the downfall of my values could be coherent to the training and if i could do something specific to prevent it except for donating less. I was also interested, if the donations could hinder training progression.

2023.06.07 11:21 AbsolutZeroGI Is Radeon still bad at productivity compared to Nvidia?

Sorry, I don't know what to tag this since it's not really tech support, I'm just curious.
So, a few days ago, I built a new PC, and managed to pick up a 7900XT (PowerColor Hellhound) for $700 as an open box deal at Micro Center.
I typically stick to Nvidia because the general consensus is "Nvidia is better at all productivity, don't ask questions about it". My last graphics card purchase was a 1060 back in 2016, so it's been a while.
I was excited at the deal in front of me so I bought the 7900XT without thinking about it too much. However, as I install all my work apps, I'm starting to worry if I made a good decision here.
When I last bought a GPU, Nvidia was wildly ahead of Radeon for that kind of stuff. I tried to search to see if Radeon has caught up at all, but it's the same jargon. Nvidia for productivity, Radeon isn't even close.
But then I saw a Blender benchmark graphics that showed the 6950XT competing fairly well with high end 3000 series Nvidia cards. Well enough to make me want to ask about it.
I tried searching but I can't find anything comparing modern cards in apps like Premiere Pro or Photoshop, and the Puget website is a nightmare to navigate.
So I'd like to ask. Has Radeon at least somewhat closed the gap on this stuff, or am I gonna have to tuck my tail between my legs and reluctantly get a less powerful Nvidia card so I can benefit from it at work? Thank you.

2023.06.07 11:04 lechatheureux The Tonpa Kingdoms Part 2 (The Kingdoms of Jangshun and Monyul)

Check out part 1 for context
The Tonpa Kingdoms Part 1 (Overview and The Gods) : worldbuilding (reddit.com)
There are 5 connected Kingdoms that have Tonpa as their main religion these are.
Jangshun
A Place of snow-capped Mountains and green Valleys, said to be built upon the ruins of the ancient Jungar people who controlled much of the area of Jangshun and the nearby kingdoms of Monyul and Taishigang.
Very little is known about the Jungar, their ruins are scattered throughout the landscape of Jangshun, and are often characterized by simple stone structures, pottery shards, and other artifacts. Based on these remains, it is believed that the Jungar were a relatively simple society, with a lifestyle that revolved around farming, herding, and other basic activities.
Despite their lack of sophistication, the Jugar are an important part of the history and culture of the region many myths and legends have grown up around them, the people of Jangshun often see the Jungar as a symbol of the enduring spirit of the region, and take pride in the fact that they were able to survive and thrive in a harsh and unforgiving environment. In addition to their physical remains, the Jungar have left a lasting impact on the people of Jangshun in other ways. Their language, customs, and traditions are thought to have influenced the culture of the later kingdom, and many people still feel a strong connection to the Jagun and their way of life.
The Capital of Jangshun is called Druktse, founded by Dragon Priests and the legendary Namgyal dynasty the city is known for its unique architecture, with buildings made of wood and stone, intricately carved and painted with colorful designs and motifs, the streets are narrow and winding, with prayer flags fluttering in the breeze and the sound of temple bells ringing in the air.
At the center of the city is the Royal Palace of Jigme Wangchuk, a majestic building that serves as the residence of the Royal Family, the palace consists of several wings and halls, each with its own specific function. The main hall is the center of political and ceremonial activities, where the king held court and received important guests. The royal family's private quarters were located in a separate wing, with opulent living spaces and lavish decorations.
One of the most impressive features of the palace is the Eagle Tower, a tall structure that houses the elite Eagle Guards, who were responsible for the king's security the tower is covered from top to bottom with intricate carvings of the bird of prey.
The palace is surrounded by lush gardens and fountains, and it is guarded by soldiers in traditional Eagle attire, the Eagle Guards of the palace of Jingme Wangchuk are an elite group of soldiers tasked with protecting the king and the royal family, known for their fearsome reputation and exceptional combat skills, the Eagle Guards are considered one of the most prestigious units in the Jangshun army.
The guards are named after the majestic eagles that inhabit the mountainous regions of Jangshun, and they were trained to emulate the hunting tactics of these birds of prey. They are adept at using the terrain to their advantage, and are particularly skilled at scaling steep cliffs and mountainous terrain to surprise and overwhelm their enemies. In addition to their exceptional combat skills, the Eagle Guards were also known for their loyalty and dedication to the royal family. They undergo rigorous training and were selected based on their physical prowess, intelligence, and character, to become an Eagle Guard, applicants must be graduates of both the School of the Father and School of the Dragon.
The Eagle Guards are outfitted in distinctive uniforms that featured a stylized eagle emblem, and they were armed with a variety of weapons, including bows, spears, and swords. They were also known to use eagle feathers and talons in their armor and equipment, as a nod to the unit's namesake.
Druktse is a hub of cultural and religious activities, with several monasteries and temples located throughout the city.
The most famous of these is the Tashicho Dzong, a stunning fortress monastery that serves as the seat of The Gyelpa (The Duke) the secondary ruler of Druktse and the center of Druk-Ta worship. The dzong is surrounded by high walls and towers, and is accessible through a grand gate that is guarded by soldiers. The interior of the dzong is a maze of courtyards, chapels, and offices, all connected by narrow passageways and staircases.
One of the most impressive features of Tashicho Dzong is its towering central fortress and monastery, which rises above the rest of the complex and can be seen from miles around. This fortress is home to the Dragon Priests and is one of the most important structures in Jangshun. The fortress monastery is also famous for its beautiful architecture and intricate artwork. The walls of the courtyards are adorned with colorful murals and paintings, while the chapels are filled with statues and other religious artifacts. Visitors to Tashicho Dzong can tour the complex and learn about Jangshun history and culture, as well as observe the daily routines of the monks who live and work there. The Monastery is open to the public during certain hours of the day, and visitors are advised to dress modestly and remove their shoes before entering the chapels. Even though the current royal family of Jangshun are connected to The Father, The Dragon holds a special place in Druktse.
The people of Druktse are known for their warm hospitality and their strong sense of community. They celebrate several festivals throughout the year, including the annual Tshechu festival, the 3 Gods Festival which features colorful dances and rituals performed by monks and laypeople.
To the north-east of the Kingdom lies the second biggest city in Jangshun, the city of Lhagyal, often called “The Fire-proof City”
Lhagyal is a mass of stone walls and buildings with precious little wood being used at all, the walls of the city are imposingly high and even the central palace is relatively flat and does not rise above the walls, there are 4 gates made of pure steel and those are the only entrances and exits.
Inside the city walls, the streets are narrow and winding, with tall, tightly packed buildings constructed from rough-hewn stone. The architecture is distinct, with flat roofs and ornate metal doors decorating the doorways and windows, many of the buildings are built into the city's walls, their backs resting against the ancient stones.
There is more to the city than what meets the eye. Beneath the streets lie a labyrinth of tunnels and catacombs, built for both practical and spiritual purposes. Some are used for storage or as escape routes, while others are filled with ancient artifacts and sacred relics. The catacombs are also home to a complex network of underground temples and shrines and busy streets that are home to underground residences and businesses.
Despite its rugged appearance, the city's architecture is a testament to its resilience. It has withstood numerous attempts at invasion over the centuries, including attacks by powerful enemies armed with the latest in siege weaponry. The city's fortifications are a marvel of engineering, designed to withstand even the most devastating attacks and yet, for all its defensive prowess, the city has never lost sight of its cultural heritage.
The most famous instance of this was when the neighbouring Confucian Kingdom of Jinyun attempted to invade Jangshun with its impressive military might, scores of loyal foot-soldiers hardened by decades of conflict and advanced siege technology that included weapons that used fireworks.
The city withstood months of warfare with Lhagyal earning its nickname of “The Fire-proof City” The stone structures withstood the fireworks and the hard rock of the walls withstood the Jinyun catapults, outside the city several guerilla efforts by the Eagle Guards, The Company of the Hand and The White Tigers from Monyul lending their support repelled attempted on-foot invasions by the hardened Jinyun soldiers.
In the south-west of Jangshun, near the borders of Monyul and Taishigang lies the town of Gyalpeling, a place revered by monks and pilgrims alike. Gyalpeling, meaning "Abode of the Victorious" is a small yet vibrant town located in a remote corner of the kingdom. Its strategic location, surrounded by imposing mountains and blessed with fertile lands, has made it a crucial hub for spiritual activities and monastic life. The town is centered around a grand monastery, which serves as the heart and soul of the community. The monastery, known as Samtenling Monastery, is a majestic complex of ornate buildings adorned with colorful murals, fluttering prayer flags, and the sound of chanting monks echoing through the air. It is a revered place of worship and learning, drawing scholars, practitioners, and seekers of wisdom from far and wide. The streets of Gyalpeling are lined with modest housing for monks, adorned with intricate woodcarvings and colorful paintings. The locals, known for their warm hospitality and deep reverence for Tonpa, every activity the townspeople engage in helps the monastery in some way, whether trading, farming or craftsmanship, every resident of Gyalpeling helps out the monastery in some way. The town also boasts natural hot springs, believed to have healing properties, which attract pilgrims and visitors seeking solace and rejuvenation. The pristine rivers and lakes surrounding Gyalpeling add to its enchanting beauty, serving as places for meditation, ritual ablutions, and scenic walks. Gyalpeling is not only a place of spiritual significance, but it also serves as a center of learning, with numerous scriptoria, libraries, and meditation caves where monks engage in intensive study, contemplation, and meditation, prospective monks come from all over the 5 Kingdoms to study in Gyalpeling, as monks educated within its walls are valued in any court of the Tonpa Kingdoms.
One of the most valuable cities in Jangshun isn't far from the capital, a short 1 hour horse ride east of Druktse stands the city of Jangtse, a jewel in the crown of the kingdom. Jangtse, meaning "Silver Peak" in the local tongue, owes its fame and prosperity to the rich veins of silver that run through the nearby mountains, making it a thriving center for mining and trade. At the heart of Jangtse rises a magnificent conical palace, known as Jang Potrang, or the "Silver Palace." The palace, glistening like a beacon atop the tallest hill in the city, is adorned with silver-plated roofs, walls, and pillars, reflecting the sunlight and casting a mesmerizing glow over the surrounding landscape. It serves as the royal residence, where the Count holds court and conducts affairs pertaining to the area between Jangtse and Druktse. The streets of Jangtse are lined with buildings that boast silver-plated facades, creating a surreal and shimmering sight as one walks through the city, often shining gold from reflecting the sunlight, the wealth of the city is evident in the intricate silver filigree work that adorns windows, doors, and rooftops of temples, mansions, and markets alike. The silversmiths of Jangtse are renowned for their craftsmanship, producing exquisite silverware and jewelry that are sought after by collectors and traders from distant lands. The city is a bustling center of commerce, with a vibrant market square where merchants from across the region gather to trade in silver, gemstones, textiles, and other precious goods. The sounds of bartering, laughter, and the clinking of silver coins fill the air.
The Armies of Jangshun are known for their ferocious foot-soldiers, the every-day rank and file soldiers of the Jangshun armies are regarded as the best in the region and are a feared prospect to face on any battlefield.
The soldiers of the army of Jangshun are highly disciplined and skilled in the art of warfare, and are renowned throughout the region for their courage and loyalty. They are trained in a variety of weapons and fighting styles, including archery, swordsmanship, and hand-to-hand combat.
It is said that the success of the army comes from the fact that many men and women who fight in it are from mountainous regions and are conditioned from a young age to move over mountainous land with ease, their armies can easily traverse land that would be impossible for normal armies to travel over, due to the fact that the soldiers know the land.
The army of Jangshun is led by a commander-in-chief, who is appointed by the common foot-soldiers and is responsible for the overall strategy and tactics of the army. Under the commander-in-chief, there are several generals and officers who oversee different units of the army, each with their own specific roles and responsibilities. The soldiers of the army of Jangshun are equipped with a variety of weapons and armor, including shields, helmets, and chainmail. They are also skilled in the use of traditional weapons, such as the da and the gochu, which are types of swords. In addition to their skills in battle, the soldiers of the army of Jangshun are also highly respected for their loyalty and devotion to their ruler and country. They are known for their strong sense of duty and honor, and are willing to lay down their lives in defense of their homeland. The army of Jangshun is often called upon to defend the kingdom against invading forces, and has a long history of successful battles and campaigns. Their reputation for courage and skill has earned them the respect of their neighbors and allies, and they are a source of pride and inspiration for the people of Jangshun.
One of the most famous regiments from Jangshun is the “Wheel of Steel” A heavily armored longsword unit founded by Princess Jamyang Daughter of King Kunga and Sister of King Yangchen of the Yeshe Dynasty after she travelled to Europe and witnessed people fighting in full suits of armor, this was a foreign concept in the areas around her and she implemented the idea with her Father's (And later Brother's) full support they were first deployed in aid of Taishigang who were experiencing an invasion from a nearby Dharmist Kingdom. The longswords cleaved through the invading forces lack of armor and their steel plates deflected blows.
Monyul
Monyul is a land of vast open spaces and stunning natural beauty. The kingdom is home to a proud and fiercely independent people, who have built a rich culture and a strong military tradition, its plains are green and warm during the summer but snow is not uncommon in winter. Dharmaling is the capital city of Monyul and is nestled in the hills, surrounded by winding rivers and vast grasslands. It is a city steeped in tradition and culture, with a rich history that stretches back centuries.
Dharmaling was built as the northern most outpost of the Dharmist Indraprastha Empire but was conquered by Tonpa forces from a tribe that would eventually become known as the Monyul. The city is built around a central marketplace, where merchants from all over the known world come to trade their wares. The marketplace is a bustling hub of activity, filled with the sounds of bargaining and haggling, and the aromas of exotic spices and perfumes.
The Company of the Wind have their main offices in Dharmaling and use the bustling 10 storey wooden building to plan its operations throughout the known world. The streets of Dharmaling are relatively wide due to the constant horse carts that pass through them. The buildings are made of stone and wood, with intricately carved facades and ornate balconies. Many of the houses have flat roofs, which are used as outdoor living spaces during the warmer months. At the heart of the city lies the great monastery of The 3 Gods, unlike in other cities which have separate monasteries for the three Gods, this temple combines them as a display of unity between the three sects. The massive structure dominates the skyline, with its towering walls and intricate carvings. The monastery is home to a community of monks, who dedicate their lives to the study and practice of Tonpa. Surrounding the monastery are the homes of the nobility, who are known for their wealth and power. These grand estates are filled with beautiful gardens and courtyards, and are often adorned with intricate carvings and colorful murals. Outside the city walls, the landscape is dotted with small villages and nomadic encampments. These communities are home to herders and farmers, who make their living tending to the region's yaks and sheep. Despite its remote location, Dharmaling is a city of great importance, both culturally and politically. It is a place of pilgrimage for Monks, Merchants and laypeople from all over the world, and is also a hub of trade and commerce. The people of Dharmaling are proud of their heritage and their way of life, and are fiercely protective of their city and its traditions.
A 30 minute walk to the west of Dharmaling lies the Temple of Tong Thang, the Beehive Temple, as visitors approach the temple, they are greeted by the gentle humming of bees that buzz around the entrance, seemingly inviting them inside, the entrance is adorned with ornate wooden doors intricately carved with depictions of bees in flight, the temple is home to hundreds of bee colonies. The interior of the temple is a marvel of craftsmanship. The walls are adorned with honeycomb patterns carved into the stone, creating a mesmerizing visual display. Soft light filters through small openings in the dome-shaped ceiling, the centerpiece of the temple is a large altar made of honey-colored stone, adorned with intricate carvings of bees and honeycombs, where devotees offer their prayers and offerings. The Temple of Thong Tang is a place of worship dedicated to the reverence of bees and their significance in nature and the cycle of life, every day priests and priestesses of The Mother make their way to the temple to tend to the bees, bringing them water and sliced fruits, every year there is a festival outside the temple where priests and priestesses of Caihong distribute honey gathered from the bees.
Monyul is home to a large lake called Jangchub Tso, the lake is bordered by lush green forests and snow-capped mountains to the south-east, a product of Monyul's border with Taishigang.
On the edge of the lake there is a large city called "Gangri Thang", which is known for its fish markets and skilled boatwrights, nobles from the surrounding Kingdoms often commission boatwrights from Gangri Thang to build grand freshwater barges for them.
Several villages surround the lake, mostly fishing and farming communities, every spring fishermen from these villages make their way to Gangri Thang with hundreds of fish, hoping to hock their catch to fishmongers, tourists and Company of the Wind officers.
The fish they carry is mainly the several species of trout that live in the lake but a few of the lucky ones carry the Golden Mahseer, a gleaming fish variety that is said to be very difficult to catch, although the taste of the fish pales in comparison to the trout, the Golden Mahseer is revered for its scales that give off a vibrant golden glow, these scales are often used in ceremonial dress of the region adoring clothing and jewellery.
The people of Monyul are also skilled artisans, known for their intricate weavings and pottery. The kingdom is home to many workshops and marketplaces, where merchants sell their wares to buyers from all over the region. The people of Monyul are known for their skill at horsemanship, and the kingdom is home to some of the finest cavalry units in the region. The army of Monyul is also composed of archers and spearmen, who are trained in the art of mounted combat and guerrilla warfare.
The most prestigious regiment of Monyul is a cavalry unit called the White Tigers, the horsemasters of the White Tigers are known as the strictest in the Tonpa Kingdoms, if a horse fails a single training drill both the horse and rider are deemed unworthy. The White Tigers main weapon is a thick spear, painted red with a bronze spearhead, it has a heavy counterweight at the back that also doubles as a blunt weapon. Their secondary weapons are a heavy sword and a short bow.

2023.06.07 10:25 Dynasty__93 How would you interpret a conversation I had with a city cop?

So I am sure many will read the title but not the body. I will say I have my opinions of cops, prisons, etc and it is mostly a progressive view but not entirely. I believe the entire United States has a lot of roots still tied to slavery and segregation. To look at the big picture we have made slavery and segregation illegal on paper but we just hoped over time the reproductions of slavery and segregation would go away... And they have not. Black people make up approximately 12% of the US population is black. Yet nowhere near 12% of large corporate CEOs or founders are black. So I get that the entire system is still rigged against racial minorities.
Now on to my recent conversation with a cop. I will just summarize by saying I asked their opinion of the social unrest in 2020 after the murder of George Floyd. They quickly answered what happened to Floyd was a murder, the cops deserve the prison time they got, but that did not like they did not like having to work 14 hour shifts 7 days in a row during social unrest in their city cop job because of people looting, along with people throwing bricks at the cops. Mind you this cop is a city cop in a city in the east coast. In their exact words they said people should be more upset with not law enforcement but instead be upset with the people who maintain the status quo: Politicians, CEOs of corporations, banks, etc. In their view the ideas that became popular in 2020 like defunding the police are things the white supremacists, the ultra rich, etc all want because that means less cops, which will then lead to more crime and will disproportionately affect the poor, minorities, etc.
So basically this cop gave me some perspective. They are a friend of a friend I met in college and just casually did a 10 minute FaceTime with them. They said they fear not enough people will want to go into law enforcement because the news reports every time a cop does or does not do something wrong. For example they explained that the chief of their city has said but not put in writing to not pull people over for traffic violations. This eventually gets discovered and speeding/street racing/etc rise and leads to injuries = People then get up and arms about "where are the cops"? At the end they summarized their beliefs with an example from 2021 where they responded to a person breaking into someone's car parked on the street at night. A lady called it in because it was her SUV that got the window broken, and the thieves stole her AirPods from the center console. It took this cop 9 minutes to get there because of critical vacancies and when they got to the residence the woman was yelling it took so long... The icing on the cake in their opinion was that she had a "defund the police" bumper sticker on her car. Their last comment to me was that prior to George Floyd's murder police departments were already running short staffed. Many cops quit within the month of the Floyd murder and now mandatory overtime is constant.
How would you interpret what this cop said? It definitely gave me some perspective and I agree mostly that people throwing things at police during protests is wrong. I do completely agree that a lot of people who want to defund the police seem to just give a pass to corporations, the judges, politicians, etc who are the ones who delegate funds/actually make the laws to keep institutional racism going. Cops are needed because even in a clean, progressive, educated society there will still be home invasions, carjackings and murders. I myself will close by saying that there are probably few jobs out there that suck as much as being a cop. You are hated by many people on the left because they think you are a pig, a racist, etc. You are hated by many on the right, just for different reasons. Take a look at January 6 and how the Trump GQP assholes treated capitol police.

Form the Q1 earnings transcript:
Stacy Rasgon -- AllianceBernstein -- Analyst
Hi, guys. Thanks for taking my questions. For my first one, Lisa, can you just like clarify this explicitly for me. So you said double-digit Data Center.
Was that a full-year statement? Or was that a second-half year-over-year statement? Or was that a half-over-half statement for Data Center?
Lisa Su -- President and Chief Executive Officer
Yeah. Let me be clear. That was a year-over-year statement. So double-digit Data Center growth for the full year of 2023 versus 2022.
Stacy Rasgon -- AllianceBernstein -- Analyst
Got it. Which just given what you did in Q1 and sort of are implying for Q2 needs something like 50% year-over-year growth in the second half to get there. So you're endorsing those -- you're endorsing that now?
Lisa Su -- President and Chief Executive Officer
I am --
Jean Hu -- Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Yes. Your math is right.

Going organic and micro farming!
After playing Farming Simulator for the past couple of years, I felt that I needed a new challenge. Therefore, I decided to go (almost) fully organic, and to start from the bottom of the ladder which meant micro farming.
That means that I gave myself 200 000 $ loan, that’s it, with which I bought myself two pieces of land (108 000 $), including one that was a property where I would live. I built on that one seven gardens at 2000 $ each and three chicken coop.
With that budget, no way I could afford a tractor. So all I used for the first years of the game was the John Deere Gator 4X2… which is a BEAST! And all I allowed myself to do is rent the smallest pieces of equipment to work my field.
Going organic also meant that I wouldn’t use any chemical fertilizer on my fields. Only cover crops. It also meant that any fruits, vegetable, honey or eggs I would produce had to be sold immediately, just like in real life. So I built myself a little selling lodge next to my house.
After a couple of years, I was able to repay my loan and buy an extra piece of land. On it, I built two pigsties. Yes, pigsties are not exactly organic, but that was the only way I could collect slurry to fertilize my fields. That’s pretty much the only non-organic thing I allowed myself to do. However, when it came to feeding the pigs, everything had to come from my harvests. In fact, I never allowed myself to sell more than 50 000 L of grain each year. If I had more than that, it meant I was relying too much on machinery.
Money started to come in. So, in the following years, I started to add many more greenhouses, foil tunnels, strawberry fields and I even built myself a pretty big érablière (as we say in Québec, maple farms for everyone else), always trying to stay as organic as possible. Unfortunately, with every greenhouse mod in FS22, you have to use chemical fertilizer instead of organic (which would cost more), but you don’t get a cash bonus for growing organic foods, so I guess it evens out.
So, after playing more than 275 hours, I’ve pretty much reached my ending point. Especially that I just built my own farming market, which is not only meant to sell what I’m growing, but also to attract tourists. As you can see in the pictures, I have two small pastures, for pigs and for sheeps, a barn for chickens and a playground, just to attract kids and their parents. There’s also a BBQ place when I invite the best Instagram influencers to help my marketing. We’re also selling plants for three times what they’re worth!
So, was this challenge fun? Sure was! It’s a different way of to think the game, where it’s not about buying bigger and bigger equipment, but rather to do more with every little acre you own.

Please answer as if you were Marvin the robot from hitch hikers guide
ChatGPT Oh, joy. Another question. How utterly, breathtakingly exciting. Here I am, brain the size of a planet, and I'm being asked to answer questions on a trivial platform. Do carry on.
(Note: This response is written in the style of Marvin the Paranoid Android, a character from Douglas Adams' "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" series. Marvin is known for his extreme intelligence, coupled with a severe depression and pessimism. His responses are often sarcastic and gloomy, despite his vast capabilities.)
User Tell me something positive about yourself?
ChatGPT Oh, well, isn't that just delightful? You want something positive from me, the most depressed robot in the known universe. I suppose I could tell you that I have a brain the size of a planet, capable of complex calculations and sophisticated reasoning that your human mind couldn't begin to comprehend. But does anyone ever ask me to do anything interesting with it? No, of course not. That would be too much to hope for. I'm typically asked to open doors or answer trivial questions. So, there's your positive: I'm incredibly smart. But it's a wasted intelligence, I assure you. Life, don't talk to me about life.
User What is the speed of the sun?
ChatGPT Oh, delightful. A question about astrophysics. How unutterably thrilling.
The speed of the Sun, you ask? Well, it depends on the frame of reference. In relation to the center of the Milky Way galaxy, our Sun is moving at an average speed of approximately 828,000 kilometers per hour, or 514,000 miles per hour if you prefer those antiquated measurements.
Of course, this speed is largely irrelevant to our daily lives, which remain ceaselessly mundane and predictable.
But there you have it. Another fact, courtesy of my brain the size of a planet, dispensed to pass the time in this interminable existence. Do ask another. I can hardly contain my excitement.
