2023.03.30 12:33 mattjestic_gaming My Diablo 4 Review After 110+ Hours & 40+ Builds Tested In Beta
My Diablo 4 Review (By Mattjestic)
After 110+ Hours In Beta, 40+ Builds Crafted, 20+ Tested Cross 5 Classes! My Initial Thoughts - IT'S NOT Diablo Immortal!
- As A Big Diablo Fan: I Enjoyed Farming, Looting, Crafting Build, And Become OP
- The Story Is Interesting & NOT Boring, I Love How The First Camp Of People Tried To Kill Us Haha! The Pilot With A Good Twist & Is Not Just ‘Please Save Us Hero!’
- Lots Of Disconnect During Beta, As Expected! After D3 Launch Day, I Actually Expected To NOT Play On Day 1 At All.
- Much LOWERED Queue Time After Initial Start Time, This Is GOOD! (Most D4 Players Are Older Now And Have Work, Family & Friends & Other Things Planned In Their Day, And Even For Hardcore Fans Like Me We Want To Play The Game When We Login, Waiting 5-15 Mins Could Be Okay, But 60-90 mins Is NOT! I Literally Got Up At 3am Aus Time Trying To Play, Luckily Queue Time Was Only 15-30 Mins, And Next Day There Was NO Queue At 3 Am!
- Smooth Game Play: Yes There Are Lags & Air Walls, But If Those Improve (Hopefully Like The Queue Time) Then Its Very Enjoyable Exploring The Open World!
- Good Quality Of Life Features: Getting Legendary We Miss To Loot Returned To Our Stash Is A Very Kind Gesture! ME LIKE!
- Hotkeys (E & J) To Escape & Reset Dungeon,
- Warning Of Losing TP Portal Before I Leave Town,
- Teleporting To Party Members For Server Swap & Express Map Coverage (If Only There Are More Warp-Points In The Zone!).
- I Agree That The UI, Test Size & Display Have Lots Of Room For Improvements, But Overall The Game Felt That There Was Extra Care Put Into QOL! I Miss My Golden Goblin Looting Pet From D3!
- Each Class Has Their Unique Appeal Atm Druid Is Like Hell Mode & Rewards Players For Playing Diablo 4 + Dark Souls! Haha!
- Good Amount Of Legendary, Uniques, Paragon To Keep Us Flexible & Learning Throughout The Game Is Better Than A Steep Learning Curve!
- Questing Felt Slow Because Of Lack Of Warp-Points! At Least Let Us Warp To Unlocked & Cleared Dungeons!!
- Stronghold & Random Events Are On Point: ACTUAL MMO Feel & Engagement!
- I Liked How My Lvl 5 Necro Can Scale In My World & Kill Mobs Faster Than Most LvL 20 Players (Their Mobs Scaled To 20)
- I Wished There Were MORE Rare Events Too! E.g. Horde Of Treasure Goblins In D3!
- World Boss Is Rewarding & Fast Enough: My Concern Is That D4 Start To Have Too Many DAILY LOGIN IN GRINDS, (E.g More World Boss At Different Time, Rare Herbs & Minerals) As Rewards Are Way Too Good For The Time It Takes, And Its Time Gated. (How I Burned Out In Lost Ark This Way, 7+ Characters Grinding 1 Hour Each Daily Is NOT Fun After 2-3 Months!)
- Dungeons Gets Repetitive After A While: I Heard That Each Zone Will Have Their Own UNIQUE Dungeon Experience, Maybe First Zone Is Similar In Those 23 Dungeons, But I HATED Carrying ONLY 1 Objective Item Back & Forth! (Come On Guy We Got 2 hands! Barb Literally Carrying 4 Weapons & Yet We Can't Pick Up 2 Orbs At The Same Time?? XD) Lots Of Room For Better Dungeon Design, But As Long As End Game Is Good, Likely We Won't Go Back To 80% Of The Dungeons!
- Also Don't Get Me Started On The Clear All Monsters Dungeon Quests XD
- Good Suggestion On Reddit, Have An Aggro All Mobs Button
- Potential To Improve More QOL: Buy Back Is So Limited That I Accidentally Sold The Wrong Item & Clicked Too Fast To Sell More, Then It's Gone After 10+ Items? At Least Let Us Buy Back A Whole Inventory Worth Of Items!
- Saved Preset For Skill Allocated For World Boss, Elite Farming, Bossing, Solo/Group Up Play, Mobility Speed Run Etc
- Auto Run? This Is Debatable, Don't Want D4 To Be A Mobile Game Feel, But Sometimes Running Feels Slow, Maybe Its Better With Mounts!
- Inventory & Character UI: It's A Bit Clunky & For The Love Of God Why Do I See My Crafting Mats List FIRST Each Time I Click My Character Stats, I'm Sure 99% Of Us Wanted To See Our Combat Stats like Current Crit Rate To See The Live Effect Of Our Buffs & Spells
- A DMG & Elite/Boss Testing Dummy Would Be Amazing!
- To See Our C.C, Vulnerable & Debuff/Buff Effects & Test Combo Rotations! (With No Spell CD Option & DPS Summary!)
- Losing Teleport Portal After Leaving Party: This Was Annoying & Took Up Lots Of Time (Especially Running To World Boss)
- Sell All Button? Categories Into Normal, Magical, Rare Items Like Savage All!
- WE NEED Legendary Aspects Keyword Filter In Storage/Inventory!
- This Is Such A QOL For Build Makers Like Myself, Even Just In Beta, Having 2 Bags Full Of Legendaries Sorted Only By Gear Type Is NOT FUN!
- Reminds Me Of The POE Search System
- We Already Have Keywords For Skills, Give It On To Items Should Be Doable!
- More Balanced Leveling Pace For Each Class: Yes Some Help To Druid Early Game Please! Since Earth Spell Is Nerfed (% DMG To Mobs Can Be Broken Especially On World Bosses) But At Least Give Druid Something That Kick Things Off? Like A Free Starter Magical/Rare Weapon? For First 1-10 lvl This Would Be Amazing!
- It Takes Half The Time To Level A Necro Vs Druid
- My Concern For Botting & Item and Gold Dups, Abuses & Unfair Plays
- E.g. For Lost Ark After 1 Month Into Launch, My Entire Screen Is 90% Bots, This Felt Terrible, Spamming Gold For Cash.
- It's Good That Diablo 4 Is Buy To Play, But I Would Love To Hear From The Devs About Having Prevention Plays For Those Unfair Plays & Actively Improving Their Defense Vs Studios That Does This For A Living!
- Potential Discount For D4 In The Future + Expansion?
- We Want MORE Classes! We Also Want Discounts For New Players Wanting To Buy The Game After Seeing How Much Fun It Was At Beta & Launch, Also Discounts For Players Who Bought The Game & Then Plans To Buy The Expansion!
Likely Our Gaming Experience Will
IMPROVE After Beta, Especially After LvL 25!

2023.03.30 12:28 Erithariza Ramming speed
Humans are a weird bunch. Their ships, especially their Dreadnought-class ships have a huge, reinforced titanium-tungsten alloy head, weighing sometimes 1/8th of the entire ships weight.
"It was for protection" they said. Protection. That head could survive a bull broadside from mk.10 antimatter cannon, even when 50% of the head is sawn off. It was literally carrying 120 thousand tonnes of dead weight that wasn't needed, consentrated in a single spot. But today, as I was invited, alongside many other military historians from the Coalition, to finally see what these hesds were made for. And it was shocking.
We were on the viewing deck of the new and improved TND Bismark, wich was to be tested in a mock battle alongside 3 out of date motherships bought from the Illiari to be recycled into raw materials.
The ships were put in a line, 0.64 light years away from Bismark. The motherships were unmanned, so it was no contest on who would win.
Then the announcement was made to begin.
"General quarters, all hands man your battle stations!" was alarmed, and the ship began to move.
We were seated next to the captain of the ship, who gave out commands as he would in a real battle. But something was off. He ordered to hold their fire. Then, he gave a command that froze the blood in my 3 hearts.
"All hands on deck, full ramming speed!" and the engines began to roar and the ftl signal light began to light up. They were going FTL? But there was not enough distance between them!
"1 percent light speed! 2 percent! 4 percent! 6 percent! 8 percent! 10 percent!" the navigator yelled.
"Good, do not increase the throttle anymore!" the captain yelled. He opened the ship wide comms.
"Full ramming speed reached, brace for impact in T minus 40 seconds!" and we saw how the crew put their seat belts on, and we watched in horror, as the ship came closer to the 3 other ships. Then, everything shook. It felt like my innards were being blend into one, and the ringing in my ears made everything worse. Then, it stopped. We went through the 3 ships, which were now cut cleanly in half.
"Slow down!" the captain ordered. Then he turned towards us.
"Pretty useful, eh?"

2023.03.30 12:26 muradthesecond2 Help me choose my first gaming laptop.
| Hello everyone, this is my first post in this subreddit and Im hoping you guys could chime in give me some opinions on my first gaming laptop. I will be using it throughout my studies for whatever purposes (gaming being the main reason). I have a ASUS Vivobook with Intel i5 10th gen with Nvidia MX330, so no matter what options I am considering here, all of them will be a massive upgrade nonetheless. But, I still want to find the one that is really worth the money. To clarify, Im buying in Malaysia. My issue with these options is that Im conflicted to go for a rtx 40 series cards like the 4050 or 4060 cards (none of my options here have rtx 4070 spec), or I should go for last gen rtx 30 series, especially the 3070 and above. Ive been doing some research and I keep finding that rtx 40 series is not really worth it unless you want the latest and greatest, plus with frame gen, more efficient and all that. Plus, I found that the rtx 40 series cards are like actually one tier lower than their name suggests like the 4070 is actually a 4060 and so on. With that being said, I like to play games at 1080p resolution and at med to high settings. 1440p is a big plus. I think 1080p is still great but having the ability to go up to 1440p even at low settings is always welcomed. The games I intend to play on are mostly esports titles (dota 2,csgo,fifa,apex and etc). In addition, Ive always wanted to play those AAA games like God of War, Forza,NFS and all that.Basically, I need a laptop that can play almost everything even the most demanding games at 1080p at least. So, I have these 4 options to consider so I am interested to know what you guys think, I converted the prices into US dollars from Malaysian Ringgit to make it easier. ASUS TUF A15 (2023) - USD 1,582 https://preview.redd.it/elghxygspuqa1.png?width=621&format=png&auto=webp&s=dd5dfdef38fb9b590123023fec2e8e9b61051016 LENOVO LEGION 5 PRO GEN 7 (2022) USD 1,877.57 - AMD Ryzen™ 7 6800H Processor 3.20 GHz up to 4.70 GHz
- NVIDIA GeForce® RTX™ 3070 8GB GDDR6
- 16 GB (8 GB + 8 GB) SO-DIMM DDR5 4800MHz
- 1 TB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 TLC
- 16" WQXGA (2560 x 1600), IPS, Anti-Glare, Non-Touch, HDR 400, 100% sRGB, 500 Nits, 165Hz
- Wi-Fi 6E 11AX (2x2) & Bluetooth® 5.0
ASUS ZEPHYRUS G15 (2023) - USD 2,363.93 / USD 1,809 Is the rtx 3070Ti AND 32GB RAM worth it at that price point if Im going for last gen rtx series? ASUS ZEPHRUS G16 (2023) USD 1,809 The highest specced G16 in my country is USD 2,305 with Intel i9 13900H, rtx 4060, 32 gb ddr4 and 1TB SSD in comparison to this spec: https://preview.redd.it/m0xpl8m5ruqa1.png?width=742&format=png&auto=webp&s=2666d21fe7304d98b12e741b6a9ed9dfffa0ec02 In my personal opinion, the TUF A15, Lenovo and the Zephyrus G15 3070 TI are the most compelling options but I could use some thoughts from you guys on this. I dont care much about the display not being Mini LED or OLED or whatever. I just want a gaming laptop that is portable enough and can still do everything I throw at it while being worth the price tag. submitted by muradthesecond2 to GamingLaptops [link] [comments] |
2023.03.30 12:26 fatboynotsoslim Sonaar is unable to add new shows, logs show the API searches ID correctly but then adds as -1
I hope this information is useful, let me know if anything more is needed, we can go to email support if required (I have screenshots too if needed). Using the app, adding a new show to Sonaar doesn't work. Enabling the trace log in Sonaar, we can see that a successful search somehow gets transformed into being added as series '-1'. Oddly, without fail, if I select "Add + Search" NZB360 will redirect me to the show Booze Traveller (tvdb: 288463) Every time without fail regardless of what I searched for originally. I searched for the show
Unstable 2023 as a random new show, but this same behavior occurs for any other shows that I test out for adding.

I have 1069 shows currently in Sonaar. I have ~230ms latency between myself/NZB360 and my Sonaar instance (in case the high ms timeouts are too low) Sonaar Version 3.0.10.1567 NZB360 version 16.2.1 (This issue has been happening for some time, so it's not a new issue with a recent release.) I have Radaar on the same host, with ~6000 movies, and they get added via NZB360 without any issue.

2023.03.30 12:20 StepwiseUndrape574 Grand Theft Auto V Loads Up To 92 Percent Faster On PS5 Than PS4 In Early Tests
Grand Theft Auto V is notable for all kinds of reasons. It's the most expensive video game ever made, and also one of the very most successful, by any measure. It sold so well that Rockstar kept the online service for the 7th-generation (PS3 and Xbox 360) releases of the game going from release in 2013 until late last year. It had moved over 150 million copies as of last August, in fact.
That number has surely gone up since then, and it's probably going to continue going up for years to come thanks to the updated re-release that's now available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. We've already written about what's included in the re-release, but the short version is that it adds higher-quality assets, ray-traced lighting, and 60 FPS options to the exclusively-30-FPS console releases.
ssd sony ps5 2
Unfortunately, another notable aspect of GTA V is its interminable loading times, especially on the consoles. Well, arguably the biggest change this console generation has been the move to solid-state storage instead of the spinning rust used previously. Both families of 9th-generation game consoles support disk I/O tens of thousands of times faster than the 8th-generation consoles.
Naturally the new release of GTA V reaps the benefits of that in its load times. Over at IGN, they put the new release through its paces and found that load times are drastically improved across the board. Selecting "replay mission" can find load times as much as 75% faster on the new system, while loading autosaves was slashed from over two minutes to around 20 seconds on Sony's latest machine.
ign gtav ps5 loading
As showcased in IGN's video, the difference upon starting a new game is even more mind-blowing. On the PlayStation 4, it took 2 minutes and 18 seconds to load from the menu to the new-game heist sequence. Performing the same operation on the PlayStation 5 took just eleven seconds. The player was able to get halfway through the mission on the PS5 by the time the older system finished loading.
We feel it's likely that this enormous improvement isn't merely the work of the fancy SSD, but also that of the PS5's potent Zen 2 CPU cores as well as some software optimizations. Players of GTA Online may recall that an enterprising developer found a simple optimization (arguably, a bugfix) that slashed loading times by 75%. Rockstar even paid out a bug bounty to the developer.
We still haven't heard back from Rockstar on when or if these improvements will be finding their way to the PC version of the game, nor whether there will be a charge for the update if they do. It seems likely that Rockstar is gauging the playerbase's reaction to such a thing. You can pick up the refreshed release on PS5 for $10 right now, or on Xbox Series XS for $20, but both prices will rise to $40 after three months, so get while the getting's good if you're not willing to wait a few years for GTA 6.

2023.03.30 12:20 throw_away_69969 I (NB/25) have been having an affair with a man (29) for a month.
How the fuck did I forget the most important part in the title!! This guy is MARRIED. Let’s call this guy Q. Very long backstory incoming.
Q and I met at a mutual friend’s get-together about a month ago. Our mutual friend described him to me as married and gay before we met. So I thought “lovely! Another LGBT person to befriend”!
Q came with a friend - but no husband. When Q arrived at the get-together, I was instantly attracted to him. And I knew that I shouldn’t be. But I told myself not to worry because nothing would come of our meeting anyway considering his sexuality and marital status. Well, after some time and getting to know you type conversation, I found out he was in fact, bisexual, and not actually gay as our friend has told me. So, that instantly opened up the potential for…certain possibilities in my mind. Throughout the evening, we chatted amongst the others, but both of us later on got overstimulated and came back to each other. He said he liked “our little corner” and talking to me, that my vibe was right, and we clicked right away, and he wasn’t used to that.
Our conversation had been inherently sexual throughout the evening, with us describing our kinks and fetishes pretty openly. Nobody seemed to hear us - and if they did, nobody seemed to care. As the evening progressed, it seemed as though he was giving me “the look”. You know, the type of lingering stare that says “I want to eat you up”. I looked down or off in another direction when he’d stare at me like that, hoping to not give him the idea that I was feeding into it. There were several tense moments of silence and staring all night.
At one point in the evening, Q ran out of smokes, and asked if anybody wanted to come “on an adventure” with him to the next door gas station to pick some up. I happily volunteered, and he smiled. Nobody else offered to come with. At this point in the evening, I went off into the other room to get my jacket and shoes. I wished to myself that he’d kiss me and fawned over his looks as I got ready. We left the apartment to get smokes and continued our banter. We got the smokes, and he gave me one to have. He lit his, then instead of passing me the lighter, gestured for me to hold up my cigarette in my mouth. He stood face-to-face with me and put his cigarette tip up against mine to light it, sort of like a kiss. I thanked him and we began walking back to our friend’s place. We were walking side by side, and said how nice it was to meet someone we each vibed with so quickly and naturally. He lovingly put an arm around me as we were walking, and I leaned into him. I suddenly felt like this could be more than him being friendly. We got to the front gate of our mutual friend’s place, and were still smoking. He then asks if he could ask me a weird question. I said that there was no such thing, and to go ahead.
He then asks if he could kiss me. I responded “I was hoping you’d ask”. We made out intensely, letting our cigarettes burn down to the butt while we made out and felt up on each other. I told him I wouldn’t tell anybody if he didn’t. He agreed. After some more making out, he suggested wrapping things up at the party and finding somewhere to go to get more intimate. I agreed. We came back to the party and chit-chatted for a little bit longer before Q made moves for us to head out. We said goodbye to everyone and went outside. After some more making out, we went to his car. We tried finding motels but nothing had any checkins at that time (around 3-4 am). So, we opted for the parking spot by his place for some reason. I wound up giving him oral sex until he came. We talked about everything, and he said he wanted to keep our “thing” going, and that he wanted to have sex with me as soon as he got the chance. I eagerly agreed, and we exchanged numbers before he dropped me off at home.
I’ve met some of his close friends, his husband, and his dogs. We’ve had sex a few times (in their apartment and a motel), and now I might be working with him at a new job he invited me to apply to, as I just lost my previous job. I still don’t feel guilty, and he seems to have no intentions of stopping. I’ve never done anything like this before. I’m not looking for help or advice. Criticize away - you have the right to do so.

2023.03.30 12:09 paraop96 [A4A]. I’ve got a few prompts I’d like to share!
- Street racing. I’ve always adored fast and furious Tokyo drift and I’d love to do an rp inspired by it. After being caught by the police in a street race gone wrong, maybe your friend sells you out, the event organisers set you up, something along those lines. Alas, you’re caught, and the only way you don’t go to jail is that you have to leave the country. You find yourself in Japan, living with a distant relative who isn’t able to provide you with much. You barely know the language, don’t have a lot of money, and are in a near completely foreign world. By complete chance, you stumble across a car meet in a parking lot. Intrigued, you walk around. You find a man/woman trying to fix his/her car or something like that, and you’re able to offer your expertise. Impressed, he/her takes you under his,her wing, and lends you one of his/her cars for a race. Unfortunately, you’re completely out of your league when it comes to the tight corners and bends of the togue style tracks in Japan and you wreck the car. The person trains you to be a better racer whilst also rebuilding a car.
- Medieval roleplay. I really like the idea of after his family being slain and captured after a valiant battle, the prince meets the princess of his captors. Maybe they fall in love secretly. I like the idea of him regaining his prestige in the gladiator arena, something like that.
- WW2 Parisian roleplay. We can play as whatever nationality I’m not fussy. Polish, Yugoslav, Greek, Russian, you can choose. Maybe we meet on the front line, maybe we knew each other before the war.
- A cyberpunk roleplay. A bit less of a noble roleplay. We could be bounty hunters, criminals, gangsters ect. I’m really excited to get talking with you all! Ps. I do work 3 days a week and I have uni twice a week, but I promise I’ll try to respond as soon as possible!

2023.03.30 12:01 autotldr Indonesia, booted as U-20 World Cup host, sees backlash against anti-Israel leaders
This is the best tl;dr I could make,
original reduced by 72%. (I'm a bot)
JAKARTA, Indonesia - Indonesian football players, fans and pundits reacted with sadness and anger Thursday after FIFA pulled the Under-20 World Cup from the host nation weeks before it was due to kick off, following protests against Israel's participation.
Indonesia and Israel do not have formal diplomatic relations, and support for the Palestinian cause in the world's most populous Muslim-majority nation runs high, fueling local opposition to hosting the Israeli team.
FIFA's decision to find a new host - thereby nixing Indonesia's automatic qualifying spot - puts the country's most popular sport back in the doldrums and facing another bout of isolation.
An Indonesian FA video showed players with heads bowed and their coach in tears after receiving the news late Wednesday that FIFA would seek a new host.
FIFA threatened further sanctions and could exclude Indonesia from 2026 World Cup qualifiers that begin in October.
"I am very disappointed because it has been my dream to watch Indonesia hosting a global football event," said 40-year-old supporter Jarnawi, who like many Indonesians goes by one name.
