Diaper Bag Recommendations for Infant and Toddler
2023.06.06 19:35 Nuggslette Diaper Bag Recommendations for Infant and Toddler
We have a standard Amazon diaper bag backpack, but my husband hates it. Now that we are adding a second to the mix, we really need a more efficient and effective diaper bag.
We go on hikes and to parks often, so a comfortable backpack style would be great. I’m just struggling to find one large enough that can organize everything.
What diaper bag do you love?

Monday:
- 11 a.m. Slept in since it’s a holiday and enjoyed a delicious breakfast with my boyfriend (J) of some chocolate chip banana bread my mom made. We don’t tend to spend weeknights at each other’s places, so we love our weekends together.
- 12:15 p.m. J heads back to his place to meal prep for the week and do chores. Always the lover of a good cheap find, I went to Goodwill for a 25% off sale. I purchased an Adidas duffel bag, a t-shirt, some unused candles, and an expansion pack for a card game my friends and I enjoy. $35
- 1:30 p.m. One of my core lunchtime necessities as of late is hummus. But specifically the Target brand original. Plus it’s cheap. I also needed other basic necessities: toothpaste, tissues, laundry items, and a prebiotic powder I take daily to control IBS symptoms. I stock up once every two months so this was a big trip. Target Circle had a coupon for one of the laundry items and $10 off on a purchase of $70 or more. $111.25
- 2:15 p.m. Back home laden with one Target bag worth over $100, I crack open my new container of hummus and make a turkey wrap with a side of carrots, an apple, and some veggie straws. I have this every day and it never gets old.
- 3:45 p.m. Watch an episode of Maid on Netflix before going to play video games online with J.
- 7:30 p.m. J and our friends hop online to play a multiplayer game for an hour or two before I jump off to eat. Chicken sausage, green beans, carrots, egg white wrap, and rice. My favorite dinner at the moment!
- 10:30 p.m. In bed and decided to start reading the monthly book club picked by J. Couldn’t put it down for a while but was asleep by 12:30 a.m.
- Total spent: $146.25
Tuesday:
- 7:45 a.m. Alarm goes off. Work after a 4 day weekend. Yay. Out of bed by 8:15. I work from home so I log in, check my emails, and go grab breakfast. I take my morning probiotics, vitamin D, and allergy medicine as a side to my morning blueberry bagel. After a slow morning online, I hit the exercise bike for a quick 15 minute ride. Shower, then a meeting.
- 11 a.m. Whip up my normal lunch of: turkey wrap, carrots, hummus, apple, and veggie straws. After lunch, I grab a couple of Reese’s Thins. Not as good, I know.
- 2 p.m. Work is slow today so I hop on my PC and play a few missions in my current favorite game. I have an oil change at 2 and groceries to pick up from Walmart after. At the oil change, they tell me I need to replace my wiper blades and cabin air filter. I can do that on my own and purchase the parts needed on Amazon. Car & groceries: $172.92
- 3:15 p.m. After my appointment, I hop back into my game and see some items from my Steam wishlist are on sale. I grab them as I’ve been wanting to get them for a while. $24.04
- 4 p.m. There’s a new Spider-Man movie coming out this week that I really want to see. Mentioned to J that we should go but tickets were a bit pricey since it was opening night. He offered to pay.
- 6:30 p.m. Same as the night before. I’m out of chicken sausage now and forgot to add them to my order this morning. Oh well.
- 8:30 p.m. Watch another episode of Maid while I eat. After the temperature cooled down for the night, I went for an hour-long walk around a nearby small lake. Get hissed at by geese and dive-bombed by a red-winged blackbird. Nature is beautiful.
- 11 p.m. In bed reading J’s book club pick. It’s right up my alley and this will be a breeze to get through. Asleep by 12:45 a.m.
- Total spent: $196.96
Wednesday:
- 7:45 a.m. My alarm goes off and I once again snooze until around 8:15. One of my cats makes her way into my room and bugs me until I get up. Turn on my work computer and go start my morning with a blueberry bagel and my medicine cocktail.
- 8:30 a.m. I jump in the shower (hair wash day) and get cleaned up to head to my monthly chiropractor appointment.
- 10:15 a.m. I pulled a muscle in my back just over a year ago and enjoyed my chiropractor visits, so I now do them monthly. This is the last time I’m going to prepay and switch to as-needed. Paid through the end of the year.
- 10:45 a.m. My chiropractor is next to a used-clothing store so I swing in. Attending a wedding at the end of June so I’ve been looking for an outfit. I don’t find one. I find others. Also a shirt for J. Everything I bought was half off! Nothing was over $7. Grabbed 4 things. $21.25
- 4:30 p.m. It was a very slow day at work, just tested some emails, so I spent a majority of the day gaming. My job goes through heavy phases and I’m in a big lull. I sign off for the day and head to the climbing gym.
- 6 p.m. After a short climbing session, my friend M and I go to an outdoor store to buy climbing harnesses. I have one but it doesn’t fit right and he has been renting one. We find the ones we want in store but see they’re cheaper online. He has a store membership so he pays and I Venmo him back. I’m selling my old harness (only used for 2 months) to another climbing friend for $50. Almost breaking even! $3.27
- 7:15 p.m. I arrive back home and make a sandwich for dinner. Cooking seems like too much work tonight. J is at a work event tonight, otherwise we usually climb together than cook a meal after. While eating, I turn on Into the Spiderverse to prepare for the second one tomorrow. It’s still too hot for a walk so I skip that tonight.
- 9:45 p.m. After the movie I watch some Good Mythical Morning episodes I’m behind on and munch on some mini marshmallows for dessert. I prep my camera equipment for an event I’m shooting tomorrow for work. As I get ready for bed I listen to an audiobook. I read for book club for the rest of the night. Asleep around 11:30.
- Total: $24.52
Thursday:
- 7 a.m. I get up early as I need to be at a work event by 10 a.m. I’m photographing it so I won’t have to work too hard. I say now.
- 9:15 a.m. I head out to be to the event a few minutes early to find street parking. The event lasts until 2, so I pay for 4 hours of parking. I could submit for reimbursement but eh, it's not much. $2.50
- 1:45 p.m. I did end up fully participating as well as photographing. We wrap early after sweating in the sun weeding and mulching for a low-income apartment complex. I head home to shower, nap, and relax. Work gave those who volunteered the rest of the afternoon off.
- 5:15 p.m. J arrives at my place after work and we head to see the new Spiderman movie. I pack us some homemade popcorn and various other treats from the pantry. Movie was 10000/10. Go see it. I knew about 45 seconds in that I wanted to see it again. Did not disappoint.
- 8:30 p.m. Despite the snacks, we are still hungry after the movie and decide to go to a local Japanese place. We go in to order and J graciously pays. When we go out, he tends to pay as I typically buy and make a fair amount of our home cooked meals. At first we were given the wrong order, which we realized when we got home. He headed back to get the right order so we got two sets of meals for the price of one! We had opened the first order to see if we liked it enough to deal but it wasn’t enough food for the both of us.
- 12:30 a.m. J stays over and we get to sleep just after midnight.
- Total: $2.50
Friday:
- 8 a.m. J’s alarm goes off but I sleep through it so he has to wake me up. We lounge in bed until his first meeting at 8:30. After his meeting, he leaves for work and I log on to my own. I have no meetings today and a very generous policy where we get Friday afternoon’s off during the summer. I plug away at some small projects I’ve put off for most of the week and log off around 1.
- 1:30 p.m. I went to check the mail as I had 3 deliveries coming today. All arrived! My internet bill came too which I usually throw away, but had a feeling I should open this one. I was right. My bill had gone up $10 because of some new policy I didn’t know about because I hadn’t read any of the last few months of bills. I updated what I needed to to get the price lowered again and spend the next hour researching a new provider but I’m stuck for my area. Ended up purchasing a router so I can return the company’s one and save some more money monthly. $96.72
- 3 p.m. I get a random email that a medical visit from over a year ago wasn’t going to be covered by insurance. I log into my account and see if it’s real, which it is, so unfortunately I pay for it. I don’t remember what the visit was for but insurance covered $0 of it. After I update my spending tracker. Thankfully it was a 3 paycheck month so I’m more than fine. Had a lot of surprising big expenses come up in May. $89
- 5:45 p.m. I leave for J’s so we can eat dinner together and watch an episode of the Last of Us (yeah, we’re a bit late on this one) before we head to the climbing gym.
- 10:30 p.m. We get back from climbing and have a craving for chocolate chip cookies. I help J make a small batch and we eat a few each. We watch the Last of Us and I fall asleep on the couch. Bed time at 12:30 a.m.
- Total: $185.72
Saturday:
- 9:45 a.m. I slept like the dead. J wakes me up as he’s on his way out to go have brunch with a friend. I slowly wake up and leave his place soon after to get my house cleaned before some friends come over.
- 12:30 p.m. J comes to my place after his brunch to help me clean before a double date with my high school best friend and her fiancé.
- 2:45 p.m. They arrive! We chat and play some card games. They leave around 5, so J and I dive back into Last of Us.
- 6:30 p.m. I reheated some leftover chicken from Thursday, frozen green beans, potatoes, carrots, and rice for dinner. We finish the season and discuss the show for a while before he heads home.
- 12:30 a.m. Bedtime!
- Total: $0
Sunday:
- 8:30 a.m. J and I are going to look at some houses today so in my excitement I don’t sleep very well. I get up after laying in bed for a few hours to get ready and go pick him up.
- 10:30 a.m. Open house tour commence! We see 4 houses before lunch time.
- 12:30 p.m. We decided to go to a local chicken restaurant and more than ate our fill. J paid. I dropped him back at his apartment and headed to visit my parents for the afternoon.
- 2 p.m. I arrive at my mom’s house and she dyes my hair. We used a bottle of dye I had purchased a few months back.
- 5 p.m. Game time! I hop on with J and his friends and we complete some missions in our go-to game. I stop to grab a quick snack soon after, still pretty full from our big lunch.
- 8 p.m. J hops off for a break and I do as well. He calls me right after leaving the main call and we chat about our week ahead and hang out while we do our own things.
- 9 p.m. I’m feeling very tired after not sleeping well this weekend so I go to get ready for bed. I stay up on TikTok for a while and get to sleep around 11.
- Total: $0
Food + Drink (Groceries): $64.28
Fun + Entertainment: $26.94
Home + Health: $187.21
Clothes + Beauty: $64.81
Transport + Vehicle Health: $109.34
Other: $99.99
Total: ~$556
This is NOT a typical week! Lots of medium things that added up happening at the end/beginning of a new month. That's life! When I buy things I use regularly, I often buy 2-3 more than I need at a time so that I don't have to get them as often. Unless J and I are together, I don't go out to eat to save money. I'm very lucky to work from home and save a lot of expenses that way. My job is pretty low-key and quiet most of the day, so I didn't detail too much about it this week.

2023.06.06 18:32 Zero-Fever Rs. 1.6 crore As a front-end engineer 😭
Kindly Read this article:
Meet Aditi Tiwari, A Patna Student Who Bagged INR 1.6 Crore Salary Package Job Offer From Facebook (msn.com) what is stopping fresher graduates from getting this package (is it college tag or skills). I came across this article while looking at edge browser's news feed.
TL;DR: Aditi Tiwari, a final year student at NIT Patna, has secured a job offer from Facebook with a record-breaking salary package of INR 1.6 crore. This package is unprecedented even for IIT and IIM students. NIT Patna has been achieving remarkable placement results, with a 110% overall placement rate in 2022. Aditi's achievement follows previous high-paying offers to NIT Patna students from companies like Google and Amazon. Despite the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on university placements, NIT Patna has witnessed an increase in high-paying job offers compared to the previous year.

2023.06.06 18:21 cambodia87 I’ve done it again, bought too much coffee
Man, I just can’t help myself when I travel or go to a new shop, to try some new beans, but now I have way too much coffee to get through as I am the sole bean addict in the house and I can only really have 1-2 cups per day.
What do you do when you bought too many beans? Freeze them? Find friends to push your beans on?
The one thing I definitely need to do is stop buying new beans until I get through some of these bags, so hopefully I can practice restraint.
Edit: I would also love to know if you have found good (preferably reusable) containers for freezing small doses of beans. Maybe 20g or so.

2023.06.06 17:57 CommercialKiwi2832 61 Hours in and feeling better already.
Hello everyone just thought I'd chime in and give my story this far. Im a 39 years old male. In good health minus the heart valves I had replaced 4 years ago when I got clean from needles and street drugs. Managed to stay clean for over a year until a 'friend' gave me a couple of those tiana bs pills. Said they were all natural. I should have known better with my previous experience with kratom and the dangers of that. Put me in wd after only using it 2 days. I was miserable, so I did the only thing I could think to do at the time and picked up a bag of kratom. That was that. 3 years later i was up to 40 gpd. My fiancee started taking it and still does, but is currently tapering and doing well and wants to quit very much. She also used to be on harder opiates so she knows kinda what she's in for. Anyways started switching strains and taking Black seed oil and agmatine about a month ago. I was immediately able to go from 6 to 7 grams five times a day and 9 to 10 grams as a night dose (plus sometimes a dose in the early am to go back to sleep)to 3 grams four times a day and 4.5 grams as a night dose. I am a quick withdrawaler so cutting the amount of doses was the harder part. Over the last month I cut it down to 2 grams 4 times a day and 3 grams at night. I took my last dose at 10 pm Saturday night. It has not been horrible. I have an arsenal of helpers all of which are legal and can be bought on Amazon. Also mind set, wanting to quit. Maybe watch the ReWired series before quitting. Start meditating. Listen to positive music. Illinium and The California Honeydrops although nothing alike have been two of my favorites. My arsonal of helpers are: Liposomal vit c both in liquid and capsule form (make sure sunflower and not soy based) take the fuck outa this lol, passion flower extract, Nootropics depot (ND from now on) Matrine, ND Supercritical Myrrh, ND Tetrahydromagnolol, ND Prima Vie Shilajit, ND Sabroxy, ND Lions Mane, ND fenugreek, ND Magtein, ND Cyracos lemon balm extract, agmatine, black seed oil, saffron extract, L-Tyrosine, NAC, bromelain, fisk oil, krill oil, L theanine, ionic zinc and copper, muscuna pruriens, kava, uridine and alpha gpc. I thonk thats it. Idk if its the combo or the mind set, but something is working. I'm outside tinkering in my garden, got the runs but havent crapped my pants yet. Just keep busy and keep your heads up. God bless.

2023.06.06 17:56 breathingwaves Some things that have helped me (long post)
Hi folks hope you’re all well and managing day to day - I know how rough it can be some days.
I wanted to share some of my tips that have helped me. I have lived with Hidradentis since I was about 12, when I entered puberty. I’m 31 now and I think I’ve finally got a handle of symptoms. I am in no way or any means in remission or flare-free. I think it’s just going to be part of my life forever.
All of my flares live on my butt as well as breasts. I've accepted it and have never had issues being intimate with people as a result. I always wear a two piece at my big size. My scars and flares are a part of me and part of being human. More of a personal thing but I'm tired of hiding!
I should preface this that I do live in a major city in the US. I have access to many providers/treatments.
I have been to two dermatologists, one who told me my condition was folliculitis, which did not make sense to me so I went out and looked for 2nd opinion. They confirmed Hidradenitis upon doing lab work to rule out other issues (PCOS, Syphillis, high testosterone, etc.) and visual examination. I am currently stage 1, my symptoms can range from mild (one or two active flares) to moderate (a few at a time + intense scarring).
I should also mention in this appointment I was - in my opinion - scare tactic'd into starting Humira which has been approved to treat HS. They basically told me that if I didn't treat my HS, the skin around my heart would become scarred and I'd die an early death. Idk how true that is though, it did not sound right to me. I know there are studies linking higher prevalence in heart disease in people with HS... but that's not a great extrapolation either because of the depression, anxiety and exhaustion and other autoimmune diseases we live with. If anyone in the thread can confirm/deny that'd be great because I don't know how true that is, and if they were telling me that to sell me meds. I have never been on Humira.
Additionally would like to add, since I not only have this autoimmune disorder (which is the method of which HS is treated like, an autoimmune disorder) I also have MS and the approach there is- you can't really diet your way out of an autoimmune disorder, although that works for some people, I have not found that changing my diet or water intake changes the amount or frequency in flares. I find as a woman, I peak in flares during PMS/shark week.
I am fortunate to have the means to spend this much $ on my skin and being formerly without options myself I thought I'd compile the list to save some time and money:
So far I have tried the following: - Clindamicyn: after the shower. This worked at first and eventually stopped working. Waste of my time and everyone elses. Did nothing for scars.
- Minocycline: I took this med and all I got was a nasty yeast infection (I was taking probiotics during also). This is the one that turned me all the way off of antibiotic therapy. They eventually just stop working or they cause other issues which are less worse than having HS.
- Spirolactone: Did absolutely nothing for me.
- Physical exfoliators:
- Anese That Booty Tho - this worked until it didn't. Great for calming but just overall did not see major changes in my skin. Great for someone with very early stage 1 bumps/basic acne there. This brand also does a boob scrub which is AMAZING!
- Mario Badescu Coconut Body Scrub - made my skin soft but did not work specifically for HS
- Chemical exfoliators/washes:
- Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel - okay this was a breakthrough. This was that girl. I had been using this on my face and had great results and was like... hm.. what if I tried this on my scars/spots? And I did, and after a few days it really started to clear. This wash is formulated for your face- it does have AHAs (Glycolic, Salicylic Acids) which I feel very much contributed to my symptoms subsiding. I would not recommend long-term since this is formulated for your face... however...
- Mario Badescu - A.H.A. BOTANICAL BODY SOAP - my fave. My go-to I have seen fast improvement on flares as well as improvement on scarring with this one. This is my favorite to use, it smells good, you can use it everywhere and it makes your skin very soft. This radically changed the appearance of my skin the most and for the longest time.
- I should also mention very important with the two above: YOU MUST WEAR SUNSCREEN WHILE USING BOTH PRODUCTS or any products with AHAs (glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid and citric acid).
- AHA 30% + BHA 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution - also known as that red viral mask, did not work at all for me as much as the above I also don't think this should be sold OTC, but that's another discussion.
- Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution - I've heard such great results on here about this product and I have to say I agree, even if it didn't help me personally. Lots of folks like to take this and put it in a travel spray bottle and spray after shower, and then moisturize after, which is a great technique and I would 100% recommend.
- Soaps
- Hibiclens - I saw some results from this, but this did nothing for the scarring. It was also harsh and drying for my skin and I would not use glycolic acid or salicylic acid with this since it's antiseptic. THAT SAID, I have seen a lot of praise for this product on here and it's one of the first drastic things I've tried so it will have a special place in my heart. Does not do anything for scars.
- 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne 4oz. Soap Bar - super basic, but also a great starter soap if you go to the gym and your flares are triggered by sweat. This was a must-have in my gym bag.
- Noble Formula 2% Pyrithione Zinc (ZnP) Original Emu Bar Soap, 3.25 oz - sort of worked. I wouldn't say as quickly as I liked. Did not do anything for my scars. But did calm down the skin.
- Sprays
- Lotions/creams
- Butt Acne Clearing Lotion for Body, Back, Bum, & Thigh - Special Acne Treatment Cream Formula Clears Pimples, Spots, Ingrown Hairs, Razor Burn, Bumps, Blackheads, and Blemishes. Vegan & Cruelty Free. - by Green Heart Labs, Mfg by THE LAB & CO. - I like her but she smells....not the best? I don't know if I've gotten a bad batch twice. I love that it has arnica, lactic acid as well as calendula in it which are all very soothing. Very good product to try when you're first starting, doesn't hurt to try.
- Cayenne Pepper Salve - Heather Grace Skincare - I like using this product when I have a really bad flare and can't get a hot water bottle on it: "Our Cayenne Pepper Salve is a combination of cayenne pepper infused coconut oil, Arnica oil, menthol, and Shea butter. Arnica oil is known for its anti-inflammatory and circulation-boosting properties, making it an ideal addition to this salve." Great ingredients and just works. I like to put it on overnight to those large boils/bumps that are painful.
- Natural Remedies
- Hot water bottle - I use this one: samply Hot Water Bottle with Knitted Cover because it's non-latex (I have an allergy to latex) and I use it when I have large boils/breakouts and it is amazing at making them smaller. I would say this 100% works, so please when you have a breakout try this!
- Warm/Hot soaks - same as above, although some people get triggered by moisture, definitely works similar to hot water bottle and relaxing for any spots where you cant put the water bottle or Cayenne pepper salve
- Cool packs - definitely provide relief for the painful/itchy combo!
- Beach days - sitting on the shore, the salt water, sun and exfoliating sand definitely helps out with those spots for me for sure. I head to the nude beach at various points of the summer and it's been great for me to go yearly to have some relief
This is all I can think of for now! My go-to routine is wash in the shower with the
Mario Badescu AHA soap, after I spray with the
Bliss Body Acne spray and then I moisturize with
Embryolisse Body Lotion. This has been working for me for a few weeks and I've noticed a reduction in scarring and flares. Again, not 100% effective, meaning I am not cured, my skin isn't 100% clear, but this has definitely relieved a lot of the discomfort I've felt over the years!

This is a DS warehouse, unprofessional, unorganized. I witnessed stuff like one particular PA walking around cussing all the time, a Learning ambassador twerking in front of managers, PAs and associates at the dock, an associate making a video call during pick and stage while a PA was present he didn’t give a damn, an associate sitting on the jiffies on go cart while unloading on the belt because they are tired. For the stow they don’t assign aisles, they just tell you for example to go to A and you stow wherever lanes you want, which makes some people never touch OVs, mess up the bags and move to an other aisle. they don’t have minimum stow rate so you can go as low as 50 UPH and the highest is usually around 150 and 200 UPH, you see associates stowing without ring scanner for the whole shift. Everyone prefer to stow than pick the buffer here because of that. ( if you think you suck or keep getting write ups, bothered for stow rates, you are just at the wrong Amazon and must transfer here ASAP ). One night a manager said « you guys are killing it, we have a high stow rate of 250 ». Anyone can become an ambassador even the worst, so the training is poor and all the associates who can do better were transferred here from other stations, don’t bother asking an ambo or some PAs for help or question they usually don’t know either. Meanwhile in other stations when you are a good stower, they keep you on the same path all the time, here the guy who hits 400+ UPH stow rate was never sent to stow again. Safety from dock is a big mess, we will have a lot of empty Gaylords some on the floor, palette jack unattended or in the right place, truck unloader who will just push the go carts from trailer( someone once almost got hit). Anyone experiencing the same thing elsewhere ? Is the warehouse not getting a check up by higher ups?

2023.06.06 16:46 UnhappyInterests World Environment Day is coming, did you know humans produce 300 million tonnes of plastic waste every year?
Here are some small steps for a greener planet:
- Use sustainable alternatives: Opt for reusable shopping bags like canvas or foldable bags to reduce the use of plastic bags.
- Avoid purchasing over-packaged products: Choose products with minimal or no packaging whenever possible. Buying in bulk can reduce packaging materials and minimize plastic waste.
- Use a personal water bottle: Install a water purifier at home and use your own water bottle to directly access clean and purified water, both at home and on the go, instead of frequently buying plastic bottled water. It's both environmentally friendly and healthy.
- Advocate for environmental awareness: Share knowledge and experiences on reducing plastic usage with others, encouraging them to take environmentally friendly measures. Get involved in environmental activities like beach cleanups or plastic recycling campaigns to raise awareness about reducing plastic pollution.

2023.06.06 16:10 Pauling54 Buying Advice - Backpack for EDC, gym and Weekend trips
I am looking for a new backpack since my Patagonia Arbor 26 L got a cut on the bottom. I was quite happy with it but never liked how saggy it looks on the back. I have been reading this sub a lot, but have not found the one yet.
Basically, I am looking for an EDC bag, I commute by bike to the office and transport a 15" laptop, a water bottle and lunch. Occasionally, I want to take my gym clothes and use the bag for short weekend trips. So around 26 L would be cool. Therefore, I thought a roll-top or an extendable bag might fit, so it's small when the bag is almost empty but it seems those are not often discussed here.
I like the minimalist design of Aer, Patagonia and Timbuk2, but I am from Europe, so Aer and many other US-only brands are expensive to import. I want a bag with mainly one large compartment and a few additional ones for small stuff.
If I am super happy, I am willing to spend up to 250 € / $.
I almost ordered the Fjallraven Ulvö 23, but it might be too small. Then I found the Timbuk2 NEver Check Expendable Backpack, which seems to check all my boxes. Also, it has got some good reviews on Amazon and youtube, but it was rarely mentioned on Reddit despite that is out for 4 years. Am I missing something or is there an obvious alternative? I would appreciate some help, thank you in advance!

I just received the Acorn Red version of
this bag and I think it may be perfect for me. $51 US.
I have always wanted a full zipper at the top of my totes, but this had the fold-over with the magnetic clasp --and I think it will hold all my stuff without rolling out. Has an exterior side zippered side pocket as well.
And the shoulder bag straps are critical for me. Just not an only tote straps kinda gal.

| https://preview.redd.it/ehyo07tuee4b1.jpg?width=1202&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6bc06120bc1dd5ab6cf865640db657cfb6d7f06 Embrace localization to unlock new opportunities and connect with consumers on a deeper level. By harnessing the power of consumer-generated web data, businesses can gain valuable insights into local preferences, cultural nuances, and consumer behavior in specific countries. This blog equips you with the knowledge and strategies to effectively navigate these localization challenges and optimize your business's performance in the Japanese and Chinese markets. The Importance of Localization: Gaining Insights for Successful Market Expansion Web data collection guides have become invaluable resources as vendors seek to expand their business into new markets. The key reason for this is the recognition that consumer preferences and trends vary significantly from one country to another. Here's why localization is essential: Price Sensitivity: Price points that attract and convert American consumers may repel customers in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and vice versa. Localization enables businesses to understand the price sensitivity of their target market, allowing them to set competitive pricing strategies and maximize profitability. Tailored Marketing Approach: Consumers in different regions initiate their buying journey with distinct Google search queries and respond differently to marketing campaigns. By localizing their marketing efforts, businesses can optimize their messaging, channels, and tactics to effectively engage and resonate with the target audience. Cultural Relevance: Product trends and popular items vary significantly between countries. For example, adult women in China demand Hello Kitty paraphernalia more than their British counterparts. Localization helps businesses identify cultural preferences and adapt their product offerings to align with local tastes, ensuring relevance and increasing customer appeal. Market Entry Strategy: Gaining concrete insights into new markets is crucial for developing a successful market entry strategy. Web data collection provides valuable information on consumer behavior, competitor analysis, and market trends, enabling businesses to make informed decisions and tailor their expansion plans accordingly. Localization is vital for businesses expanding into new markets. By understanding and adapting to each country's unique preferences and trends, vendors can position themselves for success and establish a strong market presence. Collecting Localized eCommerce Web Data: Overcoming Geographical Restrictions Obtaining accurate and relevant insights into consumer trends within your target geographical location can be challenging when scraping data from eCommerce platforms like Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or Etsy's local sites. The issue arises when these sites block access or provide incorrect data if the origin IP differs from the target site's IP. To overcome this challenge, it is crucial to utilize proxies corresponding to the desired geographical locations. For instance, if you are located in Germany but targeting audiences in the United States and Great Britain, using the United States and UK proxies becomes essential. These proxies enable you to leverage Residential, ISP, Mobile, and Datacenter IP addresses originating from the US/UK. By employing Residential proxies, which are real IPs belonging to individuals residing in specific locations like Dallas, New York, London, or Birmingham, you can request data as if you were a local consumer. For example, if you want to retrieve the price of a laptop bag on Amazon for a consumer in London, the request will be routed through an actual Londoner who has opted into the proxy network. This ensures highly accurate responses, such as £12. In contrast, attempting to access the same information with your German IP address would likely result in distorted data, potentially showing an average price of £15. By utilizing appropriate proxies aligned with your target market's geographical locations, you can collect localized eCommerce web data accurately and effectively. This lets you gain valuable insights into consumer trends, pricing strategies, and market dynamics, supporting informed decision-making for your business expansion or market analysis efforts. High-Impact eCommerce Data Points to Collect for Business Insights Collecting open-source web data can provide valuable insights for various eCommerce use cases. Here are some of the high-impact data points that businesses in the digital commerce space often focus on: Pricing Strategy Web Data: To effectively enter a new market, gathering data on competitors' pricing strategies is crucial. This includes understanding which price points convert well, when discounts are applied, and how holidays or special occasions impact pricing. For instance, collecting data on promotions during Chinese New Year and Golden Week in China can inform your pricing strategy. Additionally, analyzing specific Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) and their correlation with characteristics like color, brand, size, or style can uncover pricing patterns unique to different regions. For example, in Japanese culture, blue products may command higher retail prices due to their perceived luckiness. Inventory and Product Discovery Web Data: Collecting competitors' catalogs allows businesses to discover new products and categories that align with market demand. Cross-referencing competitor data allows you to identify popular items in specific regions and incorporate them into your offerings. Real-time monitoring of competitor product introductions and stock availability provides insights for proactive market positioning and capturing market share. Consumer Sentiment and Search Trend Web Data: Social media and search trends are essential for understanding consumer sentiment and identifying emerging trends. Monitoring influencers, engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments), and search engine queries can highlight popular products or themes among specific consumer segments. Leveraging this data helps businesses align their offerings with current trends and capitalize on high-intent traffic. Product Ranking and Market Share Web Data: Tracking product rankings on local and global eCommerce websites, considering local IPs, and analyzing shopper engagement data such as reviews and likes provide insights into a product's performance and market share. By correlating these data points, businesses can clearly understand their product's position in a specific market. For example, a sausage cooker may have a small market share in Brazil but enjoy significant popularity in Germany. By collecting and analyzing these high-impact eCommerce data points, businesses can make informed decisions regarding pricing, product offerings, market-entry, and customer targeting. These insights create a competitive edge and drive success in new markets. Conclusion Leveraging eCommerce data from different countries is valuable for making informed decisions on product stocking, marketing campaigns, and pricing strategies tailored to specific target audiences. This is achievable through collecting consumer and competitor-generated web data, enabling businesses to gain crucial insights and maximize their market effectiveness. 2023.06.06 14:56 English_and_Thyme Help sourcing wholemeal flour
Hi there,
I'm trying to recreate a brown soda bread recipe and I can't find course wholemeal flour anywhere. A bag of it is almost $20.00 on Amazon! Does anyone know how I could get my hands on a bag without paying so much?
I tried using regular whole wheat flour in the recipe but it's much too fine and yields a really gummy texture.
Thank you!
