2023.03.22 05:36 ben81PRO Hong Kong: the truth is out.. Thoughts of HK 2019 and now..
https://socialistchina.org/2022/07/15/hong-kong-the-truth-is-out/ On his first visit back to Hong Kong since 2019, long-term East Asian resident, and Friends of Socialist China Advisory Group member, Kenny Coyle writes that he found a city becalmed. “Rarely”, he observes, “has Western mainstream propaganda so successfully shrouded the truth about a city and society as open as Hong Kong.” Kenny clarifies the meaning behind China’s insistence that Hong Kong was never a British colony, but rather a Chinese territory under illegal British occupation. His article, which also features an interview with Nixie Lam, a Legislative Council member from the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB), the territory’s largest and most influential patriotic political party, is full of useful information. It was originally published in the Morning Star and we are pleased to reprint it here. Hong Kong marked the 25th anniversary of its return to Chinese sovereignty with Chinese president Xi Jinping appearing in the city to witness the inauguration of the Chinese territory’s new leadership headed by John Lee.
The largely indoor ceremony had been forecast to take place amid a mild tropical typhoon, but for the past three years Hong Kong has been battered by quite different kinds of storms.
Xi’s visit takes place after an unprecedented period of turmoil. The first stage beginning in 2019 was characterised by a wave of initially peaceful mass protests against extradition legislation, which rapidly spiralled into violent anti-China protests.
The second stage by the ongoing battle to control the Covid pandemic in the city.
In my first visit since 2019, Hong Kong certainly seems becalmed. The city’s MTR rail network is back to pristine perfection. The political arson that saw 138 of the city’s 161 stations vandalised (including the deliberate destruction of lifts for the disabled and essential safety equipment) during the 2019 protests has long been cleaned up.
Temperature and Covid checks are carried out routinely at restaurant and shopping areas, with minimal inconvenience, although the city continues to enforce a seven-day quarantine on incoming passengers from overseas.
The image in Western media of a city writhing under a police state is belied by the reality on the ground.
Bars and restaurants are busy, as any five-minute evening walk around my Tsim Sha Tsui neighbourhood in Kowloon shows, supermarket shelves are full and whatever the talking heads of the local CNN or BBC bureaus would have you believe about “threats to freedom” on screen, they still somehow manage to prop up the main bar in the Foreign Correspondents Club each evening after their shifts.
Rarely has Western mainstream propaganda so successfully shrouded the truth about a city and society as open as Hong Kong’s.
The 2019 peaceful protests degenerated into the ugliest side of the anti-China movement, with black-shirted groups attacking anything and anyone that failed to kow-tow to their agenda.
Trade union offices, political parties and even those whose only crime was speaking the standard putonghua (Mandarin) version of Chinese in public were targeted for mob attacks.
Living in the neighbouring Special Administrative Region of Macao during this time, I not only witnessed the extremist antics at first hand on visits to Hong Kong (for example during their brief blockade of the city’s immigration department) but could watch shocking broadcasts of the petrol-bombers and barricade builders live-streamed on Hong Kong TV channels.
Just as shocking was the absence of these easily available images on BBC or CNN broadcasts.
A more recent manufactured furore in the British media has been over Hong Kong textbooks being “rewritten” in relation to British rule in Hong Kong prior to China reassuming sovereignty in 1997.
The assumption, of course, is that Chinese history can only be accurately understood through a Western lens.
As if to illustrate the enormous diversity of the British press, the following headlines appeared on the issue: “China rewrites history of Hong Kong with textbooks that deny British rule” (Telegraph, June 14); “China rewrites Hong Kong textbooks to deny Britain ever ruled the city” (Independent, June 15); and slightly more accurately — “China rewrites textbooks to insist Hong Kong was never a colony” (Times, June 15); “New Hong Kong textbooks ‘will claim city never was a British colony’” (Guardian, June 15).
The average reader would be forgiven for viewing this another ridiculous example of CPC censorship, an Orwellian erasure of the well-known history of British administration in Hong Kong.
However, the proposed texts from the Hong Kong education department merely restate the longstanding positions of not only the People’s Republic of China (and that of the previous Republic of China, it should be said) but also that of the United Nations.
In 1972, one year after the PRC took China’s seat at the UN, the PRC successfully removed Hong Kong and Macao (then under Portuguese fascist administration) from the list of colonised territories.
Hong Kong was not to be considered a British colony, it was a Chinese territory under illegal British occupation, an extremely important distinction in China’s eyes.
People’s China never established a diplomatic or consular presence in British-ruled Hong Kong, believing that this would legitimise British rule.
Instead, the office of the New China News Agency (better known today as Xinhua) was the de facto centre of contacts between the British authorities and the PRC government within the territory.
The issue of Hong Kong’s pre-1997 status has become more urgent recently, after the British government and media falsely claimed that the Sino-British Declaration of 1984, signed by the Thatcher government and China, somehow gave Britain some special rights to intervene in Hong Kong affairs after 1997.
The text of the declaration clearly states the opposite: 1997 marked the return of undivided Chinese sovereignty over Hong Kong.
Subsequent developments, including the much-belated extension of national security legislation in 2020 are entirely consistent with the principle of “One Country, Two Systems” first outlined by Deng Xiaoping in the 1980s and are in any case covered by provisions in an annex to the Basic Law, Hong Kong’s mini-constitution.
But if Western eyes are on the past, China is looking forward. Plans are in place to create a Greater Bay Area, encompassing the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao and nine major cities in Guangdong province.
The aim is to use the synergy of these southern Chinese cities to create a dynamic economic hub of around 70 million people that will eventually dwarf most national and regional economies.
Many people in Hong Kong believe the city’s future lies in closer co-operation not in conflict with the rest of China.
Nixie Lam, a member of Hong Kong’s legislative council (Legco) and a representative of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong (DAB), the largest and most influential party within the patriotic camp, holds to this perspective.
She believes the new administration led by Hong Kong chief executive John Lee has the opportunity to put the territory back on the right track.
Lee, who takes office on July 1, has already outlined a platform that the future government will set clear targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for selected tasks within the first 100 days of his new administration.
Some of this is designed to streamline government functioning, but he has also pledged to accelerate land and housing development, shorten the waiting time for public housing and address the city’s vast wealth gap.
“Hong Kong has wasted a lot of time and opportunities over the past few years. I see very high expectations among Hong Kong citizens. We have missed out on a lot. Where are we going to develop and to excel is the key, but time is very limited,” stresses Lam, a former grassroots district councillor.
“Perhaps that’s why Lee came up with his 100 days KPI promise, to show he would make visible changes in different aspects of policies and strategies.
“The new administration is formed by various well seasoned politicians, administrators, together with some industry leaders. It shows the new administration wants to restart Hong Kong and work together as a team.
“I’ve joined working groups scrutinising the new government structure. If you look closely, it’s easy to see that they really want to tackle some of the unresolved issues we face by bringing outside experts into the administration.”
Lam, herself a graduate of the University of Queensland in Australia, is nonetheless tired of Western countries continually lecturing Hong Kong.
“It’s boring to hear that democracy or One Country, Two Systems is dead. For those who live in Hong Kong, we know clearly who killed our democracy in 2019.
“Rioters and mobs were everywhere destroying public facilities, paralysing railway systems and so on but they were called ‘Freedom Fighters’ by Western countries. These double standards are not new in Hong Kong,” she insists.
“Hong Kong citizens know what’s best for our city. It is not begging overseas countries to sanction our city, it is not calling for American troops to take over our city, and it is definitely not the violent ‘democracy’ that they embraced.
“The city has been stablised. Ordinary citizens do not need to worry about being targeted by extremists any more. Discussions are no longer highly polarised but focus more on which strategy is best for the city.
“I guess that some people in Western countries do not want to see that our life is getting back to normal. People in Hong Kong are more focused on our Covid strategy and want to find more targeted solutions, finding a way that will balance reopening the city with ensuring people’s lives and health are protected,” she says.
Despite the challenges, Lam is clear about the way forward: “It is for us, Hong Kong citizens to work jointly toward rebuilding our city.”

2023.03.20 13:08 RunawayGlobalWarming The belief that 1.5C "future warming" will be "safe" and the so-called experts spreading that misinformation and so much more
While the rhetoric has been quite adamant for years that 1.5C "future warming" will be "safe", how can that possibly be accurate when according to the very "experts" making that claim, we are only at something like 1.2C today, yet shit is already fucked? More importantly, why are we still hearing it and why has there been no critical analysis of the most harmful piece of misinformation we have heard on the climate, that there has been a
safe amount of anything (warming, emissions, other pollutants, species loss, environmental degradation, etc.) remaining these last few decades? Oh, there has been plenty written about the viability of that meaningless target, but little about what a terrible guess it was for
safe or the groupthink of the so-called experts who have systematically downplayed both the severity and imminence of our present-day, full-blown, climate crisis and in doing so, prevented any meaningful climate action from occurring.
I fundamentally disagree with the idea that there is such a thing as an expert at predicting the future. That desire has been present throughout human history and while their precious models can get some things right, some of the time, so could the Oracle of Delphi. Central to the concept of science is experimentation, the testing of hypotheses, and that cannot be done for a prediction about the future--all you can do is wait and see if it comes true. Lacking the ability to test their predictions climate modellers, like many in academia, turn to the statistical practice of Null Hypothesis Significance Testing (NHST) in order to be able to perform a simulacrum of the scientific method. While criticisms have dogged NHST since its inception and in recent years
many have come to blame it as the cause of their field's "replication crisis", the practice persists
despite growing calls to end it because it is the only link fields like economics, psychology, and all forms of computer modelling have to their claim that they are a science and the stronger authority that designation carries. The worst part is that NHST is typically taught so poorly to non-statisticians that it is often not done correctly.
In his 2010 study Maarten Ambaum found: We tested a recent, randomly selected issue of the Journal of Climate for at least one instance in each article of misusing a significance test to quantify the validity of some physical hypothesis. The Journal of Climate was not selected because it is prone to include such errors, but because it can safely be considered one of the top journals in climate science. In that particular issue, we observed misuse of significance tests in about three-quarters of the articles; a randomly selected issue published 10 years prior showed such misuses of significance tests in about half of the articles.
Which is common wherever NHST is (ab)used.
In his 2021 paper, Theodore Shepherd drew upon a psychologist's observation that that field treats NHST as a 'statistical ritual' to ask if it is any different in the climate "sciences", writing:
Nicholls (2000) and Ambaum (2010) both provide detailed assessments showing widespread use of NHST in climate publications. This practice does not appear to have declined since the publication of those papers; indeed, my impression is that it has only increased, exacerbated by the growing dominance of the so-called 'high-impact' journals which enforce the statistical rituals with particular vigour, supposedly in an effort to achieve a high level of scientific rigour.
...
I would add that Gigerenzer's insightful comment about "identification with social groups" may also apply to climate scientists, in that statistical rituals become a working paradigm for certain journals and reviewers. I suspect that I am not alone in admitting that most of the statistical tests in my own papers are performed in order to satisfy these rituals, rather than as part of the scientific discovery process itself.
...
Gigerenzer shows that NHST as described above, is a bastardized hybrid of Fisher's null hypothesis testing and Neyman-Pearson decision theory and has no basis even in orthodox frequentist statistics. According to Fisher, a null hypothesis test should only be performed in the absence of any prior knowledge, and before one has even looked at the data, neither of which applies to the typical applications in climate science.
The more things change the more they stay the same and today's pseudoscientific predictive computer modelling is merely the latest in a long line of attempts to do the impossible. Guessing at the future is not a science regardless of the confirmatory rituals performed! That the journals enforce the ritual so
vigorously while in at least one randomly chosen instance a large majority of the articles didn't even do it properly, would be absurd if it weren't so expected.
Ultimately, the debate over what is and isn't a science is, like the field of climatology itself, purely academic. So long as the entirely fraudulent field of "climate-economics" is allowed to exist, let alone continue to dominate the top, policy "informing", level of the discussion, nothing the climatologists do matters, although it's arguable the modelling never mattered since even perfectly accurate models would confer no actual ability to affect the course of the climate crisis we have inflicted on this planet and
it was never necessary to guess at the future to know what we need to be doing today.
Founded by the charlatan William Nordhaus, "climate-economics" is bad, even by the wretched standards of the intellectually, academically, ethically, and morally bankrupt religion of economics. In researching his work, Steve Keen concluded that it, "can be characterized as 'making up numbers to support a pre-existing belief': specifically, that climate change could have only a trivial impact upon the economy." In my opinion, the only thing that needs to happen at any future COPout is for all attendees to be forced to sit down and read Keen's paper,
The appallingly bad neoclassical economics of climate change, since they seem to be unfamiliar with it even though it is one of the most important ever written on the climate. It's neither very long nor technical because it doesn't need to be, which is something Keen mentions: He thought he was going to be writing a dry paper about discount rates and the suitability of modelling techniques, instead he discovered that Nordhaus' work is so appallingly bad that it doesn't pass any sort of smell test and yet it has served as the basis for the field that has "informed" everything we have done, or more accurately not done, on the climate.
The fact that the most pointed criticisms of the farce that is "climate-economics" came from one of the very few economists out there with a clue, rather than a climatologist, is alarming because Nordhaus' "research" is founded on assumptions like 87% of the economy will be unaffected because it occurs indoors (something that made it into the IPCC's AR5!) and that the weak, but "statistically significant", correlation between average temperature and gross state product across the USA today can be used to predict the impact of global warming on the economy of the future. Did not a single climatologist look into his work before accepting it as valid? Hell, with him declaring that 4C warming is what would be optimal for the con-on-you-and-me in his acceptance lecture for the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in the Economic Arts, you don't even need to dig into his "research" to know that
he is clueless of both topics. Which is a major problem because Nordhaus is the originator of today's belief in one-point-five thanks to
his "first intuition" in the '70s that 2C warming would be "safe"... for the economy. That remained the target for years, even being codified in 2010, and was only dialed back in Paris when a group of Exploited Nations that the predictions for sea-level rise said would be largely underwater at 2C warming objected and refused to sign anything that would see them cease to exist, even if we were successful. One-point-five basically didn't exist in the literature before it was added to the political system in Paris (for example it is not even mentioned in the previously linked 2014 article on climate change's "speed limit" of 2C) because no honest climatologist viewed it as even possible and while the studies performed subsequently would confirm that 1.5 is indeed a lower number than 2, both are terrible, unfounded, guesses at
safe. That's it though, the opinions of a charlatan and the belief that global warming = sea-level rise... our "expert" risk assessment has all the depth and breadth as the one provided by that banker who went viral last year. No wonder they have failed so miserably to bend the Keeling curve.
One-point-five isn't even the first estimation of what would be
safe. That was an atmospheric CO2 concentration of 350 ppm which was an increase of 70 over the pre-industrial figure of 280. With hindsight, that was a much better guess at
safe but we passed that threshold for the final time over three decades ago. That we frequently hear the "experts" babbling that there is a "carbon budget" remaining to us today, in the era of Faster Than Expected and the yearly "thousand-year" storm, is unforgivable. That wasn't true thirty years ago, let alone when they invented the term after we had nearly succeeded in doubling-down on the emissions. They may be able to rationalize away their goalpost moving by saying "The Science" has changed since then, that just means that "The Science" and reality are going in opposite directions as the climate crisis is already worse today than any "serious" prediction for 2100.
There is an interesting quote in the Keen paper from a scientist responding to a Nordhaus survey question back in 1994, before the economists succeeded in hijacking the climate conversation and when Nordhaus was still including actual scientists in his surveys, rather than just other e-conmen as he did later on:
I must tell you that I marvel that economists are willing to make quantitative estimates of economic consequences of climate change where the only measures available are estimates of global surface average increases in temperature. As [one] who has spent his career worrying about the vagaries of the dynamics of the atmosphere, I marvel that they can translate a single global number, an extremely poor surrogate for a description of the climatic conditions, into quantitative impacts of global economic conditions.
Despite being considered the most important metric in modern, economics dominated, climate "science", average surface temperature is, in fact, "an extremely poor surrogate for a description of the climatic conditions," as confirmed by the best piece of actual climate science we have seen in ages,
Song et al. (2022). The authors of that study examined the trends in surface equivalent potential temperature (Thetae_sfc) which is a more comprehensive metric than just temperature alone because it also incorporates humidity. Their most interesting finding is that rather than the Arctic warming x-times faster than the rest of the planet as is commonly claimed (what's it up to now? 4x?), "In other words, the Earth is heated more uniformly when measured by Thetae_sfc." That we could expect higher humidity which in turn would cause more extreme weather is, "one of the most robust findings of most if not all climate model studies," and something the models actually got right, yet it is only at this late stage that someone finally got around to examining this and despite the paper being published in the prestigious journal PNAS & receiving decent media coverage at the time, it appears to have had no impact and already been forgotten as it does not conform to the field's groupthink. Rather it calls into question what it is they've wasted their time on these past few decades since
they aren't even using the best available metric. While the history of science is one of remarkable intellects making amazing discoveries, it is also a history of egomaniacs, charlatans, and pigheadedness which is why physicist Max Planck famously quipped "science advances one funeral at a time." The bad actors only get weeded out with time and through free and open debate. Unfortunately, when it comes to the climate not only are we out of time, but the debate has been anything but free, open, or, frankly, reality-based. Censorship permeates everything they do, from our "gold standard" in climate "science", the IPCC, which for years has censored all of the alarming parts from it's own reports, down to the individual level where, outside of a few notable exceptions, the ones that have not repeated the lies often enough to believe in them self-censor to avoid the dreaded "alarmist" label.
There were 50,000 people in Paris and despite numerous reports of discontent,
there was only one, Kevin Anderson, with the courage to speak out publicly against that failure. It will forever be to their shame that that death sentence for most complex life on this planet did not cause a schism in the field, so it is always worth listening to one of the few who has been honest with us,
especially when he says things like:
I've only really become aware of the misleading and dangerous influence of some senior academics on their earlier career colleagues over the past two years. It was brought to my attention at one of the big climate negotiations (COPs) I was attending. Chatting to those without grey hair, it became increasingly clear many of them were being reprimanded for asking difficult questions by their senior colleagues and supervisors. I really found this hard to believe. But the more I asked about this the more I realized I'd been living in a naive bubble unaware of how vibrant academic debate driven by younger academic candidates is being deliberately stifled.
In a sane world, that interview would have spawned at least one government inquiry but when the field possesses, "a deep institutional systemic bias towards aligning [their] conclusions within the boundaries of the status quo," why would it? They are already telling our governments what they want to hear and any real investigation would just reveal that the emperor has no clothes. Besides, that, "[they’ve] chosen to forgo [their] academic independence for the appeal of being relevant within a debate [their] own analysis tells [them] is irrelevant," falls squarely on the so-called scientists.
Anderson also talks at length about something us outsiders have heard quite a bit, especially in recent years: That many of his colleagues
are as alarmed as he is but the culture of censorship, intimidation, and ridicule has them too afraid to speak out, concluding that, "Typically it is more senior academics and others who hold these conflicting public and private positions." For another example of this, Bill McGuire said in
an interview last year:
I know a lot of people working in climate science who say one thing in public but a very different thing in private. In confidence, they are all much more scared about the future we face, but they won't admit that in public. I call this climate appeasement and I believe it only makes things worse. The world needs to know how bad things are going to get before we can hope to start [!!!] to tackle the crisis.
I call it cowardice and wish the honest ones would start naming names. For one more example, it also made an appearance in
this rare display of contrition from three climate scientists apologizing for their roles in promulgating the "net carbon zero" myth:
In private, scientists express significant scepticism about the Paris Agreement, BECCS, offsetting, geoengineering and net zero. Apart from some notable exceptions, in public we quietly go about our work, apply for funding, publish papers and teach. The path to disastrous climate change is paved with feasibility studies and impact assessments.
Rather than acknowledge the seriousness of our situation, we instead continue to participate in the fantasy of net zero. What will we do when reality bites? What will we say to our friends and loved ones about our failure to speak out now?
That article also has this passage about the central role "climate-economics" has played:
It was around that time [1997] that the first computer models linking greenhouse gas emissions to impacts on different sectors of the economy were developed. These hybrid climate-economic models are known as Integrated Assessment Models. They allowed modellers to link economic activity to the climate by, for example, exploring how changes in investments and technology could lead to changes in greenhouse gas emissions.
They seemed like a miracle: you could try out policies on a computer screen before implementing them, saving humanity costly experimentation [WHAT DID THEY SAVE US?!?]. They rapidly emerged to become key guidance for climate policy. A primacy they maintain to this day.
Unfortunately, they also removed the need for deep critical thinking. Such models represent society as a web of idealised, emotionless buyers and sellers and thus ignore complex social and political realities, or even the impacts of climate change itself. Their implicit promise is that market-based approaches will always work. This meant that discussions about policies were limited to those most convenient to politicians: incremental changes to legislation and taxes.
Which is why, on the balance, I think it is a good article even if it contains blatant misinformation like: "Relying on untested carbon dioxide removal mechanisms to achieve the Paris targets when we have the technologies to transition away from fossil fuels today..." That is what Kevin Anderson was referring to when he said, "Worse still, [his colleagues] frequently point to idealised technical solutions, yet often with little understanding of either the technologies or their practical deliveries..." because there simply is no replacement for the fossil fuels and the belief that Green BAU is desirable, let alone even possible, is another of the harmful lies we have been fed by our so-called experts for the sole purpose of delaying real action.
That article also brings me back to a question I have wondered occasionally over the years: What even goes into the typical 'climatology' education? Do they have to spend so much time bringing students up to speed on the esoteric technobabble of climate modelling that they never get around to teaching them any real science? Because I would think you need a strong grounding in the three physical sciences yet they so often evince views that run afoul of them, most notably in their embracing of the "net carbon zero" myth. While it's great that the authors of the article have come to the realization that it is a 'dangerous trap',
what took them so long? I have never been more demoralized in my life than the first time I came across the words "net carbon zero" as that is dependent on either impossible technology being invented or an impossible energy source being discovered that can power the existing technology. Otherwise, we do not have access to enough energy to make even a measurable difference in atmospheric CO2 content. While, like in virtually every other aspect, the conversation around carbon capture may be focused solely on the dollar amount per ton, removing CO2 from the atmosphere is an energetic process, not a financial one and while money, as a figment of the human imagination, is effectively infinite, energy is, and always will be, the constraining resource on all of humanity's ambitions. Unless the emissions are essentially zero, "net carbon zero" will never happen which is why present 'direct air capture' efforts don't even remove 10 seconds worth of our annual emissions (
0.01MT in 2022 so 0.01E6/36.8E9*365.25*24*60*60=8.57s). That's not a "good first step", that's fucking hubris.
This flagrant disregard for the physical sciences can be seen quite clearly in the newest bullshit we are hearing from the people who have been wrong all along. I find it incredible that in an article titled
"The Best Climate Science You've Never Heard Of" posted to his own website, climate crisis denier Michael E. Mann doesn't even make an attempt at explaining this "science". Just an appeal to the authority of "the experts" to claim there is no longer going to be a "warming lag" and a bunch of "blah blah blah". I call it incredible because the Washington Post, apparently having higher standards,
did require such an explanation, wanting though it may be, in the
version they published meaning, left to his own devices our chief celebrity climate "scientist" and the media's 'go-to guy' when they need to downplay
doesn't feel he has to explain himself, at all. I always try to give credit where credit is due though and that article isn't a total loss as it does contain a claim that this "science", "... underlies the widely-now used concept of a 'carbon budget'," which is good to know.
It doesn't even require a scientific background to question this "science" when the explanations don't go any deeper than what was in the WaPo:
Yes, CO2 pushes temperatures higher, but carbon 'sinks', including forests and in particular the oceans, absorb almost half of the CO2 that is emitted, causing atmospheric CO2 levels to drop, offsetting the delayed warming effect.
Because anybody who has been paying attention should question how much of a role forests are going to play in sequestering carbon in the future when all of the largest ones have been net emitters for years. While human deforestation efforts are undoubtedly a major contributor to that, where is the evidence that is going to slow down, let alone stop? Not only will few accept going 'cold and hungry' while there is still material around to burn,
wood chips are a necessary ingredient in the smelting of metallurgical silicon, so the Bright Green Dream requires not only on a massive expansion of mining, but deforestation as well.
But it is the idea that "in particular the oceans" will continue to be a significant carbon sink that is truly troubling because that is not what the physical chemistry says. While the oceans do take in a good portion of our emissions that's all they do, take in a portion of our emissions. The amount of CO2 that remains dissolved in the surface ocean is directly proportional to its partial pressure in the atmosphere in accordance with Henry's Law.
While the oceans are undeniably complex & not well understood even today, and the real-world doesn't play out exactly as the ideal gas laws would indicate, there is no reason to believe the oceans would continue to take in a significant amount of CO2 in a "net carbon zero" scenario, let alone one where the atmospheric concentration is decreasing. In the unlikely event that aliens show up to save us from ourselves using technology that is indistinguishable from magic, the oceans should be expected to emit CO2. The thermohaline circulation sees carbon-rich surface water replaced with deep water that is comparatively unsaturated, but that process takes hundreds-to-thousands of years to complete while the air-sea gas exchange
is believed to equilibrate in under one. It also appears to be so trivial an effect that I have never even been able to find an estimation of how much CO2 is believed to be "sequestered" in this fashion. It certainly doesn't appear anywhere in this "science" and, unfortunately, nowadays the search results are flooded with hare-brained schemes to dump shit into the oceans to try to utilize the effect because, as it occurs naturally, it is inconsequential. It's worth noting that with satire being dead and all,
Mann's own research indicates the thermohaline circulation is slowing down as the oceans warm, further weakening that sink.
Additionally, Henry's Law is temperature dependent and warmer liquids are less capable of holding dissolved gases which is why the
full old "warming lag" theory went:
As both land and oceans start to warm up, they both release large amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere, from melting permafrost and from warming ocean water, since CO2 solubility in water is greater in cold conditions. That release enhances the greenhouse effect, amplifying the warming trend and leading to yet more CO2 being degassed. In other words, increasing CO2 levels become both the cause and effect of further warming. Once started, it's a vicious, self-reinforcing cycle - an excellent example of what science refers to as a positive climate feedback.
Meaning this "science" directly contradicts the old theory with no explanation given for why that should be the case. Now, obviously it is a bad idea to base your scientific understanding off of an MSM article, but even going up one level, the most frequently referenced pop-sci article on the topic is
this "explainer" from climate crisis denier Zeke Hausfather at Carbon Brief. Unfortunately, and unsurprisingly coming from the climate user who brought us such nonsense as, '
ackshually, the models have been quite accurate,'
and, '
ackshually, the models are running too hot,' it doesn't provide any better explanation, which is too bad because the comment section offered a great opportunity to clear up many of the valid concerns people have about this "science" but, even with a comment directly calling out the lack of response, no answers were provided.
Going up to the final level, the paper that seems to be referenced the most is
MacDougall et al (2020), which, despite being the source for Hausfather's claim that, "By chance, these two factors cancel each other out," is a meta study that found "Models exhibit a wide variety of behaviours after emissions cease..." I am not sure how it is they determined given, "a wide variety of behaviours," that the "zero emission commitment" would therefore be zero--I guess it could be buried somewhere in the technobabble--but I feel there is enough plain English to make a determination about the validity of this "science":
In CANESM5 and CNRM the terrestrial carbon sink dominates the reduction in radiative forcing, while in ACCESS, IAPRAS, MESM, P. GENIE, and UVic, the ocean carbon uptake dominates the reduction in radiative forcing.
...
Given that the behaviour of the terrestrial carbon cycle varies strongly between models and that many models lack feedbacks related to nutrient limitation and permafrost carbon pools, the strong dependence of ZEC50 on terrestrial carbon uptake is concerning for the robustness of ZEC50 estimates. Notably the three ESMs with the weakest terrestrial carbon sink response include terrestrial nutrient limitation.
...
The analysis here has shown that across models decadal-scale ZEC is poorly correlated to other metrics of climate warming, such as TCR and ECS, though relationships may exist in model frameworks. However, the three factors that drive ZEC, ocean heat uptake, ocean carbon uptake, and net land carbon flux correlate relatively well to their states before emissions cease.
With the final passage seeming to confirm that this "science" does indeed violate the physical chemistry of the situation and that this will happen is nothing more than an assumption necessary for this, particularly GIGO brand of, modelling to work. It really feels like it is not a matter of, "by chance," but rather, "by design". Why even consider the models that lack basic elements like 'terrestrial nutrient limitations'?
Finally, this "science" just fails conceptually being entirely predicated on humanity reaching a more extreme version of the physically impossible state of "net carbon zero" than exists in any of our "plans" which already account for the natural carbon sinks. It also requires the aerosol masking effect and the positive feedbacks to not exist as well as for the ongoing Mass Extinction to reverse course even though our Bright Green Dreams call for an intensification of our all-out assault on the rest of our biosphere. The simple fact is that almost all of the CO2 we are unleashing today was originally fixed by living things over the course of millions of years. To believe it will happen faster this time around, especially given present conditions, is just delusional.
It's not surprising that we would see something like this though. While it was one thing to discuss the idea that we have to stop burning fossil fuels long before things 'get bad' when that was only a problem for the distant future to worry about, it's an entirely different thing today when shit is absolutely fucked and our "leaders" are still desperately trying to ramp up the rate of extraction. That's alarmism and violates the field's dictum of "we mustn't be alarmist". As long as that dictum remains in effect though, climate modelling will continue to be incredibly biased against our alarming reality. Any model that accurately predicted our present conditions a decade ago would have been dismissed for being "too alarmist" and had the creator persisted, their career would have been destroyed. It's quite bothersome to hear it said that "the experts" warned us
this was coming because while anyone talking 2020 was called many names, they were all antonyms of "expert". The so-called experts, on the other hand, were blathering about 2050 this and 2100 that.
They were also warning almost exclusively about sea-level rise which is why David Wallace-Wells felt it necessary to open his infamous 2017
The Uninhabitable Earth article with the line "If your anxiety about global warming is dominated by fears of sea-level rise, you are barely scratching the surface of what terrors are possible..." I thought, with "the science saying" that we could expect higher humidity which would cause more extreme weather, that Hurricane Katrina was a good time to begin transitioning the conversation about the climate away from just global warming = sea-level rise because while that is an existential threat for many, it is not for humanity as a whole the way the extremes and catastrophes are and focusing on it has always been a way to downplay and trivialize: "So what? We will
just build sea walls." The so-called experts not only disagreed with that assessment, they denounced it and not just for Katrina. For many years in every single article after every single one of the increasingly frequent climate catastrophes there was an "expert" disavowing any connection between our noticeably changed climate and the noticeable increase in extreme weather, much like the 1.5C hopium that accompanies virtually all mainstream writing on the climate today. Song et al. (2022) cite a 2017 statement from the American Meteorological Society that read "We're experiencing new weather, because we've made a new climate" as one of the earliest examples of the attribution
finally being made.
While the climate has changed quite dramatically since we crossed the original
safe threshold over thirty years ago, almost all of that has occurred in the last five as we went from a position of official denialism to, and I apologize for getting technical again, shit being absolutely fucked and even though the "science" that "informed" the Paris Agreement predicted none of this, we aren't seeing a frantic re-evaluation of our "plans". No their minimum timeline is still nearly double the length over which we have seen such a frightening intensification and we are still being subjected to the same old delusions, denialism, and dishonest downplaying.
It was seeing them all repeat the nonsense that it was 'necessary' to downplay in order to 'get anything done' that was the first major turn-off for me. Not just because it was always predicated on an appeal to the authority of "the psychologists"; not even because it was always going to fail to "spur us into action" allowing instead for the spread of the monstrous sentiment "Why should I care? It won't get bad until after I am dead"; but because dishonesty is inherent to it and there is no worse way to get people on board with something than by lying to them about it. I can't be the only one who bristles at being told that I must simply accept the clearly wrong opinions of admitted liars, can I? That they keep mindlessly repeating it to this day, when we have decades of real-world evidence that downplaying doesn't do anything but breed complacency, is just another example of how difficult it is for reality to intrude upon their groupthink.
Three decades of talks have yet to produce a single tangible result. If anything, the conversation is even further removed from reality today as the "net carbon zero" myth did not exist back then. With COPout-Fest 2022 having been sponsored by Coca-Cola, it's like they go out of their way to discredit themselves. How, exactly, does a "climate" conference end up partnering with one of the worst polluters on the planet? It is beyond indefensible for the scientific community to still be supporting and legitimizing the charade, especially since we have been hearing for years that actual scientists are just sidelined and ignored. Can it really be called a "climate conference" if it is just a bunch of politicos and economists circle-jerking about economic growth? It's a damn shame they learned no lessons from their most productive year yet, 2020, because their Carbon Indulgences do not, in fact, undo any of the very real harm inflicted on our biosphere as a result of those wastes of time, energy, and resources.
I don't think we would be any worse off had the IPCC not been formed and had they not began COPping-out. I just can't see how we would have acted any differently when the last 30 years have been spent the same the as the prior 240: Burning through the fossil fuels as quickly and recklessly as we possibly can, all while boasting about how incredibly clever we are for doing so. That the physical limits of our planet are preventing us from continuing today is to the majority, and a very large one at that, the greatest injustice of all. As long as maintaining present living standards and the biosphere-wrecking industrial system necessary to provide them remains the sole goal of our "climate" (really economic) action plans, we will continue acting single-mindedly towards making a bad situation even worse. The only thing the IPCC and COPout crowds have to show for three decades of "efforts" is increasingly unhinged rationalizations to justify further emissions and ecocide.
We aren't even at the stage where we are able to discuss the banning of absolute frivolities like cruise ships! While the Mystics of the Markets may declare that there are no Limits to Growth, that belief comes from a position of ignorance and nothing more. That none other than William fucking Nordhaus was involved in the deboonking of that famously accurate study is why I view him as the greatest villain in all of human history because nobody else will even come close to his body count. The reality is we slammed into those limits years ago and it's tragic really: If there is indeed still time left for us to avert our own extinction, then with the global industrial economy in its death throes and clearly not working out for the vast majority anymore, there is a great opportunity for the 'paradigm shift' to the ecological understanding of the world put forth as a necessary first step by William R. Catton Jr. in his remarkably prescient 1980 book
Overshoot: The Ecological Basis for Revolutionary Change. But, with modern "environmental" activism having been fully co-opted by industrial interests, we seem even further from that understanding today. Seriously, when was the last time you heard about the need to be teaching the children "ecological literacy"? Ever? Now compare that to all the prattle about "financial literacy". Only one of those concepts has a physical basis in reality and it's not the one the current zeitgeist is focused on.
I guess this is the part where I am supposed to provide a hit of hopium that all is not lost, instead here is a thought experiment to help contextualize where we are in terms of "climate action":
Imagine a world in which we were deserving of the name we gave our species and the wise apes outnumbered the silly ones 100,000,000-to-1 rather than the opposite. Realizing that their desired way of living was having disastrous consequences on their only habitat, the wise apes took the necessary and appropriate steps to reach their, non-silly, version of "net carbon zero by 2050" and in their first year of fully post-industrial living they experienced the same climate catastrophes we are suffering today. Would they consider themselves successful?
As long as the ecocidal nightmare that is the Bright Green Dream is the extent of our "plans", then we aren't even at the 'realizing' stage. The vehicle speeding towards the climate cliff is already airborne and our so-called experts have convinced themselves that can be
fixed by painting the accelerator green. We are in desperate need of new leadership and it is well past time to stop listening to the people who have participated in the downplaying and myth-making, but with the disgusting way everyone else was treated, they would be entirely justified giving us the ol'
Ray Patterson.

2023.03.20 12:37 kaidomac Re: Why does everything ALWAYS come down to “just do it”? Is there a more motivated/organic/flow state/streamlined path to success?
In response to this post:
Response:
There must be ways to accelerate through life without the NEED for discipline.
Of course there is! Imagine you're out in a boat in the ocean of life. You have two power options to move towards the lighthouse: (i.e. your goals)
- Paddle (grind state)
- Put up the sail & let the wind drive your progress (flow state)
The grind state is
inevitable because sometimes we have bad days & sometimes things are just hard! Learning how to work in the grind state, despite it being uncomfortable, is a BIG key to personal success & progress in life:
So the next question is, how do we achieve a
flow state more often? It really boils down to 2 key things:
- Choices
- Energy
For choices, we have the APE Approach. Read through the 2 posts here:
APE Approach:
- Attitude
- Planning
- Effort
Believe it or not, our attitude exists
independently of the situation. Zig Ziglar has a great talk on that:
Two good books to check out are:
- "Attitude is Everything" by Jeff Keller
- "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl
As far as planning goes, as long as we insist on keeping everything in our head & not writing things down, then we're going to be stuck in a semi-stressed out state because of all of the psychological pressure of having to figure everything out & remember everything mentally!
The lack of a strong personal productivity system makes everything twice as hard as it needs to be. The reality is that our job is to line up a limited number of tin cans on a fence every day & knock them down. The tin cans represent the individual tasks we bother to commit to working on today & the fence represents our 16 waking hours of "time inventory" for the day.
Projects kind of work like an abacus: each project is made up of a row of beads; our job is to move those beads from left to right through our daily efforts. Eventually the project gets done by moving those beads over time through our daily efforts, or in daily practice, by setting up & knocking down individual targets for the day. More on that whole concept here:
So that comprises our
choices:
- We get to choose our attitude, regardless of the present circumstances. Failure to accept this level of personal responsibility means that we are then subject to being controlled by (1) our mood state, and (2) the situation(s) we're dealing with in life & are forced to go through life living reactively rather than proactively, which is pretty lame!
- We get to choose how to plan out our day. We have the opportunity to "wake up prepared", armed with a plan & the preparation that allows us to dive right into being productive & being able to enjoy being productive because we're not fighting indecision, decision fatigue, or a lack of preparation. We can define our discrete assignments, we can make engaging in those assignments easier, we can be more realistic about our available inventory of time each day, we can prime our battlestations for instant engagement, etc. We don't have to merely show up & try to do everything all at once & have to try to remember what to do!
- We can work smarter, rather than harder. ALL projects, assignments, and commitments boil down to putting in the effort to get them done over time, but we can separate the preparation from the execution, we can design our battlestations to allow us to have better experiences by making things easier & more accessible, we can divvy up our work over time rather than procrastinating, etc.
We can definitely choose a fixed mindset over a growth mindset & have a reactive attitude, refuse to plan out our day & just wing it all the time, and do everything in the heat of the moment based on whatever is emotionally pressuring us to get it done today, but we don't HAVE to live that way!
We can hoist our sails, rather than paddling all the time! We still have transit from point A to point B in order to reach the shore, but we can change our
power source along the way! We do that by changing our experience, which means using better tools to help speed our progress up & make it easier!
The other key item is energy. I consider sleep to be my number one productivity tool. Shortchange your body on sleep & we shortchange our ability to more easily get stuff done & to
enjoy getting stuff done because then everything is just a slog!
Food is next on the energy priority list: we can eat for high energy! We can learn how to fuel our bodies to give us energy throughout the day:
We can also power up our daily routine through exercise! Here's a very simple starter program:
I like to do cardio (indoor exercise bike) & calisthenics at home because (1) they're both weather-independent, and (2) I don't have to go anywhere, like to a gym or park, so I can literally roll out of bed, use the bathroom, bang out my daily exercise routine checklist, and move on with my day:
Imagine the standard approach we tend to take as human beings:
- Stay up late & not get enough sleep
- Body is not fed or hydrated specifically for maintaining high energy throughout the day
- No daily endorphin release from lack of consistent exercise
- We insist on keeping everything in our head, which results in heavy psychological weight & hoping that we'll just magically remember what to do all the time
- We let our mood & our circumstances determine our attitude in life, which controls our behavior...if we're not willing to take the first step in a project, we'll never take the second step!
- We wait until the last minute & procrastinate our progress
We can choose to sail through life by setting things up to make things easier for us! Imagine being well-rested, well-fed, well-hydrated, low-stress, and on top of things all the time! As the saying goes, "we can't squeeze stuff in; we have to take things out!" We can't stay up late, eat poorly, and not use a strong personal productivity system if we want to "hoist our sail" & cruise through our day by knocking down that row of "tin cans" day after day!

2023.03.20 11:38 OnforuLED Optimal Color Temperatures for Eye Health
| "Light" presents us with the changing rhythms of life in the day and night. Unsuitable ambient light sources can easily cause eye fatigue, which may in turn affect efficiency and concentration. Adequate ambient light is very important for the eyes, and many people will therefore choose additional "table lamps" to supplement the general indoor lighting to protect their eyes. However, the need for lighting will change with different usage situations. There is a common question about whether white or yellow light(warm white light) should be used for indoor lighting. How do we distinguish between the two? Which light is more friendly to children's reading? And children's rooms have a mix of white and yellow light, long-term is not very harmful to the eyes? All of these questions point out that selecting different lighting and color temperatures for different situations is the first step in protecting the windows of our souls. Onforu Color Rendering Indexing What is color temperature? When it comes to the color of light, we have to mention the term " color temperature". Color temperature (CCT). The unit of measurement is KelvinScale, which is measured in K. It is derived from the scale of the light color level recorded in the steel plant when it is observed that when the metal is dissolved from the beginning to the highest temperature, the metal shines with different colors. Why is the color temperature related to white light and yellow light? This is because the color temperature is related to the color characteristics. For example, we will be a black body (such as iron) heating, when the temperature gradually increases, the color of the black body will be generated by the dark red > light red > orange > yellow > white > blue white > blue changes, and these color values will correspond to the Kelvin temperature (K) to name. It is worth noting that the general lighting fixtures are also marked with color temperature specifications to allow the public to pay attention to the matching of ambient light. Basically, there are three different types of light that can be emitted by the color temperature, as follows. - Warm light from 2,500 to 3,000K: It helps us to relax while reading and rest better afterward.
- Natural light from 4,900 to 6,500 K: the best solution for the eyes, allowing people to work comfortably.
- Cool light at 6,500 K: provides a good level of brightness and improves overall concentration.
Cool blue light with the highest color temperature CCT is the best choice during working hours when we tend to stay awake and focused on the content of the document. On the other hand, when we want to relax and read at night without interrupting our sleep cycle, picking a color temperature lower than 3000K would be a good choice. What is the difference between yellow and white light? The biggest difference between yellow and white light is the difference in "color temperature", which refers to the different colors of light emitted by a black body through heat absorption, changing from red, orange, yellow and blue. The lower the color temperature, the more yellow the color; the higher the color temperature, the color will change from white to blue. Which one is suitable for indoor - white light or yellow light? Choose the right light to reduce the burden on your eyes! According to the study, most people find warm yellow light more comfortable for the eyes when reading, but the brightness is relatively less adequate. While white light provides concentration, it is slightly irritating to the eyes. The following will provide us with two different types of light that we will be exposed to throughout the day: warm light (2700K-3000K) and soft white light (3000K-5000K), and with the ambient light in the living room, bedroom and study, we will give the corresponding matching lamps. White light: make space bright and clear, improve reading concentration White Light LED Strips Advantages - Suitable for improving concentration at work and study places
- Ideal for relaxed reading before bedtime
- Cool white light makes learning more efficient and makes fewer mistakes in answering questions
- Warm white light is more likely to stimulate creativity
Disadvantages - Cold white light gives people a colder feeling
- Compared to yellow light or natural light, white light has a slightly more monotonous and dead atmosphere
- Affects sleep and can interfere with the biological clock
Overall, white light improves our ability to concentrate on the overall space. Cool white light suppresses melatonin secretion and makes people feel refreshed, which is suitable for work and study that requires concentration, while warm white light does not affect melatonin secretion and is suitable for relaxed reading before bed. Cool white light is more efficient in learning, and fewer mistakes are made in answering questions. Warm white light is more likely to stimulate creativity, suitable for use in art or music classrooms. In addition, cool white light (color temperature 6000K) is good for arithmetic, writing assignments, and exams. However, on the downside, compared to the warm feeling of yellow light or natural light, white light gives people a colder feeling, a bit like hospital light, which is the reason why many hotels abroad do not use white light. Yellow light: warm light, feel relaxed in the reading space Warm White LED Strips Advantages - Gives people a warm and lively atmosphere
- Suitable for matching the style of decoration to achieve a complementary effect
- Suitable as an accent, indirect lighting, etc.
Disadvantages - More strain on the eyes
- Creates a drowsy atmosphere
The warm light of yellow light can make our eyes more relaxed. Therefore, when we need to let the spirit of stability, lying in the sea of books to enjoy a leisurely moment, choosing yellow light will be a good direction. This warm color temperature is ideal for installation in spaces where we can relax and read, such as living rooms and bedrooms. Unlike cool light, the main benefit of yellow light is that it does not impair the production of melatonin in the body. Therefore, bedside reading lights usually make us feel comfortable and drowsy because our brain associates yellow light with sunset, perceiving yellow light as nighttime. How to choose the lighting color temperature indoors? Living room: use neutral white light to keep the whole space transparent It is recommended that the living room is the main area for the family's leisure, and the main requirement for lighting is bright and warm, so we recommend that you choose neutral light with a color temperature of about 4000K, because white light makes people concentrate and will keep the whole space feeling transparent. In addition, you can match the yellow light to create a sense of warmth and increase the sense of layers. Bedroom: soft yellow light allows people to quickly go to sleep The bedroom is the warmest and most relaxing space in the home, and in various "bedtime rituals" under demand, the choice of color temperature in the bedroom, but also more important. Bedtime stories are the most important bedtime ritual between parents and children. Whether it is a parent-child bedtime reading together, or a separate bedtime reading, you should choose yellow light that can output warmth, because white light affects sleep and interferes with the physiological clock. As the light requires emotional relaxation before going to sleep, a warm and warm neutral light with yellow accents would be more suitable, and the color temperature is recommended to be around 2700K-3000K. It is best not to direct the light source to the eyes, the light should be soft, in order to make people more relaxed. Study room: warm white light to keep children's reading concentration The study room is the work or study area, so we usually make the study quiet and simple, in order to improve concentration. A high degree of concentration is a relatively high eye state, therefore, the choice of the color temperature of the study more directly affects the comfort of the eyes. The study room recommended that we choose a color temperature of about 3500K-4000K warm white light; taking into account that the high intensity of white light is too harsh, and yellow light is not conducive to concentration, and easily makes people drowsy. Here we should pay attention to the orientation of the light source, not from the back of the desk chair projection, because the backlight will produce an uncomfortable shadow, accelerating eye fatigue. Conclusion White light and yellow light can be used together, there is no superiority or inferiority between yellow light and white light, and they can be used for different purposes in different environments. The most commonly encountered light is blue-white light and warm yellow light, the difference lies in the "color temperature"! Color temperature means that when a black body is heated, the black body radiates different colors of light by absorbing heat, from red, orange, yellow and blue. The lower the color temperature, the more yellow the color; the higher the color temperature, the color will change from white to blue. The color of light will affect the secretion of melatonin. White light contains a more blue spectrum than warm yellow light, which will inhibit the secretion of melatonin when exposed to white light, giving people a sense of wakefulness. On the contrary, yellow light does not affect melatonin secretion, so people will feel more relaxed under yellow light. You can choose the appropriate light according to your work requirements. If you are working in a work environment, high color temperature white light can help you stay focused on your work; if you need to maintain a relaxed state of reading, low color temperature warm yellow light (<3000K) is better because it does not affect melatonin secretion, so you can relax before going to bed and put down your alertness, so you can sleep well all night to meet the next good morning. 2023.03.19 13:45 Astrongtower Best Router Replacement for Kinetic? Nokia VS ...
Hello,
I have an indoor ONT and the default or whatever Nokia Router you receive when they install your Kinetic Fiber Service.
My main question is what Router could I buy or should I buy to where I could get near 1 GIG wifi speeds throughout the house?
I am getting 500-600 now via wifi and around 1 GIG via Ethernet Cable.
Even if 1 GIG is not possible on wifi with routers today, I still think I want to replace this modem with something more Fancy and Capable.
Maybe a really cool gaming router or a fancy industrial router ...
ASUS ROG Rapture WiFi 6E Gaming Router (GT-AXE16000) - Quad-Band, 6 GHz Ready, Dual 10G Ports, 2.5G WAN Port, AiMesh Support, Triple-Level Game Acceleration
or
TP-Link Deco AX3000 WiFi 6 Mesh System(Deco X55) - Covers up to 6500 Sq.Ft. , Replaces Wireless Router and Extender, 3 Gigabit ports per unit, supports Ethernet Backhaul (3-pack)
I just need to make sure the New Replacement Third Party Router can handle IPOE, correct?
Please give me some recommendations when you have a moment and or possible insights of what not to do or what to do.
Thanks!

2023.03.18 23:16 austananda Looking for some advice
Context: 27, male, athlete but not sprinter (lacrosse), current training focused around strength lifts and agility ladder type drills, but no direct sprint/speed work
A few days ago I had some performance metrics tested and these were the results:
30m sprint: 4.122s, 20m split: 2.974s, 10m fly (30m total-20m split): 1.148s, 5-10-5 drill: 4.48s
I’m wondering how to make sense of the numbers and what to focus on in training to drop the overall 30m time. After trying to find some normative data online, it seems like the 10m fly time is the relative weakness, meaning I should work on developing top end speed? I included the 5-10-5 for a more well rounded picture of acceleration ability but not sure how that translates to a straight line sprint, or if it does at all. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
Edit: conditions for 30m were indoors, electronic gate timed, two point start, normal brooks running shoes

2023.03.18 13:55 EsotericN1nja Long post but a very important piece of the puzzle: How the tunnel of light trap works, in-between lives implant stations, Archons possessing extremely advanced technology, walk-ins, chakras and the reincarnation cycle
Grab a cup of tea, some snacks and sit down comfortably, because what you’re about to read is a long but important piece of the puzzle confirming the prison planet theory, which shows that the tunnel of light is a soul trap & implant station, how the Archons (Greys, Mantis beings, Reptilians) lure free beings into physical bodies, lock them inside them, mind wipe them, implant them, and then use them for whatever purposes they need.
If we want to defeat the enemy, or at least escape the reincarnation cycle and this whole situation when our physical bodies die, it’s crucial that we understand how these things work, so that we know how to best proceed. These beings possess extremely advanced technology that can not only affect physical matter, it can affect and manipulate energy, including our souls.
Truman Cash is an alien abductee and afterlife/past life regression researcher. Through hypnotherapy, he discovered that at some point in his past, while he was travelling through space as a free energy being, his soul was detected while in the proximity of the Earth, then was caught, mind wiped, put into a newborn’s body and became trapped in Earth’s reincarnation cycle for thousands of years. He even recounts being forced to do the work for the Archons at some point in his past, by helping them trap other free beings inside physical bodies. While under hypnosis, he also saw himself having been temporarily put inside an adult’s body a number of times, a phenomenon known as ‘walk-ins’. The following information comes from his book (which you can
download for free):
“From December 3, 1995, to January 7, 1996, I recovered the memories of several in-between lives incidents. In so doing, I learned how I became trapped in the reincarnation cycle of Earth. Consequently, I discovered one of the most guarded secrets about extra-terrestrial manipulation.
I didn't become trapped into the embodiment cycle on Earth until 12,389 years ago. Before this time I was a free being. By "free being" I mean that I was a spiritual being who was not yet trapped into a compulsive, involutary reincarnation cycle. I was free to be in a body or not be in body by my own choice. I could be in a body without being "stuck" in a body. I spent most of my time just being a free being without being in a body at all. There were times, however, when I was temporarily placed in a body at implant stations. In these cases I would eventually get free of the body and continue on my merry way as a free being. As you will see, the difference here on Earth is that there is a SYSTEM to create amnesia and keep a being trapped in a seemingly endless, revolving door CYCLE of re-embodiments.
Free beings are invisible to the naked eye. However, they can create and project a visible form or energy, which can be seen by the naked eye. This sometimes occurs in the "ghost" phenomenon. It is not difficult to locate the position of a "ghost" (Le. a being without a body) in a room, and one can even communicate with it. I have personally experienced this phenomenon. Cats--as you may already have observed-are very good at spotting beings.
Before I became trapped on Earth I had been hanging around this area for thousands of years, having interactions with beings in bodies, both terrestrial and extra-terrestrial. For example, one day I was hanging around Atlantis when I spotted a young man and woman lying in the grass overlooking the ocean. I threw them together, causing them to engage in sexual intercourse. I went into both bodies simultaneously, experiencing the pleasures of sex as a third party, even though I had no body of my own.
Of course, this was the wrong thing for me to do, but I also mention it here to illustrate that free beings are not always the most ethical beings. Activities like this tend to give free beings a bad name. Sometimes free beings will touch a body and kill it. Therefore, free beings incite beings in bodies to invent electronic methods to trap free beings, so that they are not so much of a nuisance. Consequently, there has been a long-term battle between free beings and beings in bodies. I should also note that originally we were all free beings before we became trapped in the physical universe. Therefore, life has been sliding down a slippery slope over a very, very long time period.
When one engages in extensive past life therapy, one will uncover many different types of implant stations. These are spirit traps that are designed to trick a free being and then force the being into a body. The common denominator of these experiences is electronics. There are many different types of high-tech electronic methods to accomplish this; it appears that electromagnetics plays a key role in this process. What I find amazing is that beings without bodies can be effectively controlled with electronics. As incredible as this sounds, this phenomenon is indeed common, and anyone can contact many such experiences in the past.
In fact, we all have experienced both sides of the equation. That is, we have all been victims of these implanting techniques, and we have also been the victimizers. In spite of some people's "holier than thou" attitude, we have all had a checkered past.
For example, on December 3, 1995 I uncovered an incident that started out with me as a free being in space. I became interested in a very large, disk-shaped craft, so I entered it. I was then pushed by an electronic force field into a small confinement area near the edge of the inside of the craft. I was then "sucked" into a body via some type of electronic intense tractor beam. Then I was anchored in the body through a series of electronic wave pulses that felt like very intense electric shocks. It overwhelmed me and then just beat me into the head of this body.
Two tall beings with skinny arms, legs, and necks and enlarged craniums approached the implanting device. One of the beings said (telepathically): "You're one of us now." These two beings then escorted me and my new body to a control tower in the center of this craft. The craft was open on the inside with no dividing walls and was the size of a football stadium (except that it was circular). The two beings then instructed me how to operate the instruments in the control room to entrap other beings into bodies. I then became an implanter right after having become an implantee. In another incident I was traveling around the universe with a friend who was also a free being. This was really fun, because it was like being on vacation all the time and seeing new and interesting things. And the nice thing about being cosmic tourists was that we didn't have to have money, food, lodging, etc., and we didn't have to be home at any certain time.
We came upon an implant station on a planet, which captured my interest. A naked man sat in a chair between four posts. Several naked women were sexually stimulating the male body. My good friend, sensing the imminent danger, cautioned me not to approach this place. Unfortunately, I disregarded his warning and entered the male body to experience the sexual encounter. At this point someone turned the juice on (electronics) and anchored me into the male body. As I later discovered in my past life research, sex has long been used as a method to entice free beings into bodies.
In a more recent incident as a free being in the Earth area, I was working for an ET group-I believe their name was something like the "Theolosians" or "Thelosians." I was working out of a large disk-shaped craft above Earth. It was my job to go out and bring in beings to be implanted in bodies.
In this incident I found a disk-shaped Grays ship, and the occupants of the craft had just abducted a human being off of Earth. The human was lying on the examination table, and tall Grays stood on both sides of the table working on the abductee. I entered the craft and observed their activities.
Surprisingly, I found that their equipment and abduction procedures were exactly the same then as they are now. Since this incident took place about 15,290 years ago, this indicates to me that they have the ability to time travel. I do not believe that their methods, technology, and activities would remain unchanged over a 15,000 year time span.
As the Grays busily occupied themselves with this abductee, I circled around to the back of the head of the tall Gray that was standing next to the table (on the abductee's left side). I entered the Grays head and then latched onto the being and pulled the being out of its head. I then took this being over to the Thelosian ship where a body was waiting to be implanted with a being.
This humanoid body was short and stocky and was strapped into a chair. I placed the being inside the head of this body and then backed away from the chair. I was able to hold the being in the body even though I was more than thirty feet away from it. Someone turned the juice on the electronic chair and anchored this being into the body.
As I re-experienced this incident I felt remorse for having trapped this Gray in another body against its will. As much as I despise Grays, this is not something that I am willing to experience myself.
This incident also demonstrated that at this point in my existence, I had more abilities without a body than with one. I pulled this being out of its Gray body, it demonstrated that I was more powerful as a being than it was. When I held onto that being as he was being electronized into its new body, it was like I had a very long, invisible arm. Of course, I have since lost these abilities. However, I do believe that we have the potential for recovering our inherent abilities as powerful spiritual beings.
This incident may also indicate why I am an abductee, a "Chosen One." Initially, I was a problem for the Grays. Therefore, they may have targeted me for entrapment and disempowerment to keep me from interfering with their activities here on Earth. So now the Grays are a problem for me.
December 6, 1995 Memory Recovery Session:
12,389 years ago I was out in space-as a free being-and looking down at Earth. I didn't notice that a very large, black, spherical implant station was approaching me, because my attention was focused on the planet. An invisible, electronic tractor beam locked onto me and began pulling me into a circular, concave structure on the implant station. The extreme power of this tractor beam overwhelmed me and made me feel awful. In spite of my abilities as a free being, I couldn't fight free. I was pulled into the entrance, which was a tunnel in the center of the concave surface. I was then accelerated down this long, curved tunnel toward the LIGHT at the end of the tunnel. (My colloquialism for this type of implant station is a "soul sucker.").
After being totally overwhelmed by this energy beam and pulled through this tunnel, I began to feel very lethargic. I then found myself in an implanting room, being compressed into a female body by a powerful, WHITE LIGHT energy beam that beat me into a body. This energy beam was so irritating that I felt like screaming. I began to try to fight back with the body. That's when they knew that the implantation was finished--because I was using MY BODY to fight back.
Two tall insectoid beings that looked like praying mantises then escorted me to another part of the implant station. I was now in a very large, WHITE LIGHT room. I milled around aimlessly amongst other human bodies in this dense, fog-like LIGHT. Through telepathic hypnosis I hear a very soothing, hypnotic voice whispering in my head: "Sleep. Don't worry. We'll take care of you. Don't remember. You have no past. You will not need to remember your past. Be here now. No more thoughts of the past. Forget the past. Move forward into a new life. You will begin a new life in the LIGHT. "
After I was thoroughly inculcated in this WHITE LIGHT amnesia room, two insectoids approached me and told me that I was ready to begin my new life. They escorted me into another large, open area of the implant station, which was a hangar containing many flying disks. They walked me across the hangar and up the ramp of one of the flying saucers. I got a big surprise in this session when I saw what the inside of this ship looked like-It was a carbon copy of Ra' s ship, the eye of Ra! The only difference was that this ship didn't have a throne in it.
The insectoids then flew me down to Atlantis in this craft. When we landed, I walked down the ramp and into the WHITE LIGHT amnesia fog outside the craft. Apparently, ETs can create this "fog" outdoors as well as indoors. One of the praying mantis guys told me that I won't remember anything and that I'll start my new life now. Then they took off and left me alone in the hills overlooking the ocean.
I began walking inland. Eventually, some Atlanteans found me and decided that I'd make a good sacrifice. I ended up in a temple lying on a stone sarcophagus. They cut my chest open with a large knife, drank my blood, and ate my heart. This was the same Brothers of the Snake initiation that I experienced in Egypt over 9,000 years later! I then left my body and reported in at the same implant station. I then bounced back to Atlantis and entered the womb of a mother who was giving birth to a baby girl. This time they did not implant me into a body on the implant station. Instead, they simply programmed me to go back to Atlantis and enter a baby's body during birth.
I spent the rest of my life in this house. The house in which I was born had a beautiful view above the cliffs overlooking the ocean. I grew up in this house and continued living there even after my parents died. I died in this house and then reported in again to the same implant station.
On December 5, 1995 I uncovered another in-between lives incident that demonstrated a slightly different type of implantation technique. I have included the entire transcript of this session here. My wife guided me through this incident four times. You will notice that new details surface each time I run through the incident. Researchers who are standard familiar with hypnotic techniques may notice some of the differences between the techniques that we use and and standard hypnotic procedures.
"Recall the last session. "
"That was when I was put in a body. " (This was the December 3rd session described above.)
"Scan the last incident. "
"I was trained to trap beings in bodies, but I didn't recall any specific incident of putting beings in bodies. It's amazing how they can compress beings into a very small head. "
"Did we get everything from that incident?"
"Yes. "
"Return to an earlier, similar incident. "
"There's something there-a queasiness in my stomach and that leg jerk in my right leg. This involves an alien, a bug-like one, a praying mantis-like alien. I have the impression of a voice, possibly programming. Something flashed in my head. I'm just going on impressions. I saw that foggy LIGHT. I hear a voice say 'Go to the LIGHT, ' and I go to the LIGHT. It feels like I'm in a big room. For some reason I popped back to my school days; I don't know Why. " (In retrospect, I believe this occurred because the WHITE LIGHT room in this incident reminded me of a big gymnasium.) "This sounds so absurd, but I'll go ahead and tell you. I have the impression of being put in a body and into a capsule and being sent down to a planet in this capsule. There's that terrible feeling in my body like something terrible's happening to me. This praying mantis-like being over me. It's right before I'm put into this capsule. It seems like this thing lands in the water by a beach, a tropical area. I think I'm totally naked. "
"Start at the beginning of this incident and see if you can pick up more details. "
"I'm not going to the beginning-about the middle of the incident. The phrase "Go to the LIGHT. " It's an implant station. I see a big round sphere, like a space station maybe. "
"What happens next?"
"The insect guy. I think right before that, I'm in an area that feels like a round room, and there's this intense, WHIT, blinding LIGHT coming from the walls." (The room that I was in was a sphere with a diameter of about twelve feet. The walls of the inside of this sphere were radiating this bright, WHITE LIGHT force field.) "There's a struggle to counteract the force of the LIGHT that's 360 degrees (around me), that's forcing me into this body. I feel it in my body-not just my head-in my torso. They're not just compressing me into a head. Oh man, don't go to the LIGHT. This sphere opens on one end, making a vesica pisces. It's interesting how that ties in”.
[The vesica piscis shape is formed by the intersection of two circles. It looks like a typical flying disk standing on its edge or the vertical slits in the eyes of cats and snakes. It is the same shape as the Christian fish symbol for Jesus, only without the fins. It was also an ancient fertility symbol representing the vulva.]
“I walk out (through the vesica pisces opening in the sphere). I'm in my body. I'm naked. I'm in a big--high ceiling-big area. It seems rather circular all throughout implant station. I feel like I'm beamed up into another room high above it. It's the room where they lay you down on a table. It's a control room. It's not a box-type room. It's weird. These beings, I don't believe, are Grays. They have long, thin legs like an insect. They communicate telepathically. I lie on the table. They do something to me here, like high voltage or something. I think this process is they're anchoring me into my head.”
"What kind of a body do you have?”
"It's male. It's hairy, with a caucasian skin. The thing that pops into my mind: that these beings are 'ancients’. I saw that in a TV show, but it's like a knowingness that they're ancients. Down by my feet is a cocoon-shaped capsule. The conveyor slides me into it, and the top is put on. I'm shut in this capsule and shot onto this planet. I think it's Earth."
"When is this?"
"I don't know. It (the capsule) lands in the sea by an island on the shore of a sandy beach. I'm not sure of the time at all. "
"Return to the beginning of the incident. "
"Okay. I'm going into a big, huge sphere, space station. I'm going through a tunnel of LIGHT. At the end of the tunnel is this room-and a body--with intense LIGHIT & power that just presses and pushes on me, forces me into this body. I can feel the body now, as it (the force field) pushes me in. It's caucasian, naked, male."
[At this point I compare my present body and genitalia with the body that I'm being forced into in this incident.]
"Then this vesica piscis thing opens up. I walk out a ways. It's starting to make sense: It's programming you to be an infant and go out the birth canal."
[I had just realized that they designed this elaborate entrapment scheme to parallel the natural birth process where one is pushed out through a tunnel (birth canal) towards the LIGHT at the end of the tunnel and through the vesica piscis opening (vulva)]
"There's a huge, vast area of the ship, huge, high ceiling, the wall goes up." (The implanting sphere was located in this very large room.) "A beam comes down from the ceiling, well over a hundred yards up. I'm floated up the beam into this room. They guide me along (telepathically): 'Walk this way, please. Lie on the table, please. ' They're polite. I lie on this metal table. There's power surges here again. It concentrates me into the head of the body. They have praying mantis looks. Long necks. When I try to look at its face, my head hurts. I feel really sad.”
"Why do you feel sad?"
"Because they put me in a body. They tricked me. They put me in a capsule and shoot it out of the . . . uh, shoot it out to a planet. It lands in an ocean by a beach. It opens up, and I go out. It's tropical and warm."
"Give me a flash answer--When is this?"
"Something like five thousand years ago. It's the first thing that comes to mind. Warm weather. A lot of food. That's where I live. Fifteen thousand or five thousand--I'm not sure. I wonder if I was a free being. " (Sometimes two or more dates can appear simultaneously if there are other similar incidents that have been triggered.)
"Give me a flash answer-What planet is this?"
"Earth. "
"Return to the beginning of the incident."
"I think the beginning is when I died. It's a battIe with swords. I think a sword goes right through me, in my abdomen. I hear this ('Go to the LIGHT')-I'm out of my body--I don't know if somebody communicates this to me or what, but I'm going to the LIGHT, a tunnel of LIGHT, very fast. This LIGHT goes to this implant station that's just huge. Reminds me of a small planet or moon. It's just really huge. At the end of the tunnel of LIGHT in this room with glowing WHlTE LIGHT, there's a body in the middle of the room. The LIGHT just pushes me into the body. There's some pressure in my head. The sphere opens up making a doorway that I walk out of (the vesica piscis-shaped opening). I walk out into the middle of the room. I walk and I float up to this room where these 'ancients' are, the praying mantis guys. I'm a white male. I go over to the capsule. It opens up. One side of the room kind of zigzags and goes up-a control panel-a 'star Trek' type of thing. In the capsule they give me an electric shock. It further anchors me in my body and specifically the head. The mantis guy gives me a telepathic command to be in my head. They do some other stuff to drive me into my head--intense 'machine-gun,' like a pneumatic hammer. Drives you into your head. When he finishes with that, the capsule comes together. It's not smooth (on the outside), it's molded, it's got indented sections. They shoot this capsule down to this planet--Earth. It lands in the ocean. I get out on the beach. It seems like they retrieve these capsules after they land. It seems like the battle I was in was in the Middle East. I think it was five thousand and some years ago. "
"Do you think you got everything out of this incident?"
"5,349 years ago. Don't go to the LIGHT. I was right about that. That makes sense--the Serpent Staff group. The New Age LIGHT. It's part of the trap. "
"Is it okay to leave this incident?"
"Yes. "
On December 9, 1995, J gave me a session in which I covered several similar incidents of going in and out of bodies on this planet. I came to this solar system as a free being 55,539 years ago. I entered a spacecraft that was headed for Earth. I entered the body of the mission leader, a powerful and self-determined woman. She had a gorgeous body with the build of an athlete. I was not programmed to enter her body--I entered of my own free will. I then covered another free will incident 25,329 years ago where I again entered a woman's body on Earth.
The following incidents occurred after I became stuck in the programmed re-embodiment cycle on Earth. I uncovered more significant data regarding extra-terrestrial manipulation, so I have included most of the transcript of this session. December 9, 1995 Memory Recovery Session:
"Recall a similar incident. "
"I have this pain that started yesterday on the right side of my spine. I'm in a body. A spear or something is into me from the back. Male body. I have a beard. This is Earth. It feels like my hands are tied with rope up on a scaffolding. I'm being punished. Then I go out of the body up to an implant station. It's the same type of 'into the LIGHT' where you mill around (WHITE LIGHT room). Then I'm sent down to Babylon into a baby's body. I went into the (man's) body while it was being tortured--or maybe 1 was being 'put' in. "(I couldn't contact any of this man's memories, so I knew I had not lived his life.) "There's this scaffolding with ropes that tie onto the legs and arms. I'm viewing this from the back of the guy, then I go into the body. Something to do with an implant station, the same type of implant station. Apparently, I'm just sent down to this body while it's being tortured or punished. There was a spear being shoved through the back near the right shoulder blade. Then I go up to the implant station--back and forth. "
"Give me a flash answer-When was this?"
"5,619 years ago. Then I went up to the station to be born into a male baby born in Babylon. I get a feeling it wasn't too bad of a life there. "
"Recall a similar incident. "
"I'm coming into this body (my present body). Coming down-I'm not sure how I got here--coming down in Spokane, seeing Sacred Heart hospital from up above. I'm getting in the body inside my mother and being pushed out. I'm trying to figure out where I came from before that. I died in 1945 and went up to the implant station. It seems I always report in to the same one. The tunnel of LIGHT. I went into the room where the people are milling around. I went into the back of the head of one of the people. I'm being programmed: “Be in the LIGHT. Always return to the LIGHT. Safe refuge. No fear.” I can see why people are drawn to it. It's like taking a vacation, milling around in the WHITE LIGHT. There's no pain there. You're being programmed to be a sheep. You aren't exposed to stuff. There are other parts of the ship where you are rammed into bodies with force beams."
I uncovered one more incident in this session. I discovered that I had lived a short lifetime between 1945 and 1949. When I died in 1945, I went out to the implant station and then came right back to Earth. Although J didn't ask me where I was born, I believe it was Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I lived with my mother and father in an apartment above a busy street. At age four I rushed out into a street and was hit by a car. I then left my body and reported in to my usual implant station and bounced back down to Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane where I entered my present body in 1949.
I had previously covered my birth this lifetime in a session in 1983. I remembered vividly what the hospital looked like before I entered it from above. However, I hadn't remembered how I got to the hospital. In 1986 I was in Sacred Hospital, and I was confused because it didn't look like the same building that I remembered going into in 1949. I found out that the building had been drastically remodeled, so I asked to see some of the old pictures of what it used to look like. When I saw the picture of what the hospital looked like in 1949, I was very surprised to find that the picture showed the very same building that I had seen before I entered my present body. In fact, this photograph showed the east side of the hospital, which was the same side that I had viewed it from, but only from a higher vantage point. On January 7, 1996 I found that I needed to address my death as Ramesses II. I am including all of J notes on this session. because I had some very big realizations. In fact, at one point I began verbalizing my realizations so rapidly that J couldn't keep up with me. Consequently, she was unable to write it all down. Therefore, I have parenthetically expressed these cognitions in the following transcript:
January 7, 1996 Memory Recovery Session
"3,219 years ago was when I died (as Ramesses II). There was an incident. I'm lying in the bed, dying."
"Run that incident, please."
"I'm an old man, and there's servants coming in and paying homage to me, the Son of Ra." I don't have any fear of dying, because I believe that I am immortal. Even my body will be renewed when I go to live with the Gods. I died of just old age. I'm old."
"How old are you?"
"Eighty-nine is just the number that really pops out there. It must have been all that good sex. My body dies, and I go out. I go to the implant station, down the tube or tunnel. It appears the tunnel is curved. I'm in a WHITE LIGHT now. It seems like I'm being put into a body again. I'm in another body again."
"What kind of body is it?"
"A male body."
"Human?"
"Yes. I'm taken to the WHITE LIGHT room again with all the bodies milling around. This is 3,219 years ago. They program 'PEACE and REST.' The idea here is to create a place that is enjoyable to be in. 'GOD LOVES YOU. YOU ARE LOVED'-like whisperings in my mind, soothing. 'JOY and LOVE.' I can ALWAYS RETURN TO THE LIGHT. BE IN PEACE.' The insect guys take me out of the LIGHT room. It seems like the same implant station I always go to or an identical one, because it looks like the same one. I go into an 'eye.' I walk up the ramp of the 'eye.' I'm inside. I feel like I'm naked. I sit down on the ... It's the same type of ship as Ra's. I sit on the circular bleachers that go up. I'm on a different side of the room (than the Atlantis incident). I'm sitting here in the saucer, in the 'eye.' I'm in this new body. I'm in an 'eye.' The saucer lands somewhere. I walk down the ramp. It's a bright, sunny day-warm day. It appears I'm in a sandy desert. It appears I'm back in Egypt again. It appears that the ship landed by the pyramids, the Giza Plateau."
"In this new body, do you have any sense of your last lifetime? Do you recall it?"
"Yes and no. It all looks very familiar to me. I'm naked, so somebody comes and puts a robe on me."
"Are you in an adult body?"
"Yes."
“Does the person who brings you the robe speak to you?"
"There's more than one person. It's like I'm greeted. I get the feeling that I walk into some kind of high position. I get the impression I'm kind of like a teacher now. I feel like I'm a high priest, not the pharaoh. I'm still serving the Gods. I'm instructing the people with the belief system of (physical) immortality. It's hard for me to admit this, but it's true in a sense. I just left an old body and was given a new body. I feel an uneasiness about this. It's like I'm a little drugged. I'm really restimulated by this-a little spinny." (By "restimulated" I meant that something had triggered something in the unconscious part of my mind, and it was uncomfortable.)
"Return to the beginning of the incident."
"3,219 years ago I'm the pharaoh of Egypt. I'm dying, and everybody seems to know that. I don't feel bad about dying. I'm looking forward to immortality with the Gods, the belief system that we're taught. I'm dying of old age. I leave my body and pulled into a tunnel of LIGHT. It just pulls you like a force you can't resist." (It's like a soul-sucking tractor beam.) "It just sucks you in. It's almost the exact parallel to when I was first put in a body (12,389 years ago in the Atlantis incident where I was sacrificed). There's a sphere about twelve feet in diameter (the LIGHT at the end of the tunnel). The walls of this device are glowing with a WHITE LIGHT. There’s a male body in the middle of this sphere. I'm being squeezed into the body. It's very confining. I step out into this big room. Two beings ... I'm not sure what kind of beings these are."
"Can you look at them?"
"At first I thought they were LIGHT BEINGS. These are the praying mantis guys! They take me into the WHITE, misty LIGHT. I'm being programmed: 'PEACE, REST-soothing whispering in my mind. The words: 'GOD LOVES YOU. PEACE IN THE LIGHT. ' I'm being programmed that I'm with GOD now. 'ALWAYS RETURN TO THE LIGHT. ' I can see why people think going to the LIGHT is good, because it FEELS good. 'I WILL BEGIN A NEW LIFE NOW. THE OLD IS PASSED AWAY. YOU'LL BE SAFE IN THE LIGHT. YOU CAN ALWAYS COME TO THE LIGHT. ' You feel like you're really loved, and you're really special." (When I said 'really loved' and 'really special,' I said it in a soothing, but sarcastic tone. Their programming is very sweet, but very insincere and phony. I have observed the same kind of syrupy sweet, deceitful rhetoric from the channeled Pleiadians.) "So I'm taken out (of the big WHITE LIGHT room). I get the impression that they are LIGHT BEINGS, but they're not! "
"What is a LIGHT BEING?"
"A body that is just LIGHT. But it's not. They're the insect guys! I go to the hangar where the 'eyes' are. I sit down in the saucer (Apparently, the insectoids were using telepathic hypnosis to create the illusion that they were light beings.)
"Are you the only one?"
"Yes, except there's someone flying it. I just sit there for awhile. They're taking me somewhere. It's bright outside when I get out. I'm naked. There's a greeting party there. I'm telepathically told to go down the ramp. It's really bright outside. (I assumed that I was flown down to the planet by a praying mantis guy. Whoever did pilot the craft remained out of sight in the pilot's cabin. No ETs made a public appearance in front of the greeting party.)
"When you are greeted by these people, do they say anything to you?"
"Not direct. They're treating me like a holy person or something. They help me into a robe and sandals or footwear, and some kind of a head gear, tall."
"Are there any buildings around you-a town or something?"
"We're out in the Giza plateau. I ride in this guy's chariot. We're heading east toward the Nile. Apparently, now I'm part of the priesthood. One of my sons is pharaoh. The big pyramid at Giza has been a big part of my life and also as a priest. We continue the rituals in the Great Pyramid. It's continuous. I help perpetuate this--the drinking of blood. I don't think there ever was a capstone on the top of the pyramid. As far as my lifetimes in this period-Ramses the second and the following lifetime as a holy man-the best I can translate it is that I came out of the eye of the Gods, and so I was worshipped. "
"What is your name as the priest?"
"Part of my name is Amen. " (I tried to pronounce my name as it was pronounced in Egypt then, but couldn't quite get it.) "In the Egyptian language it sounds like nonsense syllables. It's easier for me to contact what it meant. "
"What did it mean?"
"Holy man from God. But just 'holy man' is the main meaning. It sounds strange, but I almost feel like a Jesus figure. This is like the same type of being-You come from the Gods; you're a teacher. There's a feeling of 'holiness' about me. It's strange. I get the feeling that I channeled. I was programmed, and part of that programming was receiving messages from ETs (via channeling) to keep the religion going. I think this is what Jesus was-like a high priest. This was over 1200 years before that time. It's funny how back then, they landed their saucers in front of everybody. In that lifetime I became the high priest. They took care of me for awhile-a pope-that sort of thing.”
"How much time passed between your death as Ramses and your return as priest?"
"Just a few hours. It seems like a few hours. I'm not sure of who I was. It doesn't seem like I knew, when I got out of the saucer, who I was. I don't know what the people were told who I was. They were nice to me and took care of me and fed me. Between the programming and channeling I was a messenger of God, a holy man of all the Gods. I didn't just represent one God. I continued the rituals of the Brotherhood of the Snake. I was the one that initiated my own son, the Pharaoh, in the Brotherhood of the Snake. This all occurred 3,219 years ago. I'm sure of it."
It appears that electromagnetics plays a key role in this procedure. I suddenly realized that they were using the nervous system of the body-including the brain, of course-to implant beings into bodies. The nerves transmit electrical charges, which creates electromagnetic fields around the body. The chakras are simply nerve networks, which create electromagnetic fields. (This, however, may be an oversimplification of the phenomenon.)
In the Serpent religions-especially the eastern religious practices and New Age channeled religious practices--a lot of attention is placed on meditation on the chakras, "clearing" the chakras, and channeling energy through the chakras. In so doing, a spiritual being in a body only anchors itself further in the body by sending energy pulses through these nerve networks. I have actually experienced this phenomenon during a "Consciousness and Energy" (C & E) exercise taught by the channeled entity, Ramtha. After doing the exercise I became more solidly anchored in my body and was very sick with the "C & E flu" for over two weeks. Also, just the condition of placing undue attention on the body helps reinforce attachment to the body.
I had a great deal of communication with "channeled Pleiadians" in my association with a woman who was trained to channel Pleiadians by Barbara Marciniak. These so-called Pleiadians had me "clearing my chakras" as one of the procedures I had to perform in order to end my abductions. I followed their advice to the letter--including giving unconditional love to the Grays--and they eventually informed me that I would no longer be abducted by Grays, because I had successfully fulfilled their requirements. However, I was abducted and re-implanted with a debilitating brain implant about two weeks after they told me this. Three other "psychics" who channel ETs have since tried to free me from abductions. All have failed-and they failed in spite of their very confident reassurances that I would no longer be an abductee after performing their various procedures. The abductions have never ceased. I eventually came to my senses and realized that the "Pleiadians" and other channeled ETs had manipulated and deceived me.
The Pleiadians-in both ancient and modern times--have established religious practices focused especially on the lower chakra, the network of nerves of the genital area. The channeled Pleiadians of today call it "sacred sexuality." The kundalini of tantric Yoga is simply the channeling of energy from the lower chakra, through the other chakras, and up through the brain. Not surprisingly, it is sometimes referred to as "Serpent" power. These deceptive practices only serve to keep people's attention focused on their bodies and keep us distracted with dead-end religious practices. Under these conditions one would not easily discover what's really going on. The discovery of the truth, of course, might eventually lead to extricating oneself from the mandatory re-embodiment cycle on this planet. This is why ETs expend so much time and energy programming people with bogus religious beliefs.
The Grays, Reptilians, Pleiadians, Insectoids all use the WHITE LIGHT rooms to program earthbound humans. This phenomenon illustrates a conspiratorial network between several races of ETs. Today, however, they don't land in public places like they used to. They also don't bring down people from implant stations like they used to. It appears that the phenomenon of "walk-ins" is on the increase, however. Channeled entities are deceiving us as to the purpose of these insidious, covert extra-terrestrial activities.
Many people today are reporting near death experiences (NDEs) in which they travel swiftly through a tunnel toward the LIGHT. When they reach the LIGHT at the end of the tunnel they sometimes report seeing "beings of LIGHT. " They sometimes believe they have traveled to some kind of spiritual realm. From my own experiences these "beings of LIGHT" were insectoids. They only "appeared" to be LIGHT beings, due to their uncanny ET ability to create illusions in the minds of abductees, whether out of body or in the body. This ability, as I have mentioned before, can be best described as "telepathic hypnosis; " other researchers use the term "screen memories". Grays also possess this incredible ability to manipulate people's minds and emotions, and they often use this ability to create an illusion of benevolence and love. This is one of the reasons why some abductees think Grays are good. Reptilians also possess this ability, and it would be reasonable to assume that other ET groups also use telepathic hypnosis.

She slouched lower in her seat, hands loosely cradling the leather bag on her lap. The bus rocked away beneath her, trundling down one of the godforsaken paths the Chicago locals called ‘roads’. There were more potholes than asphalt, at this point, and she felt every last one of them, ass-first. Somewhere nearby, a man sat perched on the edge of his slimy, grease-coated seat. She didn’t have to even glance his way to know he’d taken off his headphones and left them to hang around his neck. No, that fact was made very clear by the heavy, rhythmic pounding that shook the cramped, too-hot air inside the bus. Aloe ground her teeth together, gripping the leather of her bag more tightly. It was all right, she told herself. It didn’t matter how annoying the trip was. Delivery orders needed to be fulfilled, even if it meant submitting herself to mass transit—and the coin she’d earned for making the trip out to deliver her pouch-full of strong, dense wool was more than worth the antics of her neighbors. So she told herself. As the man started to mumble along with the too-loud song, banging his feet against the floor of the bus, she had some doubts about all of that. Someone in the back of the bus let out a too-audible sigh, speaking more loudly to be heard over the steady thrumming. He shot a look at headphones-guy—who cranked his volume higher in response. Hell, no. There was no way she was dealing with this headache the rest of the way home. Aloe sucked in a breath of air, glancing between the two. And as loud-talker stood with a rush, stomping towards headphones-guy, she whistled, the sound bright and casual. Loud-talker stopped. Headphones-guy froze, one hand still on the volume dial. Idiots. Aloe shook her head, leaning back against the grubby cushion. Her whistle shifted, dropping in pitch, then trailed off as she let it go. With one last wispy note, the bus fell into silence again. The moment was broken. Loud-talker shot a dirty look at headphones-guy, but turned, trudging back to his seat. Headphones-guy grabbed the pull-cord, standing awkwardly, and started shoving his way past the seated passengers. And now, finally, she had a bit of peace and quiet. Aloe let a smile curl at her lips, shoving her hands deep into the pocket of the untidy sweater she wore. It wasn’t precisely legal, what she’d done, but she hadn’t gotten caught, either. Considering she’d get dragged in front of the human police if she wound up murdering one of the idiots on the way home, this was definitely a net win for her. Leaning her head back against the glass, she waited, dozing off as they trundled past stop after stop. Finally, when the monotone drone of the speaker called a familiar name, she forced her eyes back open, grabbing hold of the pull. And with the cool evening air slapping at her face, she hurried out into the twilight. Her steps quickened as she hurried down the street, accelerating toward a row of shops farther ahead. “Best place to stick the store,” she said, grinning down at her boots. “I told her. Not 3 minutes from the stop, and-” She stopped, a sinking feeling in her stomach. Was that- It was. The city was quiet around her, with just a few people hurrying off in either direction. Quiet enough for her to hear the loud, insistent bark that echoed down the street. “Damn,” Aloe spat, breaking into a jog. “Damn it. Daisy!” This had been a horrible place to stick the store. Too close to everyone else. Daisy was at it again, and there was no way to tell how long she’d been going for, and she could not afford to pay a noise citation right now if an annoyed neighbor decided to throw a fuss. Shouldering past the few pedestrians still trudging the sidewalk, she accelerated toward an old DVD rental place at the end of the block. One last glance to confirm she was alone, and- Another whistle burst past her lips, more strident this time. Its sound warped, shifting as her magic took hold. And the ground beneath her feet warped with it, shooting outward and away on either side. The wall roared past, moving opposite her. She reeled, caught for a split second by the dizzying vertigo of the wards opening for her. When she staggered to a stop, straightening her skirt and sweater, a third storefront stood crammed between the other two. This one didn’t have any glass display, or even so much as a window—just an old, worn wooden door, its surface deeply scratched and pitted, with a metal-lettered The Dancing Dragon over the top. Still the barking continued unabated. If anything, it picked up in intensity. “Daisy!” she hollered, making a face up at the wooden structure as she hurried in. “That’s enough! I’m here!” She paused a moment, letting out a low hum, but her magic pinged back almost immediately. The portal was unlocked. No nasty shock waiting for her this time. Satisfied, she grabbed the handle, shoving her way through. The shop inside erupted into life. Creatures chattered from their dens in the walls, peering out from the entrances. Brilliantly-colored birds flapped back and forth across the exposed eaves, screaming their song for the world to hear. Points of light swirled as the sprites came alive at the disturbance. Aloe kicked the door shut behind her, throwing up her hands. Her wards sang their song, coming alive again as her glamour dissolved—and she stomped in, throwing her pouch toward a crate against one wall. The last of her masking illusion faded, leaving her sharp-eared and blonde again. “Really?” she said, glaring at the green-furred shape behind the counter. “I was gone for an hour. Two, tops. You couldn’t keep your trap shut for that long?” Daisy hopped to her feet, tail wagging, and ambled out onto the shop floor. The sunbirds settled to their roosts overhead, quieting again. Apparently, the party was over. A sigh rippled from her throat—but when Daisy rubbed against her, whining, Aloe rolled her eyes. “Fine,” she mumbled, crouching to give a good solid rub. The knurl rolled, bad leg waving through the air. Her tongue lolled out between rows of razor-sharp teeth. A low whuffing echoed through the store. Aloe looked up in time to avoid a headbutt from a low-slung, ferretlike creature. “Yeah, I didn’t forget about you either, Rat,” she said, ruffling the beast’s long, tufted ears. One last caress of his plush, fluffy fur and she withdrew, standing. “Now scram. It’s not dinnertime yet and both of you know it.” Daisy let out a long-suffering whine, trudging back toward her bed behind the counter, but Rat stayed where he was, blinking owlishly up at Aloe. Who groaned, shaking her head. “Fine,” she mumbled, scooping up the pollam. The sneaky little git crawled up to her shoulder, his claws sinking into the fabric of her sweater. She mumbled curses under her breath as she strode forward, grabbing an apron from its hook on the wall. Rat squeaked as she threw the heavy canvas loop over her head, jostling him in the process. She tied the strings behind her, giving the fuzzball a quick peck on the forehead. A grin spread across her face at his squeal of protest. “That’s the tax,” she said. And with him perched there, rocking at her every step, she set about the seemingly-insurmountable task of keeping the Dragon’s charges fed. She scooped grain from a sturdy-sided tub for the smaller critters, pulled a tray of frozen feed mice from the back for the carnivores. Daisy stole three of those for herself, trotting away with her lopsided gait before Aloe could snatch them from her jaws. A wide, smooth-walled bowl of sugar syrup on the desk for the sprites and pixies, and she was done. Aloe sank into the chair behind the counter, her eyelids drooping. “There,” she mumbled. “All set. And you guys didn’t starve or anything.” None of the creatures scattered through the shop responded, too absorbed in their meal. She smiled. Her eyelids sank closed. Leaning back, she- A low bark split the quiet. Aloe jolted back awake. “W-What? What’s-” Daisy laid her head on Aloe’s leg, red eyes deep and mournful. Aloe stared at her. “What?” she mumbled. Her thoughts were thick and murky, like- “Oh.” She pressed a hand to her face, grimacing. “Yeah. You’re right.” It was barely sundown out there, and she was already fighting the urge to pass out? “I’m gettin’ weak, Daisy. Watch. I’ll be keeping old-people hours in no time.” She willed away the fog, grabbing a glass jar from beneath the polished wood of the counter. “Hush,” she mumbled, rolling her eyes at the reproachful look she’d swear Daisy gave her. “It’s fine. I just need to have an early night here soon.” Daisy couldn’t talk, thankfully. She stayed blissfully silent as Aloe dug three of the caffeine pills from the jar, downing them dry. With one last grimace at the bitter taste left on her tongue, she grabbed a thick-bristled brush from beside her chair. “C’mere. You’re shedding all over the store. Can’t take you anywhere.” As soon as Aloe’s fingers touched the wooden handle, Daisy perked up. Green ears pricked, she trotted back over, rubbing herself the length of Aloe’s leg. Aloe only smiled, starting to rake the brush through the hound’s thick coat. “Big baby,” she murmured, shaking her head. Each fistful she set aside, containing the loose, coarse strands as best she could. Knurl weren’t a particularly useful breed so far as spell components went, but their fur was an additive in some schools of potionwork. Daisy might as well earn her keep, since she lived in the Dragon rent-free. Bent over the fearsome creature as it rolled on the ground, paws flailing, she almost missed the creak of the Dragon’s door opening. “Hi!” she called, giving her brush a tug—but the damned thing was snarled up in the wiry fur. She grimaced, trying to work it free, but the bristles were well and truly caught. “I’ll- I’ll be right there!” “Hey?” she heard a young man call back. “Uh…I just need some dog food. I’m sure I can find it.” Aloe snorted. “Real funny,” she said. “Seriously, though, flying beasts on the top rows, ground creatures on the bottom. I do not deal with waterkin races.” Never again. “Your basic feed and grooming supplies are up toward the front. Prepared and treated components behind the counter. And if you’ve got a specialty order, let me know and we can-” “What the hell is this place?” She froze. Her brush stopped its pulling. She’d been around long enough to learn how to read a person—and there was way, way too much fear in that voice. She looked up. A man strode into the Dragon, brown eyes round as saucers. His arms were wrapped tight around a book bag, his skin bone-white. Every time one of the sunbirds leapt past, their tails dropping embers to smoulder and die in the air, he jumped away, letting out a tiny yelp. “What the fuck,” she heard him mumble. “Why don’t-” “You good?” Aloe said. She worked the brush forward. With one last jerk and the faint sound of snapping fur, she pulled it out, giving Daisy an apologetic rub. The brush clattered down on the counter, and she stood, coming around to the front. The man hadn’t gotten any calmer in the few seconds it took her. She frowned, leaning back on her heels. He was still wearing his human glamour, too, when most would drop their illusions as soon as they stepped indoors. This was…strange. She hated strange. Especially when it might be someone trying to pull off something foul. Humming under her breath, she spun the sound toward her wards, and- Nothing. Her blood chilled. The wisp of her magic she’d intended to reinforce her wards dissipated into open air. All of the protections she’d laid over the Dragon’s shop floor were gone, like they’d never been there at all. Her first reaction was denial. It was impossible. Totally and completely out of the picture. She’d set them herself, and they’d been right here when she got back from the bus. They hadn’t been forgotten. Her second reaction was anger. Because if she hadn’t forgotten to set her wards, that meant someone else had busted them down—and there weren’t a lot of candidates right now. She balled her hands into fists, taking a deep lungful of air. If someone was here to hurt her charges, to hurt her, she’d make them regret it. Humming a low, almost-inaudible note, she pinged the guy. What are you hiding? And there, with the note still swirling around her, Aloe’s third reaction was fear. Because her spell should have resonated with the man’s magic, bouncing back to her and carrying his signature with it. But that magical ripple that should have been laden with magic had… Nothing. Nothing at all. With a sickening lurch, Aloe realized the man standing in the middle of her bestiary, where only one of Ora’s Children should be, was totally and completely human. Map D has become one of the most popular self-serve event management tools as the easiest way to sell your floor space and secure sponsors, deliver a robust companion mobile app for in-person attendees or host entirely in a self-contained virtual venue.
Use Map D to manage any type of event:

Events are more fun when it’s easier to participate. 2023.03.12 22:45 Passero82 Weight impact on Zwift?
I just ordered an SB20 so I can start using Zwift. I'm out of shape, overweight and in dire need of some exercise.
I was wondering, since cycling outside, carrying more weight is a bad thing. You have to use more energy to accelerate and to keep yourself in motion.
On an exercise bike indoor, you don't have such a thing since you don't have the negative effect of air resistance and so on.
Is this something that Zwift keeps in mind? For example, will the resistance be higher if you are heavier? Normally if you lose weight, you have to spend less energy to get to the same speed but will this same be felt on Zwift?

2023.03.11 03:30 kyrene520 LED display controller
https://www.xygledscreen.com/ Equipment for LED display control LED display controller, also known as LED asynchronous control system or LED display control card, is the core component of LED graphic display. It is responsible for receiving the screen display information from the computer serial port, putting it into the frame memory, and generating the serial display data and scan control timing required by the LED display screen according to the partition driving mode.
definition LED display mainly displays various characters, symbols and graphics. The screen display information is edited by the computer, pre placed into the frame memory of the LED display screen through the RS232 / 485 serial port, and then displayed and played one by one in a circle. The display mode is colorful and can work offline. LED display is widely used in various industries because of its flexible control, convenient operation, high stability and long service life.
classification Synchronous controller LED display synchronization controller is mainly used for indoor or outdoor full-color large screen display to display video, text, notification, etc. in real time. The LED display screen synchronization control system controls the working mode of the LED display screen, which is basically the same as the monitor of the computer. It maps the images on the computer monitor in real time at the update rate of at least 60 frames per second. It usually has the color display ability of multi grayscale, which can achieve the effect of multimedia advertising. Its main features are real-time, rich expression, complex operation and high price. A set of LED display synchronization control system is generally composed of a sending card, a receiving card and a DVI display card.
Sending card Asynchronous controller LED display asynchronous controller is also called LED display offline control system or offline card. It is mainly used to display various characters, symbols, graphics or animation. The screen display information is edited by the computer, pre placed into the frame memory of the LED display through the RS232 / 485 serial port, and then displayed and played one by one. The display mode is colorful and varied. Its main features are: simple operation, low price, wide range of use. LED display simple asynchronous control system can only display digital clock, text and special characters. In addition to the function of a simple control system, the asynchronous control system for LED display screen graphics and text has the biggest feature that it can control the display screen content in different regions. Support analog clock display, countdown, picture, table and animation display. It has the functions of timing switch, temperature control and humidity control.
component Synchronous controller The sending card displays the content to be displayed on the VGA display according to the specific format and certain playing order required by the LED display screen; On the other hand, the picture displayed on the VGA display is sent to the control board through the acquisition card, which is the interface card between the VGA display card and the LED screen.
The receiving card receives the video signal (control signal and data signal) transmitted from the sending card, separates the data in the video signal through the bit plane, stores it in the external buffer by field, and then reads it out by zone and transmits it to the display driving screen.
Asynchronous controller The display data edited by the computer is stored in the display screen control system in advance, and the normal display of the LED display screen will not be affected after the computer is turned off. Such a control system is an asynchronous control system card.
As a strategic emerging industry of a new economic growth point, the Internet of things has good market benefits. From 2009 when the United States, the European Union, China and other countries proposed the development policy of the Internet of things, the Internet of things has experienced a stage of high-speed development. Traditional enterprises and it giants have laid out the Internet of things one after another. The Internet of things has accelerated its penetration in many fields such as manufacturing, retail, service and public utilities. The Internet of things is on the eve of large-scale explosive growth. In 2015, the global Internet of things market reached 62.4 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year increase of 29%. By 2018, the global Internet of things device market is expected to reach 103.6 billion US dollars, with a compound growth rate of 21% from 2013 to 2018. In 2019, the number of new Internet of things device access will increase from 1.691 billion in 2015 to 3.054 billion.
It can be seen that the current development of the "Internet of things" in China is in full swing, and more and more goods and devices will be connected to the Internet of things in the future. Under this background, our LED display industry is naturally not willing to lag behind, and now some led enterprises have begun to plan.
Therefore, as the most critical "brain" of LED display, the control system naturally plays the role of "pacesetter".

I already have one of the titles in mind. How does 'Gist and Ghost' sound?
Also, from 7:00 on Friday evening, (in Ireland time) to 12:00 on Sunday I will not be able to answer you questions now, as I am going indoor camping. So if you wonder why I haven't responded, that's why.
But with that said, Good Riddance and Stay Safe. Have a Good Day.

They have unique electronic and optical properties that make them useful in a wide range of applications, including electronics, biomedicine, and energy. The size of a quantum dot is so small that it causes quantum confinement of electrons, which gives them unique optical and electrical properties. Specifically, quantum dots exhibit fluorescence, meaning they can absorb and emit light at specific wavelengths, which can be tuned by changing the size of the particle. This property makes quantum dots useful in applications such as medical imaging and LED displays.

In other words, it "remembers" the electrical state it was in the last time it was used. The memristor was first theorized in 1971 by Leon Chua, a professor of electrical engineering and computer science at the University of California, Berkeley. However, it wasn't until 2008 that the first practical memristor was developed by a team of researchers at HP Labs. Memristors have several potential applications in electronics, including as a replacement for traditional storage devices such as hard drives and flash memory. Memristors have the potential to be faster, more energy-efficient, and more durable than traditional storage devices, and they may also be able to store more data in a smaller physical space.

Unlike classical computers, which use bits to represent data and perform calculations, quantum computers use quantum bits or qubits, which can exist in multiple states simultaneously. One of the key advantages of quantum computing is its ability to perform calculations at a much faster rate than classical computers. This is because quantum computers can perform many calculations simultaneously, thanks to the principle of superposition, which allows qubits to exist in multiple states at once. Additionally, quantum computers can use a technique called entanglement, which allows multiple qubits to be linked together in such a way that the state of one qubit is dependent on the state of the other. Quantum computing has many potential applications, including in the fields of cryptography, optimization, and machine learning.

Unlike conventional electronics, which rely on the charge of electrons to encode information, spintronics uses the intrinsic spin of electrons to store and manipulate data. In spintronics, the spin of electrons is used to represent binary information, with up-spin electrons representing a "1" and down-spin electrons representing a "0". This allows for the creation of non-volatile, low-power memory devices that do not rely on the constant flow of electric current to maintain their state. Spintronics has the potential to revolutionize the electronics industry by enabling the creation of faster, smaller, and more energy-efficient devices.

By changing the angle at which these layers are stacked, it is possible to alter the electronic properties of the materials in a precise and controllable way. The term "twistronics" was first introduced in a 2018 paper by researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), who demonstrated that by adjusting the twist angle between two layers of graphene, they could create a new type of superconductor that exhibits unique electronic properties.

This approach allows for a greater number of components to be packed into a smaller space, resulting in faster and more efficient circuits. In a traditional two-dimensional IC, the components are arranged side by side on a single plane. However, as the number of components in an IC increases, the size of the chip can become a limiting factor, as the distances between components must be large enough to avoid interference and crosstalk. By stacking components vertically in a 3D IC, the distances between components can be reduced, allowing for faster communication and reduced power consumption.

Artificial photosynthesis Artificial photosynthesis is a process that mimics the natural process of photosynthesis, which is the process by which plants and other organisms convert sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide into energy-rich organic compounds such as sugars. Artificial photosynthesis aims to create a similar process using man-made materials and techniques in order to produce renewable fuels and other useful chemicals. The basic principle of artificial photosynthesis is to use a catalyst to split water molecules into oxygen and hydrogen. The hydrogen can then be used as a fuel or combined with carbon dioxide to produce hydrocarbons or other chemicals.

Fusion power has the potential to provide a virtually limitless source of clean and sustainable energy. The basic principle of fusion power is to use the energy released by nuclear fusion to generate heat, which can then be used to produce electricity. To achieve this, researchers are exploring a variety of different methods for achieving controlled nuclear fusion reactions, including magnetic confinement, inertial confinement, and laser-induced fusion. One of the main advantages of fusion power is its potential to provide a virtually unlimited source of energy.

It works by raising and lowering heavy objects, such as large masses of concrete or steel, in order to store or release potential energy. The basic principle of a gravity battery is to raise a heavy object to a high position, such as the top of a tower or building, in order to store potential energy. When energy is needed, the object is allowed to fall or descend, converting the potential energy into kinetic energy which can then be harnessed and converted into electricity.

Artificial uterus An artificial uterus, also known as an artificial womb, is a hypothetical device that could potentially be used to support the growth and development of a fetus outside of the mother's body. The idea behind an artificial uterus is to provide a safe and controlled environment for fetuses that cannot develop normally in the mother's womb due to various medical conditions or complications. The concept of an artificial uterus has been explored in science fiction for many years, but it is still largely a theoretical idea in the realm of science and medicine. However, there have been some experimental studies using animal models to investigate the feasibility of developing an artificial uterus.
