I'm looking to buy a couple new games, I hope this is the right place to ask for recommendations ahaha
I prefer playing on PC, but I do have a Switch. I don't really like competitive games, I prefer single player games. I like stuff that's like... life sim/farming sim type games or rpg games
I really like when games have character customization, graphics don't matter too much, I like anything, pixel style, cartoon-y, slightly realistic... doesn't matter much. I kindaaa like if a game has romance options but that's not a requirement.
Some games I have/like are... Stardew Valley, Cozy Grove, Sun Haven, My Time At Portia, Coral Island, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Skyrim, Animal Crossing, Sims 4, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Legend Of Zelda BOTW
I don't like Mass Effect, idk I just neverrr could get into any of the Mass Effect games The Fallout games are okay. I liked the Dragon Age games, until Inquisition, for some reason I just could not get into Inquisition, but I might give it another chance eventually.

I've played an hidden object game where you find listed items, it was situated on a tropical island and you played as a woman (I'm not sure about this part, but you were searching for your father?) and I remember 2 levels: one level was on a beach where you had to find parts and assemble a photo camera and another level was on a runaway with an Hercules C-130 aircraft where you had to find parts and do something to enter that plane's cockpit and continue searching for stuff in there. There were more levels, but that's all the details I remember.

So as the title suggests, I need help understanding how to unlock certain engrams for my character. To preface this I started a new character on an unofficial pc cluster on lost island( never played it before). Then I realized that for some reason the maewing saddle and a few other things are greyed out.
This server also seems to have Auto Unlock all engrams on and I realized I couldn’t get the saddles or net gun long after I hit that lvl requirement for them. After seeing this I travelled to fjordur and started playing on there, but the engrams are still greyed out? Did I mess up my character by playing on lost island first with Auto Unlock on? Because I don’t have any engrams points to spend if I even wanted to….

I am not a Monster Hunter expert. I've only ever played World and watched the movies, so if this is a stupid question, I'm sorry. Today, I started playing World again (this time on pc), and I ran into an anjanath that was super chill. This surprised me, since the last anjanaths I met (on ps4) were hyper aggressive predators. Me and this anjanath were chill for like 10 minutes; I followed him throughout the island and he only roared at me once. He only got mad after he laid down and I crouched next to him (perfect bro time, I thought), and then he saw me and we got into a fight (I chased and fought him for half an hour but he ran away).

I'm pretty sure not all anjanaths are that chill. I even ran in front of him at times and he never paid attention to me. I wasn't doing anything sneaky either. So.... do different individual monsters of a species have different personalities? Or is this a bug? Or am I insane?

Figured this was worth a topic. Firstly why would you want one? A guild bank gives you five hundred storage spots that can be used for anything that's not bound. I use mine for gear, master writs, etc.
Anyways to get a guild bank you need 10 members in your guild. If your guild drops under ten members later you won't lose anything- you just won't be able to access it until you get back to 10.
The obvious way to do this to have ten eso accounts and have them all join. But really, who's got time for that?
So what you want to do is make your guild, it takes like 30 seconds. Next you want to go to edit guild and set it so only the guild leader can withdraw anything from the bank. Theres a bunch of other things you can do there- set it so no one can use guild chat etc. The one other thing I make sure to do is set it so no one can donate items or gold. I don't want their junk or their gold.
So to the key part- how do we get ten members? Go to starter areas- Khenarthis Roost, Bleackrock Island, etc. If you're on console join zone voice chat- don't worry, you're not actually going to talk to anyone. But joining voice chat will bring up a list of everyone else in your vicinity (around 100 feet) who has voice chat turned on. Simply click their names in that list and click invite to guild. If you're on PC theres no in game voice chat so you'll have to run around, look for newbs, go to your guild, click add member and type in their name to send the invite.
So you're probably thinking "won't they just quit?" 80% of new players never get past that starter island. Another 10% quit pretty soon after getting to the mainland. So if you recruit 15 members chances are you'll never need to recruit another member. Because the vast majority of people quit the game long before they even look at guilds.
Lastly you may be thinking "isn't this kind of a dick move- recruiting people to a guild that's never going to actually do anything?" Yeah, it kinda is. But it's not a violation of any ZOS rule so.... 🤷‍♀️

I never ran in Staten Island and would like to take the Ferry and run a few miles there next week. Are there any running routes or parks with good running paths that you guys recommend?

Cliff Smith grunts as he wraps his hands around the barbell, bends his knees, and lowers his six-foot-three frame toward the floor. He tenses his entire body, exhales twice, and starts pulling 455 pounds upward. His legs shake as he stands fully upright, and then he lowers the weight, breathes deeply, and does it all over again. The five reps are a personal best for Smith (better known as Method Man), who loves starting his day by chasing PRs.
On this morning, he's in a Staten Island gym pondering his next milestone birthday (he turns 50 in March) and crushing sets of deadlifts, pullups, and barbell rows. "I gotta get my roses now," he says,"because I'm almost 50 fucking years old. Damn near 50 years old, bruh. "The Grammy Award-winning rap veteran has focused creativity into a host of projects lately. He appears in Starz's drama Power Book II: Ghost (returning for the second half of its first season in December); he voiced the character Ben Urich in Marvels, a narrative-fiction podcast; and he's working on new music.
His morning workout has readied him for all that-and it's kept him from predawn video-game marathons. In 2018, Smith says, he was battling insomnia, frequently waking at 2:00 and playing NBA2K. Realizing he was "just wasting time," Smith searched for a more productive use of his early-morning hours. "So at 4:00 , I find myself in the gym working out," he says. "Two days turned into three days. Three days turned into five days, and I've been consistent ever since. " Bonus: His insomnia is gone.
Smith now weighs 219, 12 pounds less than he weighed when he first started training. He hits legs Mondays, shoulders Tuesdays, back Wednesdays, chest Thursdays, and arms Fridays. "He's a beast," says his workout partner, Joey Crespo. "Our routine has only been heavy, heavy, all year round. "
At the moment, that means gritting out three sets of seated lat pulldowns, followed by a core exercise that has him on his knees, rolling a wheel forward, challenging his abs. He finishes the session by sitting on a bench with a harness connected to his forehead, a weight hanging in front of his chest. He lowers his head to look at the ground, then flexes his neck muscles to raise his head and look straight ahead, an old-school neck exercise that few gym-goers will do. Smith does it regularly. "Regardless of how tired I get, no matter what the workout is, I at least will try it," he says between deep breaths. "I'm not going to say no to anything. "
You may not have Method Man's fancy neck-training gear or his deadlift weight. But if you have a resistance band, you can try his favorite at-home regimen.
Pushups
Do 25 to 30 reps. Aim for 5 sets.
Banded Curl
Stand on a resistance band, its ends held at your sides, your core tight. Curl up, squeezing your biceps; then lower. That's 1 rep; do 15 to Do 5 sets.
Banded Shoulder Press
Stand on a resistance band, its ends held at your shoulders, your core tight. Tighten your shoulder blades and press the band overhead. Pause, then return to the start. That's 1 rep; do 15 to Do 5 sets.

I don't understand the appeal in wanting sailing as a skill and refusing to make it a minigame or side activity. I've read all the arguments, seen the plugin, listened to sea shanty 2 on repeat all day, and I still don't get why it's so popular.

The main arguments i've seen for sailing are these:

1) It'll be so much fun to explore the world and see everything.

• Yea that does sound fun, first maybe the first dozen times. But this would be a skill so you'd need to do is thousands of times.
• Plus if you really find mindless exploration enjoyable might I recommend Sea of Thieves on Xbox game pass. It's 1$ for 3 months of Xbox game pass ultimate on PC. I've played it a bit but it's the kind of game that mainly focuses on exploration and it loses it's charm quickly. It's a LOT of fun for those first few hours, but then it just gets repetitive and boring.
• Also, just look at how Zeah was when it first came out, do you really want to see 20+ new islands just like old Zeah? They can't randomly generate new islands because sailing won't be instanced, without instances randomly generating islands would murder the servers even more then they are being murdered already.

2) You'll be able to fast travel around the world, wherever you want.

• I can already do that with teleports. There is no where I'd want to go on the coast that I can't already get to by teleport. Anywhere I would want to go are locked behind quests, which after beating the quests I'd be able to get teleports to anyway.

3) You'll be able to do all sorts of skilling methods on the seas. But they won't be better then other skilling methods on land.

• The fact that they're part of sailing already makes them better even if the xp is extremely low because they would be the only way to train sailing. It would be a constant nagging feeling in the back of your mind of "You could get doing fishing while sailing to gain sailing xp which you need" making you just want to do sailing because you have no choice.

4) You can find sea monsters!

• And just shoot a cannon at them like tempross? That feels really cool the first time, then will get boring fast.
• The only skill that would matter while doing ocean pvm would be sailing and I guess range. So you'd just be ranging every monster and sailing away from an attack, rinse and repeat until 99 sailing.

5) It's the only skill suggestion that wouldn't effect combat.

• You really think sea monsters wouldn't have new pvm items? They'd need something to incentivize people to actually kill the sea monsters outside of getting 99 sailing. Do you ever go back to wintertodt after 99 firemaking? Unless you're a pet hunter, you'd never go back.
• Also everyone just doesn't like the part of shamanism of being able to 'augment your existing gear with powerful magic bonuses'. These bonuses could be stuff like increase farming yield, more aggro, less aggro, etc.. it doesn't need to straight up being a combat buff, people just think that is what it'll be. Plus we can just vote no to those kinds of buffs.
• Plus that's kind of the point of skills, you train skills to get better stuff or bonuses to increase your effectiveness in the rest of the game. Mining and smithing less so nowadays then before but people have been getting for a rework of those two skills for a while now, because outside of training the skill it's kinda pointless.

My take on sailing

It seems like people love the idea of sailing, as a concept, without digging much deeper into the implications of what sailing being a skill would mean. It would be fun to experience for a short time, then just become another slog to get 99 sailing just to get max cape. With no meaningful rewards outside of the act of sailing in it of itself.
The skill would be on par with runecrafting, higher levels would get plenty of money, it would become long and tedious to train, and the rewards of the skill itself are kind of useless because you can just buy runes.

What I want sailing to be

To me, trying to contain sailing into just a skill is a HUGE waste of potential.
This is how I would want 'sailing' implemented into the game, just imagine it.
You head to a dock with your pals to charter a voyage (sort of like temple trekking you determine a difficulty of your voyage).
Everyone has supplies to do the event, cannonballs, ropes, planks, etc. and everyone is teleported onto your ship you made with construction/crafting.
You all stand around on the boat like in DS2 while one person pilots the ship in a sort of top down perspective.
The pilot steers into or around random events like a boarding party, bad weather, a sea monster, etc. and you all collectively must overcome the random event.
The sea monster could be a kraken and it wraps up your ship so you can walk around the ship and kill the monster with melee, magic, or range, kinda like a boss from a raid.
Then eventually you reach your destination where you are on an instanced island with your crew and depending on the difficulty of your excursion you might get random loot, buried treasure, or just an island of valuable resources that you can store on your ship.
The ship could be like 10x your inventory size that everyone fills up and then you have to head back to the main land. If your ship goes down you lose all your resources you collected during your voyage and if you make it back you can keep all your spoils.
When people say that sailing could be a minigame, I think they mean that making it a skill is just unnecessarily narrowing what could be a beautiful update.

Summary

I don't understand why people want sailing to be a skill when it could be so much more. Requiring sailing to be a skill implies tedious training to be able to enjoy it. Wouldn't you'd rather have a fun and enjoyable thing right from the beginning? Something you can do with your friends in a collaborate manor to actually explore new things constantly rather then just doing it once?

Is there anyone going into this April class from Staten Island?? If I go in then I would like to carpool… heard we’re given a few days to sort it out but it doesn’t hurt to ask a few days in advance

Playing on my realm on bedrock on my pc. Went to the end and was looking for end cities some ~5000 blocks from the portal. Long story short I died and lost my stuff.
I died far in the end before and my friend was able to retrieve my stuff like 30 minutes later. Will my it despawn?
EDIT: Forgot to mention as well, i tried to go back multiple times and every time i tried to throw the ender pearl through the small portal it would spawn me underneath the ender dragon island. It happened to both of my friends as well. We threw the pearl in every way possible. is this a bug or something???? i should not be getting killed and losing my stuff every time i try to go through the portal.
