So... we were eyeing for almost a year now a TransAtlantic. (first looked for cruises on Wonder and Oddessey)
A few minutes ago we pulled the trigger and we booked a balcony room on Jewel :) We did Harmony 6 years ago in the Eastern Caribbean but this TransAtlantic is a first, also the first Radiance class for us.
I clicked I would like to pick the room but somehow during the booking that didn't happen during the process, would that still come?
My wife is battling chronic Migraine and two weeks before our departure she will get a new medicine (with I hopes it does something). That's the reason we booked this because we love Disney and we are from the Netherlands and this cruise ends in Amsterdam. We are unsure what flying does to her and her condition so we wanted to minimize that as much as possible (although the flight to Orlando is unavoidable).
And does anyone has tips because there are more "sea" days and not that many excursion possibilities?
We are familiar of course with RC but should we get the extra dining and beverage packages?

My (17f) mother (50f) died 1 year ago due to cancer. It was shocking for my family but oh well death is inevitable it eventually happens to everyone. I didn't have the best relationship with my mother due to her mostly favoring my sister (19f) so I didn't really care when she died, it was like waking up to see that the person you see everyday no longer wants to see you.
Here's the issue. I don't like being around people that are constantly crying so I skipped most of my mother's funeral and went home to play some video games and take care of my cat. My sister is still mad about me skipping the funeral and hasn't let go of it yet. After the funeral she threw a fit at me and called me an emotionless bi word to leave her and my father alone with our other relatives asking where I was. I told her I didn't wanna stay and this is my way of grieving, she didn't buy that. I received many calls from my aunts and uncles asking why I was absent through out the funeral and I had to waste my time explaining this is my way of grieving.
Yesterday my sister decided to visit us and my father cooked her favourite dish. My sister got emotional on the table stating how she remembered mom used to cook this dish for her and it tastes the same. I told her that was incredibly nice but she should stop crying or else I will take her potatoes (I love potatoes). She got annoyed and told me something in the lines of she's just expressing her feelings and there's nothing wrong with it and I should express my emotions too and she knows how much I also miss mom. I told her I don't about someone's death and it happens to everyone eventually and I have more important things to worry about. She threw a fit on the table and started cussing at me but my father managed to calm her down. She didn't talk to me for the rest of the day and left early in the morning. My father told me my sister is just emotional and I should Atleast act like I'm sad about my mother's death around her. AITA?

I’m so ashamed of myself at this point. I messed up in December and that led to us breaking up a 3.5 year relationship. I’ve tried every aspect to win her back since January and she’s slowly strung me along. She didn’t reply until the next day when she said she ignored me becsuse she thought I was playing a game and messing with her. Infuriated by this I said it’s best if we cut it off here. She agreed and said let’s block each other - I ended up backing down and begging her crying on the phone to give us another chance. She coldly refused saying we need at least a two month break. She eventually said she’d compromise - if I’d give her my social media passwords and show I was committed we could talk again in 2 months. She then even came up w the idea that we’d go on holiday together upon reconciliation. Well I asked if she’d truly want that and she said she’d think about it. Today I stupidly made a whole presentation sort of short story of our 3.5 year long relationship - It was a pretty long sort of PowerPoint thing with photos and lots of writing from me. I asked her to give us a chance to take that holiday. After I saw she read it I asked if she’d reply - she said she didn’t have any. Background: Meet during early pandemic days online we used to live in the same city, spend hours talking on the phone. During that time I only saw him as a good friend and kinda little bro vibes given the age gap and because I was going through some personal issues. I moved from that city to pursue my Masters to the opposite side of the country. We stayed in contact every couple of months just a quick check up. Last summer he reached out to me to seek advice about career and just to check on me. After I updated him on my life eventually he asked about my dating life, I was reopening to dating after a breakup 8 months prior. He shoot his shot last December with me and we have been doing long distance since then.
I should preface by saying his confidence on this working out is pretty high while I’m skeptical (mostly because Im scared of getting hyped).
I’m going back this summer to visit friends. Today he let me know his interested in us spending time together this summer and he wants us to spend at least 2 days or more together if both of our schedule permits to figure out if I feel comfortable around him n we vibe) because if it does he’s interested in starting to figure out how we figure out to move in with each other when I move back after grad school.
TLDR: Meeting never met for first time in summer need advice on what would people suggest for first meet and anything I should know or be expecting.

This is me making an attempt to make some friends. I’ve lived in NC 13yrs and I’m originally from PA. I was in the Marines in 2010 to 2014. Out of all those years in government work, I have big a big firearms user and have over 15yrs of practice and exercise with them. I’m very proficient. It was a side hobby outside the military aspect. I go to church on Sundays but lately have found myself not going out so much to church and I think it’s depression really.
All of my family is in central PA and I’m far away. I’m also a father of 3 beautiful children who I love unconditionally.

Hi I am undiagnosed however my current partner, therapist, and old psychiatrist believe I have BPD. I was just underaged when I was speaking to my psychiatrist and couldn't get diagnosed. We were always under the assumption of it despite the diagnosis requirements.
So I started my transition to a trans female 7 months ago, the first person I came out to was my FP (online friend) of 5 years, we talked pretty much everyday, knew everything going on in each others lives, and have met up several times. He was my rock despite him not knowing, when i was having my worst emotional flairs he was there for me.
We got into an argument about my transition a month ago, I was frustrated with several people in our friendgroup misgendering me. One of our mutuals said that "i will never see (deadname) as a woman" in a server that i wasnt in but still had access to. Our argument got heated and I said to my FP I'm drawing a line and said im only being friends with people that respect my new pronouns and name, and that im not puting up with bullshit.
After that he basically said I'm too defensive and not reasonable. That I've become too argumentative (about my gender lol). He then unadded me and blocked me. I've been letting this fester for a month now and I'm at my tipping point. I'm scared for my safety because I'm going to be hone alone for a week in a few days. I've recently picked up PoGo after first playing it in 2016. Since then nothing changed for the rural players, but I moved and now live on the outskirts of smallish city (14k citizens) where I have access to a couple of gyms and around ~20 pokestops after 20 minute walk. It's not much, most of my walks end in net negative ball gain, but I'm hopefull with spring coming in, once I get the bike, I'll be able to farm those pokestops more easily, and even get some exercise in, which is great. Maybe once I'm able to nominate pokestops I'll be able to get some more stops in the city, but it just seems so far away, since a rural player has no way to gain exp efficently.

Enough with the sob stories and on to the main point.
How on earth is any new/returning player supposed to catch up with years of events? How am I supposed to get for example the legendary birds or their shadow forms, if Giovanni is the only source of shadow leggies, with 3 months rotation?
Recently I learned that the research breakthrough used to be a good source of legendaries, but now it became a caricature of itself, with parasect being the best reward there, just for the dust.
There were 3 remote raid passes given daily for some chunk of time, which seems unreal given the current state of the game.
What I'm getting at here is there are no mechanics to catch up. I think It's straight unfair that I will never be able to have a Shadow Articuno for GBL, just because I didn't play during some time whatever.
What happened to this game, why are all the good things cut out and all we are left with is 10 TM 1100 coin box in the shop? Is post-covid really that bad for Niantic?
Solutions
To avoid this being a rant type post, I decided to outline some ideas which we could discuss in the comments.
Number one, for the past shadow legendaries, I think it would be a decent idea to introduce some kind of "Rocket shop", where we could exchange points earned for beating rockets for items or encounters with shadow legendaries. That way the top players can now try for better stat rolls on anything and new players have a way of getting previous Giovanni encounters. Not to mention it's crazy that some people were able to catch multiple Shadow Mewtwos by utilizing obsolete mechanics, this will fix it and allow anyone to get as many shadow whatevers as they like.
Two, there should be other ways of earning coins than just the gyms. Since this game aims for daily user interaction, I think introducing some kind of daily routine for the 50 coins would be great and a nice benefit for rural players, for example me, where instead of having to walk 15 minutes one way to the closest gym, everyday, using the same path (this gets tiresome, you know), I might decide to do the entire routine, like: walk 5 kilometers, throw 3x excellent, some other task from the pool -> 50 coins. Personally, what I would do is increase the coin limit to be weekly, so anyone could grind it out on the weekend. I believe this would focus players activity to the same time window, increasing the chance they meet up and actually interact, which this game is supposed to be about.
Three, fix the goddang shop. Right now it is literally pointless to open it up (thank you guys for posting the 400 coins INSANE boost box the other day, I would've never known about it). The daily box is like a grim joke, often giving less than a gift or a single pokestop. The items in the shop are insanely overpriced and not even relevant, honestly, you can live without them. I think it would be great to introduce subsection to the shop, some kind of a candy store, where we could buy candies for our pokemons. How would that work I'm not sure, maybe present a daily choice of X candies for Y different mons?
Four - super pokestops. If there are small amounts of pokestops, why are they not more generous in their rewards? How is a player with 5 pokestops in his city supposed to compare to someone in big city, who doesn't even need to move from his apartment to spin 10 pokestops (I know, extreme Tokyo example, but still, even having one stop on your home is a huge advantage - I know I would buy an autocatcher if I had one).
Five - better raid discovery. Being so far away from the closest gym, I can't even see it on the map. Often when I go on a walk I find that there are no interesting raids at the time (which is funny, because 16-18 should be the top time of activity). I also don't want to spend hours outside just to get one or two raids in, when they finally happen (again, rural player experience...). Increasing the radar range, or maybe marking the gyms I want to know about would be great. That mechanic already kind of exists, because when the game "flies" to your pokemon in the gym, sometime you can get a glympse of the surroundings, which is how I've been doing it with smaller or greater success. You also need to get lucky on the gym locations. But then again, your mon gets kicked out and you are stuck with nothing.

Final question:
Am I in the wrong here? Is this supposed to work like that, that if a one-time available mon happens to be meta relevant then just suck it up, too bad, should've played the game? What are your thoughts on that, because I'm sure my post will invoke violent emotions in the "hardcore since 2016" players.

I just got my first smart light set up in my living room, using Mi Home. My question is, would it be possible to set different colors for different schedules? For example, I would like for the light to automatically be brighter during the day, and have a dimmer setting at night. Right now I can't see a way of adding a specific color to a specific schedule so I'm wondering if this is even possible.

Please help, our 6 month puppy went from sleeping in kennel through night (maybe one potty wake-up) and now since last Friday (5days so far) he needs to go out side and poop multiple times a night. Like clockwork the first poop is about 10:15pm.
We are not sleeping and it’s hard to be kind with multiple sessions of barking to go out.
He is not kenneled during the day, food has not changed, and schedule has not changed.
What has changed and I think is minor but sharing is we had our first puppy training class the day before this started (Thursday) he gets small treats during our at home sessions. I’ve switched up the treats in case this was the issue.
I’m exhausted and feeling upset with puppy in the night. Any help!

Various pieces of Grand Theft Auto 6 news has been circulating lately, with a variety of leaks and information hitting the web. For example, just yesterday we learned that famed rapper 50 Cent might play a role in the next -- as yet unannounced -- installment of the GTA series. However, fans are growing tired of waiting and have begun to come up with thier own GTA 6 content to tide themselves over.
Posted to YouTube earlier this week, creator TeaserPlay envisioned the Grand Theft Auto 6 world in Unreal Engine 5. Based on prior leaks and information about the game, the technical or concept demo shows a part of what could be Vice City, as we follow a female character walking and driving around. You can check out the full demo below. It is pretty slick looking save for a few minor things.

Interestingly, this is not the first time we have seen fan content for GTA 6, but it is one of the more recent and diverse creations. In any event, fans seem to be chomping at the bit for new GTA news, but Rockstar is keeping its cards close to the vest. Sadly, this is likely due in part to the leaks that happened in 2022, whereafter Rockstar seemed to hold onto any information in an effort to control the narrative around the game. Despite this, there still have been numerous leaks showing off new characters, a bit of the game world, and some of the tech for making GTA 6.
At the end of the day, we hope it won’t be too long before we get some official GTA 6 news, as there has been speculation of a 2024 or 2025 launch. Realistically, that is not all that far off anymore, so stay tuned as we keep our eyes peeled for any new GTA 6 announcements or information.
