I (23M) have a friend, or rather had. Let's call her A (27F) So I know A since the day we joined college. But we became close friends in late 2021, almost four years later. One thing led to other and we became super close, real fast.
We spent most of our day together, and rest of the time we massaged or called each other, for hours. To be clear A was just my friend and I had no intention of a romantic relationship. Everything went well for 5-6 months. We became what people refer to as BFFs. She promised we'll be friends for life and she'll always be there for me. And so did I.
Then suddenly from April 2022, A's behavior started to change. She started shouting on me, blaming me for everything, picking up fights and basically pouring her anger out on me. I knew it was because her boyfriend was moving out of country (now ex, let's call him S), so I tried to be a good support system for her. But after sometime, I got affected by this erratic behavior and started arguing back (my fault, I know) and A ended up crying on calls due to this.
One day she shouted on me in front of others, on a false accusation. And bitched about me to others. I was hurt, I cried in front of my sister. But yeah, I apologized to A and we got back again. A few days, she showed extra affection and care. And after about a month, I unknowingly called her out about her behavior with a common friend's mother (later I found out, her behavior wasn't that bad and I was provided with wrong information)
She blamed me, which was only fair. But she kept comparing me to other people whom I know talk sh*t about her at her back. So I got emotional and apologised. I told her how badly she was treating me. And how her 'friends-on-pedestal' were jerks.
She just shouted and blocked me everywhere. Returned a soft toy gift, that arrived on that fateful day (later she kept it) I met her and she said she wants space for a week or two. Okay. I got busy with my work. But I made a doodle book for her in my spare time, depicting every detail about her childhood which she told me. I don't know why I thought it was a good idea. But I gave it to her after two weeks. And she messaged, she's better off without me. I somehow still thought it was momentary anger and treid to calm her down and apologize.
And she kept talking to me rudely. At points when she needed help, I helped without asking. Even though my friends and siblings telling me not to pursue her, I did. And finally we talked (a real conversation) in August, she told me all this time she was in depression. A week went by smoothly and I got to know she has broken up with S. And she started hanging out with D. D was our senior and he bitched about her to me and bitched about me to her.
So I tried to tell her, and she shouted on me again and sided with D, calling me liar and she was better off without me, and how D was so good a person. She even showed him my chats. Which D showed to multiple people. She even told our old conversations to her other friends, which got spread out. And even after a week of apologising and explaining she blocked me everywhere..
After a month, she unblocked me and told me, I'm a good guy and I just need to work on my habits. Things got better, she acted good during college fest, like she really cared. And even though I've ADHD and being impulsive, I really worked on my habits and bad traits which bothered her.
Then came her b'day and I made her a nice card, sent her a cake. And she didn't say thanks or she didn't even open the card and kept telling me she'll oepn it later on, when I asked. Things looked better than before, but she still felt distant. I still got one word or late replies, sometimes rude. She refused to take accountability of the fiasco with D and said he was right and I was wrong. But she deleted a Instagram story about him when I jokingly objected. As of now things between A and D doesn't look good.
So comes January 2023, and A tells me she's in relationship with a new guy and is planning to marry him, let's call him R. And she's only telling me all of this. She seemed happy, so I was happy. In between when I complained she was distant, she blocked me out of the blues, everywhere. When she unblocked me, I asked her and she vented out about issues in her family. I listened and again acted as her support system.
Fast forward to February, I was a little sad and tried to talk to her. And she said, 'Don't vent out on me' and blocked me again. She unblocked eventually, and reached out to me by herself, and apologised. Saying she has been overwhelmed by her own issues. Honestly I didn't talk much after that.
Since college was coming to an end, I asked her to hang out or just meet me. And she always came up with an excuse to avoid it. Although she had free time for other people. But somehow, I was one of her best friends. Same continued till last day. And she tried to avoid me even when she was leaving. It crushed me, and I cried that day.
At times she asked me for help. Like covering her shifts (we are residents), so I covered her 8 hour shifts along with my 16 hour shifts for 3 days in July 2022. Again, when no one came to her replacements I've covered her shifts for one more week in January 2023. I've defended her from my batchmates in heated arguments. I've been there when she needed me, or when no one came to her aid. And I've got a response, 'stop counting your favors'
I considered her my best friend. Would've let go of anyone just to be with her. And I did everything for her, with no expectations. Still I didn't get appropriated. My gifts were ignored, I made a cute video on mountains, just for her and she ignored it in the chats. She never apologized or even accepted when she hurt me. Yet she blamed me for everything and avoided me and acted cold most of the times. I've prayed countless days for things to get better between us, for her happiness. I've cried for days, became depressed and she was okay.
I'm not angry at her. I'm grateful for the good days with her. I still wish things would've been better between us. But she has stopped replying to me, so I've stopped talking to her, today will mark a month to it.
But I still want to know, I tried my best, went against everyone just to hold on to her, as I promised. Did everything I could, even changed my basic habits (and I'm thankful I did, I really needed it) to make her feel comfortable. Yet she was so distant and made me feel so unwanted and little, refused to meet or talk to me. As if I wasn't even her friend. And if I can still save this friendship.
TL;DR- Person I considered my best friend, became distant, without explanation. I tried my best and still everything is on the verge of falling apart.

Obviously from that title I should start with my 'credentials'. Back in August/September of 2022 I rented 6xA100 instances and made one of the first kink focused furry models, Zack3D_Kinky. Since then v1 has been downloaded over 10 thousand times directly, and my seedbox has a ratio of 1000. (4gb model and has uploaded 4tb of data while having 46 other seeders). This obviously got quite the attention and with it I joined the Ai community as a model creator.
Since then, I have become the bottom rung of the furry ai community, a model maker who cared about artists and didn't put up with their shit once I started seeing the actual uses of ai models. I tried to at least make mine a middle-ground with v2, stripping artist names so no one person could be replicated, downsized the training data I used by 10x. It still made amazing images, but because of this I seemed to have ticked off a fair few people... which exposed the true point of AI.
A couple months ago I got called out on twitter by a good sized artist for ripping off an artists style, except I didnt. Someone in the AI community saw my stance and trained LoRA modules on my model, and posted them around. Because it had my model name front n center on the title, I got the flack. Why do this? Pure spite, which is what the Ai community runs on though and through. Remember SamDoesArt? That was the warning flag a lot of people ignored. For those unaware SamDoesArt is an artist who early on in the SD craze, requested that their art not be used to train models. Ai bros trained over 20 models on his art specifically right after that. I watched that from the inside happen many times. I know furry models that specifically got training data by scraping 'no-ai' tagged posts, I have seen furry artists have models made of them because 'oof too expensive', I have seen suggestions of getting a wip sketch from an artist and just using that with controlnet to make the final image while bailing on the artist. All of this happening while the top model creators actively joke about taking art from people, one of them even joked about people dying from being poor because "its their fault for buying funkopops" while soliciting donations for their ai model. That is what AI is, its 'these artists have been better than me and now I can steamroll them because I deserve to feel like the best'. One of the most telltale signs of this, is the common view on copyright. If I had a nickel for every discussion of 'copyright shouldn't exist at all, in any form' I would have my money back from those A100 instances. Ethics? Who cares about those I want my popular artist name here artwork of my character, but they charge a reasonable price and I cant afford it so...
AI art, in the most boiled down form, is becoming artist piracy. Just like people who don't pay for videogames, they now have a way to not pay for an artist, so why would they? Its legal too. Just grab up their artwork, feed it through a machine for 20 min, boom recreation of them. People say 'its just a toy' yet get mad about invisible watermarks on their images denoting it as AI, or end up making models of real people and putting them up online next to models that can make porn of those real people. The amount of people saying 'nothing wrong with models of real people, doesnt mean its for porn' while the next line down is 'they ripped out nsfw from the model so its garbage and never use it' is astounding. That alongside a fair few popular posts over in the stablediffusion subreddit having 'I know she looks underage but thats just the style" on their big boobie to camera cleavage exposure.
Because of all of this, a few weeks ago I decided to cease creation of models as my project. With that I got one of the best summaries of the ai community.
I posted my announcement, and within an hour someone sent me a screenshot. It was of one of the top furry model makers posting my announcement and calling me a '(artist) simp' and right below that was 2 messages from different people.
"dude was an asshole" and then "we were never mean to him"
Its just delusion, circlejerking, and power over artists. That is what makes the Ai community big, and is the 3 key pillars to being a successful model maker. Don't let them tell you otherwise.

There's been no official announcement regarding Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse's streaming release date, though we know it will eventually be released on Netflix, rather than Disney+ or HBO Max.
In terms of which of the streaming giants Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released on, Netflix will house the film upon its streaming debut. While again, Sony does not have its own dedicated streaming service, a deal was struck in 2021 between the studio and Netflix. The deal, stating that Netflix would stream Sony's films after theatrical release, was penned for 5 years meaning Across the Spider-Verse is part of the arrangement.
While Sony's Spider-Man content is also streaming on Disney+, due to the collaborations between Sony and Marvel Studios in recent years, Across the Spider-Verse will be a Netflix release. While the deal struck between Marvel Studios and Sony may extend to this film, Disney+ is only allowed to begin streaming Sony's Spider-Man releases upon their release on Netflix. As a result, Netflix will be the first streaming service that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be available on after its theatrical release.
Because it’s airing on FX, you can of course fire up Into the Spider-Verse via FX Now. The Spider-Man franchise is in a pretty interesting place regarding streaming. The various films of Sony's franchise have typically been scattered across multiple services. That said, following a historic deal between Sony and Disney, the many stories of Peter Parker and beyond are now available on Disney+. This includes the original Sam Raimi trilogy, the first Amazing Spider-Man film, and, starting mid-May, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Venom. Notably absent from the Disney-streaming platform so far are The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Morbius, and most significant of all, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Some of the films are not currently available on the service because Sony has pre-existing partnerships with Starz, as that's where most of the absent films are available to stream. That is except for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which is instead only streaming on Fubo TV and FX Now.
If Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse comes to Disney+ before Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse's theatrical run concludes, that would make the House of Mouse's service a likely contender for a streaming release. However, Sony has also historically partnered with Netflix for streaming releases. Up until recently, that's where Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was available to stream, and Sony still brings their other big releases to the service, like Bullet Train and The Woman King.

Sony Animation’s big new Spider-Man movie is about to hit theaters and will be headed to Netflix (at least in the United States) later this year. For a prediction as to when and a bit more about the new movie, here’s what you need to know.
As we covered in 2021, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be headed to Netflix as the service gets both Sony’s animation and live-action content via a first window deal struck in April 2021.
The deal stipulates that all Sony theatrical movies come to Netflix in the first window, which at a minimum, is 120 days after its theatrical release date. If it arrives exactly 120 days after, it’ll be streaming from September 30th, 2023.
With that said, given how big this movie is, we may see it release a few weeks after the fact. Either way, we expect the movie to be available between late September and November 2023.
Will Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Be Streaming On Netflix?

As for the rest of the box office, there's little to get excited about, with nothing else grossing above $10 million as Hollywood shied away from releasing anything significant not just this weekend but also over the previous two weekends. When Black Panther opened in 2018, there was no counterprogramming that opened the same weekend, but Peter Rabbit and Fifty Shades Freed were in their second weekends and took second and third with $17.5 million and $17.3 million respectively. That weekend had an overall cume of $287 million compared to $208 million this weekend Take away the $22 million gap between the two Black Panther films and there's still a $57 million gap between the two weekends. The difference may not feel that large when a mega blockbuster is propping up the grosses,but the contrast is harsher when the mid-level films are the entire box office as we saw in recent months.
Fast X, which is the biggest grosser of the rough post-summer, pre-Fast X season, came in second with just $8.6 million. Despite the blockbuster competition that arrived in its fourth weekend, the numbers didn't totally collapse, dropping 53 % for a cume of $151 million. Worldwide it is at $352 million, which isn't a great cume as the grosses start to wind down considering its $200 million budget. Still, it's the biggest of any film since Fast X, though Fast X will overtake it any day now.
Fast X came in third place in its fourth weekend, down 29% with $6.1 million, emerging as one of the season's most durable grossers and one of the year's few bright spots when it comes to films for adults. The domestic cume is $56.5 million Fourth place went to Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, which had a negligible drop of 5% for a $3.2 million sixth weekend and $40.8 million cume., in fact )
, which isn't surprising considering it's the only family film on the market, and it's Fast X to grossing four times its $11.4 million opening. Still, the $72.6 million worldwide cume is soft given the $50 million budget , though a number of international markets have yet to open.
Finishing up the top five is Fast X, which had its biggest weekend drop yet, falling 42% for a $2.3 million seventh weekend. Of course, that's no reason to frown for the horror film, which has a domestic cume of $103 million and global cume of $ 210 million from a budget of just $20 million.

Can I Stream Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse?
You can’t stream Lightyear yet — but you’ll be able to soon. As a Disney movie, you can expect Lightyear to drop on their streaming service, Disney Plus, in the coming weeks, but the exact date of when that might happen hasn’t been announced yet.

Generally, with their cinematic releases, Disney and Pixar tend to follow either a 30-day release window or a 45-day release window. We don’t know which one they’re going with yet for Lightyear, but this means that given the movie’s global release date is June 17, we can expect Lightyear to be on Disney Plus sometime between July 21 and August 3, 2022.

What is this about? What do I do?

The Violin Jam is a regularly maintained initiative that is about sharing your violin playing. Every 6 weeks, there will be a new theme and a list of music somewhat related to that theme. Your role: Play, share, mingle, and have fun!
The rules are casual: Multiple submissions? Welcome. Partial submission? Absolutely. Another version/arrangement of a jam piece? Why not!
You can always revisit previous eligible Jams and post your performances of past Jam material.
Don’t forget to put the exclusive, mighty, and prestigious "Official Violin Jam" flair on your submissions!
If you would like to suggest pieces for future jams, comment below. For a suggestion to be eligible for a particular Jam, it needs to be made on the theme results post at least one week before the new Jam is scheduled to post.

I started a non-profit. The intent is to teach people how to code. Have online lectures, but now doing in-person lessons. I put the event on eventbrite but haven't had any signup or even page views. The event is free to attend and is two hours long.

Update: This blew up and all seats are taken. I will see if I can schedule a few more. My issue is the rooms cost like $30/hour at The Genesis. If someone knows of a place I can do for cheapefree, DM me please. I do not mind driving around.
Why I am doing this: I already am involved in number of charities. I saw on Kijiji people charge $50/hour. And in current difficult times, it's hard to afford that type of price. It's also a field that is growing in popularity. And although there are many tutorials available online, in-person is always different, and allows people to network who are at the similar level. So just doing it to give back to the community. I already have a remote job in the US, so money isn't an issue.
Also, this won't get you a 100k job. The goal is the session is to act as an introduction. I have been in the field for years, but I still have to google at times. It's more about making it a fun introduction and learn the basics.
My eventual goal is to host longer sessions where people can build their portfolio by: We design a program to use APIs and download data Upload data into SQL Do data visualization and publish on linkedin
