For the last like 2-3 months sex has been painful, it’s not every time but it’s pretty frequent now and it’s concerning I noticed it started happening shortly after my HSG. It’s hard to describe the pain but it’s like a sharp pain from my cervix to my pelvic area each stroke feels like someone’s taking a knife and poking me with it, hurts so bad that I have to stop and take a breather in between or I have to constantly reposition myself so it doesn’t hurt as bad. This may be TMI, but my boyfriend is on the larger side…but it has never been a problem. It’s concerning and ofc google doesn’t help at all. I have an appointment with my OB next week but I’m just so impatient I’d like some input from others who have experienced the same thing, was there a diagnosis you got? Im aware y’all aren’t doctors but any ideas on what it could possibly be? Ofc the only way to know for sure is when I go see my OB but until then I’d like some input from others in the same shoes, or were in the same shoes

Looking foopen to advice. So when I was like 12-17ish, I changed my label a lot. I definitely experienced gender dysphoria, but it was a really big scary feeling and I didn’t know what to call it. I tried to come out in school and to my parents but I didn’t really have a supportive environment. I also was going through this really weird, toxic, self-hating “rad fem” phase where I ingested a lot of terf content on tumblr and thought men were the enemy (I know better now and I feel TERRIBLE, I’m 22). This led to me going through a phase when I was like 14 of changing my gendesexuality label every freaking week and being really confused and annoying. For the rest of high school, I identified as a lesbian even though that wasn’t who I was because I thought me wanting to be born male was just me hating myself for liking girls. Then, I went to college. I came out as non-binary and bisexual and stuck with that label for like 3 years. I tried to get people to use they/them pronouns for me but no one took me seriously, so I went through this weird “I’m non binary in the way that Miley Cyrus is, use any pronouns,” phase. I presented pretty femme and worked in the sex industry at this point, so most people called me she which sucked. Anyway as I got older, the dysphoria got WAY worse and I just started to feel like a man in drag all the time. So, I went on hormones and exclusively used they/them. This solved a lot of problems and alleviated a lot of dysphoria for me, but I faced some rejection and had to leave the sex industry pretty early on. I don’t regret going on hormones at all. The longer I was on them the more I loved all the changes. I am currently in the process of booking a consult for top surgery. Anyway, obviously with the amount of time I’ve been on T, I’ve started to get read as a dude in public and I LOVE it. But it’s weird cause I’m starting to think maybe I’m not non binary and I’m just a dude? And like I wanna be open about it but 1. I’m moving and going back to school soon and the idea of being stealth gets more and more appealing and 2. I feel like I changed my label too much when I was a kid and I would just confuse ppl if I said I was FTM? Anyway lmk your thoughts cause the longer I’m on hormones the more shit starts to make sense.

Out of town in one satellite towns of Chennai, I took my Razorock Super Slant OC L2++ on it's maiden voyage to cut down 2 days of hard stubble.
My travel kit had a Razorock Super Slant L3 SB and the L2++ and the Razorock DC razor. For the first time, I replaced my Rockwell 6S razor with these razors. The DC was a fallback in case the Super Slants proved a bit too much.
I also carried winner blades instead of the usual Rockwell blades.
The other usuals in travel kit - tabac shave stick and a no name brand Chinese small synthetic shave brush, I got off Aliexpress in a 6 pack for 10 dollars some years back.
I put in a winner blade on the top cap and put the L2++ OC plate. Pressing down the plate to tighten the blade with the fingers did nothing. So I screwed on the handle and started to tighten it. The blade torqued bit by bit but didn't buckle and made a few noises as it torqued.
Had a hot shower with some real hard water, good prep for the shave.
Lathered up Tabac, and now moment of truth.
Being a unique geometry, it was going to take time to figure out the angle of attack.
First few strokes and the stubble was taken down ruthlessly and effortlessly. I was still in the angle finding mode, the first strokes shallow, some steep. Steep was most efficient.
Ultimately smooth razor with minimal blade feel, zero.blade chatter.
I took a 3 pass shave as there was substantial stubble. 3 passes of ultra slick tabac and the shave was done. The most efficient angle is steep.
Skin felt soft and smooth post shave. Applied the tabac shave balm, tabac Deo stick and the tabac Deo once dressed.
Amazing shave, but I felt that I need the higher OC plate. I'll pick up maybe the L3 + series plates.
Tomorrow I'll try the L3 SB, but I have a gut feel, I'll need an L4 plate !!

Around February/March 2018, I placed an order for a "Regent Bowie" and a 14" Mutiny. The Bowie was not a standard offering yet, and my order was based off of another Bowie that Kailash previously made to experiment with 'S' guards. So mine is probably "Regent Bowie No.2". To me, this knife is more weapon than tool. It will never out perform my Crowell Barker in a utility setting, but it has the perfect weight and balance for a fighting knife. The sheath is really well made. I did cut out the leather covering the 'S' guard as it was very annoying. I like the more refined sheath that comes with these knives today. I also had to grind the exposed tang on it's handle as the horn shrunk.
IMO the Mutiny is the most handsome Khukuri in Kailash's offerings. The length to weight ratio is very nice for a blade of this size. I've never had the need to, but I feel like I could swing this all day and never tire. Also, amongst the 20+ Khukuris I've owned at some point, this Mutiny scabbard fits the best. Never had to adjust anything. It's leather (for a standard type/not Ganjawal) is of a much higher quality than other Khukuri houses that I own.
As you can probably tell, I haven't used either of them extensively as to me, they're just too pretty for that. Also, living in an apartment in the middle of big city doesn't allow much opportunities to arise either.
P.S. Back then, Kailash used to laser engrave their logos. Personally, I prefer this, as it looks very clean and uniform across all products. However, I also understand the charm of a (almost) completely handmade product.

He used to put in a lot of effort but 2 months have passed and he treats me more like a friend. I’ve confronted him about this multiple times and he says he will change but he doesn’t. What do I do?

I (18F) have been “dating” my bf(18M) for about 1 month now and I am completely confused.
At the beginning of my final year in high school I had a crush on 2 guys. Worst of all, they were best friends. I had no intention of pursuing either of them as I wasn’t looking for a relationship. However as some time passed my feelings grew more and more. One guy, Taylor, I had a huge crush on, but he has never been in a relationship before and has never had a proper crush on a girl before. Taylor and I always clicked; we loved talking about anything and everything and would play games like backgammon together. I always had a hint of him liking me back but completely dismissed it considering his “picky” nature when it came to the girls he liked. I forced myself to move past him and ignore my feelings.
The other guy, Alex, I had helped get over a heartbreak with his ex over the summer and we got closer. We never talked about much other than relationships. We both wanted a significant other and at some point it seemed kind of inevitable that something would happen. He was definitely flirting with me and his friends would hint at it too. I really liked him but we didn’t have much in common. One night we kissed, and afterwards he suddenly asked me if he could call me his girlfriend. I hadn’t even expected it and I felt pressured in the moment so I stupidly said yes.
The relationship moved fast. 2 weeks into dating and he introduced me formally as his girlfriend to his ENTIRE family. I’m talking parents, grandparents, aunts, childhood best friends and the pressure to stay kept piling on and on.
He kept asking if I had told my parents and I hadn’t as it was too soon, but it bothered him and I buckled and introduced him to my parents as well. Within a months time not only had I met his entire family, but he had met mine and everyone at school kept saying we were destined to get married.
I wasn’t happy. I felt pressured to stay and so I did, and I tried to make the relationship work. we had absolutely nothing in common. We had nothing to talk about and all we ever did was couples stuff such as holding hands, cuddling and having sex. It was during this time that my feelings for his best friend, Taylor, began growing deeper. The guilt accompanied by this was agonising and i felt like the biggest asshole.
Eventually, 6 months in, I couldn’t take it and ended the relationship. He didn’t take it well and I helped him though the breakup, consoling him, staying up late into the night calling him if he wasn’t feeling well. soon his friends told me I need to put distance as without it he would never move on. So I did exactly that.
I had this huge relief and felt like a pressure had been taken off my back. But my feelings for his best friend, Taylor, had grown so much over the past months that I was practically drowning in them. I had never felt this way about someone before and was the most lovesick I had ever been in my life. I neglected the feelings as I couldn’t do that to Alex.
One day however, I was studying for an exam with Taylor and he told me he had liked me and asked if I felt the same way. I told him I did.
We then talked for hours about this and came to the realisation that we had both liked each other at the beginning of the year and both of us dismissed our feelings but they only grew over the months. We talked and it felt like a relief to have my feelings out there. We didn’t pursue anything as we it was too late considering the situation with Alex and the fact that we were leaving for uni soon.
A week later Taylor told me he couldn’t take it anymore. It was obvious we liked each other and he said he couldn’t lie to Alex’s face anymore as Alex had been asking Taylor if he liked me. He asked if it was ok for him to tell Alex and as I didn’t want Alex to know, I told him it was ok with me.
When Alex found out he felt betrayed and was calling me a whore and I didn’t know how to respond. Alex and Taylor had fallen out and The guilt was killing me. Alex left school a week earlier and a whole drama escalated as Alex talked with other people at school. I was labelled a whore and the rumours about me were insane.
I never felt so shit in my life in the week that followed. But Taylor was there for me through it all. We both got really close and would stay up late into the night, talking about anything and everything. Some days, he would even wake up early in the morning and be at my house at 4am. We would sit outside, cuddling and talking until 7:00 when we had to leave for school. He would say I looked like summer and he even kept a Polaroid picture of us in his wallet. I told him I wasn’t ready to rush into anything and he said he was more than ready to respect my space. We weren’t officially together but we were essentially a thing.
A week later that he said had been in love with me for the most part of the year. He said he could wait for me as long as I needed, and that he wanted to give us a shot.
we had a one month holiday from school where we couldn’t see each other. In the beginning we would text and call. But later he seemed cold. I would reach out but his messages were dry.
At school he had really gotten cold too.He stopped texting and reaching out, he stopped showing affection in public and I felt confused. I talked to him about it and he apologised and said he hadn’t realised and said things would change. For 2 days he would be active and then he would go back to being cold again. Weeks passed and I had reached out to him multiple times. Each time the same pattern. We talk, he says he didn’t realise, he changes for 2 days, and then goes back to being cold.
In the weeks that followed I had never felt more unwanted in my life. Taylor had made up with Alex and they were back to being friends again but Alex still hated my guts. My friends had different opinions on it. One said that Taylor cared for me and that he simply didn’t know how to act in a relationship. Some of my friends didn’t like the way he treated me and told me I deserved better.
We’ve graduated from high school and I’ve never been more confused He never really opens up to me, and it’s a constant on and off. 90% of the time he’s cold. And only in the 10% does he show affection and care. I’m back home now with my parents and for the past week it has only been me who is reaching out, and when I do he replies 12-24 hours later. He is known to be a shitty texter but I feel like this is more than that.
I care about him so much and everyone keeps telling me that he does too but I don’t know what to do at this point. I feel so unwanted and unloved and I can’t take it anymore but at the same point he means so much to me that I’m not willing to let it go. I’ve already told him exactly what I’ve written here and he said things would change but they haven’t and I can’t go talk to him about this for the 4th time as I don’t want to be overbearing.

1. Influencers Die; Brands don’t Adapt

Influencer marketing is expected to grow but brands are making same mistakes of hiring trendy influencers that die. They die because they are promoting you on friday and Your competitor the next day.
Making the trust of Influencer die.

2. You are doing creator marketing

Only 14% of creators are influencers. Not every creator will have a huge impact on your orders. That is why I advise to take the principle of 11 Brand touchpoints to your Influencer campaign.
Form long term partnerships with those creators focused on content. They charge less and you can negotiate long-term deals to use 11 Brand Touchpoints framework.

3. Calculate Promotional Engagement

Don’t fall for overall engagement rate. Most creators have their viral moments. Making their average engagement rate look good.
Always ask for engagement rates on their last 3 organic posts and engagement on lasy 3-4 Promotional Posts.
Some creators might delete their old sponsored posts but they might have numbers to share with you. It is a red flag, if they are hesitating to share analytics with you.

4. Great Influencer marketing Influences, The Influencer

You could have a great influencer marketing campaign but that impact dies when campaign is over. Because you influenced some of the consumers to buy.
But not influenced other influencers to talk about your product organically. The brands spending millions on Influencers are trying to acheive that.
This requires heavy budget or you need to growth hack your way into leading a creative growth strategy.

5. Overvaluing or Undervaluing Influencers

The biggest issue with influencer marketing for agencies and brands is comparing costs to Paid media.
Many creators are uneducated about charging their worth and same goes for Brands. This is something parts need to work on.
What I advise is like you network at entrepreneurship events. Try to network with Influencers first by hanging out at online spaces where they exist. Or share the messaging behind you reaching out.
Truth is worth more than promising them future partnerships.

6. The Fake Agency Model

Going back to roots of Influencer marketing. As Youtube kicked off the big level influencer marketing, the agency model was this:
You cold outreach the brand and pitch them idea of using influencer marketing. And lie about having a network of creators to boost your brand. In reality, you don’t have direct relation with those influencers.
And you do the same thing with Influencers. Pitching them a list of Brands under your belt.
This model is now getting exposed. Creators are brands are connecting with each other.
Only few are standing out, By either focusing on influencers or marketing data. And important for all is building healthy relations with influencers
A good examples are RAD AI using Data and Jellysmack funding their own creators.

7. Doing Social Listening to prevent Budlight

Yes, you have a new brand messaging campaign going forward. And Influencers are the new hype.
Your content does not impact only followers of an influencer. That content is distributed by users and algorithms to everywhere.
Making the importance of Social listening significant. Listen to audience interests of your existing audience on reddit, twitter and community forums.
Before you deploy your Creative influencer strategy.

8. AI, Influencers and UGC

There is a huge disruption in this space now. Because Meta & Tiktok are increasing their Ad targeting capabilities with AI and helping paid media agencies.

1. Influencers Die; Brands don’t Adapt

Influencer marketing is expected to grow but brands are making same mistakes of hiring trendy influencers that die. They die because they are promoting you on friday and Your competitor the next day.
Making the trust of Influencer die.

2. You are doing creator marketing

Only 14% of creators are influencers. Not every creator will have a huge impact on your orders. That is why I advise to take the principle of 11 Brand touchpoints to your Influencer campaign.
Form long term partnerships with those creators focused on content. They charge less and you can negotiate long-term deals to use 11 Brand Touchpoints framework.

3. Calculate Promotional Engagement

Don’t fall for overall engagement rate. Most creators have their viral moments. Making their average engagement rate look good.
Always ask for engagement rates on their last 3 organic posts and engagement on lasy 3-4 Promotional Posts.
Some creators might delete their old sponsored posts but they might have numbers to share with you. It is a red flag, if they are hesitating to share analytics with you.

4. Great Influencer marketing Influences, The Influencer

You could have a great influencer marketing campaign but that impact dies when campaign is over. Because you influenced some of the consumers to buy.
But not influenced other influencers to talk about your product organically. The brands spending millions on Influencers are trying to acheive that.
This requires heavy budget or you need to growth hack your way into leading a creative growth strategy.

5. Overvaluing or Undervaluing Influencers

The biggest issue with influencer marketing for agencies and brands is comparing costs to Paid media.
Many creators are uneducated about charging their worth and same goes for Brands. This is something parts need to work on.
What I advise is like you network at entrepreneurship events. Try to network with Influencers first by hanging out at online spaces where they exist. Or share the messaging behind you reaching out.
Truth is worth more than promising them future partnerships.

6. The Fake Agency Model

Going back to roots of Influencer marketing. As Youtube kicked off the big level influencer marketing, the agency model was this:
You cold outreach the brand and pitch them idea of using influencer marketing. And lie about having a network of creators to boost your brand. In reality, you don’t have direct relation with those influencers.
And you do the same thing with Influencers. Pitching them a list of Brands under your belt.
This model is now getting exposed. Creators are brands are connecting with each other.
Only few are standing out, By either focusing on influencers or marketing data. And important for all is building healthy relations with influencers
A good examples are RAD AI using Data and Jellysmack funding their own creators.

7. Doing Social Listening to prevent Budlight

Yes, you have a new brand messaging campaign going forward. And Influencers are the new hype.
Your content does not impact only followers of an influencer. That content is distributed by users and algorithms to everywhere.
Making the importance of Social listening significant. Listen to audience interests of your existing audience on reddit, twitter and community forums.
Before you deploy your Creative influencer strategy.

There is a huge disruption in this space now. Because Meta & Tiktok are increasing their Ad targeting capabilities with AI and helping paid media agencies.

THE INDIAN PLUME

Brightest flower that grows beside the brooks is the scarlet blossom of the Indian plume: the blood of Lenawee.
Hundreds of years ago she lived happily among her brother and sister Saranacs beside Stony Creek, the Stream of the Snake, and was soon to marry the comely youth who, for the speed of his foot, was called the Arrow.
But one summer the Quick Death came on the people, and as the viewless devil stalked through the village young and old fell before him.
The Arrow was the first to die.
In vain the Prophet smoked the Great Calumet: its smoke ascending took no shape that he could read.
In vain was the white dog killed to take aloft the people's sins.
But at last the Great Spirit himself came down to the mountain called the Storm Darer, splendid in lightning, awful in his thunder voice and robe of cloud.
“My wrath is against you for your sins,” he cried, “and naught but human blood will appease it.”
In the morning the Prophet told his message, and all sat silent for a time.
Then Lenawee entered the circle. “Lenawee is a blighted flower,” she sobbed.
“Let her blood flow for her people.”
And catching a knife from the Prophet's belt, she ran with it to the stream on which she and
the Arrow had so often floated in their canoe.
In another moment her blood had bedewed the earth.
“Lay me with the Arrow,” she murmured, and, smiling in their sad faces, breathed her last. The demon of the quick death shrank from the spot, and the Great Spirit smiled once more on the tribe that could produce such heroism.
Lenawee's body was placed beside her lover's, and next morning, where her blood had spilt, the ground was pure, and on it grew in slender spires a new flower,the Indian plume:
the transformed blood of sacrifice.
The people loved that flower in all years after.
They decked their hair and dresses with it and made a feast in its honor.
When parents taught their children the beauty of unselfishness they used as its emblem a stalk of Indian plume.
