So Wandering Earth seems to have 3 main plots, the Scientist guy with the dead daughter who's mind has been uploaded into a computer, the main plot of basically dealing with the mirad of disasters and terrorism that are inflicted on the Moving Mountains/Wandering Earth project but there seems to be a third plot surrounding the AI/Quantum Computer MOSS and seemingly future events that haven't occured yet?
Is it just implying all the events in Wandering Earth and Wandering Earth II are planned out by MOSS and it's MOSS essentially putting all these disasters in motion to test Humanity? Why would MOSS then send through the solutions? Like the message to all the world leaders phones? There is also a line that first warnings came through in the 1980s? How did MOSS do that, would MOSS have even existed in the 1980s? I thought it was a brand new Quantum Computer? Also then, MOSS shows an image of an old man with no context?
What's also the deal with the Scientist trapped in the computer? It's not exactly clear why MOSS wants him there? It's a long movie so obviously I missed some stuff. What was going on with this third plot? I seemed to have missed key plot points to do with it.

I (21f) started using weed again after a year of being off of it because it gets me too in my head. I was cleaning my room one day and found my pen under my bed, so I decided to take a tiny puff. It gave me so much more motivation to go on about my day and I ended up cleaning more than just my room.
I have been in a depressive rut for 4 weeks now, even stopped going to the gym completely. I’ve been using my pen here and there and it has helped me significantly. I’m usually a very angry person due to my depression I’m guessing. Taking a little hit from my pen helps me quiet the nasty thoughts in my head. It also helps me get that energy boost I need to get up in the mornings to start my day. I don’t smoke to get high unless I’m done with my day and am in my bed ready to watch a show/movie to sleep. And I only smoke during the day just enough to help all the noise in my head. It has also helped me push myself to return to the gym yesterday for the first time in a while. Should I stop using? I’d like to hear everyone’s opinion on whether my situation here is somewhat of a warning sign that I’ll develop dependency/addiction to this.

I am using Topaz Video AI. I am trying to upscale old TV shows and having some issues with shows having pretty crazy things going on.

Golden Girls is one of those shows that only has a 480 source due to the way NBC taped their shows back then. The AI seems to try and fix the blurriness of people far away from the camera and it looks terrible.
Preset I'm using is "Upscale to HD resolution" with everything at default. I'm not having luck changing anything to make it look better. AI model is Proteus. Any of the others don't really appear to make the picture look any better.
Is there just no way to make this stuff look good? What settings can I look into? Does another program work better?

Not covering Writing and Directing right now since those submissions are still too up in the air. Mostly keeping things safe with a few reaches and trying to be wary of one show dominating a category given the return of the limited ballot.

2x Asus Et12 mesh routers with wired backhaul. All QoS and network monitoring type stuff is off.
Synology DS220+ with 8TB Ironwolf drives connected to router through gigabit 5 port switch
Dell XPS13, windows 11 connected to node 5ghz, Asus app shows laptop has a connection speed of 1100mbps
Router only has two 2.5g ports, one used for internet and the other for backhaul. Switch is connected to gig port.
Transferring large files to the Nas takes ages, speeds between 2-8 MB/s. Is the switch my bottleneck? The only other items on the switch are a Hue hub and home assistant instance, they shouldn't be that busy, but it's the only thing I can think of. FWIW I can stream 4k truehd movies from the Nas in the office to the living room TV, but transferring from the laptop to the Nas is so slow. I considered getting a 2.5g unmanaged switch but there's nowhere to put it, it would be connected to a 1g port anyway. I'm not savvy enough to know if I can run the backhaul through a switch along with all the other stuff I need to connect (Nas, HA etc).

Can we please get the alphabetizing of items fixed across the board. It has been years since the fixed how to alphabetize for games but it was never fixed for movies and tv. It takes too long to find a movie when sometimes it includes “the” in the title alphabetically and sometimes it does not. This inclusions changes by the day. I can find movies from the same series that includes “the” in the title but the movies are in different spots. Karate Kid is in two spots. Some include “the” in the title and others do not. Same thing happens in every other series in the app.
This is something that should have been fixed at the same time as the game library change. It has been years since that change and it should be implemented across the system in everything.

If you haven't seen my last post, basically, I was thinking that we could create an online movement based on the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie in which much of the plot revolves around the horrible conditions that so many animals are put in on a daily basis, and the fact that they all aspire to one day live under the blue sky. You can check the previous post for more details, but the idea is that 'They all deserve 'Sky'. i am really sorry I have not been super active on this platform, but I think if we want to launch this idea we have to do it as fast as possible, however the hope is that it outlasts just this movie. Thus, we need:
-A social media platform: I can create this and try to start posting. It will be called 'theyalldeservesky'.
-A profile picture that we and all vegans and animal activists around the world can brandish without shame. It should probably be a picture or drawing of the sky if anyone has a good one.
-Content that I can post on this page and that you all can put on your stories. I can handle for the most part, but if anyone has any videos, images, or facts which highlight the conditions they live in and the horrible cruelty they face, please please send them to me.
-Hashtags to use. I can mostly do this, with things such as #whereistheirsky, but any ideas would be appreciated.
Most importantly though, we need to get this content seen. We need to reach all the people on vegan so we can start to use our large numbers on this platform to promote the idea. Further, we need to try to blow up the account on Instagram so that it gets seen as much as possible. In the beginning, any publicity is good publicity.
My true goal here is to raise awareness. I believe that the average person would not eat meat if they were aware of the injustices that their actions pay for and support. We can show them through this movement and bring it to light.

Fred has just gotten drafted into the war, and after running into his second cousin Shaggy, he learns of what happened over there and what awaits when he returns, Fred then decides to dodge his draft.
Daphne is Fred's fiancé and decides to go with him.
Velma is a childhood friend of Daphne, though they haven't spoken in some time. She is also an anti-war protestor.
Scooby is Shaggy's dog, a stray he rescued.
Each member of Mystery Inc brings individual skills.
Shaggy is an engineer and mechanic.
Fred was trained in psychology and psychiatry. His family are politicians.
Daphne's father is a police captain, and her family are business people. Therefore, she is good with diplomacy and talking to people.
Velma's mother is a nurse, and her father is a teacher, so she is knowledgeable on academic topics and medical stuff.
Episode 1: An introduction to all the characters and their backstories.
Episode 2: The gang has to solve the kidnapping ransom of the Sheriffs daughter. The episode ends with them saving the day by using a trap Fred suggested, Shaggy made it.
Episode 3: A local man dresses up as bigfoot and murders people for reasons relating to land. This is Fred's time to shine. He realises something is wrong with the guy who turns out to be the killer. And he talks him down from killing a deputy.
Episode 4: A series of mysterious bank robberies shake up a small town, and the gang tries to solve it. Daphne uses diplomacy to get them to give up the hostages.
Episode 5: A group of criminals led by a cult leader kidnap dogs for dog fighting. As well as selling drugs in the neighbourhood. Velma saves a man from overdosing and then gives him hope to keep fighting with a quote from history. She also patches up shaggy after he is stabbed in the shoulder.
Episode 6: The gangs van breaks down on the way to another town, and they are forced to take refuge in an abandoned fun fair. Where they are forced to try and fight an insane clown who kidnaps and eats any travellers who stop at or near his hunting grounds. Fred realises the Clowns patterns, Shaggy sets up a trap, and Scooby attacks the cannibal clown once he is in position.
Episode 7: The gang is called to solve the disappearance of a wealthy elderly lady. Scooby tracks. Shaggy fixes a radio. Fred looks at the mindset behind the disappearance. Daphne talks to the family, and Velma helps out where needed.

Hello, I seen thread that is similar to somebody that posted it couple years ago but a little bit different.
I have three kids but never heard it from my first that is older than my second one. I'm kind of curious because as a kid I had similar acts of seeing things as my mother said to me.
My son doesnt really watch TV where he can see any wolf he watch paw patrol, Blipi, Bing... So it's not possible He is almost 3 y.o he can't fully speak but he says that wolf is lyingsleeping in front of door, and to close doors, when I ask about color he says that wolf is Black and sometimes he says it's dark. He is sleeping with me now because he doesnt want to sleep in his bed I always show him that there is really nothing, turning on light, he watch around a little bit scared and never want to go first. He never was like that. I dont make anything big from it but i'm curious what it can be and I feel like this wolf is not anything evil.
I live in Poland and I'm sorry for my terrible English, please give me opinions on that.

THEY SHOWED SPIDER-MAN 2 GAMEPLAY IN ACROSS THE SPIDERVERSE BRO. Really near the start of the movie there’s 2 scenes where miles passes through his dorm and we see ganke playing on the ps5 and it’s not very clear in the first shot but the second shot he’s playing Spider-Man 2 bro. Basically what’s happening in the gameplay is just Spider-Man on a rooftop fighting enemy’s but we see him do like some cool attacks with these white iron spider arms like one I remember is them reaching forward to grab an enemy. It’s a really little thing but it’s still so sick

I haven't used kodi in probably at least 5 years. I used to have the exodus add on and it worked like a dream. It was 100%free and it had every movie imaginable.
Since the whole Netflix no password sharing nonsense I figured I'd get Kodi again. But I found out Exodus isn't a thing anymore? I hear Umbrella is what took over but you need a debris subscription. I'm not PAYING to watch low res videos with no subtitles (unless things have changed? Like I said it's been a long time). I found multiple articles saying Crew is a great add-on and while none said that you need a debris account for it to work, for every single movie/episode I tried to watch I got a "no streams" message.
Any suggestions?

So i feel like i have gotten more social and extroverted lately and i always feel like i wanna talk to someone or spend time with someone, obviously i enjoy being alone but not as much as used to! so here i am actually trying to make some friends!

personality wise i would say that i'm ambivert since i enjoy being alone occasionally but i also like being social! i'm bit shy and i don't think that's a bad thing :) i'm really caring, kind, sarcastic. People who knows me knows that i have huge heart, i'm passionate about animals.
I'm that type of person that usually gets along with everyone and doesn't get mad easily but if you are that type of person who makes jokes about everything and can't take anything seriously, i'll probably get annoyed by you :D just a heads up
