2023.03.22 06:21 ChairBedsUK123 Maximizing Your Space: The Benefits of a Double Sofa Bed
| If you live in a small space, you're likely always on the lookout for ways to maximize your living area. One excellent solution is a double sofa bed. Not only does it provide a comfortable seating area during the day, but it can also transform into a cozy bed at night. Here's how a double sofa bed can help you maximize your space and enjoy the benefits of both a sofa and a bed. Double Sofa Bed from Chair Beds UK - Space-saving solution
One of the biggest benefits of a double sofa bed is that it's a space-saving solution. Unlike a traditional bed, a double sofa bed takes up very little space in your room. During the day, it functions as a comfortable sofa, and at night, it can easily transform into a bed. - Multi-functional furniture
A double sofa bed is a multi-functional piece of furniture that serves two purposes in one. It's an excellent option for those who don't have a dedicated guest room but still want to provide a comfortable sleeping option for their guests. Double Sofa Bed is also a great option for those who want to make the most out of a small living area. - Comfortable sleeping area
A double sofa bed can provide a comfortable sleeping area for both you and your guests. Many double sofa beds come with high-quality mattresses that provide support and comfort for a good night's sleep. - Affordable
A double sofa bed is also an affordable option when compared to a traditional bed or even a futon sofa bed. If you're on a budget or looking to save money, a double sofa bed can be a cost-effective solution that still provides comfort and convenience. - Easy to use
A double sofa bed is incredibly easy to use. You can easily transform it from a sofa into a bed in just a few seconds, making it a convenient option for those who don't want to spend a lot of time setting up their sleeping area. Now, let's relate the benefits of a double sofa bed to a double futon sofa bed. While a double futon sofa bed is another space-saving solution, it's slightly different from a double sofa bed. A futon is typically made up of a mattress that can be folded in half and used as a sofa during the day. One benefit of a double futon sofa bed is that it's easy to fold and store when not in use. However, the folding mechanism can sometimes make it less comfortable than a double sofa bed. Additionally, a double futon sofa bed may not provide as much support as a traditional mattress or even a double sofa bed. In conclusion, a double sofa bed is an excellent way to maximize your space and enjoy the benefits of both a sofa and a bed. It's a space-saving solution that provides a comfortable sleeping area for you and your guests. While a Double Futon Sofa Bed is another option for those looking to save space, a double sofa bed is generally more comfortable and provides better support. Ultimately, the choice between a double sofa bed and a double futon sofa bed will depend on your individual needs and the space available in your home. submitted by ChairBedsUK123 to u/ChairBedsUK123 [link] [comments] |
2023.03.22 06:15 Erzeal Advice needed for transporting my rig.
My computer, that was built for me in early 2021, has had its power supply fail. I know nothing about hardware, as I have always been a software person, so I need to take it to the person who built it for me.
Unfortunately for me, she no longer lives near by, and has moved to the next state over, which is 6 hours from me. She’ll gladly fix my problem, but I have to get it to her, because she’s very busy and doesn’t have time to come here right now.
The problem is I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment building, and can’t think of a way to get it down the stairs (which are steep, and concrete, leading down to more concrete) that doesn’t terrify me. This is only my second gaming computer ever. The last one I got was an Alienware that my dad bought me in 2001. I’d been stuck with laptops before I got the one I have now. If anything happens to this I won’t be able to get a new one for years, as I’m mostly disabled (Not old [39], nor a veteran or anything. Just really shitty medical problems), and don’t make very much money at all (Took years to save up for the parts).
I can physically get it down the stairs, but I need a way to hold the railing, and the computer at the same time. Its pretty big (At least to me), as it’s just slightly over 17 inches tall, and almost 16 and half inches long.
I could try to wait for her to have time to come here, but outside of my games, I don’t really have much to occupy myself with. It’s been sitting in my computer room for almost 3 weeks because I’m kinda paralysed with fear over damaging it.
Hoping for any suggestions, and thank you for your time!

2023.03.22 06:14 Affectionate-Cup5202 How find tax advisor/consultant/preparing?
What's the best way to find all in one wealth management/tax advisor and preparer service?
Ideally, I would like a firm that does wealth management, tax advise and also tax filling, but it seems like these jobs are almost always handled separately. I'll get calls from banks saying they can help manage money for me and I'll ask them if they'll also do my taxes and inevitably, they say no, you have to hire an accountant for that. But why? They can tell me how to save money on taxes but not actually file the taxes? That seems like complimentary work. Why can't I have a service that I can just send my paperwork to throughout the year and get advised on all fronts. And if those exist, where can I find them?

2023.03.22 06:09 Commercial_Spite711 Move in with in-laws to save money or stay in our current city
I (25 F) and my husband (25 M) are both finishing up our degrees this may, we have a 2-year-old and I am currently pregnant with our second child. My MIL has offered to let us move in with them after graduation to save up for a house, my MIL lives in another state so we would be moving to a new city with no friends and starting brand new careers. I have gotten job offers near our current city and in MIL city, my husband has yet to receive a job offer which is causing me more anxiety about the current situation. We have the option to stay near our current area where we have friends and my side of the family. Staying around our current area would mean we wouldn't be able to save much with the current housing market but would be less of an adjustment to a new area without a support system. My husband is indifferent about the move and is focused on the monetary aspect of things but has also said he wouldn't mind staying in our current area. Looking for advice from those who have been in a similar situation or have some words of wisdom, thanks for reading.

2023.03.22 06:09 acebossrhino I'm Incredibly Rusty, And Need To Vent
I'm 32 years old and just need to vent a bit. And am even wondering if this should be on
I've started talking to someone online. And have been for about 5 days now. They're definitely interesting and I am attracted to them. But I feel I'm struggling to build chemistry and a connection. And I am worried.
Some mistakes I've made:
1) Front loading a lot of supportive / kinda-lovey stuff. I don't really know how to explain it without sharing some of the things said. But a friend of mine said I front loaded a lot in the first couple of days.
2) Talking to much. I just... I'm working on this one. But I am slightly introverted an fall into a bad habit of talking about the things I'm passionate about.
3) And am unsure of my responses at times. We've talked a lot about our future dreams and goals. She's even brought up starting her own business and franchise. As well as a lot of personal stuff. But... IDK it feels like I'm struggling to build attraction or any common ground over text messages.
And yet none of these are deal breakers for me. If anything it makes her more interesting. There are some things that will be challenging.
1) If this became serious it would be a long distance relationship. She lives in the center of the U.S. near the Mississippi
2) She's 1 years older than me. Not an issue, I honestly don't mind.
3) She makes a lot more money than I do. A 'LOT'.
Where I'm struggling with myself:
1) I'm a contract worker. Admittedly it's with a descent company. But I don't have some of the luxuries my contemporaries have
2) I'm out of shape. But working on it. Running helps a lot.
3) I'm insecure about my responses. I've been out of the game and am out of practice. And have not been dating, etc. since before the pandemic.
4) My savings account is pathetic :( And this is something I've long since regretted. I have RothIRA and a small amount of savings. And that's about it (couple thousand). This has been a source of insecurity for me
5) I haven't dated much. A bad combination of an introverted nature, a few bad experiences, and (ironically) putting work before a social life.
I guess.... there's a lot of unknowns. And I am definitely feeling a lot of rust and a lot of inexperience. Life has been somewhat kind to me, and allowed me to be complacent. Talking to her however has reminded me why complacency is a killer. And it has reinvigorated me to pursue some of my passions... is that fair to say?
I would say the only issue is that I'm trying to have fun, but I am sometimes unsure how to respond to her questions and comments. Hopefully I'll get somewhat competent at this...
At the end of the day I'm frustrated by my complacency. And I'm reminded of the story of the man who waited his entire life for the right one to come along. When they did, he wasn't prepared. I'm not trying to imply they're the right one (we haven't even physically met yet). But that feels like me right now.
Thanks /DATING_ADVICE for letting me vent.
Edit: Apologize in advanced if this doesn't meet rule 6. Not trying for self pity, just trying to vent and clear my head a bit. This whole situation is a bit of an upside down for me.

2023.03.22 06:08 foxxyfafalove99 What major would have worked for her
My mother is 50yrs old as of August 4th. She is still conventionally attractive (well, I suppose some would say she is average since she is overweight and also honestly bc we’re black) with enough makeup but doesn’t wear makeup around the house anymore like she used to (I’ve noticed that ever since the whole my older brother having a mental break+going to rehab she has steadily begun to take worse care of her appearance. She used to wear makeup around the house or look more presentable. I remember her as having been notably nice looking when I was little.)
My brother is in rehab in part due to her and my father’s negligence. I can admittedly have trouble not resenting her these days - she had an abusive childhood herself (sexual abuse, physical abuse from her dad, was put out of the house w her sister when she was 12) but I feel like even though she seemed v healthy when I was a child she has not made serious steps to overcome it. I’d say she’s manipulative and she tends to mostly stay home and watch I guess conspiracy videos against the vaccine (she is rlly anti vaccine and masks. To an annoying extent.)
She is a “housewife” but I would not say she is a good mother (she mentioned she used to “hit” my brother when he was little.) She is very cynical but can also come off kind of bubbly or joke-y (she does have a sense of humor.)
I would not say she has made good life decisions. She never completed college, started her family at 27 but still ended up being a not-so great parent overall, and chose a man who doesn’t make good money, is unintelligent, is not actually terribly attractive… just a myriad of bad decision making.
She can kind of give off the energy of someone who was once above average, like the kind of confidence that someone who was once above average tends to have.
She does not actually take good care of her health and still talks a fair amount abt her childhood.
When she is angry she develops this very intense energy - starts yelling loudly, it’s like her energy quite literally changes? It almost feels abusive in a way idk how to explain it, it’s just a body language thing. You’ll feel threatened by her. But when she is healthy and especially when I was younger she was nothing like that at all. I’ve been surprised as I’ve grown older by how she really is
Before I was born she was apparently trying to be a rapper and met Tupac. She has old photos of it, she was rapping w her sister. Obviously, nothing came of that.
She is anti-abortion now and complains about “whores” even though she had multiple abortions herself when young, and admitted to me once that she used to be promiscuous.
She has talked abt “indoctrination” before and tells me to “do research.” She is like this bc of how my grandpa raised her I guess, she tends to rant abt how he didn’t raise her to be stupid sometimes (in arguments w my father too.) But I don’t think she’s as smart as she likely believes she is anyway. If she were, I don’t think she’d have ended up w a man who makes below average money and without any kind of way to support herself if she and that man divorced.
Her job other than being a housewife that I remember was being a social worker. I remember a few months ago she was talking abt having been a social worker to my dad w great importance (saying they hired her due to her “speaking skills” or something. You could tell she really believed it.)
She smokes marijuana to “destress.”
I get the impression when she talks abt the city she grew up in that she perceives it or thinks of it as being like the same as it was back then, even though it obviously wouldn’t be now? I feel like she made a huge mistake by raising my brother and I in a primarily white and Asian environment, but she seems to deal w internalized racism so that likely has smthn to do w it
She is colorist… sort of? Like I remember she made a comment (not to the girl’s face of course) abt how my former best friend was “dark” and I have gotten the impression that she has made comments abt my older brother’s skin tone in the past (abt him being dark skinned.) Bur said she thought my cousin who is dark skinned was nice looking (the one on my dad’s said of course) even though I’d argue my former best friend was undoubtedly better looking than my cousin.
She is religious and is annoying abt reading the Bible (always tells me to do it even tho I don’t care)! but still walks around the house swearing like there’s no tomorrow.
She mentioned she used to be “crazy” according to others and would start throwing things when upset. She has no money saved up, and we still live in an apartment complex. I find it fair to suggest that she has made awful life decisions.
She is presently still trying to find online work to save up some money for my birthday (I’ll be turning eighteen.) I am astounded by how bad her life decisions have been.
She actually once filmed a video of me in like summer 2022 bc I asked her to (would have been 49 at the time.) She sounds sort of fake yet simultaneously bubbly. We did take pictures after, she was wearing makeup and looked happy but also sort of nervous (they’re on my profile if you want to get a feel for body language.)
In spite of the fact that she likely has undiagnosed mental health issues she does come off more “normal” between my father and herself.

2023.03.22 06:05 ProGoogler4answers It seems kinda boomer-ish to associate the idea of having a job with nuance of 'success' or 'independence'
Ive been outta work for a while, and got made fun of by a girl as she said no girl wants a jobless guy. And that girls have their own jobs now so why should they talk to me?
Which is kind of odd ( as myself having an MS finance, for whatever weight that may carry), because the accounting and math of employment in the US...is far from reflective of efforts, merit, and most of all; is FAR more likely than not, to compensate with wages that are far, far, far below the idea of 'success', or even offer financial independence, let alone appreciable personal savings and goals. Even without that thought, I wouldn't see myself as anything to brag about if I didn't give someone a chance based on their legal employment basis or earnings. And if I did, Id only be fooling myself, because I'd be caught in so many fallacies.
Real world Example: At $12/hour, working full time, as a single person with no dependents, opting for pre-tax deductions of insurances, and then using the adjusted value accordingly to continue on with Federal/State/Local (in my case I dont even have local taxes).
One would net $687/Bi-weekly. That is $1,374/Month. You'd have a hard time finding a place to rent alone, for less than $1000. And that doesnt include utilities.
Okay, so you've managed to somehow pay the deposit , the activation costs of utilities, and I wont even include the costs of moving/furnishing/homecookware etc. You've popped the $1,000, and now have that $374 to spend on showing the world that you ARE succesful and independent! You work full time and work hard! Aha, wait. Even low-balling national median prices for a fraction of your other costs, will exceed this $374 quickly. Cell? $50. Domestic Supplies?( Laundry detergent, hygience/cleaning items) $50. Internet? $50/month...(these are comically low-ball prices btw) Electricity?$80 Food? Ah, well you only have $144 left...From a survival perspective, possible, but you wont feel very good or feel much like yourself. But, what about your car? its insurance? Easily $150-$400/Month. You're already tapped out, exhausted, surviving off rice and beans. But what about your water bill? What about $ to have even a dollar put into a savings account? What about student loans, credit cards, those teeth, your medical co-pays, your Rx costs? Hell, you don't even have $10 if you get a flat tire. You don't even have a few hundred for that rotten tooth in your mouth, to get a root canal and crown.
//////////////
Ok, $12/hour Fulltime scenario is nothing short of a total delusion of financial independence. But, that just means I'm not good enough or smart enough to earn enough! *POOF* WOW! suddenly I am! I make $20/hour. Relative to the rest of the country's wages, this is a rarer wage, and higher than most people's wages in the US.
$20/Hour @ 40-Houweek
$3,200/MONTHLY GROSS WAGES
$38,400/ANNUAL GROSS WAGES
--------------------
Pre-Tax deductions of Health($90/BiWeekly)/Dental($7.5/BiWeekly)/Vision($2.5/BiWeekly)
MONTHLY TOTAL INSURANCES DEDUCTIONS: $200
ANNUAL TOTAL INSURANCES DEDUCTIONS: $2,400
--------------------
MONTHLY TAXABLE WAGES: $3,000
ANNUAL TAXABLE WAGES: $36,000
--------
STATE TAXES: $1,190
FICA: $2,754
FEDERAL: $4,114.38
TOTAL TAXES DUE: $8,058.38
--------
TOTAL WAGES NET ANNUAL: $27,941.62
TOTAL WAGES NET MONTHLY: $2,328.47
TOTAL WAGES NET BI-WEEKLY: $1,164.23
A whopping $2,328.47 for the young stud who earns MORE THAN OVER 2/3 of the nation in wages. Ladies and gentleman give this special little boy a balloon!!
While median rent is reported to be $1,770/Month...Lets have some faith in this earner. But REMEMBER! He is earning a higher wage, its rare for areas with very low rents to commonly feature such jobs. So, lets see to it he still gets a 'good deal' at renting a musty apartment for $1,300/Month. Well, like before, bills come-a-knocking. Utilities of electricity, internet, water rack up to a modest $200. Hes got some basic prepaid service plan for $50, nothing fancy, hes a savy guy. Hes gonna need more than rice and beans to keep up that life of high pay, but still manages to get groceries down to $100/Week. $400/Month. Now, mind you that includes sales tax, so its less than what may come to mind! This guy is not getting a room that cheap in an area where he wouldn't also need a car, lets use some reason here. But hes savy as they come baby. He blew his savings for that $8,000 2003 Corolla. Insurance is pecking at him for $120/month, could be worse. Now, we've reached a point where he now has less than $300 across the month to fulfill: Medical Co-Pays, Auto Maintenance, Gasoline, Any form of eating out/entertainment, All clothing, Furniture, A phone, A computer, Student loans, credit cards, emergency health services, haircuts, and everything else that life demands of us even without a kid.
It would be nothing short of remarkable for this individual who is financially independent to save $10/month. Working 40 hours/week is exhausting too, doesnt leave much time for taking care of things yourself, which can be costly too.
So, $20/hour, at relatively low costs of living, isn't anything sustainable long term. Sure are alot of people on Reddit who claim "I make this and Im independent and Im fine!" Im sure their story of pulling up their bootstraps by themselves and maintaining any dignity of life are more so part of a narrative they hold; rather than real-world finance.
Call it all bullshit if you want. I go by the numbers. Job or no job, you're not in a fairy tale. You're in a loose labor market, where fiduciary duty to shareholders/company agents are law. Not owed to you, but to the investors/company agents. I haven't even touched on the fucked up realm of costs and income when having a kid is involved, a health condition, care taking, or any other situation which can wreck everything. SaaS has been offsetting jobs for a decade, AI is too, and there is not homogeneous opportunity across the US.
Its incredible to me, how unaware so many people are. They can't be bothered to comprehend that the majority of problems for people in the U.S. stem from inequity and lack of money. The mental health implications of having to accommodate the need for money to survive and stay out of prison, and the mental health implications from people who internalize these things as if it was their fault. As if they were born as the problem. As if their emotions and life were wrong and despicable. So much of posts here can be attributed to a lack of resources and the implications of it. Resources are sent to the dumpster en masse, not because they are truly unusable, but solely so that we cannot have it, without handing over enough money. Buried in the earth, just to make damn sure, those people dont get em.
So, before you even *suggest* that someone isn't trying, isn't worthy, doesn't care, because of not having a job, not having their own place, not having their own car, not getting the healthcare they need, not being able to afford participation in things, or even afford being a parent... Remember. You're more than likely, calculably wrong. And promoting the internalization of capitalism and the moral construct of poverty. You would fit right in, with the category of scum in society, what keeps it so horrible, and what holds humanity back.

2023.03.22 06:02 JimsEats I asked Bard (Google's AI) to help me with a comeback for "the ocean called. They're running out of shrimp."
"Here are a few comebacks you could have said back:
- "The Jerk Store called. They're running out of you."
- "Your mom called. She wants her shrimp back."
- "I'm not eating shrimp. I'm eating lobster."
- "I'm allergic to shrimp."
- "I'm a vegetarian."
- "I'm trying to lose weight."
- "I'm trying to save money."
- "I'm trying to be more environmentally friendly."
- "I'm trying to be more ethical."
- "I'm trying to be more sustainable."
Which comeback you choose will depend on your relationship with your coworker, your sense of humor, and how you want to respond to the situation."

2023.03.22 06:00 skyeward33 Building a PC for a person who doesn't care about fancy lights etc
I've always bought prebuilts for myself, but I have raised money (approx $2100AUD it looks like) with my partner's friends and family to build his pc for his bday. His best friend knows way more about tech than me and has given me a list of stuff to buy, one of which of those things was a $250AUD case with the flashy lights etc.
I know my partner doesn't care about the flashy builds, he pretty much doesn't even care about upgrading, he's perfectly happy with his current PC that has a completely enclosed case, a small monitor and he can only play games from 10+ years ago, however he does say that when we have the money, the first luxury purchase he would make is a new PC. He does want to be able to play some newer games with us and frequently borrows my PC to play games that don't run so well on his pc, but I am a uni student and at the moment need my PC often to do uni work, so that is why we've raised the funds for this pc.
The following is the list of parts his friend has given me, I'm just looking to see if there's a less flashy perhaps cheaper case I can go with? Any money saved on the pc just goes to upgrading his monitor and buying him new games for the PC, maybe even buying him a new comfy chair, which is the only reason I'm looking to save wherever we can. Currently, these parts add up to $1649AUD, so the monitor and one or two games are achievable, but I'd like to see what our options are for cheaper cases.
TLDR: what is he cheapest case will run these parts well? No need for flashy lights or pretty stuff, he's happy with a totally black box that is hidden away under his desk.

2023.03.22 05:58 Clumsypeaches I'm actually scared for me and my partner to still live in Texas TW suicide
BG real quick. Me and my partner are trans and in our late twenty, we met a year ago. also pardon me for grammar and spelling I am low key spiraling.
the way tx was at the time when we first met wasn't threatened our lives it was join the summer, eventually that time pass and texas realise/propose bill that basically threatened our lives, this was December btw when the bill was announce.
I remember my partner crying/scared and all around upset cause all they wanted to do was started a life with me and they felt like that was being ripped from their hand. of course I was upset too, they basically wanted to move (understandable), but without me/didn't want to burden me uproot my life etc. I said to hell with that, where are we going? Well we decide where we wanted to go at this point, but of course as time pass we slowly realize as much this was a good plan not only equily together we didn't have enough money save up but we were still struggling to find a job to said new place.
At this point I am trying my best dang hardest to be strong for both of us, with all due respect my partner more worried/ on verge of ending their lives, as I was basically stress as fuck to tell them we can't move right due to finance. Of course we evently did talk about it, but lately on news I see that texas is definitely not the place to be right now if you are trans, it best to get the fuck out like right now. but unfortunately we can't do that right now, and I am more worried for my partner more than myself especially when they are by themselves (they get around town by walking and taking the bus/public transportation). I been trying to watch the new less as my partner did that a month ago cause it was too streessing them out, but I can't help to watch more like for update like a clock ticking for our lives here's.
I just want to get out with my partner to a more safe place and find somewhere we can actually find a home in, without fear for our lives every minute of the day, at the same time it make me so depressed knowing I am getting kick out of a place I thought that was home but isn't, I'm depressed I have to leave friends and family behind when I really don't want to but knowing damn well I can't stay here.

2023.03.22 05:57 penguinchange Should I stop making minimum payments for a couple months to save up enough to pay off a big chunk of debt at once?
I made a big time goof - I opened many credit cards over the past year which I shouldnt have but here we. I was not aware of what APR is or how I’m just essentially paying interest forever with these minimum payments. I’m not getting anywhere . Would it be wise to turn off my auto pay for one - 3 months and save what I would’ve been spending 35 dollars minimum on one card , 75 minimum on another , 100 on another etc and just take the temporary credit hit so then I can use that pocketed money to put down a bigger 500-800 dollar payment a little bit down the line? I got myself into a bad situation and I know it was stupid so I’m just trying to get myself out slowly.

2023.03.22 05:55 CaseyPog I’m (20M) worried about where my partner (18F) and I are heading.
So I’ve considered posting on her a couple times so here we go.
My partner and I hit 11 months today. Which is great I’m super excited, but I’m worried about our future. She comes from a very low income household full of addicts and drama. I was raised in an average suburban household with just my mother and I. We weren’t “well off” financially, but we weren’t poor. So I understand that we come from very different backgrounds and I accept that. The reason I’m including this is because when I try to talk to my partner about this kind of stuff a lot of time she says “well I guess I was just raised differently. ”
When my partner and I first got together I was in college doing what I loved and living in the college dorms. I had been living “on my own” for going on 6ish months and I had been mainly living off money I saved up during highschool. I worked at the college and was double-majoring so I was very busy.
Not long after we go together my partner had just moved into a friend of hers house, but long story short he kicked her out so he could move back in with his mom. So, her not wanting to go back to her moms house I let her move into the college dorms with me. I talked to my roommate about it and he said it was fine as long as it was temporary. After about a month he said that he was no longer comfortable with her and her cat, who she insisted on coming with her, living there.
Me being lovestruck I went to the bank and got a loan of a couple thousand dollars and found us a rent house. The cost of utilities started being higher than I expected and eventually my partner talked me into dropping out of college so I could work more. Throughout all of this she had been on and off working. She couldn’t really hold a job for more than a month before they let her go because she kept calling in.
Once we moved into the new house I talked to her about how if she’s going to work she needs to be serious so we can afford to live here as we had agreed that everything would be split 50/50. Since then she has been through about 6 jobs some of them not only did I get for her, but also I had to fill out the application for her.
I’m now working 2 jobs and she hasn’t worked in over 2 months and I’m miserable with not being in school and doing what I enjoy. So I sat her down over a month ago and said that she needs to get serious or she has to leave and now she finally got a job, but I’m worried it’s going to be the same thing over again.
I should also include that not everything had been great this whole time. Early in the relationship I caught her talking to her ex. Who she blocked after I caught her lying about and one night I was having really bad panic attacks and asked her to comfort me and she instead said that she deserves to hang out with her friends.
Also our water has been shut off for a couple days now and she doesn’t even seem bothered, but if she can’t find any weed she is 10x more concerned. I tried saying that I was worried about paying rent, and she immediately started talking about how long until they could evict us, but I would never do that to my landlords because that’s have been great to us this whole time.
I’m not sure if I want to spend my life with that kind of person, and I don’t like the kind of person she makes me fell like.

2023.03.22 05:55 Orangensaft007 Periods when to make money
| Apparently made in 1875 by Samuel Benner shows a period of great buying opportunity and good times to sell. A self fulfilling prophecy? Acting on patterns may lead us to great opportunities... Or we get outsmarted.. submitted by Orangensaft007 to cryptocurrencymemes [link] [comments] |
2023.03.22 05:53 TraditionalAd552 Experienced (but lacking work experience) Programmer, Web Developer, Entrepreneur, looking for work.
Hi guys. I am sick of getting nowhere with my own entrepreneurial endeavours and want to find a decent job so my mother can stop worrying about me. My depression over the past few years with a few major things happening in my life I will spare you the story of, has ended up in me not doing anything but getting enough work to pay the bills and just get by. Having nobody believing in me or rooting for me has completely sapped me dry of any motivation and I am ready to sell out on my dreams of working for myself for now and just get a job and career going before the blank space of time on my resume becomes too alarming.
I have been working for myself taking on moving jobs ( here is my website -
www.carefullmoving.ca - have been renting trucks, working with a network of movers I have built over the years to do jobs ), and some websites here and there, graphic design, some programming jobs (a hobby which I excel at as I have been programming since high school, consistently, but just for fun and entrepreneurial endeavours). But I am finding it hard to get anywhere because I can only seem to do enough to get by and pay bills, and when I do get things going well.... I am extremely bad with accounting and finances so that money never seems to get used in the right ways to grow and obtain more business... Yet I am not at a point where I could hire someone to take care of the financial aspects. I feel like I am just wasting years at this point and acting out a sunken cost fallacy where I feel I just keep going because I have already invested time and effort for years into these things so keep on at it and just keep getting nowhere if I am completely honest.
For a couple years around 2018-2019, I was doing quite well but did not save or re-invest properly, and now with this economic crisis, I am getting less business than ever.
I am so done with being stressed, depressed, financially unstable and unsure of the future, I am seeking some stability, so I can take a breath. My personal life is chaos right now with my sister getting cancer for the second time and potentially months to live, my parents getting divorced, older brother going back to jail for the millionth time, and then a million other little things to pile on that. I really just want a job where I can excel, BUT, I am applying and applying and receiving no calls back or emails.
Is anybody hiring?
I just want a decent job doing something I enjoy, which would be tech, IT, programming related jobs, OR business development/sales/marketing positions. It is funny because I am very good with programming, know multiple languages and many different frameworks, databases etc..., but lack experience on my resume and lack the experience of working in a team in the tech space. My resume sucks because I have been trying the entrepreneurial thing all these years, and even though I have been working hard to try make things happen for myself , it looks unimpressive. What would you folks here on Reddit recommend I do?
I unfortunately am so depressed from this situation I have gotten myself into and everything going on that even applying for jobs right now feels tough. It took a lot for me to even get type this, though I want to say if given an opportunity I would be so grateful and give it 200%. Where can I apply that might consider someone in my relatively unique position? Experienced but lacking experience, as paradoxical as it sounds. I am 28 years old for the record.
Resume:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pH6-UQh7zd6Xh2Wa_4bzjZejBwz_AigV/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=104552793081721124198&rtpof=true&sd=true
EDIT: Seriously, if it is tech related I can do it, and if I do not know how to do it I can learn how to do it, properly, correctly, and learn fast. Need a website? I can build it. Whatever framework or platform it is, though I prefer Django or Flask coupled with React or Vue. Need an app? I can build it. Any platform, though I prefer React Native. Need a logo? I am creative and skilled with adobe illustrator and graphic design in general. Need video editing, a videographer, or audio specialist?? I have been to school for that. Need copy for advertising or your website? I can write very well, and have a knack for sales and marketing. Need someone who knows excel/sheets? I am not an excel wizard but I can do some more complex stuff. Need someone who can automate things for your business? I can write some scripts that will potentially save you hundreds of hours over time. Need a custom phone/sms system of any type/kind? I have you covered. Need anything tech related? I can probably do it, and if I cannot I will learn, and do it properly with rapid turnover. I am eager to get out of the rut I have dug myself into career wise (or lack of career should I say) and fill this unsightly gap and lack of on the job experience on my resume. The self employed thing is sadly just not working anymore. I am tired of just getting by. I want to make my mother proud, or at least stop worrying. I am sitting here typing this while my little brother is getting married, has a career, and just bought a house (I am extremely happy for him just feeling inadequate by this I suppose). It is really wearing away at me.
