Late 20's millenial here, just highly curious about the origin and history of Takuache style/culture that's very prominent in the RGV. Every time I go to the mall, I see a bunch of high school guys hang in big groups, and they all have the same hairstyle, walking and acting the same.

I (23 M) have been studying for the MCAT since last May (of 2022). I did content review throughout the summer and foolishly didn't do enough practice questions and full lengths (I was scheduled to take the exam on September 2nd, and decided to push it back). I had to then push my test date back to January 2023. I unfortunately still wasn't able to study as efficiently as I would have liked. This is because I got caught up in some post grad things. I became a fellow for an instructional lab for children, apprenticed to be a TA (teachers assistant) for a biology lab for an undergrad course (this means I would have to teach other students how to do experiments and teach them lab techniques, I and also doing research with the biology department undergrad director, and on top of all that I worked at a fast food restaurant on the weekends, for extra money. So as you can tell I've been doing a lot, I would even say I have been pushing myself past my limits. My plans for this upcoming semester are to continue being a TA and doing research. I'm still considering on if I should take on some courses for my masters while applying for medical school. I don't necessarily want or need my masters, but I have a gut feeling that it is a good safety net in case if poop hits the fan in the near future. I feel like I have been doing wayyy too much, and I for a while ended up putting the mcat on the back burner up until these last few weeks. I have been studying my butt off and my score simply doesn't budge on practice exams (its super low). I'm afraid that there might not be future dates for me to take the exam before I have to apply to medical schools.
I left the instructional lab bc I didn't get along with the coordinator bc she always called me lazy and said I didn't work hard enough, despite me telling everyone everything I have been doing. I also just couldn't get along with a coworker who was super rude, and always said "that's just how she was raised and its a cultural thing", and also if I teamed up with her and we messed up or forgot something she was quick to blame me.
Also my mom forced me to come to Mexico with her to spend my Christmas break with my sister (38 F) , and three nephews (18, 15, and 13) all three of my nephews are Edgars/takuache (if you don't know what those are look it up or look up "no queue cut"). Anyways everyone who came is annoying af they don't stfu and they don't let me study in peace. I asked my mom if I could have a room to myself for the sake of studying for the mcat, but my nephews keep bugging and making noise, and my sister keeps b*tching at me. I complain to my mom and stress to her and my family how important this is to me and to just leave me the f alone, but they undermine it and keep going with their bs. Yesterday I got mad at my mom bc she says I spent all day in my room and need to go out more ( but she only said that bc my sister wanted to go out somewhere but didn't want to go alone) , so I get upset, have a mental breakdown and lash out at everyone. I feel burnt out and tired, and I need a break (not just a vacation, but actual time away from my sister, her kids and my mom), but I can't have a break bc of all the obligations I have coming up. IDK what to do, I feel like I only have two options, either push through it, or push back my mcat date til later. If I push back my mcat date, it sets everything back, and I would have to apply to medical school during a later cycle (possibly until 2024).
Do I have the right to be mad/upset in this situation? Do I have the right to complain and say I'm tired? should I seek help from a psychiatrist/therapist? what would you do in my situation?
