I'm asking because I don't have the money to buy too much stuff but at the same time I want to help (I know that it won't make that much differenze, but I'm doing what I can), so recently I started buying some volumes and reading the rest trough other ways, but I can't buy all the volumes I want at one time and since I don't how many chapters there are between the volume I have and the one I want to buy I don't know how much chapters I should read. My mother is extremely insecure about all the parts of her body. She says she hates her legs cause her veins are showing, she hates her arms cause she thinks they look old, she hates her hands for the same reason, her face because she says it has too many wrinkles, she thinks she's fat and she hates her hair because it "looks like straw". I showed her a picture of herself because I thought she looked very pretty and she started crying about how ugly she was. What can I do to help? It shatters my heart into pieces, I've tried everything I could to convince her that she's the prettiest to me. I cut my hair exactly like her to show her how much I look up to her but she still hates herself and projects it onto me too. It's like an endless cycle of women hating their own bodies, my mother hates herself because my grandmother hated herself and my grandmother hated herself because her mother hated herself and so on. I want to make it stop but I don't know how. I even tried explaining that just because society deems older women as not pretty it doesn't mean it's true.

According to the sources above, it would be plausible to expect that Autism would correlate with S more than N. Using basic inferential logic, this would imply that it would be rare for INTJs to have autism.
Anybody here who has autism and thinks they are an INTJ? If so, what are your thoughts? Can autism co-exist with N? I mean, one could argue that it is possibly to hyperfocus on 1/a few interests (due to the autism), but also in general act more consistent with N. This is interesting because they seem to be polar opposites.

I was at a buddy’s house today, and he was playing some resurgence on PS4. The smoke coming out of the barrels of his guns is absurd and completely impossible to see through.
It is absolutely ridiculous how difficult it is to see when firing at medium to long range because of all the smoke coming off the barrel and even OUT OF YOUR TARGET.

Hi I am gif and I am a sex addict. Last night into today I have been working the Gentle Path book. One of the topics that surfaced for me was what would letting go of the feelings I am holding towards my last relationship mean to me. In a weird convoluted way the association was that I would be vulnerable to them hurting me again. I myself qualify for ACA and various anon programs so I have tons of adaptive survival responses that are super effective just not aligned with the me I am in recovery some which i still have yet to recognize. So where am I... I just cannot move this anger. They won't apologize or try to amend their harms. It's been 2 years it's time to give up hope they actually cared about me. I don't know what healthy love in this chapter means for me. I keep circling back to this idea that this sexual avoidance is as compulsive as acting out. Bought Padre Pio tickets on first day of release (yesterday). Made a mistake driving to wrong theater 😇 and checked my phone, and Matt Fradd shared a post on YT about blasphemy in the movie. There are lots of info on how to train auxiliary models to a base stable diffusion model, such as hypernetworks, Loras, embeddings, etc. But how does one actually train a .ckpt/.safetensors checkpoint? I understand that one can use Dreambooth to train a .ckpt/.safetensors file, but when following a tutorial this seems way too limited, it seems that you can't actually add any new concepts by way of Dreambooth, only alter existing and little utilized ones, that is it seems that when you write "spaceship" in the prompt this is not actually understood as a single concept but as a collection of tokens, let's say the tokens {spa, pace, aces, esh, ship} (I don't actually know how the words are actually broken in tokens, so I don't think this actually will be the decomposition) and the combined values of these tokens composed that generate images of spaceships.
So it seems to me that if I wished to train a Stable Diffusion model that was able to understand and generate images of, let's say, Star Trek races I couldn't actually train the concept of a vulcan character, obviuosly this will have a conflict with the geological vulcan, so one could think that training with the name vulcan_ST would avoid this conflict but because of the tokenization this will not happen, so if one were to try to train the concept bolian god knows how this would alter other concepts that share tokens with the word bolian. I believe that is why people generally advice training new concepts in previously existing, but little used tokens such as ohwx, zwx, sks (although apparently this last one is related to guns by some reason), but then this would imply that if I would want to make a image of "a vulcan drinking a blue liquid with a bolian" I would have to write in the prompt something like "a ohwx drinking a blue liquid with a zwx" and this seems very limiting.
I don't have seen much about textual inversion, but it seems to be able to introduce new tokens into Stable diffusion so that you may train new concepts without modifying the other concepts, although this may work with something like "bolian" I don't' know if this would work with a "vulcan_ST" because of the tokenization that probably would still make it have conflict with the geological type of vulcan. Also it is kinda bad that, as I understand, this textual inversion will create another auxiliary model that hs to be included and explicitly invoked in Stable Diffusion, is there a way to incorporate this textual inversion auxiliary model inside the base .ckpt/.safetensors checkpoint so as to only have one .ckpt/.safetensors file that includes all the concepts that one would want after training in their natural appelations, i.e., "bolian", "cardassian", "vulcan_ST" ?

Sorry for bad grammar and spelling mistakes, I am not the best at typing.
I met my step mum when I was about nine years old, at first I loved her, how she would buy me toys and sweets and that my dad finally wasn’t lonely anymore. But once we moved in with her it got bad. She would constantly tell me off for small things like forgetting feed the cats or not asking before watching the television. (For your information they are her cats and lived there before me and my dad moved in).
The longer we lived here the worse it got. She didn’t tell me off as much now as I am much bigger then her and more mature but she would still and still does ridicule me and take the piss out of me. Now just so you know I have temper problems and OCD traits that I’ve picked up from my mum whilst growing up which do have a roll in this.
A few things have happened so I’ll try to keep it short and only talk about the main ones. My step mum would always tell me to give my stuff to her son such as I should give him my skateboard or my big bear that I bought from IKEA with my own money. Now obviously I said no to this as my skateboard is too big for him and I don’t want him to break it because honestly he is so bad at skateboarding and he always throws his skateboard which I don’t want him to do to mine and I’m not gonna just give him a £30 bear that I bought with my own money because he had a tantrum that he wasn’t aloud one because he has too many stuffed animals already. (£30 is a lot of money for me as I’m not very well off). This just makes me hate both of them as she thinks her son is perfect and he’s the best in the world, he cry’s all the time so he can get what he wants (annoying I know).
Now skip to when I made her cry. I was in a bad place and was pretty much done with everyone’s shit, I was trying to be nice and hide it from everyone but this just made me snap. We were going to have Chinese for dinner and me and my dad went out to buy it. Once we got back we were setting it up in the kitchen so that everyone could come in and put some stuff onto their plates. I got our separate spoons for each of the containers that contained each meal and plates for everyone. My step mum was first to help herself and scooped up a curry of some sort, licked the spoon and then dipped it into the rice. I lost my temper and screamed “there was different spoons for each meal, not sharing and why did you lick it now it’s ruined” (I know this doesn’t make much sense) my dad just saw it as a joke as I could see he thought what she did was quite disgusting and said “is your OCD twitching out?” I told him to shut up in a jokey way because that’s just our relationship but my step mum seemed to take it the wrong way.. she started off by saying “do you ever just want to take your food upstairs and eat in your room?” I said what as I didn’t really understand and then she continued by saying “sometimes your really mean” I didn’t know what was going on so I just stood watching her as she ran upstairs to their room. My dad realised that my step mum was crying and completely switched up telling me how rude it was and that I needed to apologise (I never did) and gave me a lecture about how I need to control my anger issues and my temper.

Hello, I moved to Scottsdale to train for my first season of professional basketball. While I'm here, I plan on reviving my YouTube channel, and live streaming on the platform at least once every week until I release my documentary later this summer about the journey to signing my first contract.
Since I'm looking for guests that are around my age to come on the stream, and I'm nearby a college as big as GCU, I thought why not make an account on here and see if there'd be any potential options. This is an ongoing drama, one that won't stop until probably next year or even longer. But before I get into the details of the drama, let's talk about the background, and the important information to know...
TW: Sexual assault discussion mentioned about halfway.

Hockey? NHL? What the fuck are those?

Ice hockey is a sport where 6 very large, burly men put swords on their feet and glide around on ice against 6 other very large, burly men who also have sword-shoes. They carry a stick to whack around a hard little circle of rubber and each other (most often each other) with the goal of hitting that little rubber past another large burly man into a 6'x4' net. A game takes place over 3 periods of 20 minutes each, and whoever hits the rubber circle most often in the opponent's Warhammer gaming table sized net is the winner of the game. There are 82 games during the 'regular season', and then they compete in the 'playoffs' for the Stanley Cup, which is worth at least $5.
The National Hockey League, or the Ligue Nationale de Hockey if you hate everyone else in North America, is effectively the world's highest level of ice hockey. People all over the world spend their entire youth lives training to have a shot at being drafted by an NHL team, from Belarus to England, from Canada to Australia. There are other leagues in the world, but they are more or less for people who are shunned in the NHL for whatever reason, people who have retired from the NHL but still play hockey for whatever reason (Jaromir Jagr, I'm looking at you), or people who aren't good enough to play in the NHL but still good enough to be paid to play.
There are 32 teams in the NHL at the moment, but the most important teams for this story are:
1) Chicago Blackhawks: I'm going to go over the Blackhawks later in this post. It's...a lot.
2) Anaheim Ducks: A team that was originally owned by Disney based on the movie The Mighty Ducks. No, I'm not joking. They were founded in 1993 and have had some close calls with the Stanley Cup, but has never won it. They finished the 22-23 season with the worst record possible, and one of the worst records in NHL history.
3) Columbus Blue Jackets: They're young, having only existed since 2000. They've never been in the Stanley Cup finals, and have never really had a good season during their existence. They finished second to last.
4) Seattle Kraken: They're the newest team, being founded in 2021. They're actually not relevant at all to this post; they're my team and therefore am obligated to mention them.

Okay, so sword-feet and stick hitting rubber circle. What is this about 'draft'?

In order to make it to the NHL, you have to be drafted by an NHL team. Being drafted is similar to how people used to pick each other for teams during recess. You know, where you kept getting picked last. Except if you get drafted, you get a contract worth potentially millions of dollars.
The draft takes place over a series of rounds, where each team picks one person each (unless they traded their draft pick, but this isn't relevant). In the first round, the teams with the worst record draft first, all the way up to the team that won the Stanley Cup. Then in the second round, it counts down from Stanley Cup winner down to the worst, third round is from worst to best again, and so on until the draft is completed (Usually 7 rounds).
HOWEVER, there is a twist...

The Lottery

So in order to prevent teams from 'tanking', aka losing on purpose in order to get the best draft pick, the league came up with the Draft Lottery. After the season has ended, every team that didn't make the playoffs participates in the lottery. Whoever wins the lottery will jump up 10 spots in the draft. Teams who were worse during the season get higher odds. This year, the team with the best odds are the Anaheim Ducks, at 18.5% chance of winning, since they sucked hard and it wasn't even on purpose.

Okay, enough. Why is the 2023 draft important?

This year is one of the most important drafts in recent NHL history. The current highest-rated prospect is Connor Bedard. Bedard is...good. Like, really good. Like, really, REALLY good. Top NHL players are saying that Bedard already has the best shot release in hockey right now at least...and he's only like 17 years old. I won't go into it much further, but Connor Bedard is the type of player that can lead teams to the Stanley Cup by just being on the team. People are comparing him to Wayne Gretzky; if you need context for who that is, he's considered one of the best sports-people of all time out of all sports.

Side Show -- The Chicago Blackhawks, and Why Everyone Hates Them

The Blackhawks, which I'm going to call the Hawks, are an old team. They've been around since the 40s as one of the 'original six', teams that have been around since the modern NHL was a thing (well, not really, but it's not relevant). Yes, the NHL only had 6 teams until the 1960s, which is when they finally expanded into more markets, which then snowballed into what we have now (32 teams).
The Hawks have had...a rough recent history. They effectively had a dynasty for most of the 2010s, winning the Stanley Cup 3 times, and a lot of it had to do with their talent. Before the 2010s, the Hawks sucked. That is, until they drafted amazing players like Jonathan Toews (pronounced "taves", not "toes") and Patrick Kane, who helped boost them to the Stanley Cup in the 10's (They have since retired. This is important context.) These picks were already controversial; people like to claim that the NHL favors original six teams because they're massive markets, which means more butts-in-seats, which means more money. So the Blackhawks getting so many first round, top-3 picks was...suspicious to most.
But all of this is overshadowed by the sexual assault and subsequent cover up.
During the 2010 season, one of their cup-winning seasons, a player named Kyle Beach, was sexually assaulted by a member of the coaching staff. He brought it forward to the organization who did their best to make sure that the coaching staff was safe and sound. Kyle Beach never broke into the NHL aside from the 2010 season -- take that information for what it is. In 2021, Kyle Beach sued the Blackhawks for their mishandling. An independent investigation found that the Blackhawks knew about the sexual assault, and did nothing to the perpetrator. The perpetrator went on to commit more acts of sexual assault against young players.
The punishment that the Blackhawks faced? Nothing major. They were fined $2 million. Which...is basically nothing, considering they made $222 million that year. So, like...1%.
This punishment was a slap in the face to teams like the Arizona Coyotes, who lost draft picks (which means losing players that could turn their organization around) because of a much, MUCH less severe violation (In their case, the Coyotes were performing physicals on potential draftees before they were drafted, which is a violation of the NHL constitution). Other teams have lost players because of similar circumstances -- the first one that comes to mind is the Boston Bruins, who dropped a (potential) top player because it came to light he had hazed, abused, and hurled racial slurs at a black autistic player in the junior leagues.
Needless to say, this further fueled conspiracies that the Blackhawks were getting special treatment because of their status as an original six team, and how big the Chicago market is.

Didn't the NHL originally fine the Devils $3 million for the Kovalchuk stuff a decade ago? What a joke. [Context: Kovalchuk was a high-level player, and the Devils tried to do some sneaky-shady stuff in order to keep him.]
Coyotes lost high picks for getting extra physical data, Devils got fined $3m and two picks for cap circumvention, and we got fined $250k for calling out George Parros for being the joke he is. And all the Blackhawks get for covering up rape is a $2m fine?? What a fucking joke [Context: This is a Rangers fan, and the Rangers called out George Parros, leader of the Department of Player Safety, for doing nothing about player safety. They were fined $250k for making mean comments.]

It doesn't really help that Chicago fans have a poor reputation. In the NHL, Chicago fans have a reputation for being drunk fair-weather fans. Before 2010 Chicago had a rough time filling up their arena to half-way. During the 2010s? Sellout arena, every game. Going into the 2020s, when their team started sucking again, they're back to struggling filling seats.
So the hockey fandom in general doesn't really like Chicago, but how does this all tie into the 2023 Draft?

The Lottery (for real this time)

As mentioned before, the 2023 season was potentially a huge season for struggling teams like the Columbus Blue Jackets or the Anaheim Ducks. Getting Connor Bedard would turn around entire franchises, overnight.
Going into the draft, the heavy favorites to win the lottery were the Ducks at 18.5%, the Blue Jackets at 13.5%, and the Chicago Blackhawks at 11.5%. The other 13 teams had basically less than 10% odds.
The draft lottery was televised, and millions of people watched ESPN and TSN to see the results from all over the league. Top teams in the west were praying that the lottery winner would go to the Blue Jackets so they wouldn't have to face Bedard, and top teams in the east were praying the lottery pick would go to the west for the same reason. Everyone universally had the same sentiment though:

Anyone but Chicago.

The hosts go down the line to show the new draft lineup, starting from 16 and going down. Nothing seemed to change in the lineup; teams hoping for ajump up were sadly disappointed but knew they never really had a chance anyways.
The hosts get to the top 5. The reveal the 5th pick is...Montreal. Montreal fans speak French-Canadian sadly, or whatever it is Quebecois folk do.

The card for 3rd place wasn't revealed, how could they have known that Columbus was the 3rd pick? Conspiracy talk bumps up in the live Reddit thread. People were already saying that Chicago won the lottery. They just knew.

Nice of ESPN to state Columbus will pick 3rd before Daley ever even showed it and they went to commercials “It will be either Chicago or Anaheim”….
Elliotte Friedman tweeted out who got pick 1 and 2 during the commercial break. Said tweets have now been deleted.

The NHL lottery comes back on after commercials and reveal that CBJ wins the 3rd pick to no one's surprise. All that's left is two envelopes, one with a '2' the other with a '1'. They begin to open the '2' envelope. The hockey world goes silent, as whoever gets the 2 spot means that the other won the lottery...

Living in a Post-Apocalypse Wasteland

It's been barely a month since the bomb dropped. Food is hard to come by. Hope is lost. People fight each other for the barest scraps of undamaged cloth to keep warm at night since the sun was blacked out.
We don't know what will happen. Life is moving on, but is it really life if there's no will to live?
In seriousness, no one wanted this outcome. Even some Hawks fans hated this. It's hard to say what will happen to the NHL now. Some people are saying that Connor Bedard will get drafted and refuse to play for the Blackhawks, demanding to be traded. Some say he'll disappear to Europe and play in the Swedish league or the KHL to avoid the Blackhawks contract. Others say he'll be a fool to avoid the NHL and just take what he's got, and demand a trade later.
No one knows what Connor Bedard is thinking. He's not really said anything. But we do know that the world of hockey has been shaken to its core. If Bedard plays, Chicago will be a force to be reckoned with for years. If he avoids Chicago, it'll be a legendary act of defiance that will 100% cause the NHL to invent a rule to prevent that from happen again.
But for now, I must return to my fallout shelter. It's not healthy to stand in the radiation for too long.

So, I don’t know where to start with this. We met at a music festival 8 years ago and became instantly close because we also lived nearby. At the time I’d watch her young kid, cook, always come over, do everything together type thing. Eventually I was her MOH in her wedding 4 years after that and shortly moved from our city 3000 miles away to an isolated tropical location.
I was the first friend to visit just 3 months after they moved (about 4 years ago now), we had a great time. She had a baby and I visited when the while was 1, and I visited again early this year when her child was almost 3-year-old. We have maintained a close long-distance friendship through these years, and I was always one to visit. I’ve been a good friend being long distance, sending care packages, gifts for her now two kids, etc. I always pick up the phone and make time for her to talk. We have business plans together and know everything about each other.
The last few months she will hardly talk to me, I know she’s busy with a toddler, but this has been beyond quiet. Let me rewind to earlier this year where, reflecting, she might have been kind of a bad friend. In early January, another city friend of ours was going to go visit so I thought it would be fun if I fly out too. I pay for a ridiculously expensive flight to go see her a few days before new year’s, but I didn’t care because life is short. So, we would have maybe 4 days together to catch up and be friends. On the night of New Year’s Eve, we mee these random people on a boardwalk. She gets this girls number who closer to my age and has two young kids, makes sense because she just moved to this island and that way their kids have a playdate. I expect they would do this after I left.
The next night this new friend calls her looking for weed to smoke because they are new, and she wants some of the stuff that I threw down money for my time being there with my friend. This new girl brings over a crew of like 6 or 7 other people to smoke this weed the next evening, kind of robbing my time with my best friend. Whatever I thought, until a day or two later my friend invited her over again (and their whole crew) so their kids could play.
Now I get it, I don’t have kids or anything, but I thought my friend would want to spend some more time with me and not some new randoms. I would have hung out just with her and her toddler (since she made me her toddler’s godmother) because that’s what I flew out to do before our other friend got out here, but boy was I wrong.
Also, through the trip she would leave me along with her toddler without warning while her and her husband went to go smoke (I felt left out). I understand my friend has children so there would be kind of working around the child’s time and all that, but I didn’t expect her to want to spend so much time with new strangers at her house and quite literally leave me in the corner.
Now that she has hardly been talking to me (I know she is having an emotional affair) I am looking back on her actions as a friend, and I just feel icky. Maybe her pulling away is a gift but I still feel sad. It makes me feel I can never be taken seriously as a friend because I don’t have kids or something. Mind you, she never sends me anything or takes initiative for me to come over even though she always hosts and all that (she lives in a very popular vacation destination) but I go there more for time with my friends than a free vacation (I pitch in for food, want to spend time with them, ect.). So lately I’ve just had radio silence even though I know she has time, she probably prefers these new island people.
So we have stopped talking as much and upon reflection, I feel like I am not that important to her. How would everyone else feel in this situation? Thank you.

This week I found out my long term girlfriend cheated on me after getting very drunk on a night out to the point that she didn’t fully remember what happened or what her thought process was. But I asked her to speak with the other guy to find out and turns out she did indeed have sex with him. She was uncomfortable in the conversation with him and almost threw up when he confirmed it.
We are semi long distance, i visit for a few days every two weeks, there have been a few times where we didn’t see each other for many weeks. But since early April I hadn’t seen her due to both our schedules simply not matching. We have been in a bad place for the past 1.5months where we’ve barely texted as a couple normally would, then we had arguments last week (the week that ended with her cheating on Sunday). I was anyway due to visit her on Monday to talk about our arguments in person and this is when she told me she regretfully cheated.
During that period when we weren’t speaking much I was also considering ending things but then also I am in fact moving to her city next week anyway for work. So I did want to wait until then to see if we were better when being in the same city and therefore I wouldn’t think we should break up. When she told me she cheated I suddenly now feel conflicted like “do I actually care about her even more than I thought?”. I know if her cheating hadn’t happened, we would’ve been stronger as a couple because of me moving and therefore us spending more time together. She did know I was moving but since it had been delayed a few times over the months for genuine reasons she didn’t want to have her hopes up and decided to wait until I was actually in the city permanently.
Anyway, she told me straight away (the next day when we met) and didn’t hide it. She has never cheated in prior relationships. She is very remorseful and has struggled to live with herself for the 5 days since it happened. She’s not eating much at all and has messaged me several times conveying her regret and apologies. She is desperate not to lose me. She has also said that whether or not we remain together she’s gonna drink less and handle her response to bad situations differently by not going out and getting drunk. She is also going to therapy.
I’m now taking some time to myself to figure out what to do but part of me understands why she did it (although both she and I know there is no excuse for doing what she did). If we were in a good place she says she’s very sure she wouldn’t have done it even if she was super drunk. Also due to me moving here, I highly doubt we’ll have any issues as when we are together it was always perfect, but when apart we always had issues which were mostly because of my lack of communication which led to her feeling frequently detached, particularly when we spent so much time apart and recently it built up in her especially from the last 1.5 months where we’ve been at our worst.
If I try to get past this and give her the chance she is so desperate for, my main issue is the recurring thoughts and images of her having sex with someone else. These thoughts make me physically repulsed by her where I can’t even touch her without feeling like I’ve touched a thorn. If I were to try and get past it, I would need to cope with these thoughts.
So folks, if we are gonna make it work, how does one get past it? Particularly, how does one get past those thoughts/images mentioned in the previous paragraph?

Should I break up with my gf ?
My GF (35) & I (30F) have been dating for a couple of months. She is not out, but I am. There are a handful of people (4 including me) that know she’s in the closet. None of her close friends/family know. One of those people is her Ex, who she was with for a while. They have history and my GF has claimed in the past that “she means nothing” & they’re “hardly friends”. That has changed over the past couple of months. There is a trend where my GF communicates with this Ex (let’s call her Jasmine) much more frequently when we’re in a bad space. There has been a couple of instances where my GF has made plans with Jasmine while we’ve been in an argument or something. While they hang out, Jasmine has done things (tried to kiss my GF, tried to kiss her neck, rubbed her back (my GF wasn’t feeling well) , put her hands on her thighs) and my GF has said she’s always asked her to stop immediately. My GF had a serious talk with Jasmine, and things calmed down for a while.
This last time, however, was our worst argument to date which lasted about 2 weeks.During this time, Jasmine and my GF have hung out a lot and talked much more than usual. I know that my GF confides in her especially about her sexual orientation and how that affects her.
We didn’t talk as much as usual but checked in on each other during the week. Basic “good morning / how are you texts” and what not.
My GF has now told me Jasmine slept over over one of the night. They were apparently hanging out at my GF’s apartment, and my GF started feeling unwell. According to my GF, they were cuddling and Jasmine was rubbing her back. My GF also told me that Jasmine kissed her sometime that night & she pulled away immediately.. My GF mentioned that she felt broken up, anyways, so she didn’t care much. However, I wasn’t aware of that.
It’s very frustrating because my GF doesn’t have any one else to talk to so I would feel selfish to request that she stops talking to her. To be clear it’s not what I want. However I feel like they relationship she has with her will always be a source of contention between us.
I’m not quite sure what I should do in this situation or how to better articulate myself to my Gf.
