If you look at a Minecraft map from afar, you'll notice it barely looks like a real map. The water masses are just big lakes, alternating with land at random intervals. So I propose to change world generation and make it more continent-based. But this isn't just "make land generate in isolated islands". There's more to it.
Essentially, there are different kinds of continents. Each kind has a certain combination of biomes and structures. For example, the game could be coded to always spawn you in a beginning continent with standard stuff. Plains, forests, villages, deserts, etc.
Then, you'd go to discover new lands far across the sea, in search of treasure exclusive to certain continents. For example, maybe strongholds only spawn in a type continent with tons of danger on its surface. Or mushroom plains are part of a rare mystery continent.

This clearly comes from Sanskrit haṃ < Proto-Indo-Iranian *ȷ́ʰam < Proto-Indo-European *ǵʰom. What cognates might we expect to find in other languages?

I was looking at different sets and eventually came across the Minecraft Llama village and was very drawn to it. I've never had any interest in Minecraft sets before but was thinking of trying it. Has there ever been a theme you basically wrote off and were then surprised by later on and really enjoyed?

In Minecraft Zombies are tied to a fairly barebones 'horde' mechanic, where Zombies when damaged have a chance of summoning more zombies to back them up. This mechanic is pretty cool, and fits zombies thematically but I think it should more actively buff zombies to make hordes an actual threat you have to worry about.
The reason for buffing them like this is because zombies in modern Minecraft just aren't very threatening, they're too slow to be able to threaten the player in most scenarios. Even if a player is forced to fight them it's trivially easy to just kite away from the zombie while hitting it. As opposed to just outright buffing Zombie base stats or numbers, it's more interesting to buff them via a mechanic that I think is currently pretty underdeveloped.

• When multiple zombies are in a group together and chasing a player, Iron Golem, or Villager they gain a speed buff. This buff caps out at 10 zombies in a group, where every zombie moves a bit faster than player walking speed. Baby Zombie speed caps out at the same as player sprint speed. If a single zombie gets too far away from the horde then the speed buff will decay over a few seconds as opposed to instantly dropping off.
  
• When in a horde, zombies deal increased damage to Iron Golems and can break down doors faster.
  
• When multiple zombies attack the player they will try to swarm the player, with some attempting to get behind them so they can't block with a shield as effectively.
  
• Zombies are much more likely to summon reinforcements during a New Moon.
  

This mechanic is disabled on Easy & Normal difficulty.

IC2Classics latest version is now out with a bunch of Bugfixes/QoL improvements.
These include: - Accessibility improvements with highlights in areas that were desperately needing them. - Configured support being deleted, to use Carbon Configs, IC2cs Own config system (which we plan to open source at some point), dedicated UI instead. Because configured is just a bit to limited. - Jetpack specific improvements with style & functionality. Especially elytra works just better with it. And rocket Mode is effectively a now basically a rocket launch like these animal croud launchers.

Our server is new and offers a hardcore survival experience for the most skilled Minecraft players. Every player gets 3 lives, when you run out of lives you will be banned FOREVER. However you will only lose a life when you get killed by another player. Griefing is allowed and even encouraged, only the strongest will survive. You can hide and build a base and gear up, maybe even team up ... or you can go out and kill those other players taking all their loot ... the choice is yours!
Thanks to the terraform plugin we have a jaw-dropping impressive world with unique biomes and huge trees. Also many of the minecraft structures differ from the standard ones, no more boring little villager towns, on our server they know how to build nice houses!

Hi guys! I have a problem, which is i feel like minecraft is too easy. I don't mean like I want 2nd darksouls or something, I just want cool gameplay, but there are too many easy ways to get too much "high level" stuff, like I need one villager to get completly enchanted pickaxe for a few emeralds, or i can go into big cave and in less than 10 minutes find enough Diamond ores to make full diamond set. Is there any mod/worldsetting/datapack, which changes that?

I want to find a game that i can grind out for a while with a choice on what i do and how I do it. I LOVE sky factory 3, starting with nothing and slowly going from primative to full automation, a problem i have with games with technology is a lot of them start you off with the tech or leave you primative. I also like how you have a choice on how you achieve things in the game, how you make your energy and gather your recourses. It also, like a lot of games, gives you more choices on how to go about things the more you progress. I had a lot of fun with raft, vanilla minecraft aswell as Crazy Craft 4. Obviously an interactable environment.
One thing I really like about sky factory is that everything you do almost is in your base, same with raft and i end up doing it in crazy craft too and vanilla, organizing, crafting, smelting or making a uniform mine system and building a village arouind me. I like making my base exactly to my liking. Im not a big explorer and would like a game that could have a lot of "busy work" around the base that still makes progress, although im not against checking out a game that doesnt allow exploration I would still like it. Im not a big fan of spelunking type games or dungeon explorers or i would have gotten forager. Factorio is not my type and I wish i would like stardew valley as its really well made but I feel like the only farming is repetetive and would prefer it be an aspect to a larger game. looping back into I would like different things to progress, not everythign you do is the same, I like how in MC if i want to farm for example i can or if i want to start mining for gear i can, upgrade villagers, i can. And the full customization of how i do everything I love. People hate playing games like this with me because im very particular in how I like to get things done. Autonauts was fun to play for a min too, appreciate the concept a lot but the progression stopped feeling new and more like your just remaking what you did before. I also loved ARK, playted vanilla multiplyers with a few mods and enjoyed grinding for a while to get a large prize (dino). Same concept with sky factory, you put a lot of small pieces together to make a big thing, wether it be your crafts or your speperate mods that link together.
Lastly, I want a game that will last me a while. Something that has a lot to complete, not just complete the game. In MC, you can beat the ender dragon but still have much to do. I have "Beat" Sky Factory 3 like 8 times in like 3 days each besides my first, taking slightly different aproaches and LOVED automating mystical aggriculture and the More Chickens where its kind of like a sub-plot, one task focus on and when it gets repetetive i go find something else. One thing i liked about it too is finding cool intriquite ways to do things, the mixing of mods allows this, mixing mod packs to make them more in depth then ever. I'm also a very picky person which does not help and my steam FYP is useless.
