2023.06.03 13:16 MOOOthePRO Monitor stuck at "Disconnect this display"

Hey, my problem is that my main monitor recently started to be stuck on "Disconnect this display"/"Only show on 1"/"No signal detected" when connected to my PC (GTX 980ti) via display port cable. And that without any Hardware changes or software updates (at least I didn't notice any).
The thing is this problem is only present when connecting my Monitor via a DP cable to my GPU, and that consistenly. When connecting my Laptop docking station via the same DP cable and the same DP input everything works well. GPU Driver update did not improve things.
The Hardware is verified to be working (GPU - HDMI and DP outputs, Monitor - DP and HDMI inputs, and the DP cable) and the latest drivers are installed.

My Hardware is:
Problem Monitor: XL2430T (1080p, 144Hz)
Secondary Monitor: BL2420PT (1440p, 60Hz)
GPU: GTX 980ti
Windows: 10 Home 22H2 19045.2965
GPU Driver: 535.98

2023.06.03 13:11 bobraisbored My bf(M18) ruined his relationship with his best friend (M18) to be with me(F18). He used to put in a lot of effort but 2 months have passed and he treats me more like a friend. I’ve confronted him about this multiple times and he says he will change but he doesn’t. What do I do?

I (18F) have been “dating” my bf(18M) for about 1 month now and I am completely confused.
At the beginning of my final year in high school I had a crush on 2 guys. Worst of all, they were best friends. I had no intention of pursuing either of them as I wasn’t looking for a relationship. However as some time passed my feelings grew more and more. One guy, Taylor, I had a huge crush on, but he has never been in a relationship before and has never had a proper crush on a girl before. Taylor and I always clicked; we loved talking about anything and everything and would play games like backgammon together. I always had a hint of him liking me back but completely dismissed it considering his “picky” nature when it came to the girls he liked. I forced myself to move past him and ignore my feelings.
The other guy, Alex, I had helped get over a heartbreak with his ex over the summer and we got closer. We never talked about much other than relationships. We both wanted a significant other and at some point it seemed kind of inevitable that something would happen. He was definitely flirting with me and his friends would hint at it too. I really liked him but we didn’t have much in common. One night we kissed, and afterwards he suddenly asked me if he could call me his girlfriend. I hadn’t even expected it and I felt pressured in the moment so I stupidly said yes.
The relationship moved fast. 2 weeks into dating and he introduced me formally as his girlfriend to his ENTIRE family. I’m talking parents, grandparents, aunts, childhood best friends and the pressure to stay kept piling on and on.
He kept asking if I had told my parents and I hadn’t as it was too soon, but it bothered him and I buckled and introduced him to my parents as well. Within a months time not only had I met his entire family, but he had met mine and everyone at school kept saying we were destined to get married.
I wasn’t happy. I felt pressured to stay and so I did, and I tried to make the relationship work. we had absolutely nothing in common. We had nothing to talk about and all we ever did was couples stuff such as holding hands, cuddling and having sex. It was during this time that my feelings for his best friend, Taylor, began growing deeper. The guilt accompanied by this was agonising and i felt like the biggest asshole.
Eventually, 6 months in, I couldn’t take it and ended the relationship. He didn’t take it well and I helped him though the breakup, consoling him, staying up late into the night calling him if he wasn’t feeling well. soon his friends told me I need to put distance as without it he would never move on. So I did exactly that.
I had this huge relief and felt like a pressure had been taken off my back. But my feelings for his best friend, Taylor, had grown so much over the past months that I was practically drowning in them. I had never felt this way about someone before and was the most lovesick I had ever been in my life. I neglected the feelings as I couldn’t do that to Alex.
One day however, I was studying for an exam with Taylor and he told me he had liked me and asked if I felt the same way. I told him I did.
We then talked for hours about this and came to the realisation that we had both liked each other at the beginning of the year and both of us dismissed our feelings but they only grew over the months. We talked and it felt like a relief to have my feelings out there. We didn’t pursue anything as we it was too late considering the situation with Alex and the fact that we were leaving for uni soon.
A week later Taylor told me he couldn’t take it anymore. It was obvious we liked each other and he said he couldn’t lie to Alex’s face anymore as Alex had been asking Taylor if he liked me. He asked if it was ok for him to tell Alex and as I didn’t want Alex to know, I told him it was ok with me.
When Alex found out he felt betrayed and was calling me a whore and I didn’t know how to respond. Alex and Taylor had fallen out and The guilt was killing me. Alex left school a week earlier and a whole drama escalated as Alex talked with other people at school. I was labelled a whore and the rumours about me were insane.
I never felt so shit in my life in the week that followed. But Taylor was there for me through it all. We both got really close and would stay up late into the night, talking about anything and everything. Some days, he would even wake up early in the morning and be at my house at 4am. We would sit outside, cuddling and talking until 7:00 when we had to leave for school. He would say I looked like summer and he even kept a Polaroid picture of us in his wallet. I told him I wasn’t ready to rush into anything and he said he was more than ready to respect my space. We weren’t officially together but we were essentially a thing.
A week later that he said had been in love with me for the most part of the year. He said he could wait for me as long as I needed, and that he wanted to give us a shot.
we had a one month holiday from school where we couldn’t see each other. In the beginning we would text and call. But later he seemed cold. I would reach out but his messages were dry.
At school he had really gotten cold too.He stopped texting and reaching out, he stopped showing affection in public and I felt confused. I talked to him about it and he apologised and said he hadn’t realised and said things would change. For 2 days he would be active and then he would go back to being cold again. Weeks passed and I had reached out to him multiple times. Each time the same pattern. We talk, he says he didn’t realise, he changes for 2 days, and then goes back to being cold.
In the weeks that followed I had never felt more unwanted in my life. Taylor had made up with Alex and they were back to being friends again but Alex still hated my guts. My friends had different opinions on it. One said that Taylor cared for me and that he simply didn’t know how to act in a relationship. Some of my friends didn’t like the way he treated me and told me I deserved better.
We’ve graduated from high school and I’ve never been more confused He never really opens up to me, and it’s a constant on and off. 90% of the time he’s cold. And only in the 10% does he show affection and care. I’m back home now with my parents and for the past week it has only been me who is reaching out, and when I do he replies 12-24 hours later. He is known to be a shitty texter but I feel like this is more than that.
I care about him so much and everyone keeps telling me that he does too but I don’t know what to do at this point. I feel so unwanted and unloved and I can’t take it anymore but at the same point he means so much to me that I’m not willing to let it go. I’ve already told him exactly what I’ve written here and he said things would change but they haven’t and I can’t go talk to him about this for the 4th time as I don’t want to be overbearing.

2023.06.03 13:08 Playful-Ad6687 Looking for Marijuana Penny stocks? 3 Tips to consider

3 Tips to Use to Find Marijuana Penny Stocks

Understand Penny Stocks as a Whole

Penny stocks are intriguing investment opportunities that have garnered significant attention from investors worldwide. They represent shares in small companies and typically trade for less than $5 per share. One of the attractive features of penny stocks is their affordability, making them accessible to a broad range of investors. They offer an entry point to the stock market that doesn’t necessitate a substantial financial commitment, thereby opening the doors of investing to individuals who may otherwise feel barred by high-priced shares.
One of the intriguing aspects of penny stocks is their potential for substantial growth. As these stocks often belong to small or emerging companies, they have a great potential for growth, especially if the company is poised for success or is operating in an expanding industry. This presents an opportunity for investors to get in on the ground floor and benefit from the company’s growth and success.
Additionally, the broad spectrum of industries and sectors that penny stocks encompass allows for greater diversification within an investment portfolio. From technology to healthcare, energy to consumer goods, and indeed the burgeoning cannabis industry, penny stocks provide a way for investors to explore diverse sectors without a heavy financial burden.
Finally, trading penny stocks can be an excellent way for novice investors to learn about the market, stock analysis, and trading strategies without risking large sums of money. The experience gained from investing in penny stocks can provide valuable insights that can be applied to other aspects of personal finance and investing. While the journey of investing in penny stocks can be an exciting adventure, it should always be approached with a keen mind, robust research, and the willingness to continually learn.

Identify Marijuana Stocks With Growth Patterns or Innovation

Identifying marijuana penny stocks with strong growth patterns or innovation is crucial in order to maximize your investment. One key to this is focusing on companies that are setting themselves apart in the expanding cannabis market, either through innovative products, services, or business strategies.
Looking for companies that display consistent growth in their revenue or customer base is a good starting point. Consistent growth patterns can indicate that a company is effectively meeting market demands, expanding its operations, or entering new markets – all positive signs for potential investors.
Innovation is another essential factor to consider when selecting marijuana penny stocks. The cannabis industry is a rapidly evolving sector that constantly demands innovative solutions. Companies that demonstrate an ability to innovate, whether through unique product offerings, technological advancements, or novel business models, are likely to gain a competitive edge. For instance, companies might excel in areas such as cannabis-infused beverages, edibles, medical marijuana applications, or eco-friendly cultivation methods.
Furthermore, the marijuana industry is subject to regulatory changes that can have significant impacts on the market. Thus, companies that show agility and adaptability in the face of these changing regulations are likely to fare better in the long run. This might involve entering new markets as they become legalized, or rapidly adjusting their business models to comply with updated laws.
Keep in mind that, like any form of investing, choosing the right marijuana penny stocks involve thorough research and careful consideration. It is necessary to review the company’s financials, assess market trends, and keep abreast of industry developments to make informed decisions. Nonetheless, with the right approach and diligence, investing in marijuana penny stocks with growth patterns and innovative strategies can offer significant returns.

Keep an Eye on Marijuana Industry Trends

Staying informed about trends within the marijuana industry is crucial when investing in marijuana penny stocks. This industry is dynamic and fast-paced, with regulatory landscapes, consumer habits, and scientific discoveries continually shaping and reshaping its course. Therefore, keeping a close eye on these developments can significantly influence your investment decisions and potential returns.
Regulatory changes are a significant driver of industry trends. As more jurisdictions move towards the legalization of medical and recreational cannabis, new markets are opening up. Observing these legal shifts can help identify companies that are well-positioned to expand into these newly opened markets, potentially leading to substantial growth.
Consumer trends are another critical factor to consider. As the cannabis market matures, consumer preferences are shifting and becoming more sophisticated. Products such as edibles, topicals, and wellness products are gaining popularity. Companies that are at the forefront of these trends and cater to changing consumer demands may present an enticing investment opportunity.
Scientific research also plays a vital role in shaping the industry. As we learn more about the potential benefits and applications of cannabis and cannabinoids, companies that align themselves with this research and incorporate it into their product offerings could stand to gain significantly.
In addition, technological advancements are revolutionizing the industry, from cultivation methods to delivery systems. Keeping an eye on companies that embrace these technologies can identify potential leaders in the space.

Hello everyone,
To begin, sorry for my English
Today I would like to present to you a personal project (my first) on which I have been working for several months.I am a novice on the Blender software and I sought with this project to improve myself and to create my first real challenge. It took me nearly 3 months and a good dozen prototypes before arriving at this result. My goal now is to completely finish this project (The Great Wave) before starting others (example: solar system, planet by planet with customized caseback and dial).
The elements that I had to buy because it was impossible for me to print are:- the mechanism => Hattori/Seiko PC21 (8€)- the mineral glass => 35.9mm (4.20€) - the hands => 1.20mm & 0.70mm (5.60)- the strap => 18mm silicone strap (12€)So for a little less than 30€, I have the non-printable elements allowing me to make a custom watch. (I took all of these elements on the French site: my-montre.com - But I know that you can easily find even cheaper for the same).
I'm really into Opensource and sharing. Everything I do (digitally) I make an edit/simplify copy that I share without restriction. So if you are interested, you will find below the download link for all the files (excluding markings on the caseback, otherwise my watch will no longer be a limited edition: P)Link => Wait to share this (18h in France to wait max ).

I need your opinion if possible... We can see that the dial is not very clean. It's because I haven't finished it yet. To finish it I need to know what color to add in the waves (in the hollow waves) so that it looks good. Ideas ? Thanks in advance for your feedback (I share a link to an xcf file - GIMP - easy to change the blue color => https://drive.proton.me/urls/9EEJANZWHW#8apk9u3eRkMc).

Do not hesitate to ask me questions, I will try to answer them.

2023.06.03 13:04 Lordie-San Is reverse boosting the only way to avoid frustation on ranked?

I am a fairly avg player that used to stay around 950-1000, been playing for quite a while (I started with the conquerors playing on hamachi back in 2010-2011), with long breaks in the middle.
I have managed to stay on 1020, at this stage the game for me personally become a literal sweatfest, with people throwing everything they could, drushes, maa perfect micro players with 100 hotkeys, doing perfect tower rushes, pure feudal play with over 20 maa (I seen this once and i ragequit so badly), performing some stuff i didnt even see before (Like the guy who sneaked vills somehow into a spot that i exactly didnt scout and in no time spammed like 20 crossbows after a fast castle), plus managed to wall off my 2nd gold somehow. I am talking about 1v1 games, team games are just 50% my ally afk and i report them for "afk" after the game ends, 50% the enemy team decide to go around trolling or smth by suiciding their vills on my TC (Happened on around 1K ELO).
This has lead me to just artificially lower down my elo to around 700 to actually enjoy and play chill, i play just for fun not for winning hard. I been literally throwing 1v1 games and messing around on purpose so i can lower down my elo, instead of smurfing which i also saw a lot, i just did it naturally. I know i will get back to like 900 in no time, but i try to specifically avoid that.
And yes, i have tried to play on normal lobby games, but 9 out of 10 the lobbies that says noobs only are full of players around 1,4K elo, so basically this lobbies are noob killers, and the rest of the lobbies are just too unbalanced, with teams as extreme as 1 guy on a 3v3 carrying the entire team against 2 avg players and a sim city player.
I see old posts about 1K elo being the avg, it feels like that has changed this few couple of years and that info is kinda outdated. If you have over 5 hotkeys that you actively use, micro decently, wall off, and use meta strategies, u are already above avg in my eyes. So closest to avg i been on is 800, and i felt like i can play calm and even sometimes just chill while doing stuff slow. The 1K has caused me to ragequit much much harder and rage much worse than in fighting games.
Any other way to comfortably play ranked without having to lose 5 games in a row to decrease elo? Because so far i only thought i would reverse boost in MW2, and no other game until now.

2023.06.03 12:58 Former-Wrap-7273 Is there a problem with me?

All year I've been reminded that I'm replaceable and unwanted.
Before the end of last year, I got betrayed by someone i thought was gonna be my ride or die. He had confidently said he will support me in a school election where we need to have a partner as he knew I could not find anyone. I trusted implicitedly after questioning him to the point of slight irritation. He then ditched me suddenly for a better position close to voting week. He cited a reason being we're both too hard headed because we argued over sending our images as part of introductory messages to the members during the elections. He didnt want to send picutres, but to me its ridiculous cos i have never seen people running for elections tryung to hide their faces. Even then I seeked for a compromise to send a picture of us together instead of individual ones. After the betrayal, he did not even apologise, but tried to explain how its not the rivals fault (because he was friends with the rival and he thought I believed that the rival tried to set me up, a conclusion that I never came to my mind) and made excuses for himself. It felt like he was protecting thebother friend more than me as he clarified that the rival was not involved instead of just apologising. I was mad that he took away my options for partners by being so confident, then taking them away again by selfishly dropping out when I relied on him the most. He received no backlash throughout as all our mutual friends thought I kicked him out instead (making me the villian). He then tried to find a replacemebt, but when I contacted the replacement, he was turned down the offer after being on the fence. Essentially, the replacement was just his escape route. This year, he hangs with new friends instead, only coming to me if he has no one with him, while making no effort to regain my trust.
At the start of this year I held a deputy role for someone in an organisation. I was promised an equal partnership so I placed a lot of faith in him, but I soon realised he tends to tank a lot of the work himself. Initially, he joked that we do not work well together, before fully using it as his reason for leaving me out of meetings, discussions and decision making for the rest of the year. The shift started after I made the mistake of giving my opinion the one time he did not ask for it when he did not ask, in a conversation thread where he asked for my opinions twice directly before. I declined to give my opinions after the event to avoid worsening the situation before we talked things out. However, I've been rejected a few times after initiating. Throughout the rest of the year he kept coming up with reasons why I wasnt adequate e.g. "I feel uncomfortable joking with you", "I feel you're too controlling" etc. I kept stepping back after each feedback e.g. stop making jokes, stop giving my opinions, to avoid detoriating the relationship further. However, his image of me did not change. He moved on to more excuses, inviting his significant other to discuss work stuff instead of me, leaving me out of discussions only to update me after, asking me for any suggestions only to then fiercely defending his ideas (basically asking me for suggestions is just for show). Things come to a boiling point when he threatened to leave after I initiated a talk a third time. His reasoning was because I invited the organisation head as the moderator and he felt he would be interrogated by us. After that, he fully discussed work plans with his friends instead of me, suggesting we split projects to avoid discussing altogether, and finally dropping the bombshell which is that he feels uncomfortable discussing with me and only me while he is fine with everyone else. This impacted my self esteemed a little because it felt like i was the problem, although logically I have been making all concessions to him. This also made me unable to function as the department's second in charge, because all projects go to him as the head and I cant do anything without him delegating things to me via discussions. The wording is another issue as it implies sexual harrassment especially in this social climate.
After fully isolating me, he went on to be praised as the organisation's best member, the team cannot live without him etc. It felt like he sacrificed me to make it look lile he contributed the most. It really stung when he got close to my friends after he threatened me and my friends know about the event too. Remember the first guy? Yup, he is now the closest person to him. Can you believe it?
Towards the end of the year I tried to put our differences aside and help my dept organise a birthday party for him in secret while he wanted me to write thank you cards to the dept. As I needed more time since im focused on organising his birthday party, I asked if there are other dates we can give the farewell cards. He just casually suggested we split our gifts even though we are partners on paper. It felt like a slap to the face, especially after a year of implying he wanted his friends instead of me and constantly keeping me out of the loop for projects. I started to wonder why am I doing his bday party.
How do I move on from such people? Am I the problem here?

2023.06.03 12:55 Desperate-Kangaroo-4 Can't install plugin

Hi! Trying to get my AC to HomeKit through XiaomiIR. I managed to get AC into MiHome, but also want to see it in Home app. So, I already tried last year Homebridge Mi Remote plugin and different version of that without any success. This time I decided to give it a try again. But now I can't even make it running. First, I am getting this error: "ERROR LOADING PLUGIN homebridge-mi-remote:
Error: Cannot find module 'miio'".
Tried to install Miio, but in terminal it is mentioned that "This is a restricted shell, sudo and npm cannot be used here." Plus over that, it seemed that npm even not installed, however js is v18.16.0. Tried to change to main user via su, managed to find that npm version 9.5.1, but can run "sudo npm install -g miio". "sudo: npm: command not found". Running without sudo getting errors that permission denied, mkdir. I am not frequent user of Linux systems + I worked with my system around year ago so I might forgot some arrangement of users/package I installed in the past. Anybody can give me direction where to start working from, since I really confused right now.

2023.06.03 12:53 Ok-Distribution5265 Taylor 814ce string gauge?

Hey everyone! I’ve been playing my new Taylor 814ce (grand auditorium) v-class non stop since buying about a month ago. I’ve been experimenting a lot with string materials but was also wondering about string gauge. Currently I use 12-53 but was wondering if anyone has tried highelower gauge on their guitar and how they feel it affected tone and playability for their specific instrument?
On another note I’m assuming I can try 13s on a GA v-class body without any issues aside from the usual setup changes that might be needed.
Thanks!

DWC root advice needed
So I just checked my root zone and discovered some grey/brown sludge on my roots, I just gave my whole system a full clean with hydrogen peroxide and complete solution change the other day. No smell from roots so I'm not thinking root rot just yet. Reservoir temp is 21.5⁰C, pH - 5.8, EC - 1.3 and TDS ~500. All within "safe" levels for the stage of growth. Is it possible this is just some plant waste that has accumulated on the roots?

2023.06.03 12:48 Alliejam1 ACIM WORKBOOK LESSON 154

LESSON 154. I am among the ministers of God.
Let us today be neither arrogant nor falsely humble. We have gone beyond such foolishness. We cannot judge ourselves, nor need we do so. These are but attempts to hold decision off, and to delay commitment to our function. It is not our part to judge our worth, nor can we know what role is best for us; what we can do within a larger plan we cannot see in its entirety. Our part is cast in Heaven, not in hell. And what we think is weakness can be strength; what we believe to be our strength is often arrogance. Whatever your appointed role may be, it was selected by the Voice for God, Whose function is to speak for you as well. Seeing your strengths exactly as they are, and equally aware of where they can be best applied, for what, to whom and when, He chooses and accepts your part for you. He does not work without your own consent. But He is not deceived in what you are, and listens only to His Voice in you.
It is through His ability to hear one Voice which is His Own that you become aware at last there is one Voice in you. And that one Voice appoints your function, and relays it to you, giving you the strength to understand it, do what it entails, and to succeed in everything you do that is related to it. God has joined His Son in this, and thus His Son becomes His messenger of unity with Him.
It is this joining, through the Voice for God, of Father and of Son, that sets apart salvation from the world. It is this Voice which speaks of laws the world does not obey; which promises salvation from all sin, with guilt abolished in the mind that God created sinless. Now this mind becomes aware again of Who created it, and of His lasting union with itself. So is its Self the one reality in which its will and that of God are joined.
A messenger is not the one who writes the message he delivers. Nor does he question the right of him who does, nor ask why he has chosen those who will receive the message that he brings. It is enough that he accept it, give it to the ones for whom it is intended, and fulfill his role in its delivery. If he determines what the messages should be, or what their purpose is, or where they should be carried, he is failing to perform his proper part as bringer of the Word.
There is one major difference in the role of Heaven’s messengers, which sets them off from those the world appoints. The messages that they deliver are intended first for them. And it is only as they can accept them for themselves that they become able to bring them further, and to give them everywhere that they were meant to be. Like earthly messengers, they did not write the messages they bear, but they become their first receivers in the truest sense, receiving to prepare themselves to give.
An earthly messenger fulfills his role by giving all his messages away. The messengers of God perform their part by their acceptance of His messages as for themselves, and show they understand the messages by giving them away. They choose no roles that are not given them by His authority. And so they gain by every message that they give away.
Would you receive the messages of God? For thus do you become His messenger. You are appointed now. And yet you wait to give the messages you have received. And so you do not know that they are yours, and do not recognize them. No one can receive and understand he has received until he gives. For in the giving is his own acceptance of what he received.
You who are now the messenger of God, receive His messages. For that is part of your appointed role. God has not failed to offer what you need, nor has it been left unaccepted. Yet another part of your appointed task is yet to be accomplished. He Who has received for you the messages of God would have them be received by you as well. For thus do you identify with Him and claim your own.
It is this joining that we undertake to recognize today. We will not seek to keep our minds apart from Him Who speaks for us, for it is but our voice we hear as we attend Him. He alone can speak to us and for us, joining in one Voice the getting and the giving of God’s Word; the giving and receiving of His Will.
We practice giving Him what He would have, that we may recognize His gifts to us. He needs our voice that He may speak through us. He needs our hands to hold His messages, and carry them to those whom He appoints. He needs our feet to bring us where He wills, that those who wait in misery may be at last delivered. And He needs our will united with His Own, that we may be the true receivers of the gifts He gives.
Let us but learn this lesson for today: We will not recognize what we receive until we give it. You have heard this said a hundred ways, a hundred times, and yet belief is lacking still. But this is sure; until belief is given it, you will receive a thousand miracles and then receive a thousand more, but will not know that God Himself has left no gift beyond what you already have; nor has denied the tiniest of blessings to His Son. What can this mean to you, until you have identified with Him and with His Own?
Our lesson for today is stated thus:
I am among the ministers of God, and I am grateful that I have the means by which to recognize that I am free.
The world recedes as we light up our minds, and realize these holy words are true. They are the message sent to us today from our Creator. Now we demonstrate how they have changed our minds about ourselves, and what our function is. For as we prove that we accept no will we do not share, our many gifts from our Creator will spring to our sight and leap into our hands, and we will recognize what we received.

2023.06.03 12:46 Aradhor55 Problem with the change of my oil filter

Hello
First of all I'm not english. I'll try to make this accurat but some words could be different in my language and I don't really know what to use instead. Sorry for that.
So, I got a Dacia Sandero from 2016. Since I'm not driving much, it only got 15 000 km since. I never did maintenance before with it but it was becoming necessary (even without driving much) and I need to do 700 km next week. Everything went okay except for the oil filter. They said they couldn't change it since the... dome ? I don't know, the thing protecting it is too tight and they can't remove it without risking to break it. They did the oil change and told me to go to my seller. They said they can do that, open it, put the new filter and replace if it breaks, but my appointment is at the end of july.
I still need to drive 700 km next week. So is it safe to drive like that ? I mean I know the new oil will be dirty because of the filtrer but... Is there any real risk ?
Thanks !

2023.06.03 12:45 suknadixem96 UPDATE: My dad was drunk and my stepmom packed up and left for good, where do i go?

OG POST: here
Hello everyone :), this is the last update i have to share and it’s good, i swear. I’ve permanently left my dads house with my cat and we have both settled in nicely with my boyfriend and his family. I picked up all of my belongings today, and told him my dad why i was leaving. He tried his hardest to guilt trip me into staying but i shrugged at him and left, his birthday is tomorrow and thats when I’m returning to grab the rest of my belongings. He’s completely and utterly broken, it sounds cruel but because of him my entire body is scarred, my mind is ruined and my cat is traumatized. I regret not having the strength to leave sooner, but I had to wait for him to become nonviolent. I hit him while he was down, i held a lot of guilt within me for that. I considered going back if he apologized or swore to change, but in the end he didn’t hug me, he didn’t tell me he loved me, he didn’t apologize, not even a goodbye. I actually uncovered some texts between him and my old stepmom, he explained he put her above all of his kids and he was glad i was moving out soon so they could have their own family. Seeing that made me glad i left. Things are great over here, i have a job all lined up and i can start recovering and building up savings for graduation next year. This communities advice helped me tremendously, i likely would’ve made a horrible mistake without the push from so many people. His kids have all been removed from him, i luckily didn’t need to call cps or get authorities involved. My cat is doing a good job getting used to his new environment, he’s been braver than ever and I’m so, so proud of him. I’ll post a picture of him in the comments, thank you all again :)

Why does my drinking Bud Light offend you?
May 30, 2023 4:39 pm • Last Updated: May 30, 2023 4:41 pm
By Mike DiMauro
Day Assistant Sports Editor
[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])
News item: Anthony Bass, a pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays, shared a video Monday via Instagram endorsing an anti-LGBTQ boycott of brands such as Target and Bud Light.

"Here's the reason biblically why I believe Christians have gotta be boycotting Target, Bud Light, and any other corporation that's pushing the things they're pushing,” Bass said. “I think a lot of people make this into a political issue, or they say, 'Oh, what's the big deal?’

“This is evil, this is demonic, we won't stand for it, we're not going to go to the stores anymore and we're not going to give you our money.”

It would be impolite to wish that Mr. Bass, who throws a ball for a living, blows out his elbow. Perhaps then he could simply blow it out his tailpipe.

Because I’ve grown tired of sanctimonious and hypocritical moral outrage over what Target and Bud Light are “pushing,” while it’s permissible that Bass and his ilk get to “push” their beliefs on the rest of us.

Example: In the last two months or so, I’ve been questioned a half dozen times in public as to why I’m drinking Bud Light. Seems people like Bass have objected to Anheuser Busch’s marketing partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Their boycott of Bud Light has led to a decrease in sales both locally and nationally. (Local bar and restaurant owners say Bud Light sales are down almost 30 percent.)

It is their right, of course, to boycott the product. I’m just curious as to why what I’m drinking is their business. I drink Bud Light because I like it. And I’m still drinking Bud Light because I will not marginalize people based on gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. I’m respectful enough to support someone else’s desire to evolve into another gender. And I’m not stupid enough to believe that my decision to drink Bud Light changes who I am or what I stand for in any possible way.

But I wonder why it’s so important for people — and the questions to me haven’t all come from men — to announce their disdain for a bottle of beer, tacitly implying their sexuality is “normal.” Remember this one and write it down: If you are truly comfortable with who you are, you needn’t announce anything to anyone.

And yet to further illustrate how screwed up this country really is, there’s this: Anheuser-Busch hasn’t merely been accused of alienating its traditional customer base with the partnership, but some LGBTQ+ campaigners have also criticized the company for not defending its ties with Mulvaney.

Amid all the finger-pointing and fear-fanning, the truth hides in the corner, too scared to emerge. The truth is that we are supposed to think critically, weigh evidence from both sides and then make up our own minds. Instead, we’ve become a country hell bent on legislating whatever cause we think is right and just, while burying the other side from all consideration.

It’s political tribalism. All or nothing. One side or the other. If you’re not in agreement with every morsel of the transgender movement, you are a snarling, hating, infidel. If you’re not in total agreement with Anthony Bass and his beliefs, you’re going to wither in hell.

But what if — and hold on to your ascots here — two conflicting positions can still be true? Example: What if I support Bud Light’s decision to use a transgender influencer, but also believe that transgender high school athletes belong in their own division?

I disagree with the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference’s policy complying with a state law that requires all high school students be treated according to their gender identity. We should consider a sports-centric law that acknowledges sports' unique challenges and accommodates the physical component for success that exists virtually nowhere else in society.

Sex discrimination in education, health care, housing and financial credit have no place in this country. But we must — must — realize and accept that sports require a physical component to succeed that calls for different guidelines.

Put it this way: Applying to a school or for health care, housing or financial credit requires no physical component to succeed. Sports require speed, strength and agility and do not fit under the same umbrella. And yet sports are routinely shoved into the same arguments about unfair treatment. Injustices get piled on for rhetorical usefulness, even though they're not applicable.

The male born composition has inherent physical advantages, rare exceptions noted. But in the aggregate, there are physiologic differences between biological males and females. I don’t believe writing that makes me transphobic. We should respect a person’s pronoun of choice. But that doesn't mean we have to blindly agree with claims that are not supported by science.

Yet that appears to be the new end game in this country. Blind agreement. Their side or yours. And here I sit, sipping my Bud Light, trying to figure out why so many of us act like the last three letters of Anthony Bass’ last name.

This is the opinion of Day sports columnist Mike DiMauro

This article pretty much sums up exactly how I feel about the situation. Bud Light basically sent someone a can with her image celebrating a milestone. The fact it turned the beer into enemy number one doesn’t surprise me considering the vitriol that has become commonplace in our country. I have had plenty of private messages regarding a video I posted supporting a beer, and more importantly a human being. Most have been vehemently against my support of both and relish the chance to send me a screen shot of Bud Lights stock on a daily basis with a “Go woke, Go broke” ending. I believe much of the vitriol comes from news and talk radio which is why Spotify now fills my vehicle with music instead of talk. I ask everyone to limit their news intake to 30 minutes per day regardless of your party affiliation to center your life. Sometimes my radio will land on a “news station”, and I can feel my blood pressure rise as the most divisive topic of the day is being discussed with a majority of the facts not being considered. I am not recommending folks to ignore what’s happening in our world, but would point out that our country has survived many decades without the need for “up to the second” news reports. Most of the things we worry about will never happen and it seems our country is living in a constant state of fear which is certainly to blame for the vitriol. There will never be a point where everyone in the country will collectively say we are all happy with everything, but I still have a deep believe that with constructive conversations and true empathy we can get us close. When I get my boat in the water I would love to have an ice cold Bud Light while listening to my relaxing boat playlist, and of course talking with my favorite sports writer. That’s an invitation Mike. Great article.

“Bud Light sales are down between 26% and 35% nationwide additionally Budweiser and other AB brands (Michelob Ultra, Busch Light and Natural Light to name a few) have also taken a hit of around 11%.”

All the more reason to explain what set this off. Completely unhinged.

“My take, buy Coors stock now”
And that statement reinforces my point since Coors has been a decades long supporter of LGBT rights probably the biggest supporter (it all began with a workegay alliance boycott ironically… or not)
“Coors Light has been a sponsor of The Center and Denver PrideFest for decades,” says Rex Fuller, CEO of The Center on Colfax. “The work we have been able to do at The Center over the last four decades would not be possible without this support and we are grateful for it.”
Beyond supporting Denver PrideFest, Molson Coors has a distinguished history of supporting LGBTQ communities across the country, with significant support for organizations such as Human Rights Campaign (HRC), Matthew Shepard Foundation, National Amateur Gay Athletics Association of America, National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, LGBT Victory Institute, Out & Equal, and One Colorado.
In addition to these partners, Molson Coors works with local LGBTQ organizations in key communities through its Tap Into Change program. Annually, the summer program donates more than $100,000 to these organizations with a consistent growth in impact each year. Events take place in each city to help raise additional funds, awareness, and support for the missions of these local organizations. Over the past 10 years, Tap Into Change has raised nearly $600,000 for local LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS nonprofits.

This is even though like 2006, 2010 and 2014 they had to go through boycotts for this. And they did shrink back in response, but also came right back and didn’t move backwards for long.

And what will I do?
Continue drinking Corona because I drink what I drink.
It’s damn near impossible to do a successful boycott long term. The web of corporate connections means when you think you’re hurting one, it’s actually benefitting another one connected to it.
The beverage brand that owns Budweiser, Corona, and Stella Artois, is suing US beer-maker Constellation Brands for using the Corona brand name in a hard seltzer, according to a lawsuit filed Monday.

Beverage giant Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) acquired Corona’s parent company, Grupo Modelo, in 2013, but US antitrust regulators required it to sell the company’s US-based business to Constellation. AB InBev retained rights to the products in other markets, and the deal gave Constellation the rights to produce Corona and other Modelo brands in the US.

Robin- not certain this article nor all the comments will move the needle. Bud Light sales are down between 26% and 35% nationwide additionally Budweiser and other AB brands (Michelob Ultra, Busch Light and Natural Light to name a few) have also taken a hit of around 11%. Bud Light has been the best selling beer in the USA for over 20 years and the normal volume of sales is 27 million barrels a year or 1134 million gallons. A 30% drop equals a loss of 340 million gallons a year. My take, buy Coors stock now

Do people realize that Bud Light sent a pack of specially made cans with the person’s face on it and did a minute long or so bit released on like TicTok? It wasn’t some big nationwide PR campaign yet it rubbed someone the wrong way (or so they would like us to think) and it snowballed into this.

I don’t ever want to hear about people calling “the libs” snowflakes or use their center liberal stances as a weakness. These champions of “conservatives” are gullible whiny babies.

I watched in real time a bunch of idiots blow something up out of nothing and then saw them flocking to the internet people with their influencer pages and podcasts and publications where immediately they were being hawked “anti-woke” beer and all these other wares, often made by the same places they are boycotting for double the price.
There is a whole market opening up to people that will only get their businesses off the ground (temporarily for a quick cash grab) by using these outrage tactics and capitalizing (literally) on impaired brains that as Mr. DiMauro correctly observed “Blind agreement. Their side or yours”
Bless your little void of empathy and common sense hearts. Don’t spend all your money in one place now, spread the wealth to these people selling you overpriced junk.

For me… Bud Light as a “beer” sucks. I would rather support local breweries that provide far better beers. As far as this column… as far as AB selecting this influencer in their campaign I have no opinion on it or that person. Up to each to decide for themselves.

Regarding this column actually Mike what you are writing is basically the same as the boycott and the changes in attitudes (political divide) of the country. Often used by politicians on BOTH sides of the aisle screaming to be open, defending one´s right to choose, freedom of speech etc.. and this is the most important part..”unless it does not validate their opinion or view”. This is exactly what you are writing. So if someone elects to boycott something and we know the WOKE police and Leftists enjoy not only condemning opposing viewpoints to the point of boycotting, attacking employers for the “views” of their employees etc… and demanding they be removed from the position their are in. So if someone boycotts something let them… I would ask you… why does it offend you that others are using their constitutional right by boycotting (freedom of speech). I always respect other´s opinions and even when we do not agree. Sadly we live in a world where people are afraid to speak up due to the potential ramifications. None of us will always agree and I know the powers to be are trying to “force” us to all be uniform in our opinions which is sad. And btw Bud Light is terrible anyway… How about you focus on sports.

Good column Mike. These anti “woke” zealots claim to support democracy but would be no different from the Taliban if they had their way.

All this talk of beer makes me thirsty…but I have found that drinking beer has become an unwelcome undertaking. No beer allowed at the beach, nor while night fishing in Waterford, nor surf fishing at Avery Point, nor at any state boat launch, nor is state parks- try walking down the street with a cold one….

IMO The left loves their cancel culture but gets all grumpy when the right does the same. Hey it can go both ways. That said I really don’t care about the Bud thing. Its not like they sold beer with its face on it.

Matther TookerMay 31, 2023 at 07:35Report
Thoughtful piece as always Mike. Perhaps the best offset for the 30% decrease in Bud Light sales would be a 30% increase in church attendance. I am betting that won’t happen. (Matt Tooker)

2023.06.03 12:42 Candescent_Cascade Armies in 10th: Evaluating our choices after the reveals...

So, after having seen all of last night's reveals I want to try and take an overall perspective on it to speculate what we may be running in 10th. Obviously, without points values (and with some units missing) this is going to be imperfect, but I think we can still make some assumptions.
1) Vypers, War Walkers, and Support Weapons all look pretty good - especially run as single model units to leverage Unparalleled Foresight. The changes to list creation means they won't be competing with other options for slots.
2) We'll probably want one of each Farseer, which will mean a Windrider Squad and probably a Guardian Defender squad as their bodyguards. These choices don't look very exciting but may well be the common core of our lists.
3) With the loss of exarch powers, Aspect Warriors are seeming much weaker than they were before. (They're perhaps similar to Aspect Warrior squads without exarch powers, but we never took those!) We'll probably still take them, but trading up will be harder as they're still squishy but much less lethal. Spiders bring a lot of mobility at least.
4) Rangers and Scorpions both have Infiltration and I can see a place for a squad of each to help establish board control. They'll both die to a stiff breeze though.
5) Our tanks are very squishy, although less squishy than our infantry. Hopefully the move to twin-linked on Wave Serpents means they'll be fairly cheap. Fire Prisms have a lot of damage and I can see some people building around them, but a lot of armies will be able to neutralize them fairly trivially unless we have excellent screening.
I also really want to see what Harlequins look like.
I think overall we're looking like we'll be strong at Tactical Missions and should score well, but I'm concerned we'll come off poorly in a lot of trades.

2023.06.03 12:39 matrium0 My unfortunate first-time AMD experience

After a lot of research and much consideration I pulled the trigger on an AMD 6700 XT, feeling good about it.
I was stoked when it arrived and used DDU driver uninstaller to clean everything from safe boot and after the shutdown I switched the cards.
So far so good, now I just had to install the drivers. Sadly the installation aborted with an error and after restart everything was black. Couldn't even reach the boot menu, so I switched back cards and did the whole thing again. So 30 minutes in I started the installation again and this time it worked! I didn't change anything or downloaded another driver. It was literally the same installation file. This already left a bad taste in my mouth, I expect a deterministic outcome when I run the same installer twice..
So finally i had graphics and was happy. Now I just wanted to switch from my monitor to my TV, because 99% of the time I am using my PC from the couch, with wireless mouse/keyboard.
The TV just stayed black. I tried multiple things without success and then I read somewhere that this is a known issue with AMD graphics cards. They sometimes don't play well with TVs over HDMi apparently.
Given, my setup might be a bit unusual, but the whole experience was just so TERRIBLE. I am no expert, though comfortable fiddling with drivers and hardware. A "normal" user would have given up much faster probably.
I am returning the card and getting the Intel Arc A 750 instead. Since I absolutely do not want to support NVIDIA in any way right now and AMD just seems to not work well with my setup, I see no other way. Heavily considered the Intel card in the first place, so it's ok ;)
Just venting - sorry ;)

2023.06.03 12:38 teensyghost Hardcore Run + General First Impressions: (i hate the scroll of death evasion !!!!!!)

I love the game so far. My first playthrough is hardcore which hasn't been quite as fun as I was hoping. I'm very nitpicky on the handful of things that really bug me about the game, but the game is otherwise so fun, 9/10, wonderful, I'm going to put 1000 hours in and get my moneys worth with this one.

Hardcore:

LOWER THE DROP RATE OF THE DEATH EVASION ELIXIR. PLEASE. PLEEEASSE. It's honestly belittling and annoying as hell to see 4 or 5 drop at a time in a single group or during an event while going through the game. Honest? You can't even make it until Scosglen, so why the hell did I learn it at level 2? Why do so many drop? It's in my face all the time that I'm playing hardcore, but am I really? Here's two different methods of avoiding it, there you go.

Art:

Flawless. Act 2 is so, so beautiful. The bloodied wolf scene in tristram was my first real 'wow' moment in the beta and it still made me so happy in the real game. The druid intertwined with the tree was a gorgeous sight, however, a small explanation of such a stunning set area would have been nice. The blood vane, the crimson path? Breathtaking. I love the theme. I love the aesthetic of Lilith's corruption throughout the game. The environments are stunning.

Story:

First thing, In this game they do even worse with one thing than diablo 3 occassionally did; long dialogue where I'm standing around listening to long, dramatic voice acting. First? The dying soldier that warns you of lilith in the beginning of the game? 'Vigo, metal does not harm her, spells do not affect her' (I'm paragraphasing, but that guy) Is so obnoxiously annoying. But, the actor did a great job! But you have to set it correctly. If you want dramatic moments like that, force me into a mini cutscene or let me continue on in someway. It breaks the pacing. Same thing happens all the time where I'll stop and think, 'Wow, they really could've thrown a mob in right here to give me something to do and not hyperfocus on the weird sounds this actor is making'. The in-game models are doing next to nothing, so it starts to feel like the voice actor talking in my ear, not a full character. It's very immersion breaking. When you save Petr's son, I get the same feeling.
There are so, so many moments through the story where two people are talking and I couldn't give less of a fuck cause nothing is actually happening on my screen. Donan and Yorin when you first meet them? Bro I'm here and waiting. I'm just hearing voices, and they're usually unnecessarily dragging out their (dying breaths). No one gets that cool, long final words monologue until I care about them, like the>! tree-attaached druid.!< I didn't mind quite as much because the set was beautiful to look at, and>! I actually cared about his dog. Not him, but his dog!<.
Scenes like Donan in the keep taking his time to drag the bodies into a neat row, or the mini cutscene where you first met Neyrelle's mom and she attacks her actually work pretty well, and I just wish all of the dramatic voice acting could have mini cinematics like that or a few mobs for me to occupy myself. Let me follow the dog around a pretty area to look at. Let the characters talk and chat in my ear about their thoughts or whats happening as I walk through the mining shafts in the first act. Either talk as you walk, make me cinematic, or give me something to kill.
Second thing, is the plot of the first act. I don't enjoy the incentives I'm given. I am here to kill demons, yes, and Diablo has always been a battle of good and evil, yes, but I am not slaying demons to be a saint I am doing it for fun and coin. Why the hell am I signing up for a holy mission? When Lorath asks me 'What are you going to do about (your connection with Lilith)?' when you first meet him? I hated the response. 'Ah yes, I'm going to start a holy pilgrimage and dedicate a lot of blood and sweat into figuring out what she wants for the people, and then kill her and everything inbetween, including massive demons' just did not check out for me. I guess that's because we don't know anything about our characters, whereas in D3 we're said to be noteworthy adventurers seeking this kinda thing out, and in d2 we're repeatedly praised for our helpfulness as a random adventurer that doesn't need to be doing in this. But I really felt like killing all>! of the townsfolk that drugged us ! I was not sold in act one that Lilith was awful through my many playthroughs. Her corruption of the initial town was cool and super aesthetic. They killed a priest together that was super mean to them! We dislike Inarius cause he's an asshole! I think Act 1 just feels really weird compared to act 2. I'm here serving the church of light, basically. In act 2, we see direct consequences from Lilith's cruelty that I actually want to prevent, regularly. In act 1? Idk wtf Lilith even wants. Maybe she wants to hook up with Inarius again, idfk. Maybe she's vibing.
The conversation with Lorath didn't feel incentivizing, either. It was not until we killed Neyrelle's mother that I really felt against Lilith as the villain, otherwise, I really wished for an option to just join her side instead, it sounded like more fun of an option. Tbh, I'd still prefer that.
Act 2 does a way better job of selling that she's an antagonist. I think there were a lot of missed opportunities to better explain the nuance going on in her mind control/corruption throughout the entirety of the game, but, I'm hoping that it starts to feel cohesive in act 4. I wanted>! Airidah and Vhenard's logic during their corruption!< to be slightly sound in logic. I think this has been part of the fact that I still like Lilith, her words 'sin is their birthright' and the sentiment of 'freeing the people, cull the weak' obviously has horrible consequences, but has some logic there. I think they almost achieved a smarter theme of this through the game, but fell just short. You ask a lot of corrupted people 'Why?'
Airidah said 'My people have forgotten what it took to vanquish Astaroth. How are they going to fair against hell?' This... is so close, but not quite. I loved and ate up the lines where she implied she was trying to help her people, worried that they had become too soft and needed this hardship to prepare and survive. But... it kinda fell apart as she talked. She started to feel like a wasted mind. I wanted her to say 'I see them preparing. Uniting with the knights they hate, even. You're even here for them. If they can't remember what it took to survive Astaroth, if they don't adapt and survive me, how will they ever fare against Lilith? I don't want to see my people destroyed.' Not that that's perfect, but, if these people are corrupted to the levels of mind control where their sense is gone? I don't want my character to bother asking them why. Just let me put them down. Everytime someone asks anyone 'Why' in this game just feels like a waste.

Shop:

Not a huge fan of the microtransactions so far, even though I wasn't against the idea before seeing it in action.
I hate that the $20-30 sets also have a separate accessory set that's literally sold separately. I LIKE that my friend was able to purchase the raised by wolves accessory set that was much cheaper and now we match, I like that there are cheaper options, but I think that each set could've been a $18-25 version that included everything, then maybe a $5-10 mini version like 'Here's a cute weapon, a dog, and an emote' as it is. But include it in the big set! If you think about it, the pricing isn't $25 for their most expensive sets, but $35 which is sorta ridiculous. I saw this the most on the Druid heir of the sea set, like, why separate it? That's so stupid.
It just feels bad browsing the shop. I was even excited to make purchases if something caught my eye before I dug into it. I also hate having to buy entire, full sets when honestly I'm just upset at the lack of tattoo options and want those to put on other characters. I'm hoping that the battle pass has individual items in it I can unlock through it. I want to buy and find small cosmetic options. Especially since a lot of helmets in the shop you can almost find in game, just with a changed detail or two.

Character Creation/Shop pt 2.

I really, really hope in the future to see more makeup options, tattoos, hairstyles. Anything at all to make the character creation experience a liiiittle better since its pretty lackluster right now. I think being able to tweak my diablo characters is great, but my mind automatically wants way more options when given a character creator tool. I like writing and drawing so I have a few druid OCs which got me excited, but they visually just would never work as a diablo druid. My friend had a problem, too, of her rogue's likeness just... meh. Didn't quite hit.
I want more hairstyles. I'm glad to see I can buy tatttoos, but I probably won't just because I don't want to pay $25 for just the tattoos. I like the item sets., just not enough to pay for them. Maybe something cool will come out at some point, but, I was pretty underwhelmed. I think I maybe still have to see what endgame gear looks like. I was planning to buy at least one set, but, idk if I will.

Gameplay:

One complaint I keep hearing is 'So few skill slots'. Not that this makes sense we have as many as any other pc game other than a jrpg. I think the problem is actually that we're getting our ultimate abilities by level 30. We're unlocking the whole ability pool too fast and then going back to add in tweaks and buffs without actually getting new things between 30-50 while we wait for the paragon board. Overall, there's a slightly lacking sense of progression which honestly feels so tough on characters with slow, boring levelling like the druid.
Otherwise? Pretty good. I dig it. Please tweak the 1-50 damage numbers on druid so it isn't 'pulverize or nothing.' Especially levels 5-20, 25 holy god ew disgusting.
I think Rogue feels amazing, Sorc looks like it's going to be fun, Necro... is eh? I'm not having much fun and, another guy put it better, it does not feel like minions are your bread and butter. I enjoy the druid companions more than the necro ones. I'm most likely going to fully sacrifice them all if the bonus for doing so is better than keeping them. Druid feels so cool and so underwhelming. Like the rogue feels cool both in design and because you're actually killing shit. Druid feels so cool and nice, but has too high cooldowns, your damage sucks ass... it's eh. Barb? Doing barb things, having a good time. I really wanna play necro and druid, but, they just don't quite hit.

2023.06.03 12:36 zombiegamer87 Don't punch the wall!!!

Don't punch the wall!!!
I posted this on the Oculus page and they took my post down without even telling me as it was probably bad publicity LOL.
I was playing Onward and I changed my guardian boundary to roomscale as I got the stupid online glitch where enemies stop spawing if you leave your boundary by mistake.
Well not doing that again I lost my bearings and went to launch a grenade across the map and smacked my wall as hard as physically possible. Hit it so hard it split my thumb open on 2 sides, instant blood blister and bent my nail back.
Covered my controller on blood, I can't use my quest atm as my thumb is buggered for atleast a week lol. Praying all the blood on my controller didn't damage my analog stick or buttons as it took me a few seconds to realise I was bleeding.
