2023.06.04 17:36 RFC2001 Rebooking Every WWE PPV from WrestleMania 1 - WrestleMania 40 - Part 45 (Long)

Judgment Day 2007
Date: 20/5/07
Location: Scottrade Center, St. Louis, Missouri
Two-out-of-Three Falls Match for the United States Championship:
MVP (c) vs Chris Benoit (2-0)
Women’s Championship:
Melina (c) vs Mickie James
Intercontinental Championship:
Bobby Lashley (c) vs Carlito
(Carlito hosts the Carlito Cabana and his guest is Bobby Lashley. Carlito says the way Bobby Lashley has disrespected Mr. McMahon is not cool but what will be cool is him winning the Intercontinental Championship. Lashley says Carlito just like Umaga can kiss Vince’s ass as much as he wants, it’s not going to result in him losing to a little punk like him.)
WWE World Tag Team Championship:
The Hardy Boyz (c) vs Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch
(After the match, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas attack The Hardy’s and it’s revealed they’ve reunited!)
Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship:
CM Punk (c) vs Elijah Burke
(Elijah Burke attacks CM Punk on ECW and says he’s not finished with him just because he pinned Marcus Cor Von at Backlash. Burke says he’s going to clean up ECW for Vince McMahon by getting the ECW Championship off him because Vince is right, Punk is a misfit who’ll never succeed in the WWE and is only the ECW champion through pure luck. Punk says not only is ECW the land of extreme but it’s also the land of misfits and it makes him and the ECW Championship the perfect marriage. Punk promises to not lose his title to a shameless ass kisser like Elijah Burke.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Edge (c) vs Mark Henry vs Batista
(After winning the World Heavyweight Championship, Edge says once again he’s proved he’s not only the best wrestler in the company but he’s also the smartest as he watched The Undertaker take the ultimate beating before cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Batista interrupts and tells Edge that he might think he’s smart but the reality is, he’s nothing but a coward who stole the World Heavyweight Championship and it won’t be long till he takes back what’s his. Mark Henry says not only is he back and took out The Undertaker, he’s going to destroy Batista again like he has before and will have no issue taking out Edge too because he has the one thing he really wants an opportunity at, the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge says both men have nothing to do with him and can stay away from his World Heavyweight Championship. However, Teddy Long disagrees and tells Edge that Batista and Mark Henry both have a case so Edge will defend his title against both men at Judgment Day. Edge is furious, already feels like Teddy Long has an agenda against him and demands to be traded back to Raw but Long denies Edge his request. During the match, Batista and Henry are so focused on beating the hell out of each other that it costs them as Edge hits a Spear out of nowhere on Batista and pins him to retain his championship.)
60 Minute Iron Man Match for the WWE Championship:
John Cena (c) vs Shawn Michaels (6-5)
(Shawn Michaels says he had John Cena beat at Backlash and if he wasn’t lucky, he’d be the WWE Champion. Michaels then challenges Cena to defend the WWE Championship against him one more time at Judgment Day. Cena accepts the challenge because he’s a fighting champion. Michaels says he doesn’t want this to be an ordinary match and tells Cena he wants it to a match he won his first WWE Championship at WrestleMania 12, an Iron Man Match! Cena says that’s fine because Shawn Michaels is about to find out he isn’t the only iron man in the WWE. Cena also proposes for it to be for a full hour which Michaels accepts. This is essentially the match they had on Raw in London in real life but with a different outcome. John Cena wins 6-5 to retain the WWE Championship in all time classic. After the match as Shawn Michaels gets up and receives a standing ovation from the fans, Randy Orton from out of nowhere hits him with an RKO, beats the hell out of The Showstopper in front of his wife to the point he bleeds and punts him in the skull. This writes Michaels off TV.)
Notes:
(The WWE Draft takes place on the May 28th 2007 episode of Raw. The same picks as in real life occur apart from the fact Bobby Lashley doesn’t need to be drafted to Raw because he’s already a Raw superstar 😅.)
One Night Stand 2007
Date: 3/6/07
Location: Jackson Veterans Memorial Arena, Jacksonville, Florida
Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match for the WWE World Tag Team Championship:
The Hardy Boyz (c) vs The World’s Greatest Tag Team
Women’s Championship:
Mickie James (c) vs Candice Michelle
Intercontinental Championship:
Bobby Lashley (c) vs Carlito vs Umaga w/Armando Estrada
(Umaga wins the championship after pinning Carlito thanks to Shane McMahon attacking Bobby Lashley who was on verge of retaining his title.)
Street Fight:
Kane vs Mark Henry
(Kane goes after Mark Henry and promises there will be vengeance after what he did to his brother The Undertaker. Henry says Kane doesn’t intimidate him just like The Undertaker doesn’t and he’s just another man on his path of destruction.)
Stretcher Match:
Rob Van Dam vs Randy Orton
(This is Van Dam’s last match in the company for a while as he leaves for TNA.)
Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship:
CM Punk (c) vs Chris Benoit
(Vince McMahon says he’s confident for sure that CM Punk’s days as ECW champion are rightfully numbered because he’ll be defending his title against the new draft pick… Chris Benoit! Benoit says Punk’s a talented wrestler but he’s no Chris Benoit, the greatest technical wrestler on the planet. Punk says he has a huge level of respect for what Benoit’s accomplished in his wrestling career but he sees this as a massive opportunity to prove doubters like Vince McMahon wrong and he’ll ensure he does in what’s no doubt his biggest challenge since winning the ECW Championship. CM Punk wins clean to retain.)
Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Edge (c) vs Batista
(Batista says that weasel Edge being the World Champion makes him sick and promises he’ll destroy him and take back the title. Edge says Batista doesn’t deserve another chance at the World Championship but Theodore Long disagrees and says Batista’s two one on one rematches for the title never had a definitive finish so he announces Edge will face Batista at One Night Stand and the match will be… a Steel Cage Match! Edge tries to convince Long to change the stipulation but Long isn’t having it and tells him he’s giving the fans what they want. Edge sneaks a chain into the match, smashes Batista over the head with it and escapes the cage to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.)
Falls Count Anywhere Match for the WWE Championship:
John Cena (c) vs Booker T w/Sharmell
(After being drafted to Raw, Booker T immediately sets his sights on becoming the WWE Champion. Booker T says Raw is a far fairer run place with Jonathan Coachman in charge compared to SmackDown with Teddy Long. Booker T basically kissing the ass of Coachman is why he grants him the opportunity and Coachman also announces it’ll be a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Cena says he’ll punch Booker T’s teeth down his throat while still proving he’s the top dog in the company while Booker T promises to win the 1 title that’s eluded him in his legendary career.)
Note:
(Sadly, the Chris Benoit tragedy happens between the 22nd-24th of June 2007.)
My opinion on Chris Benoit:
(So, now we’re finally here in the timeline 😬. First of all I just want to say to those who may ask “why have you pushed a murderer?” In the timeline, I’m booking as if I’m in all these years. As a booker, how would I know in 2004 for example what’s going to unfold in 2007? That’s why Benoit is pushed. I’m not going to utterly bury him while he’s alive in the timeline. Now what I’m going to do here is bury him now the tragic events have unfolded. Chris Benoit in my opinion is one of the greatest technical wrestlers of all time, I will never dispute that. I was a huge fan of his and when he won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 20, it was an unbelievable moment and the fact he celebrated with Eddie Guerrero topped it all off. However, what he did was unforgivable and anyone who has any conspiracy theories like he was framed, I’m sorry it’s just not true and the police investigated it properly. The facts are, Chris Benoit did murder his wife Nancy and his son Daniel. I don’t care about CTE or the fact he apparently had a year to live with an enlarged heart. As Paul Heyman said an interview once, f*ck him. The facts are that Chris Benoit murdered his wife, murdered his son and then proceeded to kill himself. The WWE will absolutely never put him in the Hall of Fame and that’s the correct decision because Benoit lost that respect when he did what he did. I personally hope he rots and this is the last he’ll ever be mentioned in this timeline. I want to lastly say to finish this off, my heart goes out to those affected by this tragedy back in 2007 and Rest in Peace to Nancy and Daniel Benoit ❤️.)
Vengeance: Night of Champions 2007
Date: 24/6/07
Location: Toyota Center, Houston, Texas
United States Championship:
MVP (c) vs Ric Flair
Cruiserweight Championship:
Chavo Guerrero (c) vs Jamie Noble
WWE World Tag Team Championship:
The World’s Greatest Tag Team (c) vs The Hardy Boyz
Women’s Championship:
Candice Michelle (c) vs Mickie James
Intercontinental Championship:
Umaga (c) vs Santino Marella
Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship:
CM Punk (c) vs Johnny Nitro
(Johnny Nitro surprisingly replaces The Invisible Man and challenges CM Punk for the ECW Championship when he wasn’t prepared for him. Nitro cheats to win the championship off of Punk, much to the satisfaction of Mr. McMahon.)
WWE Tag Team Championship:
Deuce ‘n Domino (c) w/Cherry vs Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore
Last Chance Match for the World Heavyweight Championship - If Edge is counted out of disqualified, he’ll lose the World Heavyweight Championship:
Edge (c) vs Batista
(After One Night Stand, Batista asks Teddy Long for one more opportunity after Edge’s cowardly acts at One Night Stand. Edge tells Teddy to give Batista the match on one condition, if Batista loses he can never challenge for the title as long as he’s champion. Teddy Long grants Edge his request but also tells him if he gets counted out or disqualified, he’ll lose the World Heavyweight Championship to Batista. During the match, there’s a referee bump and Batista is getting ready to finish this until The Great Khali appears and lays out The Animal! Edge capitalises when the referee regains consciousness and pins Batista to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.)
Six-Pack Challenge Match for the WWE Championship:
John Cena (c) vs Carlito vs Mr.Kennedy vs Randy Orton vs Booker T w/Sharmell vs Bobby Lashley
(All 5 men make a case to be the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship. John Cena says he’ll welcome all comers to prove he’s the man. Jonathan Coachman tells Cena to be careful what he wishes for because at Night of Champions, he’ll be defending the WWE Title against all of them! John Cena retains the WWE Championship after pinning Carlito. After the match, Bobby Lashley stares down Cena as Night of Champions draws to a close.)
Notes:
(Edge tears his pectoral muscle, is put on the shelf for a while and is forced to surrender the World Heavyweight Championship.)
(Mark Henry wins a Battle Royal on the July 20th, 2007 episode of SmackDown to win the World Heavyweight Championship!)
The Great American Bash 2007
Date: 22/7/07
Location: HP Pavilion San Jose, California
WWE Tag Team Championship:
Deuce ‘n Domino (c) vs Matt Hardy & MVP
(Matt Hardy hates MVP and wants his United States Championship but they get paired as partners and are told to co-exist by Mr. McMahon who also rewards them with a Tag Team Championship match at The Great American Bash. Hardy and MVP win the titles.)
Cruiserweight Championship:
Chavo Guerrero (c) vs Super Crazy
Intercontinental Championship:
Umaga (c) vs Jeff Hardy
Batista vs The Great Khali w/Ranjin Singh
Women’s Championship:
Candice Michelle (c) vs Melina
Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship:
John Morrison (c) vs CM Punk
(CM Punk invokes his rematch clause for the ECW Championship. Vince McMahon tries to deny Punk the opportunity to win the title back but CM Punk tells him if he even dares to deny him his rematch then he’ll sue him because it’s a contractual obligation meaning McMahon has no choice but to let Punk compete for the ECW Championship. The newly named John Morrison who’s leaving Johnny Nitro behind tells Vince to not worry, he’ll take care of business for him which Vince gives him the vote of confidence. Punk says this time he’s ready for Morrison unlike at Night of Champions and will become a 2 time ECW Champion. Morrison says even prepared, he’s just too good for Punk. John Morrison cheats to retain the title after hitting Punk with brass knuckles when the referee isn’t looking.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Mark Henry (c) vs Kane
(Teddy Long announces that Mark Henry will defend his title against Kane at The Great American Bash because Kane had earned an opportunity to fight for the World Championship when Edge was champion. Kane says that he’s got unfinished business with Henry and revenge will be sweeter when he wins the World Heavyweight Championship. Henry says Kane will once again feel his wrath just like his brother The Undertaker and Batista have.)
WWE Championship:
John Cena (c) vs Bobby Lashley
(Bobby Lashley wins a Fatal 4-Way match against Booker T, Randy Orton and Mr.Kennedy in order to face John Cena at The Great American Bash. Lashley tells Cena that he respects his dedication and desire but when push comes to shove, he has no hesitation breaking him in half if it means he wins the WWE Championship. Cena says Lashley is an incredible athlete who’s unbelievably gifted but he’s going to show the whole world that Lashley’s time isn’t now the way a lot of people think it is. John Cena retains after delivering an FU from the top rope and both men shake hands after the match. When Cena’s alone in the ring, Randy Orton from out of nowhere delivers an RKO to Cena and holds up the WWE Championship as the show draws to a close.)
Note:
(Bobby Lashley gets injured not long after this event and leaves the company in early 2008.)
SummerSlam 2007
Date: 26/8/07
Location: Continental Airlines Arena, East Rutherford, New Jersey
Ladder Match for the ECW Championship:
John Morrison (c) vs CM Punk
(CM Punk demands one more match for the ECW Championship against John Morrison which Morrison insists to Vince McMahon to allow his request. Morrison gives Vince an idea for what type of match it should be. Vince likes the idea and announces that CM Punk will face John Morrison at SummerSlam in… A Ladder Match! John Morrison says he’s the prince of parkour and CM Punk's ambition of being the ECW Champion again will be crushed by him for good. Punk promises to become and 2 time ECW champion while also ensuring Morrison has no teeth after the match. CM Punk wins to become a 2 time ECW Champion.)
WWE World Tag Team Championship:
World’s Greatest Tag Team (c) vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick
Cruiserweight Championship:
Chavo Guerrero (c) vs Rey Mysterio
(Teddy Long tells Chavo Guerrero he’ll defend his Cruiserweight Championship at SummerSlam against… Rey Mysterio! Chavo says he’s been waiting for Rey’s return and at the event he cost him the World Heavyweight Championship the year before, he’s going to make sure he puts Rey back on the shelf again but this time for good. Rey Mysterio wins the title and retires the Cruiserweight Championship on the SmackDown after SummerSlam.)
Intercontinental Championship:
Umaga (c) vs Jeff Hardy
Women’s Championship:
Candice Michelle (c) vs Melina vs Mickie James vs Beth Phoenix
Triple H vs Booker T w/Sharmell
(Vignettes start to show that Triple H is returning to the WWE after another Quad injury. Booker T being aware of this challenges Triple H to a match at SummerSlam. Booker T’s motives are simple, Triple H once made his life a living hell and he wants to get revenge he never truly got. Booker T promises to put Triple H back on the shelf and embarrass him on his return. Triple H wins in a 10 minute match and Booker T leaves the company after this match.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Mark Henry (c) vs Batista
(A one on one match that’s a long time in the making. Batista wins a #1 Contender’s Match against Kane and says this is a match he’s wanted for a while because he’s never fully gotten revenge on Mark Henry for putting him out of action which forced him to surrender the World Heavyweight Championship. Henry says he’s also been waiting for full revenge after Batista also cost him a year of his career when he came back and assaulted him. Both men brawl whenever they see each other in the build up. During the match when Henry’s on top… GONG! The lights come back on but Taker doesn’t appear. Henry then receives a Spinebuster from Batista and The Animal pins him to win the World Heavyweight Championship!)
WWE Championship:
John Cena (c) vs Randy Orton
(First time ever in a one on one capacity. Randy Orton says while Cena has been on top for the last few years, he’s always avoided facing him one on one and tells him the reason he does is because he knows The Legend Killer is better than him! Cena tells Orton to stop talking out of his ass and if he wants to fight him, he’s ready for the challenge and just like the others, Randy Orton will be on his list of guys he beat. Randy Orton cheats when the referee isn’t looking by hitting Cena with a low blow. Orton then delivers an RKO and pins John Cena to win the WWE Championship!)
Notes:
(Batista beats Mark Henry in a Street Fight on SmackDown to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in Henry’s rematch clause. The Undertaker’s Gong once again provides a distraction to Henry and there’s also a message on the titantron that reads “The dead will rise, September 16th 2007… RIP Mark Henry!”)
And that’s part 45! I hope you guys enjoyed this part. I’d like to add that I hope you don’t mind my passionate opinion on the man who shall not be named from now on. Anyways, enough of me dwelling about that! I’ll be back very soon to cover the rest of 2007 where we’ll see a few stars return, The Age of Orton begin on Raw and John Cena go down with an injury. Stay safe and stay tuned!

2023.06.02 05:56 NeedleworkerSad357 Overview of the Blackmail Running Our World

This post is an overview of some of the blackmail tactics used to control most of the influential people and governments around the world. Obviously I cannot cover everything in a single post, so as with my previous posts I highly encourage you to research further yourself. All sources and links are at the bottom of the post. An understanding of what trauma-based mind control programming (MKULTRA/MONARCH) is, and how it works, is again necessary to understanding much of this. My other posts here:
The world is run on blackmail, mind control, and shame.
There exist many collections of videotapes of 'high-up' people engaging in some of the worst, sickest things imaginable. Drugs, torture, pedophilia, and murder are common themes to these videos. These tapes are in the hands of many different people, groups, and especially intelligence agencies. 'Honey-trap' operations are constantly being run to gather compromising and incriminating evidence on people of importance. Child slaves will be used to compromise people on video. Global leaders are often covertly videotaped doing perverted things with sex slaves sent to them by intelligence agencies, the Illuminati, or other groups, and this is then leveraged. Rape and murder of a child (forced or not), one of the most repulsive things possible, is many times filmed to ensure future compliance.
"Back in 1966, Rothstein became the first police detective assigned to investigate the prostitution industry. Almost immediately he discovered an underground sexual blackmail operation that compromised politicians with child prostitutes. ‘Human Compromise’ is what he labelled the honey-trap process. Rothstein and his colleagues found that approximately 70 percent of top US Government leaders were compromised in this way. Rothstein said, the CIA conducted the human compromise operation, while the FBI was tasked with covering up any leaks."
"One of the things I found out over the last ten years of studying governments and listening to intelligence and counter-intelligence is that those in government are sexually compromised, and their sexual secrets are collected and then they are promoted into governments and into judiciaries and into all the positions of importance. Paedophilia is the preferred dirt as it is easily photographed, easily presented in a range of media, immensely shameful, and the public demands your resignation."
"Paul Bonacci, one of the victim-witnesses in the Franklin affair, also clearly stated Larry King used him in blackmail operations in New York and Washington. The latter was in connection with the activities of a close associate of Larry King, Craig Spence, who was involved in a prostitution ring consisting of underaged boys that were supplied to Washington's upper class, which went right up to the White House."
"The thing about pedophilia is it holds the most shame, therefore it has the most control over judges and lawyers, and Queen's councils and politicians and ministers. Sexually bent politicians in denial of their sexuality to the public are a threat to their own country and policies. They are easily setup, photographed, politically bribed, toppled, and supported in the destruction of their country. This method of altering a country’s policies is epidemic and now endemic to politics."
"Bob (Hope) was politically connected and knew how to lure people in and insure they would work for him. He invited them to his parties and dangled various kinds of illegal or immoral perversions in their faces. Once their perversions were uncovered, he could blackmail or control them. That is how Bob worked. Bob was very good at this. I watched him do it to people over and over. He lured them in, detected their weaknesses, then used that knowledge in his favor, for his connections, and ultimately for his personal gain."
These blackmail 'practices' are often used in conjunction with trauma-based mind control. This mind control is an integral component of, and is deeply intertwined with child trafficking, sex slavery, Satanic ritual abuse, and many other horrific crimes. Many of the children used for blackmail are programmed, and many of the people being blackmailed (including (sometimes future) politicians, leaders, presidents, etc.) are also programmed themselves.
"My personal belief, based on my experiences, is that over the years, more leaders were under mind control."
"Fritz Springmeier notes that 'It is a standard tactic of the Illuminati, their New World Order and its various branches to use fear and blackmail to bring people into line.' Cheryl Beck had a 'sexy Sadie' program that was used to blackmail government and military people as a child prostitute seductress. Cathy O’Brien’s daughter Kelly was 'being prostituted to the CIA for blackmail purposes.' Svali notes that using child prostitutes to blackmail political leadership outside of the Illuminati was very common."
"Beryl-Green said Epstein knew about MKULTRA. He was into mind-controlling victims and satanic ritual abuse (SRA). Epstein was into DNA mixing, human cloning and he knew about New World Order plans."
"This dirty game has been honed to a fine art, which is a standard feature of the Illuminati/intelligence groups. The CIA term for blackmail is an 'OK FIX.' When they use a person’s past sins to force someone to do something they refer to this as 'biographic leverage.' Any weak point in a person can and will be exploited. Sexual entrapment for blackmail is referred to as a 'HONEY TRAP'. Black widow alters are being trained and sent out for this purpose. In order to blackmail, or threaten, you have to have something to threaten the person with. Men are frequently entrapped by sexual behavior which is criminal. Sometimes they are also entrapped by murder. The Monarch slave will be allowed to have children so that they can be blackmailed into complying to save the children or grandchildren. The Monarch slave in turn may be used to blackmail others. Certain alters are trained in this. A Monarch Beta model is highly trained in seduction. Many politicians and ministers are operating under blackmail today. The extent that blackmail is being used by the NWO would boggle people’s minds. Porn films are taken of the Monarch victims, so that they can be used to blackmail the victim. Monarch victims are forced to commit ritual murders which are photographed and then used to blackmail the mind-controlled victim."
Intelligence agencies all over the world utilize blackmail, routinely employing and exploiting it as much as possible. It is an extremely important 'tool' of theirs. Operations are done to gather the incriminating evidence.
"Other 'neutralisations' verge on the bizarre. An individual who must remain nameless for a variety of reasons - but whose name is known to this writer - underwent an experience that is both horrific and chilling. I shall call this individual 'Mr. X' or, simply, 'X'. Mr. X was a leader of one of the largest CIA-backed Contra groups. He recently testified before the US Senate Intelligence Committee. Formerly, X was a senior executive in a South American subsidiary of a leading US soft drinks corporation. During his Senate testimony, he denied any knowledge of CIA involvement in the narcotics trade, adding that condoning such activity would have been foreign to his way of life. Not so, says Tatum. Mr. X had been recruited into the CIA by then-Director William Casey, with the assistance of Oliver North. In 1990, when Nicaraguan leader Daniel Ortega announced there would be 'free elections', X was ecstatic. He began jostling for position and asked President Bush to ensure he be given a prominent position in the new government - in return for his years of toil at the behest of the CIA and the Enterprise. The pressure came in a form that Bush could not ignore. Failure to help his friend would result in X's intimate knowledge of Bush's involvement in the dope trade being made public. His threat left Bush with a sour taste. A Pegasus team was assigned to 'neutralise' him in early 1990. Mr. X, Tatum states, 'fancied himself a lover of women. Tall, large-breasted blondes were his favourite. It was determined that, if effectively neutralised, [X] could be an asset. Therefore, it was decided that intimidation would be used to control [X].' They chose to use the drug Scopolamine, which also went by the nickname 'Burundanga' or 'the Voodoo drug'. The drug is extracted from the pods of a flowering shrub that grows in remote regions of South America. In its processed, powdered form, Scopolamine is 'void of smell, void of taste'. When properly administered 'it causes absolute obedience' without this being 'observable by others'. Importantly, the target will not recall any of the events that occurred during the period they were under the spell of the drug. Tatum states that X was invited to spend a relaxing weekend at a luxury hotel as a guest of his friend George Bush. His host for the weekend was a trusted 18-year veteran field-intelligence officer. The evening started with cocktails and was followed by a fine meal. ''Nothing but the best' were the orders.' Following the meal, he was ushered into the suite of a 'blonde bombshell' supplied by the CIA. Mr. X had already ingested a dose of Burundanga during pre-dinner cocktails. X was gallant with the blonde as they both moved into the bedroom where video cameras were already set up in one corner. In short order, the blonde had X standing naked in front of her and began to indulge his desires. All the while, the video cameras whirred. Slowly stripping off, the 'blonde' revealed his manhood in all its glory. Mr. X was instructed to reciprocate the favour and perform fellatio. He obliged, his intimate activities recorded at 24 frames a second on videotape. Tatum says the male prostitute was hired from a bar in New York and killed that same evening. Two weeks later, X - wholly unaware of the events of that evening - was visited in Nicaragua. He was presented with a copy of the video footage, along with instructions. Tatum says that X can never allow that video to be seen: 'Not only does it reveal his homosexuality, but it also reveals his bestiality and satanic worship rituals.' As frame after frame flicked by, X reportedly wept, forced to watch himself kill his homosexual 'lover' and then engage in the most grisly cannabalistic ritual imaginable. Neutralised, Mr. X became a leading member of the Nicaraguan government a few short weeks later."
"Check out the FBI records on Scarlett: What was his original HOOK that got him so deeply embedded into UK Illuminati culture? He murdered the nanny of Lord Lucan in the 1970's. Lucan wasn't actually involved. Scarlett got it wrong. He was under mind control at the time. How we all laughed on his training sessions when we heard that one. Not funny, really. We were all in the same boat. Each had something terrible attached to us, in our past. That is all part and parcel of the Illuminati contract. Young people forced under mind control to commit murder when young and then later on, picked up by British Intelligence to be used and abused as they wished - as loyal servants of the British Crown. One can only hope that by exposing these HOOKS, that some sort of amnesty can prevail. If these people are freed from the demonic Illuminati contract by exposing their HOOKS - one can only hope that they will come forward as a sizeable and influential body of political and public figures, in order to put an end to it. Here's hoping. Check out Rimington's hook to see what sort of mind ran MI5 for so long. It's a game called 'mafia' and it is ALL about blackmail."
"...He had previously signed off on Epstein’s 'sweetheart deal' because Epstein 'had belonged to intelligence.' Acosta, then serving as US attorney for Southern Florida, had also been told by unspecified figures at the time that he needed to give Epstein a lenient sentence because of his links to 'intelligence.'"
"Detective Rothstein found that the CIA were behind a blackmail operation in which child prostitutes were used to honey-trap and compromise politicians, military brass, top businessmen, and key government officials. Rothstein, who arrested the key Watergate perpetrator, said Watergate solely concerned this human compromise racket, and specifically was an attempt to obtain a list of compromised pedophile VIPs and their proclivities that was held at the Democratic National Headquarters."
"Michael Aquino was in the military. He had top Pentagon clearances. He was a pedophile. He was a Satanist. He founded the Temple of Set. And he was a close friend of Anton LaVey. The two of them were very active in ritualistic sexual abuse. And they deferred funding from this government program to use in this experimentation on children. Where they deliberately split off the personalities of these children into multiples, so that when they're questioned or put under oath or questioned under lie detector, that unless the operator knows how to question a multiple-personality disorder, they turn up with no evidence. They used these kids to sexually compromise politicians or anyone else they wish to have control of...they were taken to be used by professional pedophiles. People that have the money to buy what they want, take the kids wherever they want...and by splitting the children’s personalities they could then train each one of the personalities to do a different function. And the rest of the personalities within that host personality would not be aware of it or remember it."
"Vinson also told Nick Bryant that Spence and Larry King were 'partners' and 'hooked up with the CIA', stating specifically that 'King and Spence were in business together, and their business was pedophilic blackmail.' They were transporting children all over the country. They would arrange for children to be flown into Washington, DC and also arrange for influential people in DC to be flown out to the Midwest and meet these kids. Per Vinson, Larry King had confided in him that he had clients who liked to torture and even kill children: 'King said they had clients who actually liked having sex with kids as they tortured or killed the kid. I found that totally unbelievable.' After Vinson said this to Nick Bryant, he asked Bryant later on in the interview if King’s disclosure had indeed been true. He was unaware at the time that other evidence, including witness testimony, had suggested that it was."
"According to fugitive ex-CIA officer Frank Terpil, CIA-directed sexual blackmailing operations were intensive in Washington at about the time of the Watergate scandal. One of those operations, Terpil claims, was run by his former partner, Ed Wilson. Wilson's base of operations for arranging trysts for the politically powerful was, Terpil says, Korean agent Ton Sun Park’s George Town Club. In a letter to the author, Terpil explained that ‘Historically, one of Wilson’s Agency jobs was to subvert members of both houses [of Congress] by any means necessary. Certain people could be easily coerced by living out their sexual fantasies in the flesh...A remembrance of these occasions was permanently recorded via selected cameras...The technicians in charge of filming were TSD [Technical Services Division of the CIA]...The unwitting porno stars advanced in their political careers, some of whom may still be in office.'"
"Intelligence and counter intelligence ‘work’, and they ‘work together’ to create scenarios that are so unbelievable that they cannot be published in the mainstream media, and if they are, they will appear like a joke. The information to blackmail a country, to blackmail its politicians, to blackmail its Prime Ministers and Presidents, to blackmail its judges and lawyers is a very serious matter."
The Illuminati and other cults also engage in the same blackmail operations. There is a huge overlap between secret societies/cults and intelligence, with top intelligence usually being run by them. All of them do this.
"I was able to have first hand access to the Jeffrey Epstein case investigation documents. According to the documents, Epstein was the head of a global fraternity related to the Shriners called The Royal Order of Jesters. This order is covered with scandals and lawsuits related to human trafficking, but they are very protected because many members of the order are high-profile political figures and businessmen. It is crazy how these people manage to operate under the radar for so many years, decades...Now you may ask how they do this? Easy...By using blackmail tactics, they manage to have Judges and Law Enforcement licking their feet. That's how Jeffery Epstein got assassinated. After he was out of the game, the whole business is run by other people. Major names are involved and many high-profile people who are all bound to the order by means of blackmail. This is particularly disturbing when you find out that the cases of Catholic priests involved in sex scandals are events organized by The Order of Jesters. They run blackmail operations with the purpose of seducing people in power...With those videos in their power, the careers and the public image of many people are in the Jester's hands. They are free to do anything, they can turn even the President of the United States into a slave."
-- "Jeffrey Epstein Post" [7]
"Illuminati 'FROG ON A LILYPAD' programming: The FROG as a paedophile - with no 'tadpole tail/tale', as in no memory of what he/she has done until they get past 40 years old. It becomes clear that so many people were forced to be paedophiles and to abuse their children - only to wake up to all of this later on - post 40 years old. Then to have Stella Rimington on their doorstep with a videotape - telling them that she will send it to the police if they do not do precisely what she says. The ultimate blackmail weapons combined: A tape of you committing paedophilia - and even worse - incest with your own children. Guaranteed to 'silence' most people for life. The scope of this Illuminati blackmail project has been immense, in British society and it has to be exposed. There is safety in numbers."
"(Sue) Arrigo adds that the kids with the most smarts and/or looks, about 5% are skimmed off the top by the Luciferians in charge like the Bushes and used as either spies or corporate sex slaves or both. They’re typically pimped out on high priced loans to influential politicians as house boy and girls to ensure the puppets in Congress are happy and blackmail-able for control."
"The Masonic leadership of Freemasonry in a given area will have thousands of 'blackmail' files on essentially everyone of importance in their area. Upper echelon people such as judges, lawyers, and politicians are generally controlled via IRS infringements, and many of the lower echelon people are controlled through weird sexual items. This is where the Delta and Beta Monarch slaves are so helpful to the Illuminati. (This information comes from several witnesses who are informed about the blackmail files & their methods for blackmailing.)"
These people are already in power, and have set their system up so that nobody rises to a prominent, powerful, or influential position without being selected, extensively compromised, controllable, and usually under mind control. They are all 'in it together', and because of this they protect eachother. Most have 'insurance' on one another.
"The most common phrase associated with that one was ‘talk about the pot calling the kettle black’, meaning that each Illuminati slave had been caught on camera and from an early age – doing something terrible – as Rimington was fond of saying ‘we are all as bad as each other and all in it together.’"
"Oftentimes when I and others were prostituted to various government (New World Order) leaders, Dante had hidden cameras filming perverse sexual acts apparently for future blackmail leverage. These videos were scandalous in proportion and were usually ordered by Reagan. Dante turned the videos over to Reagan, and covertly kept copies to protect himself. Dante converted a small room of his Beverly Hills mansion into a security vault, where he kept his personal copies of the international blackmail porn tapes there. Blackmail was openly initiated to ensure that each criminal participant understood that if one fell, they all fell. Maintaining 'dirt' on each other through this Mafia-style method was seemingly the only way these criminals implementing the New World Order kept each other 'honest.'"
"The Watergate break-in was strictly based on one thing - the pedophile records that were being kept at the Democratic National Headquarters."
"In 1972, Rothstein arrested one of the five Watergate burglars, CIA operative Frank Sturgis. During a subsequent two-hour interrogation, Rothstein discovered the truth about Watergate (plus Sturgis’ and the CIA’s involvement in the Bay of Pigs incident, and the related assassination of JFK). Sturgis told Rothstein, the Watergate burglars sought something they nicknamed ‘The Book’ which listed the Democratic and Republican politicians who accessed child prostitutes, their sexual proclivities, the amounts they paid to rape kids, etc."
There are certain places known for this, two famous examples being Little St. James island or Bohemian Grove (there are many, many others).
"For those of you who are interested in Bohemian Grove and the current list upon the Internet of those poor unsuspecting 'invitees' who will be pressganged into going (and subsequently blackmailed out of their minds afterwards, by the Illuminati)...the entrapment going on at Bohemian Grove is of an avaricious and esoteric nature - in relation to all of those unlucky 'invitees' who want to join this 'prestigious club' but then get videoed doing things that they wouldn't want anyone to know about - 'guests' who are then subsequently blackmailed out of their brains...and for the rest of their lives. But then that was what the Illuminati cult and their Sat B'hai contract has always been about...promising that you would get everything for nothing (if you agreed to be unquestioningly obedient to the Crown) and that you would now be part of an 'esoteric' prestigious Satanic club."
"Numerous videos are covertly produced at the supposedly secure political sex playground in northern California, Bohemian Grove. High tech undetectable cameras use fiber optics, and fish-eye lenses were in each of the elite club's numerous sexual perversion theme rooms. I was programmed and equipped to function in all rooms at Bohemian Grove in order to compromise specific government targets according to their personal perversions. 'Anything, anytime, anywhere with anyone' was my mode of operation at the Grove. My perception is that Bohemian Grove serves those ushering in the New World Order through mind control, and consists primarily of the highest Mafia and U.S. Government officials. Project Monarch mind controlled slaves were routinely abused there to fulfill the primary purpose of the club: purveying perversion. Bohemian Grove is reportedly intended to be used recreationally, providing a supposedly secure environment for politically affluent individuals to 'party' without restraint. The only business conducted there pertained to implementing the New World Order, through the proliferation of mind-control atrocities, giving the place an air of 'Masonic Secrecy'. The only room where business discussions were permitted was the small, dark lounge affectionately and appropriately referred to as the Underground. The wooden sign was carved to read: 'U.N.DERGROUND'. My purpose at the Grove was sexual in nature, and therefore my perceptions were limited to a sex slave's viewpoint. As an effective means of control to ensure undetected proliferation of their perverse indulgences, slaves such as myself were subjected to ritualistic trauma. Slaves of advancing age or with failing programming were sacrificially murdered 'at random' in the wooded grounds of Bohemian Grave, and I felt it was 'simply a matter of time until it would be me'. Rituals were held at a giant, concrete owl monument on the banks of the Russian River. These occultish sex rituals stemmed from the scientific belief that mind-controlled slaves required severe trauma to ensure compartmentalization of the memory. I witnessed the sacrificial death of a young, dark-haired victim at which time I was instructed to perform sexually 'as though my life depended upon it'. I was told, 'The next sacrifice victim could be you.' The club offered a 'Necrophilia' themed room to its members. I was so heavily drugged and programmed when used in the 'necrophilia' room, that the threat of actually 'slipping through death's door' and being sacrificed 'before I knew it' did not affect me. Other perversion theme rooms at the Bohemian Club included what I heard Ford refer to as the 'Dark Room'. When he not so cleverly said, 'Let's go to the Dark Room and see what develops,' I understood from experience that he was interested in indulging in his perverse obsession for pornography. In the Dark Room, members had sex with the same mind-controlled slave they were viewing in porn on a big screen television. There was a triangular glass display centered in a main through way where I was locked in with various trained animals, including snakes. Members walking by watched illicit sex acts of bestiality, women with women, mothers with daughters, kids with kids, or any other unlimited perverse visual display. I was once brutally assaulted by Dick Cheney in the Leather Room, which was designed like a dark, black leather-lined train berth. There was a room of shackles and tortures, black lights and strobes, an opium den, ritualistic sex altars, a chapel, group orgy rooms including poster beds, water beds, and 'kitten' houses. I was used as a 'rag doll' in the 'toy store,' and as a urinal in the 'golden arches' room. From the owl's roost to the necrophilia room, no memory of sexual abuse is as horrifying as the conversations overheard in the Underground pertaining to implementing the New World Order. I learned that perpetrators believed that controlling the masses through propaganda mind manipulation did not guarantee there would be a world left to dominate due to environmental and overpopulation problems. The solution being debated was not pollution/population control, but mass genocide of 'selected undesirables'."
News 'headlines' with hidden symbolic communication are also used by intelligence and other groups, many times referring to blackmail (among the many other varieties of covert operations).
"'Nuclear' is a comm used all over the world to symbolize extraordinarily explosive information, like blackmail. Which is why if we reconcile blackmail with news about nuclear, a secret truth will become clear. The two most powerful blackmailers ever? That would probably be Jeffrey Epstein and Hugh Hefner. And this is why the deaths of blackmailers like Hugh Hefner and Jeffrey Epstein both coincided with 'Nuclear Accidents':"
08/09/2019 Is Putin covering up a Nuclear disaster?
09/26/2017 Nuclear explosion kept secret by Russia
"Why are CIA blackmailers dying the day after Russia declares nuclear accidents? The reason for the -1 day in Epstein’s case is they likely died before the official day, and these comms were to give agents a heads up on the upcoming BOOM before it hits papers. In Hefners case they had to signal people to move the blackmail. The point as stated is a lot of 'nuclear' is all about blackmail. Not all of it, but a lot of it."
Blackmail is a worldwide 'practice', with all countries and their governments engaging in aquiring and utilizing it to the fullest.
"Just as the 1986 Mirano scandal, the X-Dossiers contain evidence that sexual blackmail operations, whoever is running them, are not limited to the United States. In 1996, X1 reported how the same activities had been going on in Brussels."
"As the bewildered Belgians tried to make sense of what was going on, incredible rumours began circulating that Dutroux might have been protected in some way, that he had friends in high places. Pornographic videos taken from his home were said to feature prominent individuals, one a senior member of the Roman Catholic church. It almost defied belief. Who would protect a psychopath, other than people with something truly terrible to hide?...'It is quite obvious,' said Katarin de Clercq, Belgian coordinator of the pressure group End Child Prostitution Abduction and Trafficking, 'that some people were protecting Dutroux. The government tried to convince us that he was a lone serial killer and psychopath, but now we hear stories about unnamed famous personalities being involved in sex orgies and blackmail and pornographic video tapes. People feel that something is completely wrong here and we have to show we will not tolerate it.'"
"I was unfortunate enough to attend the IHS Templar Castle rite in 2001. Amongst the people in attendence were: J. K. Rowling. Gordon Brown. David Miliband. Stephen Daldry. Stella Rimington (she was the Dr. Mengele of the organisation, organising the torture and murder of kidnapped children). Dr. Joanne Collie. Andrew Marr (he spent most of the time naked and screaming - off his head on some form of narcotic). John Scarlett (he was so drunk/drugged up that he had very little idea of what was going on around him). The Templars had captured a large amount of people whom they called the 'snakes' i.e. slaves in a large dungeon underneath the castle. One brave person managed to set them free and the result in the neighbouring village of Mons and other places nearby, ensured that the British Army had to move in. Thus began the most incredible cover-up in recent European history. It was like WACO, Guyana. I was one of the 'slaves' taken at that castle but subsequently freed by the British Army (who also know what happened - a MASSIVE cover-up). The British Army ordered those in the Castle to come out. They then sent a tank in to bulldoze the walls. Prince Philip and Prince William were in that Castle. Both of them had murdered countless tiny children in their rites. The British Army assembled watched as both walked out with large, dark, woven potato sacks over their heads. They were then bundled into a van and driven away. The name SPUDNIKS was coined because Prince Philip and Prince William had to exit the castle with potato sacks pulled down over their heads and bodies. The British Army present at the time - may or may not have had any idea who they were but the SIS general there, certainly did. They might have managed to cover it up regarding the ordinary soldiers there but the videotapes are now on sale worldwide. The whole event had been closely monitored for blackmail purposes."
The CIA also blackmails incestual/pedophilic parents for their children to use in trauma-based mind control slave projects like MONARCH.
"My Uncle Bob, also implicated in manufacturing the porn, out of apparent desperation informed my father of a U.S. Government Defense Intelligence Agency TOP SECRET Project to which he was privy. This was Project Monarch. Project Monarch was a mind-control operation which was 'recruiting' multigenerational incest abused children with Multiple Personality Disorder for its genetic mind-control studies. I was a prime 'candidate,' a 'chosen one'. My father seized the opportunity as it would provide him immunity from prosecution."
"The expendables are the children of parents who were blackmailed into turning their children over to the CIA. This is all hidden by the power of the National Security Act. These are children, who have been sold by pedophile fathers, or pornographic parents. The programmers/masters program them with the expectation that they will be "thrown from the freedom train" when they get to age 30. (Freedom Train is the code word for the Monarch trauma-based mind-control. To be thrown from the Freedom Train means to be killed.) The CIA and the Illuminati are skilled at blackmailing parents to give up their children. They would watch the mail for porn. Pedophile and murderers who abuse their children are warned that they will go to prison for long lengths of time if they do not cooperate by selling their children into mind-controlled slavery. In return for the parent’s cooperation, they provide rich financial rewards to the parent(s). It’s clearly a case of 'if you don’t cooperate you lose in life big time, if you do cooperate you win big time.'"
Blackmail is the glue holding all of the sick people in charge together, one of the top methods of control. This is the truth. Blackmail, pedophilia, and mind control are how this world is really run.
"Former CIA director William Colby giving advice to John DeCamp, urging him to quit his investigations into the Franklin child abuse affair:"
"'What you have to understand, John, is that sometimes there are forces and events too big, too powerful, with so much at stake for other people or institutions, that you cannot do anything about them, no matter how evil or wrong they are and no matter how dedicated or sincere you are or how much evidence you have. This is simply one of the hard facts of life you have to face.'"
"Again, it’s built in, entrenched foxes guarding the predatory henhouse that permeate all levels of government, military, courts, law enforcement, entertainment and news media, corporate global finance and education. With pedophile puppet masters controlling the pedophile puppet strings of blackmailed, compromised and controlled Western politicians, courts and law enforcement, their diabolical infrastructure has afforded them living above the law continuing to rape and kill our innocents for centuries."

2023.06.01 14:12 sonofabutch No game today, so let's remember a forgotten Yankee: Jackie Jensen, "The Golden Boy"

Jackie Jensen, "The Golden Boy", was a superstar athlete in the 1940s who seemed destined for greatness as the heir to Joe DiMaggio... only to be supplanted by a different golden boy, the great Mickey Mantle.
Jensen would eventually live up to the hype, but with the Red Sox -- but his career ended prematurely because, as baseball expanded to the west coast, his fear of flying made road games unbearable!
The Yankees between 1947 and 1964 were utterly dominant, winning 15 pennants and 10 World Series. And it wasn't just the major league team that was successful. The Yankees of this era were loaded up and down the system, from Rookie ball to their two Triple-A teams!
With such a loaded major league roster, the Yankees had many talented players stuck either on the end of the bench or in the minors who would eventually find an opportunity with other teams, including Bob Cerv, Vic Power, Gus Triandos, Lew Burdette, Jerry Lumpe, Bob Porterfield, and Bob Keegan, all named All-Stars with other teams after leaving the Yankees. Clint Courtney would be the 1952 A.L. Rookie of the Year runner-up after the Yankees traded him to the Browns, and Bill Virdon was the 1955 N.L. Rookie of the Year with the Cardinals (and then Yankee manager from 1974 to 1975!).
But the most talented player who just couldn't find the playing time in New York was Jack Eugene Jensen, born March 9, 1927, in San Francisco. His parents divorced when he was 5, and he grew up poor, his mother working six days a week, 12 hours a day. Jensen said the family moved 16 times between kindergarten and eighth grade -- "every time the rent came due."
After serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Jensen went to the University of California in 1946 on the G.I. Bill. There he became one of the most famous college players in the country, leading Cal to the Rose Bowl. In 1947, he was the starting fullback as well as the team's top defensive back, and in 1948, he rushed for 1,000 yards and was an All-American.
He also was a tremendous two-way baseball player, pitching and hitting for the Golden Bears in 1947 as the won the very first College World Series, beating a Yale team that had George H.W. Bush playing first base. In 1949, he was an All-American in baseball, too.
His blond hair, good looks, and athletic accomplishments earned him the nickname "The Golden Boy."
Halfway through his junior year, Jensen left Berkeley to turn pro. Jensen would later say he couldn't risk playing a career-ending injury playing for free while teams -- baseball and football -- were trying to sign him to big-money contracts.
"There was a money tree growing in my backyard. Why shouldn't I pluck off the dollars when I wanted to?"
Jensen considered a number of offers, including from the Yankees, before signing a three-year, $75,000 contract with the Oakland Oaks of the Pacific Coast League. Jensen said he thought he'd face better competition in the Pacific Coast League, the top minor league of the era, than he would at the bottom of the Yankee farm system. He was right about it being more of a challenge -- he hit an unimpressive .261/.317/.394 in 510 plate appearances with the Oaks.
At the end of the year, the Oaks sold his contract (and that of Billy Martin, another Northern California kid) to the Yankees.
That same year, Jensen married his high school sweetheart, Zoe Ann Olsen, an Olympic diver. (By age 18, she had won 14 national diving championships and a silver medal in the 1948 Olympics.) "Together they looked like a Nordic god and goddess," Sports Illustrated reported. Nicknamed "the sweethearts of sports," they were the Dansby Swanson and Mallory Pugh of their era. More than 1,000 people attended their wedding.
Jensen would start the 1950 season not in the minors but in the Bronx. He joined the Yankees in a time of flux. They though they'd won the 1949 World Series, the Yankees knew they had to make some changes, with 35-year-old Joe DiMaggio nearing the end of his career. And their heir apparent was not Mickey Mantle -- at the time an 18-year-old shortstop playing in the Class C league, the equivalent of A-ball today -- but the 23-year-old Jensen.
But Jensen disappointed, hitting just .171/.247/.300 in 70 at-bats, and only starting in 13 games. Watching from the bench most of the season, Jensen would later lament the lost year of development, saying he'd have been better off playing every day in the Pacific Coast League.
The Yankees won the pennant for a second straight year, and in the World Series he once again was left on the bench. His only action was as a pinch runner in Game 3 as the Yankees swept the Phillies. That "Moonlight Graham" appearance would be his only taste of the post-season in an 11-year career.
The following year would be DiMaggio's last, and Mantle's first. Jensen began the year as the Yankees' starting left fielder and proved he belonged, hitting .296/.371/.509 through the end of July... and then, shockingly, was demoted to Triple-A and replaced with previously forgotten Yankee Bob Cerv.
I can see why they called up Cerv -- the University of Nebraska stand-out was tearing up Triple-A, leading the American Association in batting average (.349), home runs (26), triples (21), RBIs (101), and total bases (261) -- but why demote Jensen, who had a 140 OPS+ in the majors? Maybe the Yankees felt the brash 23-year-old needed to be taken down a peg. In any event, Cerv hit just .214/.333/.250 in August and was sent back to Triple-A, but Jensen also was left down there. He hit .263/.344/.469 and was recalled after the Triple-A season ended, only getting into three games (he went 3-for-9).
Mantle, too, had started the season with the Yankees, and after hitting .260/.341/.423 through the middle of July, was sent down to Triple-A. But he hit .361/.445/.651 in 166 at-bats, and unlike Jensen was back in the bigs by August 24. He would play pretty much every game the rest of the season, hitting .284/.370/.495 in 95 at-bats.
The torch had clearly been passed -- Jensen was no longer the heir apparent to DiMaggio. In the World Series that year, Mantle was the starting right fielder, and Jensen wasn't even on the post-season roster.
Jensen was so disappointed with how the Yankees had treated him in 1951 that he talked to the San Francisco 49ers about switching to pro football, but ultimately decided to stick with baseball.
Never shy about what he said to reporters, Jensen told The Sporting News on October 24, 1951:
"I felt so badly about the treatment that I received from the Yankees that, although I was in New York at the end of the season, I didn't feel like sticking around to even watch the club play in any of the World's Series games."
"I do not feel the Yankees were justified in sending me to the minor leagues. When I was shipped to Kansas City, I was doing as good a job as any Yankee outfielder and better than some of them. I was hitting .296, which was ten points better than Hank Bauer and 30 points better than Joe DiMaggio, Gene Woodling and Mickey Mantle. Yet Casey Stengel didn't give me the chance I felt I deserved."
Despite blasting his manager in the press, Jensen was still the property of the Yankees. That off-season, teams were circling, hoping to pry away the talented but disgruntled outfielder. There were newspaper reports of offers from the St. Louis Browns, the Detroit Tigers, the Philadelphia Athletics, the Washington Senators, the Cleveland Indians, and the Boston Red Sox -- with one rumor being Ted Williams to the Bronx in exchange for Jensen and several other players. (A Red Sox scout called the rumored deal "a lot of hogwash.")
Sportswriters spent the off-season speculating whether DiMaggio would retire, and if he did, whether Jensen or Mantle would take over as the center fielder, as there were still concerns that Mantle, who had hurt his knee in the 1951 World Series, wouldn't be fully recovered by the start of the season.
On Opening Day, April 16, 1952, it was Jackie Jensen in center and Mickey Mantle in right. Jensen went 0-for-5 with a GIDP; Mantle, 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, and a stolen base! Seven games into the season, Jensen was 2-for-17 (.118) and found himself on the bench. He'd never play for the Yankees again. On May 3, the Golden Boy was traded to the Washington Senators along with Spec Shea, Jerry Snyder, and Archie Wilson in exchange for Irv Noren and Tom Upton.
In two years with the Senators, Jensen hit an impressive .276/.359/.407 (112 OPS+), but the team was terrible, and Jensen wasn't happy. Still just 26 years old, he later said he had almost quit after the 1953 season... particularly after a harrowing flight to Japan for a series of exhibition games with a squad of All-Stars that included Yankees Yogi Berra, Eddie Lopat, and Billy Martin. That experience gave Jensen a lifelong fear of flying, a phobia that became so intense eventually he could only fly with the help of sleeping pills... and a hypnotist!
He might have quit if not for the trade on December 9, 1953, that sent him to the Boston Red Sox for pitcher Mickey McDermott and outfielder Tom Umphlett. He was homesick, he hated flying, and he now had two little kids at home. Red Sox general manager Joe Cronin convinced Jensen to come to the Red Sox, telling him that Fenway Park was tailor made for his swing. Cronin was right: Jensen was a career .279/.369/.460 hitter, but .298/.400/.514 at Fenway.
It was in Boston that Jensen finally lived up to the hype, becoming a two-time All-Star and winning the A.L. MVP Award in 1958 and a Gold Glove in 1959. During his seven seasons in Boston, he hit .282/.374/.478 in 4,519 plate appearances. In his MVP season, Jensen hit .286/.396/.535 (148 OPS+) with 31 doubles, 35 home runs, and a league-leading 122 RBIs. During his peak with the Red Sox, 1954 to 1959, Jensen's average season was .285/.378/.490 (127 OPS+) with 28 doubles, 26 home runs, 111 RBIs, 14 stolen bases, and 3.6 bWAR. During those six seasons, no one in the American League -- not Mickey Mantle, not Ted Williams, not Al Kaline -- had more runs batted in than Jackie Jensen.
Of course, Mantle was the far better player -- even in Jensen's MVP season, Mantle had more runs, hits, home runs, walks, and a 188 OPS+ -- but Jensen's 127 OPS+ between 1954 and 1959 would have been an upgrade over the aging Hank Bauer's 110 OPS+ in right or the left field merry-go-round of Norm Siebern (113 OPS+), Irv Noren (107 OPS+), Enos Slaughter (103 OPS+), and previously forgotten Yankee Hector Lopez (101 OPS+). Casey Stengel would later say the Jensen trade was the worst one the Yankees had made while he was manager.
Despite his success, Jensen was sometimes booed by the Boston fans, just as they sometimes booed Ted Williams. There even was an article in Sport magazine, "What Do They Want From Jackie Jensen?", taking Red Sox fans to task for their unreasonably high demands from the Golden Boy. In 1956, in a game at Fenway Park against the Yankees, the hometown fans were razzing Jensen so much that teammates had to restrain him from going into the stands after a fan. Later that same game, Williams misplayed a wind-blown fly ball from Mantle, and the fans booed lustily. The very next play, Williams made a leaping catch at the scoreboard to rob Yogi Berra of a double. But Williams, still furious, spit into the crowd. He was later fined $5,000.
And Jackie was unhappy to be away from home. He and Zoe Ann had bought a house near Lake Tahoe, where they could both ski and golf year-round, as well as hit the casinos. They also had a home in Oakland, and a restaurant there, and each year Jensen hosted a pro-am golf tournament. But the marriage was struggling. Zoe Ann, once nationally known for her Olympic exploits, was frustrated to be a stay-at-home mom in the shadow of her famous husband, and Jackie became angry if she engaged in her favorite outdoor hobbies, suspecting there were men around.
Jensen's fear of flying also had become even more intense. Sometimes he was so drugged up that he had to be carried on and off the plane, fueling rumors that he was a drunk. Other times he took trains or even drove while his teammates flew.
Once again Jensen was talking about retirement, and in Spring Training 1957, the Red Sox allowed him to train with the San Francisco Seals, Boston's Triple-A team, rather than having to go to Florida. But he was still miserable. That year, he told Sports Illustrated:
“In baseball you get to the point where you don’t think you have a family. It just looks like I’m not built for this life like some ballplayers. You are always away from home and you’re lonesome, and as soon as I can, I intend to get out.”
The 32-year-old Jensen announced his retirement after the 1959 season, and he spent 1960 home with Zoe Ann and their children and running his restaurant. But he returned in 1961. After hitting just .130 in April, Jensen took a train from Detroit home to Reno, determined to quit once again. After a week away, he rejoined the team and had six hits in his next 10 at-bats. By the end of the season he was at .263/.350/.392, and he quit again. This time for good.
After leaving baseball, Jensen invested in real estate and a golf course, but lost most of his money. He then got a job working for a Lake Tahoe casino, was a national spokesman for Camel cigarettes, Wonder Bread, and Gillette, and even tried selling cars. Ironically, Jackie found himself on the road almost as much as he had been as a ballplayer. In 1963, he and Zoe Ann divorced, remarried, and then divorced again.
In 1967, Jensen became a TV sportscaster, married his producer Katharine Cortesi, and eventually teamed up with Keith Jackson calling college football games for ABC, and was a college baseball coach, first at the University of Nevada-Reno and then at the University of California. He managed the Red Sox team in the New York Penn League in 1970. In 1977, Jackie and Katharine moved to Virginia and started a Christmas tree farm while he coached baseball at a military academy. About five years later, on July 14, 1982, he died of a heart attack at age 55.
You Don't Know Jack(ie):
In 1958, Jensen told Sports Illustrated that the biggest thrill of his career wasn't being an All-American or an All-Star, it wasn't winning an MVP or a World Series. "The biggest is having played in the same outfield with both DiMaggio and Williams."

2023.05.31 21:27 Profecionallystupid Respect Percy Jackson Thread Part 2 [All] (Long)

Awhile back I made a post about how powerful Percy and how powerful he is. If you want you can view it here. This is a part two of sorts and will feature:
Corrections to the original post, a debunk, Curse of Achilles, and Eye of Nekhbet, Tl;dr end.
Correction:
I said that the explosion from the Mt. Saint Helens nearly killed him. However I reread this feat after it was pointed out that it was the exertion of power, not the explosion that nearly killed him. First the feat:
Afterward, I could never describe what happened. An explosion, a tidal wave, a whirlwind of power simultaneously catching me up and blasting me downward into the lava. Fire and water collided, superheated steam, and I shot upward from the heart of the volcano in a huge explosion, just one piece of flotsam thrown free by a million pounds of pressure. The last thing I remember before losing conscious was flying, flying so high Zeus would never have forgiven me, and then beginning to fall, smoke and fire and water streaming from me. I was a comet hurtling toward the earth. The Battle of the Labyrinth
Howerever, if you go forward a little bit you will read this.
That’s the last thing I wanted him to say. I hadn’t been in control of myself in that mountain. I’d released so much energy I’d almost vaporized myself, drained all the life out of me. The Battle of the Labyrinth
It drained him so much that he described it as draining him more than anything else he's ever done:
“Holy Poseidon,” I muttered. I looked as if I’d lost twenty pounds I couldn’t afford to lose. On the other hand, I really was weak. I couldn’t stay on my feet more than a few hours. Whatever I’d done in Mount St. Helens had drained me like nothing else I’d ever expected. The Battle of Labyrinth
However that wasn't an effect of the explosion, rather an effect from causing the explosion. So that increases his durability past what I originally said. Which I will recalculate after the next correction:
Percy reacting to the bullets. First, the quote:
They stepped from the trees on either side of the road. Instead of gray camouflage, they were now wearing blue New Mexico State Police uniforms...They drew their handguns The first skeleton fired. Time slowed down. I won't say I could see the bullet, but I could feel its path, the same way I felt water currents in the ocean. I deflected it off the edge of my blade and kept charging. Zoe and Bianca fired at their heads point-blank Six skeletons raised their guns. The other five came forward with batons. Fifty feet away. Forty feet... The other skeletons opened fire. I raised my lion coat for protection, but I didn't need it.
The Titan's Curse
Something I didn't think about was that the were equipped with New Mexico State Police equipment. Since they were using their gear, they were either using Smith & Wesson .357/.45 or the Glock 22/31. They both have have firing speed of 370-375 m/s.
The calculation for this feat was done here. u/FalseTrajectory calculated that it would require a reaction of 10.7 milliseconds to react to this speed. Which is a bit more inline with his lighting reaction feat. Which would require a reaction speed of 16 milliseconds.
Now for a corrected scaling. Here is what I originally said:
Scaling: So for durability, City level. While surviving the St. Helens explosion was impressive, it nearly killed him and Calypso had to nurse him back to health. Physical Strength is 4-5 tons. More than likely higher. Speed is also impressive and he is capable of running at well above peak human. His skills can't be scaled but are impressive. For his actual powers. He is definitely small mountain level. However, this one is debatable.
My First Post
For reaction, which I forgot to mention at all, I will say 10-16 milliseconds. Keep in mind that the average human can react at 250 milliseconds
And for the durability, it is getting buffed from city level to volcano level. I am going to move up to volcano level. The reason: he was still able to destroy Mt. Saint Helens. Mt. Saint Helens is a stratovolcano. They can get as tall as 10,000 feet (3048 meters). Mt. Saint Helens caps out at 9,677 feet (2,950 meters). The average volcano is 10000 ft or 3048 meters. So for that, I can say with confidence that he is volcano level.
And now, a debunk that is going to get me some hate: Percy can't blood bend. Yes, I know about him controlling the poison in Tartarus. And yes, he did that through controlling the water in the poison. However, he hasn't been shown to be able to control blood. And to be honest, we never will. I know it is a logical and easy jump to make, but for now that is only theoretical.
Next, Curse of Achilles Percy.
Since this is a amplified version of Percy, because of this, he scales above all of the previously mentioned feats. Although, an argument could be made that HoO feats shouldn't count, I say they should considering that was a Percy without the Curse, which amplifies his powers.
Some feats for this version of Percy:
It was the stupidest thing I've ever done. A hundred muskets fired at me, point blank. All of them missed. I crashed into their line and started hacking with Riptide. Bayonets jabbed. Swords slashed. Guns reloaded and fired. Nothing touched me. I whirled through the ranks, slashing redcoats to dust, one after the other. My mind went on autopilot: stab, dodge, cut, deflect, roll. Riptide was no longer a sword. It was an arc of pure destruction. I broke through the enemy line and leaped into the black chariot. Hades raised his staff. A bolt of dark energy shot toward me, but I deflected it off my blade and slammed into him. The god and I both tumbled out of the chariot. The next thing I knew, my knee was planted on Hades's chest. I was holding the collar of his royal robes in one fist, and the tip of my sword was poised right over his face. Silence. The army did nothing to defend their master. I glanced back and realized why. There was nothing left of them but weapons in the sand and piles of smoking, empty uniforms. I had destroyed them all. Hades swallowed. "Now, Jackson, listen here. . . ." He was immortal. There was no way I could kill him, but gods can be wounded. I knew that firsthand, and I figured a sword in the face wouldn't feel too good. "Just because I'm a nice person," I snarled, "I'll let you go. But first, tell me about that trap!" Hades melted into nothing, leaving me holding empty black robes. I cursed and got to my feet, breathing heavily. Now that the danger was over, I realized how tired I was. Every muscle in my body ached. I looked down at my clothes. They were slashed to pieces and full of bullet holes, but I was fine. Not a mark on me.
The Last Olympian
While he thinks that they were all missing, they were actually hitting him. He was just not registering it, and not only that, besides his clothes, he was unharmed.
He was temporarily able to fight Hyperion. Even causing the air to get charged with ozone:
I concentrated on the tidal wave and forced it to reverse. Just before impact, I jumped upward on a jet of water. "AHHHHH!" The waves smashed into Hyperion and he went under, his light extinguished. I landed on the lake's surface just as Hyperion struggled to his feet. His golden armor was dripping wet. His eyes no longer blazed, but they still looked murderous. "You will burn, Jackson!" he roared. Our swords met again and the air charged with ozone.
The Last Olympian
He was able to fight with Kronos and survive hits that shook the Williamsburg Bridge:
I met his first strike with Riptide. The impact shook the entire bridge, but I held my ground. Kronos's smile wavered. With a yell, I kicked his legs out from under him. His scythe skittered across the pavement. I stabbed downward, but he rolled aside and regained his footing. His scythe flew back to his hands.
The Last Olympian
He was even able to tank hits that break the cables of said bridge and was only mildly disorientated:
He struck the bridge with the butt of his scythe, and a wave of pure force blasted me backward. Cars went careening. Demigods—even Luke's own men—were blown off the edge of the bridge. Suspension cords whipped around, and I skidded halfway back to Manhattan. I got unsteadily to my feet.
The Last Olympian
Get sent back 300 yards (900 feet) by a blast from Hyperion with enough force to break every bone is his body if it weren't for the Curse of Achilles:
A wall of force slammed me through the air—just like the trick Kronos had pulled on the bridge. I sailed backward about three hundred yards and smashed into the ground. If it hadn't been for my new invulnerability, I would've broken every bone in my body.
The Last Olympian
The average 15 year old weighs 123.5 lb. (56.02 kg). It takes 4,000 N or 899.2358 ibs to break a human femur (it is the strongest bone in the human body and the impact would have broken all of his bones). That means he flew at a minimum of 3000 m/s. With this knowledge, we can calculate that the impact or 413172 pounds of force.
He was able to kill a Gorgon with a single slice of Riptide and later knock out another Gorgon with a single hit from a silver platter:
Gah!” Euryale stormed toward her sister. Percy took the opening. He grabbed Stheno’s platter, scattering poisoned Cheese ’n' Wieners, and slashed Riptide across Euryale's waist, cutting her in half. He raised the platter, and Stheno found herself facing her own greasy reflection. “Medusa!” she screamed. Her sister Euryale had crumbled to dust, but she was already starting to re-form, like a snowman un-melting. “Stheno, you fool!” she gurgled as her half-made face rose from the mound of dust. “That’s just your own reflection! Get him!” Percy slammed the metal tray on top of Stheno’s head, and she passed out cold.
The Son of Neptune
The same Gorgons was unscaved by a hit from a truck in the fast lane and getting dragged for a hundred yards:
“Gotcha!” shrieked Euryale. Percy turned as an arrow thudded into her forehead. Euryale tumbled into the fast lane. A truck slammed into her and carried her backward a hundred yards, but she just climbed over the cab, pulled the arrow out of her head, and launched back into the air…
The Son of Neptune
The average speed limit of a highway in California is 55m/h or 88.5139 k/h. The most common car to drive one the west coast of the US is the Toyota Tacoma. These can weigh anywhere from 3,915 to 4,550 lbs. Or 1775.8141 Kg to 2063.845. With all this knowledge we can calculate the force of impact would be around 263933 to 306742 lbf.
Eye of Nekhbet:
Being Nekhbet's Avatar gave him the access to thousands of years of knowledge:
Thousands of years of memories flooded my mind. I saw pyramids rising from the desert, the sun glittering on the Nile River. I heard priests chanting in the cool shadows of a temple, and smelled myrrh incense on the air. I soared over the cities of Ancient Egypt, circling the palace of the pharaoh. I was the vulture goddess Nekhbet—protector of the king, shield of the strong, scourge of the weak and dying.
Crown of Ptolemy
He is able to see on multiple layers of reality:
I saw layers of reality, like strata of glowing multicolored jelly, plunging down into infinity. On the surface, where the mortal and immortal worlds met, Setne was whipping the Duat into a storm—churning waves of color and frothy white plumes of smoke.
Crown of Ptolemy
He has enhanced strength:
I hefted the sword. Like so many I’d tried, it didn’t feel right in my hands. The hilt was too heavy for my wrist. The single-edged blade was curved awkwardly, like a giant hook knife. I tried a jab and nearly lost my balance. “This one doesn’t look like yours,” I told Carter. “Isn’t yours called a kopis?” “Mine is a khopesh,” Carter said. “The original Egyptian version. What you’re holding is a kopis…
Crown of Ptolemy (pre Eye of Nekhbet)
Setne, drop the crown.” I raised my kopis, which didn’t feel heavy with Nekhbet’s power flowing through me.
Crown of Ptolemy (post Eye of Nekhbet)
His reaction time is enhanced even further:
Thanks to Nekhbet, I realized what was going to happen a split second before it did, which saved our lives.
Crown of Ptolemy
He can tank an explosion capable of leveling a soccer field:
He strutted around the soccer field an black bell-bottomed slacks, a frilly white shirt, and a glittery purple trench coat-all of which clashed with his newly combined red and white crown.
Crown of Ptolemy
A ring of fire exploded outward from Setne.
A shell of purple light surrounded me, and the flames rolled harmlessly over translucent wings that that now extended on either side of me.
The Crown of Ptolemy
The fire blackened the entire field, instantly turning wet mud into steaming cracked clay.
The Crown of Ptolemy
The fire was so hot that it melted Celestial Bronze:
My new sword was a steaming line of bronze slag on the ground.
The Crown of Ptolemy
This Percy can fly:
Before Setne could finish casting his spell, I grabbed him in my spectral claws and carried him into the sky
The Last Olympian
Tl;dr: Percy has volcano level durability. He also volcano level powers. He can lift up 4-5 tons. He is faster than peak human. His skill is amazing.
Curse of Achilles Percy is even more powerful than base Percy so should be able to be moved up, however we never get the chance to see this (at its fullest) as Rick takes this away because it was to OP.
Eye of Nekhbet Percy is honestly, in my opinion, more powerful and has greater variety than CoA Percy. And of course, this is perhaps the most experienced Percy we see. However, Percy once again has this power taken away before it can be used to its fullest.
What are your thoughts? Has this post made you see Percy as weaker or stronger than you did before? What are your thoughts? Finally, who should I scale next?
Respect the Son Of The Sea, Percy Jackson!

2023.05.30 21:11 superbomb122 I simulated u/TheGeorgeKelly's Bizarro-verse Super Bowls to see who would really win

Credit goes to u/TheGeorgeKelly for the original post. I absolutely loved the alternate history concept, but I found the methodology for the winners and lack of scores a bit unsatisfying. To resolve this for my stat junkie brain, I booted up WhatIfSports simulation and spent the morning simulating every Super Bowl since 1970s with the runner's-up to find out who really comes out on top in Bizarro World. 2022-23 San Francisco 49ers (5) Cincinnati Bengals 19-13 SF RB Christian McCaffrey: 15 att, 144 yds, 2 rec, 10 yds
Some notes:
- Most rings: 49ers, Rams (5)
- Most losses: 49ers (6)
- Most appearances without a win: Browns (3)
- Most appearances without a loss: Jets (4)
- Most appearances: 49ers (11)
- No appearances: Giants, Texans
- In real life, the Giants have not lost a post-merger conference championship game, while the Jets have not won a post-merger championship game. The opposite is true here, with the Jets also having 4 post-merger rings like the Giants IRL. Funny how that worked out
- The Vikings' 1978 Super Bowl win came from their kicker making a 36 yarder as time expired in regulation and then a 46 yarder as time expired in OT. Yep, this is the Bizarro world alright.
- 2 MVPs in losing efforts (Mel Blount and Ricky Watters)
- 4 defensive MVPs (Mel Blount, Fred Dean, LeRoy Irvin, Chris Jones)
- Mark Sanchez has as many rings as Ben Roethlisberger and Brett Favre and more than Aaron Rodgers, John Elway, and Peyton Manning combined. The same goes for Jimmy G, but that's less funny.
- Most wins by a QB: Joe Montana (1983-84, 1990-91, 1993-94), Tom Brady (2012-13, 2013-14, 2015-16)
- The state of California won 8 Super Bowls in 12 years from 1973-74 to 1985-86. This includes the Rams dynasty you never knew existed. Go look up Lawrence McCutcheon. Right now.
- The Lions won a Super Bowl. That is their most recent playoff win.
- The Bucs got a ring in year 4, the Jags got 2 by year 5. Wild performances from expansion teams.
- The Cowboys still haven't made a Super Bowl since the 90s.
- I think I prefer reality to losing 4 Super Bowls in 7 years as a zoomer Packers fan.

2023.05.30 15:28 thegarmeyo69420 Ignace Tonené

Ignace Tonené Algonquin chief (1840/41–1916)
Ignace Tonené (Nias) (1840 or 1841 – March 15, 1916), also known by his Ojibwe name Maiagizis ('right/correct sun') was a Teme-Augama Anishnabai chief, fur trader, and gold prospector in Upper Canada. He was a prominent employee of the Hudson's Bay Company.
Quick Facts Born, Died ... Ignace Tonené Tonené with a rifle, standing on a porch Tonené in 1909 Born 1840 or 1841 Near Lake Temagami, Upper Canada Died March 15, 1916 (age 74–76) Near Lake Abitibi, Quebec Burial place Near Mount Kanasuta, Quebec Nationality Temagami First Nation, Canadian Other names Nias, Maiagizis Occupation(s) First Nations chief, fur trader, gold prospector Employer Hudson's Bay Company Known for Teme-Augama Anishnabai leadership Title Chief Spouses Angèle
(m. 1860; died 1869) Elisabeth Pikossekat
(m. 1871) Children 7 Family White Bear (Wabimakwa) (grandfather) Close Tonené was the elected deputy chief before being the lead chief and later the life chief of his community. In his role as deputy, he negotiated with the Canadian federal government and the Ontario provincial government, advocating for his community to receive annual financial support from both. His attempts to secure land reserves for his community were thwarted by the Ontario premier Oliver Mowat.
Tonené's prospecting triggered a 1906 gold rush and the creation of Kerr Addison Mines Ltd., although one of his claims was stolen from him by white Canadian prospectors.
Early life Maiagizis was most commonly known by his English name Ignace Tonené, often shortened to Nias. He was born in 1840 or 1841 near Lake Temagami in the Temagami First Nation in Upper Canada. He was the eldest son of François Kabimigwune and Marian, and grandson of Temagami chief White Bear (Wabimakwa). His brother was Frank White Bear (died 1930).
Career and community leadership Tonené worked for the Hudson's Bay Company from 1857, delivering mail between its trading posts at Lake Timiskaming and Lake Temagami. He also worked at Fort Témiscamingue where he likely learned French.
Temagami leadership Around 1868 Tonené was elected as deputy chief (anike ogima) taking over the role from his father. In 1877 Tonené filed a land claim concerning the Temagami region with the Parry Sound federal Indian Agent. In 1878 Tonené took over as head chief. He oversaw the adoption of potato farming and cattle raising. As chief, Tonené was noted for his principles, advocating the community that debts must be paid, including to the Hudson's Bay Company. Unlike other First Nations surrounding Lake Huron, Tonené's community was not a party to the Robinson Treaties. The treaties were two 1850 formal agreements between Ojibwa chiefs and the Crown in which chiefs relinquished land in exchange for immediate and ongoing financial payments. Tonené advocated for redress and support for his people. Tonené was concerned about the impact of lumberjacks and their impact on the natural resources. He advocated to federal Indian agent Charles Skene for the provision of an annuity payment and the creation of reserve.
During a speech in January 1879, Tonené warned his community: "The white men were coming closer and closer every year and the deer and furs were becoming scarcer and scarcer ... so that in a few years more Indians could not live by hunting alone." He continued to press the government for federal financial support and the creation of a reserve through a series of meetings and letters written in Anishinaabe, which resulted in an acknowledgment from Indian agent Deputy Superintendent Lawrence Vankoughnet in 1880 that approximately 2,800 square miles of Temagami land were indeed unceded. Initially Canadian Prime Minister John A. Macdonald deferred the matter to the Ontario Premier, but in 1883 the Department of Indian Affairs agreed to an annual payment to the nation. The prices were comparable to the amounts received by other First Nations who were parties to Robinson Huron Treaty. In 1884 Tonené convened a tribal council on Bear Island to discuss the potential location for the reserve; the community agreed it should be about 100 square miles surrounding Cross Lake and at the south end of Lake Temagami. The federal government agreed to the proposal, but the Ontario Premier Oliver Mowat, who had a reputation for hostility towards to Indigenous treaty rights, blocked the land transfer, primarily concerned about the value of the red and white pine lumber at the location.: 38 It was not until 1943 that lands were finally set aside for the Temagami, and the official creation of the Bear Island Reserve not occur until 1971.
In 1888, after Oliver Mowat's refusal to create the reserve, and as his chiefdom ended, Tonené moved his family to land between Lake Opasatica and Lake Dasserat near Abitibi, Quebec. In 1889 he travelled to Bear Island to meet Indian agent Thomas Walton and ask for seeds and farming equipment for his community. Tonené hunted and trapped to feed his family, and in 1903 starting prospecting, motivated by the recent silver discovery at Cobalt, Ontario. His successful finds of gold instigated the Larder Lake gold rush of 1906, according to the Canadian Mining Journal. The gold that he discovered at McGarry later became the Kerr-Addison mine, and he staked at least one claim there which was subsequently stolen from him by white settlers.: 43 The Tonene Old Indian Mining Company issued a prospectus just prior to the start of World War I, but sources do not indicate if Tonené benefited from the company.
Tonené was succeeded as head chief by John Paul, though Tonené continued to hunt and trap in Abitibi country. Following the 1893 death of John Paul, Tonené once again became head chief, and from 1910 he was the honorary or life chief and the primary advisor to the new head chief, his younger brother Frank White Bear.
Personal life In 1860 Tonené married Angèle, the daughter of former Temagami band chief Nebenegwune. They had two sons and two daughters and she died in childbirth in 1869. In 1871 Tonené married Elisabeth Pikossekat of Timiskaming band and they had three daughters.
Both of Tonené's sons died before adulthood, although his five daughters all lived into adulthood, married and had children.
Death and legacy Tonené died on March 15, 1916, near Lake Abitibi, Quebec. He was buried close to Mount Kanasuta, Quebec, near the Quebec–Ontario border. The location of his burial was later turned into a gravel pit and then a community dump.: 43
In 2016 Tournene Lake, south of Bear Lake and north of Larder Lake, was officially renamed Chief Tonene Lake.

Batista tells Rey he won’t trust Eddie at No Mercy to not cheat and won’t trust him either because it’s every man for himself! Chris Benoit (SmackDown) vs Shawn Michaels (Raw)
(Both men have unfinished business. With Shawn Michaels owning two victories over him, Chris Benoit says that’s something he hates because it makes him look like he’s not on HBK's level when deep down, he knows he actually is. Benoit who’s grieving over the loss of his best friend promises that it won’t take away his professionalism going into this match. Michaels says that he respects the hell out of Chris Benoit, would love to wrestle him again like he did twice earlier in the year and wants to put on a show that Eddie Guerrero would be proud of. Chris Benoit wins in a 30 minute classic after forcing Michaels to submit to The Crossface. After the match, both men shake hand, hug and Michaels raises Benoit’s hand in victory.)
Team SmackDown (Batista, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, JBL & Matt Hardy) vs Team Raw (John Cena, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Kane & The Big Show)
(Brand Warfare! Vince McMahon wants to see competition and tells Eric Bischoff and Teddy Long to pair 5 of their best to face each other at Survivor Series. Vince says that whoever loses, the GM of that show will be on probation! Bischoff announces his team will be captained by the WWE Champion John Cena, who’ll be teaming with Triple H, Kurt Angle, Kane and The Big Show. Long announces his team will be captained by Eddie Guerrero who’s then replaced as captain by Batista because of his sad death, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, JBL and Matt Hardy who wins a Battle Royal to be the last member of the team. For weeks, the Raw and SmackDown roster both invade each other’s brands, brawl and still have the iconic parking lot fight in the build up. Animosity sets between both teams with Batista and Rey despising Orton and Bradshaw while Cena has issues with Angle and Triple H has issues with The Big Show. This match is a Survivor Series classic with two men remaining. John Cena and Randy Orton. Thanks to Bob Orton, Randy capitalises, hits an RKO on Cena and pins him to win the match! The SmackDown roster comes down to celebrate with the Legend Killer until… GONG!! Out comes some druids with a casket and they raise the casket. Lightning then sets the casket on fire and out of the casket comes… The Undertaker! Orton looks utterly terrified and retreats, Taker beats the hell out of a bunch of jobbers and Survivor Series draws to a close with Taker sending Randy a message… he’s back!)
(Sole Survivor: Randy Orton)
Notes:
(The trial of Eric Bischoff culminates in him being fired as the Raw GM.)
(An 8-man tournament starts on the SmackDown after Survivor Series to determine the new World Heavyweight Champion at Armageddon. Batista and JBL advance to face one another at the PPV.)
Armageddon 2005 (SmackDown)
Date: 18/12/05
Location: Dunkin’ Donuts Center, Providence, Rhode Island
Rey Mysterio vs Mr.Kennedy
Cruiserweight Championship:
Chavo Guerrero (c) vs Jamie Noble
Champion vs Champion Match:
Kane & Big Show (World Tag Team Champions) vs MNM w/Melina (Tag Team Champions)
United States Championship:
Booker T (c) w/Sharmell vs Chris Benoit (By Disqualification)
(Chris Benoit invokes his rematch clause for the United States Championship. Benoit says that Booker T disgusts him because he thought better of him. Benoit then promises to regain his championship from someone who’s proved he’s nothing but a coward who hides behind his wife’s skirt. Booker T says that Benoit is a punk who stole what was his at SummerSlam and he rightfully took it back off him! Benoit is on the verge of winning the championship until Sharmell kicks him low and causes a disqualification to help her husband keep his title.)
Vacant World Heavyweight Championship:
Batista vs JBL
(After getting to the final, Batista promises to win back the World Heavyweight Championship just like Eddie Guerrero would want and promises to dedicate his victory to him. JBL says that Batista is living in a fantasy land and that Eddie would want a true Wrestling God in him to be the new World Heavyweight Champion! Despite trying his best with heel tactics, JBL comes up short as The Animal counters, delivers a Batista Bomb and pins him to once again become the World Heavyweight Champion.)
Hell in a Cell Match:
The Undertaker vs Randy Orton w/"Cowboy" Bob Orton
(After returning at Survivor Series, The Undertaker promises that he will have vengeance. He tells Orton they’ll have one final battle inside his playground… Hell in a Cell! Orton tries to back out of it for weeks as Taker plays mind games with lightning, possesses Josh Matthews during an interview, Randy sees him in a mirror etc. The Undertaker punishes Orton for being a thorn in his side for the majority of 2005 and beats him in a bloody encounter to close out the feud.)
Notes:
(It might be controversial to have Batista win at Armageddon when it’s obvious he’s injured and going to be out soon but I feel that giving him the title unpredictably and still not being pinned is a long term benefit for where I go with him upon return. There’s also another reason I have Batista win and you’ll see when the title is vacated again…)
(Batista gets storyline injured in a Steel Cage Match against MNM after being attacked by Mark Henry on the last SmackDown of 2005.)
(The World Heavyweight Championship is once again vacated and the new champion is determined in a Battle Royal. The winner of the Battle Royal is... Randy Orton! Yep, that’s why JBL doesn’t go over at Armageddon! The heel I’m putting the championship on is The Legend Killer 😁.)
(Triple H turns on Ric Flair and beats the holy hell out of him on the last Raw of 2005.)

2023.05.28 04:11 ArchDukeNemesis Every NWA, WCW & WWE world heavyweight championship run from 1904-2023 combined, if every champion held the belt once.

To celebrate the "Return" of the "Big Gold Belt" on Raw, I thought I'd make a history combining all title runs from the first world heavyweight championship, through it's time in the NWA, its two off shoots in WCW and its appropriation by WWE. (After emerging victorious at Armageddon, JBL celebrates with his buddies and has a huge party. The party is cut short though by Theodore Long. Teddy tells JBL that he no doubt thinks he’s clever after what transpired at Armageddon and JBL laughingly tells him he certainly is. Teddy says not clever enough because he’s had a word with The Big Show and he’s promised him a rematch. JBL however isn’t happy, saying he’s finished with Big Show. Long makes the news even worse for Bradshaw and tells him he’s making it a match The Cabinet can’t interfere… A Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match! JBL is outraged, terrified and tries to weasel his way out of this. The same match as in real life at No Way Out happens and so does the finish where JBL escapes luckily by the skin of his teeth to retain his United States Championship in a very violent encounter.)
WWE Championship:
Kurt Angle (c) vs Eddie Guerrero
(Eddie Guerrero wins a Battle Royal on the last SmackDown of 2004 to earn one last opportunity against Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship. Eddie says with his ankle fully healed unlike heading into Survivor Series, he’s going to punch Angle’s teeth down his throat, reclaim what’s his and head into WrestleMania as the WWE Champion! Angle tells Eddie that he’ll still beat him whether his ankle is fine or not because he’s that freaking good. He also tells Eddie that his fairytale dream of going into WrestleMania as the WWE Champion will be crushed at the Royal Rumble. In the final chapter of this feud, Kurt Angle wins after delivering an Angle Slam to Guerrero from the top rope.)
Loser leaves Raw Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Triple H w/Ric Flair (c) vs Randy Orton
(Randy Orton invokes his rematch clause and proposes a condition that the loser must leave Monday Night Raw. The Game accepts and says the giant pain in the ass who’s annoyed him while they were in Evolution who still continues to annoy him will finally be gone from his sight. Triple H promises to beat the hell out of him one last time and says that he can’t wait to do so. Orton meanwhile says that Triple H can not only kiss goodbye to Raw but most importantly his World Heavyweight Championship. Ric Flair hands Triple H brass knuckles while the referee isn’t looking and The Game smashes Orton over the face, busts him open, delivers a Pedigree and pins him to retain the World Heavyweight Championship to remain on Monday Night Raw.)
Royal Rumble Match:
Batista (#28) wins by last eliminating John Cena (#25)
Royal Rumble Notes:
The final four are Batista, John Cena, Edge & Shawn Michaels
Batista eliminates John Cena right after Cena eliminates Edge meaning Vince McMahon doesn’t have to come down and tear his damn quad.
Note:
(After the Royal Rumble, Batista teases going after the WWE Championship. However, on the Raw before the No Way Out PPV, Batista chooses to go after the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 21, the same iconic thumbs down to Triple H and Ric Flair happens and The Animal turns face.)
No Way Out 2005 (SmackDown)

WWE Tag Team Championship:
The Basham Brothers (c) vs The Dudley Boyz
WWE Championship:
Kurt Angle (c) vs Rey Mysterio
(Rey Mysterio wins a beat the clock challenge to earn this match against Kurt Angle for the WWE Championship. Rey says that he’s worked so hard since arriving in the company and it would be a dream come true to achieve a lifelong goal which is becoming the WWE Champion. Angle doesn’t really take Rey seriously and claims that lost little children like Rey can’t win the big one. Angle promises to snap Rey’s ankle and walk out of his hometown still the WWE Champion. Mysterio puts up a major fight in a 25 minute classic which Angle doesn’t see coming but Angle’s experience prevails as he retains via submission. Rey Mysterio looks a million bucks and shows he’s capable of potentially being a world champion one day.)
Six-Pack Challenge - Winner faces the WWE Champion at WrestleMania 21:
Eddie Guerrero vs Booker T vs John Cena vs JBL vs The Big Show vs The Undertaker
(Now that Batista has chosen to face Triple H, the winner of this match knows that they’ll be facing the WWE Champion one on one at WrestleMania instead of potentially in a Triple Threat Match. Theodore Long books this match because all 6 men make a claim as to why they should challenge for the title. This match is of course chaos. The Undertaker looks like he’s about to win by taking out JBL but then someone appears… Randy Orton! Orton hits The Deadman with an RKO and retreats through the crowd. JBL is laughing but little does he know. John Cena is about to end the laughing. Cena delivers an FU to Bradshaw and punches his ticket to WrestleMania 21 against Kurt Angle!)

Inaugral Money in the Bank Ladder Match:
Chris Jericho vs William Regal vs Shelton Benjamin vs Edge vs Christian w/Tyson Tomko vs Kane
United States Championship - The Cabinet is banned from ringside:
JBL (c) vs Booker T
(After No Way Out, Booker T says that he wants a shot at the United States Championship because someone needs to shut JBL up. JBL says Booker will get his match, as long as he can beat Orlando Jordan! Booker accepts and Theodore Long raises the stakes. He tells JBL that if Orlando Jordan doesn’t beat Booker T then The Cabinet will be banned from ringside at WrestleMania! JBL is furious. Bradshaw tries to cost Booker T the match against Jordan but it doesn’t work and Booker beats Orlando Jordan meaning he’s all by himself at WrestleMania. Booker T promises to kick that sucka JBL’s head off at WrestleMania meanwhile Bradshaw says he’ll show why he calls himself a Wrestling God! Booker T wins the title after delivering a Scissors Kick, even despite JBL’s heel tactic attempts to try and escape with the title.)
The Undertaker vs Randy Orton
(Randy Orton explains his actions at No Way Out. Orton says the best way to make a name for himself on SmackDown was to go after the biggest legend on the brand, The Undertaker! Orton says that he’s the Legend Killer and he’ll further establish that name once he beats The Undertaker at WrestleMania and ends his undefeated streak. The Undertaker is pissed that Orton cost him an opportunity to compete for the WWE Championship so he accepts the challenge and tells Orton that he’s just dug a huge grave for himself and the supposed “Legend Killer” will Rest in Peace at WrestleMania. The Undertaker wins this match despite Orton coming close to go 13-0 at WrestleMania.)
Women’s Championship:
Trish Stratus (c) vs Victoria
Piper’s Pit Segment:
(Roddy Piper who’s just been inducted into the Hall of Fame hosts Piper’s Pit. He’s interrupted by Muhammad Hassan & Daivari. Both men claim that it’s a shambles they aren’t on the WrestleMania card. Piper tells them they aren’t on the card because they’re spoilt, little jackasses. The heels attack Piper although he’s then saved by an old enemy…Hulk Hogan! Hogan evens the odds for his WrestleMania 1 opponent, goes into Hulkamania mode by delivering a boot and a leg drop to Daivari. Hogan and Piper raise each other’s hands and give the fans a great nostalgic moment.)
Shawn Michaels vs Chris Benoit
(Face vs face. Two great wrestlers who’ve never faced each other one on one who both want to steal the show. Chris Benoit challenges Shawn Michaels to this match at WrestleMania 21 and The Showstopper accepts. Chris Benoit says that he wants to beat the self-proclaimed Mr. WrestleMania to further establish himself as the best technical wrestler on the planet meanwhile Michaels says he respects Benoit but whenever he needs to win a match like he does here to prove he’s still one of the main men, he’ll have no hesitation kicking Benoit’s teeth down his throat. In the build up, both men try to one up one another when they get paired together in a few tag team matches. This match is a 25 minute classic with Shawn Michaels coming out on top in the end after numerous near falls and moments you thought one of them was going to submit. Both men shake hands after the match.)
Hollywood Battle Royal:
The Big Show wins by last eliminating Snitsky
WWE Championship:
Kurt Angle (c) vs John Cena
(A match 3 years in the making happens at WrestleMania 21. John Cena says after his win at No Way Out that this is the rematch he’s been waiting for since he first appeared in the WWE. Cena says he’s now more experienced, stronger and will beat Kurt Angle at WrestleMania for the WWE Championship! Angle says just like on his debut, Cena will come up short to the Olympic Champion but this time, he’ll break Cena’s ankle as well as his dream at WrestleMania. Cena says Angle might’ve won on his debut match, but he barely did and this time he’ll not be as lucky and that’s a promise. John Cena gets his crowning moment after hitting Angle with two FU’s to win his first WWE Championship! Cena celebrates with the fans after the match and leaves The Staples Centre to a huge ovation.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Triple H (c) w/Ric Flair vs Batista
(We get the same build up and the same face turn as in real life where the crowd pops loud. Batista says he turned on The Game because just like the fans, he’s fed up with Triple H reigning terror and was done being manipulated by The Game. Batista says he’s going to destroy his former mentor to win his first major championship which is a lifelong goal of his. Triple H tells Batista that he’s nothing but an ungrateful bastard who he and Ric Flair created and by god he’s going to finish him by embarrassing him at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Batista just like in real life beats a bloody Triple H clean after delivering a Batista Bomb to win the World Heavyweight Championship. WrestleMania 21 draws to a close with another new star born.)
Backlash 2005 (Raw)
Date: 1/5/05
Location: Verizon Wireless Arena, Manchester, New Hampshire
WWE World Tag Team Championship:
Muhammad Hassan & Daivari (c) vs The Hurricane & Rosey
Women’s Championship:
Trish Stratus (c) vs Christy Hemme
Intercontinental Championship:
Shelton Benjamin (c) vs Christian w/Tyson Tomko vs Chris Jericho vs Kane
Eugene vs William Regal
(William Regal turns on Eugene after WrestleMania 21, claiming he’s nothing but a dumb bastard who was holding him back. Regal wins clean via submission.)
Two-out-of-Three Falls Match:
Shawn Michaels vs Chris Benoit (2-1)
(After WrestleMania, Chris Benoit says that Shawn Michaels was the better man on the night and he has no complaints. Benoit however says they stole the damn show and asks Michaels if he’d be up for doing it again at Backlash! Michaels accepts Benoit’s offer and claims not only will they steal the show but it’ll be the same outcome as WrestleMania, him coming out on top. Benoit disputes that and offers to up the stakes, requesting a Two-out-of-Three Falls Match. In a fantastic contest once again between 2 great wrestlers, Shawn Michaels wins 2-1 via a roll up in the last fall. After the match, Edge attacks Michaels with his Money in the Bank briefcase and hits him with a Spear before walking away.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Batista (c) vs Triple H w/Ric Flair
(Triple H invokes his rematch clause at Backlash for the World Heavyweight Championship. The Game says that Batista’s win at WrestleMania was a fluke, he’s a flash in the pan just like Randy Orton was and he promises to finish The Animal and his fairytale with the fans for good at Backlash. Batista promises to show his win at WrestleMania wasn’t a fluke and that he’s here to stay. Triple H uses heel tactics during the match by hitting Batista with a low blow when the referee isn’t looking, Pedigrees him and pins him 1,2… kick out! Triple H can’t believe Batista has kicked out after all of that and neither can Flair. The crowd pop and rally behind Batista. Triple H then goes for another Pedigree but Batista counters, hits him with a spinebuster, and punches Flair who jumps on the apron and delivers a Batista Bomb to Triple H to win this match and retain his World Heavyweight Championship!)
And that’s part 38! Phew, that was long but it was great to share that with all of you people on here who’ve been great to me ever since I started doing this project. The project only grows from here that’s a promise! I’ll be back very soon for part 39 where we’ll see Batista and Triple H enter Satan’s Structure to close out their feud, Eddie Guerrero turn heel and of course the beginning of the very real and personal feud between Edge and Matt Hardy! Stay tuned!

The 1932 Election & 1936 Democratic-Labour Primary & 1936 Liberal Primary
“And we can now call the state of Michigan for Herbert Hoover, the President of the United States. The new total stands at 574 for the President, none for the Senator”, were the aghast words that rang out from the mouth of New York Times Reporter Hugh Richard, into the homes of every American in the country. Former President Eugene Debs sat in silence, his trembling hands covering his mouth from screaming at Senator Thomas Pope, the party’s nominee for President, sitting adjacent to him. Al Smith sat next to him, comforting the Senator as he looked down with his hands in his head. Former President Upton Sinclair had already downed a full bottle of Jack Daniel’s, passing out on the sofa next to the campaign staff. Speaker of the House William Green had to refrain himself from strangling every man in the room, while Andrew Lattimore sat quietly in the corner of the room, laughing to himself. For, President Herbert Hoover had not only won, he had won 54 of the country’s 55 states, the largest landslide in American History. The Liberals had taken back the House and Senate with sizable majorities in both chambers, state governorships, and had flipped states thought unflippable.
“I swear to god, Tom, if you lose Sauk, you are banned from this goddamned party” Debs warned the now terrified Senator. Richard’s voice returned on air, the words he stated only horrifying the men in the room even more. The state of Sauk, the most Democratic-Labour state in the Union, where over 76% of the public identified with the party, was to go to a recount, as only 82 votes separated President Hoover and Senator Pope. The men retired to their rooms --except for Sinclair, passed out on the couch-- awaiting the news of the recount in the morning, although none actually slept. Luckily for the party, the recount proved to be in their favour. It was announced in the morning that Senator Pope did indeed receive the electoral votes from the state, winning by a margin of just 100 votes, the final tally standing at 574 to 12, the single largest landslide in American history, the President receiving 57.75% of the popular vote. Pope received just 28.34%.
When, in December, a reporter asked the President for his Christmas time wish, Hoover responded “In my opinion, Sauk would have been nice”
In the shadow of two back-to-back landslide losses, one of which being the largest in history, the 1936 Democratic-Labour Convention was bleak. Al Smith, a rising star in the party who had served as the Mayor of New York from 1925 to 1929, was the party’s nominee for Vice President in 1928 before abandoning the ticket. He had been the presumptive nominee since the moment Pope’s embarrassing defeat was announced nationwide. While still a part of the mainstream left wing wing of the party, Smith was by no means a radical. With all three moderates the party had nominated all losing in landslides in 1920, 1928, and now 1932, members of the more radical Sinclairite wing, who had carried the radical former President to his narrow victory with 36% of the popular vote in 1924, pushed for a less mainstream candidate. They found their man in Earl Browder, the Governor of Illinois and figurehead of the radical wing.
Charged by the events of 1932, Browder and Smith remained incredibly close in the polls leading up to the primary, Browder behind by around 5 points. Marion Butler and Harry Baals, members of the southern and moderate wings respectively, trailed the two candidates. Smith, however, backed by the majority of party members, pulled ahead, receiving 99 delegates and 36.4% of the popular vote. Browder came second, with 86 delegates and 30.9% of the vote.
The gloomy convention served as an affirmation of the unifying support for Smith, now the Governor of New York, having been elected in 1934. However, with the party nominee now given the authority to choose the candidate for Vice President, the question remained of who would occupy the second half of the ticket. In the end, despite passionate speeches from Representative Francis E. Woodman in favour of Marion Butler, Smith ultimately chose primary opponent Harry W. Baals as his running mate.
Over at the Liberal Party, there were ultimately no doubts over who would be the nominee. President Hoover, still widely popular among the party and still marginally popular among the public, was easily renominated over primary opponent and personal adversary Bryan L. Whitman. The question of the Vice President, however, remained open. Quentin Roosevelt, the incumbent, still suffered the effects of the 1932 Vice Presidential Controversy, and with the merger with the Federalist-Republicans, the anti-Roosevelt base grew within the party. Nevertheless, President Hoover still supported the Vice President, and chose him as his running mate for confirmation. As per Liberal Party procedure, the delegates would have to vote on the nominee for Vice President and confirm him or her with a majority vote.
During the vote, the anti-Roosevelt coalition consolidated, successfully getting a majority of the party’s delegates to vote nay on the confirmation of the Vice President. Panic arose, especially among Hoover and the rest of the establishment. Fearing a split in the party, leading figures such as Senator Ulysses S. Grant III and Senator Nathaniel Richardson reached an acceptable deal, in where Roosevelt would receive endorsements for President in the open year of 1940. Hoover would choose Secretary of the Treasury Alf Landon as his running mate, and the party confirmed him for the position.
The 1936 Democratic-Labour Primary, Smith in red, Browder in purple, Butler in blue, and Baals in yellow
The war in Madagascar
Throughout the Roosevelt administration, anti-semetic remarks and attacks continued to rise, ever since William Jefferson’s 1884 bid for President, where he received 16.7% of the vote and 37 electors, and Herbert Hood’s 1872 burning of several synagogues. This fact led to the passage of the New Zion Act, a program to build a jewish settlement on northern land on the U.S. colony of Madagascar, which it had been granted during the Berlin Conference of 1890.
Fast forward over three decades. The Jewish population of the island had grown to a whopping 250,000 thousand, with many coming from Europe in tandem with Americans, and although not as high as the native Malagasy population, the so-called “Allenites”, named for jewish President Bartholomew Allen, held significant power among the legislative proceedings of the island. The Allenites, led by Mayor Chaim Weizmann of New Zion, a devout zionist, differed on their opinions on the status of the city. Some called for separation into a new territory, some called for independence from America, however, all united around the common enemy of the native Malagasy. Led by Radama III, the claimant to the Merina throne, the Malagasy had united behind the claimant to resist their common enemy, the United States. Unlike other colonial powers, the United States made no attempt to subjugate or oppress their colonial citizens, treating them under the same law as the mainland. As such, ideas supporting independence, freedoms, and revolution spread across the island state. Hatred for the new northern neighbours, who had taken the city of Antsiranana and made it their own, was chief among the ideas to spread.
Tensions between the Malagasy and the Allenities grew throughout the decades. After President Hoover proposed an act to separate the two regions into two new territories, the Senate struck it down, demanding different goals. With an apparent deadlock between the Executive and Legislative branch, many presumed the resolution of the Madagascar conflict would come from violence.
Soon after, a bill proposed by Thomas Pope, that would have made Radama III a monarch from within the United States as a compromise, was vetoed by the President, to the significant dismay of the claimant of the throne. In order to consolidate power for future independence movements, Radama III began the deployment of private militia officials across the south of Madagascar with the intention of providing protection to the local tribes and deporting Allenites to the New Zion settlement.
In retaliation, Mayor Weizmann announced his intention to increase the size of the New Zion settlement, into neighbouring territory controlled by the Malagasy, citing the rapid population expansion of the city due to mass immigration from European Jewish settlers as reason for the move. Fearing increased Allenite influence over the island, Radama III sent 5 militia regiments to the border of New Zion, Weizmann responded by placing the entire New Zion Defence Force on the border to “protect Allenites on the outskirts of the city”.
It is not entirely known who fired the first shot, both sides claiming it was the other, but conflict between the groups soon arose. In the end, the NZDF, in home territory, emerged victorious, claiming the lives of 63 Malagasy militia while losing 39. The Malagasy forces retreated to a nearby village.
After news of the Malagasy defeat reached Radama, stationed in the south, the furious would-be King reportedly stated to his advisors “They have left me one option”. Radama immediately called for the drafting of a new constitution and proclaimed the formation of a new, independent republic. Activating his reserves across the island, Radama subdued the dissident from the local tribes, reluctant to support the claimant due to fearing American retaliation. Mayor Weizmann responded by stationing the entire NZDF on the border, and openly advancing into Malagasy territory.
Both of the men’s actions violated the Madagascar Oversight Act, which required committee approval from Congress for any action either territory could take. The Government immediately declared a state of emergency on the island. However, wishing to avoid further conflict between Madagascar and the United States, the Government authorised negotiations for peaceful secession of the Malagasy State from America.
In the eventual treaty signed by both parties, the to-be-established Malagasy State would become a puppet state of the United States, with Congress having control over foreign policy and economic decisions. The Malagasy State would also recognize the hard border President Hoover had advocated for, and support the existence of New Zion. Many in Madagascar, especially those who had been removed from their homes by the Allenites, condemned this treaty, however, with support from both President Hoover and the soon-to-be King Radama III, the treaty passed the House.
However, the proposal would not be in place for long. In 1933, documents pertaining to the finances of Radama III were leaked to the public. In these documents, it was revealed Radama III had been stealing millions of dollars in public aid money to Madagascar to fund his militias, his bid for control over the island, and his personal lavious lifestyle. The treaty was immediately voted down by the Senate and condemned by President Hoover, stating it would “give a claimant the keys to the Kingdom”. An investigation into the documents was conducted, proving their legitimacy, and Radama III was arrested, being taken to the mainland to stand trial.
As of 1936, the future status of Madagascar is still unknown. With the cancellation of the treaty, and the arrest of Radama III, the local tribes of leaders have usurped control, using the remnants of Radama’s once centralised militia to defend their territory. Conflicts wage across the border with New Zion, as America works to draft an alternative solution.
Madagascar Crisis, 1932
End of the Haitian Civil War
In 1865, the government of the state of Haiti was overthrown by a US-backed militia led by James F. Reed. After bringing in 10,000 white civilians to the island, Reed instituted programmes of slavery and segregation, becoming rich on the backs of exploitation of the people of the island, an estimated 800,000 dying from starvation and disease by 1875, over half of the island’s population.
In 1878, President Rockefeller negotiated for the Haitian island to join the union as a territory, however, Reed would remain on as dictator of the island and illegal slavery continued. Giving himself a 12 year long term, Reed would lose re-election in 1890 to J. C. Foley. Foley would end the practice of slavery, end segregation, reduce the term length, and begin working to integrate Haiti as a state, a dream that would be accomplished in 1892 upon Haiti’s entrance into the Union. However, in 1894, James Reed rigged the election to regain power, starting the First Haitian War that saw the short lived independence of Haiti before Theodore Roosevelt worked to reconquer the territory, which resulted in the 9 year long Second Haitian War finally ending with integration back into America in 1917.
Unlike Cuba, or Culiacan, or Ontario, Haiti never integrated into the United States. The thousands dead under the thumb of an American ruler and American compliance in the near 30 years of genocide, and the two invasions, kept the idea of fully joining the United States from popularity. For the past few decades, support for independence has averaged 68% popularity in the territory. One radical group, seeking immediate action, turned to political violence. Under the command of Darrel François, the 37-year-old son of a plantation worker and Second Haitian War veteran, the Haitian Liberation Organization spread their message of radical, immediate secession across the island territory. However, the mainland refused to consider the island as a threat, relying on the fear of further panic and chaos to keep the land in check.
François was not deterred by the threat of American invasion. The weak and disorganised Haitian army managed to keep the American’s at bay for 9 years, and with proper organisation he thought, actual independence was achievable. However, François’ biggest advisory would not be the United States, but his own people. The Haitian populace, fearing ramifications for revolt, supported efforts of peaceful secession from the Union, like that of the Philippines in 1898. François’ no-compromise immediate revolution was not popular, especially due to his heavy socialist leanings, an ideology in decline on the island after the United States assisted private organisations in creating hundreds of jobs in the territory.
The young revolutionary, however, recognized that his initial base of support was enough for some action. In late 1932, while in the south of Haiti, François proclaimed the formation of the Haitian Free State and independence from the mainland. President Hoover immediately condemned the actions of François, replacing the incumbent Territorial Governor, Lawrence M. Judd, with Louis Borno, a native Haitian. Borno worked closely with President Hoover to oversee the deployment of military forces on the island, under the command of General Leonard B. Trumbull. By October, 1933, the war was over for François. Trumbull and Borno had forced the now 38-year-old into hiding, many suspecting the revolutionary fleeing to Colombia after a Haitian vessel was found in a Cartagena port.
The Dust Bowl
With prolonged drought conditions starting in 1932 and the recent collapse of Bison populations in the Great Plains, it was only a matter of time until the region would face a catastrophic environmental crisis. The combination of poor farming practices, prolonged drought, and severe windstorms had left hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland barren and vulnerable to erosion. This, in turn, led to massive dust storms that ravaged the Great Plains region, suffocating livestock, crops, and people alike. A second wave in 1936 only worsened the situation.
With so much farmland ruined and crops destroyed, farmers were forced to abandon their livelihoods and migrate elsewhere in search of work. Many headed west to California, and Culican where they hoped to find employment in the vast agricultural sectors there. Others simply gave up and joined the ranks of the unemployed surfing their dust choked homes waiting for a chance to regain their livelihoods. In response, President Hoover petitioned Secretary of the Interior Robert Henderson, who had been given the power to allocate a yearly sum of $350 Million USD to construction projects under the “Henderson-Hoover Fund”, to use his budget for the year of 1934 to assist in alleviating the effects of the dust bowl. Henderson followed suit, investing millions into sustainable irrigation projects and shelterbelt projects. Hoover, having chaired the Commission for Relief in Bavaria during the Great War, focused on food production, bolstering production in the Mexican breadbasket and importing Eastern grain to keep America’s shelves stocked in the meanwhile. Democratic-Labourites in the Senate, like Senate Minority Leader Harry Baals and Liberal Majority Leader Nathaniel Richardson passed aid and subsidies bills.
The Dust Bowl proved to be one of America’s most unifying moments during the otherwise polarised and divisive past decades, with politicians from all sides of the aisle coming together to assist the American family in ensuring food was brought to the table. However, turmoil abroad would put strain on the feelings of unity.

The Great Crash and the Long Halloween
Following the end of the Great War, the German Empire and his allies enjoyed a period of wealth and excess, with the British Republic also becoming a prosperous European nation. However, out-of-control spending from the German government to maintain his spheres of influence, combined with the decline of the money supply had severely endangered output. Despite the inherent risks of speculation, it was widely believed the market and economy would grow forever, with a sense of invincibility washing over the investors of Germany and Britain. Despite warnings from the German Government about speculation, a small crash in March caused a rapid sale of stocks at an alarming rate. An infusion of $25 million from the Government stopped the crash, but the warning signs did not go away. Production declined, construction lagged, sales began to go down, and debts were accrued with no care as credit was so easy to come by.
Steel Production, construction, retail turnover, automobile registration, and railway receipts hit record highs month after month. In the first 6 months of 1931 alone, the leading 500 Anglo-German companies saw a profit increase of 36.6%, led by iron and steel. A bubble of speculation was created, and because of margin buying, investors stood to lose large sums of money if the market turned downward. Hundreds of thousands of Americans became heavily invested in the stock market, many borrowing money to buy more stocks. By 1931, $8.6 billion was out on loan, more than the entire amount of currency circulating in Germany at the time. However, by late May, the market returned on its unstoppable climb upward, and celebrated a ten-fold increase over the past decade, with the industrial average peaking at 381.17.
The period of events that would spell trouble for the world began with the arrest of Heinz Thyssen, a dual British-German citizen and major investor, who was jailed in late August along with a number of associates for forgery and fraud, leading to a suspension of his companies, weakening confidence in the market and began a chain reaction of instability. As October came around, selling intensified, until Black Thursday, when market values plummeted by 11% within minutes of the opening bell. Leading Anglo-German investors and bankers met to attempt to stabilise the market by placing bids on blue chip stocks well above the current market, the German finance minister assuring the public that “This financial crisis shall be, with no doubt in my mind, resolved by Halloween”. Such strategies had worked in the past, and the slide indeed halted for a while, even recovering slightly. But as the market opened the following Monday, more record losses were felt, and over the course of just 2 days the Average dropped nearly 70 points, 23%. The Anglo-German Financial giants stepped in buying massive quantities of stocks to demonstrate confidence in the market, however this strategy no longer seemed to work. The Industrial Average began a 2 year slide which would culminate in an 89.2% loss in less than 3 years.
By the Monday after Black Thursday the crisis went global. Anglo-German banks suffered runs and ran out of cash, businesses shuttered their doors and suddenly millions were without jobs. And so began the Long Halloween.
The United States, which had been isolated from the Anglo-German market following its commitment to neutrality and refusal to help, which, in the past, had contributed to unemployment averaging 10-13% and GDP growth under 1% throughout the entire Slouching 20s, was left mostly unaffected by the massive crash, having only taken steps to reconnect during the Hoover administration. Instead of a 30% contraction in industrial production, the United States saw a 10% contraction. By no means good, but the United States was left better off than most powers.
The United States banking system also did not immediately collapse, the FDIC and the Federal Reserve Banking Board saving thousands of small community banks from collapse, preventing a major bank run. In order to prevent a bank run among the nearly 2,000 banks across the United States not insured by the FDIC, President Hoover used the Treasury’s $3.5 Billion USD reserve, which had been building since the United States payed off its debts in 1930, and was planned to be used to invest in the economy and deliver tax cuts, to immediately bail out the banks, buying toxic assets from all of them across the nation.
With the beginning of the Dust Bowl, and the economic meltdown of the Long Halloween, many long standing economic issues in the United States came due. Every state was forced to tighten its fiscal belt or raise taxes. Despite the grants and loans from the Government directly to states and the myriad of programs designed to alleviate the worst of the crises, the damage could not be avoided, only mitigated.
West Virginia and the Haiti Territory both declared default in January, and the Treasurer of Alabama reported the same would be occurring very soon, with the Arbiter System collapsing and revenue drying up almost completely. Workers in Textile Mills, already subject to horrific conditions, saw a massive decline in wages and food. Strikes seemed imminent.
As of 1936, the United States is still suffering the effects of the Long Halloween. However, the Hoover Administration and Senator Nathaniel Richardson have gotten the American markets to stabilise, and unemployment has declined by 2% since its peak. The economy and GDP is back to a period of slow, small growth.
New York City in particular has seen several massive waves of crime since the Long Halloween began. Many “Professional Criminals” began and ended their careers in this period such as John O. White, Oscar Dorrance, and William Summerhouse, the latter being involved in a mass shooting earlier this month which led to the deaths of a dozen officers and Summerhouse himself. The crime spree also gave rise to the career of Benjamin Wayne, a New York City detective who successfully arrested several notable criminals and mobsters. Wayne eventually mounted an unsuccessful campaign for mayor of the city on a Law and Order platform, narrowly losing to New York State Attorney Harry Dental.

Annexation of Australia
In 1927, the United States and Britain reached an agreement to have the United States annex the island of Australia and Tasmania in exchange for relieving 70% of the debts owed by the British to America. The United States even managed to convince several Australian politicians to support the measure, promising massive investments in irrigation and harvesting of resources while allowing self governance and the right to opt out of conscription programs. However, Britain, confident in its ability to pay off the debt, denied the treaty.
When the Long Halloween struck Britain, the United States demanded back its outlying debts, totaling approximately $1.2 Billion USD. However, the United States also presented an alternative solution. In exchange for the enactment of a 5% reduction of tariffs and a mutual alliance, the 1927 Treaty would be enacted by Britain. Reluctantly, the Herbert Morrison labour government accepted, and on January 1st, 1936, the islands of Australia and Tasmania became official American land, President Hoover dividing the land up into appropriate territories. Morrison’s acceptance of the treaty helped contribute to his landslide defeat in the 1936 General Election, which saw a Conservative-National Labour Coalition headed by Stanley Baldwin come into power.
Collapse of Arbiterism
The history of slavery in the United States has always been complex. Although the Civil War ended in 1841, and President John C. Calhoun had issued an emancipation proclamation after pressure from foreign powers, the President and the Democratic-Agrarian Party actively obstructed any attempts to extend any sorts of rights. Slavery, as a matter of fact, remained completely legal until the passage of the 10th Amendment in 1848. By that time, over 98% of freedmen from the proclamation found themselves back into slavery.
Even after the 10th Amendment, Slavery as we know it did not end. Southerner’s adopted the policies of “Arbiterism”, a practice where individuals were made to work to pay off a debt owed to a factory or plantation owner, inherited from birth that included all the costs of childhood. Named after Donald Arbiter, the authoritarian Governor of Alabama who used corruption and intimidation, along with electoral fraud, to secure the mansion as a dictator, the workers were often given no wages, and the debt they owed was far greater than what they made in profit. Arbiterism would remain widespread across the South until 1868, when President William F. Sarge and Senator Steve Marshall passed a series of civil rights legislation and regulation that made Arbiterism simply unprofitable. By 1870, all states but one had abolished the practice, the last being Alabama.
Doubling down on his system, the now 77-year-old Donald Arbiter extended the programs of Arbiterism to all citizens of Alabama, the white population included. The punishment for failing to work to pay off your debts was death.
Despite numerous efforts by national politicians to protect the citizens of Alabama, almost all efforts made proved unsuccessful. When Donald Arbiter eventually died, his son, Donald Arbiter Jr, took power, ruling until his own death in 1930. Donald Arbiter III, only the third Governor of the state in 90 years, took power the same year.
It would not be the federal government to bring an end to Arbiterism, however. In 1936, after decades of oppression and violence, the workers under Arbiterism finally rose up, emboldened by the struggling police forces due to the Long Halloween. In what came to be known as the Montgomery Massacre, 97 workers were slaughtered by police forces with weaponry as protests for better food and the abolition of the debt system turned violent. Using the opportunity, President Hoover declared a state of emergency in Alabama and deployed the national guard. As soon as forces arrived in Alabama, the Department of Justice announced that they would be charging Governor Donald Arbiter III for electoral fraud in the 1932 Gubernatorial Election, after a supposed heavy investigation. Other members of the Arbiter family were also charged.
Kicking down the door of Arbiterism, the political machine of bribery and intimidation that had kept the family in power for 92 years had collapsed, and in 1936, the Arbiter family could no longer hold the floodgates of democracy back. Thousands of workers came out in droves to vote, with a new political party, the Workers Party of Alabama, taking the mansion with newly elected Governor Orville Hawking. The state legislature was also taken by the WPA.
While awaiting trial in a DC prison, Donald Arbiter III was executed by a group of prisoners and guards alike, with no prisoner or staff testifying as to who the men were. The Arbiter Family mansion became the subject of many attacks and bombings, several being thrown over the gates of the plantation. Two other members of the family, implicated in the electoral fraud case, were found dead, and Governor Orville Hawking finally ended Arbiterism shortly after the Justice Department found 5 members of the family guilty.
The approval ratings of both parties, now at all time lows due to failure to act the past century, has caused the Workers Party of Alabama to become, by far, the largest and most influential of the Alabama political parties. William Miller, a State Senator, is the party’s nominee for President in 1936, however, is only on the ballot in Alabama

Situation in Mexico
Ever since the beginning of the Mexican Civil War back in the Debs Administration, Mexico had faced political turmoil and instability which continues to today. During Fitzgerald's administration, the Mexican Civil War largely ended with the successful intervention of the Golden Circle Company, which installed the Cristeros as a puppet monarchy in the newly established Fourth Mexican Empire. The Empire was an aristocratic, traditionalist absolute monarchy that largely served as a mercantile colony of the GCC. Yet, a socialistic, fascist group known as the Nacionalistas survived all attempts of conquest by the Empire, forcing a ceasefire and treaty that granted it independence as the "Chilpancingo Social Republic".
By 1936, the Mexican Empire was in a weak position. The Long Halloween cut trade and starved Mexico of resources and wealth, while the death of GCC chief Aurelian Shaft sent the company into a succession dispute, preventing it from giving support to the Empire.
Taking advantage of this, the Social Republic launched a surprise invasion of the Mexican Empire, declaring it a "national revolution"; the circumstances have allowed the Social Republic to gain major success, reaching the outskirts of Mexico City. The war is ongoing, and in the Social Republic's favour, by election day. Worries grow as a vividly anti-capitalist, anti-American state may emerge directly south of the United States.

The Candidates
Herbert Hoover is the 62-year-old incumbent President of the United States, and Liberal nominee for President. Although re-elected in the largest landslide in history in 1932, Hoover’s odds in these elections have been narrowed by heavy campaigning from Al Smith and the Long Halloween. He runs on the “National Recovery Plan”, the establishment of a sovereign wealth fund to invest in businesses and resources, decreasing taxes, opening the economy to “facilitate a global market”, building shelterbelts, continuing massive public works projects, and . With Majority Leader Nathaniel Richardson steering the Senate and championing economic legislation, the party has begun to enact some of its policies, which have seen some successes, unemployment falling by 2% and the markets stabilising back to growth. However, the President has been criticised by members of the Democratic-Labour party for his opposition to social security. His running mate is Alf Landon, the Secretary of the Treasury, replacing Vice President Quentin Roosevelt. Landon is the head of the Federalist-Republican wing of the party.

Al Smith is the 63-year-old incumbent Governor of New York, and Democratic-Labour nominee for President. A champion of civil rights and author of many pieces of workers legislation, Smith runs on a platform of a farm subsidies bill, further nationalisation of key industries such as the railroads, unemployment insurance, social security, utilising the Henderson-Hoover fund for national infrastructure development, and nationalisation of the GCC. Having the support from the party, he has the backing of former Presidents Debs and Sinclair. He is the incumbent chairman of the National Association for the Advancement of Minorities, an activist group advocating for the end of segregation and advancement of rights for minority populations, and incumbent chairman of the National Federation of Workingmen, a moderate labour activist group. However, he has been criticised for his stances on foreign policy, especially his hawkish attitude towards Japan, and for some financial troubles encountered by the NFW during his tenure. His running mate is Harry William Baals, a U.S. Senator for Tippecanoe, President Pro Tempore, and de-facto head of the moderate wing of the party.

Ettore Boiardi is the 39-year-old New York pasta chef, better known as Hector Boyardee. Making his third bid for the Presidency, Boiardi runs with Andrew Lattimore, the former Senator for Louisiana and Democratic-Labour Party nominee for President in 1928.

Heyman also tells Guerrero that his antiques while he was in charge and still does is something he can’t stand and it’s going to result in one thing, Karma. Guerrero says that Heyman is nothing but a sad man who’s gotten desperate to the point he’s weaseled his way to controlling The Undertaker’s mind by stealing the urn. The Undertaker tells Guerrero that at SummerSlam, he’ll be meeting the reaper in his nightmares for real. In this match, Eddie tries to use his antiques to beat The Deadman but it’s not working. Eddie then manages to get his hand on the urn, hits Taker over the head then empties it. Heyman then comes into the ring to reclaim the urn but The Undertaker gets to him on time and Tombstones Paul Heyman! Undertaker then picks up the urn and hits Eddie Guerrero over the head with it but he’s caught by the referee and gets disqualified! A pissed off Taker Chokeslams the referee and lays out Eddie Guerrero with a Tombstone Piledriver, hinting that he’s not done with the WWE Champion. He’s basically a tweener now in this feud more than a full blown heel.)
Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Chris Benoit (c) vs Triple H
(Triple H is granted this match at SummerSlam after Eric Bischoff was impressed with his performance at Bad Blood against Shawn Michaels and also says it’s fair to do this seeing as The Game never got his one on one rematch after WrestleMania. Triple H says his ultimate goal in regaining the World Heavyweight Championship will be completed at SummerSlam, he’ll prove that Benoit is a flash in the pan and his win at WrestleMania over him was a fluke. Benoit says Triple H underestimated him at WrestleMania and if that’s his attitude that it was a fluke, he thrives on it. He dares Triple H to underestimate him again, especially with stakes. Benoit offers to make this a Last Man Standing match which Triple H accepts. Benoit tells The Game if he’s got any balls, Evolution will stay out of this and not get involved which The Game reluctantly accepts. He says he won’t need Evolution to beat the crap out of Benoit at SummerSlam. In a bloody encounter, Benoit locks in the Crossface on a bloody Triple H, he passes out and doesn’t make the 10 count. SummerSlam draws to a close.)
Notes:
(Matt Hardy goes away after picking up an injury in his match against Kane and is out for the foreseeable.)
(Shawn Michaels returns on Raw the next night and he’s immediately targeted by Christian & Tyson Tomko.)
And that’s part 36! Wow, that was hard work but I got there in the end. I hope you guys enjoyed it and are loving the project. I’ll be back tomorrow for part 37 where we’ll see Randy Orton step up, The Legend Killer stay in Evolution for a while longer and the return of Kurt Angle. Stay safe and stay tuned!

2023.05.22 08:07 4HeadLongerDanMonday Ontario/Canadian medical schools admission vs rest of the world

After being on Tiktok for a while, I've come to realize that it's incredibly harder to attend medical schools in Canada/Ontario compared to the US (and perhaps majority of the world). I'd visit many of Tiktok medical students' profiles to find out that the schools they attend have unfathomably low standards that I am not accustomed to as a newly matriculating Canadian medical student. For example, University of North Carolina Medical School had an average GPA of 3.71 for those ACCEPTED.
In the entire US (2022-2023), there were 55,188 applicants with 22,712 matriculants (41% acceptance rate), with the average GPA of matriculants being 3.75 and 511.9 MCAT (Canada average is 513). For OD schools, it dips down to 3.4~3.7. Top 10 schools with the highest GPA admission were in the range of 3.91~3.94 (ex. johns hopkins, harvard, mayo), and the bottom 10 schools were in the range of 3.62~3.67 (ex. California, Eastern virginia, NY). The average GPA it requires you to get in US medical schools would not even meet the minimum GPA cutoff for many Canadian medical schools. Compare those GPA ranges to some of the Ontario Medical schools average matriculant GPA: UofT (3.94~3.96), Ottawa (3.93+?), McMaster (3.89~3.9). The magnitude of gap in competitiveness is simply astounding-- Those of you who get accepted in Ontario are likely some of the brightest in the world.

It's ridiculous how competitive it is, almost unnecessarily and borderline stupidly
