Based on my studies of the Bible it does not seem to be the case; but I am curious to see other opinions.
In Dt. 32:8-9 Moses seems to say that God split the nations after the Tower of Babel.
When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. But the LORD’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage.
Clement of Alexandria interprets the "sons of God" appointed over the nations to be the angels; who bestowed upon the polytheist Greeks the sciences of philosophy.

All this seems to indicate that within the Bible there does not seem to be any idea of God sending gentile nations to gentile nations. Israelite prophets to gentile nations? Yes, indeed that is the case with Jonah and Assyria -- but not gentile prophets to their own nations.
Paul also seems to back the idea that no gentile nations were sent to gentile prophets in Acts 17:26-30
And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for “‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “‘For we are indeed his offspring.’ Being then God’s offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,
Paul seems to give no indication that gentile prophets were sent to gentile nations, but rather there was a "time of ignorance".
But what happened during this time of ignorance? In Romans 1:20 Paul seems to verify that in this time of ignorance that no sort of gentile prophets were sent to gentile nations because God's existence was already made evident in the created harmony of things. And he adds that, based on this criterion alone, the gentiles are without excuse:
For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

VOD code: YWRPHE Player: Benny the mercy Rank: gold 3
I am trying to get to platinum and am doing everything I can to improve. Would really like a vod review. We won in overtime but it was close.
I am looking for advice on healing targets, damage boost targets. And positioning. This is a good game cause I feel like it’s my average play when I’m focused.
I’m having trouble getting 2000 damage amp in 10 min a lot. Usually like 1600. But def feel like I need to heal heavy sometimes because of lousy second healer. This game had a decent one. I read trust the tank isn’t gonna die, but they do if I don’t help.
Is my flying ok? I have improved on escaping with it. But sometimes find myself in very easy kill zones while trying to do just not that.

2023.03.30 19:26 MikeHawkSmaul I'm Only 19, But My Mind Is Old. I Am Too Mature For This Stuff.
I find it funny how I don't feel like fitting in with those who're the same age as mine. Why, you may ask?
Well, first of all, it is my speech pattern. I get straight into the point and sounds too serious, which makes them feel uncomfortable. Second, I feel like everytime I try to talk to a teenager, they'd just jump right into my throat and try to defend their opinion. Maybe that's the reason why I'm more at ease when talking to adults, because they actually take their times to listen to what you have to say and express their opinions in a neutral position.
On the other hand, I have a habit to act dumb because I don't want any attention. Perhaps I did a tad too well because my friends always look down at me like I'm a real doofus. But I've learned how to be humble and put those emotions aside, and that's all right.
Last but not least, it's my cultural knowledge. While most young people nowadays listen to modern music, I go back to the past, back in the good old 80's for some Modern Talking, Aha, David Bowie, or even Queen. I'm also a big fan of Synthwave, which is a very niche genre that none of my friends knows about. They talk about anime all the time, but none of them know a single thing about Doctor Who and vice versa.
Seriously, whenever my friends bring up K-Pop or something like that, I have no clue what they're talking about, and that makes me feel... unfitting. They brag so much about listening to 80's music, kmowing that they only heard it from Stranger Things, never knew that the guy who's sitting right next to them is an expert at this field. But they will never listen to me, simply because they'll never listen to the words of an idiot.

2023.03.30 19:26 spacedog8015 Gold Dust Writer Mentoring Program - UK
Shot in the dark but has anyone had experience, good or bad, with this program? It seems impressive from the website and the mentors offered, but my interactions so far with their general staff have been disappointing. I cannot find any reviews for them online, but since they are UK based this is not unusual, as people don't really use Trust Pilot, Yelp, etc. over there.

2023.03.30 19:26 autotldr Fox host calls George Santos a liar to his face when he lies about never having heard of OnlyFans He made a crude joke about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez having an OnlyFans in 2020. Now he's saying he never heard of the platform.
This is the best tl;dr I could make,
original reduced by 48%. (I'm a bot)
In a humiliating moment for the gay New York Republican - if he's capable of feeling shame - a Fox Business host muttered under her breath that she thought Rep. George Santos "Just can't tell the truth" when he said that he only heard of OnlyFans several weeks ago.
Lisa Kennedy Montgomery - who just goes by "Kennedy" - asked Santos, "Is it true that you have an OnlyFans page and you can peel a banana with your feet?" OnlyFans is a content subscription service that's associated with adult content.
Santos started laughing and, instead of just playing the question off as a joke or saying "No," he decided to say that he had never heard of the massively well-known platform until a few weeks ago.
Of course, it's very hard to believe that Santos never heard of OnlyFans until three weeks ago considering he was joking about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez having an OnlyFans page in early 2020.
"From what I understand, you're interested in AOC's OnlyFans account," Santos joked about the sitting Congresswoman.
On Twitter, people were surprised that Santos would go so far as to claim that he had never heard of OnlyFans and some even suggested that if he's lying about even knowing about the platform, it could be a sign that he's on it.

2023.03.30 19:26 MuffledandLagging Why can’t I feel insecure?
My sister and I were talking and she said my body was the beauty standard randomly and I disagreed. She immediately asked if I had body issues, which annoyed me because why is she trying to make it seem like I have body dysmorphia or something??? I’m average sized btw and she’s midsized. She makes it seem like my body is considered perfect by society when don’t feel the same at all. I explained to her that I don’t feel like the beauty standard because I’ve been body shamed since 5th/6th grade. I have hip dips, small boobs, my stomach pokes out, broad shoulders, wide rib cage, stretch marks I have back creases, etc. My weight might be the standard (I’m 124 pounds and 5’1) but I’m literally a child 😭 my weight isn’t gonna be this forever. When I told her about this she said “well, in the adult world, curves don’t matter so it doesn’t matter” and she basically blamed me for “letting the body-shaming get to my head” meanwhile she’s curvy and has had a boyfriend since 9th grade and every boy I’m interested in bodyshames me or bullies my looks. Last year was the first time a boy has been interested in me and he leaves in a whole other state. I think that maybe I was a bit wrong for disagreeing but I’m tired of her invalidating me because I’m not fatshamed And I JUST turned 16 so I’m probably gonna gain weight again soon. She doesn’t even like it when I get things my size. Once she got mad at me because I ordered a extra large out of the plus size section of a website for my bunny Halloween outfit. She told me I was stealing from plus size people. I’m literally average sized? I wear a medium to large?? The shirt came and it FIT PERFECTLY, the only issue was that it was kinda long. Today my mom told me I had back creases and I couldn’t tell because if I said that, my sister would attack me. If I were to say it, she’d accuse me of having body dysmorphia. But my mom, a midsized woman can point it out and it’s fine now. I feel like she hate keeping extra body fat or something. Once, in middle school I thought I had a muffin top because the sides of my tummy were sticking out of my pants and I thought I used the right term. She literally got mad and accused of having body dysmorphia instead of educating me. I know what I look like. I constantly talk about wanting to gain weight bc I wanna be curvy. I don’t have body dysmorphia or see myself as overweight.

2023.03.30 19:25 IrvingsGhost [M4F] A nostalgic 90s Halloween themed plot? Looking for a partner!
I’m a Halloween lover, and an Autumn lover in general. To me, it truly is the greatest season of all time and I think it’s the perfect season for a romantic and dramatic story. That’s what I’m hoping to find here!
This story would be set in the late 90s, where films like the craft and scream are part of the common consciousness, and Halloween still held magic. Halloween town is airing for its first time and hocus pocus is essential. Neighborhood kids ride bikes to each other’s houses while teenagers meet at misty Autumn lakes for impromptu campfires filled with urban legends of hook-handed psychos. Halloween held a power over that era, and I want to recapture it in this roleplay!
Here’s an overview of my idea for the actual plot:
Our characters are young adults, possibly from the same town and possibly familiar with each-other (or you could be new to town, up to you). It’s early October and the summer heat has retreated, leaving chilly mornings and the first hints of dying leaves. My character’s best friend is planning a massive Halloween party, and the time is ticking for him to find a date.
Here is where I have two separate but equally ideas, this could simply be a boy meets girl slice of life story, or we could take it in a supernatural direction!
If we keep it just a romantic story, then obviously our characters would get to know eachother, go in cute fall dates to the pumpkin patch, haunted houses, costume shops, etc..
If we take it into a supernatural direction, I’d like to add a whimsical horror element to the mix! Maybe the spirit of Halloween is angry and begins to bring Halloween entities to life and our characters are the unlikely heroes? Could be fun!
The main thing is, I want to capture that comfy nostalgic feeling of the era, and inject it with a healthy amount of romance and character growth! I think using settings such as pumpkin patches and costume stores would be a ton of fun, whether it gets supernatural or not!
Now for the technical stuff! I’m in EST time zone, and I only RP on discord for simplicity sake! I am semi-literate and will never one line you, as I always strive for multiple paragraphs! I am usually working during the day but I will try and get responses out on my town time which is pretty often!
If you’re interested in this, please be willing to discuss with me! If you’re expecting me to have everything meticulously planned out and ready, I will disappoint you! But if your down to brainstorm and make this something we both care about, I can’t wait to chat!

2023.03.30 19:25 Karilyn113 High fantasy: slow burn, steamy and the MMC is portrayed as a bad person but it’s actually not
Hello! So I just read the first 3 books of the ACOTAR trilogy and the first two books of FBAA. I’d like something similar but:
-I didn’t like that in ACOWAR there isn’t almost any focus in the romance between Feyre and Rhys, I felt that it could’ve been more developed. I also would’ve liked more steamy scenes.
-FBAA: I started reading the third book but it became so repetitive. And I didn’t like what I found out that happens on the other books.
So basically what I want:
-Slow burn, I’d like for the couple to get together on the second or third book. So yeah I’m not expecting an explicit scene in the first book.
-Lots of sexual tension.
-Mostly romance focus but with a good side plot.
-New adult (or at least, young adult that feels like NA)
-MMC is portrayed as a bad/evil person by others but it’s actually not.
-MFM has a good backstory and knows how to defend herself.

2023.03.30 19:25 Mrs_SapphireFire help with centerpieces ideas
Hello! We are getting married in October : )
I love the lilac&gold lings collection, and I plan to pick up some items to decorate the ceremony area.
I suspect this collection might be more intended for spring weddings, but I just love the color purple lol and so does my fiance. So our plan is to use shades of lavender, deep purples, white and gold as our wedding colors. We'll likely lean into the deep purples more for other decor so it's not too springy feeling.
If I can make it work, I'd really love to have fresh flowers for the centerpieces.
I noticed the lilac&gold lings collection uses more sage/light green leafs for the foliage, so I'm thinking maybe fresh eucalyptus for the reception centerpieces?
I can find some nice vases, order bulk fresh eucalyptus online and create simple centerpieces that have some height and shape using a handful of eucalyptus branches for each one. Maybe tie some purple ribbons around the vase to bring in the purpley theme. And it won't be too much DIY work on the day of to set up.
Anybody have other ideas?
I also think lavender roses and deep purple listhanthus would compliment the flowers in the lings collection beautifully. But idk the real lavender roses seem more pink when I look at options to order bulk flowers online. A lot of the lavender flowers seem more pinky online.
We don't want to be anywhere near pinks. We want to stay in the purple zone : )
We do plan on stopping by the Pavilions near our venue to inquire about their floral services too. But I figure they will need more detail and instruction than florists that do weddings all the time - so I want to be prepared with ideas and types of flowers to ask about.
We are also open to ordering bulk online but if we go that route I want to keep it simple - like just doing eucalyptus branches - so we don't have too much work to set up on the day of the wedding.

2023.03.30 19:24 TexanLoneStar Is there anything in the Bible which indicates that God sent gentile prophets to gentile nations before the birth of Jesus Christ?
Based on my studies of the Bible it does not seem to be the case; but I am curious to see any scholarly presentations that this is the case.
Jesus of Nazareth, in appointing 70 apostles to preach to the nations, seems to be drawing upon a Jewish tradition that God split humanity into 70 nations -- and that this act by Jesus is symbolic of the restoration of all the gentile nations to God, and the undoing of Babel.

2023.03.30 19:23 Coca-colonization But I’ve NEVER seen anyone use it!!
Another post reminded me of this experience from my childhood. My dad was a big sports fan, tall, and decently athletic. He bought a nice basketball goal for our driveway. It had a fairly particular set of qualities—it was adjustable, full-sized, not built in, but stable enough that you could dunk on it. My dad would try to relive his glory days by lowering it slightly and showing us he could dunk. He was a big kid and played basketball with us kids frequently.
My dad was off of work one morning for some reason and standing outside. A man drove up our driveway and told my dad that he would take the goal “off his hands.” My dad told him we were happy with it and tried to get the guy to leave. The guy went on and on about how it was exactly what he’d been searching for. My dad said he was happy to share the brand and model as well as where he bought it. The guy insisted he wanted ours. My dad said firmly he was neither giving it away nor selling it. The guy was indignant and said, “I drive by every day and I’ve never seen anyone use it!”
In addition to my basketball-loving dad, there were 5 kids in my family. And we were the house that neighborhood kids and school friends hung out at. That goal saw tons of use for horse and pickup games. My oldest brother went on to be a decent high school player and since childhood was literally practicing on that goal every single day that the weather allowed. Like even when he was in a wheelchair with a broken leg in 7th grade, he would go out there and shoot after school.
But because there was never anybody playing on it when this guy’s commute sent him by our house—which based on the time he showed up was mid morning—we clearly were never using it. It couldn’t be that kids have school and adults have work during the day. We were neglecting the poor, sad goal. Since we were not using this goal 24/7/365, this dude was entitled to “take it off (our) hands.”
My dad left the lights on in the driveway for a while to make sure no one stole the goal. My older brother actually lives there now and still has the same goal. And he and his 3 kids still use it every damn day. Well, every evening after school/work! The poor goal does still spend most mornings alone.

2023.03.30 19:23 HelenaBladen [repost] Core Beliefs about Others Questionnaire (CBOQ) for use in mental health research (UK based participants, 16+)
Hello, I am a second year PhD student at King's College London. I am looking for adults (aged 16+) based in the UK to complete a series of questionnaires. The purpose of the study is to develop a new questionnaire that can be used to assess negative beliefs about others, (e.g. 'Other people cannot be trusted', 'Other people take advantage of me') that will be used in future research investigating factors affecting common mental health issues. It takes about 20-30 minutes to complete in total, and you will have the chance to win a £50 amazon voucher at the end!

2023.03.30 19:23 TexanLoneStar Is there anything in the Bible which indicates that God sent gentile prophets to gentile nations before the birth of Jesus Christ?
Based on my studies of the Bible it does not seem to be the case; but I am curious to see any scholarly presentations that this is the case.
