Just wondering if anyone can give me insight on if this is a good deal or not. First purchased from MA in 2009 and have been freshwater ever since. “Replaced” twin Ford 351 Cleveland 300hp with 500 hours. New JBL speakers and Garmin electronics. Cosmetically seems pretty good for how old it is and has some nice wood finishes on it. Being that it was a salt water boat what are some things I should look for when I finally see the boat?

I have a 2018 Explorer with the V6 (not ecoboost). It has the factory tow package so its rated to tow 5000 lbs. Been looking at tent trailers which can weigh anywhere from like 1500lbs loaded to like 4000 lbs loaded.
I've done some googling around and have seen some conflicting information. At what point would I need to get a weight distributing hitch instead of a standard class III hitch? Some places say I can tow 5000 lbs with the class III hitch but then other sites say once your trailer weight gets to be about 50% of the vehicle weight then you need to go to a weight distributing hitch.
I found what I believe to be a ford brochure somewhere that said the class III hitch can only tow 2000 lbs with a 200 lb tongue weight and you need to go to a weight distributing hitch to get the full 5000 lbs with a 500 lb max tongue weight. Then I saw some other ford marketing that said with the Class III hitch you get a 5000 capacity. So I am somewhat confused.

It jumps between task manager and edge using a quarter of my cpu and when i turn on minecraft it uses 90% on that. I noticed it when it started stuttering while on minecraft. It seems to happen randomly or when i turn the computer on. When it happens i restart the computer and check task manager and at first it goes to 100% then goes to normal usage for a minute then jumps to 100% again then back down.. I have a 5800x3d and 6950xt. I have another system with the same spec and it doesn’t do anything like this.

I've had a Samsung 980 Pro for 18 months. Today I read about the critical firmware update recommended by Samsung (via Samsung Magician) and the whole fiasco around dying 980 pros in general. Lo and behold, I have firmware 3B2QGXA7 on mine, which is the exact vulnerable firmware. I update to 5B2QGXA7 (latest) and all goes well, I restart my pc and go about my business.
2 hours later my pc freezes, though animations (waiting circle and mouse animation) still play out. I'm thinking oh no, the disk has gone read-only. I force a reboot and the BIOS won't see the NVME as a bootable drive anymore.
I load up Ubuntu through a persistent live USB and I was able to extract all vital data because the SSD is still mounted and understood by Ubuntu as a read-only drive. All's well, I had backups too.
From the live Ubuntu environment, GParted throws a lot of errors when scanning the disk (because its unable to write to it). In specific, I see 4 partitions on my nvme: partition 0: (EFI system partition: Unable to read the contents of this file system! Because of this some operations may be unavailable. The cause might be a missing software package. The following list of software packages is required for fat32 file system support: dosfstools, mtools.) partition 1: (Microsoft Reserved Partition - Unable to detect file system! Possible reasons are: > The file system is damaged >The file system is unknown to GParted >There is no file system available (unformatted) >The device entry /dev/nvme0n1p2 is missing partition 2: Basic data partition - Critical Error 0x09 which when googling comes to a raised Read-only flag partition 3: is unused, only 500MiBs.
Anything I can do to revive the disk or is a 0x09 flag permanent? I can experiment with it freely, I've saved all I wanted from that disk.

It had space physics, not airplane physics. If you cut throttle to zero you keep going the the same direction at the same speed. You can spin around 180 deg so you are pointed where you came from, but you were still traveling away from the starting point. You ship had guns and missiles.
There were no WWII style dog fights - you'd start super far away from the other fighters, zoom at each other at huge speeds. You get a missile lock, fire, have maybe 500 milliseconds where the enemy was in gun range, and you'd shoot passed each other and it would take a long time for slow down, turn around, and head back for another attack run. Like space jousting, come to think of it.
The speeds were so fast, and the combat took place at such large distances, I have no recollection of what the spaceships looked like, and if they were polygons or sprites.
There was no 'space dust' streaking by your ship, but you HUD could display a 3d grid of dots that would show you which direction you were going. The dots would start green, and when you passed a certain real velocity where the green dots would become meaningless blurs, the dots would change to yellow and slow down. This would happen again at an even higher velocity and the yellow dots would change to red and slow down again.
Other details: It was a single player campaign with missions (like the original wing commander games). Mission 3 or 4 had the encounter near a black hole, if you got to close you'd get sucked into the hole and die. I never passed this level.

im playing on steamdeck and its been crashing everytime i die, it also sometimes happens randomly.

Hello, I want to optimize my computer for video editing heavy RAW video files and 3D animations without having to buy a new laptop.
My budget is 500$
My actual config GIGABYTE AERO 17 XB, Core i7 10th gen, RTX 2070 Super with Max Q-Design, 16gb (8x2) DDR4 RAM
I would like to buy RAM (Crucial CT2K32G4SFD832A, Green, 64GB Kit (2x32GB) to reach 64 GB of RAM but here's my question in two parts :

1. will it be relevant to do buy that RAM given the capacities of my actual processor and graphic card ? ( in other words : is my actual config ready to support the RAM to take full advantage of it ?)
2. Could there be a noticeable performance difference between : my config + my current 16 gb (2x8) RAM, my config + 32 gb (2x16) RAM, my config + 64 gb (2x32) RAM?

I am planning also to buy two* 2TB SSDs (SSD 970 EVO Plus 2 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 (2280) (MZ-V7S2T0)) to replace the current hard drive (SSD 500 Go TLC M1 NVME M.2 2280 PCIe 3) with that faster samsung SSD and to occupy the second slot for stocking video files and also After Effects'cache.
