I believe john and shiki are the fathers of Kidd, shanks and killer and here is my argument.
first off john.

Who was a medieval pirate
now there was another pirate named William Kyd but what matters about him is that his father was another pirate named John Kyd.
now what I find strange about kid is his lacklustre of a epithet his epithet is captain. Not very smart because all the big pirates are captains it doesnāt really say anything about him unlike say his 2 rivals. Straw hat luffy because his hat is iconic seeing a jolly Roger with a straw hat will tell you itās straw hat luffy ship. Law is the surgeon of death and this tells us 2 things heās a surgeon and a pirate and his df follows a theme of surgery even his right hand man has a better name Murder machine killer. So out of everything we know about kid they went with the fact heās a captain ? nothing about his devil fruit ? nothing to do with his punk theme ? Like rotten punk would be such a better name for him even red hair suits him but thatās taken.
now thatās not the only thing because John had the same epithet ācaptainā through the entire series we never see anyone share an epithet because the purpose of an epithet is to 1. Stand out and tell us something about the character and 2. Be unique to that character only and neither of them do that with kid and kid was the only supernova oda actually planned on making so perhaps what oda is doing is giving him that name so we could associate it to John a little foreshadow that they are connected.
Now for shanks, how does he fit in ? well he doesnāt have connections to john per-say however over has gone out of his way to compare him to kid. Both have red hair, missing an arm and scars on their left eye.

This makes me think he is horribly disfigured or heās hiding something that would reveal something maybe heās a 3rd eyes clan member or maybe he has the same face as shiki. Maybe heās the son of shiki or a clone since stussy is a thing now.

well Shiki is a canon character but the events of the movie are not which begs the question ā¦ā¦where is he ? The movie focused on shiki doing an evil plan to take over the world which luffy foiled but in the canon shiki has yet to do anything.
In the canon the last time we saw shiki was when he was on an island of giant animals talking about waiting 20 years to fullfill a plan

He discovered shiki plan and it involved recruiting John which led to a kind of second edd war.

What if John wasnāt killed by his crew what if he was killed by either benn beckman and or yassop and John fought the red hair pirates while shiki fought shanks or shiki fought shanks and beckman while John fought the others. Doesnāt matter. So the whole being killed by his crew was a cover up from the world government who were trying to hide the truth as they usually do or maybe John did survive but was so badly injured that he couldnāt put up a fight when the crew mutinied and killed him.
Now as for Kidd he crew up poor fighting for his life in a island ran by gangs he knew his father was john and hated him as he knew John had money but chose to abandon him in the south blue instead of sharing his wealth with his son.
Also interesting that shanks brought up kid is from the south blue.
Like who cares if heās from the south blue the majority of pirates are from one of the 4 blues. kid resented john and set out to sea to kill him and surpass him by becoming pirate king but heard the news that shanks defeated John leading to his own crew killing him.
so kid just like Ace who resented his father and grew up in a gang lifestyle fighting in a junkyard ( and is also from the south blue ) settled for the next best thing. Ace went after whitebeard who was rogerās rival other than Garp who was Ace grandfather and kid went after the people who took john down saying if he canāt take down John then he can beat up the man who beat up John Which is shanks.
now for the final part.
shiki is still out there we saw he was on an island of giants and dr. Indigo said the chemicals in the plants are why the animals are so big and I believe this chemical is the same chemical Caesar was putting in his candies to give to the kids making them giants.

Shiki has been lurking around though plotting his revenge as he never gives up and thatās when he saw what happened with kid and killer.

This is when it will be revealed that shiki in a sense of dramatic irony was the man marked by flames as shanks uses a flame sword and burnt shiki in their fight and shiki who I believe was the right hand man to rocks may know a lot about the poneglyps and the one piece that rocks discovered in his journey back then This making shiki the Rayleigh for kid.

To start off no Hunter is going to run up to an enemy and spam 5 dodges for no benefit since the additional dodges after the initial dodge doesn't proc mods or aspects after the nerf and now with the difficulty increase the fourth Horseman DPS strat with RDM is too dangerous since most bosses and majors will melt you faster than you can do your 2nd dodge.
Honestly I think it would be cool if this exotic decreased your Dodge CD and gave you a strong over shield after using your dodge while surrounded by 3+ enemies(similarly to how Synthoceps proc) That way you can use your dodge more often and actually be enabled to play close to enemies with this exotic. Overshields could be 200hp for PvE and 55hp for PvP.
Idk if this would make the Exotic all that better but it needs SOMETHING right now

Deeper dive
Fundamental note & how Reddit works
User sees content in social media and shares it to an appropriate subreddit, I'll call them Submitters from this point on. Most of the content you see on Reddit is actually quite fresh, as in less than 24 hours fresh, even for anime art. You can find out yourself by checking the Source in comments and it's most likely from the artist who shared it within the same day. Submitters follow artists on social media and when they see a new artwork in their feed, they share it on Reddit. This is the most common form of content on Reddit, because it's easy and fast for a Submitter to share it. Some artists use Reddit and share their [OC]-tagged art themselves, so there's no Submitter "middleman".
Of course Reddit is full of reposts, but this is less of a problem in anime art subreddits and even less of a problem in /animearmor
Now, there are older works by artists, however this requires a Submitter to go to through their profile page and share what they like, hence more effort for the sake of sharing something.
For a subreddit to function and grow, it needs Submitters. Oh, and they do it for free.
It's a place to share images related to armor and anime style
This is what the subreddit was made for and what it is.
The content medium never mattered; digital illustration, screenshot from a scene, traditional sketch... The content itself matters, which is anime and armor. Does AI art break any of these? No. If the image is a character in anime style wearing armor, then that's all that matters. Made by AI or human is irrelevant here.
Having fresh content flow for the subreddit
There have been recent months where /animearmor wouldn't get any new submissions for over a week. If we want the subreddit to stay active, keep growing and not die, we need content flow. For content, we need active Submitters. AI art provides fresh content flow for the subreddit and an open door for new Submitters.
We've been lax with rule 1 (All posts must be related to armor and anime style) just so we can keep active Submitters sharing content and try to keep the subreddit active.
It's hilarious to see someone claim the subreddit is dead if we allow AI art, when it's always been pretty dead with barely a handful of people contributing. Again: a subreddit needs content flow/Submitters to stay alive.
There just aren't a lot of artists that do anime and armor art consistently
Remember when I talked about how Reddit works? Well, this kind of art doesn't pop up in Submitters daily feed easily, which means less content for the subreddit.
Take a look at yande.re armor tagged posts. On the site, 18800 posts are tagged under armor, that's a lot, right? Well, there are more niche tags that have much more content under them. Also, when you go through the armor-tagged images, majority of them wouldn't really fit the subreddit. So in general, anime armor art is hard to come by.
I created this subreddit. I have contributed the most to this subreddit for years. I know what it takes to gather content and share them to a community. To quote myself from 5 months ago about AI art remains the same:
The subreddit has an active community and gets visibility, but lacks consistent daily content, which is surprisingly hard to come by (for me). With AI art, I can fill that gap.
Fitting content is still hard to come by and seeing all the amazing armored anime images made with AI makes me excited to witness them. It's a shame I've been hesitant to share that great looking content, just because there can be vocal and hostile reception. However, that seems to be only from a minority and I can prove it with numbers.
Reception
The average karma count of the past month's worth of submissions in /animearmor (excluding AI art posts) is around 305.
Their average upvote ratio is around 98%.
So far, this subreddit has had 7 AI art -tagged posts.
AI art average karma count is around 500, from 806, 354, 610, 17, 536, 674, 501.
AI art average upvote ratio is 90% from 96%, 92%, 90%, 73%, 93%, 95%, 92%.
Looking at the averages, "regular" posts are really well received (upvote ratio), but lack to get visibility and popularity (karma count).
AI art posts are controversial to an extent (upvote ratio), but the karma average is pretty high, so they are popular (karma count). This is not only good for the post, but also for the subreddit.
Solely going from numbers perspective, the AI art's "controversial" 90% upvote ratio doesn't really warrant a reason for it to be banned. As for the AI art's high karma average, it only encourages to have more of it. The pool of existing AI art posts is really low to pull meaningful data from, but it is still showing a strong positive starting point for future. It's also proving that majority of users don't care if the image was made by AI. They just like the image, that's all that matters.
The discussion in AI art -tagged posts is mixed. From usual funny content remarks to pointing attention to bad hands or weirdest details. The negative reception part has never reasoned themselves properly as to why AI art is bad for the subreddit, nor has there been any direct contacts of concerns to the mod team.
Images with "AI Art" -Reddit tag can sometimes get overlooked by people that care about it, because they didn't notice it while browsing. There's no need to point that out separately, Sherlock. There have been no cases of lying in posts if the content is made with AI or not. AI art posts are properly tagged.
Going forward
If you don't like it, then hide "AI Art"-tagged posts in the settings if possible or block the person who submits AI Art. Or just unsubscribe from /animearmor if this is such huge deal for you. Be civil. Don't harass others.

Now, just because AI art is allowed doesn't mean we are dedicated to just that. You're hopefully just going to get more anime armor relevant content in the coming future.

2023.03.26 14:14 stark33per Overall game impressions and feedback.
I ve been playing all Diablo games and enjoyed all of them for god knows how many hours. D3 was my least favourite but I still played it a lot and enjoy it.
As for Diablo 4.
The GOOD:
- GRAPHICS: The overall visuals are detailed and on point. There is a lot of small detail in cities and so on which is nice to look at. There are some hiccups like the necro skeletons (cartoony and with an odd glow which doesn t match the rest of the game) and the necromancer bodies (why we need a set of extra highlighted corpses when the ones from the mobs you just killed are on the ground...can t comprehend. was the same in d3).
- MUSIC: The music and ambiental sounds make for a pretty good diablo atmosphere overall. The music in D3 wasn t bad, it was just very fanfare and theatrical too often for a game about killing demons in the dark.
- TRANSMOG/CHARACTER APPEARANCES: These are very nice and really make your characters look cool. A small note: since it looks so great overall, It could use having more faces/hairstyles/beards etc. Kinda of a waste to have so few hairstyles and faces etc for such a good system.
- THE DIALOGUE/STORY: So far it seems to have a less bombastic in your face approach like in D3. The story also has a slower, mystical air to it, opposed to the D3 saviour of the universe.
The BAD:
- INNOVATION AND COMPLEXITY, although having a good foundation, feels like a very basic or bare-bones aRPG. It feels like an improved Diablo 3 which should ve come 5 years ago. Given that these games launch about 10 years apart, you would expect more interesting features and systems for them. Sure, you don t need to reinvent the wheel, but it s not the case here. I know it s just level 25, but we ve seen a lot of the basic systems and the community updates. As someone on this reddit said, "here s an improved d3 with a play schedule". I ll further detail individually down why I think the game is a bare-bones aRPG.
- SKILLS: There are less/almost equal skills (not to mention Runes) for D4 than in D3. You take the Necromancer for example. It has around 19 active skills in D4 plus one of two runes you can pick from. There are also few passives scattered around. In D3 you have 21 skills with 5 runes each. Factoring in the runes, it does seem like there are more skills in Diablo 3. We could maybe add The Book of the dead Skeleton and Golem skills and maybe we get on par. With so few skills in D4 it seems like there won t be too many different builds. Sure, endgame gear and paragons can alter these skills a lot but..it s the same few skills at the end. Maybe they started with few skills so they can add more over time.
- STATS/ITEM STATS: We get more or less the exact same stats/amount of different stats like in Diablo 3. They are boiled down into attack defense and regeneration. Looks like a mobile game honestly. Item Stats themselves are rather boring and insignificant except for few like +to X Skill. Items are pretty boring (I know it s lvl 25 but we ve seen many items over time). It all boils down to the most important stat, the legendary power. It was always the plan for this since they announced D4 and you could see that they tried to make item stats look more complex but kept the original idea: Legendary power is what matters most. The rest is filler for the attack/defense/regeneration display. Since these are the items, the gems fall in the same category, no interesting stats just basic dull stuff.
- ENEMIES: There seem to be few monster types so far, which you encounter repeatedly and very often. Most of them do not seem to have some unique feature/mechanic besides name and model or some noticeable unique feature mechanic. They seem to be just fodder for champion/elites affixes to stick to. Mob density is very low regardless of taking the giant empty world zones in account. Might be level related. Bosses/Mini Bosses seen so far aren t memorable at all and seem to have AI generated clunky names, like in wow. But wow has thousands of npcs and bosses and mobs created over 15 years..understandable. But D4? eh.
- UI: The Interface is hard to understand often, even considering it s been designed for consoles. Some things are really impractical, like the minimap which is irrevelant since zones are so big and you don t see much on the minimap. There is no transparent map overlay which forces you to press M to open the giant map very very often. A simple D2 overlay would fix this. After all, it can be disabled. The font used for the items on the ground is horrid, as in it is the basic font used in all pseudo-games/rpgs on mobile. Not only it doesn t look like the rest of the game, but it s ugly {personal opinion}. Probably it was chosen because it is a clearer font for consoles. This font is used in mobile games because of the small screen they are being played on. With consoles and pc's this shouldn t be the case. Also why isn t the central skill bar tied to the bottom edge of the screen? It s just wasted space.
- PERFORMANCE/BUGS/SERVERS I do understand this is an open beta, but this game is 2 months away from launch. You can imagine that not much can be done even by a big team in that timespace. We ll leave aside the fried cards. The game's performance is bad, with frequent stutters (as in fps drops) and freezes and crashes. This isn t hardware related I think, as I ve tested different settings, different computers with different above recommended specs. This problem also persists on the PS4 identically. This occurs more often when you cross zones. On top of these, there are the server issues which will likely persists at launch as all blizzard releases. The rubberbanding and invisible walls are also terrible additions. The fact that the game is online only even while playing alone..doesn t help.
- MMO FEATURES: It seems that D4 tried to be Lost Ark and failed. Badly. Having played both, D4 gives you the feeling of a primitive Lost Ark. Of course, you can t play alone and are forced to see many players around you in towns, so that you see their interesting shop bought cosmetics so you want to buy em too. This was probably planned way before development started. It s annoying to see this many players especially in towns. It s just a visual clutterfest of annoyance. Add in the performance issues and you ve got yourself an active player wish to avoid especially big towns or towns in general. They took from wow few of the most annoying mmo features: scheduled gameplay and daily quests. It s a psychological tool to force you to log in every day or set time, so that their engagement metrics are high and investors think everything is great. The world boss is a terrible system. You need to play EVERY week, or you ll miss out on the free rewards. Why are they free? Because like in WoW you can just go there, land a hit onto the boss, die, wait or die again and others will kill the boss and voila, you get the same loot as them. No effort, no skill or brain activity needed, just your pressence at that fixed time every week. Just your sole existence. The EMOTE WHEEL is an uncessary and idiotic feature I cannot comprehend. I guess it has it s advantages for consoles. But going to a statue and dancing or clapping your hands for quest rewards or buffs isn t really a gameplay which should exist in an arpg. Maybe in SIMS.
- OTHER SYSTEMS: Gambling, Potion Upgrade, Item Upgrade. This is your usual well known basic stuff. Nothing special. I have to admit the Potion system with craftable extra potion is a step up from D3.
- DUNGEONS: Dungeons are very repetitive and seem to be made from few very often repeating tiles which you can notice right away. They look nice and have lot s of details in those specific tiles though. There aren t many mobs and often you have some generic, often repeating events. Dungeons aren t unique, they are more like some pre-generated rifts which require a lot of backtracking. Monsters aren t the objective, they are just the barrier before the objective which is press this switch or that lever. Monsters aren t difficult either and there aren t specific dungeon mechanics or traps or whatever to fill up the empty void of long nothing the dungeons are. Honestly, they feel worse than D3 rifts and I did those thousands of times. Here I could barely do each one once. The game feels often pointless, as you are wandering big pretty and empty zones, barely seeing mobs, or some insignificant forgettable ones. To what good is a big open world if it is empty. Never had that feeling in D3, each zone had a specific story role, purpose, event, mob type and wasn t too big. I can remember them all by names. Here I can remember the main town and another one because it has a blacksmith. Otherwise just ai generated name zones which have nothing to do or to offer besides being just filler.
I didn t want to pre-order and this beta convinced me that I shouldn t even buy the game at launch. It is doubtful that the technical issues will be fixed in such a short time. Not to mention the rather repetitive and empty open world and the bare-bones arpg feature. The game skeleton is there but that s it mostly. Maybe he also has a hood. Or maybe not. Sure if the game did not cost 70$ and would ve been marketed as early access yeah. But with other competitors it s just not worth it in my opinion. PoE is free, PoE 2 will be free, Last Epoch is far cheaper and so on.
The only thing this game currently has over the others is the Diablo franchise name and some tied in nostalgia with npc and item names. Just like the initial runewords plan for D4. They were adding something which used the name but had nothing to do with the original feature. This is how Diablo 4 feels to me overall. Sure, the bigger budget shows in many aspects compared to the other listed aRPGs. But damn it, even Wolcen at its disastrous launch had more innovative elements and less game breaking bugs and technical issues. At least you could avoid the server issues playing offline.
If anyone disagress with stuff here just bring an argument for a discussion don t just call me whatever. What I say here could be wrong but it s just how I see the game currently. Maybe devs read feedback and try to do something. I do want this game to get good and to play it for a long time. Not one gazillion years like d2 or half gazillion years like D3, but something longer than few weeks. It seems to me that the art and music devs had a lot of creative freedom. I don t think the systems devs had so much creative freedom, hence we get this basic rpg with no innovative features at all. This could ve easily been D3 - remake. I am sure that the devs with more creative freedom, would ve done interesting and innovative aRPGs like the competitiors.
I ll keep checking on the game. Maybe after half a year a lot of the stuff gets fixed or corrected or re-made. Maybe it will be bundled with a game-fixing expansion, who knows.

2023.03.26 13:54 Topaz-Light [NES METAL MAX 1] - Final boss strategy / weaknesses?
So I've finally made it to the last boss fight in my playthrough of Metal Max 1 (the NES original), and I was curious if Noah / NOA actually has any weaknesses or if there's otherwise any sort of strategy to the battle itself, or if the fight's basically just a level check. The latter wouldn't surprise me at all, especially considering it's a NES RPG, but I know that even back then there were final bosses where certain strategies allowed you to overcome being below the probably-intended level.
My team's levels are IIRC in the mid-late 20s. I've defeated every Wanted enemy, so money's no longer much of an issue, and I've obtained and fully-modded all eight tanks, with the gear to kit out three with endgame-grade weaponry. I got both SOLOMON2s, 220mm Gaeas, and V100 Kongs, as well. Just to give an idea of where I'm at currently.

So like most the posts here Iāve got a problem player in the group but he isnāt outright bad, heās just problematic. His characters are just hard to like, he makes chaos left right and centre like making a mini boss which almost killed my pc, donāt ask, or just trolling for the sake of trolling. To put it simply he treats the game like a heavily modded run of Skyrim, he wants his own brand of fun which boils down to memes (like in a rpg where your backstory gives u powers but other players make said back story I gave him a cool space laser accident and my fucking balls got dipped into the kfc deep fryer) nothing has any consequence as his wack ass ideas are some dumb it would get him killed but the dm never wants to kill him (like walking up to an military base where one no oneās welcomed and 2 they had snipers, in this rpg it did in fact kill him but it was aināt the first 10 mins of a game he got revived basically) as it would really disrupt the game so it just works.
But heās never rude or racists, just dosnt like to be told no and if we did kick him he would get pissy which would effect the other games we play with him where heās ok.
Yes a dm has talked to him about this problem, he didnāt listen, and yes Iāve talked to other players they have the same grudge I do but to a lesser extent.

I have been playing Destiny 2 since Curse Of Osiris. I was a pretty causal player until half way into Forsaken but I was still not playing the game to its full potential. It took me till Witch Queen to fully appreciate mods and builds. Last Season I ran GMās for the first time, and this season Iāve soloād 2 dungeons for the first time.
But itās always rubbed me the wrong way when something is completely āgame-breakingā even when I was a casual. Whether PVE or PVP. By āgame-breakingā I mean a weapon or ability that completely shred the fabric of the game. You can make multiple arguments for multiple things that do that but I wanna focus on Well and furthermore itās impact on the game. Well of Radiance has become too much of a crutch.
I do not mean that harshly or to judge, but itās true. Well gives too much reward for very little risk. You could bring up another āsupportā super like Bubble, but bubbles trade off is the inability to shoot through it. Well is a requirement in everything now. Nightfalls, Raids, GMās, Legendary Exotic Missions. I know what people are gonna say. āIf you donāt like it or wanna make the game harder for yourself then donāt use itā. But do you hear yourself? An ability so powerful that it trivializes almost everything, and that to feel challenged just donāt use it? Thatās a very dangerous mindset, a mindset Iāve been seeing more even with bugs. āWinterbiteā has the power to shred bosses and I see ālet people have funā. What? When did taking the easiest route and not working for your reward becoming fun? When did challenge = bad? I know I shouldnāt touch it but DIV. I remember before putting effort into playing I was always div-bit#h. Is that rewarding? It wasnāt at all for me. Is just popping Well and being immortal rewarding? I will always commend Bungie for VOW but lets be real guys, Rhulk was built like that as a response to Well. When an ability is causing the developers to have to find ways around it thatās not good for the health of the game.
Thatās my opinion, so lemme shut up and hear from YOU! The players, my fellow guardians. Letās all please be respectful and kind about it too because from what I hear Twitter says yaāll just scream at each other.

7th Layer will have a bossfight against a robot, and i thinknits going to be The original swords machine, and you will get their sword after killing it, what would work kinda like the whiplash. also the first level also have a fight against a minotaur demon thing. The secret boss against a youtuber i think is going to be That Trav Guy.
8th layer will have a titan boss. I have no idea, also i think No new weapon.
9th layer will be hard, and in the back ground you could see Gabriel killing Lucifer. And Finale will be a fight against gabriel on Lucifers corpce.
Prime boss will be Lucifer, and i think its going to be a boss rush.
I made this prediction based on the 2 other acts, first battle in a act was against V2, but now he is dead i thought the original Sword machine made sence also there allways has been a Secret youtber fight in first layer of an act. The second boss has been a titan boss, but i dunno what could be in 8th layer... 3rd layer in both the acts allways had a gauntlet of challenges in the first level and second was allways fight against Gabriel. P3 is deffinedly Lucifer, but P1 and P2 are way different compared to each other, so i think boss rush would make sence in my oppinion, But i dont know anything.

When I played the game chests would be spread out across the map but now there's literal dozens of chests everywhere, everytime I fonished the first floor I always had 5-8 items but now I'm finishing the first floor with up to 30 sometimes, enemies also spawn it really fast and the bosses drop way more items than before, this all happened after I played some multi-player could someone elses mods been added to my PC?

This game could have been so much better and after playing it for a month and seeing how much work went into it it's sad to see it's downfalls. Here's few of the remarks I wanted to share:
First of all why the game is so heavily based around watching ads to progress? Many people would gladly pay an initial fee and some kind of monthly 'pass' subscription to play it, it's really sad that the part of 'core gameplay' is based on watching ads?!
The game mods are all below average, with the two most interesting ones being the clan boss battle and Archway Assault, anything else (especially considering time to reward ratio) is not that worth playing.
Saying that both of the mentioned mods have its flaws, the difficulty level between the first and second clan boss is enormous, the fact that you can only hold two tickets to fight them makes it impossible to even think about defeating the second boss (so every clan member just jumps on the first boss) the boss reset happens overnight so you pretty much always loosing a ticket or two because you well.. sleeping when the extra ticket comes along so you won't get it because they are probably maxed out at this point.
Archway Assault has a day downtime for exactly what reason? Is it because people would gain too much progress from playing the mod?
Surprisingly linear gameplay without much tactical positioning doesn't bother me that much and I quite enjoy 'idle' automatic gameplay as I can play it at work without paying too much attention to the screen sometimes. It is a pity for the players who enjoyed the original XCom gamestyle though and I can see how it won't suite many of them although the 'flavour' of the game other than tactics has been sustained pretty well.
Epic hero acquisition sucks, I'm pretty sure that there's no pity timer on how often epic heroes appear in the archway, and obviously which one do you get. It would be also helpful to not receive certain blue and green heroes from the archway when you maxed them out (or at least lower the rate of them appearing), it would be quite elegant way to reward and progress players further.
That's pretty much all my major criticism about the game, I won't be mentioning bugs and UI problems as they can be fixed easily and are not contributing to my overall opinion of the game.
Having an actual PvP mode and more clan activities (which I can see are somewhat in development) would certainly attract more players to the game.
Overall I think there's many ways to make this game way better and it has a lot of potential. But it would take a lot of time and dedication from the developers which they might sadly not have.

Im pretty sure this game is a point and click adventure game it starts out with 2 kids going to a sewer for some reason and one of them kills a hobo. it fast forwards to the one kid as an adult who is now your boss the character you are now has amnesia and youve been tasked to locate an ancient artifact it turns out he has been causing your amnesia. I also recall the ending you end up in a large pit and your part of an ancient bloodline and depending on what you do there are several endings you either escape and your boss is dead or you escape and he is not dead you dont escape and he does or neither escape and your bosses henchmen escapes.

After finishing my randomlocke and starting a normal nuzlocke i notice something a lot more that i had been thinking about during randomlocke. the trainers in randomlocke are too random. i know i know, but let me explain. in randomlocke when you fight trainers their temtem are random, in the early game this can be deadly if you run into powerful 3rd evolutions or just powerful temtem in general but the opposite is true for the endgame. the endgame in randomlock is beyond easy, bosses that should have powerful temtem and synergies between them now have swali, pahoro's and platypets. i slaughtered the final boss without ever changing my 2 openers out.
i would like to suggest a 4th type of challenge mode, randomlocke 2.0 where everything is random except other trainers and set fights. this way the trainers you are fighting will still have their powerful synergies intact but you, your tem, your items and moves are still purely random.
