2023.05.30 23:13 Remarkable_You_7293 [Fit Check] First diagnostic bra in ABTF size, Panache Envy 32D

I was going to wait until I could try on all five of the bras I ordered (five different sizes of the Panache Envy) and make one big post, but I just realized how much I've written for only one bra and felt bad, so I think I'll start with just the one. Also, I didn't realize until after I placed my order that bras of different colors in the same style and size can fit differently, so I got the cheapest color of each size. This one is black.
Calculator size: 32DD/E
Measurements, to the nearest eighth of an inch:
Loose Underbust: 32.75"
Snug Underbust: 31.125"
Tight Underbust: 28.375" (I have a disability that causes muscle weakness, so there's a chance I wasn't able to pull the measuring tape as tight as someone else would have been able to, but it was tight enough that I had to let go of the measuring tape in order to inhale.)
Standing Bust: 36"
Leaning Bust: 38.125"
Lying Down Bust: 34.875"
Shape: Centebottom full. I've been told that the difference in my bust measurements means I'm probably projected with soft tissue. I think I'm also conical.
Black Panache Envy 32D fit: When I tried it on upside down and backward, the band was already uncomfortably tight. It wasn't all the way to painful, but definitely much tighter than the band on my current 32A bra. I had to work pretty hard to close it, but maybe that was a combination of the fact that I'm very weak and the fact that Panache bra bands are (according to other posts on this subreddit) very firm? The band stays parallel to the floor all the way around. The gore sits flat and presses on my sternum; I think it's about the right width, but I'm not positive. The straps are too wide-set, but I have narrow shoulders, so that might be unavoidable. In order to get them to feel secure I had to tilt them inward, at which point they dug into my shoulders. I think the wires are right on my inframammary fold. I mostly filled out the cups after scooping and swooping, but there was some slight wrinkling on the inside tops and outside bottoms of the cups. At the same time, the areas directly under my armpits suddenly looked like they had way more fatty tissue than before. The extra tissue extends beyond the wires, but I don't know whether that's a problem with the width or height of the wires or with the size/shape of the cups. The wires are definitely not too tall, though.
That was very long, and I'm sorry. I don't know how to write less and still give all the details listed in the Beginner's Guide. For anyone who actually read the whole thing, 1) Thank you, and 2) Do you have an idea of whether this bra is the wrong size, shape, or both?

2023.05.30 23:12 MuffinFire666 Did I take speed?

I got some “ketamine” from my plug a couple months back, but I don’t think it was ketamine. Only a small line would get you high immediately and then the high would last around 10-15 minutes. It felt like going up up, peaking, then coming down. The product itself looked like ketamine, small clear crystals that you could snort easily. The drug also made you extremely horny. After a couple days on the drug, everytime I would eat, it would immediately come back out as black diarrhea. I ended up losing 8 lbs in like 6-7 days. However it didn’t really keep me up, I could still go to sleep afterwards. Was this speed or something else?

2023.05.30 23:12 Glass_Prune_7342 Just finished my TExES 235 exam

And wow. I probably did not pass. I don’t want to say it was hard, but the way the questions were worded was so confusing. I don’t remember my higher level math classes being like that. I studied using the REA study guide book and even their questions were so much more straight forward. I almost felt like the questions were written by someone who’s first language isn’t English. One question asked about where the graph of the equation intersected the x axis. Put it in my calculator…. Doesn’t intersect x axis. I don’t think I’m stupid but man this test was something else for sure.
For context, I graduated college 8 years ago and did not get a mathematics degree. I just want to teach algebra or geometry.

2023.05.30 23:12 jacksparrahh Is 300mg lamotrigine a high dose?

My friend is a psych nurse and he was surprised, almost shocked, that I was taking that much everyday. I get “the shakes” in my hands pretty frequently and it’s very noticeable- hence why the convo happened in the first place.
I’m 27F, 130 lbs. been taking this dose for around a year but bounced around from 100mg to 350mg for 2 years before that trying to find a good dosage. Been taking Prozac 20mg once daily as well.

2023.05.30 23:11 Chewbmeister Electrode rod storage.. in vacuum?

I've got a few welders at home and only have to occasionally roll the lead out to stick weld something that doesn't fit in the garage. It seems like my rod is always junk after sitting a couple years and have to go get new rod everytime I weld with it. I don't want to let a rod oven run 24/7 to keep a handful of rods dry.
So I had an idea of building a smaller rod caddy to hold maybe a single 50lb box of 7018 with a sealing cap and valve on the top. When I'm done with my project and it goes back into long-term storage. thru that valve pull a good vac on it to boil all the moisture out and leave it for the next time I need it.
I'll make this out of shit I have laying around so it won't cost much. Would it keep rods in better shape than a 5 gal bucket with a lid? Is it worth messing with or should I just plan on buying rod anytime I want to make a decent weld lol

2023.05.30 23:09 fantasticturtlez Suggested Size seems way too big

Hello everyone,
It is my first post on reddit and I am trying to find a proper fitting bra so I used the calculator. I am just wondering if anyone can help me figure out why the measurements I am inputting give me such a big size. It says I am a 40L(usa) or 40HH(uk). I am wearing a 42H and the cup size seems okay, however I am experiencing back pain and just overall uncomfort so thought I would try out a new bra. A 42H is what a normal bra size chart recommends for me.
I have looked up pictures of L cup breasts and they seem gigantic compared to mine, I know I do not have enough volume to fill out the size of an L cup. My breasts also sag and point down and I have a lot of extra skin because I have lost some weight. So I am not sure if that has anything to do with it, as when I lean over they hang down a lot just because they are sagging. Is there a possibility that the calculator is wrong because of the different shape and length of my breasts?
My measurements are as followed:
UnderbustLoose-43inSnug-41.5inTight-38inBustStanding- 50inLeaning- 57inLying- 53.5in
If anyone can make some recommendations of what size I could actually be or what bras I should try out knowing I have shallow breasts, I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

2023.05.30 23:09 PiterPuns Is BDD alive in C++ ?

Behavior driven development looks like a good idea and popular frameworks like cucumber have a ton of features and available material ... for other languages that is, since the official site mentions the C++ framework as unmaintained
Given the wealth of C++ testing frameworks, I was wondering whether an alternative framework is available or if the BDD methodology is even prominent in C++ projects.
Judging from the examples, it seems like a really neat way to express scenarios e.g.
Scenario: Regular numbers Given I have entered 3 into the calculator And I have entered 2 into the calculator When I press divide Then the result should be 1.5 on the screen
but I don't know if I want to embark on a journey with an unmaintained framework.
It's also my impression that redis-graph uses Gherkin (the language of Cucumber) while the redis server relies on Tcl for testing. So is Tcl is a valid choice for BDD in C++ ? (redis is C, but any such framework would immediately be transferable).
Thoughts?

2023.05.30 23:08 curiousnboredd if a ball is thrown to the right, and a a rotating device, you could grab it and swing it back to the left using the ball’s momentum, how can I calculate how much of the initial force of the ball was lost?

Is any of the initial force lost to begin with? I’d assume yes since changing direction involves using force in the opposite direction which would negate some of it, but if the object did so by rotating would the same apply? I’d imagine the ball going left in the end would have a greater force than the initial ball thrown to the right but idk why.
Graph that could help show what I mean: (the purple thing is the device rotating the ball back to the left by using the ball momentum) https://www.reddit.com/usecuriousnboredd/comments/13w27qz/graph/

2023.05.30 23:08 BestWerefloof Thinking about starting hormones..

I've been making moves towards starting HRT for about half a year now, thinking about it for over half a decade. Next month I'm thinking about starting, however I have a few things I'm curious about. For some context I've been obese practically my entire childhood, it peaked in 2020 (I imagine plenty of people did considering the year) and was pretty much stuck at 350 lbs (I'm 6'2) till 2023. In the last 3 months I've lost about 40 lbs, but I know that starting HRT will more than likely REALLY mess up the way my body processes everything. I was hoping to get some advice from yall about how anyone losing weight pre hormones continued to maintain weight loss after it. Any tips, reccomended exercises and such?
I'm also just curious how obvious the first year or so hormones are, I don't plan on presenting male until I'm confident in my appearance because I'm just.. overly critical of myself.
Hope everyone is having a lovely week, and that this question hasn't been asked a billion times haha

I've read thru the ride guide on the website, but it's very vague as to stay PC. Hoping for some KIND real life perspective here.
I'm a 5' 11" and 340 lbs....what am I NOT going to be able to ride?

Hi,
I am trying to calculate the average number of moths by the overall number of trees that we took samples from.
Samples are broken down by Date, Tree Type, and Sample Location on Tree. Is there any way to calculate the averages of all 3 of those species, with respect to number of overall number of trees?
I would also like to determine the averages of those species combined with respect to each location, combined and also not combined.

2023.05.30 22:59 Shoutout2thealiens Puppy with older dogs

So me and my wife just got a new puppy about a week ago. The mom was a wienebeagle mix and we’re not sure about the dad. Our pup is about 9 weeks old and around 5 lbs now.
We also have a 8yr old Doberman and a 5 yr old lab mix. When the puppy is in his crate our other dogs will go up and bounce around acting like they want to play but when the pup is out of his crate (supervised) both of our dogs act terrified of him.
Both adult dogs will kinda go still wherever they are and they just turn away and leave. Not really running away but definitely not wanting to be around him. The lab mix will sometimes show his teeth but doesn’t growl or have his hair standing up when he does that.
Also when I am carrying the puppy inside after a walk both the adult dogs run up happy and sniffing/licking the puppy but only while I’m holding him.
Is there anything we can do to get them used to the puppy and eventually accept him other than just time?

Hey I'm Lydia, and I'm 27. I use she/they pronouns. I'm a sapphic intersex non-binary gal. I'm primarily interested in a long-term relationship at this point. Long distance is probably going to be the name of the game, at least at first, as I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere in South Dakota.
I'd describe myself as futch, not extremely masc, but not particularly femme either. Tee shirts, jeans, cardigans, comfort is my priority.
I'm big on movies and tv, and play some video games (although not as much lately due to work). I'm really big on TTRPGs and have recently been enjoying Pathfinder, Lancer, and Shadowrun. I have very left wing political views, and would prefer if you have similar views. I don't smoke or drink, and am uncomfortable around smokers as it bothers my lungs. (420 friendly when it comes to non-smoked means, though.)
I'm a total cat person, and will send you pics of my kitten! Feel free to DM or chat me if any of this interests you!

2023.05.30 22:58 FreddyOaks Subjective Value Counts!

Subjective Value Counts!
I loved Pokémon so much as a kid, specifically the TCG. I have vivid memories of ripping base set, jungle and fossil packs. I even remember disliking the team rocket expansion when it came out because I thought it looked too new and didn’t like the art (what a sweet summer child).
We moved when I was 10, and I can remember as the movers were boxing up our belongings, I had been admiring all my best pulls. I had all the holographic cards I ever got laid out on a desk, just to look at, and that’s the last I ever saw them. I don’t know if the movers nabbed them or if they somehow got lost, but 20 years later I still rummage through boxes at my parents house in the off chance they show up.
After that, my collection of commons and uncommons that were left just served as a bitter reminder and I must have unceremoniously dealt them to a younger cousin or someone who still wanted them.
Last September, I bought a couple newer packs (I think vivid voltage and brilliant stars just for the Celebi and Arceus sleeve arts) as a nod to our youth for my buddy who was turning 30. We still play the console games but had both been long out of touch with the TCG. When he snapped me back what he pulled (and btw there were no hits) I realized that thrill of opening packs was still there.
Over the last few months I’ve been absolutely loving grabbing a pack here and there and just soaking up the experience. Even the smell of the fresh cards fills my heart up with joy. You want hits, but that jolt of excitement is what it’s all about.
The more I get back into it, the sadder I get that I don’t have my childhood collection anymore. Those cards are not only costly, but even if I bought some loose throwbacks, they wouldn’t be the same cards that brought me all that joy as a kid; they wouldn’t be mine.
But there’s a ray of hope to this story. Just now, I remembered a bookmark I’d been using years ago but had misplaced. I just went through all the books on my shelf looking for it, and there, wedged at the back of an almost-finished Alan Watts philosophy book, I found it. I have no idea how this card avoided the fate of my others. Maybe because Hitmonchan was (and still is) one of my favorites of all time and I kept it with me that day, or maybe I just missed it in the binder. But I can tell you, this being the very last card I have from that collection means more to me than any card out there.
PSA 10’s and chase value are fun to follow, but some cards are truly priceless, and those are the ones that make this enterprise so special to some of us.
