I am very worried.Father around 72, has many health issues-diabetes, high blood pressure and extc.My father had a full liver transplant on feb 6 of this year of a deceased person, he stayed at hospital that time for little over a week of time then came back home. In between, he had some issues where he was having alot of pain in pelvic area where he was taken back again to the Mercy hospital where he had surgery where they discovered he had a bile leak, he was also having conspiation issues too.Now I know this sounds very irresposnbile, I dont live with my father btw but my brother got sick recently was with vomitting and motion assuming a virus.Anyways my sister went over to check on them dad and brother, she just got sick recently too last night vomitting and motion too.yes they were not wearing any masks. They should realize this.Anyways Im very upset and worried.please give me hope my father will he oky.he is so full of life He is around 72 but still acts like he is in his 20s.. very talented always active. He just doesnt deserve it.will he recover??Im so anxious. He is still at ER, he had a 101 fever last night, shortness of breath.

2023.03.26 13:16 LogicGoat74 [UK] [Giveaway] Free Unused Humble Bundle Codes for 3DS eShop
Hi there,
I hope it's okay to post this. I saw some other giveaways on this subreddit.
A few years ago, I got some Wii U and 3DS codes from a humble bundle. I never got a 3DS in the end so I'm now giving them away before the eShop closure. (They could potentially be expired but other posts online seem to suggest they'll still work).
I have five codes to give away, four of which are games:
- Retro City Rampage: DX
- Shantae and the Pirate's Curse
- Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure
- Nano Assault EX
And one of which is a theme:
- Retro City Rampage 3DS Theme
To enter all you have to do is tell us (one of) your favourite Nintendo gameâ and what you like about it. Oh, sorry, also mention which codes you'd like a chance of winning, please! I realise some people may already have some of the games already.
I'll pick winners at some point after 1:00pm British Summer Time.
Good luck!
â : It doesn't have to be a 3DS game and it doesn't have to be made/published by Nintendo. Any game you played on a Nintendo console is fine.

2023.03.26 13:08 just_a_girl22 22F [chat] Looking for a chill person who likes voice calls.
Voice calls are a must. I do text but I prefer calls.
A little about me: I'm Kat. I'm 22 from NC. I'm a very accepting and non judgmental person. I love psychology, moral philosophy, and mental health awareness. I hope to one day be a therapist. I enjoy intellectual conversations and friendly debates. I'm also learning American Sign Language. I love reading and drawing. (I can recommend books and movies) I also recently got a ukulele that I'm really excited to learn how to play! (Pics of me on my profile if you're interested in what I look like)
I have dissociative identity disorder (DID) so be prepared for that. If you have questions about what that is feel free to ask.
I'm looking for someone who loves dark humor and has a lot of free time to watch movies with me and play games. (Mostly among us and don't starve together)
Sorry if I seem a bit selective, I'm just trying to give a clear idea of who I am so I don't have to go through a million messages.
When you message me please tell me what you like about my post so I know you read the entire post. (Messages that don't include this will be ignored-I don't want to waste my time with people who are just messaging random people
Apologies if I reply slow. I may get overwhelmed and have to take a break if i get bombarded with messages.

2023.03.26 13:00 Jirachibi1000 Why People Hate Mania
See this a lot on this sub and wanted to give my thoughts so people'd ask less, i guess?
My time to shine for once. *Cracks knuckles*
1.) The first single being Young and Menace was...I don't wanna say a stupid decision but not the smartest one. Its the most different song on the album and for your first taste of it to be something so radically different than normal was not a good thing. Its why even more experimental albums from bands/musicians usually have the first single from them be something closer to what the fans are used to and expect.
2.) They changed and didn't evolve. Evolution is when you take a core and keep it the same, but add new spices and sauces to it. Change is just...change. Its the difference between changing your burger recipe by adding new ingredients and making burgers but then suddenly switching to sushi. Look at Waterparks. They're still pop punk at their core, they still have the same feel and vibe, but they added elements from electronica and hip hop in order to feel different while staying the same heart. Same with Sum 41, they still have their snotty pop punk vibe and feel, but they added metal elements and more serious themes to evolve. Both are valid, but both are different. It felt more like change than evolution, which a lot of people hate, especially when people call it evolution.
3.) It was changing in a way that felt...and I HATE using this word....Sellout/cash grabby. In a lot of cases, a band like...lets say Waterparks...changing sounds comes across as "Oh we wanted to add something to our core sound to make something new". Mania felt more like 'Whats popular rn? Trappy stuff? kk got it. Oh Centuries did well, let's make Champion as Centuries 2.0" instead of thinking those changes would benefit your sound.
4.) Timing, honestly. 2017-2018 was a bad era for rock music. Every band in the same sphere as Fall Out Boy made their least rock aligned album at the time. Panic at the Disco dropped rock entirely after DOAB for PFTW, Sleeping with Sirens went from screamo metal to slightly rock tinged pop, All Time Low made a poppy record, Linkin Park made a poppy record. It felt like yet ANOTHER band that got rid of the guitars and just went pop to make money and be more popular. Not saying they DID that or that this is inherantly a bad thing, but it felt like it.

2023.03.26 12:58 deepvoicednerd [Motorsport] "They said to me, if you Peter Brock announce this car at the end of this week, we will withdraw all support. Well, Iâve gone ahead, and Iâve announced it.â How a box of crystals brought down Australiaâs number one race team and its driver. The rise and fall of the Holden Dealer Team.
This post was originally a reply to a question on one of my other posts here, but it really deserves its own more detailed post simply because even over 30 years later it just makes me and a lot of others go âEeh? How did that actually happen?â
When it comes to sporting rivalries in Australia, Ford vs Holden is one of the longest. Today, itâs hard to believe with Ford no longer making cars in Australia and Holden no longer even existing but there was a time were what car Australians drove really mattered. Were you a Holden family with Monaroâs, Toranaâs and Commodores or a Ford family with a Falcon in your driveway? It was one or the other. No in between. There are stories of Holden-driving fathers refusing to allow their daughters to date boys simply because their dads drove Fords. The battles were fought on every level: advertising, dealers and from the mid-1960âs on the racetrack. And thatâs were our story kicks offâŠ
It's 1967 and for the first time, an Australian-made car has won the Bathurst 500. A Ford Falcon XR driven by Harry Firth and Fred Gibson wins the race and Ford Australia are ecstatic. A phrase commonly used at the time is âWin on Sunday, sell on Monday.â Winning Bathurst was a big deal and Ford reaped the benefits with sales and foot traffic into their dealerships. Crucially it really hurt their main rivals Holden.
For 1968 Holden wanted revenge on the racetrack. They had a great car in which to get it too, the Monaro. There was however, a bit of a problem. You see Holden despite being proudly Australian was owned by General Motors and at the time, GM had a blanket ban on their manufacturers going motor racing.
Pretty much everyone within Holden wanted to go racing though, so the Holden heavies looked for a loophole that would get them on the Bathurst grid and they quickly found one. They realised that there was nothing to stop them giving some money to their dealers and telling the dealers to then give said money to an idependant race team and voila! Youâve got yourself an all-but-official factory race team that gets around the GM ban. The man at the head of this team is David McKay, Australiaâs first touring car champion. Heâs ready to take on Fordâs leader Harry Firth.
For the 1968 Bathurst 500, the Holden vs Ford battlelines are drawn. And Holden gets its revenge as Firthâs Fordâs flounder. Strangely though, itâs a privateer Monaro that takes the chequered flag first. McKay brings his factory-but-not-really-factory-just-in-case-Detroit-gets-wind-of-this Monaroâs home second, third and fifth. And then he made an error. He failed to protest against the winning Monaro that some alleged ran with an illegal brake system. Holdenâs heavies werenât happy at all. They were in it to win with their own cars not their customers. And then for McKay, things got worse.
After Bathurst, Holden and Ford would face off again in the 1968 London to Sydney Marathon, the most epic car race ever staged. Almost 100 teams from all over the world took part but Australia was only focused on Firth & McKay. They were evenly matched. 3 Falcons for Firth and 3 Monaroâs for McKay. And just like Bathurst, neither of them won.
But in the Ford vs Holden battle, Ford came out most definitely on top, finishing 3rd, 6th and 8th and taking the best performing team award for their troubles. McKayâs Monaroâs came home 12th, 14th and McKayâs lead car DNFâed after rolling in the Australian outback. And that was the last straw for Holden. McKay had failed them.
Ford Australia meantime was going through a restructure. The restructure involved refreshing their racing team. And incredibly, that meant showing Harry Firth the door. Big Mistake. Huge. Youâd think after his marathon efforts, Ford would be pretty chuffed, but they got rid of him. Holden pounced. Within a fortnight, Harry was a Holden man. All his mechanics and engineers went with him. This was the start of what became the Holden Dealer Team.
Despite nicking all of Fordâs mechanics and tech know-how, Firth failed to poach their drivers. That forced him to go searching for young talent. He eventually found Colin Bond a promising rally and circuit driver and then noticed a driver of a little blue Austin A30 that was giving almost every competitor a complete belting. His name? Peter Brock.
For Bathurst 1969, Firth did what McKay couldnât: Deliver the Holden factory a Bathurst win. Bond won, Brock was third and just behind was Fordâs new lead driver. He was an ex-pat Canadian who looked like an angry maths teacher. His name? Allan Moffat. A rivalry had just started.
For 1970 & â71, Moffat dominated the Bathurst enduro in the mighty GTHO Falcon but in 1972, Brock struck back for Holden. That win made him the golden boy of Australian motorsport. Brock wore the white hat: hippy-handsome, a great driver and a man of the people, driving the Australian car. Moffat wore the black hat: cranky, methodical, withdrawn and representing the American manufacturer.
For 1973 the ante was turned up. The Bathurst race went from imperial to metric. 500 miles became 1000 kilometres. The regulations changed from Improved Production (stock-standard production cars with minimal upgrades. Some were even road registered) to the more liberal Group C Touring Cars. Moffat cleaned up in â73 but it wasnât all doom and gloom for Holden when at the end of the year, Ford pulled the plug on its factory race team. From 1974 Moffat was forced to go it alone in his own team with only back-door support from Ford.
But Holden wasnât without its troubles either. At the end of 1974, Brock had a blow-up with Firth and left the HDT. Some say Firth fired him. Others say Brock grew tired of Firthâs iron fist approach to running the team and dipped out.
In two years both the white knight and the black knight were out on their own. And yetâŠthey excelled. Despite driving a shoestring budget Holden, Brock won Bathurst in 1975. Moffat was a constant front-runner. The back-door support from Ford helped. The Holden Dealer Team though remained THE Team. Firth still ran it efficiently and he still had Colin Bond. Like Brock though, Bond was growing tired of Firth. He was paid next to nothing for his driving and expected to be on spanner duty in the workshop. So when Allan Moffat made him an offer at the end of 1976, Colin accepted.
In 1977, to quote Moffat: âWe blew the doors off Holdenâ. With the HDT now minus their two star drivers, Holden floundered on the track. Moffatâs Ford team was well-backed and well-organised and as a result, Moffat in Falcon #1 and Bond in Falcon #2 dominated the year. The crowning glory was their 1-2 formation finish at Bathurst. Ford got an insane amount of mileage out of it. Nearly 50 years later, it remains one of the most iconic images of Australian motorsport. At the end of the year an exasperated Holden official approached Moffat and in desperation asked: âWhat can we do to beat you?â
Moffat shrugged and replied âSimple. Re-employ Brockâ
With Harry Firth retiring, thatâs exactly what they did. For 1978, Brock was back as a driver for the HDT. Moffatâs honest reply to that Holden official came back to bite him in the clacker. With money from Ford drying up, Moffat began to flounder and Brock dominated for the next two years, culminating in the 1979 Bathurst 1000 were he won by a whopping 6 laps and broke the lap record on the final lap. What a show off.
But then right after that epic performanceâŠHolden pulled the plug. They were done.
Brock however refused to give up. He assumed ownership of the team and over Christmas, embarked on a whistle-stop tour of the Holden dealerships offering them a deal. The deal he offered them was a tricked-up road-going Holden Commodore built by the HDT. Any Holden dealership who helped fund the race team got exclusive access to sell the road-going car. The campaign was a success. Over 100 dealerships signed up putting the âDealerâ right back into the Holden Dealer Team and HDT Special Vehicles was born.
In the early 1980âs, the HDT lead by Brock was a juggernaut both on and off the racetrack. Bathurst victory after Bathurst victory and the road car business boomed. Initially, Holden were reluctant but seeing the demand, they supported the program. By 1981 the first HDT road cars were delivered to the clamouring dealers. As Brockâs number one lieutenant and teammate John Harvey put it âDemand was so high, we couldnât make them quick enough!â
The Group C Touring Car era ended at the end of 1984 and the Holden Dealer Team looked every bit like champions. Multiple Bathurst and other race wins, a road car arm that was fast becoming a great Australian success story and the best and most popular driver in the country at the head of it.
What next?
For 1985, Australia adopted international Group A Touring Car regulations. With every touring car series all over the world running to these regulations, you could take a car all over the world and race it. Pretty cool right? Brock certainly thought so and started planning...
But before we get to the HDT takes on the world part, letâs back up a bit. At the back end of 1984, Peter Brock was absolutely knackered. On top of driving, running the race team, an unsuccessful Le Mans campaign and the road car division, he liked a drink and a smoke or ten. Heck the HDTâs main sponsor was Marlboro. There were rumours he was really, really crook.
Ultimately, Brock found a chiropractor called Eric Dowker who got him back into shape. Dowker also got him off the grog and the cigs and even got him to go vegan.
For 1985, Peter Brock rolled out ready for the Group A era. He was in much better health by now thanks to Dowkerâs interesting therapy (weâll get to that in a minute). Mobil replaced Marlboro as the main sponsor on the race cars and Brock set about plans to take on the world.
First thing he needed to do was to sell enough road going HDT cars to satisfy the Group A rules. Once he had done that, the race Holden could be based off the HDT road car with all the tricked-up bits on it. By the end of 1985, he had done just that.
1986 was going to be a big year for the HDT. Their new car was ready to take on not just Australia but also Europe. Brock was looking ahead to 1987 and the World Touring Car Championship that going to take place. As well as his regular Australian campaign he was going to take the HDT to Europe for a partial campaign in the European series as âdress rehearsalâ for the WTCC a year later.
And then Brock did something unthinkable. He invited Allan Moffat to morning tea at his workshop. At the time, Moffat was unemployed. After his Ford support dried up, he became a Mazda man which didnât make him more popular. In fact it made him less popular. Signs that read âno Jap-Crapâ were prominent around Australian racetracks in the early 80âs. He had delivered them a reasonable amount of success but when the Group A era started, Mazda didnât have a car that would fit the regulations. Moffat was out of a job when the phone rang with Brockâs morning tea invite.
According to Moffat âMorning tea turned into long lunch, long lunch became afternoon tea and I drove home in a HDT Commodore, my new company car.â
All of Australian motorsport chocked on their breakfast when they read the headline âMoffat joins HDTâ. Superman had just hired Lex Luther. âWhat the actual f**k?â said literally everyone.
With everyone still in shock, Brock & Moffat started off 1986 with a win in New Zealand, their first race as teammates. They both looked at each other after the race and almost simultaneously asked âWhy didnât we do this a decade earlier?â And then everyone got it. The best driver in Australia had hired the second-best driver in Australia. A pretty good duo to take on the world, yeah?
The first half of 1986 was a busy one for the HDT. The Australian championship, the partial European campaign that culminated in the Spa 24 Hour in Belgium and the ever-expanding road car business, Peter Brock was a man who looked to have it made. As Moffat put it, âPeter was well on his way to becoming a millionaire while the rest of us were just journeymenâ.
And thenâŠ
Then came the Energy Polariser.
This is when things turn to sh*t.
As I said Eric Dowker was a key part of Brockâs life. Along with going smoke and grog-free, part of his treatments involved crystals and all sorts of stuff that would be considered âNew Ageâ. Noticing how well it had worked on him, Brock became a full-on convert. He was bordering on being obsessed with these damn crystals and then he had an idea:
If crystals and help human performance, what about car performance? The idea seemed innocent enough, but most would have written it off. Brock didnât. According to some from within the HDT, crystals were getting dangled around the engine dyno and other areas of the workshop. Dowker started appearing at every race meeting in full HDT uniform. He was mockingly referred to as âDoctor Feelgoodâ.
Ultimately, Brock and Dowker came up with a small plastic box filled with a pair of magnets separated by some crystals embedded in epoxy resin. It was held to the firewall of a car by a single self-tapping screw. The Energy Polariser.
According to Brock âItâs a magic cure. It makes a shithouse car good.â
Brock had already been quietly fitting them to the race cars without telling the other drivers. John Harvey only found out when the polariser broke off its mounting point during a practice session and almost went under his brake pedal.
Brock then started offering them to customers. For just $467AUD you could have this little box of magic fitted to the firewall of your car and it would cure all its ills (allegedly).
Now put yourself in Holdenâs shoes. You have an image to maintain right? And then you find out your golden boy is with no scientific basis, putting a box of crystals in cars that have your name and badge on them claiming that theyâre âAligning the molecules of the engineâ. HmmâŠ
So very reasonably, Holden at this point is saying âUh Peter? This Energy Polariser thingy? Whatâs the thinking behind it? Seems a bit fishy to us.â
Brock and Dowker respond to Holden with a press release. It was essentially one page of complete and utter gibberish were Brock and Dowker crap on about âvibrationsâ and how the Polariser will âalign the molecules in its sphere of influenceâ. Want to give yourself a migraine? Here it is in all its glory (apologies for the quality):
https://hsvclubnsw.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/DB-Technology-Polariser-Statement.pdf Remember, this isnât a cult leader or a pyramid scheme sales pitch or a Byron Bay âInstagram influencerâ coming out with this. This is coming from a racing car driver.
The real concerning thing for Holden and anyone who knows a thing or two about cars was the recommended tyre pressures for a Polariser-equipped car: 20 psi. For those of you who donât know, thatâs all but flat. But according to Brock, thatâs okay because âthe molecules will be aligned, and all will be wellâŠâ
At best it was all pseudoscience and at worst it was downright dangerous. Holden were alarmed and insisted on properly testing it. To nobodyâs surprise it was found to be simply what it looked like: a box of crystals. Brock then went over Holdenâs head to General Motors thinking that surely the mothership would hear him out. They didnât. Still though, Brock rejected the perfectly reasonable findings that his box of crystals was useless. He even lied to Holden that when GM tested it, they thought it was brilliant and were considering making it a standard feature in all their cars. A quick phone called from Australia to America proved that to be false. As far as Brock was concerned, the Energy Polariser was so advanced, there wasnât a way to properly test it. Holden were NOT happy at this point.
Brock though didnât care. Even when the Australian Scepticâs Society awarded him their âBent Spoon Awardâ, he pushed on determinedly creating a road car that in his mind would be his and the HDTâs crowning glory: The Director.
All this culminated in February 1987.
The World Touring Car Championship that the HDT were going to take on? Nope. Brock pulled the pin leaving co-drivers Moffat and Harvey (who were both finalising sponsorship deals) out in the cold.
And then he really, really shot himself in the foot when he launched The Director. As an aside, The Director was one badass looking car. Based on the Holden VL Commodore with a low body kit and flared rear wing it still looks the goods today. But Holden took a dim view of it for two main reasons:
- It came with the Energy Polariser fitted as standard.
- It featured a new independent rear suspension system developed by the HDT that Holden hadnât tested or approved.
Holden had asked for more time to evaluate the suspension, but Brock ignored them and refused to even allow Holden to test it. On top the Energy Polariser, it was the last straw.
At the launch of The Director Brock stood in front of The Director that sat on a rotating platform and said the words that put the final nail in the HDTâs coffin:
âWe have a motor car which you can probably see circulating behind me which is capable of gaining us some much-earned export dollars and Holden are trying to stop me and Iâm a pretty determined sort of person and Iâm pressing on. They said to me, if you Peter Brock announce this car at the end of this week, we will withdraw all support. Well, Iâve gone ahead, and Iâve announced it.â After that, Holden were officially done. They terminated their partnership with the HDT. The dealers cut the support to the race team and the money dried up. The road car business was finished and the race team was decimated. Allan Moffat and John Harvey resigned.
Here's a news report that sums up the events:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZZpP4fbgeE&t=196s Moffat summed it up best in his autobiography:
âI have been through the corporate wringer myself. I have railed against bureaucracy and been frustrated by people who simply wonât be reasonable and do things my way. I have, in my view, been severely let down by people Iâve trusted-although possibly they donât share that opinion. But if Iâd been in a position where I had General Motors in my hip pocket, I would never, never, never have put myself above them. Thatâs not corporate cowardice; itâs just common sense.â The HDT was done. Or was it? You see although Holden didnât want a bar of Brock, his main sponsor Mobil reasoned that he was still the fan favourite and therefore, still money in the bank and agreed to sponsor what was left of the team. He just needed a bit of extra cash to keep him racing. And it came from an unlikely source.
He had three race cars left in his workshop. Two were for racing in Australia and the third was for the aborted World Touring Car campaign. Three men showed up to look at that car. They told Brock they represented a huge fan of his who wanted to own a bit of Brock history. They wrote a cheque for $125 000, gave it to Brock, put the car on their trailer and took it straight to the carâs new owner: Allan Moffat.
Moffat and John Harvey ended up doing what Brock was going to do: Have a crack at the World Championship. It was only a partial campaign on a shoestring budget, but they took a victory at Monza and an outstanding 4th outright at the Spa 24 Hour, driving as a two-man team when everyone else had 3. For me, as an Australian motorsport nutcase, this remains one of the biggest âwhat-ifsâ. I mean just imagine if Brock pulled his head in and they had a proper well-financed crack at it. The HDT could have been world championsâŠ
But thatâs all hypotheticals. For 1987, Brock ran a much leaner operation. He had a quiet Australian championship. No wins and no podiums. He was even lapped in several races. He cut a dejected figure. And thenâŠ
He went out and won the Bathurst 1000.
Against the worldâs best (Bathurst was part of the World Touring Car Championship), and in a shoestring budget sh*tbox of a car, he won the damn thing! (Iâve covered that race more thoroughly in a previous post here. Just check my profile for the âNice wheel arches mateâ story. Highly recommend, great read đ)
After 1987 though, Brock really was in the wilderness. He spent 1988 in an uncompetitive BMW and 1989 & 1990 in a, wait for it, in a Ford. He did win a handful of races but was far from the force he once was. At the end of 1990 the team was officially closed down.
For 1991 Brock went back to Holden, albeit as a privateer, again with minimal success. For 1994 though, Holden took him back in a factory capacity. After the HDT was wound down, Holden backed a new factory squad run by the Tom Walkinshaw Racing empire, the Holden Racing Team. For 1994, the HRT reasoned that commercially, having the peopleâs champion and the money from Mobil that came with him was a good thing. Brock was back albeit just as a driver. He had no say in the running of the team. Still, he became more competitive again, but he never quite rediscovered his untouchable brilliance from the late 70âs and early 80âs. The younger generation was taking over. By the end of 1997, he retired from fulltime driving.
The problem for Brock, was that retirement didnât suit him. He was restless and kept on having little comebacks. Some were successful, others less so. He also got right into tarmac rallying which would sadly be the death of him. Ask any Australian motor racing fan where they were and what they were doing on the 8th of September 2006, and they will be able to tell you. I know I can. Driving in a Targa Rally in Western Australia, Brockâs Daytona Coupe went driverâs door first into a thick gum tree. He was killed instantly. All of Australia went into mourning for the second time in just a couple of days. Steve Irwin had died earlier in the week. September â06 sucked if you were Australian.
It's been over 15 years since Peter Brock died. Many books, documentaries and podcasts have been made about him. Thereâs no doubt that he was THE fan favourite of Australian motorsport and his legacy and success is still revered today. And yet, when you bring up February 1987 and the events leading up to it to a Brock-diehard even theyâll admit it wasnât his finest hour. Good people sometimes make bad decisions.
To finish up, hereâs an ironic twist to the story. Since Brockâs death, the value of the HDT road cars has spiked due to their heritage and rareness. But the most valuable of all? That would be The Director. Only 9 were made before the HDT road car division was shut down so their value has soared. Originally priced at $87 000 when launched in 1987, one of them sold at auction for well over $300 000 in 2010. The same car that brought the company down is now the most valuable car that it produced.
And yes, it came equipped with the Energy Polariser.

2023.03.26 12:58 HelloJH1 My 104 years Bayern Munich Career
Google Doc with the data about career players(with screenshots of squads) So I played as a manager at Bayern Munich for 104 years from the beginning to the end, until my phone slipped and I misclicked and joined my rivals Borussia Dortmund(at this point I tilted and deleted my career, so no screenshots I have now) About the link: There you will find list of all academy players, all players that were bought and Hall of Honour, which includes players, that contributed a lot to the team. Also you will find information about from where players were bought and where they were sold. Also some records and all-time goalscorers are included. About the Trophies: I won pretty much everything. I had almost every year Champions League(over 90), Europe Super Cup( around 80) and DFB-Polkal(over 90). Won every single Bundesliga title. I lost several times DFB-Polkal to BVB and once Hertha BSC won it. German Supercup I also loosed once to RB Leipzig and Once to BVB. UCL At first years was hard, i lost it to Manchester City, Real Madrid and PSG on several occasions, but overtime I was able to dominate Europe. First 40 years my competitors were Benfica and Chelsea, I lost from time to time to them. At some point I had a lot of money, so I just started investing it into other clubs, like my home country clubs Kairat and Tobol Kostanay, and only Kairat was able to take 3 Europe Leagues and one Conference League titles. After decades of investment I was able to return glory days of AC Milan(won 3 UCL and dominated Seria A), Real Madrid was not able to compete with Barcelona and after 20 years, Catalonians won every single LaLiga title, except one occasions when Atletico Madrid somehow won it?(They finished 4th in UCL Group stage next season). Liverpool, after getting only 300 M was able to recover their form and in 3rd season, after investments they won UCL, and next season they Defended their Title once Again. Manchester United Also won UCL once. In late 2090s PSG also won once and Sporting also won UCL in 2060s. What about the leagues?: Well Bundesliga is obvious one, FCB dominated every single year. BVB mostly always held 2nd place, but RB Leipzig competed with them at first, but then lost it form. In 2040s-2050s Hertha BSC and Hoffenheim was able to finish 2nd and 3rd respectively, leaving BVB with 4th place. In 2080s I invested in Stuttgart and they were able to get 2nd place once, but always finished 3rd. In LaLiga, As I said, Los Blancos held 1st place for 20 years, but then Barcelona took over. Real Madrid always finished 2nd, I suppose and Athletic Club, Altetico Madrid, Getafe and Celta always rotated. Seria A was chaotic. AC Milan won first decade titles in Italy, but after Inter Milan took over. And then over 40 years Scudetto jumped from hand to hand of these clubs: Roma, AC Milan, Napoli, Inter Milan, Bologna, Lazio, Juventus and Atalanta. But AC Milan took over the lead with my investments. Also want to mention, that Inter Milan became the club of old players, As they always bought over 30 footballers from different clubs. It was heartwarming when they united 3 of my midfielders. Ligue 1. PSG dominated every single year(Mbappe was not able to leave Parisians). Olympique Lyon and Marseille was in UCL groups at first. But after Souchaux, Monaco, Nantes and Lens took over 2-5 places. EPL. Manchester City dominated England for 20 years, but After Haaland became a 40+ year old player, they gave up Top 1 spot to Chelsea, who became winners of EPL for 70-80 years or so. Manchester United tried to overthrow them, and at once they were able to do it, but they loosed the grip instantly. After I invested money into Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, EPL became more entertaining. Sky blues overtook the lead, but then Liverpool won EPL for 5 straight years and then Red Devils and Blue Lions took several trophies as well. Arsenal won FA Cup once and Europa League once, but were left out for majority of UCL games. Austrian League: Salzburg won every single year. Eerste Divisie: Ajax dominated for 80 years, but then Feyenoord and PSV started to compete as well. Liga Portugal: Benfica dominated, but in 2080s Sporting started to questions Benfica's leadership and started winning titles consecutively until modern days. Interesting Clubs to talk about: Dinamo Zagreb became strongest club in EL due to selling young croatian talents to big clubs and using finances wisely. Ludogorets became factory for great bulgarian midfielders(EPL especially loved them). Sparta Praha also played great for their country and level, winning peak Chelsea at one point(Of course they were destroyed 8-0 by Bayern Munich). But I was more interested in Slavia Praha, due to one of my academ players: Michi Wiese, who became one of the greatest players IMO. He always was a top goalscorer in EL and CL, and once they were in UCL and at Group stage he was also top goalscorer, but his club performed poorly in every competition, They could not able to win EL or CL or even czech league. But after some decames, when Michi Wiese was around 50 years, they started winning domestic titles and EL and once were able to advance from UCL group stage with 2 big giants(don't remember who it was). I think Michi Wiese became their manager, and speaking of Michi, If not Marc "Kaiser" Kunz, he would play for Bayern, but history decided, that Kunz would stay, and Wiese leave. Also jewish clubs started to perform greatly at 2080s and afterwards. A lot of Nigerian players busted into european scene with astonishing results and my personal favourites Guinea-Bissau players came to Europe(if you checked the google doc link, you would know what I mean). Also Ulsan and Suwon became main dillers of korean wonderkids to the world and in 2100s mexican players came to the scene. Brazilians struggled in period of 2040s-2080s but then South American Boom started, when a lot of latin players invaded all top clubs around the world(Liverpool had 4 chillian players and Manchester United two ecadurians). International Arena: France, Portugal and Brazil were winning all the WC. But then Germany started to win Euros and WC. Then Sporting, Benfica, Salzburg, Chelsea and Manchester United decided to become gods and create beasts, who only by touching ball would already score hat-tricks. In other words: portugal, austria, england, scottland and ireland became top teams in the world. Korean tried to get into the elite group, but somehow they failed. USA at some point became strong club(when Andy Vasquez, Bob Kruz were at their peak). Then Germany was saved by Marc Kunz(he is just the icon of his generation). Also Netherlands were a top team(After Wesley Teunissen retired(RIP legend)). Overall all mentioned teams except Korea were winning WC and once Denmark won WC, which was absolutely insane, because their highest player was 85, when Germany had 6 90+ players. Spain also won twice or thrice. France won once and Italy won once. Ballon D'or: It is rigged, so I'm not going to talk about it. But if you're interesting, every single players of 94-95 rating in my squad won multiple times this award. Conclusion: I grew fond of this career and really enjoyed playing with the players that I bought and/or developed. I still remember most of the names of all legendary players. If I were to choose the best season, it would be 2039/2040. Also If I will overcome my laziness, I will remake google doc to be more precise and maybe add interesting stories from career.
P.S. Firstly, I'm not native english speaker, so sorry for any mistakes in language. Secondary, in google doc list of players are not in chronological order. Only chronological data is the table with season, captain and vice captains and screenshots of squades(Which I think is the only interesting part).

2023.03.26 12:52 Still-Nectarine-9914 A short story of the life of a Vine Voice
Long before August 2022 was a small group of people hand picked by Amazon from around the Amazon trading world for their writing and reviewing skills.
These people were called Vine Voices and were given special privileges in return for testing and writing honest detailed reviews on products new to the market. They were graded and monitored on their performance by the amount of helpful votes they got from prospective buyers (which no longer applies). It was an honour to be a vine voice, one of the selected few. I - like some of you - am one of those vine voices.
Before August 2022, being a vine voice was a responsibility taken seriously. We took pride in our reviews and made every effort to give the best product evaluation that we could according to our experience of it. After all, prospective buyers relied on us to give them an honest account of the products to help them make the right decision.
A vine voice review was trusted and respected because we were honest. We didn't rate a product higher than its worth just because it was free. If it was bad we said so. Hence why authors assigned us the nickname of ... Amazon's assassins.
At first the products were mainly books then came video then gradually other items. The list was sent once a month at the same time on the same day, so everyone would wait in earnest on that day. There wasn't many items but there were far fewer voices also and quite often some of us would miss out and have to wait another month. There were no targets to meet back then though so it wasn't a worry we concerned ourselves with
As time moved on and Amazon progressed, Amazon started to move into the market of technology. Our vine lists started to become more interesting and varied and, more frequent which eventually gave birth to... The Vine Portal
As the vine voice review programme moved quickly forward so did Amazon. Recruiting more sellers with varying products. At first the cost of joining the programme for a seller was high so only big brand name companies could afford to join. The lists of available items for vine voices became more frequent. High value items started to drop into our Rfy lists regularly.
We had time to browse the list and check the details of an item before making a decision. Items would stay on our lists for hours while we 'ummed and arred' whether we wanted it or not. We had time to take measurements, check compatibility and space availability for large items like furniture, tvs, computers etc and the item would still be available on our lists some time later.
It was great, vine was a dream come true for a carefully selected few. Now we had a variety of products to choose from. We could decide not to take that projector or tv because there'll be another tomorrow or the day after . There was no rush.
Then Amazon made a sweeping change. It restructured the costs for sellers to join the vine programme. Thus making it cheaper for medium and small businesses to offer items onto vine while at the same time offering a promotion of free joining fee to new businesses coming on board. That brought about a flood of cheap products into the lists that we affectionately know as ' tat'
My personal experience of vine has been one of an evolving self discovery.
From the time of when I first was invited and thinking " Am I dreaming? Is this real ? ". I felt humbled yet confused that I had been chosen to become one of the privileged few. I hadn't at that time bought much from Amazon and so my reviews were few - however, they were truthful, insightful, concise and compact with details.
As time went by and I amassed more experience of product reviewing I - like others - took great pride in offering the best service for the vine programme. Making every effort to be worthy of the honour and the privilege that had been bestowed upon me.
Each day I would stroll through the lists at leisure and pick out suitable items I liked. Some useful household items some hobby things and some new things to try. Some high value and some not, eagerly awaiting their arrival.
Once delivered I would hurriedly open the boxes - again, eager to try them out. I would push and pull, twist and bend at things to test their durability. If I ordered bakeware I would bake purposely to test the product ( I hate baking by the way). If I ordered paints I would paint a picture to show the results and capabilities of the product. I would make notes as I went along testing the product then finally I would sit and draft out my review before editing for final submission. I enjoyed every second of it all.
I wasn't free from the daily feelings of guilt though. I have been given this wonderful opportunity to obtain items free when everyone I know and the majority of those I don't know have not. It cut through me like a hot knife through butter when someone I knew was struggling financially to get their TV or washing machine fixed. Or to replace a kettle or toaster that just broke. I wanted to help but was bound by ' vine rules ' of not telling anyone that I am a vine voice nor parting with items for 6 months. I could slip them a spare kettle but offering a new tv or washing machine without an explanation as to how I obtained it was - to say the least - somewhat suspicious. I still to this day feel guilt that I am this privileged and others aren't and I fight a constant battle inside daily of wanting to share it all with others less fortunate.
Next came the third quarter of 2022 when Amazon recruited a swathe of new vine voice recruits to - what many of us believe - was to reduce the number of unwanted items that were - by now - building up daily. It was a good business move by Amazon as they only get paid when an item is reviewed so with hundreds of items going un reviewed Amazon were losing a lot of potential spondoolies.
It wasn't such a good move for us ancients though. It meant more competition for the items available because of course, the new recruits weren't going to just take the stuff we didn't want and why would they? They all have as much right to everything as the rest of us. We were all new once. It's only right they play on a fair playing field. Suddenly everything changed. Gone were my days of being able to leisurely stroll through the lists without panic or pressure. Then to top it all Amazon brought in targets and tiers. Vine now became a different beast altogether.
Now I found myself in pool of piranhas in the midst of a feeding frenzy. Gone are the days of taking time to read and evaluate if an item is suitable for what I want. I'm now fighting against thousands of opponents for each morsel. My instinct tells me to step back but my drive to survive says fight. I join the swarm and battle for enough crumbs to keep me swimming in the pool for another day.
As days and weeks go by I find myself more and more consumed with the fight of vine. It used to be a sunny meadow of golden treasures just waiting for the picking. Now it's become a bloody battle ground of winners and losers.
The constant checking the lists throughout the morning, waking early throughout the night in order to hopefully chance on an early drop. Seeing poor quality reviews on high value high end items from other voices everywhere I look degenerating the value of the vine voice program.
Stress and frustration has taken its toll. Vine no longer is the joy it once was. Every morning I found myself putting on the proverbial armour and stepping into war on the vine battle field only to discover it's a never ending war that none of us can ever win. We may achieve victory one day only to lose the next and the next and the next
I decided to to take the advice of my instinct and step back. I hung up my battle armour and sat peacefully watching from the sidelines. Waiting for all participants to exhaust themselves and max out their quota, then I leisurely pick up the late gems that drop in.
My life is no longer a battle for survival in the vine gold tier, I can attain that with enough useful items after the feeding frenzy is over. Nor is it a meadow of gold for the picking - those days are gone for good and will never return, but it belongs to me again and not vine. I get on with my day without thoughts of vine, without the stress and frustration that comes with it now. I have found a piece of the meadow that is untarnished by greed that offers sufficient morsels for my needs. With my back to the battle field I wait patiently for the glisten of a gem to appear. I am at one in peace with vine once again.

2023.03.26 12:44 bearseatbeetsDKS Worst Mirtazapine Taper Yet
I don't even remember how long I was on it before I started trying to get off it. I went through a severe trauma, a fire that my partner died in and because I was on 45 mg mirtazapine my system turned on me. I was doubled up in the fetal position, couldn't eat had horrific paresthisia (crawling in my skin). I knew part of the reaction was the effects of the trauma (I escaped with only a pj shirt. Went to the hospital without pants, didn't have glasses for months couldn't see anything as my vision is terrible) but I knew that mirtazapine was the thing that was making my body turn on me. I had tried going off of it before and it being pretty much opiate withdrawal. Doctors were always invalidating and unhelpful. I knew I needed to take matters in my own hands. If I ever went through something horrible again I knew, that to survive it I'd need to be off mirtazapine.
I began tapering 1 mg at a time in January 2017. Every taper was carnage. Cant sleep, can't eat, paresthesia. Those words don't do it justice. It takes me about 3 months to find a new normal and not be handicapped by the taper anymore. I have done this process about 40 times now. I finally, after 6 long years have just done my final taper a week ago. I went from 1.25mg to 0. I used to smoke weed which helped tremendously with my tapers but I quit that a year ago. So I'm raw dogging this one. This is the worst taper yet. I am in so much emotional distress. I cannot stop crying and really truly want to die. I have developed chronic fatigue through this process. All I can do is work a couple skip the dishes shifts over the weekend and then spend 5 days in bed recovering (this is when I've settled from a taper and is my best case scenario). I have wasted my entire youth and more importantly all my health fighting to get off this fucking drug. I can't express how bad this is. I'm terrified all the time. I had a panic attack after failing to fall asleep for 4 hours last night I felt like I was going to die from it. Just had a deep knowing about how trapped I am in existence and how miserable and meaningless my life is and always will be. I only feel safe in my bed with the lights off. But if I stay here too long without eating or drinking I might deteriorate and end up hospitalized which id rather die than ever go through again.
After I'm done this, which at present I cannot fathom ever being okay again. And I've decided that my miserable worthless life of back pain and crippling exhaustion and being alone all the time, isn't something I even care about "getting back to". But assuming I get through this and ever go back to work, I have cipralex to taper off of. Those hit me ever harder than mirt tapers in a different way. And take a year to find a new normal. I'll be 41 before I don't use all my health doing the next fucking taper.
I do this in hopes that the grass will be greener on the other side but after 40 tapers I know now that it never will be. On the other side I'll just be all alone with my many incurable mental illnesses. My severe chronic fatigue. I feel like since the fire I just never got back out into the world. I gave up on life and it gave up on me.
Even if someone offered me my dreams on a silver platter. An acerage with horses. I couldn't even ride my horses. My body is too fucked up.
Anyways I know I've gotten off tangent. Mirtazapine withdrawl is hell and has been what I've done with the entirety of my adult life so far. My biggest regret has been going on these medications. My mental illnesses are so much worse then when I started, like they didn't work anymore, but if I tried to go off it was hell. It's like everything that was mentally wrong with me managed to break through my new chemically reinforced brain. Like the root cause was never addressed so the illnesses found their way through regardless.
TLDR I'm crawling in my skin and want to die (but won't do anything about it) because of my last taper and everything is horrible. I've also lost 6 pounds in the week since I started. I have no hope and dont know why I keep putting myself through this when I don't have a life worth living.

2023.03.26 12:44 Sea_Establishment480 My first country, and my most loved country in the whole of war thunder: Germany
I remember when i first started playing war thunder. I did not know what it was and how it worked.
At that time i was playinh World of Tanks and it was fun, but then i saw the Tiger in World of Tanks and i fastly thought that in a game like war thunder, the Tiger would be OP (Yes i know it is ridicoulus when reading this, but at that time i was no tank expert)
I started with Germany, immediatly having a good time. The tanks were good and fun and i enjoyed them a lot, only to find that they have next to no armour. But then i learned how to play them, by sniping and ambushing and flanking.
The planes were an completly diffrent story. I did not know how to fly them but i learned fast.
They were nice and fast, and i loved them! They made me learned how to aim with the planes and control the planes in a good way. This went fast and soon i unlocked the Fw 190, my first and best plane in war thunder. I loved it and it soon researched the whole lower rank with it, and i got the Bf 109 and etc. I got the Panzer 4 and it was a blast! Soon i got to the one and only, Tiger.
Many of you will be laughing and saying: Typical wehraboo, thinking the tiger is stronk and impenetrable, and yes i thought like that in the beginning, until i started playing and lost a lot. But what i did was i searched on how to be better with it and soon enjoyed it. Soon to my surprise the Snail gave me a talisman for free on it, and then rank 4 was there, with the mighty Tiger 2 which upgraded my already favorite tiger and the new Panthers.
By this time i was a tank entusiast, and i knew where all weakspots were even though i usually did not have to aim for them. I knew about the Sovjets, Americans etc.
Planes were also doing greatly with the Bf 109 F4 and soon the G series.
Germany was the first tech tree i researched, where i came to 7.3 and above, where i got my first jet namely the ME 262 A1a/u1 and my first MBT, the Leopard 1.
I am researching Sweden now, (2.7) but i do not like facing Germany because of the reason i have a emotional connection with their tanks and planes. Germany is the tech tree i researched since the day i started, and Germany is still my fun tree whenever i feel frustrated with other tech trees underpowered tanks. Germany never had tanks with bad cannons, and even though you could not penetrate an enemy frontally, you could ALWAYS pen someone from the side. And there were of course weakspots in the front of the enemy also. Germany has bad tanks yes, but they work, they are reliable (In game, i know of transmission problems etc irl) and they always pen where they should.
I will miss germany, and someday when i have more time i will go for 10.0 even though it will take half a year.

2023.03.26 12:40 yoknapatawpha425 Best literary dads?
In teaching high school English (American Lit), I have noticed in all the books in the curriculum, characters who are fathers are either morally gray at best (John Proctor in The Crucible, Billy Pilgrim in Slaughter House 5, Jacob Vaark in A Mercy) or outright scumbags (Tom Buchanan in Gatsby, Walt McCandless in Into the Wild).
This got me thinking: who are your favorite literary dads? Hans Huberman from The Book Thief is one who is just so genuinely good-hearted, he has actually inspired me as a father (as much as a fictional character can): endlessly patient, unconditionally loving, and always willing to do the right thing.

2023.03.26 12:30 sneekybreekii Her exes were garbage but she still loved them
Been dating my significant other for a bit now. Knew she had some exes but didn't really pry that much but she'll casually drop some sort of comment about how she used to listen to a song, eat a food, or some other thing that reminds her in particular of one of her exes or something and it'll make me feel like trash, mostly because it's something I feel like missed out on or didn't get, if that makes sense.
Recently I've been struggling with the idea that maybe she doesn't actually love me or care? The people she was with before were degenerate bums, lowlife college dropouts, burnouts, druggies, aimless vagabonds and such. I'm not much, but I can run with the best of them I think, a league above lowlifes like that; I graduated with honors in college, am going into a fairly prestigious law school, no debt, working full-time with disposable income, am in good shape, well-read and talented at my hobbies such as music, art, etc. I feel like it cheapens all the effort I've put into being the person I am and was before; if she was with pathetic lowlifes like that not worth the dirt on my shoes, and justifies it by saying "I loved them at the time," what weight does it carry when she says it to me? And furthermore, why did I have to put in all this effort into being this "better version of myself" when these people that are inferior to me in every measurable metric got her before, while I had to wait and eat dirt for so long. She's the first girl I've ever dated and such, so I'm not sure, I love her alot but idk.

2023.03.26 12:29 luxurycici smoking -free for more than one and a quarter years
I quit smoking at the end of 2021 when my boyfriend was about to leave, his mom died in December and he hasnât been back since then. I was a bit depressed (I had bipolar 15 years ago)and my mom got lung cancer in 2022, I have to turn my digital nomad lifestyle into a full-time office job. It's depressing and I âm fed up with my boss etc...
so despite all these struggles and difficulties, I maintain my smoking-free state for more than one year and also build some healthy habits like fasting and sleeping before 23:00, Iâm very proud of myself.
Somehow I keep it up. The statistic says only 5% of smokers get quitted in cold turkey and 60%of them get relapsed in one year.
I can share some hacks
First for the most the books I read that enhance my motivation are highly recommended: atomic habits, the will power instinct and the easy way to stop smoking. Secondly I learned a lot of what nicotine can do or can't do on human brain thanks to the hubermen lab podcast about nicotine effects on the brains and body how to quit smoking or vaping.
In a nutshell I didn't get so addicted to nicotine (even I have been smoking since I was 18 ) until 2017 I started to vape .
firstly it was the Japanese e-cigarettes then the varieties of vaping electronics. One day I found myself very anxious without having a puff first thing in the morning when I woke up. I felt like my freedom had been taken that was why I decided to quit anyway.then my boyfriend recommend the book the easy way to stop smoking (Allen Carr) which helped his brother quit heroin, since then I learned every addiction associated with psychology and behaviors can change by being aware of your habits and the psychology behind the habit. I started to track myself on sleeping fasting and exercising by using ways of life (a big shout out to the author Lars Arendt ),it is quite useful to visualize what you have achieved and be motivated to the next goal.
It's been one year and three months since I had my last smoke, deep down there has always been a voice shouting in the back of my head have a break and catch a cigarette even biologically I âm not wanting at all, the devil is always there and I have to strengthen my awareness all the time but as time goes by I somehow can maintain my humbleness toward the possibility I might smoke again down the road ,thatâs how I âm very much aware of I can not be defeated.
Hope my experience can help you guys. Peace outđ
