Scouting Sessions uses "mental health" as an excuse to film women's feet in public when in reality he does it for foot fetish content. This sneaky technique was made popular and evolved from a bald guy named Tracy from TheBack40Foot who has many popular videos of himself filming women's feet with the now classic "foot reflexology" line. There have been many more copycats like Scouting Sessions since Tracy appeared on the scene.
2023.03.29 13:06 crocuta_amaryllis i don’t think i love my mother, and i’m not sure where to go next?
i’m currently living in the uk for my secondary degree, while my mother (and father, and 3 siblings) live in the states. my mother and i have always had issues getting along and communicating but it’s only been while i’ve had so much space from her that i’ve started thinking critically about our relationship instead of thinking “just because i don’t like being around her doesn’t mean i don’t love her.”
growing up my mom and dad hit me and my siblings occasionally (up until i was 19) and only my dad says he regrets it. my mom says she thinks it made me and my siblings good people. she’s always been emotionally unavailable and closed off, though she says she loves us and i think i believe her. despite this she’s constantly ignored our mental and physical health problems (mine were most severe, with suicide attempts, but all of my siblings have engaged in self harm, alcohol overuse, and self destructive behavior like me). i’ve been injured to the point of needing hospitalization/surgery multiple times and she’s ignored and dismissed all of these occasions.
i was also diagnosed with autism as a child and she decided to keep this hidden from me until i was in therapy as a 17 year old because she didn’t want me to “feel different” from my siblings/peers (i’m sure you can guess how that went).
all told, my mother isn’t a good person and i don’t think she’s a good mother, either, but i don’t consider her a bad person. she was abused as a child and teenager by her own mother. i expected better, but i’m not sure i hate her (i don’t know if i CAN hate her).
i’ve been thinking recently about what makes you love a family member, and how much that love can tolerate. i’m starting to think i never actually loved my mother and instead loved an idea of a mother i made up in my head.
i know i’ll miss the mother my child-self invented for the rest of my life. i don’t know what to do with the anger and sadness i feel towards my mother for not being the mom i believed in. how do i grieve the loss of a person that never existed? how do i let go of something that was never real?

2023.03.29 13:06 Radiant_Math8628 How do I calculate how many points went into health/melee on my Rex
I currently have a level 150 female Rex knocked out, it has 5500 health and 195 melee which is 20 points into health and 19 into melee I know that but when it’s tamed and the stats are increased now so I calculate how many points it gained from my exceptional kibble at 99% effectiveness

2023.03.29 13:05 Capable-Aardvark5406 Ex sister in law continues to harass my wife and mother in law. What can we do?
A little context, my Brother in law was engaged to someone that is in the middle of what can only be described as a mental breakdown and they now have an on going custody case and she’s attempted to place multiple restraining orders on my BIL to no avail as they get thrown out shortly thereafter.
At certain times she’s gotten drunk and begun calling random family members including my wife with her young daughter crying on the phone with her ranting about no fly lists/daddy has no one so on and so forth, ruined a family vacation with multiple calls and has now begun emailing her long email chains in which at a point called my wife fat multiple times.
We live in different states, but we honestly just want the harassment to stop. She does worse to my mother in law but they’re in the same state. I know my wife’s mental health is taking a toll and we just want left out of it all.
Yes they could just block her, but she’s relentless and will use other means to harass and demean my wife and Mother in law. Can my wife and mother in law press harassment charges, or a restraining order?

2023.03.29 13:05 forthesect Vampire home-brew. How bad is it?
I'm running a pathfinder game for the first time (never played before either), for a group of first time players and I wanted to check that the balance is ok on the first vampire (I'm not really using the normal vampire rules though I am borrowing some aspects of them).
Important side information is that I modified the hero point rules based on a initial misunderstanding of them and a desire to have a buffer for the potential difficulty spikes of the format of my campaign, and the unfamiliarity of me and my players with pathfinder.
The relevant aspects are that you no longer gain a hero point each session but you don't lose them between sessions and you hold up to six. For one you can reroll as usual. For two you halve the damage you take from one activity/hazard/spell (whatever you want to call it, source sort of works but can be a little to vague if you consider a character a source) and change it from a crit to a regular attack if it was a crit (there are factors that modify cost. For three as a free action at pretty much any time before your character dies you can heal one hit point, become conscious if you were unconscious (though the 1 hit point usually covers this yes?), and remove either all stacks of wounded or doomed (this replaces the normal spend all your remaining points to stabilize feature). Finally you can spend five points as a free action at any time to fully heal, become conscious, remove dying and doomed, cure most afflictions, and you can use this as a free action even just as you would fully die. No-one has five hero points yet so that last one is not relevant.
The party is level 1, a ranger (dmpc), gunslinger, witch, two oracles.
As for how the vampire works...
str +3 dex +5 con +3 int+0 wis+0 cha+1
Perception +9, darkvision
AC 16 fort +9 ref +14 will +6
hp 30
speed 40ft
regen 10
revival 3 (creature returns from unconsciousness due to regain only when its health reaches 3 times its regen value, I couldn't figure out what the normal mechanics for how regen effects unconsciousness where so I'm using this for now)
minor deactivation from sunlight (regen does not occur while in sunlight)
minor deactivation from alignment damage 1/2 (when it takes half its regen value in alignment damage it's regen is disabled for a turn)
major deactivation from alignment damage 2 (when it takes twice its regen value in alignment damage it's regen is disabled)
major deactiviation positive damage 2 (when it takes twice its regen value in positive damage its regen is disabled)
negative healing
Melee: claws +12 to hit, agile, damage 1d8+6
vampiric bite: +12 to hit, damage 1d12. This vampire gains temp hp equal to the damage it does with this attack, upon landing this attack on a creature, the creature becomes grabbed. This vampire cannot attack until it releases the bite. On a crit, rather than doing double damage, this attack applies the doomed condition.
Release bite: can only use on a grabbed creature a round after biting it. Auto hit, Damage 1d12, this vampire gains temporary hp equal to the damage it does and the bitten creature must roll a fortitude save for the affliction vampire contagion.
Arresting gaze: this vampire glares at a creature, wich must make a will save dc ten or be unable to act on its next turn. As long as it was not surprised, the vampire may do this as a free action at the start of the encounter.
Rapid speed: this vampire may use the stride action as a free action at the start of its turn.
Desperate bite: upon falling to half health or below for the first time during an encounter, this vampire may use vampiric bite as a free action if there are any creatures within 5 ft of it. It delays its next turn until it is able to release the bite.
Tactics wise it will likely run if they don't fight it in an enclosed space, if it has to fight it will go after those with low armor class, potentially criting them (50% chance for some I think but even with max damage I don't think it will be 2x max health for any of the characters), downing as many as it can. That would mess with their ability to beat it in a damage vs healing race quickly, but they can get up for their turn if they spend the three hero points and the way pathfinder changes initiative at downing should make sure they don't lose a turn when healed to get up, wich with three action heal spell would also damage the vampire (I failed to notice there is a save for this initially so I'll probably ignore that for a bit). It won't attack downed characters. If they are getting close to killing it before it can act its bite reaction may help it stay up, the gunslinger shouldn't be able to crit without rolling a 20 so no fatal unless their luck is good. If they are all downed the vampire will find a way to flee.
To kill it fully they have to expose it to sun or deal a significant amount of alignment or positive damage in one action. Staking it after unconsciousness stops it healing but does not let it reach dying 4. If they cannot stake it or expose it to a weakness quickly
I want this to be hard but doable even if they get bad luck, significantly easier if they spend hero points, but with its low health and its damage coming from crits, and their need to not miss in order to do frequent damage a lot depends on luck. On second thought, unless you think it's a bad idea I may increase its health a bit, maybe even its regen. How is it?

2023.03.29 13:04 ddog10244 Advice
I am graduating undergrad in a year with a BS in public health. I am looking at doing an MPH in epidemiology and possibly a PhD as well. I am based in the US and as I know (like most things in the US), pay is not the best. Does anyone have any advice for making a good living in the field?
I have a “non traditional” college career and thus have multiple years of professional experience in the healthcare and infectious diseases world. I’ve worked in tissue and eye banking for 3 years, hospital microbiology and blood bank for 2 years, and as a first responder during the first two years of Covid. I know that experience is important so any advice will be greatly appreciated. I’m also looking at different programs across the US and some abroad as well. Thank you in advance!

Hey Folks I just started football this january. I would like to know whether do I lock my ankle when my striking foot is gonna contact the ball or do I just start locking my ankle at the start of the swing of my striking foot? I'm just asking if it is similar when locking your wrist at the end or contact of your punch.
Second question is do I need to lock my ankle when I'm trapping a ball or do i just need it to be lose particularly trapping ground pass?

2023.03.29 13:03 elephant_34 I got a targeted ad on Facebook stating my exact age, gender and location. Is it a reason for concern?
I recently got an ad on FB which read something like “The cheapest health insurance for 28 year old women in Switzerland”. My profile doesn’t state where I live (I moved to Switzerland from abroad and my profile still has the original location in it). My birthday and gender are on my profile but are set to private. This targeted ad is so specific that I’m now concerned about how data related to my age and place of residence is handled by FB? I know they provide user data for advertising purposes but this one seems far fetched. What are your thoughts on this?

2023.03.29 13:02 ChristinaT82 Stepped back…
Took a short break from Reddit for a few days…. The 26th was the 8th anniversary of my Mom’s passing and I was having a hard time…. I did stay keto this year unlike in years past…. But emotionally it hit me hard this year…. Today I get to go see the podiatrist for the first time…. Kinda nervous about that because I have some pretty bad neuropathy in my feet, more in my left foot because of my surgeries in 96 but the right one is not so good because of the aggressive chemo and then the T1D being mistreated from 97-15 even though I fought to keep treating it right for my body…. I just didn’t know enough about low carb only of caloric restriction and that didn’t help at all when I was eating junk foods and feeding the PCOS and the insulin resistance in the process 🤦 I wish I would have known more sooner because maybe some of this could have been prevented but it is what it is…. Making changes currently and that’s what matters…. Anywho…. Can anyone help distract me to calm my nerves? What do you have planned for today? Anything fun???!

2023.03.29 13:00 jeannekimchi Distant dreams: What to do after this?
It's tough out here.
I'm currently in an MsC program for global health/social justice/public policy and post-dissertation, I'll be entering the workforce as a fledgling researcher. Going through this course and participating in an internship (nonprofit organization focused on advocacy/comms in the NTD sector, works close with governmental bodies), I've realized that wow ... I don't know what I want to do!
My interests lie within sexual & reproductive justice (dissertation on male contraceptives) as well as climate justice, particularly in the global southeast. I would love to gain some more years of advocacy/comms work for an NGO or research position in a pharma company. For good reason, I don't see this field as my end-all-be-all, I would love to go more into comms and marketing as I have a creative side that I would enjoy exploiting a bit. I also have a distant dream of being an artist and opening a pottery store. But that is for much, much later, perhaps never in this economy (lol)!
For context, I am an American citizen studying in London, I plan on staying in London and (hopefully) working remote in America. Looking towards the future, it's hard to envision where my career path is going and I was hoping to get some guidance from people with a similar track record to me.
What have you found fulfillment in? Where did you end up after your program? How are Americans holding up with remote global health positions? Are there any sectors I am ignoring or should look into?
Many thanks for your expertise and insight, I really do appreciate each and every one of you!

2023.03.29 13:00 cavemankettlebells Kettlebells for hip mobility and strength
In this video, I demonstrate the kettlebell Curtsy lunge deadlift. It’s a great kettlebell exercise to work on hip, ankle, and knee strength, but also flexibility. The exercise—like any kettlebell exercise—requires progression, if you skip that progression you will run the risk of injury. If the exercise injures you, it wasn’t the exercise but the proper progression or programming that you were lacking.
The exercise is great to improve strength and ROM for external and internal hip rotation. I designed this exercise for our CAVEMANROM suite of exercises. The Curtsy is a great exercise to include in kettlebell combos. We design hybrid workouts in our weekly online kettlebell workouts that include sportstyle, Hardstyle, freestyle, bodyweight exercises, stretches and mobility work.

2023.03.29 13:00 NowaHeart IEM to use with PC (Gaming/Music)
I always used closed back headphones/headsets but always found them uncomfortable. I currently have CoolerMaster MH752 and love their sound but decided to switch to IEM just to not constantly feel pressure on my head.
I picked up the Moondrop Aria, but I don't know if I got a faulty model or my PC just produces very high static electricity, but after a few days of use the left earpiece now keeps zapping my ear and has a bit of a static sound. It's not sudden shocks, just constant "tingling" that makes that earpiece unwearable. It's totally possible I just didn't notice the first few days too by the way, since I used them only for a few hours. I can tell it doesn't happen if I connect them to my phone and the zapping gets worse if I touch the ground with my foot.
I liked how the Aria sounded even though it felt weird at the start, but I was getting used to it. Do you have any suggestion for similar IEMs in the same price range, preferably with a plastic casing so we can rule out the PC static thing too? I really don't know if that is the issue but I'd love to avoid going into the "order and refund" hell of trial and error.

2023.03.29 13:00 Exciting-Risk9078 Claiming PIP and difficult partner on current joint UC claim (England) - who gets PIP payment?
(England)
Situation/Question in brief : I have a joint claim UC, partner receives the payments into her bank account.
Q - If I claim PIP in the next week or two, will that PIP payment come directly to me or will my partner pocket all that too?
I have a "benefit advisor" in the general sense that my outpatients group put me in touch with but they don't know definitively if the PIP payment is a personal thing or if it will only be paid to the UC designated bank account holder. She advised asking here as she said you people are awesome :)
I have a joint claim with my partner, or possibly, my soon-to-be ex-partner. She manages all the finances and gets the UC payments but won't let me see what the money is spent on at all.
I haven't seen a penny of any UC since the claim started in June or July last year. (I moved in with her a couple of months earlier when I gave up my rented bungalow)
We don't have a joint account so I can't see what she spends the UC on, but when challenging her to justify the "there's nothing left after the bills and food are paid" I just get an angry tirade about "trust".
As I'm classed as LCWRA (and that will not change with a serious degenerating condition) there's an additional 350 quid or so a month that appears to be "magically dissapearing" somehwere.
Enough moaning: I've been advised to claim PIP as according to my work/benefits advisor (from a charity - relating to my health conditions) I should "sail through" at higher rate daily and lower mobility rates
I'm pretty ill and have GP, specialist, CPN and support worker who are all encouraging me to claim PIP and have categorically stated they will write in support of my claim. I think they have been in touch with each other regarding the PIP as I was very reluctant initially as the health process for the LCWRA was absolutely horrendous
I scored 0 on my UC50 review - been very ill and in Support Group/ESA for almost a decade, condition only worsens and got much worse lately. So as you would expect I scored a big fat zero at mandatory reconsideration too, then scored 40+ points on appeal and scored max on 2 of the "important 15 pointers" as my benefits advisor puts it. I'm currently bedridden as I type this but hopefully only temporarily, I'm "gently mobile" around the house for 3/4 of the year on average unless I have a setback. Stairlift, carer for meals/meds if partner is not around (she's jobsearching so out 3+ days a week jumping UC hoops) , carer with car to go out, that sort of level.
So, last month or so I have been researching the whole PIP thing and I am finally going to go for it.
My mental health has taken a huge dive with the whole LCWRA thing and also the mysterious missing UC money/partner situation, so a few months of PIP saved up and I should be able to look to moving out of this awful financial arrangement.
I could maybe afford to live alone if I get PIP, but if I ask the UC to pay me direct my half of the UC partner will boot me out - which she confirmed last night in another blazing row. She doesn't know I'm going to apply for PIP. I'm in no physical position to move anywhere so status quo as all I can manage for now - it's already caused one full-on mental breakdown so I don't want to risk another until I have an exit strategy.

This is the best tl;dr I could make,
original reduced by 78%. (I'm a bot)
The chief of staff for imprisoned Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny is urging Australia to continue to exert financial pressure on the Kremlin.
In Australia for meetings in Canberra and with the large Russian diaspora, Mr Volkov said increased economic pressure from the West could make it difficult for Mr Putin to continue to finance his invasion of Ukraine, and ultimately push the dictator out of office.
In August 2020, Mr Navalny was allegedly poisoned by the Russian secret service with a military-grade nerve agent called Novichok.
According to Mr Volkov, Mr Navalny was moved to a 2x3 metre cell as a form of punishment after the documentary Navalny won an Oscar a few weeks ago.
Mr Volkov said the harassment of Mr Navalny would not break him, but the nature of his imprisonment endangered his health.
Mr Volkov said the Navalny opposition movement would never stop fighting for a democratic alternative to Mr Putin's regime.

2023.03.29 13:00 ApexFrostii Is there a chance me [20M] and my girlfriend [19F] can fix things?
Me [20M] and my girlfriend [19F] met three years ago when we were both younger and stupid, we made mistakes that ruined our relationship at the time and we went no contact. We then tried again but it was way to early after the last time and we both had a lot of things we hadn’t healed from so we left things and tried again during summer last year, this time things were amazing. We’ve had such a good relationship but things started to go wrong. Shes been working 3 jobs with one being her own beauty business whereas I’ve been unemployed while struggling to get into the career I went to college for after being stuck in a bunch of dead end jobs. I behaved childish at times because I felt like I couldn’t focus on anything as the pressure of getting a job has taken over my life. This took a tole on our relationship as she has been going through her own struggles with mental health due to family and work. We started a break but I panicked and begged and blew up her phone because I worried from past experiences that she was going to leave. She told me she wasn’t going to but my behaviour during the break hurt her as I said things I didnt mean out of frustration and panic. I behaved like somebody I’m not because past trauma and abandonment issues came back that I thought I had healed from. We’ve agreed we need time apart but I dont want this to be the end when our circumstances were the reason it ever got to this. I messed up and I’ve never regretted anything more because she is more than just another girlfriend. I’m usually quite emotionally numb when it comes to these things but she means the world to me. Is there a chance we can fix things?
TL;DR: me and my girlfriend broke up, is there a chance we can get back together?

2023.03.29 12:58 Housemeee [IWantOut] 32F New Zealand -> Estonia
I went to Europe last year in the summer and I really loved Tallinn. I felt so safe and comfortable there. I went to the beaches and the forest and the old town. I could see myself living there. Maybe not for the rest of my life, but for some time, to experience something new and for an adventure. I would love to see a real white winter. Just for the life experience. I travelled to about 10 cities in Europe and Tallinn felt like home.
I had a health scare and it made me realise that if I stay here in NZ for another year I am going to regret not exploring the world while I'm young and able. I can't stay in NZ just incase my parents or grandparents need something. I have to live while I can.
I have no formal qualifications. I work at a shipping port as an administrator. I'm computer savvy and learn new things quickly. But I don't know coding or anything. I use a program called Navis N4 to coordinate shipping container movements. I communicate with dispatchers, freight companies, shipping lines, via phone and email all day. I love my job, I wish I could work at a shipping port or in the logistics industry in Estonia, but it's probably not possible without speaking the language.
I worked very hard to buy property in NZ. I receive passive income from my rental properties equivalent to $1300 euro per month (net). That's including if I moved overseas I would rent out the house I currently live in.
My big dream would be to take a year off, work some cruisy job part time as a barista, dishwasher, farm hand, baby sitter. I'm not looking to "hustle" or be rich. I just want a simple comfortable life. I could live off my savings for 1 year, but I'd get bored, and then would start to worry about having no salary income.
I'd want to learn the language too.
I'm too old for the working holiday visa. I can get the long stay D Visa, it seems like people arrive in Estonia and apply once they get there. I would like to try it. Otherwise, I can only stay in the Schengen area for 90 days. I would even like to study Estonian language, if I couldn't get a job, that would be my job.
I can get a UK passport, through my grandmother, but since brexit that won't help me with living in mainland Europe. I don't want to live and work in the UK.
Has anyone got out to Estonia or the Baltics?
