Okay. My situation is this: Me and my long-distance boyfriend just had a trip together, and when he left, and after my dopamine dropped because of the successful trip, I started feeling unmotivated to do anything alone. I told my friend, who checked on me, and it turned into a two hours long phone call, where I discovered that there are a lot of activities around me, but I couldn't go because my only friend has been very occupied lately. And this is when I got the genius idea of asking people through my Instagram story if they are interested in hanging out with me.
During these 2 hours, I made the mistake of not replying to my boyfriend, who was very busy driving around all day and being quite absent and nontalkative since morning. After the "ignoring" time, where if I'm being honest, I wasn't replying to his last message immediately, because it had a bit of passive-aggressivity to it, he started being the one not replying, and even saying he's "not feeling like talking to me today". I asked about it, but like always, he didn't want to elaborate. After hours of barely having a normal conversation, he said he feels "used and disrespected by me" and I tried to encourage talking about it, what he immediately shut down, again, like always. I told him that for the hundredth time, please stop saying that there's a problem, and then not try to solve it, because it gives me extreme amounts of anxiety trying to figure out what I did wrong. And to that, this is what I've got:
"How would you feel if after a nice vacation and after the fun is gone I would ignore your messages and in the meantime post on Instagram about finding someone to go out with places? Advertising yourself like on Tinder. Should I be ok with you going out dancing with your ex? Or other dudes? Or your lesbian friends? Are you out of your mind? Is this normal around there?"
So yeah, that left me flabbergasted. I feel like there's a bit of exposition needed here. We are from different countries, but we talk to each other in English. I wrote the post in my language, which means, he had to translate it, and I feel like there's a lot that gets lost in translation, but I'll try my best to make it understandable.

The main question is DO YOU SEE ANY PROBLEM WITH THIS TEXT? Because I don't. In my eyes, it showcases my humor and my awkwardness with social situations. But that obviously isn't what he saw in it. He's been cheated by his previous partner, which destroyed him, and now he has absolutely zero trust towards anybody, which includes me because I slipped up once by not taking his boundaries seriously enough in the past. So the first thing he does is jump to conclusions because as you see, there was no mention of partying with dudes. On the other hand, I'm bisexual, which he never really got over, because he comes from a very conservative place, and doesn't really understand that no, I don't want to fuck my friends just because they're girls.
I still don't really understand what the main problem was, because what he always brought up was this scenario. "What if a guy replies to my story and I start talking to and feel comfortable around him, and he offers to take me out somewhere?" First of all, I explained to him that I wouldn't reply to a guy, because I know that he would see that as disrespectful, and I very hardly feel comfortable around men, so for me to actually make friends with one has to mean that I feel a 100% safe with them not trying anything and last, but most importantly I'm not an NPC! Just because a guy comes and talks to me doesn't mean that I'll act like a magnet, and stuck to them. I can make my own decisions, but because of his issues with trust, he can't seem to trust me with not being mindless.
And he had a problem with how I'm advertising myself to the whole city, while I know that I barely have any people added from here and could tell you that exact 50 people who actually watch my stories, and they know as well, that I'm talking to my already existing friends who I might have lost touch with.
So after an hour of intense trying to make the other understand, my conclusion was that next time if he feels like I did something wrong, what I CLEARLY can't sense by myself, don't spend the day not talking to me and making me anxious, but communicate the problem to me as soon as he feels wronged by me, because then I might even have a chance of fixing it.

This is my first time posting on Reddit so my apologies if I don’t follow the correct format. There was an arcade game at Chuck E. Cheese that I used to be really good at but I can’t remember the name of it for the life of me. It was a coin stopper game that centered around monsters. If I remember correctly the monsters would line up with targets and if the coin hit the target with a monster lined up with it you’d get points. And some monsters had letters attached to them I think and if you collected all the letters ( I think it spelled out monster or something like that) you’d get to play this maze mini game for extra tickets. I remember there being two slot where tickets would come out of. If someone could show me a picture of this game or provide me a name it’d be greatly appreciated!

2023.06.03 13:09 FogHornicus Frustrating teaching method, funny thought & request for grammar help! Had to end lesson early out of sheer frustration & fear I’d imitate Samual L Jackson in Pulp Fiction. “Say Kogo/Czego again, MF, I dare you!!”
So I’ll start by saying I’m dyslexic so I learn a little differently and I know what will work for me after many years of struggle to get where I am, even if I don’t know the subject in question (which would be the case, you know, if I’m trying to learn it). And despite my severe dyslexia I have a BA, 2 masters, speak 4 other languages (B1 to fluent, not counting Polish which is A2/B1 with Polish it’s 5) and have a very good job and bla bla bla. I always add that here in Poland because I’ve found that some people either don’t understand dyslexia or have something against it, or something. One person told me they don’t believe it exists the same way there aren’t 75 genders…I was just confused. But I’m not judging, love Poland and all but do feel the need to add that.
So, due to dyslexics well know trouble with grammar I always avoid it but I’ve seen how it’s holding me back in my Polish so I’ve gotten so private lessons just for grammar. In this context I further explained to the teacher what is usually best for people like me and explained a few approaches (read The Dyslexic Advantage if you want an overview of them). The one I wanted to start with could be described as creating a story and context for memory…grammar just involves memorizing sometimes nonsensical things in any language and route learning (just beating info into your head with no understanding of the wider context) is very hard for nearly all dyslexics but if we understand how something fits into a wider context and add in a story, we will almost never forget it. So this is just easier, right? I’ve tried this with a few Polish teachers and they don’t seem to like it (as a side note, why? What’s the issue here?).
So I explained all this to the guy, my tutor. Yet when we were on a grammar problem involving picking the correct case, when I want an explanation why I got it wrong all he did was scream, “Kogo/Czego, Kogo/Czego” over and over. No explanation, nothing. I said this is what I was talking about and the exact opposite of what will work for me. So I asked if I could explain again the way I learn in English this time. He got furious and kept screaming “Kogo/Czego, Kogo/Czego.” I was like, “I do not know what that means..perhaps if you explain it and the wider context to me like I asked it will.” I mean, is this unreasonable? His reaction to this was to push me a little (I was sitting and he was standing) and repeated “Kogo/Czego, Kogo/Czego!!” almost hysterically now. I shot out of my seat angry because they guy just pushed me, I mean it was no big deal but he just crossed a line. He was about to speak after stepping back (I think my standing up like that surprised him) and I cut him off, “if you say Kogo/Czego again…”. Then I stopped myself and just said “To tyle na dziś, miłego weekendu i do zobaczenia w poniedziałek” and left. Other at the school had gathered outside our little room…maybe hoping to see a fist fight over grammar?!? I definitely see the humor in this all.
Now I’m wondering what to do Monday! Maybe I should imitate Samuel L Jackson in Pulp Fiction when he pulls out a .45 and dares a guy to say what again…but in my case we will swap what with Kogo/Czego! I’m not serious of course but it is maddening. Is this a thing? I’m confused.
After some googling I see that Kogo/Czego is supposed to cue me to recall…something in dopełniać. What that is I have no idea. The entire thing was bizarre and Polish grammar is hard enough, especially for dyslexics. I’m like a masochist or something for trying!
So…the important bit! I know these question words connect to the 7 cases in some way now. How or why or what knowledge or grammar chart that is is a mystery to me. Can someone do what my tutor failed to do earlier today and explain all of it with context and why (what’s up with the yelling question words as a teaching method by the way - I don’t get it at all but I’ve heard it before). Also once I understand the story and context is there a chart or something (like a conjugation table in French or Spanish equivalent in Polish) that this is supposed to trigger or…what? I will say this — I bought cart only and it got lost in transit (Ferrante Crafts is in The Netherlands, I am in the US, naturally USPS lost it) and the guy running it took full ownership of the issue and even let me upgrade to a boxed copy when he sent out the next one. Some conversation was had about hollow man made constructed worlds and the problem arose that if the world was smaller, gravity would not be enough to keep an atmosphere.
If it was possible to 'cheat some gravity' into the center of the man made constructed planet, you could then have an atmosphere... Heck you might even be able to have teeny planets, like less than a kilometer in diameter like Super Mario Galaxy, but I haven't done the exact math... I'm just saying... If you had cheater gravity like that of a neutron star, you could do some pretty cool things. So this brings us to a really fantastic thought: How do we get some of the neutron star ejected from escape velocity?
Well a neutron star has a ridiculously intense gravitational pull, almost that of a black hole. We ain't going to mine a black hole theoretically with science knowledge we have now, but could we mine a neutron star if we fired a projectile at a high fraction of c?
I mean it's a whimsical thought:
1) We know that since the gravitational pull of a neutron star is extreme, yet still finite then one would suppose there is an escape velocity.
2) We might have the science to imagine making a projectile a high fraction of the speed of light, but we do not have the tech to do this or even make a hollow constructed planet. This is thinking tens of thousands of years in the future.
3) Aiming the projectile would take a lot of math too. I would surmise that we'd want to aim for the near surface to kick out some mass, without losing all the energy into a core hit.
4) It would probably take many attempts since if you hit it too light, you don't break atomic bonds or escape velocity. But if you hit it too hard, after it escapes gravitational pull, it could rocket into space extremely fast too.
This is all fun stuff to think about, but I am sure the scientific community has weighed in on it in the past. Can you give me more details, what I'm missing and some more fun information about this?
I'm a physicist and I write scifi for space sim games. So even just a bit of science to fit with whimsy helps.

Right now I have the best relationship I’ve had with him as we bond over sailboats and hockey. The elements that I had to buy because it was impossible for me to print are: - the mechanism => Hattori/Seiko PC21 (8€) - the mineral glass => 35.9mm (4.20€) - the hands => 1.20mm & 0.70mm (5.60) - the strap => 18mm silicone strap (12€) So for a little less than 30€, I have the non-printable elements allowing me to make a custom watch. (I took all of these elements on the French site: my-montre.com - But I know that you can easily find even cheaper for the same).
I'm really into Opensource and sharing. Everything I do (digitally) I make an edit/simplify copy that I share without restriction. I need your opinion if possible... We can see that the dial is not very clean. It's because I haven't finished it yet. So lately my sign up numbers have been low manager 1 relayed the message from manager 2 that I used to be on top at around 32% and dropped to around 21%. Manager two also said that “its like I’m not even trying” when in reality it’s a variety of factors that is out of my control such as people not wanting to give an email even when I tell them they won’t get the discounts or points, people being in a rush or being impatient from not enough cashiers even when I tell them it’ll take a few minutes and it’s free, people firmly saying no and refusing to sign up, me explaining the benefits of signing up and then still saying no thanks, oldheads who are scared of getting emails and spam even when I say they can opt out of emails/texts, people who are just petsitting or breeding dogs who can care less, people who get upset because I’m asking for a phone number again because it didn’t save them money the first time, people where English is there first language and despite me trying to get past the language barrier they refuse, people who say “I don’t live around here” or “don’t come here often”, people who can’t remember their number and I try to jog their memory, and finally people who obviously know the benefits of signing up but they’ll pay full price anyway and just be like “that’s okay 😁”. Not to mention I alternate between petcare and cashier so some weeks I may not even be on the register for long periods of time but I make sure to ask every single person.

Yet, she’s being snide and rude on text. Saying “you’re useless,” when i said I wouldn’t drop pick up our son 9pm and let her drop him off 6am unless she lets him sleep over.
She also continues to coach my 5 year old son into saying i hit him, i lost him, i took him to the basement, I touched his pee pee (which she said she “investigated,” and said seemed okay) etc.

Hey! I really want to become rich. And i know that that is something everyone wants, but it doesnt even need to be long term. I just want to pay back my mom, she has given so much. Her life would've been so much more prosperous and rich if she hadnt had children, and shes going to retire soon, but she wont have any money then, since she wasnt able to put back a lot of money because of me and my siblings. I am going on this trip with my wife in mid October. I've out together an itinerary and was hoping someone with experience could give their view on it and whether I have planned too much. Also, whether anything I've included is actually not worth the hassle or similar to something else.
About us... Mid 30s. I am not a fan of crowds (they bring my heart rate up) and am aware that many of the places on the itinerary are crowded but my wife really wants to go to Japan so here we are. My favourite holiday activities are things like kayaking and nature walking (moderate hikes are fine with us) - I love nature and beautiful scenary. To be honest, I've struggled to incorporate these things into the itinerary so if there's any suggestions people may have for activities close to where we are going I'd love to here them. I saw you could kayak in Okutama but all I could find is group things and we really don't like group activites.
I have one request for food suggestions which is a fancy dinner local to The Gate Hotel in Ginza on Day 13 (But not so fancy that jeans/smart shoes are needed as we won't have those).
Neither of us are into anime but the wife likes pokemon.
We are flying from the UK. Flight departs at 7.20pm so we expect to sleep on the plane.
Day 1 - Monday 16th October - Tokyo - Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Marunouchi
Land at 5.15pm. Check in at hotel and go to Asakusa / Senso-ji / Sumida Park

Bugzee, the tour manager, had a big calendar on the walls, Gongaware explained, saying they changed the dates of the shows four times. The jury was shown an email in which Gongaware worked with a staffer to create a calendar to show Jackson. He wanted colors changed. He said Michael would be dressed up in a LED suit, like a television, flashing on him brief movie about things that happened in history. Michael would be lowered down onto the stage. He called the LED suit a "Moon man" suit, but Ortega called it "Light man." Putnam showed a presentation of how the LED suit idea would work. Footage is not on This Is It documentary because it was early stages of prep. Gongaware said the 1st idea was to make Michael float from the audience, but they couldn't make it work. So they decided to lower him down onto the stage. Gongaware said the big screen on the back of the stage was 3D capable. The audience would be given glasses when they entered the show. The 3D songs would be Thriller, Earth Song and Smooth Criminal. "He wanted to do biggest, best show ever, live show," Gongaware said Putnam showed email chain from Ortega to Gongaware asking to make a deal with choreographer Travis Payne. Answer from Gongaware: This is not AEG money, it's Michael's money so it takes a lot of time to get approvalsDefendants were trying to establish a pattern that all the money spent was actually Michael's money, not AEG's, just like with Dr. Murray At one point Gongaware said he learned from Michael about a doctor named Murray. "He came to me and said he wanted his personal doctor on the tour". Gongaware said he suggested to Michael to get a licensed doctor in London who would know the lay of the land, in case of need. I think what he meant was his brain could create it but his body had to deliver the show every night Putnam: "Were you surprised he wanted to take his doctor on tour?"Gongaware said other artists take doctors as well, so he was not the only one and it didn't surprise him. Gongaware said he's been on tour before where an artist had chiropractors, but couldn't remember being in one with a doctor Putnam: "Did you worry Michael might have a health issue?"Gongaware said the suggestion for a London doctor was due to the cost; paying a doctor full time was much more expensive than hiring a local doctor. Gongaware said Dr. Murray treated Michael for about three years before 2009. He knew the doctor was from Las Vegas but said he was in LA. Gongaware said he then called Dr. Murray to work out a deal. Gongaware called Murray on behalf of Michael saying the singer wanted to take him to London. "What do you want to be paid for that," Gongaware asked. "He said he has 4 clinics to close, would lay off people, needs $5 million for that." Asked by Putnam if Murray's price was reasonable: "It was ridiculous," Gongaware said about the amount asked. "It was a lot of money for something like that and Michael could not afford it." Gongaware said he responded that it wasn't going to work" He said this was the first time he spoke with Dr. Murray. After that, Gongaware said he told Michael Amir and Randy Phillips what the doctor had asked. He also told Frank DiLeo. Gongaware said a lot of people who wanted to work for MJ asked for huge sums of money, thinking he had a lot. Putnam: "Would you be doing this if Michael had not asked you?""He was Michael's doctor, Michael wanted him. That was it," Gongaware said. Putnam:" Did you think about checking the doctor?"" I'm not going to tell Michael Jackson who his doctor should be," Gongaware explained. "It wasn't my place to say who his doctor was going to be," Gongaware said. "It was his decision." Gongaware said he doesn't think a doctor's financial situation has anything to do with being an ethical doctor. Gongaware said it never crossed his mind to either do a background check on Dr. Murray or to suggest to anyone to do it. "I just expect doctors to be ethical, the financial side of their lives shouldn't have an impact on their medical decision," Gongaware opined. Gongaware said he never did a background check on anyone he hired and had he done one on Dr. Murray, it would've been out of the ordinary. He also said he never considered performing background checks on Jackson's makeup artist, a choreographer who worked one-on-one with the singer or Kenny Ortega, the tour's director. "I didn't see the need for it," he said. Dr. Finkelstein, a friend of Gongaware, said a doctor should charge $10,000 a month for the tour work. But Dr. Finkelstein would've done it for free, since he was on the Dangerous tour before and had a lot of fun The second call about Dr. Murray came from Michael Amir Williams saying they were going to need to get a deal done for the doctor. Gongaware said he heard Michael in the car saying "offer 150, offer 150." Gongaware understood that to be $150k/month. Gongaware called Dr. Murray, said he was authorized to offer him $150k a month. He said Dr. Murray responded that he couldn't do it for that. Gongaware told him the offer came directly from the artist and Dr. Murray responded: "I'll take it" Gongaware said Michael approved the amount of compensation. "Michael told me offer 150," Gongaware recalled. "And that's what I did." Gongaware inquired from Dr. Murray how he would get a license in London and the doctor told him not to worry about it. They talked about Dr. Murray's request for a house in London, and the doctor said he would need a three bedroom house. Gongaware recalled Dr. Murray saying he would probably need an assistant and some equipment, but no details were given at this point. Tour would be demanding and exhausting Gongaware said he met Dr. Murray once at MJ's Carolwood house and ran into him at The Forum during rehearsal. There was a meeting scheduled to discuss Michael's nutrition with Randy Phillips, Kenny Ortega, Dr. Murray, Michael, Gongaware and DiLeo. Putnam: "Do you recall anyone in that meeting ever telling Dr. Murray how he should be treating Michael?"Gongaware said he didn't have any medical training and wasn't qualified to tell Conrad Murray how to treat Jackson Gongaware said neither Dr. Murray nor Michael talked about the treatment he was receiving. The meeting was about nutrition & vitamin therapy. Gongaware said he had no idea Dr. Murray was giving Michael Propofol and first heard of the anesthetic after Michael died. "We wouldn't pay his salary, we'd advance Michael's money". Gongaware said he didn't remember writing/receiving the email, but never denied he did it. As to Michael being habitually late, Gongaware said the singer worked on his own schedule, did things his way Gongaware said his understanding was that Michael hired a trainer of his choice, Louis (Lou) Ferrigno: "I made the deal with him (Ferrigno). Gongaware testified he didn't recall having any concern about Michael's health/using painkillers as of Monday 6/15/09, 10 days prior to his death Gongaware was asked about several emails that have been shown before, including messages related to MJ missing rehearsal on June 19, 2009. The executive was on the East Coast for a family wedding, but responded to one message questioning why Murray wasn't at rehearsal. Gongaware email: Take the doctor with you. Why wasn't he there last night?He then explained his thinking to the jury. Gongaware: If his patient is having a problem and he's sick, and he's his only patient, it seemed like he should be thereGongaware said on 6/19/09, he was out of town. Our dream wedding is an intimate (10-20 people) outdoor wedding at a National park in front of an amazing view with a somewhat casual, local reception in our hometown for the rest of our friends and family later on. We are both very outdoorsy people and love places with mountains or beaches, but I have been looking at locations within my favorite parks with easier walking access and even golf cart access for people who aren’t into hiking like we are.
If I had my way I would elope, but my fiancé wants a few people and my mom is adamant that she witness it, even if she has to “hide behind a rock where we won’t even notice her.”
I started telling my dad and step mom about our plans to see how far they would be willing to travel so we could choose a National Park and their answer surprised me. Most of my family lives in the Midwest and they are wanting me to plan something within a couple hours of our hometown near which are zero National Parks. They keep sending me ideas for venues there and I feel like they aren’t understanding that I just don’t want that.
They have always been about traveling and being free spirited, but they are now the only ones to try to guilt me into having a more local wedding and to save the travel for a honeymoon. Their excuse is that no one wants to fly or drive that far and how people with dogs will be inconvenienced (we also have dogs). Its pretty obvious they are the ones not wanting to travel far or deal with their dogs because no one else has expressed a problem with it or is just not going and happy attending the reception.
The biggest head scratcher to me is in the same text they were talking about how since they paid for one of my older brothers to get married in Vegas (he eloped and had a hometown reception) they would pay for or contribute to my venue.
I am at a loss, the last thing I want to do is start an argument or make them feel like i don’t care if they come ( i really do want them to come but if they legitimately can’t i will understand). I’m sort of just really confused and disappointed by their reaction.

I (F30) have multiple children but this "issue" centers around my 9yr old daughter.
She has been watching youtube videos (supervised, obviously) for a little over a year now. This started off with slime and challenge videos and now has evolved in to a more family-vloggers orientated preference.
I wasn't happy about that as I personally feel like people vlogging and very publicly sharing every second of every day of their kids personal lifes are dispicable and taking advantage of their child(ren). Obviously i'm talking about the content that goes way beyond sharing a cute photo or video with friends and family.
Now, despite the fact that I wasn't happy about it I didn't stop her from watching this. It isn't violent or sexual in nature and I figured I could take this opportunity to provide some education towards the repercussions of what you share online and how to responsibly analyse and consume content.
This has gone decently well, obviously she's only 9 so she can't quite grasp everything involved fully yet.
Now, over the last couple of months she has been pretending to be a vlogger, walking around with an old phone, talking to an audience she doesn't have and sharing her day to day life. As this was "pretend" I kept half an eye on it as it was happening but mostly just let her play.
Now, she has learned that one of her classmates (also F9) was allowed an account on tiktok and has been allowed to make content of her own (mostly dance-videos and copying make up tutorials from what i've gathered) and she has decided she also wants to have a tiktok-account.
I said no, explained why and she had an absolute meltdown. In typical preteen fashion she accused me of "not understanding", "ruining her life" and "holding her back because i'm too old to understand that's how things are now." I, again, told her that until she was old enough to fully understand tge possible repercussions of what you put online and grasp the variety of dangers the internet hosts she would not be allowed on any social media.
She stated that "other parents make content of their kids" and that it's obviously fine if other people do so, as those kids are okay and safe so why wouldn't she be.
I always try to have conversations and try to explain my reasoning in stead of being the "because I said so" type of parent and in doing so the discussion escalated to the point where i'm wondering if I, for now at least, should be barring family and childvlogging from my home, until she has the capacity to be more critical and look at this with the appropriate context.
I am also aware that this is my personal opinion and that many people will disagree with me, including my daughter. I encourage them to form their own opinions and obviously we're bound to disagree on some things, and that's okay.
That being said; the internet truly is a dangerous place and I wouldn't allow my child near a drughouse to be able to form her own opinion on drugs, so maybe I should not allow her on the internet in the capacity she wants quite yet and in the process bar or limit the content that encourages to do so.
But on the other other hand, banning something only makes it more attractive.
As you can probably tell I have been debating myself on this for a solid amount of hours by now and I truly do not know how to proceed.
So here I am, wondering how other people/parents view this and how they handle it. I would also like to know if my view on this is truly outdates or if i'm ill informed. What do you guys think?
EDIT; It is important to note that she does not have a phone or tablet of her own and uses mine or an old one without internet access .

I wasn't happy about that as I personally feel like people vlogging and very publicly sharing every second of every day of their kids personal lifes are dispicable and taking advantage of their child(ren). Obviously i'm talking about the content that goes way beyond sharing a cute photo or video with friends and family.
Now, despite the fact that I wasn't happy about it I didn't stop her from watching this. It isn't violent or sexual in nature and I figured I could take this opportunity to provide some education towards the repercussions of what you share online and how to responsibly analyse and consume content.
This has gone decently well, obviously she's only 9 so she can't quite grasp everything involved fully yet.
Now, over the last couple of months she has been pretending to be a vlogger, walking around with an old phone, talking to an audience she doesn't have and sharing her day to day life. As this was "pretend" I kept half an eye on it as it was happening but mostly just let her play.
Now, she has learned that one of her classmates (also F9) was allowed an account on tiktok and has been allowed to make content of her own (mostly dance-videos and copying make up tutorials from what i've gathered) and she has decided she also wants to have a tiktok-account.
I said no, explained why and she had an absolute meltdown. In typical preteen fashion she accused me of "not understanding", "ruining her life" and "holding her back because i'm too old to understand that's how things are now." I, again, told her that until she was old enough to fully understand tge possible repercussions of what you put online and grasp the variety of dangers the internet hosts she would not be allowed on any social media.
She stated that "other parents make content of their kids" and that it's obviously fine if other people do so, as those kids are okay and safe so why wouldn't she be.
I always try to have conversations and try to explain my reasoning in stead of being the "because I said so" type of parent and in doing so the discussion escalated to the point where i'm wondering if I, for now at least, should be barring family and childvlogging from my home, until she has the capacity to be more critical and look at this with the appropriate context.
I am also aware that this is my personal opinion and that many people will disagree with me, including my daughter. I encourage them to form their own opinions and obviously we're bound to disagree on some things, and that's okay.
That being said; the internet truly is a dangerous place and I wouldn't allow my child near a drughouse to be able to form her own opinion on drugs, so maybe I should not allow her on the internet in the capacity she wants quite yet and in the process bar or limit the content that encourages to do so.
But on the other other hand, banning something only makes it more attractive.
As you can probably tell I have been debating myself on this for a solid amount of hours by now and I truly do not know how to proceed.
So here I am, wondering how other people/parents view this and how they handle it. I would also like to know if my view on this is truly outdates or if i'm ill informed. What do you guys think?
EDIT; It is important to note that she does not have a phone or tablet of her own and uses mine or an old one without internet access .

Hello! I’ve got my receiver hidden on the the other side of the wall - just realised the remote for the receiver won’t work as the box isn’t in line of sight.
How can I solve this? An option thats wireless and doesn’t involve me having to take the TV off and run another cable through the wall would be AMAZING - because that’s a nightmare
